"Hunter? Hunter." You state softly. Taking off his mask you push your hands through his messy hair gently moving it to the side to looks for any wounds he could've gotten under the mask. His magenta eyes flicker up to stare at you as you call his name. Their wide in panic and you had to keep your hands from shaking. He needed you to be the adult right now. "Deep breaths Hunter. Deep breaths." You state seeing how much he was shaking. He nods but gasps with each breath he takes, a little strained whistle escaping his gap teeth. Staring at him not sure what to do you look around the hallways before swallowing.

Pulling him into a tight hug the Golden Guard begins sobbing against you as you just hold him in your arms. You close your eyes and begin to softly hum that song you know he likes. Shifting your cloak so it's around him picking him up, you slowly start walking him to his room when he didn't object. He clings to you tightly and you move quickly, he needed to be someplace private and someplace quiet.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I failed I failed..." He repeats over and over but you just shake your head softly as you keep him close. He's lighter than you thought you think as you carefully adjust him. He hadn't failed, you were ambushed and what happened wasn't anyone fault. The Emperor would be angry but you were older and wiser and had been in the coven longer, you'd report what happened and take the blame for the team. Hunter may have been higher ranked but you were older and second lead. This was no one's fault but the Emperor needed someone to blame.

"You didn't fail Hunter. You don't need to be sorry." You keep repeating slowly before you finally make it to his room. You help him remove his armor until he's just in his clothes underneath and you stay with him until he passes out on his bed. Pulling up his blanket you close your eyes hand rubbing his back in soothing circles to help him stay calm.

Emperor Belos would not be pleased...

Your double shift had just ended for the day. You'd been getting more and more of those as of late and you had a feeling it was the Emperor's way of punishing you. He hadn't killed you so at least there was that.

Walking down the hall you stretch. It was a long shift and it left your body sore and mind tired. Heading back to your room to get some well deserved rest you stop when you see some of your friends on shift. Ones you hadn't been able to catch up with for awhile.

"Hey." You greet tiredly as you lean against a wall to stop and talk to them. Your mask hung from your belt and they removed their own masks to stop and chat with you. As Steve hands you a rations bar you smile and begin eating it greatful. You had missed lunch and were starving. Beginning to laugh as Steve said a joke they all suddenly passed dead silent. As they stiffen and straighten some reaching for their masks you feel a hand grip your wrist.

"What are you doing out of formation?" A familiar voice questions and turning you see Hunter. You smile at him and tuck the ration bar away for later.

"Oh Golden Guard." You greet knowing how he hated anyone calling him his real name when it came to the field. "These are my friends. I was just saying goodnight." You explain quickly. You hadn't seen Hunter since his episode but you'd kept your word and stayed silent about it. You doubt even Belos knew what happened that day. Simply taking your word and leaving it at that since you were loyal and had never lied to him before.

"You have a mission with me. They need to get back in uniform and go back to work before I report them for treason." He states harshly making you blink in surprise.

"Woah Hunter thats-" You start but he turns sharply. His mask is angled at you and for once you feel scared of the man behind the mask. Something that had never happened before.

"It's Golden Guard." He retorts harshly and you nod feeling guilty at saying his real name. But still you were exhausted, you needed to rest. You were in no condition to do another mission and your friends clearly agreed.

"Respectfully Golden Guard Sir.(Y/N) just pulled a double shift you can't make them do another mission they need to get some-" One tried to plea your case as you were incapable of saying no to Hunter but he cuts them off.

"Talking back is insubordination. I suggest you stick to your lane soldier. (Y/N) and I are higher ranked than any of you and one wrong word to Emperor Belos could stain your reputation permanently." He threatens as his grip on your hand increases. You hiss and he pauses but remains firm.

"Hunter enough." You scold trying to make him stop but he simply tugs at your arm pulling you along. As you stumble down the hallway his grip never loosening you look back at your friends. They look away placing their masks back on before going on with their shifts. Steve giving you an apologetic shrug before you turn a corner and loose sight of them.

"Hunter?" You question but he remains silent. "Hunter." Stating his name instead of asking it he glances back at you, golden mask emotionless.

"The Emperor wants you on another mission. If you come with me you can rest on the air float while I drive. Otherwise you might get assigned somewhere where you could get hurt." He admits quietly and you hum rubbing at your eyes.

"Thankyou but you know treating my friends that way wasn't kind. You could have just told me." You hum and he simply swallows before looking away.

"I'm looking out for you." Is all he states and you nod letting yourself get dragged along. You notice the way his grip tightened when you said friends but you let it be. Hunter was just protective right? There was nothing to worry about...

Yandere Hunter Headcanons (After “Hollow Mind”)

Also, I should disclaim I have yet to watch “Labyrinth Runners”, so don’t expect this to be 100% accurate to that)

Okay so…trauma, right?

Poor boy came running to you almost immediately, cuddling you, breathing heavily, & spewing random nonsense that you couldn’t understand.

All you could understand is that Hunter was stressed & crying in your arms. But you comforted him. No, really! Just you being there & whispering “it’s going to be okay…” made him at least gain back a little of his sanity. After all, his life had just fallen apart. It was all a lie. But at least you were there for him.

After calming down, Hunter lived with you. He wasn’t going to leave, & you had no idea why. Whenever you asked the golden guard just went back to his panicked state, screaming & crying for you to not send him back—for you to not tell anyone he’s living with you!

This was for your own safety. Hunter would snap if you ever got hurt in a time like this.

He also tries to avoid everything moon, sun, or star-related. It remind him of “The Collector” kid that he saw in Belos’ mindscape. He also avoids anything that has to do with the Emperors Coven.

On a more yandere note, Hunter becomes much more possessive of you after these events, following you everywhere you go, actively fighting people you try to get near you, controlling your shopping, & keeping you home for as long as he can.

You’re all he has left & he’s not going to lose you! His mind is already broken, without you it will completely shatter.

Hunter also gets more clingy, holding you tight & keeping himself very close to you.

Unlike the Hunter you knew before, this Hunter was no longer afraid to shed blood. & he has. If anyone did so much as give you a half-hearted insult they’re blood & bones would be spread across the streets the next day.

Of course, Hunter calms down at some point, but he’s not fully healed. Don’t expect him to be as lenient with those who wrong you as he was before.

The man you’ve been avoiding since that blessing in disguise of a day off. When you woke up that day it had become apparent what happened the night before. The moment you had realized that you rushed out of bed, left some cash/snails to pay for the inn bill and left. But little did you know the certain coven head was already awake.

Next few days were filled with paranoia. You served as guard captain under Belos so you had no reason to be paranoid that much but for some reason, you felt so insecure, like you were being watched.

One while doing you rounds, kikimora you were called down for whatever reason. So you head down to her office and greeted with the one the only Adrian Fucking Graye Vernworth.

“Holy fucking shit, no way.”

You think, as you enter. Kikimora gives a quick relay on why you were called here, “If you had not heard, the illusion head master was recently attacked, and has asked emperor Belos for a private guard, you have received that pleasure” She pauses to look at papers “Your shifts begin... tomorrow. You will receive a new schedule tonight. Do you understand?” You say yes in fear of what would happen if you refused.

The next few days were anxious to say the least. “Does he like remember what happened on that day or like no?” you pondered. You were doing rounds around his area, until accidently running into a corner. You go to turn back but you are greeted with a looming shadow of none other then the coven head himself, Adrian

“Hello sire, how may I be of service of you as of right now.” You say with a bit of a quiver in your voice. “Yes, you can be of service of right now” “How so?” You question “Give me a kiss” He says bluntly with a smile “Excuse me sire?”

“Did I not make myself clear? I said give me a kiss, not much maybe a peck on the cheek” At this point you’re trying to excuse yourself, without making it uncomfortable “Would you excuse me sire I-” “I said give me a kiss, not much, at least a peck on the cheek. After all you wouldn’t want a little lie about you sleeping with coven head for benefit running around now, would you?” Well shit, you were stuck now.

With no other options, you give him what he wants, a small peck on the cheeks, he waits for a moment then, moves out of your way, letting you know that you’re off duty for the rest of your day. He follows to your quarters, and lets you rest there. “Maybe a nap would do me some good...yeah that sounds nice.” You head to sleep.

Meanwhile with Adrian, he feels like he’s just coming down from heaven. A kiss from his beloved. That night he saw you being cool in solitude and had a taste of you was when he fell in love for sure. He had been stalking making sure you were okay for quite a while and with that little sob story of him getting hurt and a illusions of bruises and such. He had scored the jackpot. With that little kiss of yours, you had just confirmed his delusions.

You did love him, he was going to make sure of it. He has no intention of giving up.

Tw: GN!reader, Yandere themes, Obsessive behaviours, Stalking, Unhealthy idolisation, Unhealthy relationship, Drugging via magic, Implied reckless behaviours, Slight manipulation, Mentions of isolation, Delusional mindset, Implied past grooming.

• It was at IFWOT, that they have first laid their dark peppermint irises on you. You were extremely shy, more so than them. No matter how many times Eda tried to drag you to meet them, you kept on running back to hide into one of the boxes like a scared kit into its own burrow. Which was endearing to them, to say the least. It took a lot of convincing and bribing with apple blood, on the troublemaker’s part to get you to cave in and introduce yourself.

• Before the trials took place, they were surprised to know that you didn’t attend any school for that matter. You -instead- were tutored by a senior member of the Emperor’s coven. In hopes of taking their place and to grace your family’s name by joining the well-respected coven. Honestly, they began to sympathise with you. All alone, with high burdens on your shoulders, and sheltered from the isle only to fulfil this sole purpose. They knew what it felt like, otherwise they wouldn’t bother to attend this event in the first place.

• “I will be fine, I promise. Eda, I’ve seen your eyes on that student. Go partner with them, if you’re interested in them. I’ll work with Malik.” With that being said, you and the boy from the plant coven joined forces. From afar, Raine couldn’t help but fret about you. It was unwise of them to jump to conclusions, yet you do not seem like the offensive type to them.

• “Nah, do not worry about them. They may seem frail, but I am very well aware not to underestimate them. They have magic like no other. I have seen it before, trust me.” Before they could inquire further about it, the challenges had began. “Fine then. Let’s win the blue ribbon, shall we.” The celeste haired witch smirked blithely. “You bet, we will.”

• They were impressed and shocked at the extent of your magic. Your manipulation of the shadows -akin to holding the strings of a marionette- were working together with the movements of the flora in complete sync. Thus, recreating the daunting structure of a slitherbeast.

• Raine firmly believes that shadow magic is complimentary to your person. Elusive, sneaky, and hidden from plain sight. Neither they or Eda were upset that they have lost the round, if anything the ginger playfully jabbed them in the chest with a crooked grin. “I told you so.”

• Despite the hectic competition that day, Raine throughly enjoyed their time with you and Eda. Although they haven’t won the blue ribbon, it was sufficient for them to see a smile gracing your soft features. At the mere thought, their warm brown visage has flushed red in embarrassment. Titan, Eda will tease them endlessly. If she heard a gist about their blooming crush on the timid witch. ‘It has been only a day, for Titan’s sake! Get a hold of yourself, Raine!’

• Years has passed since then and their bonds with the owl lady and the shadow witch has strengthened. The three were best friends doing all sorts of things, from watching their favourite movies together to running away from fire bees in a fit of impish laughter. It was all fun, until you had disappeared for an inexplicable reason.

• That made both of their hearts drop in worry, especially the bard witch. Which fuelled their drive to find you and protect you from whatever indoctrination the Emperor has addled your brain with. They absolutely know with all their heart, that if they didn’t act -as soon as possible- then you will be truly gone forever. By the Titan, they couldn’t let that happen. For their mind can’t even come close to comprehending a life without you in it.

• Raine definitely falls into the delusional, obsessive, and overprotective category. They are utterly enamoured with the idea of you and with your general presence. A hopeless romantic, you might say. Anything you have in mind, they would commit to it in a bat pun very much intended of an eye so long you aren’t harmed in the end.

• At first, Raine is hesitant to approach you. They do not wish to overwhelm you with their overbearing affection. Instead you might feel lingering eyes on your figure, but you needn’t be afraid. They are making sure you are staying safe, they thought. Whilst taking care of your assailants in a quick manner.

• They very much disparage the idea of murder, so they would resort to placate the perpetrators into sleep most of the time. In severe cases, to a state of full induced coma. If they personally felt the assaulters imposed a great danger on their darling’s well-being. Raine forgives all, but the harm of their beloved. That is a line if crossed, won’t end well for anyone involved.

• Surprisingly, Raine is excellent at masking their maelstrom of intense feelings. For the most part, their darling would not find any of their quirks strange. If anything it is understandable, as the Boiling Isle is a treacherous place to be in. It is only when you accidentally endanger yourself, or find yourself in the clutches of peril that you’ll pick on their desperation and obsessive tendencies.

• Their lanky arms bringing you closer to their warm chest in a suffocating embrace, whilst they coo ardently about how they will do better at ensuring your safety. This is a promise they will continue to uphold. Even if they have to lose a limb or two in the process, so long they are blessed by your existence.

• At this point, you may as well be the titan in the bard’s perspective. You’ll be bombarded with hymns, gifts, and songs in your honour. All of it is laced with heartfelt spirit and honeyed words of worship. Raine would be over the moon and crying with sheer joy, if you reciprocated with your own. They’re even willing to perform duets with you, for it is their dream come true.

• Raine is considered a benevolent yandere to come across, as the farthest they’ll do to you is by putting you to sleep and even then it is not frequent. Only, when you’re being extremely hysterical and hurting yourself. They’d rather die a thousand times, before they lay their hands on you in a malicious manner. Despite that, it is the same paranoia that makes the sky blue hued witch threatening.

• Anyone that isn’t them, Eda, Luz, and the members of CATTs will be under the bard’s scrutinising watch. Which will sabotage your relationship with other witches, especially if they were from the Emperor’s coven. To prevent it from happening, they took a precautionary measure that they hope you’ll enjoy. Raine would entice you to like indoor activities, with the objective of keeping you away from the external world as much as possible. Doing so, would keep their incessant fear at bay and you blissfully content.

• They know what they’re doing is morally reprehensible, but due to their obsession their mental state begins deteriorating. So much they start normalising their behaviours, as the norm. They just want to spoil and shield you from the world that wants to harm you in the worst ways. Why can’t you see, he is devoted to everything you are and aren’t?

GOLDEN GUARD | HUNTER

Platonic & Romantic Headcanons – Yandere

WARNING: abuse of power, implied stalking, references to violence + death, toxic mindset.

PLATONIC:

While the friendship is the subject of many happy rants at first, Hunter comes to regard it as a secret after Belos makes an ominous comment about the person distracting Hunter from his work. Any mention of his friend made in his presence now causes him to become defensive, as he considers it a threat.

Hunter does not trust Kikimora, in particular, and suspects that she would snitch on him to Belos and have his friend either imprisoned or petrified by the next day.

He wants his role in the Emperor's Coven and his life with his friend to be independent of each other. While he does brag about his status as the Golden Guard on the off chance that it will be seen as impressive, the truth is that Hunter worries about his friend seeing him as nothing beyond a title.

A part of him knows that he should never introduce Belos or the Emperor's cronies to the relationship more than he has by accident, but his fear of not being there to help pushes him to order his most loyal guards to tell him before anyone else if his friend comes near Kikimora or the palace.

With his habit of projecting his own interests and beliefs onto his friend, it is difficult for Hunter to admit to any wrongdoing without first explaining why his attack on a Hexside student was justified after the student called his friend a rude nickname.

He views apologising as an admission of failure and hopes that all will be forgiven by the time of the next meeting. If it is not, Hunter assumes that abandonment is imminent and throws away his logic in a desperate scramble for reconciliation.

When Hunter is driven to desperation, he makes amends at the cost of his own health. He fights people to obtain items that he can use as a peace offering, interrogates civilians if his friend is avoiding him, and sends Flapjack to scout for Coven officials who may interfere.

Hunter does not sleep or eat much during this time, and he treats this misguided mission as though his life will end if he fails to complete it.

Unrealistic expectations have been placed on Hunter for so long that he places them on himself and others too, oftentimes not thinking about it when he expects his friend to drop everything and come with him at a moment's notice. Luz notices the tension this causes and gives Hunter advice on how to better handle the situation, which he has no intention of following.

After telling Luz to stay out of his personal affairs, Hunter broods over his friend spending time with other people when he trusts no one else and expresses this by way of condescending remarks meant to inspire guilt.

ROMANTIC:

Hunter has a conflicting self-image marred by both pride in his accomplishments and uncertainty in his right to exist. As a result, he has little confidence in the relationship and tells himself that he needs to fight for every second of it. Each conversation with his partner may be the last if Hunter does not say the right answers, and anyone who talks or laughs while he is near his partner is talking and laughing about him.

Those who make negative comments about the relationship are that much closer to feeling the business end of the Golden Guard's staff.

The Night Market is a known hub for scams and seedy behaviour, and should his partner wish to go, Hunter objects on the grounds of it being too dangerous and asks about the purpose of the visit. If the one selling knock-off goods or dealing illegal services is his partner, he demands that the practice be quit at once but refuses to order an arrest. Hunter, instead, arrests anyone who threatens to report the business, and when the other guards and members of the Emperor's Coven question him, he assures them that he is only targeting Belos's enemies.

The lie edges closer to becoming true in his mind, cobbling together excuses to hide the fact that his most frequent nightmare is watching his partner rot in a cell or turn to stone because he made a mistake.

Hunter is used to an environment where every movement and each word has the potential to determine whether he leaves the room with a fresh scar or not. He is desperate to believe that his partner is not like that, but he cannot stop overthinking the tiniest bits of conflict and convincing himself that it is all deliberate.

As a result, Hunter apologises for seemingly no reason and engages in reckless behaviour to prove that he is worth the effort, such as claiming to be an expert in a field he knows nothing about and looking for fights so he can demonstrate his ability to protect.

Hunter craves genuine companionship but at the same time doubts it, having been stuck with the rampant backstabbing among Coven Heads for so long that he struggles to see kindness as anything more than transactional. Every step that he takes with his partner must be earned in his opinion, and to prove himself, Hunter relies on the one skill his training has honed: servitude.

Whether it means duelling someone who is not enough of a bother to warrant it or bullying a shopkeeper into giving something for free, Hunter believes that his worth starts and ends with how much he can do for his partner.

Soon enough his gremlin tendencies make him fiercely protective of you. He sees you as his precious human and will do whatever it takes to keep you safe, even if it means resorting to extreme measures or confronting potential threats...after all he comes from a powerful family.

As much as he hates manipulating you, Edric can use his wit and charisma to win you over. He may exploit your emotions and vulnerabilities to maintain control over the relationship, ensuring that they remain loyal to him.

Soon enough he becomes possessive and jealous at the mere thought of you interacting with other witches, Except for his family, He may monitor your activities closely, trying to limit their interactions with anyone he perceives as an enemy.

Edric’s gremlin nature leads him to exert control over the reader’s life. He may try to dictate their choices, isolate them from friends and family, and make decisions on their behalf, all in the name of protecting their relationship.

Edric’s love for the reader is intense, but it can also have a dark side. He may engage in morally questionable actions to fulfill their desires or eliminate perceived threats to their bond, often justifying his actions as acts of love.

Yandere relationships can be emotionally turbulent, and Edric is no exception. He may alternate between showering the reader with affection and becoming possessive or controlling, leaving them on a constant emotional rollercoaster.

What about possessed Hunter following Reader around? Stalking? Yes, probably, but he likes to think of it more as protecting.

After Hunter had forced Belos out of his head he had run away from all of you. Despite how you all reached out for him and tried to bring him back, tried to take him home, he refused. He claimed he'd lose control again, he'd accidentally hurt you. Then he disappeared into the woods.

Now weeks later he stood meters away. Staring from the darkness and fog with glowing eyes. The porch light flickered as you stared back at him. Holding your breath refusing to blink because he might disappear, because this might all be a dream your hand lets go of the porch railing as you got closer.

Wandering towards him drawn in by his hypnotizing blue eyes you shiver. Your thin pajamas and bare feet do nothing to ward off the cold or the intensity of his glowing gaze. Feeling your heart speed up as your foot squishes into the wet grass as you get closer to him you wanted nothing more than to run straight into Hunters arms.

"..." Taking your first breath since you saw him it burns your lungs. Yet somehow it all still feels like a dream.

The horns and claws and other disturbing things Philip had done to him remained despite the parasite who put them there being gone. You and the others had searched tirelessly for him for ages but he was from the Emperor's Coven, he had training you all didn't.

You thought he was gone for good.

And yet here he was.

Staring at him eyes watering as you step closer your hand reaches out towards his skinny silhouette. He shrinks away from your reaching hand, your help. Dipping his head horns pointed to the ground in fear he tries to run back into the woods to hide away in the thick bushes. You weren't supposed to see him, he didn't want to be seen did he?

"Hunter...?" You whisper softly wanting to see him again, wanting him close even if he's not the same. Hoping, pleading he won't leave you again. He remains bent over, almost huddled into a ball as his arms wrap around himself but he's listening. He isn't leaving yet. Sitting down in the damp grass near him and moving your head it almost touches the ground as you look at him. His blue eyes catch yours.

Scooting closer he does the same but pauses as you suddenly shiver. The wet ground soaks into your clothes and freezes your body and exposed palms. As a puff of white leaves your lips you realize how cold it is and how Hunters been alone out here.

Tilting his head the one long strand of hair dangles in his face as he observes you. Hesitantly he takes a step forward into the light as he creeps closer like a shadow. Seeing the green horns sprout from his head in the moonlight and Hunters new deeper scars from Beloses possession you swallow but refuse to be scared.

This was Hunter, your Hunter no matter what.

"Are... Are you In any pain?" You question breaking the silence that had settled between you. And to your relief he nods no before taking another step closer. You're shivering now but it's not him. You're not scared, you could never be scared. Not of Your Hunter. And he was still your Hunter. "Hunter what happened? Where have you been?" You ask softly but he stays quiet. "... Hunter." You beg as he settles next to you.

"I'm... I'm okay." His voice sounds hoarse, deeper. But it isn't Beloses. This is Hunter maybe not the same Hunter but still Hunter. He scoots closer to you snuggling into your side and while he seems hesitant thinking you're going to move away you don't. A clawed hand reaches out and you lean into it before another shiver racks your body. Hunter pulls away but his eyes widen seeing the goosebumps on your flesh, his hand ghosting over your cold flesh with a worried expression.

"I'm not scared." You promise.

"... I know." He answers back. Taking off the jacket he made with Gus for his costume the night Belos took him over he wraps it around you before pulling you closer.

"Where have you been?" You ask leaning into his chest as he hums pulling you closer still.

"Doesn't matter." He states as his claws go to your hair, gently tussling it and scratching at your scalp in a way that makes you melt into him.

"Hunter..." You beg but he softly shushes you wrapping the jacket tighter so you're warm despite the biting cold.

"I never wanted to leave you... I never did... I promise I never did..." He whispers as he cradles your head to his chest, trading a promise for a promise.

Listening to his beating heart, feeling his soft breathing your slowly lulled to sleep.

And he meant it. Every word. While you never knew he was there he had always been close, watching from the shadows and following after you. After all he had to. He had to Protect you. He promised he would. Picking you up cradling you to his chest and kissing your forehead he stalks off into the woods taking you with him.

"I'll protect you." He swears. And he would.

Both women are in their late thirties early forties with no children as of yet

Until they meet you

Luz was the first one to meet you

You were at the palismen forest meeting with Hunter to get your own magical companion when she bumped into you

You apologized profusely, worried shed yell at you, but pleasantly surprised when she brushed it off

Hunter saw you two interacting and introduced the two of yall

Immediately you two hit it off, bonding over your mutual love for Azura

When you got your own palismen (ur fav animal, I'm not choosing for u) you said good bye to luz and flew away

Luz watched you go with a faint smile on her face, you reminded her of herself when she was younger

Luz went home and told amity all about you

Amity was intrigued with you and decided she must meet you herself

So a week later you "accidentally" bumped into Amity at the library

She noticed you holding all the Azura books, barely able to see over them, and offered to help you carry them

When the two of you dropped the books down on an unoccupied table, you noticed a picture and amity and luz fall from her pocket

Your eyes widened when you realized that this was the amity luz had mentioned a few times

Amity smiled when you pointed out her picture, asking if she was Luz's wife

Before she could respond, you bombarded her with questions about both the human realm and humans, never having gotten the chance to go yourself

Amity gently placed her hand on your shoulder and cut you off, saying she and Luz would be happy to answer any questions you had

Your smile grew wide as you nodded vigorously, happy to know that, unlike other adults in your life, she didn't reject you or shut you down

The two of you agreed to meet up at their place in a day or two

As soon as amity got home, she told Luz the good news

Both of them were beyond happy

Any attempts to have children (whether magically or by adopting) had failed in the past, and they saw you as a chance to start a family

They just didn't know if you would agree or not

So they planned to slip sleeping nettles in your drink when you visited, and keep you as their own child

Little did they know, you would have been overjoyed at the opportunity of having loving parents, considering how you had none of your own

So when you went over to their place, you were completely unsuspecting

It went really well for the first half hour, then they have you a drink, and moments later, you collapsed

When you woke up you were in a room not your own, with the door locked and your magic restrained (just to be safe)

Then Luz and Amity walked in, each sitting on each side of the bed next you

They explained how you were going to be stuck with them (preferably forever, but they didn't say that) and said they were adopting you, whether you liked it or not ( ok they didn't say that exactly but it was implied)

Instead of fighting back or getting upset, you simply smiled and slowly let yourself relax, relieved that they didn't have worse intentions and happy that someone actually wanted you

Amity and Luz were surprised, then ecstatic

They hugged you close, happy to finally have a child of their own

You were absolutely perfect for them

"Don't worry mi hija, we'll keep you safe,"

"Yes, you'll never be in danger or lonely again, now that your ours ~ "

Yandere Hunter the golden guard x Reader Headcannons ~(Romantic)~

(Someone wanted more yan! Hunter/Golden Guard stories & now this exists,

(Anyway, sorry for all the misspellings/bad grammar, I can be pretty bad at English-)

This golden dummy doesn’t know how to express his feelings at first. At all. He’s never had such strong feelings before…ever.

As a result of this, Hunter may seem awkward & distant. He doesn’t want to be, but he’s just just so unsure if you’ll like the real him! What should he hide? What should he let you see? What should he do, he doesn’t want to lose you!

After awhile of being friends with you, Hunter calms down, slowly learning that he can trust you to accept the real him, flaws & all.

Oh, but the golden guard had already embarrassed himself multiple times trying to find out what kind of person you were into. He has learned not to trust Edric’s & Emira’s advice-

(Not really Hcs, but I wanted to give examples:)

To name some situations where this may happen: The golden guard was nervous & desprate to impress you when Edric gives him some advice! The young Blight told Hunter that he should use his title & power to impress you! This resulted in the golden guard bragging about the Emperor’s Coven & his position in it to you for about 3 days straight. Needless to say, that didn’t really work as he intended it to.

The other time was when this poor lovesick boy got some advice from Emira, who told the golden guard to simply show off his knowledge about certain topics, especially ones you liked! Normally this would be good advice, however Hunter took this in a more black-&-white context, bragging about knowing oh-so-much about topics & things he had absolutely 0 knowledge about, inevitably embarrassing himself in the end. Hearing him excitedly go on & on about topics he loved/found fascinating was cute, though.

(Now back to your scheduled hcs.)

After realizing he could trust you, his obsession subsided a little…before getting much, much worse. Hunter began doing reckless things to protect you, refusing to leave your side no matter what, even if it meant lethal consequences.

Hunter keeps photos of you around his room, mostly for emotional support. He knows deep down that it’s not right, but…you’re just so lovely. He can barely believe someone like you even exists, much less even breath in his direction.

Oh yeah, that’s another thing, I’d like to think that this man is so used to being manipulated & lied to that he can barely believe how much you give him…how genuine it is, too.

You could just buy him ice cream during one of your hangouts & the golden guard thinks it’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for him.

I’d also like to think that Hunter often vents to Flapjack about how pretty you are.

Seriously, it’s all praise.

For the most part, Hunter doesn’t enjoy killing others, it’s almost always just bluffing. Unless it’s someone who hurt you…then it’s straight to the conformitormium.

Hunter often plays pretend & writes down you guys dating, or getting married, or whatever he’s in the mood for. Whenever he’s sad, he reads it & feel better, now having hope of his fiction being a reality.

On a note involving his interests in certain topics, he constantly gushes about them to you because you listen to him! You make him actually feel valuable!

Though, after you came into his life…Hunter suddenly gained a new interest in romance.

•Darius is not happy he has to explain to Hunter, a 16-year-old, about love & dating.
