My issue with Thor not ‘realizing’ why Loki was acting off in Avengers 1 isn’t that Thor didn’t recognise Loki was acting unlike himself—Thor did note that—or that Thor didn’t figure out what was wrong—he did try asking—it’s more along the lines of Thor giving up, and that he accepted Loki was bad now within two days while knowing something was off when Thor himself behaved just as bad for much longer before without any specific compromising event.
#Thor was happy go kill for so long and Loki waited for Thor to get better and then Thor KNOWS something is up#and he still accepts Loki is evil now and never questions or visits Loki in prison again#he moped around about it because of duty and depression but that he had such little faith in Loki#like either his little brother really did go mad out of jealousy and rage AND is permanently like that with no resolution between them#it’s ridiculous#I like the Thor in my head who never believed Loki had actually gone mad and went after the infinity stones bc he suspected#the one that would not only trust Loki to get them off Asgard in TDW but knew Loki had the throne after and let it be that way#bc he knows his brother and wouldn’t stop believing Loki can ‘get better’ even if he’d truly gone mad#like I get that Thor in Avengers 1 would have been conflicted and could’ve taken everything at face value#Loki was DEAD and now he’s not of course Thor isn’t going to be thinking straight#it’s easy to look at Loki and assume he spent a year plotting revenge after faking his death#but Thor had time after to cool down and only gave Loki a chance in TDW when there was no other option#like did he genuinely think Loki will try to kill him#is Thor scared of Loki now or what#Thor’s spending so much time thinking of what he’s lost that he develops depression but doesn’t ever voice or support the idea that maybe#Loki was forced to do the invasion#AFTER he asks ‘who controls the would-be king’ like come on Thor just ask a follow-up question#Thor autistic king distracted by ‘YOUR father’ discourse fr#T-T#I simply don’t think Thor would have given up on Loki even if Loki stabbed him sorry#it wouldn’t even be bc he’s naive it’d be because he knows and loves his brother#and he’d keep hoping for a change of heart#he wouldn’t ditch the issue unless it was to go under the radar and that’s never explicitly implied#unfortunately#:(

Loki Meets Peter
Tumblr media
I hate how long I've been gone from writing and posting, but to explain would be a story in itself. Long short, life sucks, desire for enjoyments was gone, and I'm refinding myself and my writing. I look forward to writing more here and there until I have more time again. It's shorter than I prefer to write, but I had an hour only to spare.
This story is based from a meme I saw on TikTok that I can't seem to find again, but wrote from what I remembered with my own flare to it. Divider courtesy of @firefly-graphics. Make sure to check them out!
Tumblr media
Pairing: Loki x f!reader
Summary: Loki comes back to the compound only to meet Spiderman. Basically, Peter being Peter and Loki's reaction to it.
Warnings: none, kinda fluffy cute
Word Count: 706
Tumblr media
You were so happy to have Loki home, you could barely peel yourself from his side after the Bifrost had vanished.  He'd been gone off world with Thor for over a month dealing with a conflict that was facing Asgard.  Part of his release from life in the dungeons had been contingent on using his abilities for good, which for Odin had meant responding when summoned to fight for Asgard instead of its destruction.
A deal you weren't enthusiastic about, but that was a battle for another day.
Right now, you were enjoying just being able to hold his hand as you both walked into the compound.  You knew he'd been healed already before returning home, but you could see the strain in his body language that you'd learned to read.  His shoulders were more tense and tight, spine straighter than normal to hide the fatigue, his face a bit stonier than it normally would be with you around.  You had a relaxing day planned for the two of you, everyone already knowing not to bother you so you could both spend time together after such a time away from one another.
You were halfway down the hall that led to your suite when a door closer to you opened and a small form came out of the room.  Seeing who it was, you feared this could go badly with how tense your God of Mischief was.  It wasn't uncommon for him to snap at someone when he'd come back from Asgard, which was why no one had a problem with you helping him get back into a more amiable mood.
Before you could say anything against it, the boy a few inches taller than you raced over and had his hand stuck towards your man.  "You must be Mr. Loki!  Hi, I'm Peter, Peter Parker.  It's so nice to finally meet you, she's told me so much about you."  Peter's eyes quickly indicated you before staring excitedly at the god before him.  You'd already told Loki about the newest Avenger on your way inside the building so that if they came across each other, it wouldn't be a surprise.  Still, you'd hoped not to have this meeting until tomorrow.
Letting go of your hand after a moment of hesitation, Loki finally shook Peter's hand.  "You must be the one called Spiderman.  I am Loki, of Asgard."
Peter, in his ever inquisitive nature, immediately asked, "I know you're an Avenger too, but, aren't you like... a bad guy?"
Loki, ever the smart mouthed silver-tongued Prince, didn't hesitate to respond, "It varies from moment to moment."
You gave Loki an admonishing look that you knew he saw.  You could see the faint tug of his lips, knowing he wanted to smirk at your response.  "So," Peter dragged out before continuing, "How much do I need to worry?  Like, on a scale of one to ten, one being flicking someone's ear and ten being something horrible like killing puppies and kittens, where are you at right now?"
Loki blinked and you barely held back the giggle that wanted to let loose.  You watched his posture relax ever so slightly and his voice came out with less of its formal tone.  "I would say it is currently about a three."
The boy in front of you both smiled before nodding.  "Cool, could you let me know if it ever gets above a six?"  Looking down at the alert on his watch, Peter looked back up with a more urgent expression.  "I have to go, Happy is waiting to take me over to see Aunt May.  It was nice to meet you!"  With that, the boy rushed away as fast as he could without all out running.
After a moment of staring at Peter as he departed, Loki turned to look at you, amusement shining in his eyes.  "I like the boy of arachnids.  He amuses me greatly."
A wide smile broke out across your face as you tugged him back down the hall again, ready to spoil him.  "I'm glad to hear it, he's a precious bean for sure.  Now let's get to our room, I have everything ready for a bath and a new book of poetry is beside the bed ready for cuddles and reading."

Admit it
☆ Pairing: Loki x Reader
☆ Synopsis: Loki likes you, more than he's liked anyone before, you make him laugh, you intrigue him and he's very comfortable around you, but proud as he is, he won't admit it. So when it turns out you already knew, will he be up to it and confirm it?
☆ Word Count: 4,902
☆ Notes: Loki is in denial about his feelings, as he does.
☆ Warnings: Alcohol consumption. Angry drinking, drunken confessions.
Tumblr media
Loki was a lot of things, a liar, a trickster, a warrior, a sorcerer, a jester, a prince, a god, a hero, once even a villain. His current title, an Avenger... Ironic, really. How just a few years he had tried to kill every single one of them, and now he was part of the team. Although, he could argue that he’s the reason they finally got together in the first place, so it was only fair that now redeemed, he’d be allowed to join the famous team that once (thankfully) stopped his attempt at invading Earth.
Because this way he got to meet you.
You, oh Norns, you. Where could he start? You had been born different, to put it simply, as in you were part of the human population with special traits. Back then, Loki’s most remarkable human was a man with strength and anger issues formidable enough to scar him emotionally. Nowadays, there were sorcerers that could compete with Asgard’s finest, artificially made sentient and intelligent beings, and people with remarkable abilities that came from birth. Like yourself.
You were what Midgard had been addressing as a mutant, which essentially meant that you were born with special abilities. Some had super speed, some had laser eyes, other had super strength or like in your case, could make your way into people’s mind to take peeks into their thoughts. Funny you did not end up in that super school for mutants.
No, you had made your way into the rank of trainees for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. And... somewhere else, but that was subject for another time. You were in a weird in between point right in the middle, you weren’t just a mortal in a suit, but your abilities didn’t stand out as much as for instance the reality warping witch. Not that you minded, quite the contrary, actually.
You were quite a peculiar individual, on one hand you were a very shy and closed off person with most people, you mostly spent your times in the Avengers Facilities you hardly went outside and when you did it was very task focused, meaning if you went shopping you went to get the things you needed and came back, if you were going to meet someone that’s all you did, it was rare you went to stroll around the city or went to big events just because. When brought up, you argued it was simply because crowds meant lots of thoughts and it gave you headaches.
On the other hand, inside the Compound you were bright and bubbly, always friendly and looking seeing you alone was rare, either spar training with Barton, Romanoff or Rogers, assisting Stark and Banner, cooking with Wanda and her tin-man fiancé maybe playing videogames with the young Spider boy and the other Maximoff twin, hearing Thor’s stories, even volunteering to babysit Barton’s youngest child and Stark’s daughter. And... even Loki got his quality time, mostly reading in the library or during training when your schedules aligned. But... for some reason, you seemed to look for his company a lot.
It startled him at first, you approached him once, with a friendly aura he had never seen before, you smiled happily at him asking him to go with you downtown for a coffee. He was going to decline but when he opened his mouth, what came out was...
“Of course. Let me grab a coat...”
You seemed just as surprised as he felt, but your expression quickly shifted into a happy and comforting smile.
“Alright, should I wait for you here?”
He felt his lip curling up into a smirk. Without breaking eye contact, he flicked his wrist and under the sizzling green light he was so familiar with, his black long coat and glasses were conjured on him, as his appearance swapped, his hair turned shorter and brown as beard grew on his face. Your eyes widened big like plates as a soft blush appeared on your cheeks.
“Ready when you are, dove” he smiled, offering you his arm for you to grab.
Your flushed face, staring at him, scanning him.
“A gentleman and a magician, color me impressed” you smiled.
“Oh, no you little mortal, I’m much more than your cheap street wizards” he replied.
“I can see that” you admitted, “but I think I like your hair black.”
He didn’t admit it, but that had been a lot of fun. The conversation had been lighthearted and while at first you had struggled to find common ground, given you both came from very different backgrounds. But once it turned out you had a shared interest in theater and books, you had a nice place to start a conversation.
Then it went on for a while, talking about life and missions, and whatever came to mind. Loki couldn’t remember the last time he had laughed so much, but you seemed to know exactly which buttons to press and how. By the time you had arrived at the coffee shop he had a slight stomachache.
The coffee on its own was so insignificant that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t remember what he ordered that time, but he could recall that conversation no matter how much time it passed.
He had been completely immersed in the conversation, that he hadn’t noticed when the sun set. And the walk under moonlight was even more pleasant, the temperature went down, making you shiver and hide under his arm and coat for extra warmth. It was... scaringly pleasant.
“Doesn’t it bother you that we look like a couple?”
“Given my reputation on earth, rumors of a partner is the least of my concerns,” he shrugged, “just enjoy the warmth.”
“How are you so cozy if you’re a frost giant anyway?” you teased him.
“I’m a magician, remember?” he grinned, “I have many tricks up my sleeve.”
“Yeah,” you said, deviously, “me.”
He never expected the fingernails scratching his upper arm.
“Hehey!”
“Ticklish much?”
“Don’t be foolish” he spat out defensively.
“Loki... I felt the panic ringing like an earthquake alarm” you giggled tapping your temple.
“You’re delusional”
“And you’re ticklish, deadly based on how badly you’re trying to deny it.”
“Very funny.”
“Thanks.”
That was a first, usually, when Loki got a jab to his pride, the other person got a jab to the stomach with his daggers. Loki wasn’t one to take teasing lightly, but it felt inoffensive, like sure, it was meant to get on his nerves, but he couldn’t help but smile at you.
That’s the first time he had a nice time being teased and not just teasing, the warmth on his cheeks felt somewhat comforting. No one had ever felt so easy-going, not fearing his god or royal status or using him as a steppingstone to get to Thor or his parents, not even trying to make him angry, just plain fun.
The rest of the night was just as lovely, it was like none of you wanted it to end, so you prepared tea and chatted in the living room until late hours, when Wilson came to scold you both for not letting him sleep enough and risking his energy for his morning jog and not going to hear the end of it and blah blah blah.
From then on it was getting to know each other.
Thor got to tease him because now it was Loki filling your day with Asgardian stories. But you’d defend him saying you enjoyed listening to both talk about Asgard. Somehow, you always made the brothers get along. Thor talked about his parties and friends, while Loki narrated the most exquisite pieces of Asgardian literature, recited poetry, and made you laugh until you cried with every prank he ever played on Asgard. Both could talk for hours about their battle anecdotes, night could fall, and they would still be arguing about how events went down while you listened somehow not getting tired of the brothers’ antics.
Training was another place you got to know each other better.
“You sure you want to fight me, little mortal?” he teased you, “Is not quite a wise decision.”
“I’ll take that risk” you replied with a wink that made Loki feel more things that he’d ever admit.
You circled around the training mat for a few minutes, and that’s when Loki got his first to see your powers in action. You weren’t particularly strong or fast. But your mind reading gave you a heads up of every attack, so Loki had a hard time landing a blow. You, on the other hand, got to hit him a couple of times, not that it caused him any harm... well, other than his ego.
Later on, Loki learned why he had trouble fighting you, Roger and Romanoff had designed your fighting style to be evasive and adaptable, focusing on compensating your lack of physical strength with good reflexes and responses. Although rather than making him angry, it made him admire you, and want to learn to fight you.
That made you soon be sent in teams for missions together. Loki’s illusion and deception mastery to infiltrate you both, and your powers to extract intel without even needing to engage in direct conversation.
“Alright darling, I’m on my way to the servers, did you get the code?” Loki asked through the communicator.
“Not yet, I have yet to find O’Donnell, he was supposed to be in tech develop but the room empty, they said he went for a coffee break” you whispered back.
“Yeah, what kind of idiot just stops everyone if they’re not caffeinated enough?”
“Ah, that’s low, that’s hurtful.”
“Thank you.”
“Wait!” you whispered, indicating Loki you had found him, “Professor O’Donnell!”
Loki slowed his pace to pay extra attention to what he heard over the com, you should be alright given Loki’s illusions were unbeatable, he made you look exactly like the general in command on the central. Your word was meant to be unquestioned, Loki himself chose to appear as another lab attendant, mainly to not stand out. But he still held his breath as you interacted with anyone, as low as it was, risk to getting caught was not zero.
“Yes, General?” the investigator asked.
“Are the reports ready?”
“Ah, yes, they are almost done General!” the other voice said. “They should be done later on tomorrow!”
That was a problem, you needed a trigger a certain train of thought, and he was derailing from the subject. And Loki was already by the hall, just a few meters away from his destination.
“Well, that’s unfortunate,” you said.
With the illusion over you, your voice sounded deep and intimidating. Loki stopped by a corner to hear, his breath stopping as he felt eyes on, looking at him weirdly for standing by the door.
“Maybe I can stop by later by your office to see some advanced and get some work ahead with what’s already done. Would that work for you?”
Bingo.
“Ah, o-of course General!”
“Alright, I’ll try meeting you after your break.”
Loki soon heard footsteps, detecting your pace extra rushed and a close door.
“1-9-9-3” Loki heard.
Loki walked to the door, and typed in the code, which opened with a beep!
“Took you long enough” Loki teased you.
“Sorry, he focused on the work, I had to bring him to the office, so he’d think of the code”.
“Right, but I got dirty looks for standing by my own door like an idiot.”
“Not all of us are masters of manipulation” you whined. “Just get the data and meet me outside.”
You seemed to be an unbeatable team.
Loki felt comfortable around you. With time, comfort turned into friendship, which eventually turned friendship into fascination. He just loved learning about you, training and improving together, sharing secrets, developing inside jokes and codes that only you two understood, and he loved hearing you laugh.
And soon, Loki couldn’t stand being away from you.
“Darling, I’m thinking getting a drink by that coffee shop we like, would you like to come?” he asked, leaning on your door frame.
“A-Ah... sorry Loki-Doki, I can’t right now... This report is taking me longer than I thought” you declined as you stretched on your chair. “How’s yours going?”
“I haven’t finished either, turns out you can’t stretch much of infiltrating an auction without dozing off” he shrugged, and smiled at your shock, “I was hoping some coffee would wake me up.”
“I don’t know, Loki... I really don’t want to come back to work on this.”
“Come on, love” he insisted, “It’ll be my treat.”
You thought about it, and Loki felt a delightful warmth running through his chest when he saw the smile reluctantly make its way on your face, your resolve breaking under the tempting offer.
“And maybe a big cookie...?” you asked innocently.
He flicked his wrist making his body be engulfed by his magic, to transform him into his now recurrent disguise, it was subtle, but it was impressive what changing his hair to short blonder hair and a beard did to conceal his presence.
“Is there any other way to have coffee?”
The whole walk you protested, calling Loki a bad influence and fearing you wouldn’t be able to finish in time unless you pulled an all-nighter, and how you couldn’t comprehend how Loki could be so chill about not handing it over in time. Loki just laughed at you whiny rant only making your cheeks reddened as you continue scolding him for laughing at you about something so serious.
You had already arrived at the coffee shop and ordered while Loki went to save a seat for you to keep chatting and drinking while you chatted.
“Thanks for treating me this time, darling” Loki said as you handed him his cup, “but next time I’ll be the one to pay.”
“It’s okay, I just needed something heavier to work tonight” you groaned as you took a big sip of your coffee.
“It’s just a report, love” Loki reminded you, “they won’t kick us out if one of their 18 reports they’ll get anyway.”
“No, they won’t kick you out!” you snapped, “you are worth keeping. I’m just a low-tier mutant.”
“Ah, right, because there’s so many of them around, willing to work for good and keep up with S.H.I.E.L.D.’s demanding regime and lifestyle.”
“There’s more of us than actual than a god magician prince, it’s just the trifecta of «we must keep him! » and that’s without mentioning you’re the little brother of one of the 6 Og Avengers! They’d be insane not to keep you regardless of what you do!”
“Like going rouge and trying to conquer Earth... again?” Loki said flatly, “Half of the time, I can’t tell if they actually want me to be here, or if I’m just being contained to be able to prevent, I plot against Midgard. I’m not an Avenger, I’m just a high-class prisoner.”
“Shut your mouth, because that’s not true, Loki” you shushed him, placing a finger on his mouth, “I know that’s not true.”
Loki gave you a weird look, you were very touchy with everyone in the Compound, but, in the Compound, you weren’t one to be so physical in public.
“I’ve asked everyone in the Compound what they think of you, and... they say they like you, but...”
A waitress interrupted you to bring the freshly out of the oven jumbo chocolate chip cookies, which you thanked her rather loudly and kept on staring at the spot where she had stood, after she had gone back to work behind the counter.
“But...?” Loki inquired, getting your attention back.
“But what?” you asked innocently.
It was then that Loki noticed the pink tint on your cheeks.
“Do you feel alright, sweetheart?”
“Yes, of course... what was I talking about?” you said, grabbing your cup with sloppy hands
“... They said they liked me...” Loki reminded you, wary of your moves.
“Ah, right, right, right!” you said. “But I wasn’t satisfied, so I peeked in their minds, and they thought they could trust you when you first joined, but they think trusting you was the best decision they ever made, because you’re quite a softie.”
“A softie?!” Loki gasped indignantly.
“Yes, cute right? They think you turned into a softie, but I think you’ve always been, but we broke down your defenses, and you actually like us too...” you said before bursting into giggles.
Loki just denied such claims, watching you giggle and laugh as his anger quickly subdued to curiosity and concern with your current state.
“You are though! Like when you helped Peter with his literature by translating old Asgardian novels for him. Or how you gifted Clint and Kate an old set of bow and arrow made by the dwarves...”
Loki rolled his eyes as you kept listing things Loki had done for everyone, while he looked at you drag words, your silly mood, your pink cheeks, and clumsy motions... He knew these symptoms.
“Hey! That’s mine!” you yelled as he grabbed your cup and took off the lid to sniff the drink. “Don’t drink it!”
The smell was faint compared to what he knew in Asgard, but this was undeniably alcohol.
“Sweetheart, what are you drinking?”
“It’s Irish coffee, it’s very bitter...” you pouted.
“This is alcohol,” Loki asked severely, “why on Earth would you drink something like this?!”
You shrunk in your seat like a kid at his scolding, making Loki’s heart ache. He didn’t like seeing you upset, but this wasn’t normal behavior, much less from you.
Loki had only seen you this drunk once before. You had been like this, angry and pressured to push a limit. You had been in an awful mood the whole day, and by the night, you sneaked to the drinks cabinet and drank down half of a wine bottle by the time Loki found you. And just like now, you had gone from angry and stressed to giggly secret-spilling, with the mindset of basically a toddler, that’s how he had learned his brother like doing karaoke nights to cheesy pop songs on dorky Midgardian pajamas and frog feet-shaped slippers and that Stark had Captain America trousers.
But he knew that angry drinking wasn’t a healthy habit, especially on you, who angry drank without pacing or measuring yourself, so you got very drunk, very quick.
“But yeah, we all adore having you around Loki” you babbled “and I agree with Thor, you’re his favorite, you know?”
Now that he didn’t expect, you weren’t much to talk about your feelings. But hearing that made him melt. You were trying to assure him that even his brother loved him, but the implication that you liked him as well made him stupidly happy.
He just smiled and grabbed your hand.
“Come on, love” he said gently, “Let’s get you home.”
Soon he realized you were drunk beyond what he had seen you, you could barely stand up, so with a sigh, Loki kneeled to let you climb on his back giving you a piggyback ride. You shyly accepted given you were not gonna be able to walk on your own.
And it turned out rather nice having you against him with your arms around his neck, you were warm and comfortably resting your head on his shoulder as you giggled while spilling dorky secrets to the young prince. All harmless innocent stuff, but amusing, nonetheless. And it usually came from places of care and concern.
“...And Peter has an Iron-Man plushy that he talks to when he’s nervous...” you mumbled, “I wish I could tell him he can go to the real Tony, but I can tell him I know...”
“You know a lot of secrets, don’t you?” Loki teased you.
“Sorry...” you said hiding your face against his shoulder.
“Dear heart, what could you possibly be apologizing for?” Loki asked gently.
“I don’t know these secrets because I want to...” you mumbled, “I can’t help but catch the thoughts like passing conversations on the street.”
“We are aware, and it was hard to get used to,” he admitted “but we are aware you don’t intend to hear people’s thoughts.”
“I know... but people still get angry about it,” you muttered “I don’t intend to, but no one likes feeling their privacy was invaded. I hate being the way I am...”
“Don’t say that dove, I doubt anyone in the building blames you” he assured you. “Don’t be so hard on yourself, love.”
“Thanks Loki” you said, as you nuzzled against his neck.
Immediately he jolted as he felt your breath against his skin.
“Ah, sorry, I wasn’t trying to tickle you.”
“Yeah, you are” you pouted, “you can lie but your brain doesn’t. You’re very-very super very ticklish... Look you’re getting embarrassed because I’m right!”
It would be useless to lie given you could see right through him.
“You’re super ticklish... here.”
And right then he felt your hands sneaking under his arms, as your fingertips wiggled against his armpits, which immediately made him break into laughter.
“Ehehehe-hey!” he cackled, “Stohohohop it!”
“See? So ticklish, and so cute” you smiled as you changed to scratch with your fingernails, making Loki double over with laughter. “And I’d dare to say you like it.”
“Shuhuhut ihihit, you mihinx!” he whined. “Thahahat’s so bad!”
“Ow, but it’s fun...” you whined, breathing against his neck, which only tickled more.
And then something unexpected happened, between the tickles that were overwhelming and having all his focus spent on not dropping you, his magic failed, making his spell wear off, revealing his usual self.
“Uh-oh...” you mumbled shyly.
The previous scene had earned a few looks from bystanders, but their endearment and amusement turned into horror when they saw Loki’s real appearance. You hid against him when Loki, barely with time to recover from the giggle fit you had induced on him, summoned a teleportation spell and both of you disappeared under a green cloud.
You reappeared on the halls of the Compound, right by your door, so with a relieved sigh he opened it and delicately placed you in your bed. Before sitting beside you.
“Sorry I ruined the fun” you muttered.
“Fun?” he gasped indignantly, “You called tickling me to pieces fun?”
You nodded.
“I do not like being tickled, you’re talking nonsense” he huffed. “It’s so childish and idiotic.”
“And it puts you in a good mood because it’s mischievous fun” you cut him off.
“You’re insane.”
“It’s okay” you assured him, patting his hand, “I like getting tickled too.”
That made Loki perk up his ears.
“Do you, now?” he smirked. “Well, well, well... Now that’s a secret I’m interested in.”
Immediately your face turned red as your eyes grew wide as plates, as he leaned to straddle your with his hands as he sat on your upper thighs.
“W-Wait! Wahahait, Loki! Nononono, Loki don’t, I’m stupidly ticklish I—”
“Oh, are you?” he grinned. “My, my... I’ve always loved your drunk honesty, but this is the most important bits of information you’ve given me...”
“Loki!” you whined as you covered your beet red face with your hands.
An opportunity he took to scratch your sides, making you jolt and burst into bright silly hiccupy giggles.
“Lohohohoki! Thahahat hic tihihihickles, plehehehease hic hic—!”
That was an adorable sight, you squeezed his wrists, yet not pushing him away. Guess you weren’t lying about actually liking getting tickles.
“Please what, darling? Please more? Please tickle me to pieces? Gladly” he teased as moved to knead that sides of your belly.
You wheezed arching your back as he gave repeated pinches to the sides of your tummy, slowly climbing to your ribs, pinching and squeezing your ribs and sides, causing you to scream with laughter.
“Ah, so pretty and so ticklish... and so helpless” he growled as he sneaked his fingers under your arms.
“AHAHAHEHE, LOHOHOHOHOKI STAHAHAHAP!”
“No, I don’t feel like stopping, you shouldn’t have a problem taking what you dished out on me earlier, would you?”
“PLEHEHEHEASE LOKI! NOHOHOHOT THEHEHEHRE!”
He simply decided to take it up a notch, grabbing your wrists, and pinning them both above your head, making you even more helpless to his tickling free hand.
“LOHOHOHOK—” you protest was got off by a wheeze that sentenced the end of the screaming laughter.
Now the only sound you could make was wheeze in silent laughter and gasp for air as Loki tickled you silly. Tears began streaming down your face as Loki’s hand roamed to squeeze, pinch and scribble over every ticklish spot it could find. He only stopped when you began coughing between gasps of air.
He got off you and saw you curl your legs up to your chest in an attempt to protect yourself. But it only made Loki grab your feet and take off your shoes and socks.
“Noohohoho, no, no Loki please nohoho dohohon’t tihihihck— ACK!”
A single finger scratch with his nail across your sole made you jump and swing your foot, kicking Loki right on the stomach making him fall off the bed.
“Oh my gosh, Loki, I’m sorry!” you said, truly horrified.
The trickster god, huffed and groaned in pain, not expecting a human kick to do so much harm.
“I’m quite alright, you’re just stronger than I thought” Loki said, “I’m impressed.”
You went down to sit next to him, placing a gentle hand on his stomach. Truly it didn’t hurt after initial impact, but you weren’t going to be at peace until you’d check yourself. And maybe he enjoyed having your hands on him.
Until it tickled.
“Hehey!” he whined.
“Sorry...” you said, as a smiled shyly.
“Oh, no I know exactly what you’re thinking” he groaned, “I do not, I repeat, I do not enjoy these childish games."
“I can tell you do, but that’s okay... I know you’re not the type to admit you like something...”
“Wha— What is that supposed to mean?” Loki asked.
“A-Ah! Nothing no... it’s nothing!” you squeaked nervously.
“Darling, you may read minds, but I am the God of it,” Loki said, “I can tell exactly when someone is lying.”
“N-No, it’s nothing!” you said as you curled up on the spot, hiding your face on behind your knees.
“Darling... you’re scaring me... What’s wrong?”
“Can you promise you won’t get mad...?” you asked.
“I don’t think you could truly upset me” Loki comforted you as he grabbed your hand to give it a gentle reassuring squeeze. “After all, you are my favorite.”
Your face turned red and a shy smiled appeared on your face for a moment, before that anguished look made its way back to your features.
“We were getting ready for the last mission, and I heard you, Thor and the others talking... About... me. How you maybe sort of actually... liked-liked me. And you said no... but, your thoughts... did not agree.”
Oh, oh no. Oh dear, oh gods.
Now a lot of things made more sense. How your face was red was in when you walked in the room, and how you suddenly decided to pair up with Steve to rescue the hostages rather than going for intel with him and Nat. How you were moody and distant afterwards. And why this mission report was causing you so much conflict.
You knew he liked you. You had managed to peek that thought of his mind. A thought even he refused to admit. But now, out in the open, he felt relieved, and the way you just seemed embarrassed.
“So you’ve known all this time? And that’s what upsets you?”
“You promised you wouldn’t get mad” you whined.
“I’m not, I think you are more upset than I am!” he laughed, before realizing something, “Does it bother you...? That I long for you like this?”
“N-No...” you mumbled, “Not at all... I maybe sort of like you too...”
“Then why were you so upset?”
“How would you feel if you realized the person you have a massive crush on likes you too but you can’t do anything about it without revealing you may have stepped his boundaries?”
“Massive crush, eh?” he grinned. “So.. It's safe to say that you wouldn’t mind if I stole a k—hmpf!”
He was interrupted by a pair of lips against his own, that quickly melted him into a kiss. You had placed your hand on the side of his neck, sliding it to the back to play with his hair. The young prince pulled you closer to kiss you more, even pinning you against the side of your bed.
Only breaking the kiss when you needed to gasp for air. And he got to admire you bright open eyes staring at him with a huge happy grin.
“Beat you to it” you smiled.
“Whahat?” he laughed.
“I stole the kiss” you beamed proudly.
He smiled as he leaned to kiss you again.
“Now that you admitted you liked me... will you admit you like getting tickled...?”
“Mmm, not yet...” he grinned. “But I have something better in mind.”
“Wha— No! N—EEEEEEEHHH!”
But Loki had already tackled you on the floor and went back to tickling you silly once more. But it was fine, one big confession at the time, and today had been more than enough.

Hela's Kitchen - Just Us Chapter 24
Warnings: None
Word Count: 3507
Series List | Chapter 23 | Chapter 25
================================
So it's now Saturday, yes it's been a week since girls night. For the most part my week has been made up of going to Wanda's or her coming to mine after work, as both our work schedules were a lot lighter than the week before. It's been nice to be able to have meals every night with someone, sharing the bed with them and then waking up to kisses all over my face. Which, I now realise, is something Wanda loves to do and it makes me smile every time I open my eyes to her gorgeous, shiny green eyes and that toothy grin.
I feel like I'm ready for the next step, crazy. I know we have known each other for just over 2 weeks but...I don't know. There is just something about her that pulls me in, she has been worming her way into my life since day one and even though we are still getting to know one another I want to give this thing a chance. Like a real chance. I just hope Wanda feels the same.
"Dorogoy, you okay over there? I can practically see the steam leaving your ears at how hard you're thinking?" Wanda brings her hand to rest on top of mine as we both drink our coffee and eat our pastries. We decided to come back to Second Asgard, as it's a beautiful day out and we wanted to explore New York a little together. I'm thinking of taking us to Brooklyn Bridge and then maybe the park next to it, for a beautiful evening. I am going to take her to a nice restaurant where the prices are a little steep but not ridiculous. I think I'm ready to be more than what we are at the moment, but I am going to wait for her to make that move. I don't want to rush her or make her uncomfortable, I am completely willing to go at her speed. Her pace.
"Sorry, just lost in thought about what else we could do today. What would you say if I drove us to Brooklyn and we did some sightseeing and enjoyed an evening stroll in the park?"
"I would say let's go!" I laugh out as she finished off her coffee, quickly wrapping her pastry in a napkin so she can eat it in the car on the way there.
"You go get in the car, I will pay for this and before you argue you paid last time." I give her a pointed look and she shrugs her shoulders as she stands from her chair.
"Wasn't going to argue anyway." She cheekily replies before kissing my cheek and making her way to the car.
"She looks happy." I turn my head to see the blonde man smiling up at me. "You're good for her y/n, as she is good for you. But don't hurt her."
"I won't Thor, not on purpose. But I've I do hurt her I will pass you the gun."
"That's what I like to hear. Now don't keep a lady waiting." I smile at him as I give him cash for the food. As he is handing me change his brother walks in.
"My brother is right darling. I haven't seen her this happy in a very long time, the same goes for you. While we have you alone I just want to apologise for my actions all those years ago. I should have never blamed you, it wasn't your fault in any way shape or form. I just had so much anger in me when I heard the news and to see you laying in that hospital bed alive. I should have never said what I said." I swallow the lump in my throat. I don't think I've ever heard Loki apologise and definitely not this sincerely.
"Did Thor tell you off after last week?" I let out a small laugh, as does Loki
"Maybe. But I mean it, my words are unforgivable."
"Thank you Loki. It means a lot to hear you say it and as for forgiveness you are forgiven because even though your words killed me I've come to terms with what you said and know they were wrong. As for our friendship you're going to have to earn that back, but I'm really looking forward to having you in my life again."
"Can I hug you?" Loki asks timidly. I give him a soft smile and silently make my way over to him wrapping my arms around his shoulders bringing his body closer to mine. His arms wrap around my torso and I feel him grip onto the back of my shirt like his life depends on it. I feel his shoulders shudder slightly and I know that he is crying.
"You're okay. I'm okay. We are going to be okay." He nods against my shoulder, as I feel the tears start to soak through my shirt. "We are going to be okay. You hear me? I can't lose you again."
"You won't. I promise I will do better." He takes his head off my shoulder as he looks up at me, me standing just a few inches taller. I lean my forehead against him, it's something we have done since we first met. It just lets the other person know we are with them and that it's going to be okay.
"I know. Now as Thor said I can't keep the lady waiting. She is probably watching this through the window think 'what the fuck is going on'." Loki moves to look around me.
"Oh yeah, I'm getting the death glare." We all laugh out loud as I turn to see Wanda's face soften when she sees mine, I know that I've got a few tears running down my face. I wipe them away as I smile back at her.
"I will see you boys next week."
"Starting your weekly tradition of coffee and a muffin again." I nod and give Loki a goodbye kiss on the cheek and Thor wraps me into a crushing hug.
I escape from Thors grasp and make my way out of the café. I shake my body off as I walk out the door trying to stop the small tremors that have started in my hand from the many emotions I'm feeling. I take a deep breath in before slowly releasing , making my way to the car where Wanda has made her way out of and is standing on the sidewalk next to the car. She opens up her arms and I practically fall into a hug with her, my arms wrapping around her waist as I squeeze her tightly. I bend my body slightly so she can rest her chin on my shoulder and stand back up. She squeals as her legs sway in the air, now no longer on the floor.
"Y/n! Put me down." She squeals as I spin her around once and gently place her back down on the ground. Wanda removes herself from the embrace, her hands moving to cup my cheeks as she looks up at me, the sun lighting up her face perfectly. "You okay dorogoy? You had quite the moment with Loki back there."
I quirk my eyebrow at the jealousy I hear in her voice. "It's not what you think it may be Wanda. He is more like an uncle to me than anything else, and he apologised for something he did in the past. So yes I am okay. Actually never better. So Brooklyn?"
"Brooklyn!" Wanda repeats excitedly as she pulls my face down to kiss me, taking her time giving my bottom lip attention before playfully biting it. We jump back from one another when we hear a loud knocking next to us, looking to see Loki behind the glass window of the café with an unimpressed look.
"Stop eating your girlfriends face in the middle of the sidewalk it's disgusting how happy you look." His muffled voice vibrates through the glass as he fake gags at the sight of us, but neither of us pointing out that we aren't girlfriends. When I realise Wanda didn't say anything, I look to her to see her looking at me with something I can't quite decipher and I nearly ask her out right then and there. But I have a plan, and I can't spoil it with my blabbermouth. I have to wait for her.
"Right, let's go."
I open the passenger door for Wanda, making sure she is comfortable and buckled in before I make my way to my side. As I turn the keys starting the ignition checking my mirrors so I can pull away safely, I see Wanda place her hand on the dashboard of the car as I rev it. She loves this car, and I love that she loves this car.
We are sitting in the car enjoying one of the many radio stations, as we drive with the windows down our hair dancing in the wind. I have one hand on the steering wheel, the other resting on the frames of the door moving it up and down in the wind. I see Wanda shuffle to face me more as she rests her elbow on her door resting her face in her open palm.
"'Can I ask you something?" Her voice breaks the comfortable silence we had going.
"Anything."
"What did Loki apologise for? I mean I've never seen that man cry and whatever he was saying made him emotional enough to cry." Wanda asks cautiously, not sure what my reaction may be. I take a minute to think about my answer but ultimately decide to tell her, it's about time I open about this time of my life.
"A few years ago, someone he was close with. Not in that way, but in a family member but not by blood way. Well they were killed in an incident that I was also involved in. They ended up dying while I survived, not that I was in good condition, but when I woke up in hospital the first thing Loki did was blame me. We had so many fights and I officially kicked him out of my life. Long story short he came crawling back with apology after apology and I think only recently have I been able to forgive him and accept his apology."
We sat in silence for a few minutes as Wanda took in this information, I allowed her to take it in. It's a lot, and even though that's not even close to the whole story, hopefully it's enough for her to understand enough for her to know that I am willing to open up and tell her everything but it's going to take time.
"How do you feel now?" I furrow my brows as I take a quick glance at Wanda before returning my eyes to the road.
"What do you mean?"
"Well it sounds like you went through something really traumatic and then got blamed for that trauma. But now you have forgiven the man that placed the blame, I'm assuming all is not forgotten and he is going to have to earn is family title back, but how does it make you feel knowing you want him back in your life?"
"Sometimes I forget you're 11 years older than me and then you come out with these wise words and the right questions. You know what to say when to say it and when to push and when not to push. It's impressive how you do it."
"Thank you, but answer the question." She knows to push and when not too and now is a time I definitely need a push.
"I feel lighter. Like I can let go of the hatred I had against myself because for the longest time I believed his words to be true, but I don't. Not anymore and I think that's how I am able to forgive him." I move my hand from the window to the steering wheel so I can grab onto Wanda's hand, bringing to my lips to kiss her knuckles. "Thank you for pushing."
"Thank you for trusting me with it."
"Well I trust you Wanda."
"I trust you too y/n."
"I do have one question though."
"Shoot."
"Do you want me to meet your boys at all?" I hear Wanda hum in thought.
"I would like you too. I mean they come back to mine tomorrow and we are planning a friends and family cook out for next Friday. It would be really nice if you could come, just to meet them but I don't want to force you to do anything you're not ready for."
"I would really like to meet your boys, just give me the time I should show up, if I need to bring anything and I will be there." I lean over to kiss her on the cheek as we come to a stop at a red light. "We are nearly here by the way."
Wanda turns to look at her open window, her eyes searching her surroundings, taking in the bridge and park in the distance. I have booked a meal first, before we go for our walk and just spend time with each other.
"Where are we heading the bridge is the other way?"
"Well I thought I would treat you to a beautiful meal first."
"Y/n." Wanda groans slightly, I know she hates the idea of me spending money on her.
"Wanda." I match her tone. "I know you don't like people spending money on you or for you, but I like to so you have no choice in the matter. If you really dislike the idea of me paying for all the food and drinks, don't, because there is no reason for you to. This is my treat."
"I. I. Thank you." She breathes out slightly defeated.
"If you really hate the idea of me paying for the whole thing I have no issue of you putting money towards it, I mean we can go Dutch if you really want to. I just thought I would treat you." I shrug, I get why she dislikes the idea of someone spending money on her.
"No, wait, no I mean thank you. This is really sweet. I like that you're treating me, I'm just going to have to get used to someone spending money on me again because since me and vision divorced I've always spent my own money on myself and the boys. Even before that vision didn't treat me much."
"Well, unfortunately for you, you're going to have to get used to it because I like the idea of treating you. Spoiling you. Spending my money on you."
"I like that idea but I want to spoil you as well."
"I'm not going to say no to being spoiled to something once in a while. My favourite ice cream is caramel, my favourite drink is anything caramel flavoured. My favourite café is New Asgard and my favourite place to be is either on the beach or on the hills. Oh and I love sunset or sunrise."
"Good to know. I will start planning my own little treats for you."
"I can't wait, princess. Whatever you do I will enjoy and cherish it."
"So where are we going?"
"Have you ever heard of Hela's kitchen?" I ask turning into the parking lot for the 5 star restaurant.
"Yeah, Thor and Loki mention it every now and again. It's their older sister's restaurant right?"
"It is."
"I have another question."
"Go for it."
"Do you know everyone in New York?" I laugh out as I climb out the car making my way to Wanda's door holding it open for her as I give her my hand to hoist her out.
"No I don't. I just know people who know people. I mean I didn't know your friends or those three men who were at the club. But I get what you are saying. It is a little creepy that we both know the same people yet have never met each other"
"Right! It's crazy to think we could have seen each other in passing but only now are we really seeing each other."
"Well I see you Wanda."
"I see you too Y/n." Wanda takes a hold of my hand as we calmly walk to the front of the line. "I'm assuming because you know the owner you can just sort of skip the hour wait?"
"You assume correctly." I nod to the waiter who has worked here since I started coming, so he hands me two menus as I walk past and go to my regular chair which has a reserved sign on it.
I pull out Wanda's chair for her as she takes her red leather jacket off, and I grab it, placing it on the back of her chair as she gets comfortable. I tuck her chair in for her, passing her one of the menus and make my way to my chair. I already know what I'm going to get and what drink I would like, but I have enough patience to wait for Wanda's decision.
"Is there anything you would suggest?" Wanda peaks up over her menu seeing mine laying on the table discarded.
"I am going to have the sirloin steak, medium rare as they cook it perfectly here. I get chunky chips and peas as well. It's just what I need."
"Well that sounds delicious so I will have what you are having, and for a drink I will just have a cheap glass of red." I smile and nod at Wanda as I see Hela appear from her office making her way over.
"Y/n! Honey, it's been a minute."
"Well it took you long enough to make an appearance I was going to call a waiter over." I laugh out loud.
"How fucking rude of you! I will let you know I wasn't aware you were coming here tonight."
"Well you better train your staff better." I jest. Hela juts her chin at my words, but I know she knows I mean no harm. "Anway Hela this is Wanda, Wanda Hela. Wanda is a friend of Thor and Loki's and Hela is their sister."
"It is lovely to finally meet you, Hela. I have heard a lot about you from your brothers."
"All good things I hope?" Hela holds out her hand which Wanda takes as they shake hands introducing themselves to one another.
"Of course."
"Wanda that name rings a bell. Your the Sokovian with two twin boys right?" Wanda nods her head letting out a small yeah. "So are you two together yet?"
Me and Wanda both go wide eyed and stare between one another and then back at the Hela. Hela raises her eyebrows at us as we both recover from the question.
"I take that as a no?" Me and Wanda both nod our head at her question. "Well that's a shame, you guys make a cute couple."
"We've only known each other for like two weeks." I say more to myself than Hela because I feel like I'm ready for the next step but don't want to rush Wanda.
"Well you're stupid for not already asking Wanda out. She deserves better from you." Hela hits the back of my head earning a scowl from me and a laugh from Wanda. "Oh and Wanda your stupid too for not locking it down sooner." That shuts Wanda up.
"As y/n said we have only known each other for 2 weeks, and a day technically."
"Well you are both stupid because there is no timeline on these things." She mutters another stupid under her breath before smiling at us. "Anyway Y/n are you having your normal."
"Of course."
"And for you Wanda?"
"I will be having the same." Wanda places her menu on mine, handing it over to Hela.
"So two sirloin steaks, medium rare, with our cheapest red?" Hela double checks our order.
"Yes please Hela."
"No problem, someone will be back with your drinks and I will bring your food over when it's ready." With that Hela turns on her heels heading towards the bar to put our order in the system.
"She is very to the point." Wanda voices her observations.
"She is, but it's one of the good things about her. She says it as it is."
"So what are we doing after our meal? Any more surprises?" Wanda sucks in her cheeks slightly poking her tongue into her left one as she stares at me, a small smirk grows on her face as she sees my eyes drop to her actions. Well holy shit, now that was hot! She has to know what she is doing.
"No nothing but the walk in the park to have an explore and look at the bridge."
"Perfect. I can't wait."

Portal to My Heart (Book 1.5) Chapter Four
Loki x Reader
Chapter Four: During the Escape
Summary: (Y/N) and Loki team up with Thor to take care of Malekith and escape together from Asgard.
(Y/N) breathed a sigh of relief as her portal worked long enough before closing. She wasn’t sure what she was doing, but she knew that she felt better having given a mourning lantern to Loki so that he could say goodbye to his mother just as the rest of Asgard did.
“(Y/N) (L/N)?” Fandral walked into the room. Several guards stood behind him.
            (Y/N) turned to him. “Yeah?”
“You need to come with me,” said Fandral.
            “What?” said (Y/N).
“The King has instructed me to bring you to a secure location,” said Fandral.
(Y/N) had worked at SHIELD long enough to know what that really meant. “I’m not some prisoner. You can’t lock me up here.”
“I have orders,” said Fandral. “Please don’t make this difficult.” He stepped up to (Y/N) as she glared. “Please.” His voice went low so only (Y/N) could hear. “Thor is waiting for us. But we must go as if we are following orders.”
(Y/N) blinked before playing along. “Fine. But I’m not happy.”
Fandral nodded. “Guards, go along to your posts. I will escort Lady (Y/N) to her new chambers.”
l
Fandral and (Y/N) entered a small tavern to find Sif and Volstagg sitting with Thor. Heimdall stood behind him.
“So, what are we planning?” said (Y/N).
“Are you sure you wish to join us? You’re not a trained warrior,” said Sif.
“I’m not letting the Dark Elves continue to hurt people,” said (Y/N). “I won’t just stand here useless.
“Good. We need all the help we can get,” said Thor.
(Y/N) nodded and sat down. “Alright, so what’s happening?”
Thor cleared his throat. “What I’m about to ask of you is treason of the highest order. Success will bring us exile, and failure shall mean our death. Malekith knew the Aether was here. He can sense its power. If we do nothing, he will come for it again but this time lay waste to all of Asgard. We must move Jane off-world. The Bifrost has been shut down, and the Tesseract locked away in the vault. (Y/N)’s powers are not strong enough to travel worlds.”
(Y/N) shrugged as if saying “yeah, sorry, can’t help it.”
“There are other paths off Asgard,” said Heimdall. “Ways known only to a few.”
            “One, actually,” said Thor.
Sif’s eyes flicked to Thor, Fandral shifted uneasily, (Y/N) rolled her eyes, and Volstagg said, “No.”
“Loki?” Sif stared at Thor. “He’s tried to kill you multiple times. Why would he work with you?”
Fandral raised an eyebrow. “If you think one of us can convince him, you’re more out of your mind than I thought.”
“Lady (Y/N) could speak to him,” said Heimdall.
Everyone’s eyes went to (Y/N), and she blinked. “Me? Why?” Heimdall’s golden eyes bore into her, and she realized Heimdall had the ability to watch her and Loki visit. He knew they spoke frequently. “…Fine.”
“Send the Midgardian to speak to Loki? How will that work?” said Volstagg.
“I guess I’ll just have to figure it out.” (Y/N) huffed. “You know, seeing how the fate of Asgard rests on me getting Loki to help us.”
Thor nodded. “And once we have Loki, here’s what we’ll do…”
l
(Y/N) walked into the empty dungeon. Her dress hung just above her ankles, cut roughly so it didn't trail along the ground. She didn't want to trip during a run or fight.
“(Y/N).” Loki laced his hands behind his back as (Y/N) approached him.
“Loki.” (Y/N) gazed back at him evenly.
“What a pleasure to see you,” said Loki. “And so soon after a crisis.”
(Y/N) sighed. “Loki, you didn’t put the mourning lantern in your illusion.”
Loki paused before stepping back. The green illusion faded, and the entire room changed. The furniture was in smashed pieces. The food and rink lay trampled on the ground. Loki was slumped against the wall in just his tunic and pants, barefoot and wild-haired. His gaze was faraway and pained. The mourning lantern lay beside him. It glowed faintly.
“Now you see me,” murmured Loki.
(Y/N)’s gaze softened, and she walked around his cell to the barrier closest to him. “Oh, Loki.”
“Did she suffer?” asked Loki softly.
“No. It was quick,” said (Y/N). “She protected my and Jane’s lives.” She looked at Loki “She died with honor.” Her gaze darkened. “But that doesn’t make it better. And it doesn’t mean Malekith should get away with it.”
Loki’s eyes met (Y/N)’s. “No. He shouldn’t.” His voice shared the same darkness.
“Do you want a chance to right that wrong?” said (Y/N).
            “Go on,” said Loki.
“I have a way for us to get revenge,” said (Y/N). “You just need to help me and a few other people get off Asgard.”
Loki considered for just a moment. He collected himself and chuckled. With a smirk, he looked at (Y/N). “You must be truly desperate to come to me for help.”
“Well, you’re going to have to deal with me, Thor, and some others, so you’re just as desperate,” said (Y/N).
“What makes you think you can trust me?” said Loki, not acknowledging that (Y/N) was right. He was willing to work with anyone, even his brother, in order to kill the man murdered his mother.
“I don’t,” said (Y/N). “But I know that you loved your mother. I think she was one of the only people you ever cared about. So I know that you’ll stick by us until we beat Malekith.” She narrowed her eyes. “However, try anything, and I finish what Hulk started.”
“Hm.” Loki smirked in amusement. “When do we start?”
“Now.” Thor announced his presence by swinging his hammer into the device keeping the barrier of Loki’s cell up. The alarm blared, and Loki stood, summoning his clothing and armor once more.
They quickly made their way out of the dungeons, darting through the columns of the palace as guards ran past.
“I expect this rebellion from (Y/N)—” (Y/N) gave him the middle finger “—but you, Brother? Unexpected,” said Loki, grinning. “So clandestine. Are you sure you wouldn’t rather just punch your way out?”
“If you keep speaking, I might,” said Thor.
Loki held up his hands. “Fine. As you wish. I’m not even here.” Green light swirled over him, and he became an Asgardian guard. “Is this better?”
“If you were quiet and played the role,” remarked (Y/N).
“Still, we could be less conspicuous,” said Loki. He transformed back, and an illusion formed around Thor, changing him into Sif. “Much better, I think.”
“It will hurt no less when I kill you in this form,” said Thor.
“And not hiding your or me makes this just as suspicious as the three of us walking out normally,” added (Y/N).
“Why would we hide you?” Loki smirked at her, and she rolled her eyes. “Very well. Perhaps you prefer your new companions, Thor, given that you seem to like them so much.” His magic turned Thor back to himself, switched (Y/N) to Black Widow, and changed himself to Captain America.
(Y/N) pulled at the tight black suit and grimaced. “No thanks.”
“Oh, this is much better!” said Loki in Captain America’s voice. “Ooh. This costume is a bit much. So tight. But the confidence…I can feel the righteousness surging. Hey, do you want to have a rousing discussion about truth? Honor? Patriotism? God bless Ameri—!”
Thor pushed Loki against a column and slapped a hand over his mouth. The magic flew away, leaving (Y/N) and Loki as they were.
Loki pushed Thor’s hand away. “What?”
“Guards, idiot,” said (Y/N), gesturing to the two men walking by at the end of the hall.
Loki looked at Thor. “You could at least furnish me with a weapon. My daggers, something.” Thor nodded and reached back for something on his belt. Loki grinned. “At last. A little common sense.” The cuffs clicked shut before Loki knew what was happening. (Y/N) smirked at his bewildered expression as he looked at them.
“And I thought you liked tricks,” said Thor impishly.
“Sif and Jane are here,” said (Y/N), nodding as from another entrance to the hall both women strode forward.
Jane’s eyes widened. “You’re…!” She pointed at Loki.
“I’m Loki, you may have heard of me,” said Loki.
Jane slapped him across the face before he could do anything. “That was for New York!”
(Y/N) burst out laughing. “I wish that was me!”
            Loki grinned. “I like her.”
“There they are! Take them!” Guards ran towards them, finally having been alerted. “On my command!”
“I’ll hold them off,” said Sif. “You go with them.”
“Thank you,” said Thor. He turned and guided Jane towards the entrance.
Sif placed her sword against Loki’s throat in warning. “Betray him, and I kill you.”
Loki chuckled. “It’s good to see you too, Sif.”
“Come on,” said (Y/N), taking Loki’s arm and pulled him with her as they made their way after Thor.
They arrived at Volstagg and the knife-shaped ship of the Dark Elves that had crashed in the throne hall.
“I will give you as much time as I can,” said Volstagg.
“Thank you, my friend,” said Thor, shaking his hand. He walked past, and Jane nodded.
Volstagg pushed Loki back by the chest for a moment. “If you even think about betraying him—”
“—You’ll kill me?” Loki smirked. “Evidently, there will be a line.”
“Well, you have a terrible habit of pissing everyone off,” said (Y/N), pulling him forward again. Loki glanced down at her hand around his elbow.
Within the ship, Thor began pressing on different buttons of the strange console. Nothing happened, and he pressed harder in frustration.
“Whatever you’re doing, Brother, I suggest you do it faster,” said Loki as the sounds of fighting outside began.
            “Shut up, Loki,” muttered Thor.
“You must have missed something,” said Loki.
“No, I didn’t,” said Thor. “I’m pressing every button on this thing.”
“No, don’t hit it, just press it gently,” said Loki.
“I am pressing it gently!” Thor fairly slammed his hand on the console. “It’s not working!”
“Move.” (Y/N) pushed the hulking man of muscles out of the way and glanced over the console.
Every hacker and SHIELD tech specialist instinct burned through her as she followed the patterns of controls across the console. She had it. (Y/N) calmly pressed a button and pushed a lever forward. The room lit up with blue light as a holographic screen came up. Jane, Thor, and Loki stared at her, and she shrugged.
“I have spent a lot of time hacking into technology that I shouldn’t,” said (Y/N). “And it seems everyone gets similar ideas about design.” She gestured to two handrests. “Those are steering.”
“Great!” Thor stepped forward and urged the ship forward.
It lurched, and (Y/N) stumbled. Loki caught her, keeping her on her feet. The ship swerved around, destroying a dozen pillars of the throne room.
“I think you missed a column,” said Loki.
            “Shut up!” said Thor.
(Y/N) glanced down at Loki’s bound hands, still resting on her waist. Her attention was quickly taken as the ship crashed out of the palace. They swerved wildly through the city, and poor Jane held tightly onto a side console to keep from falling while Loki kept (Y/N) up.
“Look, why don’t you let me take over?” said Loki. “I’m clearly the better pilot.”
“Or me! I know how to use this stuff!” said (Y/N).
“Is that right? Well, out of the three of us, which one can actually fly?” said Thor.
The ship swerved as guard towers fired, and they dove into a canyon above a river. Beside the group, Jane’s eyes rolled into her head, and she collapsed.
“Oh, dear. Is she dead?” said Loki matter-of-factly.
            “Jane!” cried Thor.
She groaned. “I’m okay…” She didn’t have the strength to get up, though.
Behind them, several ships popped up, and in his hurry, Thor sliced through a tower (abandoned and ornamental, luckily). “Not a word,” he said before Loki could criticize him.
Still, that wouldn’t keep Loki from remarking on the tails. “Now they’re following us.”
The ships fired, and their own ship shook.
“Now they’re firing at us,” said Loki.
“Thank you for the commentary, Loki, it’s not at all distracting!” said Thor. (Y/N) snickered.
They slammed into a tunnel and cut the head of a towering statue off.
“Well done,” said Loki. “You just decapitated your grandfather.” (Y/N) smothered a grin.
Thor sped out across the lakes of Asgard, avoiding the towers and ships firing at them.
“You know, this is wonderful,” said Loki. “This is a tremendous idea. Let’s steal the biggest, most obvious ship in the universe and escape in that! Flying around the city, smashing into everything in sight so everyone can see us! It’s brilliant, Thor! It’s truly brilliant!”
Thor shoved Loki out the door, and he yelped in surprise. (Y/N) leaned out to see Loki land on the flying ship Fandral had procured for their escape below.
“You’re next!” called Thor over the whoosh of wind.
“I know, I know, give me a moment to contemplate that I might die!” said (Y/N), tensing at the edge of the door. I better hope my powers give me some extra durability! She jumped.
(Y/N) hit the ship hard. Luckily, her powers did seem to have heightened what her body could take, but her gracefulness, not so much. (Y/N) cursed as she hit the deck and tripped backwards and hit the side, nearly falling to the ground but being stopped by Loki. (Y/N) groaned and shook her head to clear it after the rush, but Loki’s eyes glanced over her. His grip on her tightened for a moment before releasing her.
The thud of Thor landing with Jane in his arms took their attention. Thor gently laid Jane down a roll of fabric.
“You lied to me,” said Loki. “I’m impressed.”
“I’m glad you’re pleased,” said Thor. “Now, do as you promised and take us to your secret pathway.”
Loki took the steering stick ((Y/N) studied computers, not boats) and gripped it tightly. He smirked, and the ship sped up across the water. (Y/N) stood at the back of the ship, holding onto the sides. Behind them, an Asgardian ship arrived and shot at them.
“Our friends are back,” said (Y/N), and Loki swerved the ship back and forth to avoid the shots. He drove the ship up, and it flew instead of skimming the water.
            “Fandral,” said Thor.
“Right,” said Fandral. He took a rope into his hands. “For Asgard.” He jumped from the ship and swung on the rope to the Asgardian. He too battled for Thor to make it out.
Loki drove the ship into the mountains surrounding Asgard, leaving the populated lands behind. He turned towards two towering cliffs.
“Uh…” (Y/N) stared at the tiny cleft they were approaching.
            “Loki,” said Thor warningly.
“If it were easy, everyone would do it,” said Loki.
“Are you mad?!” demanded Thor as they zoomed towards the tiny cleft in the cliff.
“Probably,” said Loki with a wild grin.
If that grin wasn’t hot, I’d punch him right now for being so ridiculous, thought (Y/N). “You better keep us alive!” She gripped the side of the ship beside Loki, and Thor crouched and covered Jane.
The ship hit the small cave, screeching along the sides of it as they banged through. Thor held Jane tightly as sparks flew and turned to rainbow, Bifrost-like streaks. (Y/N) glanced up at Loki, and he smirked at her confidently. Somehow, that assured (Y/N) she would survive. The Bifrost-like sparks lit up the world around the group, and they rushed into the brightness.
The ship popped out into a desolate wasteland of smoky clouds covering the sky and rocks strewn across barren earth.
“Tada~” announced Loki as the ship banged across the ground before steadying in the ground.
“Your driving sucks…” groaned (Y/N) from where she had fallen, rubbing her head.
“Jane?” Thor crouched by her, and Jane groaned, rolling over and closing her eyes. His eyes softened, and he covered her in a blanket to let her rest. Thor straightened and looked at (Y/N). “I know Midgardians can tire after such excitement. You may rest if needed.”
I could keep going, I’m not totally human anymore. Or, at least, my powers changed me. (Y/N) glanced around. “Alright.” But who says no to a nap? She lay down and closed her eyes, giving herself a moment after the terribly long day she’d had (and hey, visions were tiring). She knocked out in a second.
Thor and Loki sat back as Loki steered them calmly across the Dark World’s surface. He glanced at the Midgardians.
“What I could do with the power that flows through those veins,” said Loki.
“It would consume you, just as the Tesseract and the scepter did,” said Thor.
“Your Jane seems to be holding up right now,” said Loki. “For now.”
“She’s strong in ways you’d never know,” said Thor.
            “Say goodbye,” said Loki.
            “Not this day,” said Thor.
“This day, the next, a hundred years, it’s nothing,” said Loki. He stood and spoke cruelly, his own revenge against the way Thor abandoned him to his cell. “It’s a heartbeat. You’ll never be ready. The only woman whose love you’ve prized will be snatched from you.”
“And will that satisfy you?” said Thor.
“Satisfaction is not in my nature,” said Loki smoothly.
“Surrender is not in mine,” replied Thor.
“The son of Odin…” said Loki bitterly.
“No. Not just of Odin,” said Thor. “You think you alone were loved of Mother? You had her tricks, but I had her trust.”
“Trust?” demanded Loki. “Was that her last expression?” He glared at Thor. “Trust? When you let her die?”
“What help were you in that cell?!” cried Thor.
“Who put me there?” hissed Loki. “Who put me there?!”
“You know damn well!” Thor shoved him back. “You know damn well who!” He reared back to punch Loki but paused, breathing heavily. He let go and stepped back. “She wouldn’t want us to fight.”
“Well…she wouldn’t exactly be shocked,” said Loki.
Thor turned away and sighed, giving up the subject. It was too painful for both. He glanced back at Loki. “Insult me and remind me of Jane’s mortal life all you want. Let us love Mother together and get revenge for her.” Thor paused. “And remember that you have something to lose, too.”
            Loki paused. “What?”
“(Y/N) is a Midgardian.” Thor turned away once more.
Loki frowned and glanced at (Y/N). Yes. Time would pass. (Y/N) had shown no sign of her abilities changing her lifespan, and there was no way to test for it, so time would eventually steal her away. It would steal Loki’s friend away.
            Loki blinked.
Loki’s friend. Yes. She was his friend. She was a person he…cared for.

All your ideas for fics are like, genius. You are insanely creative. I wanna be able to write like you some day, but I never have any ideas. Is there anything you do to figure out your ideas? Like taking some stuff from other fics or just spending a lot of time thinking or something? Or do the ideas just pop into your mind?
Great question! Thanks for asking, and the compliment. It's very sweet. <3
I remember being roadblocked by this a lot when I first got started, too, so you're not weird. This is pretty normal from what I've seen.
Here's where I get my ideas most of the time:
Reading fics in and out of the fandom (Right now, it's really, really rare for me to read MCU fics that aren't for Tony and Peter.)
Watching TV/movies
reading books
tumblr posts
my headcanons
music
That fic idea that blows up that everyone does 200 times
Not being able to find the fic I want to read (this is pretty rare though)
Want to see a character destroyed
Re-watching something and then being annoyed the actual writers didn't address this THING
I really, really enjoy the challenge of writing a fic that everyone has done 300 times and then doing it different. I have read so many fics where Aunt May has an abusive boyfriend to Peter. Like so many. And then I got done with that and I was like "you know what? Tony punched the abusive guy and that was like. It. Peter was fine? What happens after." And then I wrote Vertigo and Not One for Chocolate Anymore.
Then we have You Screamed for So Long I Forgot To Care Anymore. Pretty much every fic in existence about Loki and the Avengers, there's always this big section about Loki explaining to the Avengers about how he was mind controlled and I was like. Wait. What if the Avengers had to explain that to Loki?
Taking a fandom trope and then twisting it enough so you can still recognize the trope for what it is is one of my favorite things. Everyone loves reading tropes, okay? Everyone. But one of the most enjoyable things is a fresh take on the trope. I had never seen anyone do that before.
Sometimes I get requests, though not as much recently. (I used to get them every couple of weeks. I don't think I've actually accepted a fic request since the Blodig Skog.)
Here's an ask where I answered how my writing process works
Here's an ask where I talk about how to stay motivated
I kept trying to find a post where I talked about how I plan, but it's gone, so. Sorry. lmao. XD It's somewhere on my blog.
Basically. I just kind of keep an eye out for ideas all the time and then I write them down. I may use them tomorrow or never, but I keep a document all the same.
Here's some ideas from my planning doc:
Tumblr media
^ me being annoyed they didn't address that Diana, for as much as she loves Spencer, was extremely neglectful to him in Criminal Minds. Also that scene in s12 where she hit him, Spencer reacted like it wasn't the first time. He barely seemed to think about it. Why? Diana has probably hit him before. <- Headcanon, + me being annoyed with canon.
Tumblr media
^ had this one for years. Never done anything. This fic would actually massively deconstruction of Loki and Thor's relationship and I have a feeling that @thot-son-of-odin would kill for it. XD Writers didn't address something, so I'm annoyed + the fic I want to read.
See look, I have another summery of that fic later in the doc:
Tumblr media
^I think about this a lot.
Tumblr media
^ subverting fandom tropes, tumblr, + personal headcanons about Frigga. Basis of YSFSLWFTCA.
Tumblr media
^subverting fandom trope. The time travel fics always go back and fix everything. I want to destroy Thor. This fic would not be happy. It would do nothing BUT destroy Thor.
Tumblr media
^ this is for ML, but Marinette is usually cursed with bad luck in fics and it annoys me. I need Adrien to get destroyed. Every bad thing that could happen to him, should. Subverting fandom tropes. Not being able to find the fic I want to read. Also based off the original basis for ML which is that the ring would curse Adrien with bad luck and he couldn't remove it, but the only way it would be reversed is if Marinette gave him a kiss.
As you can see, the ideas are usually really simple. They're kind of supposed to be? I think writing is at its best when it's simple. If it's getting too complicated to follow, you enjoy it a lot less. Sorry. long answer. Um. Okay.
I get my ideas from interacting with the fandom on all fronts. I've kind of learned to see everything in life as a creative opportunity. Did this answer your question? You can say no, that's fine. Please come bother me again, always, I'll try to wander less. And also, my DMs are always open if you want someone to throw ideas at and plot with.

odin, the all-father (asteroids odin (3989) & wodan (2155))
i love me some odin. odin happens to be one of my deities :) around 2016 is when i learned this. after a tarot reading and a flock of crows was on the power line waiting for me after school is when i figured it out symbolically.
sometimes i get dms about deities here - whether it is if i can tell their story or how you can get confirmation with astrology are the typical questions. this is when i will tell ya'll i am an astrology tumblr first and foremost - if your deity has an asteroid, i will certainly add them to my list of asteroids to talk about if not than apologies but i won’t be sharing the myth here. but also an interesting question i receive: how can you get confirmation about a deity in astrology? i look at persona charts for confirmation - deities that tend to reach out to you without you reaching out to them first tend to have two stelliums in your persona chart for their asteroid. asmodeus did not reach out to me but odin, morpheus, pluto, and sigyn did. asmodeus has only one stellium while all my other dieties have two! if anyone would like me to talk more about my experience with my deities their involvement in my life, how i give to them, or any of those types of things i would be happy to share just let me know.
* having no stellium doesn’t mean they aren’t your deity. deity work and worship is more so about what you do for them and sometimes they give back to you. it’s never guaranteed that you receive anything from deities! *
but I am sure you all saw our favorite thing in the world in astrology - two asteroids, one god (no relation to the cup thing from 2014). odin has two other popular names used in reference to him: wotan and wodan. the old norse is òðinn, woden is the old english, and wotan is the old high german. check out my thor post if you are interested in the evolution of language. long story short we are always evolving so who knows the sounds and the way "odin" is currently spelt may change in the future. but i never want to pigeon hole anyone into just one option when there are many - so you pick which asteroid to use. 3989 or 2155 or both :).
“when talking about such a popular god or goddess i am going to for warn paraphrasing - of course all these stories have more details and all these popular gods have stories within stories. i would love to share them all/in detail but i would need a book and a lot more time to write it. my attempt in writing these posts are to inform you on the high level story of the god’s or goddess’s life. that being said if any one of the events regaled in the post pique you interest - please let me know i don’t mind giving a more in-depth tale of any of the events mentioned.”
now on to odin.
Tumblr media
Odin is often depicted as the leader Aesir who has one eye and a long beard. Oftentimes, Odin is illustrated as someone with quite a few animal familiars: wolves, ravens, and even the eight-legged horse mentioned in Loki's post, Sleipnir. Oðr is the Old Norse word for fury, passion, and inspiration - his name translates to the man of rage and passion. This is very fitting for his archetype as the powerful king of Valhalla. Odin is often thought to be the son of a frost jötnar, Bestla, and Borr, who is rather obscure in the histories. What is known is that Odin and his brothers killed a rather important giant named Ymir. The blood of Ymir was thought to have drowned all the giants but two (who eventually repopulated) with his blood. Ymir's flesh was then used to make the earth, his bones to make mountains, his skull to make the sky, etc. Odin and his brothers then set about creating the beings who lived in this new world (see the Ask and Embla post to read that myth). Odin and his brothers also created Asgard, shortly after that he married Frigg. Odin has quite a few famous children with other women like Thor. Odin often comes to earth in the form of a wise old man to test the humans for hospitality and he sends his crows to collect wisdom. This hunger for knowledge, wisdom, and worldliness are not new for Odin. There are many stories in which he hangs himself for knowledge - essentially sacrificing himself for enlightenment. One of the most popular stories of his quests for knowledge is the same story that explains how Odin lost his eye. Odin had traveled into the root system of the World Tree - home to Mimir's well. Odin asked Mimir if he could drink from the well and Mimir told him not without sacrifice. Odin debated this and agreed to Mimir's terms - Mimir filled a horn for him. Odin drank it and saw the future of both human and godly challenges that would eventually occur. Once Odin had finished his drink, he plucked his right eye out and handed it to Mimir who placed it in the well. IN MY OPINION Odin represents a) where and how you create, b) your relationship with animals or what kind of familiar you should have, c) where you appear powerful without needing to assert yourself, d) where, what, and why you are willing to sacrifice everything, and/or e) your views on knowledge and wisdom.
Tumblr media
i encourage you to look into the aspects of odin and wodan along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of odin and wodan AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede odin and wodan!
OTHER RELATED ASTEROIDS: ask (4894), donar (2176), embla (4895), loke (4862), thora (299), and frigga (77)!

Fidelity won 3
Loki pulled Sig out of the captain's chair and laid her carefully on the floor while the ship broke free of Midgard's atmosphere and hurtled into space.
She was breathing. He felt an unexpected rush of relief.
The little time-witch was there at the console when he turned, pushing buttons and flipping switches.
"What are you doing?"
She looked back at him as he rose.
"Auto-pilot," she replied cheerfully. "Sigyn will need to rest a while. Her form is very depleted. I will keep us safe until she wakes." And then the strange little creature just popped out of existence.
"Wait!" he cried angrily, rushing to the console. The controls were locked. He cursed. "What have you done?"
There was no answer. He looked back at the woman lying unconscious on the floor, and then again at the console. He could at least try to override the locks.
He'd barely reached for the console when the time-witch popped back in beside him.
"Bloody hell!"
"You shouldn't do that," she said politely. "The controls are set to recognize only Sig and me. You'll make her angry."
"I hardly think she's going to notice at the moment."
"Not Sigyn, the ship."
Loki suppressed his exasperation, taking a diplomatic tone. "If you'll be so kind as to unlock it, I'll be happy to navigate us to-–"
"No, thank you."
"Listen, witch," he grated, reaching for her. She was gone before he'd completed the movement.
Cursing under his breath, he turned back to the controls and attempted to hack the security protocols. The ship immediately issued a high pitched warning tone and the console flashed an alarming shade of red.
"Alright, alright," he held up his hands in submission. "I get it."
He looked around again at Sig. He considered threatening to kill her if the witch didn't unlock the controls, but it seemed a better idea to ingratiate himself and wait for a better opportunity. He had to admit, they'd planned this well. He'd have taken the ship and dumped them both at the first opportunity. Probably.
But even as he thought it, he wondered if it was true. That little time-witch was a problem without a solution. And the woman–-Sigyn-–was remarkably powerful.
Plus, if he was being completely honest with himself, the idea of being on his own again, wandering an inhospitable universe, with his name at the top of Thanos' shit list was...less than appealing.
I could certainly use some powerful friends.
And the two of them were nothing if not powerful. He had an inkling the witch had even more up her sleeve than what he'd seen so far. And the other... he looked at her again.
He'd watched her take the full brunt of Thor's power—and then wield it, if to her own detriment. She was Asgardian, too. He'd bet his life on it.
With power like that...
But she was clever, self-assured. Perceptive. Not the type to bow to his leadership.
Perhaps he could seduce her. That might give him some leverage. He measured that long, sleek body with his eyes. It wouldn't exactly be an unpleasant undertaking, either.
Then again, Sig didn't fit into the category of woman who usually fell under his spell, for the same reasons that she wouldn't likely accept his leadership.
It was an uncomfortable situation for him, to say the least. Needing powerful allies, but having little power to wield over them.
As he sat there thinking, calculations gave way to a quiet sort of exhaustion.
With nothing but silence for company, he found himself thinking of Sakaar. Of Thor.
Loki, life is about growth. It's about change, but you just seem to want to stay the same. I guess what I'm trying to say is... You'll always be the God of Mischief, but you could be more.
Why did he keep thinking of that?
"Patronizing bullshit," he spat into the silence.
But it had been lodged there in his mind for months. Hovering on the edge of every thought. Every pause. Every stretch of stillness.
Hounding him.
You could be more.
He couldn't pretend not to see that his life replayed itself like a carousel. Patterns repeating over and over.
Lies, betrayal, destruction, loss—his birth, his upbringing, his place in Asgard. Exile. Torture at the hands of Thanos. Promises made and summarily broken. Failure after failure. Humiliation. Judgment.
Mother.
No, he wouldn't think of her.
And there was Hela. More secrets swept under proverbial the rug. Locked away. The true history of his people, like a festering wound broken open. Odin...
I love you, my sons.
Lies.
Asgard in ruins.
Betrayal.
Nothing to return to.
Loss.
Round and round and round again. For what?
And through it all there was Thor. Always the golden child. Always the hero. Bumbling, idiot Thor.
You could be more.
How dare he.
Loki seethed. There was no defense. No way to soothe himself. Just the silence and a well of simmering rage.
And those words—again and again—like acid on his heart.
You could be more.
...   ...   ...
"Are you sad?"
Loki nearly leaped out of his skin. The little witch was standing at his elbow.
"What?"
"Are you sad?" she repeated, enormous eyes unblinking. "You appear unhappy."
For a moment he could not respond. Emotion backed up in his throat. Rage and pain. Something else. How long had it been since anyone asked him how he felt?
Since Frigga.
"I would be happier if you unlocked the controls."
"No, thank you," she replied. "Will you sleep? Your form is depleted."
Abruptly, he became aware that he was exhausted.
"There is a bed," she continued. "There."
Loki turned. She pointed to a panel in the floor.
"Perhaps you will carry Sigyn."
He opened his mouth to respond, but she was gone.
Rude.
A bed did sound rather wonderful, however. He rose, stepping carefully around the unconscious woman on the floor, and pulled up the panel. The lights came on instantly—two little rows along the floor, leading away from the steps directly below the opening, and more along the walls. They revealed a surprisingly large living chamber. Easily as big as the flight deck.
He lifted Sigyn and carried her down the steps, spotted the bed in the far corner and deposited her there on the rumpled blanket. She sighed and her head lolled to one side. Her eyes were ringed in shadows. And her lips were too pale.
He thought about undressing her and decided not to. A moment later he relented somewhat and removed her boots, socks, and jacket. She looked so vulnerable, lying there in a thin cotton undershirt with her feet naked and her hair lying in a tangle against her cheek. It made him feel strangely guilty, so he tucked her under the blanket and promptly looked away.
The front end of the ship was a single floor-to-ceiling window looking out on naked space and drifting stars. The wall behind the bed was lined with shelves. There must have been some kind of gravity shield on them because they were full of books and colorful bottles and odd little carvings, all of which seemed to be in order. The opposite wall boasted a series of inlaid drawers and door panels, and there was a low table with a computer console set into the center of it.
At the back of the room, he found a narrow door leading to a bathroom, which he made use of before inspecting the computer console. It beeped and flashed red just as the main console had done when he tried to use it
He might have snooped some more if he hadn't been so tired. But the bed was rather large—large enough to comfortably accommodate two people, anyway—and the bedding itself delightfully luxurious. He settled next to Sigyn and found himself breathing in her scent. It was unidentifiable—soft and earthy and slightly floral. Oddly relaxing.
He was asleep in minutes.
... ... ...
Sigyn woke the sensation of a very full bladder and the murmur of the entertainment system. Lifting herself from the mattress was like rising from a vat of molasses.
"You're awake."
That deep, velvety voice would have jolted her if she hadn't been mid sleep-cycle. As it was, she felt a swimming sort of disorientation.
Loki was in her bed, leaning back against the headboard, long legs stretched out and crossed elegantly at the ankles, hands tucked behind his head.
"She is not done resting. Are you, my Sigyn?"
Mad was perched on the end of the mattress near Loki's feet. Beyond her, the console projected an episode of Game of Thrones at full size, filling the front window from floor to ceiling and making it opaque.
"Loki has never watched Earth T.V. before," Mad explained.
Too muzzy to respond, Sig turned and clambered over the Asgardian on her way to the bathroom. Her knee buckled as soon as her foot hit the floor, however, and for just a moment she found herself looking down into startled blue-green eyes as she sat straddling Loki's hips.
"Sorry," she mumbled, scrambling off.
"No harm done." He sounded amused.
In her haze, that voice was almost too much—like a physical touch, rasping along her senses. She wanted to tell him not to speak, but she was already in the bathroom and that would be a weird thing to say anyway.
Don't talk because your voice makes me feel like a raw nerve.
"No, I can't say that," she mumbled. "Stupid." And then she knocked several bottles off the shelf beside the sink while trying to get her pants undone.
"Are you alright in there?"
Agh! Why does everything he says sound like a caress? "No! Go away!"
"No?"
Before she could muster a response there came a reassuring murmur from Mad. Sigyn managed to finish her business without further incident but realized upon emerging that she would have to climb over Loki again to get back in bed.
He was lying there propped on her pillows just the way he had been. He looked at her expectantly.
And then it occurred to her that she could just walk around the end of the bed and get in that way.
He chuckled.
Sigyn burrowed under the covers and turned her back to him, dropping almost instantly into boneless sleep. She was distantly aware of the two of them for a little while—their voices and the murmur of the show in the background.
Actually, it's nice, was her final semi-conscious thought before deep sleep took her.
... ... ...
The next time she woke it was quiet and dark. And warm.
Very warm.
Her nose was pressed into somebody's chest, and a heavy arm draped over her side.
What the–?
Loki's arm. Loki's chest. Loki's slow, steady breath in her hair.
"Why are you cuddling me?"
He started. "I beg your pardon?" His voice was even deeper than usual, raspy with sleep.
Sig drew her head back to look up at him. "I said, why are you cuddling me?"
He blinked down at her in the dark. "You cuddled me first."
Well.
"Let go."
He lifted his arm and she rolled away, taking the covers with her.
And immediately felt bereft.
Stupid. What's the harm in a little cuddle?
...With the personification of Trouble.
Right.
"I don't suppose I might negotiate the return of the blanket?" he asked. Politely.
"Aren't you Jotun? Do frost giants get cold?"
There was a pause, and then he replied icily. "This one does."
Okay. So the Jotun thing was clearly a sore spot with him. Interesting.
Sig squirmed out of the tangle of bedding and flung one end of the covers in his direction.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Silence, and the sound of his breath, slow and steady. Not sleeping though. His heat crept across the space between them and gathered under her side of the blankets.
"How long have I been asleep?" she asked quietly.
"Ninety-eight hours, give or take."
Yikes. She's gone far too long without. And then there was that incident with the big Asgardian.
Right. That.
"Did I... kill your brother?"
"Highly unlikely, though I wouldn't fault you if you had."
Okay.... "Glad to hear it."
More silence and the sound of Loki shifting minutely against the mattress. The blankets moved, shifting over her legs. Her bare legs.
"Um...Why am I not wearing pants?"
"You left them in the bathroom the last time you woke up."
"Ah."
There was a long beat of silence and then he said, "You talk in your sleep."
Great. "What did I say?"
"Something about coffee and epic poems."
She giggled.
"Also, you called me 'Sugarbottom.'"
"What? I most certainly did not."
"You did."
"I have never—and would never—make use of the word 'sugarbottom' for any reason."
"Mm. I found it a little disconcerting myself."
Sig pressed her face into the pillow.
"I assume you were dreaming of an old boyfriend."
Laughter bubbled deep in her chest. "Please, stop."
"That would also explain the uninvited cuddling."
"Oh my God."
Silence.
Two beats. Three. And then, "Ye-es?"
Sig turned and threw a pillow at him.
He caught it. Chuckled.
When after a few moments he didn't speak again, she relaxed into the mattress, still smiling. Then she found herself wondering idly if he actually liked to cuddle or he'd only been accommodating her.
Abruptly, she rolled back towards him. His eyes were open, looking down at her.
This is dumb, Sigyn.
"Just cuddling," she said, heart beating a little fast. "If you don't mind."
His brows rose. A moment later he lifted his arm. Sigyn squirmed closer and he draped his arm over her side again.
There was a long silence. Sig was very aware of the sound of his heartbeat. He smelled good. And his chest was delightfully broad.
"In the aether..." he trailed off.
She tilted her head to look up at him. "What?"
"You said, 'It's been a long time since I touched anyone.'"
Oh.
For the life of her, she could not think of a response.
"Perhaps I could—" he began.
"Nope."
He sighed.
Sig bit her lip. It really had been too long. And he was so warm. And male. And... She squirmed a little closer, allowing herself to rest lightly against the length of his body.
Wow. "Um..."
"You started it," he said defensively. "It's a perfectly natural reaction."
"Reaction to what? I haven't done anything!"
"You're barely dressed," he accused. "And you're not wearing any undergarments. Also, there's the cuddling, which you initiated. Twice."
"I have panties on!"
"I can see down your shirt."
"You can not. It's dark in here."
"I have excellent night vision."
The neck of her shirt was gaping, she realized, covering herself with one hand. "Have you been perving on me while I was sleeping?"
"Perving?"
"You know exactly what I mean."
"I haven't laid a finger on you," he growled in affront.
Sig subsided into mistrustful silence.
"I may have looked," he said, again in that defensive tone, "But looking is not a crime."
"Oh my god, you were perving on me!"
"Stop using that obnoxious word," he grated. "I've been a perfect gentleman. I could hardly fail to, given the constant proximity of your little friend—Not that I have any interest in...in accosting unconscious women."
She fought not to smile. "You sound like such a prig right now."
He made a sound of pure exasperation. "First I'm a pervert, and now I'm a prig? Make up your mind."
She had, though. Suddenly her mind was very made up indeed.
"Mad," she said, speaking to the empty room. "Privacy, please."

Landing the Bowie on Earth to find the legendary Kevin Bacon wasn’t something Mantis did often. But when she did, it was with Drax. The landing would have been more successful had Drax remembered to make the ship appear invisible, but he forgot, only doing so after she reminded him… when it was too late. Humans already saw them. An argument ensued, and Mantis asked Drax to stay inside the Bowie while she went looking for Quill’s present. She knew she would find a way to get to Kevin Bacon. She had to. She couldn’t just be a bad sister forever. Sometimes she had to do the right thing, like stalking and kidnapping a man to put him inside a box wrapped in Christmas-themed paper. Mantis just wanted Quill to feel better. Recovering from the loss of Gamora was being the hardest mission for the Guardians so far.
Earth was a really pretty planet, although it seemed that some humans didn’t appreciate its beauty, but it was okay; she wasn’t going to tell humans what to do with their planet. The nature in it was beautiful, and Mantis couldn’t help but beam. Especially when she casually saw Thor.
“Hi Thor,” she greeted him absentmindedly. But then, she stopped walking. “Thor?” What was he doing on Earth? He left the Guardians not so long ago. Maybe the Avengers were being formed again? That could only mean there was a new threat. Was it bad? In any case, questions could wait. “Thor!” she exclaimed, running in his direction. Mantis leapt onto him for a hug; maybe he still needed affection as much as he did when he was part of the team. “I’m so happy to see you!”
The event that killed half of them all had not claimed Thor’s life, and Mantis remembered the sheer guilt the god of thunder felt. He felt like a failure all day, every day. He also lost his fellow teammates Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff. He missed them, and mostly he missed his best friend Heimdall. And his brother Loki. And his mother Frigga. And his father Odin. Stars, Thor had lost everyone, and Mantis just wanted to ease his pain again… But the man she was hugging only felt confusion, and-
Mantis pulled away from the hug, landing on her feet and taking a few steps back cautiously; her powers giving her a little bit of context. “You’re not Thor,” was all she said, her expression surprised and confused. What the fuck, was what Rocket would’ve said had he been there. Suddenly she remembered something. Thor mentioned that his brother Loki was a shapeshifter. He could change appearance; pretend to be someone else. Mantis found the ability a bit unsettling, since it was something Ego could do, too, but according to Thor, Loki was the god of mischief, so it was in his nature, just like Thor was the god of thunder. And from what Mantis was seeing, Loki had taken the appearance of his brother.
Oh, Thor was about to be so happy.
“Loki,” she whispered, before leaping for another hug. “Loki! You’re alive! It’s so nice to meet you!” Mantis exclaimed with half a sob half a laughter, tears in her eyes. She had to contact Thor immediately. From what he said, Loki had faked his death once or twice. Faking it again to survive Thanos had been a smart move, Mantis thought, but… Thor missed him. Terribly.
She pulled away, suddenly realizing that she was not hiding the intensity of her emotions. “Sorry, um… I am Mantis. I am friends with your brother. He thinks you’re dead! He thinks that Thanos…” Mantis briefly wrapped a hand around her throat. “You know.” The memory was probably not pleasant, so she did not go into detail. “Why are you posing as Thor? Is it to hide from Thanos? He’s dead! You’re safe, Loki. Come on, show yourself!” Mantis knew what Loki looked like; she had seen him in Thor’s memories. But she still wanted to actually see him, just because she was so happy Thor had some family left. She would have liked to meet Thor’s loved ones, and now she had the chance to meet his brother. But… the man in front of her did not change appearance. “Loki… Don’t be afraid. Show yourself,” she repeated softly. “I’ll help you reunite with Thor. He misses you.”
(LOL, I’m sorry but since you mentioned how Mantis could react meeting Basch since he looks like Thor, I had to let them meet just to see what she would do and I’m- 😭 She greeted him as two different people. That’s my girl!)
__________
{OMGGG! XD Okay but this is honestly so sad, like… Poor Mantis got so happy thinking she’d found Loki and how happy Thor was going to be. T^T. Thanks for that punch to the gut, my feels are not thanking you right now, haha. Basch is so confused but is also like…. hmm, very awkward and I’m about to disappoint this person big time, heh. Also, lol Mantis just throwing greetings at the wall to see which one sticks, I’m dying. XD But seriously I’m here like… Basch needs a new team… Mantis has a team……. *starts mushing them together* TEAM UP! XD}
Basch had returned from the Blip to find Noah five years older still than he. After the past five thousand, one might have thought a mere five would be nothing, but to have his brother returned to him only to see him disintegrate and cease to exist… well, Noah had not taken it well. After having acclimated as best he could to a world most unfamiliar, finding out that Ashelia had suffered his same fate of waking up in a completely different time and world, and discovering that Noah had survived – in a manner of speaking – for five millennia while they were frozen by magic, Basch had then faced a threat that made most in Ivalice seem… minor at best. Thanos, a great tyrant with designs on thinning out the universe’s population for misguided and decidedly psychopathic reasons, had actually succeeded in doing so. The result was that Basch was promptly dusted.
Five years later, Ashelia was living in New York City, in an apartment Noah had helped her obtain. The Avengers… were no more. Several of their members were dead or otherwise gone forever, while others retired or moved on to other things. Suddenly Basch found himself without purpose, employment, or authority to serve the public. He was… quite lost. The process of placing him with another team like the Avengers was slow and as-of-yet unfruitful, partly due to the lack of availability of such teams but partly because the Blip’s reversal had caused its own special sort of chaos that people were struggling to come to terms with.
Without the strong sense of purpose Basch had always carried with him, his mental health suffered. He tried not to let it show, especially to Ashelia and Noah, who were both happy to have him back, inasmuch as either one of them chose to let their guards down to emote as much. If he could survive two years in Nalbina dungeon, he could get through this. He refused to burden them with his own struggles. Ashelia had grown older, more independent, and yet more acclimated to this world she lived in now, and for that Basch was grateful in part to Noah. He had helped the young woman in Basch’s absence, and since he was used to this time period, probably more than Basch could ever had helped her even if he had lived through the Blip. He felt almost… unneeded. Extraneous.
Nevertheless, that did not make him lazy. He was keen to find work as soon as possible, but never imagined it would take this long. On one of his frequent outings into the city to look for some sort of appropriate employment, Basch was suddenly accosted by a woman who most definitely was not human. This… was actually uplifting to see. Ivalice, and certainly Dalmasca, had been a melting pot of various races, but upon arriving in this time, in this world… Basch found only Humes. He never realized how much he valued diversity until there was none. But seeing this being gave him hope that non-human races did exist still in the world, beyond those few created by Humes, such as The Vision had been.
Before he could otherwise react to her or greet her himself, though, she was all but launching herself at him. Basch… was not used to people reacting thusly to him. The first hug had been a shock. The second… had been utterly bewildering. He kept his arms from her, not wishing to touch her in any inappropriate fashion, while wondering what exactly was going on. As she spoke, he began to see where the confusion lay, and his heart sank.
“My good woman,” he said very gently, “I am deeply sorry if you have confused me with a lost loved one, but… I assure you my name is Basch, not Thor. And my brother’s name is Noah, not Loki. I have heard of Thor, however. I am told our countenances are somewhat similar, but alas, I am not he. I pray you, forgive the confusion.” Although he spoke the language well enough for anyone in NYC to understand him, his accent was not American. Or European. Or… quite like anything on Earth, currently. It was Dalmascan, decidedly, with a bit of lingering Landisian, and both lands had been lost long ago, five thousand years in the past.
Tumblr media
“Are you in need of assistance, good lady?” he asked with respectful politeness, still a public servant even without a formal title. “Are you looking for a particular location?” Or person, he almost added, but… it was clear that she had wished he’d been someone else. That made his heart ache quite a bit. To think that he had given her false hope of finding someone she had thought deceased, was not any sort of pain he wished to cause anyone, even if he did not know them. “I will assist you however I can,” he offered kindly, hoping to perhaps smooth over some of the confusion and help her achieve whatever task she came to this city to perform.

Avengers + others reacting to reader passing out/getting dizzy.
( headcanons )
REQUESTS ~ CLOSED
The whole team ( like everyone ) :
Peter and Bruce notice the signs first. The way your eyes are glazed over. Whoever is closest to you will grab your arm if you sway or stumble forward.
It kinda depends on why you're feeling faint. If it's because of sickness, Bruce will definitely give you an IV so that you start to get better
If it's because of not sleeping, don't be surprised if they drag you to your room and make you go to sleep for like the whole day.
If it's because you haven't ate, then everyone will start arguing over what you should eat. While everyone is arguing, Steve and Bruce sneak away to the kitchen and get you some chocolate and a glass of orange juice
If there's no reason, then they will make sure to have you sit or lay down. They will also always keep a closer eye on you.
Tony Stark
He probably will tease you about being clumsy. He might even make a little joke or comment about it. Once he realizes that you are dizzy, he instantly goes into action.
If you start to pass out and he cannot reach you in time, he'll have one of his suits get around you so that you don't injure yourself falling.
If you don't wake up pretty much immediately, he's going to get Bruce. He might joke at first but he's still worried about you.
If he does reach you in time, he's going to wrap him arm firmly but gently around your waist. Once your eyes slide close, he picks you up and waits for a few moments. If you don't wake up, he'll take you to Bruce.
Steve Rogers :
He's literally by your side as soon as you stagger to the left. He starts rambling off questions. Asking if you had eaten that day or if you are sleepy.
When you pass out from the overwhelming wave of vertigo, his worry triples. He checks your pulse quickly before picking up your limp form.
It doesn't matter if you were only unconscious for three seconds. He is still taking you to Bruce. He deeply cares for you and would never forgive himself if anything were to happen to you.
He also hovers slightly now. He wants to be close enough to make sure that you are feeling okay and not feeling like you are going to pass out.
Bucky Barnes :
" You okay there, doll?" He says as he moves closer.
Once he gets closer, he gets his answer. You feel the room spinning and you blindly grab whatever is close to you. Turns out is was Bucky's metal arm.
He positions his body to where his normal arm wraps around your waist. He doesn't want to hurt you with his metal arm. He guides you to the closest couch and gets a good look at you.
He is trying to get to the bottom of your dizziness when you end up losing consciousness. Bucky immediately yells for Bruce and checks your pulse.
When you wake up, you're in Bucky's bed, a IV in your arm.
" You gave me quite a scare there, doll."
Thor :
If you get lightheaded on Asgard he takes you to the healers immediately. He's is super worried about you. You mean the world to him.
If you get dizzy on earth, he takes you to Bruce. Will not hesitate to pick you up when he sees the way your eyes glaze over.
Will freak out even more if you end up passing out in his arms. He holds you close in his arms. If you are injured and pass out in battle, Thor is p i s s e d.
When that happens he will not hesitate to kill all nearby enemies, his eyes glowing a deep blue as rage clouds him.
Loki :
He'll react similar to Tony. He most likely will tease you about it and make some smart comments about it.
But the moment, your eyes flutter, he teleports to your side. He's a trickster and likes joking around sometimes. But, he will actually draw a line when it comes to your health or your well being.
Demands Bruce to make sure that you are okay. The good thing is, Loki can teleport/shape shift.
So if he notices from far away that you are close to fainting, he'll immediately be by your side, to make sure you don't fall.
May or may not tease you though.
" You fainted directly into my arms. If you wanted my attention, you did not have to resort to such extremes."
Stephen Strange :
Okay if it's before his accident, he will immediately check you out. He's also a " I told you so." Type of guy so don't be surprised if he scolds you.
He will be worried if you end up passing out. Will take you to the hospital but won't let anyone but him and Christine check you out.
If it's after the accident, then you are kind of in luck. He has been more aware of his thoughts. If he notices that you look like you are able to collapse, he won't hesitate to use his powers.
He'll freeze everything to get to your side. He'll resume time when his arm is snug around your waist. Does panic a bit if you end up passing out. Won't let you do anything for the rest of the day.
If you end up passing out before he can freeze time, his cloak will always beat him to getting to you. His cloak will keep you upright so that strange can pick you up.
Peter Parker :
He could sense something was off. He was worried as he made his way to your side.
" Y/N, you oka-"
You fainted out of nowhere, your eyes rolling back in your head as your knees buckled. He was able to stop you from falling.
He had caught you with a web, a string of strong material had latched on your back. This was good enough until peter was able to get in front of you. You slumped forward in his arms.
" Mr. Stark? What should i- d-d-do?" Fear was evident in his eyes.
" Hold tight, kid. I'll get Bruce."
You awaken three minutes later and Peter has tears in his eyes. He thought you were gone forever.
Bruce Banner
Instant worry. As soon as he notices you start to sway unsteadily on your feet, he's going to pick you up. He will do a thorough exam to try and get to the bottom of it.
If you do end up passing out, he'll catch you and lay your body on the exam table, making sure that you are comfortable. While he does your exam, he'll make sure to keep an hand on your hip to make sure that you won't end up slipping
He feels better if he can find a reason behind your fainting. However, if he can't, then he'll will just make a habit of checking up on you more to see if you are feeling okay.
Natasha Romanoff :
She was already super protective of you. She felt really worried when she noticed what state you were in. Discreetly wraps her arm around your waist and supports a good portion of your weight.
Her grip tightens on you when your knees start to buckle. If you end up passing out, she will lift you into her arms and go in search of Bruce.
She won't leave your side while you are being attended to. She will also hold your hand while you are out. This is so you will recognize her when you wake up so you won't be alone.
May or may not use you feeling dizzy as an excuse to cuddle extra close to you. That way if you do end up passing out she will be close to catch you. + More affection.
Wanda Maximoff :
If she cannot reach you in time when you begin to lose consciousness, she will definitely use her powers. She would levitate you as gently as she could.
It also depends on where you feel dizzy at as well. If you feel dizzy but you are out and about, she will discreetly being you close and wrap her arm around you to keep you upright and steady.
If you start to feel lightheaded at the compound, Wanda will fully use her powers to make sure that you are safe. She will also carry you to bed.
Will not let you get up unless it's to go to the bathroom.
Vision :
Starts asking you questions while guiding you to the nearest soft surface. If you do end up passing out, he will pull you into his arms. He will time how long you are out for. If it's longer than a minute, he's taking you to Bruce.
Also keeps you a little snack stash for whenever you feel lightheaded or feel faint. You have also noticed that he is starting to hover more ( literally and figuratively ). If he notices you start to sway, he'll go right behind you and gently grab you so that you lean back against his chest.
While doing this, Vision will also discreetly check your pulse and temperature, but most times when he does that you are too out of it to even notice.
Just naturally worried about you. He wants you to be happy and healthy so he always makes sure to ask if you are feeling alright. You should also use it to get more cuddles out of him. When you cuddle up to him suddenly out of the blue, he will immediately ask you if you are alright.
Sam Wilson
Takes you to Bruce immediately. No like for real. And don't even get him started if you do end up passing out. Sam loves you so much so he's going to make sure that you are good.
Definitely makes you eat real food. None of that instant stuff. Even if he has to make it himself. If it's stops you from feeling faint, then he's willing to do that for you.
CUDDLING.... MORE CUDDLING.
He is definitely one of those people who loves cuddling with their s/o. If you do end up passing out, he will definitely be taking you to Bruce.
If there is no reason for your fainting then Sam will put you in bed. He will also make sure that you are as comfortable as he can make you. He will also have your favorite snack/food and/or movie ready.
Might make a joke or two about it.
Clint Barton :
( I forgot him oops )
Okay, he's like a mix between Natasha and Tony. He would tease you a little but like the instant he sees that you are looking a little out of it, he kinda panics. He definitely hovers close to you. However long this spell goes on, he will have both hands on you.
Will drag you to Bruce of he has to. He doesn't play around when it comes to your health. Once Clint has you steady he will crack a joke or two after make sure that you're good.
" I guess you could say you're falling for me."
Is a lot more hesitant for you to go into battle. He's now like ten times more protective of you, especially if the enemies know about your fainting spells.
He feels a little better about it if there's a reason behind you feeling woozy. Of it's something that can be fixed like eating enough, he'll make sure he always has snacks/drinks on him when you are around. He'll pull you into his lap and will make sure you are straight .

Surprise Pregnancy - Marvel
Summary: Head cannons for how the MCU boys would react to an unplanned pregnancy.
Warnings: mentions of sex, mostly fluff, all characters are pro choice, swearing, slight angst, mentions of cigarettes, mention of breeding kink.
A/N: this is gonna be like the one I did for the HP boys.
Steve Rogers
Okay lets be honest I think that man wears a condom AND pulls out bc he will take NO RISKS.
Until after you’re married, of course.
Then its a sometimes condom sometimes morning after pill type beat.
Its not that he doesn’t want a kid, he just wants to wait until someone isn’t trying to kill him every day.
Steve, who usually has pink cheeks and relaxed eyes, went cold and clammy when you mentioned a late period.
Home tests weren’t really around for him, so he’s used to hearing about cycles and the science of that.
Man gets out a full calendar to get to the bottom of this.
“Okay so if you got your last one here, and then the next one here, your cycle will last about 29 days. Meaning you should have gotten it here but its now two weeks past that point-“
He probably has one of the girls take you to the doctor to get a test.
But he is happy asf when he gets your call.
honestly Steve is from a generation where they gave a kid a Marlboro and called it childcare.
Within 9 months he has tried to give you: Coffee, deli meat, the cheese you can’t eat, sushi, any type of soda to ever walk this fucking planet (plus Thor trying to give you soda from those bougie planets)
He will not buy a book. Don’t even try to ask him.
Although the apartment is small, its much better than the tower.
Steve is waiting outside during delivery. Support from the hall!
He want’s to name your kid after his dead relative with an old persons name 💀
“We are not naming our child Edna.”
“Is Ashley much better??”
The way this man is so incapable of holding a child in a way that doesn’t make you feel like he’s gonna drop it.
Lowkey afraid of babies tbh
Parenting styles clash of course.
“No I didn’t plug the ‘ wall socket protectors ‘ in. Back in my day-“
Bucky prob the Godfather.
Overall: Fun dad.
Bucky Barnes
He has a breeding kink but like….forgets that breeding produces a human.
Tbh I don’t think Bucky wants kids
Like they aren’t in the plan.
He wants to be the cool uncle.
Also his kids would physically be older than him at some point and thats kinda weird.
Anyways, he’s pretty shocked when you pop up with not one, but four positive tests.
man literally got up and went to another room, he couldn’t deal
ceo of needing to sleep on it
ceo of leaving his gf alone
He comes back all business
“Do you…y’know…want a….y’know?”
Man would pull it out himself if you asked him to I know that bionic arm could come in handy 👀
after many many many hours of talking, you decide the study should be the new nursery.
Oh boy is redecoration a fun time
“I love you, Bucky, but we cannot have world war II memorabilia in our baby’s nursery.”
not too happy about hanging it up in the living room bc he kinda wants to keep his age private yet he will not say “these were my great grandfathers
Probably carried around a sack of flour so he could learn how to hold a baby
RIP the first two sacks, they were dropped.
refuses to go to classes
will let you hold his metal arm in delivery tho
Steve’s the Godfather ofc
Bucky kind of treats the baby like another adult but…weaker.
He’s so weird around the baby
He adores it tho
Like falls asleep with them on his chest
slightly scary though because he can toss and turn so its good until panic sets in.
over all: fun but chaotic dad.
Loki Laufeyson
Honestly I can’t imagine Loki stays in the courting stage very long.
He’s probably married you, bedded you, and moved you in all within seven months.
And three months after that you’re pregnant with his (first) child.
He of course has wanted this practically since day 1
So when you show him the test sticks he was like 😃 what
then you had to explain what a midguardian pregnancy test was
he was ecstatic lol
Nursery done in a day
Theres gold.
Like
decorative gold
in a babies room.
He extra like that ig
He refuses to let you do anything. Need to stand up? He’s helping you do so.
Need water? conjured that bitch
the way he will not hesitate
He was in the room during delivery, his hand being crushed by yours
Agreeing on a modern name, still with roots to Nordic culture.
Loki wants more almost immediately
He keeps an eye on his baby all the time
and lets you sleep while he casts himself in the nursery to take care of the crying child.
He’s scared for Thor.
Like he knows Thor and your kid might get into some bullshit and he doesn’t want that.
uncle tingz
overall: Protective af
Thor Oddinson
Oh this is a wild ride, strap in.
Bro I know I said Bucky had a breeding kink but didn’t actually want a kid then?
Ok well Thor has a breeding kink and he means it.
You’re both prepared for a kid, so if it happens so be it.
He literally opened a window and screamed “A NEW HEIR IS FORMING!” when he found out.
Weirdo.
Still you weren’t exactly sure the two of you should be parents.
For one, the dining room was covered in smashed mugs.
But he loved you and you loved him, so you decided to keep it.
Complete opposite of Loki
Even when you’re struggling to get out of bed bc you’re so big hes like 👁👁 what
Anyways, he does help when he can.
He wants the kid to be a kid, like a normal non-king kid.
So the nursery is pretty modest.
Many earth tones, a lot of traditional norse decor.
He named the baby after his Mother, Frigga
The kingdom was so happy at the new addition to the royal home.
He prob started teaching her to fight as soon as she could walk.
He’s a very protective father
Loki and Frigga prank the hell out of him, teaching her magic and spells.
Overall: Proud parent
Peter Parker
Out of all of them this was probably the most unplanned.
You two are only starting your first year of university, still living in separate dorms.
Your period is like three weeks late.
You’re hoping its just stress.
Then the nausea kicks in.
So you do what any person in denial would do, you go to the campus clinic for an antibiotic or antiviral.
“Are you aware you’re with child?” bruh moment
Not sure what to do, you avoid your boyfriend for a whole week.
He corners you like “🥺 what happen”
so you break down and start rambling
“IwenttotheclinicandtheytoldmeI’mpregnantand nowIhavetodecideifIwanttokeepitornotandifyouleaveIdon’tknowwhatI’lldo.”
hes just like 😅 oh god
Hes supportive, even saying he’ll go to the ab*rtion clinic with you if that’s what you choose.
He doesn’t want anything to hurt you, so he takes over your course work for the time being.
Over the next two weeks you reach a conclusion; You’d like to keep it.
Peter is supportive of course, he always wanted to be a dad some day.
May is kinda disappointed ngl
But she is also supportive, even agreeing to lend a hand so you two can stay in school.
Luckily, you live in a time where parenting and school are able to be done at the same time.
You urge Peter to stay in normal classes so he can stay on track for his masters
You switch to an online program, spending more time at home.
Btw you moved into May’s for a bit
Because although she’d never been pregnant herself, she could take care of you.
Peter really did come over every weekend.
sort of off topic but if the spider bite changed his DNA, would his kid have powers?
Anyways, he was there during delivery and he fell in love with your kid as soon as they were born.
He decided to transfer to NYU so he could stay close
Shitty apartment down the hall from May = new home
overall: king shit

hi!! adore your work love. could you maybe do smth where stark!reader has to get her wisdom teeth out but HATES the dentist so she brings her boyf peter and her dad w her?? and then when they get home the avengers are all waiting with like comical amounts of flowers and stuffed animals and then reader says some funny shiii and thor thinks she’s like dying lol. idk if that made sense but i’m getting my wisdom teeth out soon and i’m scared😭 thank u so so much love u babe
pairing: peter parker x stark!reader
a/n: tysm lovely :,) i rushed through this like my life depended on it, but i hope i’m not too late. either way, i hope you’re okay! it’s frightening but those bad boys gotta go because we don’t need that kind of energy in our lives. enjoy x
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
wisdom teeth? more like wisdoom
y/n has to get her wisdom teeth removed and it’s the singular most dreadful thing she’s ever had to do, which says a lot because her dad is tony richling stark
doing dreadful things she doesn’t want to do but still somehow end up doing just because she can is a personality trait at this point
no one really makes a big deal out of it since ~death~ is part of their job description, but y/n is terrified
and when a stark is terrified the only thing that will keep them one step from insanity is researching the hell out of it
that information will be info dumped into every conversation for the next few weeks leading up to the appointment
“y/n you need anything from the store?” "no thanks, did you know the side effects of getting your wisdom teeth out include ✨sudden death or blood clots✨ tho” “……..i have a coupon?”
the day of the appointment, peter comes along and literally doesn’t let go of y/n’s hand. he keeps touching her to let her know that he’s there and it’s so. adorable
he would rest his hand on her knee, gently stroke her back while holding her, or just play with her hair
happy drops them off and he’s too Cool™ for emotions but he knows y/n’s a wreck, so he just fist bumps her with a single nod and she almost breaks down bc it’s really affectionate
y/n is sitting in the dentist chair and genuinely nothing is happening yet, but she’s squeezing peter’s hand like it’s a sponge
peter might have a high pain tolerance but he’s in pain pain and he prays that his hand won’t just explode on him
the dentist notices how peter tries to keep it together and chuckles
“you okay there, son?” “yea it’s fine, had a better time when a building fell on me tho haha” “pardon?” “oh i mean i didn’t have a good time, i just had a better time”
because y/n is running Anxious Town™, the dentist gives her a sedative to help her relax
plus, an injection of local anaesthetic to numb the tooth and surrounding area
she doesn’t feel anything and it’s GREAT
the procedure is quicker than expected and now the real fun begins
she tries to walk but she falls down so peter scoops her up bridal style and happy stays glued at her side
y/n doesn’t mind although she literally doesn’t recognise them and they’re practically strangers to her
but girly sees an opportunity and tries to flirt with peter bc why wouldn’t she
“you’re pretty” *blushes* “why thanks” “you should let your girlfriend know” “i should let her know i’m pretty?” “so you do have a gf? :(” “yea it’s you” “:)”
they stop for gas and peter goes in to get some water for y/n, and in her infinite wisdom, she decides it’s burger time
her mouth is completely numb and she’s practically leaving a trail of drool behind her, but she’d kill for a burger right now
so she wobbles around aimlessly for an hour on some random parking lot as if the ground might just magically open up like a rabbit hole and lead her to five guys
she’s going places. not back to the car. definitely not five guys. they’re closed. but places
peter finally finds her and he’s drenched from head to toe in sweat. he doEsn’T wAnt tO tALk abOut iT tho so she lets him take her to subway instead
normally, she would know that peter’s usual subway order is bread-lettuce-jalapeño
but in her drugged-up state, it had simply slipped her mind so now she’s staring at him like he’d just murdered someone right in front of her
“that- that’s your order?? no meat or anything just bread, lettuce, and a little spice?”
meanwhile at the compound, sam and steve are ordering everyone around bc they want to decorate this place before y/n gets home to surprise her
they take it very seriously too. they’ve watched like one HGTV show and said it’s our time
they finally get home and tony gives y/n a big hug, asking her what took so long
happy tells him that she was keen on getting burgers bc apparently someone has taught her that stressful times call for ~cheeseburgers~
he proceeds to look at tony with a pointed look
tony just shrugs and goes “she was a problem child. we don’t mention her dark past”
she’s swaying on the spot and keeps grinning like a fool and thor just stares at her weirdly before elbowing bruce and whispering loudly,
“what’s wrong with her? is she dying? should i start collecting leaves, i know this remedy—"
no one can tell if y/n is just happy to see the newly decorated home or if she’s just delighted to see everyone but then she goes around hugging the entire team
she doesn’t even acknowledge the sky-high pile of teddy bears and flowers everywhere bc she’s just squeezing everybody
y/n is so high, she just starts to spill all of her feelings about everyone and they’re already so overwhelmed by the hug chain they can’t take this too
“wanda i just want you to know that you’re like my big sister and you’re always taking care of me and i know you and vision are just going to make such good parents one day”
“bucky you absolute PRICK, you FIEND, you’re the best chess player ever and that’ll never change and i wouldn’t be good without you, i hate to say it but you deserve happiness even after you made me lose five times in a row yesterday”
“dad, you’re so strong and smart, even though we’re like never on the same page, you’re always along for the ride, i want to be like you when i grow up, i swear i’m gonna try to be as good to the avengers as you were to us” “aww- wait makes you think i'll be the first to die“
“nat you’re such a bitch about your protein shakes but you’re my best friend and i wouldn’t have it any other way, you can try out as many make up looks on me as you want”
“bruce, brucey, i would live with you in your lab for the rest of my days if i had to, whenever you ask me to hand you stuff i feel useful and important”
“laura’s way out of your league clint i have no idea how the fuck you got her but don’t lose her and i want to be your next child’s godmother”
“steve…we’re your family now. we’re always gonna be your family now. okay?”
“loki you’re not fooling anyone with your attitude, we all know you’re part of the family, you were just misunderstood and messed up bc of your dad–FUCK him by the way–but i realised everyone deserves as many chances as they need because of you”
“sam i would genuinely kill anyone who wronged you, even if they cut you in line at the grocery store, i would knife them no hesitation”
“thor, you poor golden retriever have been through so much, on my way here i made a wish on an eyelash for you bc you deserve better, your postcards always make my day, love you”
she mumbles something to peter that no one else can hear but he blushes and chokes back a sob
y/n orders hot soup and bucky brings it to her but before he even has time to react peter drops everything and ZOOMS across the room in .3 seconds
he barrels into bucky so hard they both go flying, but peter just smoothly rolls out of it and onto his feet like some kind of super ninja
“DUDE WHAT THE HELL” “😠 y/n is not supposed to drink hot liquids 😠”
all of this happens in mere seconds but sam has filmed it all and now slow mo clips go viral online of some mysterious kid knocking over the winter soldier
y/n’s a little in and out after that, but when she fully regains consciousness, she’s on a pile of blankets, surrounded by the team on the floor <3

let me know if this is actually comforting lmao stay hydrated pals

What I Missed - Loki Laufeyson
summary: while in custody at the TVA, loki realizes what he misses from the future, only to be surprised by what he gets in the present
word count: 2100+
warnings: a little angsty, a little emotional, mention of loki’s death, episode 1 spoilers
Tumblr media
Today was certainly not Loki’s day.
Over the course of a few hours (or more, or less, this is the TVA, afterall) he had been in the custody of the Avengers, had happened upon the Tesseract and escaped from New York. It seemed too good to be true, and it was. Just when he thought he had truly outsmarted the Earthly heroes again, he was imprisoned and taken again.
Now here he was, under the supervision of the Time Variance Authority and one, Mobius, a bizarre administrator in charge of tracking down the most dangerous of variants. It all seemed like madness to Loki. He was used to silly games and grandiose tricks but this story of timelines and space lizards seemed beyond even his own trickery. It seemed downright absurd. And annoying.
He had been subject to what he would call an interrogation. Mobius, however, called it a simple conversation. A slideshow of his life, his “greatest hits” as Mobius had called it and a relentless fire of questions, the memory of which continued to burn in his memory:
Should you return, what are you going to do?
King of Midgard? Then what, happily ever after?
King of Space?
Why does someone with so much capability just want to rule?
Do you enjoy hurting people?
That one had burned most of all. Did he enjoy hurting people? Hardly. And it was upsetting to him that anyone would think that. But he also understood what he appeared to be to every other living creature. He had just relived the moment in which he killed that daft agent and his mother. His mother. He refused to believe he was at fault for that. Frigga was the only person who truly saw him and whom Loki cared for deeply. But it seemed so clear in the moving picture, he had led them right to her.
It was in that moment, with tears and rage in his eyes, he knew he needed to get out of the disastrous time circus. He no longer cared to be a monkey in this ring. If he could find the tesseract, he could escape and be free once again.
That plan had gone almost perfectly. The only thing that went wrong - there is no magic in the TVA. No matter how many times he held the tesseract in his hands, wishing it to take him back to Midgard or Asgard, he was met with nothing but the bland walls in this TVA Time Theater. There was no hope in escaping.
Feeling exhausted, Loki slowly moves toward the table in the center of the room. He sits down and admires the machine in front of him. As grim as the stories it held could be, it was still quite fascinating that it could replay the highlights from his life - in a weird way, at least. He reaches out and turns the knob, searching for the moment his mother dies. He finds it and watches in silence for a while, tears beginning to fall down his face.
He turns the knob again.
He sees a future version of himself sitting next to his father and Thor. He watches as his father declares his love for his sons. Sons, plural. Both Thor and him. A small smile graces Loki’s face before Odin disappears, leaving the two men behind. Loki holds back a sob as tears continue to flood from his eyes. His father did love him, did see purpose for him. He wasn’t just the mischievous son. He’s sad that it took this long to understand that, and sad that he never got to experience this himself, even if a future version of him did.
Another turn of the knob.
This scene immediately feels different. He sees a garden, full of life, beautiful flowers blooming in every direction. He sees himself, sitting under a tree smiling next to a young woman. As the scene progresses he realizes this version of him is smiling at you. He lets out a small gasp when he watches the pair share a kiss and wipes the quickly falling tears from his cheeks. He had always loved you, but had never gotten the chance to tell you. The two of you had met through Thor, when he brought both you and Jane to Asgard. He had taken to you quickly, enjoying your similar sarcasm and humor - something that was scarce within his home realm. You, like his mother, had always seen the good in him and had understood his struggle. It was something he would never understand, you being of Midgard. You knew what he had done and had been there to see the destruction, but still saw him not as the God of Mischief or Earth Enemy #1, only Loki. He aches for the fact that he never got to feel the happiness his future self did, especially when it was happiness with you.
Turn the knob.
Loki and Thor stand in a room together. Loki lets out a small laugh in the midst of his tears, wondering how his oaf of a brother managed to lose an eye. Maybe a dumb bet between the two of them, maybe there was a battle amongst the nine realms. He’s quickly pulled from his thoughts as he hears Thor speak.
“Maybe you’re not so bad after all, brother.”
“Maybe not,” the future Loki responds.
“Thank you,” Thor replies, “If you were here, I might even give you a hug.”
“I’m here.”
Loki smiles and nods to himself. From where he’s sitting now, it’s a wonder that he and his brother ever made up. He realizes now that the fighting and the sibling rivalry may have all been in his head. He, again, curses himself for leaving New York and allowing himself to miss these moments that he’s been waiting his whole life for.
Fast-forward.
He and you lay in a room, seemingly on the same ship as the previous scene. You lay snug against his chest, his arms wrapped tightly around you. You hum softly before speaking up.
“I love you, you know.”
By the look on both of your faces, it’s the first time this has been said out loud. There’s nervous tension in the room, Loki can feel it through this screen. He somehow knows the words his future self is going to say before he hears them.
“I love you too, darling. You bring out the best in me.”
You snuggle closer to him, if that’s even possible, and there’s a comfortable silence for a few seconds. Loki takes a moment to admire this picture. It was something he had wanted since he had first met you on Asgard. You had stuck out like a sore thumb, dressed in your casual Midgardian clothes. He couldn’t have missed you even if he tried, nobody could have. And boy was he glad about that now.
“Promise me something,” he watches himself say.
“Anything,” you whisper. “Anything for you, Loki.”
“Promise me, no matter what, you’ll always help me see the good in myself. I’ve too long suffered at the hands of those who desperately wish for me to see the bad.”
You let out a laugh and the Loki stuck in time laughs with you, “Oh, Loki. I wish you could see yourself as I see you. But I promise.”
“Thank you, my love.”
“You, Loki, may be a God, but you will always just be the man I fell in love with. The good, kind, and honorable man I call mine.”
Turn, again.
Loki sees himself kneeling and before he can question why, he watches as his future self moves to attack someone in front of him. When Loki realizes it's Thanos, he’s quickly on his feet, moving closer to the screen. The tears are gone now, and a silent rage burns behind his eyes. There was nothing from Loki but hate for the purple titan. He watches in horror as Thanos picks Loki up from the floor, a death grip on his neck. Loki wonders to himself how he would get himself out of this scenario had he been there. He assumes an illusion would do the trick. However, he notices your distraught figure behind the mad titan. He can hear your screams as you kneel next to Thor, who is imprisoned in cuffs. He hears you call out to him and he knows this will not end well. His suspicions are right when he watches his death. A shocked gasp comes from his throat as the tape in front of him runs out, nothing left to show.
Loki quickly sits back down and closes his eyes, trying his hardest to process the vision he saw. To one version of him, these would have been experiences and now memories. To him, though, these were all subtle tastes of a life he lost. He lost a touching moment with his father and a long awaited declaration of love from him. He lost the reconciliation with his brother and the confession that they had been more partners than rivals. Even though to him it had not yet happened, he missed it all, and it upset him deeply.
What hurt Loki the most was the idea that he lost his chance to feel his love reciprocated. Loki had never had much luck with romance. He was often seen as the sly younger brother and was usually too occupied to try and compete with Thor for the maidens at court. When he met you, he thought he had a chance. You were the first woman who saw him as his own person and not just as Thor’s brother. The relationship between the two of you had blossomed quickly and he found himself always sneaking away from his princely duties to see you. He had shown you his favorite places in Asgard and had opened up to you in ways he had never done before. He loved you and wanted you to be his. His one regret was not initiating a relationship before you had left for Midgard. And he thought his chances had been ruined by his actions in New York. Oh, how wrong he was.
Before Loki can dwell on his future more, Mobius comes bursting into the room.
“Ah Loki, glad you made your way back here. I have something for you,” he says.
“If this is another one of your tricks, I’m not currently in the mood,” Loki responds coolly.
“Just trust me on this one.”
Mobius shouts over his shoulder for someone to “bring her in.” Loki eyes the guards who walk in suspiciously until he notices who they bring with them. He can hardly believe his eyes. The gods in all the realms must be smiling down on him today, after all, because there you stand. He takes in your hideous red and white space suit, emblazoned with the Avengers logo, and he’s at least thankful he missed whatever battle this suit was required for.
He quickly stands and rushes over to you, a smile quickly gracing his face. You meet his gaze with a smile that is just as big and tears begin to flow from your eyes.
“Loki,’ you start. “Is that really you?”
He nods and speaks, although his words are barely audible, “It’s me, my love.”
“God, I thought I lost you forever. That’s why I went back in time to find you.”
Loki nods, now, unable to believe what he’s hearing, “You went back to find me?”
“Yes, but look what good that did me,” you say with a smirk. Loki’s heart pulls and he feels he could fall over right there. Norns, he missed you and your witty humor.
“Well,” he says, reciprocating your sly attitude, “You found me did you not? I might not be the same Loki as you knew, but I am still Loki.”
“The good, kind, and honorable Loki that I call mine.”
Loki smiles and you move forward to give him a hug. You’re cautious, though, because you aren’t exactly sure what part of the timeline this Loki came from. Maybe you had already been dating, maybe not. That was something to figure out another time though.
“Alright then,” Mobius says from behind you, “Let’s get you two caught up on what you missed with each other.”
Today was certainly not Loki’s day. And he had cursed all that was good that he had ended up at the TVA, taken from the life he knew. But now? He didn’t mind. He knew the relationships that were broken with his brother and father had been mended, he knew that one version of him had sacrificed himself for good and he had you, not only in memory but in the flesh. And sure, you had lots to rediscover within your relationship, but you would do that together.

Just Hold Me
I had a dream that got stuck in my brain, so I decided to turn it into a Loki x fem!reader fanfic. Here it is. Please be gentle this is the first but of my writing I've shared.
Pairing: Loki x fem!reader
Summary: After a rough battle fighting with the Avengers you skip the party to recover in your room at the Avengers tower. There you're visited by a drunk Thor and a comforting Loki.
Word Count: 2.5k
Warning: non consensual kissing, mention of assault, pain, mention of death, they all need therapy
What to expect: Me turning a dream into a Loki fluff therapy session.
Tumblr media
From your room in the Avengers tower you could still hear the sounds of the party. Another victory for the team meant another raging party to celebrate. You loved a good party, but you had taken a few too many hits during the mission and had chosen to head back to your room.
A knock sounded at your door, "Y/N, are you there?" You heard the gruff voice of Thor.
The god of thunder and his brother Loki had become members of the team after defeating the Dark Elves in London. There had been a drunken night when Loki confessed to you he had considered faking his own death and stealing the throne of Asgard. But Loki had chosen to help fight, winning the battle and the approval of the Avengers. Not everyone had accepted them completely, but you understand that people were capable of change and had become friends with the pair.
"Y/N?!?" Thor called again, pounding a little harder on the door.
You rise from your bed and walk to the door, opening it you find a very clearly drunk Thor. It took a great deal of drinking to get the god drunk. You chuckle thinking about how much he must have consumed, but then notice that his eyes are full of tears.
"Thor, what's wrong?"
"Can I come in?"
Normally you didn't let anyone into your room. You were a fairly open person, happy to share, but your room was your safe place to get away and recharge. Standing there, leaning slightly against your door frame Thor looked completely broken, so you open the door and gesture for him to enter. Leaving the door open you follow Thor into the room.
You weren't sure how to handle having a guest in your room. But Thor walked over and sat on your bed, like he owned the place. "I'm sorry to bother you, I just, I was at that party and everything was good. You know we had that Asgardian wine brought in, so much better than anything here on Midgard. But then I saw a woman in the crowd that looked just like her. And I thought, I don't know, I thought maybe she had only faked it, maybe she'd just been lost and now she'd come to find me. I ran over to her, but the woman was just some stranger."
From your spot learning against the wall you asked, "Who do you mean? Jane?"
"Ha, I've lost her too. I seem to lose everyone I care about. But no. I thought I saw my mother"
That broke your heart. That same drunken night when Loki had confessed thinking of faking his own death, you two had also talked about Frigga's death. Unsure how to comfort the god then you had sat with Loki, holding his hand while he cried. Loki had been so close with Frigga, a part of Loki had changed when the guard had delivered the news of her death. Being in prison unable to even attend the funeral had stirred a desire to be a better person in Loki.
Even though you had seen Loki's grief, somehow Thor had seemed stronger, less affected, but Frigga was his mother, too. The loss of a parent is a terrible thing to deal with no matter how strong of a person you might appear to be. And clearly alcohol made the Asgardians emotional wrecks, because here now was the god of thunder sitting on your bed, body racking with sobs.
You sat down next to Thor, reaching to take his hand. Instead Thor pulled you into a crushing hug. Your first instinct was to pull away from the pain, you had really taken a beating in that fight. But Thor was your friend and he was hurting inside, so you relaxed. Rubbing circles on his back, you whispered "it's ok, you're ok" while you let him cry on your shoulder. The two of you sat like that for a long while before Thor released his hold on you.
You were about to ask Thor if he was feeling better, when he looked down at you and leaned in to kiss you. A million thoughts ran through your brain all at once. Fear struck you the strongest, and you scrambled away, backing up until your back was against the headboard. "What are you doing?"
"Um, kissing you," Thor said as he crawled toward you, hovering over you he leaned to try and kiss you.
"Well, stop it" you put your arms in front of your face trying to push him away. "Stop it, stop it, stop it"
Thor's strong arms easily push your own hands out of the way. But just as Thor leaned in towards you, he was ripped from on top of you.
Frightened, you look up to see Loki shoving Thor away, placing himself between you and Thor. "The lady told you to stop. What has gotten into you brother?"
"You don't know anything stupid brother, just leave us alone" Thor lunges for Loki, but Thor is still far too intoxicated to stand a chance in a fight. Loki easily pushes back and Thor nearly crashes into the wall.
Before Thor can lunge again Loki summons a pair of daggers and points then at Thor. "Brother you're drunk. You need to calm down. I don't want to hurt you, but if you try to hurt Y/N, I'll have no choice."
"Brother you wouldn't dare."
Loki points the daggers more directly at Thor "I don't know what is happening here but you know that I will do anything to defend a lady's honor."
"Oh, so you're just such a hero now? A perfect little prince charming? You're not defending anything. You're just jealous because Y/N invited me into her room and not you."
You stand up, careful to stay behind Loki. "Thor, nothing was going to happen between us. You came to me, crying and I offered you a hand to hold because I knew you missed your mother. You hugged me and I let you because you are my friend. But that's it. You are my friend and I don't want any more than that. You should thank Loki for keeping you from doing something you'd have regretted."
"You think I'd regret kissing you?"
"No, I think you'd regret kissing someone who didn't want to be kissed. You'd regret taking advantage of someone you cared about."
"I, I thought you'd want to kiss me"
"You buffoon, not everyone wants to have their face crushed in by your giant head."
"Hush Loki," you walk toward Thor, Loki tries to pull you back behind him but you touch his arm gently, and step forward. "Thor you know I do care about you, but I don't feel that way about you. Look, I know you have had a lot to drink tonight. And you have a lot of emotions running through you. I mean you thought you saw your mother, that has to be really hard to deal with. But you made a mistake."
"I thought, I just. Uh, I'm sorry"
"I know. Right now I think it is best if you go back to your room, get some sleep, and we can talk more in the morning, once you're sober."
"But,"
"You heard her brother. She is giving you a very generous offer. If you don't accept and leave now, I will make you. And I won't be nice about it."
With a final look at you, Thor leaves your room.
Once Loki is sure that Thor is gone, he sets his daggers down and turns to you. You register that he chose to set them down rather than magic then away, but chart it away as a question for later.
Approaching you, hands raised like you are an animal he is afraid to spook Loki asks, "Y/N, are you ok?"
"Yes, yes. I'm fine." Which is a lie, you're anything but ok. Unsteady on your feet, you nearly collapse.
Loki reaches to catch you and leads you to sit on the bed, "oh Y/N, what did he do to you? I'll kill him if he has hurt you."
"Thank you, but I'm actually just a little worse off than I thought from that fight today. All this has just made me extra aware of how tired I am."
"I'll go get Banner or Strange, or one of the others."
"No," you reach and grab onto his arm.
He looks down at the way your hands tremble as they hold onto his arm. "But, Y/N, you are unwell."
"I'm not sick. I'm not injured, well not more than normal after a fight. I'm just tired. Honest."
"Well then I'll leave you to rest"
But you only hold more tightly, "please don't"
"Don't what?" His breath catches as he looks down into your eyes.
"Please don't leave me. I don't, I don't want to be alone right now."
"Ok, I'll stay." Loki sits next to you, shifting his arm to take your hand. You rest your head on his shoulder and look at the interlocking of your fingers with his.
"Thank you."
"Thor is a buffoon, but I don't think he meant to harm you. He's not used to anyone not wanting him. Not that what he did was ok. I'm not trying to say it was ok."
"Loki, I know. I understand that he was hurting. And I guess I'm a beacon of comfort and he mistook that for romantic attraction. Honestly I think he would have stopped once he realized what he was doing. But I'm still so glad you were there."
Despite Loki's comforting hold, and the circles he was tracing with his long thumb, your hands still shook. "Y/N is there something more bothering you?"
Tears pricked the corners of your eyes. "When I saw your brother crawling towards me, I got so scared. I didn't see Thor, my friend. I saw that crazy guy from the factory today."
You could feel the moment the switch clicked and rage burned in Loki, "Wait did something happen? I don't remember a guy. Did this guy…, did he …, do something to you? I will end him."
"Oh Loki, my sweet murderous Loki. You actually already did."
"What?"
"You probably don't even remember, it was the heat of the battle. I'd gone in to clear the next room when I got knocked down and bumped my head. When I woke up, one of the baddies was dragging me by my ankle into the office, muttering about a sweet reward. How much fun he was going to have with me. He was reaching for me when you stormed in. I don't think you even saw me behind the desk, but you grabbed the guy before he could touch me. I didn't see what you did to him, but I heard it and it sounded very bloody."
"Oh gods, Y/N, I had no idea you were there in the back office. That guy looked deranged, even if we hadn't all been given orders to kill on sight I would have killed that man. If I'd known you were there I'd have made sure you were ok."
"I hid under the desk until you'd left and then I ran straight back to the jet. I felt so bad for not helping more with the fight, but…"
"Y/N, no one would ever blame you for running. That's not something anyone should have to face. Oh gods, and then my stupid brother had to come in and loom over you."
"He didn't know."
"No but that doesn't mean it wasn't terrifying, just the same."
You can't find the right words, and simply give a small nod. After a second of silence the question pops back into your brain. "Why did you leave your daggers on my nightstand? Why didn't you magic then away like you normally do?"
"Oh, uh, I was going to offer to let you borrow them. Just in case Thor tried to come back and visit."
"That's really sweet, but I've never been good with knives. I don't know if I'd even know what to do with them."
"Hmm well is there anything I can do to make you feel safer?"
There was a moment when you thought about saying, no. Telling Loki you'd be safe with his daggers, and sending him back to his room. But you couldn't do it. You could not send Loki away. Not when he felt like the only safe thing in the world. A breath of air after you'd been drowning all night. So you asked what you really wanted, not caring that it made you feel vulnerable.
"Can you hold me?"
"Are you sure you want that?"
"Yes I'm sure. I mean if you don't want to, I won't make you."
Loki gingerly wraps his arms around you, until you squeeze him half to death and he returns with a proper hug. Still holding you he says "I just didn't know if you'd want to be touched after… today and then my brother"
"You are not a brutish villain and you are not your brother. Do not take this as anything but a compliment, but right now the fact that you're not a big oversized muscle man is really comforting. And well neither men got the chance to do anything because of you."
"Y/N, I am so sorry you had to go through all of this. But I'm really happy that you find me comforting. I have done some terrible things that I deeply regret. And I've been afraid for so long that I'd never be able to find someone who felt safe around me."
"Everyone in this tower has done things that they can't take back. Things they regret. Including myself." You breathe in the scent of Loki, winter frost mixed with leather and metal, wondering when that scent had become so comforting to you. "But for right now, your arms feel like home and I don't want to ever leave."
"I will be here to hold you as long as you need."
"I'm going to take you up on that offer, because I might have a concussion, so you're going to have to watch me to make sure I don't die while I sleep."
"Humans are far too fragile."
"That we are. But that's an issue to deal with another day. Right now I just need you to hold me." You whisper as you lie yourself down, pulling Loki down with you. Carefully he wraps his arms around you pulling your little spoon body against his own big spoon body. Listening intently to your breathing as you drift asleep, Loki decides that he never wants to stop holding you.

Loki x Reader - Welcome Home to Westview
Warnings: WANDAVISION SPOILERS, mentions of death, angst and fluff  Word Count: 2,8K Summary: You join Wanda when she drives to Westview. Next thing you know, you’re reunited with Loki who you lost years ago because of Thanos. He’s there to welcome you home 1950s style and make up for lost time.  Author’s Note: This was requested and I absolutely loved this idea. I hope you like it! <3
Tumblr media
YOUR POV
When everyone came back, it had been a miracle. Everyone who had vanished during the blip. Everyone who had vanished when Thanos had singlehandedly taken away half of all life. Most people were happy to have their loved ones back. Most people got someone back.
But that wasn’t your case, nor was it for Wanda. She came back into a world without Vision, you had to keep living without Loki. You always knew that he had died differently. Thanos had killed him and you had witnessed it. You should’ve known just how real it was, that he was gone. Seeing it should’ve been proof enough in order for you to move on and let go. Yet somehow, when the portals opened you had dared to feel hope. Deep down, you had hoped he too would’ve walked out of the golden gates with everyone else, but you had been wrong.
He had never come back.
You and Wanda had grown close during your time as Avengers. Recently, the two of you had grown even closer because of your shared grief. The two of you understood one another deeply and it connected you.
That’s why you had joined Wanda today. She was headed to SWORD headquarters where they were keeping Vision’s body. Everything about it was unsettling and you too felt angry about it. Something about SWORD was fishy and you didn’t trust their motives at all, neither did Wanda. All she wanted was to have a funeral for the man she loved.
You had agreed to wait in the car as she walked inside, but you kept glancing at the entry just in case you would have to walk in to support your friend. Time passed and eventually Wanda returned to the car alone. Even before she sat down, you could tell things hadn’t gone too well. She slammed the door shut and put her hands on the steering wheel tightly.
“Are you okay?” You were concerned for her well-being.
Wanda didn’t reply immediately. Her eyes scanned the parking lot and then she looked at the papers she kept in the backseat. For a while, she seemed to be deep in thought and you decided not to push her. Eventually, Wanda faced you.
“There’s something I need to do,” She stated mysteriously.
“Do you want me to leave?”
“No,” Wanda sounded sure of herself, “I would like it if you came with me, if that’s okay.”
Usually, Wanda handled things on her own. She would push others away and never ask for help. But this seemed different. She was willing to accept your support, and you were more than happy to be there for her; no matter what.
“Okay, I’m right here for you, Wanda.”
Despite how frustrated and upset Wanda felt, she managed to smile. It was nice to have you by her side during such difficult times.
“Thank you, Y/N.”
The car ride was long, but it didn’t feel like it. Wanda and you weren’t talking and the car radio filled the silence. It wasn’t uncomfortable, yet you could tell that something had gone terribly wrong. Once Wanda was ready to talk about it, you would be there for her. For now, your presence was more than enough.
Since you didn’t talk, you tried to focus on the songs on the radio to distract yourself from your own, deep thoughts. Sometimes, they would get the best of you and right now, you wanted to stay tuned in the moment, not in the past.
Eventually, you drove past a sign that said Welcome to Westview. It was a small town, but nice nonetheless. It looked old. Buildings were worn and the streets looked like they had been used for decades. The town had a lot of family-friendly places and small shops. You saw an old lady drinking coffee by herself and a man putting up flyers. No one seemed to pay too much attention to you as Wanda drove by everything slowly. You noticed that Wanda was eyeing the street names closely. Was she searching for something?
It didn’t take too long until Wanda took a turn to a street called Sherwood drive and slowed down the car, eventually coming to a stop. You noticed the foundation of a house that had once been there. The neighborhood around you was full of family homes and it had a very warm and cozy energy. As nice as your surroundings were, Wanda looked like she wanted to cry.
“Can you stay here? I need to do something on my own,” Wanda finally broke the silence. How long had you been in silence? You weren’t sure.
“Yeah. Just let me know if you need me, okay?” You wanted to reassure her of your support.
Wanda just nodded and reached to the backseat to grab a paper. With one last glance at you, she got out of the car and closed the door. You sat comfortably on your seat and turned the radio on a little louder as she walked away. The song that was playing was familiar, but you couldn’t quite put your tongue on the name of it. The lyrics were beautiful and you found yourself relaxing to the melody.
“... If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I'd like to do, is to save everyday 'til eternity passes away just to spend it with you ...”
Naturally, you were worried about her. Wanda hadn’t spoken about what happened when she tried to recover Vision’s body. Clearly, things hadn’t gone too well. Had she even been allowed to see him?
As you sat there, you wondered how you would’ve felt if you had been in her shoes, if someone had Loki’s body and they wouldn’t let you have a funeral for him. Immediately, your gut twisted in disgust and pain. It seemed like a nightmare.
For all that you knew, Loki was somewhere in space, in the middle of nowhere, all alone. When the Guardians had heard the distress signal, they had only found you and Thor. Loki was nowhere to be seen. All the debris from the spaceship had made it nearly impossible to see and navigate through it all.
It had been years but it still hurt. Knowing he was left alone broke your heart, as if seeing him die hadn’t been soul crushing enough. You knew you would never get over losing Loki. He was and always would be the love of your life. Even if he wasn’t there, you always kept him in your heart. You were sure your very souls were connected. The love you had was just that deep.
Curiously, you looked out of the car window just to keep an eye on Wanda. She was standing in the middle of the ruins with the paper in her trembling hands. You couldn’t see what it said, but you knew it was important because once she looked at it, she broke down into tears. The sight of her there, all alone in so much pain was awful. For so long, she had been strong and kept on a tough face, but she had reached her breaking point. All the pain, the anger, the misery, it had gotten the best of her. You knew exactly how it felt and your first instinct was to get out of the car and go there to comfort her. How could you just sit there when she was sobbing on the cold hard ground all by herself?
When you got out of the car and looked at Wanda again, she was standing. Her powers were growing around her and a bright red light made you squint your eyes. What on earth was going on?
“Wanda?” You called out for her worriedly, unsure whether she could hear you from so far away. Her powers grew stronger at an alarming rate. You could feel just how strong the magic was and goosebumps rose on your skin. Something was terribly wrong and you knew things were getting out of hand. Despite how dangerous it was to approach something so chaotic and powerful, you tried to reach her. You never did.
Wanda’s powers were explosive. In the blink of an eye, her magic poured all around her and covered everything and everyone in sight. You remembered seeing that signature scarlet shade all around you and then everything went blank. It all happened so fast that you didn’t even have time to be scared, nor to use your powers to shield yourself from hers. The red swallowed you completely with no warning.
             What happened?
   How did I get here?
                                              ,
You stood in front of Wanda and Vision’s house. Despite not remembering anything at all, you just knew that it was where she lived. Why were you just standing on her lawn? That was odd. You couldn’t remember getting there, but strangely enough, it didn’t bother you too much. You must’ve just taken a stroll and ended up at your best friend’s house. As strange as it was, you didn’t think twice about it.
With a smile on your face, you straightened the skirt of your silky dress and looked at your heels to see that they were dirt-free and shiny. After all, your outfit was brand new and you didn’t want to get the dirty right away, now did you?
“You look more beautiful than I remembered,” A familiar voice caught your attention. Your eyes widened as you stood there, now in shock. It had been too long since you had last heard that voice.
“Do you not recognize me? Has it been that long?” Loki walked closer to you from behind.
You turned around because you had to see him to make sure you had heard right. When you saw him standing there, you felt overjoyed.
Loki was alive!
“Oh my god,” You could hardly believe your eyes.
Loki opened his arms wide, inviting you to a hug. Once the initial shock passed, you ran into his strong and loving arms. Loki embraced you just like you remembered he had done before. His oh-so-familiar scent filled your lungs and you were drunk on him in an instant. Tears stung your eyes and you closed them, allowing yourself to sink into his touch and be fully enveloped by him once again.
“I missed you so much,” You admitted and felt a warm tear rolling down your cheek, ruining your makeup but you didn’t care at all. Loki had seen you, all of you. With him, you could be completely vulnerable.
Loki planted a kiss at the top of your head, then your forehead and the tip of your nose. His soft hands cupped your cheeks and you opened your eyes just to face him. His eyes were mesmerizing and dangerous. With just one glance, you were lost.
“I missed you too,” Loki let you know sincerely. You didn’t know where he had been, or why you had been separated. All you knew was that it had been years and now you were together again. That was all that mattered and you refused to think about the logic of it all. It felt like you could hope again. You could be happy.
A gentle breeze played with your skirt and with your hair. Loki looked like a god as he stood there in his black suit and tie, with his long dark locks swaying in the wind. Your heart was so full of love again and you felt happy, so happy that you kissed him.
Your lips collided sweetly and Loki kissed you back with such fiery passion that you felt as if your soul was on fire. The kiss was so romantic that you knew if a crowd would’ve been watching, they would’ve aww-ed. It would’ve brought people to tears.
Eventually, you had to break the kiss so you could breathe. Once you did, both of you smiled like never before. Loki couldn’t let go of you and you didn’t want to let go of him either.
“Let’s go home, shall we?” Loki proposed happily.
Home.
The word made your heart swell with affection.
“I’d love that,” You admitted, your mind already thinking about all the possibilities. You shared a home and you could spend the rest of your lives there together. You could have your own little family. Nothing could come between you ever again.
Loki offered you his arm for you to hold onto, which you gladly did. Together you turned away from Wanda and Vision’s home and began to walk to your own home. Somehow, you knew exactly where to go, like you had walked that path a million times before.
The walk was so relaxing. You and Loki held onto each other so comfortably and watched your neighbours, greeting them as you passed by. Everything seemed so peaceful; perfect. It was exactly where you wanted to be for all the rest of your days.
“So where were you all this time?” You asked Loki curiously. After all, he had been gone for a while now. As you tried to think about it, you felt distracted by his touch and just the sight of him. It was almost like something didn’t want you to poke your brain with a stick, so you tried not to get yourself puzzled.
Loki raised his eyebrows and hummed by himself, as if he had to really think about it in order to remember, “It’s a long story, my love. One I’ll tell you all about once we’re home. How does that sound?”
“It sounds like a great dinner topic,” You hinted at him. Dining together was always the highlight of your day.
It didn’t take long to walk from Wanda’s house to yours. After all, you lived on the same street. Your home was beautiful. It was spacious, so you and Loki wouldn’t outgrow it anytime soon.
Loki let go of you and he rushed to open the front door to you. “Ladies first,” He smirked to you and then looked inside.
“You’re such a gentleman,” You couldn’t help but to feel appreciated.  Loki treated you like a queen, he always had. Then you walked inside.
Your eyes adjusted from the brightness outside to the dim lights inside. Loki closed the door and then you were both home. The place reflected the two of you so well, in every little detail. Someone had lit the fireplace when you were gone and you assumed it was Loki’s doing. Now that you were behind closed doors, you could use your powers without being seen.
“Did you-” Your sentence was cut short as you turned to face Loki again. He was standing behind you with a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. The sweet gesture took you by surprise and you forgot what you were going to ask.
“I know it isn’t much, but I want to make up for the time we lost. I hope this is the right path to your heart again, my love,” Loki explained as he handed the gifts to you, which you gladly accepted.
“Oh Loki, thank you,” You were moved by the gesture. “But I need you to know you’ve always been in my heart, and you always will be.”
Loki seemed relieved to hear those words, “as will you be in mine.”
Ding!
“What was that?” You were surprised by the sound that came from the kitchen.
Loki grabbed your empty hand and placed a soft kiss on your skin, “I do believe you mentioned something about dinner.”
Yet another surprise.
“When did you do that?” You were impressed by it all. He had really gone out of his way to make this day lovely - and you certainly weren’t complaining.
“A magician never reveals his secrets,” Loki replied with a grin and began to lead to you the dining room. You shouldn’t have expected any less from your husband.
“How very sneaky of you,” You rolled your eyes playfully. That’s when you noticed the lovely aroma in the air. Dinner smelled lovely and you hadn’t even seen it yet. Had he made your favourite?
Loki pulled a chair back for you to sit on. As you sat down, the plates, the food and all that appeared on the table out of nowhere just like magic. Yet another trick, one that was very useful too.
Your eyes followed Loki as he walked around the table and sat down opposite of you. Just then, the setting sun shone through the curtains. It brightened up the room beautifully and highlighted every beautiful aspect of Loki, especially his eyes. The sun was shining on you and dinner was ready.
“One more thing,” Loki remembered and quickly snapped his fingers, lighting the candles to set the mood, “now everything is perfect.”
He was right. Finally, the two of you were together under the roof of your home. What else could you have ever wished for?
“Perfect indeed.”

A/N: I hope you liked it! If you did, I would love to hear your feedback 🥺 I loved this concept so much that I want to write more, but for now I’ll keep this one short.

death of me.
| loki x reader | angst | fluff |
anon requested. Imagine s/o has the same powers like Wanda and after the death of Loki she made her own reality where he was alive.
a/n: this one took me a long time to get to, and I altered the request a bit, but here it is! ❤️✨
cw: mentions of death/murder (for the sake of humanity and otherwise), mentions of blood
Tumblr media
Loki’s death had changed you.
After losing the love of your life, you were never the same. You would’ve burned down the world for one more second with him. The grief ripped a hole in you, and you ripped a hole in reality.
That’s how you ended up in a fake Asgard, in a fake life, with a fake Loki. But it felt so real.
You were in love again, running through the halls of the palace in gowns, chasing your lover, the god of mischief. You squealed as he wrapped his arms around you, kissing you passionately.
“I love you!” Loki kissed your cheeks, making you shriek with giggles. Thor smiled at the two of you, the young lovers and leaders of the Aesir realm.
Your wedding was the biggest celebration the realm had ever had. White flowers filled the golden halls of the palace, stars glittering over everything. You were surrounded by everyone who cared about you, celebrating your starstruck love. Music, dancing, and feasting filled the city, the festival of your marriage bringing everyone together.
You and Loki were beloved leaders. Your subjects were always welcomed in the palace, and the gardens, surrounding you with love.
You and Loki sat on the throne, and he smiled as he placed his golden helm on your head. You giggled, magically changing your outfit to match his, green and black leather. Laughter echoed in the halls, and the royal guards watched you both in amusement.
Those were the happy memories.
Loki was stuck in the past, and you were stuck in your fake reality. The instruction of the Time Variance Authority weighed heavy on him. You have to kill Y/N. She’s a threat to space and time, and you must kill her now before she rips a hole in my reality. Loki was sick at the thought of killing you, the love of his life, before you even had the opportunity to commit your war crimes.
“What will she do?” Loki asked, and the leader sighed.
“After your death, she rips a hole in reality. She enslaves an entire realm to live in her memory fantasy of having you alive again.”
“It’s in the past? What memories does she hold?” Loki asked. The two of you were together, and you were in love, but it was still the early stages of your relationship, and he had no idea what was to come.
“Your wedding, and your rule over Asgard.”
Loki’s felt his heart crack, breaking for you. For your grief, for your pain, and for everything he was about to rob the two of you of.
“You must do it, Loki. I know you love her, but it is your duty. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for you. If it is not done by tomorrow, you will have failed.”
Loki went home to you, and you ran to him as soon as you heard the door open. Your arms went around his neck, and he caught you as you jumped into him. The pain that spread through his chest was suffocating, and he held you tightly.
“Loki, I made cookies! Come here, you’re going to love them. I used chocolate, your favorite!” You announced, taking his hand and pulling him into your shared kitchen, unsuspecting of Loki’s mission.
You beamed as you held out a plate to him, and he took one off the top. He bit into it, savoring the efforts of your love. He kissed you sweetly, and when he pulled away, you saw the sadness in his eyes.
“Loki, what is it?” you asked, setting down the tray and reaching out to touch him. A shaky breath left the young god, tears welling at his waterline.
“It’s you.”
“It’s me? Are you breaking up with me? What have I done, Loki?” You asked in disbelief, your mind somersaulting over every action of the last few weeks.
“You’ve done nothing wrong. It’s what you will do.”
The TVA. Loki’s conditional release from being a permanent resident of a Valhallan grave was using his magic for good. You supported him, but now he was frightening you.
“What have I done in the future?” You asked softly, and Loki looked at you in misery.
“You enslave the entire Asgardian realm. You hold them hostage, torturing them. You rip a hole in reality, and make everything collapse. You destroy everything,” Loki explained with a sob.
You stared at him in shock, processing. You knew what he told you was true, because they could see the future far before you could ever anticipate. You just couldn’t imagine why you would do that. You were good, and you loved Loki, and loved his people. You never imagined yourself becoming evil, or a villain.
“Why? What turns me evil?”
Loki looked down at the floor, a deep sigh leaving him. You held his face and made him look at you. You had to know.
“I die in battle, protecting my brother. The grief changes you. We get married, we become rulers of Asgard, and you can’t handle the loss. You tear a hole in reality to live in your memories of us. You love me too much.”
You were crying with Loki now, understanding why he was so upset.
“I love you, and I don’t blame you,” he whispered, kissing your lips. You kissed him back, emotion and heartbreak washing over the two of you.
“You have to stop me, Loki.”
“I know,” he whispered, and you nodded, swallowing your grief.
“I love you so much, Loki, it’s okay,” you promised, and he sobbed as an Asgardian blade appeared in his hand.
“I don’t want to do this, you’re the love of my life,” Loki breathed, and you squeezed his hand, kissing him for the last time.
“You have to. I love you, Loki. The sun will shine on us again,” you nodded, giving him permission to fulfill his mission.
Loki wept as he pushed the blade through your heart, and you slowly sank into his arms, crimson staining the white dress you wore.
“I’m so sorry.”
Loki took you to Asgard. You were buried in Valhalla, led to rest by the Valkyrie. Loki honored you, and carried on the legacy of your love. Every subject of Asgard told their children about the princess who loved their king so much, she was willing to tear apart reality for him. You became the subject of legend, and a hero for Aesir women.
For Loki, there was never another like you.
