Fem!MC X platonic Twst - missing the "girly" things.

General warnings: Fem reader, very Self-indulgent. If you don't relate, please keep scrolling along <3 not very proofread. No pronouns are used, but the concept of "girliness" and "girlhood" is very strong.

The boys have noticed their prefect act a bit different lately...a cloud of loneliness hovered over your head. As the only girl of Night Raven College, it was incredibly easy to feel left out and miss the things you were once interested in back in your world. You held a strong façade of prestige and uncaringness, but what happens when that mask begins to crack? How will the boys of NRC put your woes at rest? ...with a wonderful slumber party, of course!

First coming to Twisted Wonderland, not many could tell you were well-versed (Or at the very least, incredibly interested) in clothing, face Care, and jewelry. Although your personality screamed more or less "Gremlin" at times, and were a "well-known and respected honor student" all the same- you had a rather "girly" side to yourself.

However, you had limited options on having a non-existent budget, but a few of the students took notice of the longing in your eyes whenever you passed by something you desired to have back in your life. The cute earrings, the pretty dresses and skirts, the headbands...a mix of classy and modern, things of that nature.

The first time you were able to get your hands on a half way decent outfit that suited your tastes and you wore it out, others stared in shock. You were still the cheery and "weird" gremlin prefect that had crude humor and silly dance moves, yet something about seeing you in such...frills and 'flamboyance' was not what they were expecting. It suited you, though.

You soon found yourself being handed such outfits. Vil had taken it upon himself to gift you expensive brand outfits that he saw your eye when walking around town, Malleus gifting you a few outfits from Briar Valley that he felt would suit your tastes, Kalim gifting you the cutest earrings he had ever seen (little fruit charms, bows, all sorts of colors and unique charms). Even Riddle introduced you to tea cups that fit your aesthetic to decorate your kitchen with!

Though, the more they saw this side of you, an influx of confessions also came in toe. You were revered as the only female in school (who also managed to stay at the top of the score board, despite your magicless disposition). This came with the struggle of being pursued, more so after they could see just how cute you could dress yourself up.

Despite all these new changes, you felt a tinge of... sadness. You were happy that they were all willing to accept you with open arms and indulge in your desires such as gifting you the cutest of plushies, clothes, jewelry, decor... that didn't stop you from missing fun slumber parties, girl talk with friends, giggling about your love lives, sharing clothes and doing each others makeup and painting nails. You confided all of this to the number one group you could have possibly spoke to about these issues of yours.

A knock came upon the door at odd hours of the night, upon opening it in your nightgown, you revealed quite a sight. Cater, Kalim, and Lilia along with a few other choice students were all in gorgeous nightgowns, their hair done up, holding blankets and pillows with hands full of bags of what you could tell were snacks, makeup, nail polish, and other slumber party commodities. With a bright smile on your face and a giddy giggle, you let them in gushing about their cute appearances. You all lay out the blankets and pillows in front of the TV in the lounge (kindly gifted to you by Idia) and pulled out the snacks and lay them out for everyone to grab at in their leisure.

"We aren't girls," Lilia pointed out, "But at the very least we can enjoy the things you mentioned before! Oh how I love a good love story, shall we share our love lives?"

"We can do that while we put on these face masks! Look, this one is a panda!" Kalim exclaimed, holding up a large bag of face masks and other types of...random things he thought would suit the party. (He pulled out one of those toe dividers for nail polish, he had no clue what it was but Jamil told him he would need it for later.)

"Oh, I brought you this super cute and frilly nightgown (y/n), Trey said one of his sisters didn't wear it anymore and he thought it would look good on you. Go! Try it on, Then we can take a BUNCH of magicam photos. Don't we look like pretty dolls?!" Cater gushed, handing you the night gown. You took it with grace and skipped away to your room, giddy and unable to hold back your excitement.

It wasn't long for more guests to arrive in frilly pajamas and cutesy hair accessories. A string of familiar faces entered, and you soon found yourself braiding the hair of Leona, Vil, Idia, Malleus, Silver...You were shocked to see even Epel made an appearance simply to make you happy.

"I learned how to braid a little bit," Silver smiled gently at you, "And a few other hairstyles. I would be happy to try them on you," He said. You looked at Silvers' perfectly French braided hair and makeup that made him look nothing less than an angel, you nodding in immediate trust. You soon had hair that was done so elegantly, adorned with flowers and gems.

"Let's be clear, I ain't a girl!...but.." Epel blushed, "I-if it'll make you happy...i'll let ya braid my hair. Just this once!"

Floyd and Jade even came along with their faces caked with makeup and the most flamboyant nightgowns you have ever seen, laughing away at their silliness.

"Look Floyd," Jade pointed at your makeup which was lightly placed on by his hand, "I told you these colors perfectly suits (y/n)'s skin." Floyd boo'd and insisted to take off the colors Jade had chosen, holding out the most...vibrant and interesting color palate to exist. You only laughed and backed away, shaking your head and begging floyd to leave your precious face alone.

They truly indulged in everything you had missed out on, even if they weren't your "girlfriends," they were so adamantly ready to try, simply to see you smile once more.

It was a night of snacks, makeup, nail painting, chick flicks, karaoke, gossiping, and frilly fun. You truly underestimated just how much the boys took a liking to you and wished to ease your worries and make you feel a little more at home, and you couldn't have asked for better friends than them.

SIT DOWN, Y'ALL IT'S A DOOZY AND YOU'LL NEED IT

First main topic of discussion is the Disney100 Campaign and a reminder about the SSR Platinum Jacket Grim banner. There is also a limited design parka giveaway in JP.

The new characters are Ferro Honest and Gideru/Gidel/Gidell, the latter of which is not voiced. However, Ferro Honest will be voiced by Tomokazu Sugita!!

Some new event images!! The new event is called "Stage in Playful Land ~Dancing Puppets and the Fantastical Theme Park~"! The boys will be headed to "Playful Land", an amusement park of illusions. They've been specially invited by the two new characters. You get to forget all your worries and have fun all day, no need to pay! Maybe you'll even become a star... Hey, why not just skip school and stay here forever? How shady! There has to be a catch to it...

NEW CARDS TIME!!!!!

First up, the Rs (Trey, Jack, Jade, Lilia)! You can automatically see that the poses are very dynamic and incorporate ribbons. They look like they're being puppeteered on strings!! You'll also notice that they still have the eye masks, just with a different overall outfit theme than in Glorious Masquerade.

Next, the SRs (Cater, Leona, Floyd, Vil)! asdihlbaoyfeqfba They all look like they're having so much fun moving around their limbs and posing~

Last, but not least, the SSRs (Ace, Kalim, Ortho)! THEY'RE ALL SO DRAMATIC (especially Ace, look at him hamming it up)... It's really rare to see this kind of an expression on Kalim too, so it's a treat! Ortho was practically a given because of the Pinocchio inspiration of this event, but it's still so great to see the confirmation.

Yana-sensei was inspired by marionettes while designing this line of cards! She paid special attention to the patchwork in the clothes (there are even some easter eggs in there, particularly on the SSR trio). THE NEW HALLOWEEN EVENT STARTS ON THE 20TH 🤡THAT'S THE END OF THIS WEEK.... . . .. ............ . . .. . . .... . . .. . . . .

Ooh, new event merch! Keychains and scarves, plus a large holographic acrylic block with the Platinum Jacket Grim initial art.

Crowley’s Night Classes Analysis

I cannot BELIEVE I never knew about this until today!!! THANK U @moonlightequin1 😭😭😭💖💖💖🐦‍⬛ I have lost my Crowley theorist card for not knowing this, everyone ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡...anyway, this is a JP exclusive feature for the lessons, which we may get in the EN’s 2nd anniversary. In JP TWST, Crowley gets his own class type, where you can essentially play the Special Lesson mode (aka more EXP and items) on repeat. But unlike average Special Lessons, Crowley’s class changes the atmosphere entirely.

The Diasomnia-like lighting is very notable, where the lights turn from yellow to green, and the purple (instead of a blue like Crowley’s outfit 👀) becomes far more prominent. Crowley’s concept art featured him wearing purple instead of blue, by the way. This is a common occurrence at Night Raven College, where nighttime changes the color of the lighting fixtures. But it’s interesting it happens during Crowley’s classes, no? This entire room feels like a game of spot-the-difference lmaoo. The purple draperies and candles are very interesting and extravagant- I can imagine Crowley frantically setting them out to make his night classes look fancy 🤣 The clock becomes far more ornate, for example. Or I wonder if this is case of that magical projector Vil mentioned in Book 6?

But I couldn’t help but feel intrigued by the night sky in this background too, with the purple color and the star-dotted sky feeling very reminiscent of Meleanor’s dress. Mind you, I believe Crowley’s class was brought right after the Book 7, Chapter 2 update👀

The owl on the clock raised my eyebrows when I first saw it. Since it’s a night class, the whole “night owl” theme makes perfect sense haha. But this is the first time an owl has ever made an appearance at NRC, especially inside the classroom. And again, regarding the release date, Crowley’s class having a owl appear right before the section of the “Silver Owls” is 👀

On the desk, a golden scale with purple and aqua-ish jewels has prominence over the normal lesson items like books and apples. I love the golden scale being a motif for Crowley actually…What really caught my eye was how the vases in the background was replaced with two treasure chests- one locks, and the other open revealing what seems to be a golden necklace, golden coins, and a large green jewel? I mean, all the treasures feel fitting for Crowley, but at the same time, why did you bring this here? (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*) to show off? Or specifically for me to panic and theorize about?

One final note is that Crowley’s class gets an entirely new BGM! I made an analysis before for every single Special Lesson BGM, as I find TWST’s dedication to their music quite fascinating. Instead of reusing one of previous Special Lesson themes or the “Dire Crowley” BGM, this class has a new song. In a future post, I will also analyze this song in depth. I’m just really quite shocked at this, I can’t believe I didn’t know about it! \(//∇//)\ I’m happy to learn something new about Crowley every day haha. Crowley is quite responsible and resilient to hold night classes after his long day of hard work as Headmage 🐦‍⬛

Subzero Sonata

CW: Violence. The reader can sing. Also, the reader can use magic. (I'd recommend not thinking about it too much)

Notes: *Slaps Word document* This thing can fit SO much self-indulgence in it! I wrote this as part of a TWST Halloween collab organized by @twistedchatterbox. So, uuuhhh, sorry I'm late. I've been working a new job recently on top of class, so I haven't been able to sit down and write much.

(In case you were wondering, this is the song)

You feel your determination solidify inside of you as you face down an army of possessed students and as the group splits up to take on each threat, you move towards the crowd and call out to the others, "I can help you guys with crowd-control, but I need you to cover me!"

"What? What are you gonna do??" Epel questions.

"Hey Vil! Remember how you said I'd make an excellent opera singer?" You ask as the man in question looks at you with wide eyes, "Well, you're about to get your wish!"

The sound of a ringing bell echoes throughout the hall, as if signaling the coming of the frigid wind that is now blowing across it.

The Prefect kneels in the center of the protective circle Vil and the others have formed as a flurry of ice and snow swirls around him and the first notes of a song echo from seemingly nowhere.

The music builds as the flurry disperses into cold mist, revealing the Prefect in a completely new outfit, going from a white shirt, white sweatpants and a white faux fur shawl, which Vil had only begrudgingly approved of, to a fine-tailored suit reminiscent of an opera virtuoso's accentuated with delicate snowflake patterns along the sleeves and rims, all topped-off with a pure white parasol.

Vil stares in awe as the Prefect begins to stand up and speak as the music swells, "Good evening, masters. Is this the new recital stage?" He says while giving a small bow.

The music gains more orchestral instruments and fully begins as the Prefect closes his parasol and walks forward, "Oh my! Such a large audience! I'd better jump into the chorus then!" He says before clearing his throat and releasing a powerful high note in time with the music that sends out a wave of pure ice magic into the air, forcing nearby ghosts to abandon their host bodies and leaving any stray ghosts in its path on the ground, frozen solid.

The Prefect keeps singing as the air grows colder and Vil turns back around to focus on fighting. However, as he does so, he sees more blasts of ice magic being shot at the possessed students with each new note the Prefect hits.

Vil tries to keep his focus, he really does, but hearing the Prefect’s voice repeatedly go up and down musical scales with such elegance and precision that he didn't think the other man possessed makes it extremely difficult.

However, with the Prefect’s help, they've managed to hold their own so far, and with Vil getting only slightly distracted by the beautiful singing happening behind him, just for the Prefect to stop singing as the song progresses to the next verse. Hearing this, Vil glances behind himself to ensure he's okay and sees a burst of icy mist call forth large snowflakes that dance around the Prefect as he stands firm with perfect poise and posture before opening his mouth to continue singing.

Things are seemingly going well as the Prefect sings…until Lilia takes notice and jumps completely over both defensive lines made by Silver and Vil's groups, razor-sharp nails trained perfectly on the Prefect’s neck.

However, before anyone can react, the Prefect reaches an elongated high note that he aims directly at Lilia, buffeting him with a concentrated storm of ice magic that sends him flying back towards Silver's group, covered in frost that hinders his mobility to ensure he won't be making a jump like that again.

The Prefect’s song continues as the biting cold encroaches on the enemy with each note, forcing more and more ghosts out of their mortal hosts and eventually drawing Malleus's attention, who sends a barrage of green fireballs at Vil's group from his place at the pipe organ, all of which are neutralized by the Prefect’s ice.

Finally, the song reaches its climax, which is signaled by the Prefect’s voice going up an octave, causing Vil to have to resist the urge to stop fighting and pull up a chair just to watch the rest of the performance. Which he may well be able to do at this point with how many possessed students have been saved now, but Vil decides not to leave anything up to chance and continues fighting as the ice and frost on the floor creep their way up the platform where Rook's group is still engaging with Malleus, the heat from his fire attacks being the only thing that stops them from overtaking him.

However, any remaining heat in the air quickly disappears as the Prefect reaches a note so high for him that it causes Vil's heart to skip a beat while sending a torrent of sub-zero temperatures across the entire hall, liberating the last of the possessed students and coating every surface in the grand hall with a solid layer of permafrost.

The song ends with one final high note from the Prefect before he holds his parasol above his head once again as his outfit reverts back to what it was before.

And, despite his disappointment about the Prefect’s outfit, Vil can only stand there, enthusiastically applauding the other man's performance and silently hoping that his makeup can sufficiently mask the heat he feels blossoming on his face in spite of the overwhelming cold encompassing the area.

Riddle is the kid you would never have a problem with. An overachiever already and you couldn’t tell whether you were proud or nervous because you couldn’t tell if he was having fun at school. Then, just when you thought he would never let himself be vulnerable, he had a strong-feelings moment over lunch, when he accidentally dropped the tin with his dessert after diligently finishing everything in his lunchbox. You were caught between consoling him and stopping him from legitimately trying to eat his strawberries off the floor.

Riddle, crying: my strawberry…

Teacher!You: Sweetie, nooo… we can’t eat anything that was on the floor, that’s our rule.

Riddle, still crying: hic…but…my strawberry…

Teacher!You, internally: now I’m going to cry! T_T

Trey is always, always trying to feed you with whatever he made in the play kitchen area. He especially has a preference for “making” sweets (weird coincidence). He would come to you and it doesn’t matter if you were working on your child reports or helping another child, he would push a plate of whatever cake (an actual ‘whatever’ cake where he uses a random toy as a cake) and tell you to eat more (is he my mom?)

Trey: Teacher, I made this for you!

Teacher!You: Oh, thank you! What is it?

Trey: A pizza cake!

Teacher!You: O-oh, sound’s great!

Trey: It’s sweet!

Teacher!You: Aahh…g-great!

Trey: EAT IT!

Cater knows every popular kid friendly movie and music that just came out and has the cutest outfits and accessories of said popular movie. Is the youngest in the family so he’s babied a lot which he is starting to not like. Hilariously has a toy phone to call and take selfies. He’s such a sweet kid but he makes you feel so old and outdated.

Cater: Teacher, did you watch [hottest kid friendly movie]?

Teacher!You: Oh, not yet

Cater: Oh…that’s kinda lame. Everyone has.

Teacher!You: … :I

Ace is a brat. That’s it.

Ok, he’s the child that will try to find a way to finish his homework or task so he could have fun and mess around in class. Incredibly stubborn and thinks he’s really sneaky with his schemes but he ain’t being smooth when he’s just hovering around pretending to help clean up his play space. You are literally watching him not do it!

Ace: Teacher, why is that play space closed??

Teacher!You: Oh, it’s still messy because the last person didn’t clean up before we left to the playground

Ace: Wasn’t me!

Teacher!You: …

Ace: …

Teacher!You: Well, if someone cleans it up quickly, we might still have time to play.

Deuce gets so misunderstood. He’s stronger than the other students and he can be clumsy so some of the kids are scared to let him hold anything fragile. He’s such a sweetheart and he’s trying so hard to learn how to control his growing strength. However, he’s not afraid to fight (not physically!) for what he wants and he’s ready to defend anyone he deems in need to protect for example, the infants that sometimes drop by the playground for a stroller walk.

Deuce: We have to be careful, babies are small!

Teacher!You: Deuce, would you like to help push the stroller?

Deuce: Really? Yes, please!

All the teachers internally: Squeee, so cute!

i have a few thoughts and have sorted them into a list in no particular order. spoilers for the rabbit fest just, like, in general. and maybe twisted wonderland in general.

great month for fuckable parents. lovable milf on english servers + a business dilf on japanese serves = a profitable week for fan creators.

new ortho outfit!!! i have the running hc that ortho's design is so unique and so uncanny that character designers just,,, cannot half-ass it. literally. unless they want it to come out unfathomably ugly. bc i know they would never do that to my very own special little boy, they do have to put in so much effort to make him look just,,, so cute T-T

SILVER BEING A GOOD UPPERCLASSMEN!!! honestly we have so few responsible upperclassmen in this game that it's just nice to see the freshmen spending with with a second-year who has never tried even once to kill them. and the fact that he didn't even question the bunny,,, fdsfjlksdjskl i just know lilia dressed that kid up in such stupid outfits for his entire childhood.

AND NEW YUU TRIVIA!!!! they are nrc's only and best bugle player. no this will never come up again and no it was not explained but it remains true regardless.

grade-a feral energy coming from the characters, too. loved that silver was the only to raise literally any complaints about just,,, beating up a group of neighborhood delinquents before deuce decided to do things the legal way. ortho 'nuke on standby' shroud my disturbed beloved.

AND CAULDREN DEUCE!!!!!!!!!!!! honestly idk why the reveal that deuce has been summoning cauldrons on the reg since he was in middle school got to me in such a real way, but it did. i kinda figured it was just something he just pulled out on the spot in the prolouge but. no. he's just been doing that. good for him ig. whatever works for you king.

I read the rules and I’m not sure whether this is okay or not, but could I please have Dorm Leaders (or just Riddle, Vil, Idia and Malleus if it’s too much) with a magical girl s/o? Pronouns she/her please! Like she transforms with a magical accessory, i just think it would be so funny while, in the middle of an overblot, reader’s like “oh, well ig this is where I come in!” And then just transforms. And because nobody knew she was a magical girl, they’re all staring in disbelief. Comedy + Fluff please <3

Never really questionated it thought, maybe just aesthetic thing?

Really didn't matter about it, you focused in your studies, followed the rules and loved him, it was just a flower after all, right?

You looked at him in awesome, you never thinked you really needed to do this but it seems like you were wrong "with the power of mind and heart!" you shouted while everyone looked at you weirded out "is she crazy?" some students said before the petals in the rose you had all the time in your hair started to be around you and slowly your normal school uniform fade away and in place let you with a pretty red dress and the stem transformed in a long spear with a sharp tip which you holded with an iron force, surprised stares directing at you "YOU COULD DO THAT?" Ace screamed to you in deslief thinking in all the moments him, Deuce, Grim and you were in trouble and you just choose did this now, you started to give atacks of different elements fast so Riddle can focus on you while you said to your friend to atack him directly to finaly give a powerful atack fulled with magic directly to his heart.

You obviously go to comfort him after all that, he don't know if he was more stunned by all the overblot thing or the fact that you got magic power, a weapon and a whole outfit only by saying a phrase and the innocent looking rose in your hair

Definetly will ask what was that, you can use magic and no one knowed?

Why did you use it only now and not every other time you almost got killed?

You were powerful but why only now?

After all what happend the answer that you were just worried for him and actually cared for him that much to reveal that to the entire school maked his heart warm.

You two have a long conversation talking about your now not so secret identity and all what maked him overblot before (mother issues included, yes, it was very long).

He didn't even care about the artificial bone that were in your collar

The maximun he cared about it was when hewas hugging you when going to take a nap and that was itching his chest

Maybe asked you about it once because you carried it everytime

Ruggie was hurted and everyone was scared but you, you holded your collar tightly and putted it out, the fake bone converted in a beautiful trident and with a spin a gorgeus dress appeared on you instead of the simple school uniform "is that a trident?" Deuce asked like you didn't just transformed your whole outfit only because of an spin "So you think you're better than me?!" Leona said before trying to convert you into sand, well, this is gonna be hard to you.

You definetly got some injuries after that (probably because of trying to make you disapear)

"You think i'm an awful person now, don't you?"

He was curious about what the heck was that when you fighted him but was more worried about you goting injuried because of him and you hating him now.

He tried to hide how worried he was about you, he was feeling awful, his girlfriend, the person who love him not because of his status or anything to beneficiate herself injuried because of his anger.

Evitated you for a little period of time before getting the courage to speak to you and apologize to you.

Sebek with a bandage in his arm yelled at you, you had to explain to more than one person apparently.

It was very hard, you admmited it, you even got injuries because of the fight! Maybe you should keep putting that bandage in your leg, you don't wanted to clean blood after all that.

He already knew so he wasn't that surprised.

You had to listen and comfort him for like 2 hours after he screamed to you worried about if you were hurt only to him saying "you were gorgeus!" after crying in your shoulder for 1 hour straight.

"Wait, you knew?" "of course I knew! You're my girlfriend" you had more questions than him probably.

You probably had to sleep with him, he didn't want you to get more hurt while he wasn't at your side.
