#trying to protect willow for her own good and to make up for things in the past but it verges into condescension
Text
Btw in a hypothetical amphibia/toh au, Luz is Marcy, Willow is Anne and Amity is Sasha, except Luz is the Heart gem, Amity is the wit gem and Willow is the strength gem. Amitys green hair era takes on the connotations of her toxic need for perfectionism, and Willow's calamity powers invoke both the catharsis and the danger of her mind during understanding willow. In case you were wondering
#ramblings of a lunatic#the owl house#toh#not gonna tag frog show bc ppl already inappropriately crosstag toh content there anyway#it kills me that these three dont have a trio name that isnt just their ship name#but anyway my personal backstory for the au is that amity and willow have only recently patched things up in the human realm#meanwhile luz is the new kid who enabled it to happen#the drama between willow and amity in amphibia would be about amity acting like she did in labyrinth runners-#trying to protect willow for her own good and to make up for things in the past but it verges into condescension#as she doesn't see how willows grown in amphibia#meanwhile luz straight up didn't mean to send her friends to amphibia with her. that is simply not a thing i think she'd do#and she becomes easy to manipulate due to the guilt of what she's done#gus is sprig obviously. idk how hunter fits in maybe he's like a combo of andrias and marcy?#where he's manipulated into believing they're doing the right thing but eventually rebels (in a way that parallels willow hehehe)#MAYBE tags along with them to the human realm (merging amphibia and tohs season 3s) OR stays behind to protect luz#and he then gets darcy'd/bunter'd#though maybe for a shorter length of time bc with the added context of his bg it would just feel cruel to drag things out#idk this au doesn't have a plot. i just think amphibia has some banger scenes/quotes/etc and i wanna slap em on my fav lil guys#also I'm not even picturing frogs at this point I'm picturing it more like. fantasy ppl. not witches but closer to like#halflings/orcs/elves as the replacement for the frog/toad/newt caste system#that's not a good idea theme wise it's purely the fact that i can't take the characters seriously if i have to picture them as frogs#also i am. not doing hubtlow except hunter is a frog. i am simply not doing that no matter how funny it may be conceptually#ANYWAY. just finished the third temple (i love that episode. Sasha u are so important to me)#but i think now i might slide back into my toh drift and watch kt (different dub) and then FINALLY the specials again (YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY)#we'll see#i also wanna DRAW but i CAN'T cause i gotta conserve my ART ENERGY for my EVIL EXAM tomorrow#< i have silly problems#on the bright side though I've got a diary now! and i will be using it

The Princess and her Knight
Pairing: Knight Geto Suguru x FAB Princess Reader
Word Count: 3,383
Warning: Fingering, cursing, making out? Talking of royal politics, voyeurism,
A/N: This gave me the brain worms. I love fantasy. Plus Geto as a knight in leather?! 🫠🥴 yummy!!
Tumblr media
“What a waste! I pity anyone who gets stuck marrying her! I've never been insulted! Good luck marrying her off!” Geto smiled, tilting his head as your latest suitor stormed out of the gardens.
That makes ten suitors so far. All of which have left either furious, like this one, or very disappointed. “He’s gone, Y/N,” Suguru called out with a chuckle.
Upon his words, you poked your head out from behind the large willow tree in the garden. You grinned, stepping out of your hiding place, happily humming as you smooth out your long lavender gown before standing before your knight. Geto Suguru shook his head, offering you his arm.
“Your parents are not going to be happy.”
“Well, I'm not happy!” you stuck out your bottom lip, looking up at your guardian. “Suguru, they want to sell me off like cattle! I’m a person, not a thing! Don't my feelings count?”
“They should, but you’re of age. It comes with the territory of being a princess.” Suguru’s stoic voice had you rolling your eyes. “You should try to get to know some of them, Y/N.”
You didn't want to get to know these strange men! You just wanted to know Suguru on a more intimate level. Peel back the layers of leather, steel, and cloth. What was your dark-haired knight hiding under professionalism and attitude? He certainly wasn't a fan of these strange men coming to see you. You had seen the look each time one of them took your hand. It was a subtle twitch of the eye, nothing any other person would notice. But you, you knew him like the back of your hand. Your knight was jealous.
Suguru would never make the first move because of two things. One, he was your knight, and two, he was of common birth. You couldn't care less about that! If he would continue to observe without acting, you had to take matters into your own hands.
“Why bother? Every single one of them is disappointed with my naivety. They say there’s no point in getting to know someone if I don't know how to kiss properly.”
Suguru stopped in his tracks, dark eyes snapping in your direction. “What did you just say?” Perfect, he was taking the bait.
“I said, all these suitors are running off because they said I don't know how to kiss.” You sighed, shrugging your shoulders. “That's the problem with royal families; they simply tell you to produce an heir. They don't teach you about your body and how to seduce others. I suppose my family name will die out.” You could feel every muscle in Suguru’s body tighten with your words. “All because no one taught me how to kiss.”
“I-I see—!” This is the only thing Suguru had to say in response to your very open invitation. How much more of a hint could you drop!?
Drastic times called for drastic measures.
Suguru groaned, looking down as you hugged his arm. Your perfect breasts were brushing against him. “Suguru, do you know how to kiss?” The sparkle in your eyes and faint flush that dusted your cheeks had Suguru fighting against himself.
“I do,” seeing your excitement, he flicked your forehead, “do not even ask.”
Despite being a young adult, you whined like a child. You were hugging his arm tighter, pressing yourself harder against him. You were not backing down! Not this time! If your parents wanted to sell you off for procreation, you were going to have fun!
“Isn't it your duty to protect me? To protect the crown?”
“Yes, but kissing you is not in my job description.”
“Suguru.” When he looked down at you, he was met with teary eyes. A sight he had not anticipated seeing. “Please.” Inhaling sharply, Suguru watched as those big tears streamed down your cheeks. “It's bad enough I have to marry someone I don't love. All of my firsts are being sold off to the highest bidder. Is it that bad that I want to give my first kiss to whomever I choose?”
“Y/N, don't.”
You released his arm, pressing your hands on his chest, staring into his eyes. He was everything to you: your protector, friend, and first love. Geto Suguru is the man you would choose to be your everything—husband, king, lover.
You wanted to be everything to him as well.
“Suguru, please, I want it to be you.” You stood on your tiptoes, closing the distance between you. “Will you please teach me?” You glanced at his lips through your lashes before leaning in closer. His heavy breathing mingled with yours. An unfamiliar sensation began to flutter in your lower stomach. “Sugu—”
A millisecond before your lips touched, Suguru’s hand shot up, covering his mouth. His reaction felt like a dagger to the heart. He didn't want it. Meaning he must not want you.
You thought what the two of you had was more. That your relationship wasn't merely knight and princess, friends, that maybe deep down beneath the vows he'd taken, he felt more than his duty. All the laughs you shared, the late-night strolls, afternoon naps in the garden. It wasn't; it wasn't just a lie, unrequited love.
But how could it be more if he reacted like this?
Embarrassment washed over the desire you had felt seconds before. Leaving you feeling numb and empty. “I-I have to go,” you whispered, turning on your heels for the palace.
You didn't have a chance to move. Your wrist was grabbed as Suguru began dragging you towards the hedge maze. Suguru didn't say a word as he pulled you deeper and deeper inside. His vigilant eyes searched every corner for any sign of life. He was always watchful, but now, more than ever.
Once he had you as far away from the palace and servants, he turned to glare down at you. Bracing yourself for a lecture, you shut your eyes tight. You didn't have the courage to face him. You didn't want those hopes to be over just yet!
“Don't!” Hands flew up, pushing against his chest. “Please don't break my heart. Let me hang on to the thoughts of us just a little while longer, please! They're the only thoughts that make me happy!”
Suguru’s harsh words never came. Instead, his hands reached down, gently holding yours. “You're not that bright sometimes, are you.” His soft tone had your gaze snapping towards his face. “But then again, that's one of the things I like about you.” Suguru brought your hands to his mouth. “Oblivious and passionate.” Lips, his lips brushed against your knuckles, sending your heart slamming against your ribcage.
“B-But I-I don't understand. You covered your mouth!”
“Because you choose a spot in the wide open to come onto me.” Shaking his head, Suguru gently released your hands. “Just how would you explain this to any prying eyes?”
“Huh, this? What do you mean thi—”
Suguru’s hands cupped your face, pulling you into a deep and passionate kiss. They were soft, softer than you ever dreamed they'd be. You melted into him, kissing him back with the same gentle tempo. Feeling your lips against his, Suguru groaned, his eyebrows furrowing as one hand moved to the back of your head, deepening the kiss.
Your hands gripped his shirt, hanging onto him tight as you matched his movements as best as possible. This had to be the best first kiss anyone had ever experienced. It was passionate and sweet, like the pastries you would sneak from the kitchens. The entire world had stopped around the two of you.
You were the first to break the kiss; the both of you panted, mouths practically still against each other. “That was, wow.” Suguru chuckled as your words murmured into his mouth.
“Yeah, wow.”
“Again.” Was the only thing you said before crashing your lips against his. He stumbled back, falling onto the grass. “Mmm,” You moaned, eyes shut, eyebrows knitting in concentration.
He tasted sweet, like the strawberries you two had shared before you had to meet with the baron. Sweet and tangy, a taste you craved more with each kiss. Suguru’s hands gently gripped against your hips as he leaned back against one of the hedge walls. Feeling his hands, those strong, calloused hands on your body in a way no one had touched you before, had that faint fluttering sensation returning to your stomach.
Suguru felt the way you twitched under his touch, eyes slowly opening to watch your reactions. You were flushed, eyes shut tight, as you kissed him back. It was utterly adorable. He watched you, trying to figure out what you liked and how you were supposed to move. The gods were so good to him. Giving him a chance to not only protect you but also to touch you in ways you'd never been touched.
You pulled back, gasping for air. Suguru could see the hunger in your eyes, the desire for him. So he decided to give his darling princess a hand. Grabbing your hips, Suguru repositioned you so that you were straddling him. Following his lead, you pulled your skirts up a bit, allowing your legs to rest on either side of his body. Your bodies were so close to each other, only your undergarments and his pants separating you.
“Are you okay?” Suguru’s voice was hoarse, lips swollen from the intense kisses.
“I-I feel strange, like my body is on fire.” You knew all about sex and what came along with it. You had read plenty of books, ones your tutors would never approve of. But experiencing it firsthand, words failed in comparison to actually feeling another's hands on you. “I don't know what to do; this isn't covered in my lessons.”
Tensions grew between you, thick and heavy, as Suguru hummed. Half of his dark hair cascaded down his back, while the rest was tied in a bun, allowing you to see his flushed ears. It seemed as though you weren’t the only one feeling the growing heat simmering between you. You knew he wanted this as bad as you did. But to what extent was he willing to go?
Clearing his throat, Suguru gently squeezed your hips. “That's the problem with royals. They always tell you to be obedient and take care of your partner's needs.” rough handles slid down to your thighs. “They never explain your body to you. Or how to please your partner.” Dark eyes seared through you. “Luckily for you, I know how to take care of you, how to make you feel good.” Words trailed off as his blush darkened. “Could I try?” Your face turned red.
“Y-Yes, please.”
Suguru slid his hands up, gently grabbing and massaging your breasts in his hands. “Gods, you feel so good.”
“Oh my god.” You gasped out, arching, pressing yourself closer into his palms. “Your hand is so big.”
“Oh Princess,” Suguru purred, his head leaning in, trailing kisses down your neck, “You sound so fucking pretty.” Fingers began rubbing circles over your hardening nipples.
That hot foreign feeling in the pit of your stomach spread, settling between your legs. “Suguru~ oh Suguru, it feels so good.” Fingers gently ran through his hair, tangling in the dark strands of silky hair.
Encouraged by your sounds, Suguru kissed down your neck, over your collarbone, before he gently tugged the front of your dress down. You'd opted out of a corset today, thank the gods, making it easier for Suguru to pull the brassiere down. Your perfect breasts bounced. With a glance around, making sure the coast was clear, Suguru hummed before taking your nipple in his mouth.
“Oh, gods! You clasped a hand over your mouth, I
In an attempt to silence yourself. “Nngh S-Sugu, that feels weird but good at the same time.”
“Do you like how it feels?” Suguru’s mouth turned to your other breast, giving it the same loving treatment. Tongue swirling around the sensitive bud, making you whimper in turn.
You gripped his shoulders, pressing your chest further into his face. “I-I do! I, oh gods, I had no idea I was capable of feeling like this.” It felt like every nerve in your body was on fire. Every touch, every lap of his tongue, had you craving more. You wanted more, but not for yourself. The desperation of making Suguru feel as good as you did had you feeling confident. “Can I make you feel good too?” Suguru’s eyes widened before unlatching himself from your breasts.
“Y/N, you have no idea what this is doing to me.” When you could finally look into his eyes, you noticed how heavily he was breathing. He looked so out of it like he had gone off the deep end. “I need more of this; don't worry about me.” behind the lust and the need, you could also see the love and adoration. He shifted under you, pressing his hardening bulge against your core before massaging your breasts once more.
Feeling it had you tilting your head back, eyes widening. “Oh fuck~!” Your curse had Suguru groaning, fighting the urge to rock up against you. “S-Suguru~ feels so good, but I uhm—” You felt wet, sticky, and warm between your legs. The foreign feeling had your cheeks burning.
Upon hearing the hesitation in your tone, Suguru pulled away instantly. “Feel what? Are you okay? I didn't hurt you, did I?” His genuine concern had you falling for him even harder.
“No! Not in the slightest! I, well, I feel wet between my legs?” Your answer was formed more like a question. You were unsure how an average couple would mention this. Instead of continuing to speak, you leaned back slightly, lifting your skirts. “Do we, do we need to stop?”
Suguru hissed through his teeth. The sight of your lacey underwear had his pants growing tighter. But it was the dampness forming on them, your arousal glinting in the rays of sunlight, that had him throbbing. His sweet, innocent princess had left a wet spot on his pants. Fuck, he didn't think he needed anyone as bad as he needed you. You gifted, feeling hot under his gaze as he licked his lips, eyes glued to your dripping sex.
“N-No, gods no, that's supposed to happen when you're feeling good and aroused.” His voice was deep, cracking with need. “Do you want to stop? We can.”
“No! I don't want to stop.”
“Ok, just lean back a bit.” Following his instructions, you put both hands behind you, resting them on his knees. With shallow breaths, you watched as he slid his hand between your legs, his finger slowly pressing against your covered core. “Oh my gods,” Suguru growled, biting his lip. He curled his finger under the fabric separating the two of you before dipping his finger between your folds.
“Ah!” You squeaked out, covering your mouth. “Oh gods, oh gods, Sugu.”
“You're so wet, Y/N.” Gentle fingers moved up and down, feeling your folds before they traced around your entrance. “Who knew my princess was so,” he smirked, leaning forward, nipping at your earlobe, “sensitive?” The second that last word left his mouth, he pushed a finger inside of you.
Your entire body lurched; Suguru’s free grabbed your hip, helping steady you. Your mouth was wide open as so many sensations hit you at once. Shock, pleasure, and desire, the feeling of Suguru’s finger pumping in and out of you slowly, god, it was better than kissing.
“Feel good,” you kissed his forehead, “feels good Sugu.”
The pretty sounds from your mouth made Suguru’s throat dry. Swallowing hard, he began pumping his finger in and out of your tight cunt. Your walls hugged him so tight, trying to prevent him from moving. But Geto Suguru wasn't going to let that stop him. Not when you breathed out his name like it was a prayer to the gods. He pumped his finger faster, curling it in before he slid another finger into your heat.
“Oh fuck.” A tightening sensation formed in your lower abdomen. “Oh fuck, Suguru, Sugu~!”
Your knight closed the distance, kissing you deeply. “Shhh, Y/N, don't be so loud. What would people say if they saw you like this?” His fingers curled inside of you.
“They’d say lucky princess!” you moaned against his lips.
“Yeah?” Suguru scoffed against your swollen lips. “You're honest, I'll give you that.” He tilted his head, thumb brushing against your clit. “I think your honesty deserves a reward.” His thick fingers pushed deeper, rubbing against a spot inside of you that had you seeing sparks. Knowing the reaction you would have, Suguru kissed you to swallow the moan that ripped through your throat.
The pleasure felt so good; you wanted to be loud, to let the whole kingdom know how good your knight made you feel. Suguru was right. You had to be quiet, at least until you two could sneak off to his quarters. You would rather die than allow this to be a one-time thing. For now, you kissed him to muffle your whimpers and cries.
When Suguru felt your pussy twitching, contracting around his fingers, he smirked. How lucky was he? Not only was he your first kiss, but he would also get to be the first one to make you cum. And if he was lucky, and the gods were gracious enough, he'd be the only one to do so.
A broken “Sugu” was the only final confirmation he needed that you were going to cum. His hand sped up, fingers fucking into you as your hips rolled, chasing the strange feeling that was fluttering inside of you. You rocked and rolled up, and the coil inside of you snapped. You screamed into Suguru’s mouth as you gushed around his fingers. Your first orgasm had your toes curling, your heart racing, and you trembling in your knight's lap.
“Holy fuck.” Suguru moaned out against your lips. Watching you squirm on his lap had his cock throbbing. “Fuck Y/N.” Shuddering sighs shook your entire being as you pressed your forehead against his, Y/E/C boring into dark eyes. Licking your lips, feeling more confident than ever, your hands reached down, cupping his erection. “Nngh!”
“Suguru, let me help you.”
Just as you learned away, Suguru’s eyes began to follow your other hand, trailing over his shoulder, when a shape caught his eye. He moved, throwing you off his lap and putting you behind him as he drew out his sword. The shape stepped closer, and Suguru clenched his teeth.
“Stop, right fuckin’ there. Don't move a muscle.”
The sudden shock wore off, and you quickly readjusted yourself before scooting back against the hedge. Your heart was thundering again, this time not because of lust or excitement but because of fear. Shaking, you and Suguru watched as the shape stepped out of the darkness and into the glimmering rays of sunlight.
“Relax, I was just enjoying the show.” your eyes trailed over fine clothes of dark blue, embodied with silver threads. “I was surprised to see Princess Y/N, the so-called naive and stuck-up princess, getting finger fucked.”
“Stop!” Suguru commanded, taking a step back towards you. “Don't move any closer, and state what business you have here at the palace.”
“My family dragged me here.” The stranger didn't heed Suguru’s warning and stepped further into the light. “They keep dragging me to meet stupid princesses. They’re so insistent I find a bride and father an heir. After hearing all the rumors about your princess, I hid here before meeting. But by the gods themselves, who would have imagined I found the princess here? And she's not as naive as the rumors stated.” Another step closer towards you.
“Who are you?” You asked, standing up, peeking from behind Suguru.
The stranger chuckled, stepping entirely out into the light. Cerulean blue eyes glittered behind white eyelashes that narrowed as he smirked. “Gojo Satoru, Prince of the kingdom of Fontaine.” Both you and Suguru’s hearts dropped into your stomachs as the prince chuckled. “And I think I just found myself a bride,” his eyes focused on Suguru, “and a husband. The gods are good!”

in which, touring europe was meant to be a fun thing to do as a family, but when your toddler suddenly developes a sickness bug, you watch with fond eyes as your husband takes care of your little one, nursing them back to full health.
Tumblr media
You stood by the hotel room window, the sun casting a warm glow across the room, as you watched a vibrant blue sky stretching as far as the eye could see.
It was a beautiful day outside, but inside your heart was heavy with concern.
Your three-year-old daughter, Willow, lay curled up in bed, battling a nasty stomach bug which had developed during the middle of the night when she came running from her adjacent hotel bed and onto yours and yours husbands.
The tranquility of the night was abruptly shattered when a soft whimper filled the room, jolting you awake. Your eyes blinked open, adjusting to the dim light, as you turned your head towards the sound.
There, in the faint moonlight, you saw your three-year-old daughter Willow standing by her bed, her little face etched with worry. Instinctively, you sat up, your heart pounding, and motioned for her to come closer. She hesitated for a moment, then shuffled her way towards you, her tiny feet tiptoeing across the carpeted floor.
She crawled onto your bed, her small body trembling. The scent of vomit wafted through the air, and you immediately understood the cause of her distress. Panic surged through you as you glanced at Willow's bed, confirming your suspicion.
"Oh, sweetheart, you've been sick," you whispered, gently pulling her closer. She buried her face against your shoulder, her cries muffled against your nightgown.
Harry stirred beside you, awakened by the commotion. His sleepy eyes widened as he took in the scene before him. Without a word, he reached out to Willow, drawing her into his protective embrace.
"What happened, love?" Harry asked, his voice filled with concern.
Willow hiccuped through her sobs, trying to form words between her tears. "I... I feel... sick," she managed to say, her voice quivering.
You looked at your husband, worry etched across your face. "It's alright, Willow. Mommy and Daddy are here for you," you assured her, rubbing her back in a soothing motion. "Let's get you cleaned up, my love."
Harry carefully lifted Willow from the bed, cradling her against his bare chest. She wrapped her arms around his neck, clinging to him as if he were her lifeline. The three of you made your way to the bathroom, where you began the process of cleaning up the mess.
As you gently wiped away the traces of illness, Willow gazed up at you, her wide, tear-filled eyes searching for comfort. "Mommy, I don't feel good," she whimpered.
You kissed her forehead softly, offering words of reassurance. "It's alright, sweetheart. Sometimes our tummies get upset, but we'll take care of you. Daddy and I are here to make you feel better."
Harry, ever the rock in times of need, interjected, his voice filled with warmth. "That's right, princess. We'll take care of you until you're all better."
Returning to the hotel bed, you settled Willow between you and Harry, cocooning her in your embrace. She nestled against her father's chest, seeking solace in his familiar heartbeat. His arms enveloped her, providing a sense of security and protection.
Willow's sobs slowly subsided, her trembling body finding solace in her father's warm embrace. Harry's gentle voice continued to offer words of comfort, soothing her worries as she drifted back to sleep, nestled against his chest.
You had been eagerly looking forward to an afternoon out with Sarah and Glenne for months, when Harry had told you that he was going to be touring in Wales, the three of you were going to go and look round at all the different sights that city had to offer, but now the thought of leaving Willow alone in her weakened state weighed heavily on you.
Every parent hated seeing their child sick, every toddler was bound to get sick just like when you all had the flu and Harry had to cancel some of his shows, you were all suffering with the flu but Willow took it exceptionally hard due to the fact she couldn’t exactly voice all her thoughts and feelings.
Just then, your husband Harry walked into the room, a sympathetic expression on his face which made you snap out of the daze you appeared to be in.
He understood the dilemma you faced and was determined to find a solution.
"Hey, love," Harry began gently, coming over to stand beside you. "I know Willow isn't feeling well, but you've been planning this day with Sarah and Glenne for so long. They've been looking forward to it too. Maybe we can find a way to make it work?"
It was true, seeing as this was one of the only days where you didn’t have anything planned, Harry had told you that it was fine that you go out with the girls and see the city of Cardiff but that was before Willow got sick.
You didn’t want to let your best friends down but you didn’t want to leave your daughter all high and vulnerable.
You turned to face Harry, the sunlight highlighting the worry lines on your forehead. "I can't bear the thought of leaving Willow like this, Harry. She's so sick and uncomfortable. What if she gets worse?"
Harry reached out, taking your hand in his, his touch providing a sense of comfort. "I understand your concerns, sweetheart. But remember, everyone’s here with us., and they all love Willow as much as we do. If I need any help, Mitch is next door who has a toddler himself, he can help take good care of her while you're gone."
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at Harry, your voice filled with worry. "What if she needs me? What if she feels scared and doesn't understand why I'm not there?"
Harry's voice softened as he pulled you into a reassuring embrace, the warmth of the sun's rays wrapping around you both. "I promise you, love, if Willow needs you, I'll call you immediately. We'll make sure she feels safe and loved. And sometimes, kids surprise us with how resilient they can be. Right now, she needs rest and care, and you deserve a break too."
You hesitated for a moment, torn between your desire to be there for your daughter and the longing to spend time with your friends.
Eventually, you took a deep breath and nodded, drawing strength from Harry's presence. "Okay, Harry. I trust you. Let's give it a try, but just know that you’ll be getting a text at least every twenty minutes to check on Willow.”
A genuine smile lit up Harry's face as he squeezed your hand gently. "Absolutely, love. I’ll keep a close eye on her, and if anything changes, you’ll be getting a call straight away to come back immediately. Sarah and Glenne are waiting for you, and they'll understand if you need to leave early."
With Harry's unwavering support and reassurance, you made your way to the door, the sunlight filtering through the window like a gentle reminder of hope.
"Remember, I love you, and you're just going to be just a phone call away," Harry whispered, his voice carrying a reassuring warmth. "Enjoy your time with Sarah and Glenne, and know that when you return, Willow will be in your arms, feeling better."
With one last glance at Willow, who lay sleeping peacefully, you let the sunlight guide you forward, casting aside your worries for a few hours. The day outside held the promise of healing, and you allowed yourself to immerse in the present moment, trusting in Harry's words and the love that surrounded Willow in your absence.

━━━━━━━━┓ 💫 ┏━━━━━━━━
Harry stood in the hotel room's small kitchenette, a pot of soup simmering on the stove. The aroma of warm broth and vegetables filled the air, creating a comforting atmosphere.
Once the soup was all cooked, he settled it next to the sippy cup of water on the tray and made his way over to where the hotel bed was.
With a tray in his hands carrying a bowl of warm soup. Willow, his three-year-old daughter, sat propped up against the pillows in the hotel bed, her small frame wrapped in a cosy blanket.
Her cheeks were flushed from the fever, and she looked weak and tired.
"Hey, angel baby," Harry greeted her softly, placing the tray on the nightstand. "I made you some soup. It's going to help make you feel better."
Willow mustered a weak smile, her voice frail. "Thank you, Daddy."
Harry settled himself on the edge of the bed, picking up the spoon and gently blowing on a spoonful of soup to cool it down. "Here, sweetheart, open up. Just take small bites."
Willow obediently opened her mouth, allowing Harry to feed her a spoonful of the warm soup. She tried her best to swallow it, but a wave of nausea washed over her, and she coughed, spitting the soup back into the bowl.
"Oh, it's okay, Willow," Harry reassured her, his voice filled with empathy. He grabbed a tissue and gently wiped her mouth. "We'll take it slow, alright? No rush."
Tears welled up in Willow's eyes, frustration evident in her voice. "I don't want to be sick, Daddy."
Harry's heart ached for his daughter as he gathered her into his arms, holding her close. "I know, sweetheart. It's not easy. But we're here with you, and we'll do everything we can to help you feel better."
Willow nestled against her father's chest, seeking comfort in his embrace. Harry stroked her hair soothingly, his voice gentle and reassuring. "Let's try again, okay? Maybe just a tiny sip this time."
Willow nodded, sniffling softly. She took another small sip of the soup, her face scrunching up in discomfort. She swallowed, but her body rebelled, and she vomited once more, tears streaming down her face.
Harry held her tightly, wiping away her tears. "It's alright, Willow. You tried, and that's what matters. We'll find something else that won't upset your tummy."
Willow's voice trembled as she spoke, her disappointment evident. "I'm sorry, Daddy. I just can't."
Harry kissed her forehead, his voice filled with love and understanding. "You don't need to apologize, my love. It's not your fault. We'll find another way to nourish you. How about we try some dry crackers or toast? Something lighter that might be easier for your tummy?"
Willow nodded, finding solace in her father's words. "Okay, Daddy. Maybe that will be better."
Harry gently guided her back onto the pillows, reaching for a plate of crackers and a slice of toast. He placed it within Willow's reach, his voice soothing. "Take your time, sweetheart. Whenever you feel ready, you can have a nibble. And if you're not hungry right now, that's perfectly alright too."
Willow nodded, her energy depleted. "Thank you, Daddy. You're the best."
Harry's heart swelled with love for his daughter as he caressed her cheek. "You're welcome, my brave girl. I'll always be here for you. We'll figure this out together, and you'll feel better soon."

Harry stood in the bathroom, a concerned look on his face as he carefully prepared a warm bath for his three-year-old daughter, Willow, who was battling a stomach bug. He adjusted the faucets, ensuring the water was just the right temperature to provide some relief to her discomfort.
Taking a deep breath, Harry glanced at the assortment of bath products on the counter. He reached for a bottle of soothing lavender bubble bath, knowing its calming scent might bring some comfort to his little girl.
"Alright, Willow, we're going to have a special bath today to help you feel better," Harry said, his voice filled with gentle reassurance. "Let's make it extra relaxing, shall we?"
Willow, her face pale and tired, nodded weakly. She clutched her stomach, her tiny body aching from the persistent bug. But she trusted her dad to make things a little easier for her.

Harry knelt down beside her, placing a hand on her back. "I know it's been tough, sweetheart, but we'll do our best to make you feel a bit better, alright? The bath will help soothe your tummy."
Willow mustered a faint smile, grateful for her dad's comforting presence. She leaned into him, seeking solace in his touch.
With great care, Harry helped Willow undress, taking his time to ensure she felt safe and comfortable. He selected her favourite towel, soft and fluffy, ready to embrace her delicate skin.

As Harry prepared the bath, he added a few drops of the lavender bubble bath, watching as the water transformed into a frothy, fragrant oasis. He swirled it gently, creating a cloud of bubbles that floated atop the surface.
"Look, Willow! We've got magic bubbles today!" Harry exclaimed, his voice filled with playful excitement. "They're here to make you feel all cosy and relaxed."
He lifted her into the tub, ensuring her body was well supported. Willow winced as she eased herself into the warm water, the discomfort evident on her face.
Harry sat on a stool next to the tub, a washcloth and a gentle, fragrance-free soap at hand. He dipped the cloth into the water, wringing it out before carefully washing Willow's body, mindful of her sensitivity.
As he washed her, Harry maintained a soothing conversation, speaking softly and tenderly. He distracted her with stories of their favorite adventures, trying to ease her mind from the uneasiness caused by the stomach bug.
"Remember that time we went to the park and fed the ducks, Willow?" Harry asked, a gentle smile playing on his lips. "They quacked so loudly when you threw bread to them!"
Willow managed a small smile, her eyes flickering with fleeting joy. "Yeah, Daddy. They were funny."
Harry continued to cleanse her, moving with gentle strokes and utmost care. He avoided any sensitive areas, mindful of her discomfort. Willow leaned into his touch, finding solace in her father's loving presence.
As the bath went on, Harry noticed Willow's fatigue growing. He poured warm water over her hair, gently massaging her scalp with his fingertips. Willow closed her eyes, surrendering to the soothing sensation.
"Daddy, I don't feel good," Willow murmured, her voice barely audible.
Harry's heart ached, his love for his daughter shining through his eyes. "I know, sweetheart. I wish I could make it all go away for you. Just a little while longer, and we'll get you out of the bath and into some cozy pajamas."
He carefully rinsed away the soap, making sure not to get any water in her eyes. Once Willow was clean, he lifted her out of the tub, enveloping her in a soft, warm towel. She leaned heavily against him, seeking his support.
Harry carried Willow to her bedroom, laying her on the bed. He dressed her in the softest, most comfortable pyjamas he could find, being extra gentle as he handled her delicate frame.
"Almost there, my brave girl," Harry whispered, placing a tender kiss on her forehead. "Now, let's get you settled and rest up."
"Daddy, can we cuddle on the sofa? My tummy hurts," Willow requested, her voice soft and vulnerable.
Harry's heart melted at the sight of his daughter in need of comfort. He nodded, a gentle smile gracing his lips. "Of course, sweetheart. Let's make you feel better."
Harry carefully lifted the duvet from their bed and spread it over the sofa, creating a cozy nest for their cuddle session. Willow eagerly climbed onto the sofa, nestling herself against Harry's side. He wrapped the soft duvet around their bodies, cocooning them in warmth.
"Are you comfy, my little princess?" Harry asked, brushing a strand of hair away from Willow's face.
Willow nodded, her eyes lighting up with anticipation. "Yes, Daddy. Can we watch 'The Little Mermaid'?"
Harry couldn't resist her request, knowing that the familiar story would provide a soothing distraction from her discomfort. He reached for the TV remote and found the beloved Disney film, adjusting the volume to a gentle level.
With the movie playing, Willow nestled closer to Harry, finding solace in his embrace. She rested her head on his lap, feeling the steady rise and fall of his chest with each breath.
As the film unfolded, Harry couldn't help but marvel at Willow's innocent wonder. Her eyes were glued to the screen, captivated by Ariel's underwater adventures. He smiled, knowing that even in the midst of her illness, her spirit remained resilient.
Halfway through the movie, Willow's eyelids grew heavy, her body succumbing to exhaustion. Harry continued to stroke her hair, his touch gentle and soothing.
"Daddy, I'm tired," Willow whispered, her voice barely audible.
Harry's heart swelled with love and tenderness as he looked down at his daughter. "It's okay, my love. Rest your eyes. I'll be right here with you."
Willow snuggled deeper into her father's lap, finding comfort in his presence. Within moments, her breathing steadied, and her little body relaxed into a peaceful slumber.
Harry couldn't help but smile, his heart overflowing with affection. He watched as the characters on the screen continued their enchanting journey, but his attention was solely on his sleeping daughter. He marvelled at her innocence and the depth of his love for her.
It wasn’t long before you were walking through the hotel door.
You turned the doorknob and stepped into the hotel room, feeling a mix of exhaustion and excitement after a day of sightseeing in Cardiff with your friends.
As you entered, a heartwarming sight awaited you - your husband and your precious daughter fast asleep on the sofa, their peaceful expressions revealing the toll the stomach bug had taken on your angel baby.
A soft smile graced your lips as you quietly approached them. The scene was too precious to resist capturing, so you reached for your phone from your back pocket, snapping a photo to cherish the love and vulnerability that filled the room.
It would most likely become your wallpaper later.
After taking the picture, you leaned in and pressed a tender kiss to both Harry and Willow's foreheads, whispering, "I love you both more than words can say," as your lips met their skin.
The soft touch of your kiss stirred Harry from his slumber, his eyes fluttering open to meet yours. He blinked a few times, a sleepy smile forming on his face.
"Hey, love. You're back," he murmured, his voice laced with warmth and held a slight rasp due to the fact he just woken up.
You settled down beside them on the sofa, grateful for the comfort of their presence.
“Yes, I'm back. How was your day here with Low?" you asked, your voice filled with curiosity.
Harry shifted, making room for you on the sofa, careful not to disturb the snoozing tot.
"It was eventful, to say the least," he replied, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Willow had a bit of a rough time with her stomach, but we managed. We watched 'The Little Mermaid,' as she requested, and cuddled up together. She fell asleep just a little while ago."
A mix of relief and concern washed over you. "I'm glad she had you by her side, Harry. You always know how to make her feel safe and loved," you said, admiration evident in your voice.
Harry smiled, his eyes shining with love. "She's my little princess, after all. Taking care of her is the most important thing to me."
You took a moment to gaze at Willow, her tiny frame nestled against her father's. A surge of gratitude filled your heart for the incredible bond they shared.
"How was your day with Sarah and Glenne?" Harry asked, curiosity evident in his eyes.
You recounted the adventures of the day, sharing stories of the places you had visited and the laughter you had shared. The joy in your voice was contagious as you reminisced about the memories made with your friends.
As you finished sharing your day, you turned to Harry, your eyes filled with concern. "And how was Willow? Did she have a tough time today?"
Harry nodded, his expression filled with reassurance. "It was a bit challenging at times, but we managed. She had her moments of discomfort, but we made sure to give her the care she needed. She's a strong little girl, just like her mum."
A warm feeling spread within you, grateful for Harry's unwavering love and dedication to your family. You placed a gentle hand on Willow's back, feeling the rise and fall of her breath.
Love On Tour.
More like Sick On Tour.

I think we should talk more about the mysgony when it comes to parents in media, and how fathers are favoured and praised for the most the most basic shit while mothers are demonised for making mistakes or being bad. This is gonna be a long one, buckle up.
I hate Mrs Rosehearts as much as the next guy, but it's unfair that Mr Rosehearts is not given similar criticism for allowing his wife to treat Riddle the way he does. I hardly see people bring him up apart from mentioning that Riddle's parents probably have an unhappy marriage, and some people say something along the lines of "poor Mr Rosehearts, struggling with a wife like that".
Of course, we don't know enough about his character to gauge how Mrs Rosehearts treats him, bit it's clear he just passively stands to the side when it comes to whatever Mrs Rosehearts wants to do with Riddle. That itself is very harmful and it's own form of abuse, imo.
The same applies to Alador Blight from the Owl House. He's praised for being a wonderful dad that finally came through and stood up to his "horrible wretched bitch of a wife" (who, if she was a guy, would probably have more people analysing her and trying to find ways to sympathise with her just saying)..
And while, yes, he did stand up to her and that's a good thing, the general consensus is he was a brilliant dad from the start that was held back by his wife's wicked ways. But... that's not true? His first appearance is him telling Amity to stop being friends with Willow. He ignores his children constantly, and, like Mr Rosehearts, stands passively to the side when Odaliah treats her children like her property.
He's a neglectful parent at best and just as concerned with image and status at Odaliah at worst. But... that stuff is just forgotten. Most people just say "we thought he was bad but it turns out he was manipulated by his wife". He is HIS OWN PERSON. You cannot just blame everything on his "evil manipulative wife" (which is also smt that sometimes happens irl when both parents are abusive). He is still fully capable of making his own decisions.
And again, it's unfortunate, but if Odaliah were to be given his treatment or if Alador were a woman, the general response would be "That's sad but not an excuse! I can't believe she was forgiven!"
The worst I can think of atm, is Silco and Vi from Arcane. Now ofc they're not married. But the circumstances are similar.
Silco is praised to the high heavens for being one of the best dads in animation (#1 goes to Doofenshmirtz ofc, which I agree with) and the reasons for this are because he... shows his care, puts Jinx first, and loves her. Wow. Fucking groundbreaking am I right. The bar is soooo high/s
The thing is, Jinx is a child soldier. She works for Silco, protects his shipments of Shimmer, takes out the enemies that need taken out, etc. He found her as a young child, and when we cut to the present, she's murdering people without so much as flinching, even delighting in it, and suffering badly from trauma and hallucinations.
Obviously, Jinx was not given the care she needed, and was instead trained to assist Silco.
Am I denying Silco loves her? Of course not! He clearly does. But that's just not good enough. He's a loving dad, but not a good one. He's not the father that neither Jinx nor Powder needed.
Meanwhile, we have Vi. Vi loves Powder, protects her, cares for her, tries to keep her out of harm, stands up for her, and so on. She cares so deeply for Powder, and you can see it. The moment she got out of prison, her first goal was to find Powder.
However, because she hit Powder once, and shouted at her, she's apparently an abusive monster who never cared about Powder. Reminder, she hit Powder because her entire family was killed in front of her and then she learned Powder was the reason that happened. She was like... 14? And she immediately left to calm down. She did not abandon Powder, she left to take a breather because she realised she was too angry. And when she came back, she was drugged and arrested.
Silco is a grown adult who purposefully flooded the streets of the Undercity with a highly addictive drug, turned Powder into a soldier, and is generally a terrible person, even if he is a three dimensional amd well written antagonist.
Vi started the story as a teenager suffering poverty and discrimination just like Silco, had to deal with her own parents death, then her adoptive family was killed in front of her, and then she was forcefully taken from her sister. And yet, people are convinced Vi is a terrible and abusive sister who never loved Powder?
The only example worse than this, methinks, is Stella and Stolas from Helluva Boss.
Stella is a shitty mother who ignores her daughter, which the the audience is shown via a scene were Octavia is having a nightmare and she tells Stolas to deal with it. She frequently screams and swears at Stolas and throws things at him, with no regard for her daughter's presence or feelings.
This is pretty terrible, right? Of course! Everyone knows Stella is a horrible mother.
Stolas on the other hand, is praised for being such an loving and caring father, who tries his best. He even has a song with Octavia!
Well, he also: openly talks about having sex with Blitz and how much he likes it while she was right there, told her people want her money and her body, generally doesn't pay much attention to her either bc he's wallowing about Blitz not loving him back, and doesn't give her feelings much regard.
And yet, the misogyny extends beyond just Stella because people generally agree that Octavia is ungrateful and doesn't appreciate Stolas enough. They get mad at her for disliking the fact that Stolas is cheating on her mother with an imp who's been nothing but rude to her and ruining their family further, and even mock her for feeling unloved. Hell even Brandon, one of the creators, has allegedly recently called her a "cockblocking slut" which, frankly, is a disgusting thing to say about a 17 year old girl.
Idk man I'm just tired.

I feel like a lot of people misread Willow as being the mentally stable friend.
She’s not, she just puts up a good front. Her goals aren’t about her. She doesn't consider her own emotions. Everything's about others.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Willow is someone who tries her best to appear put together and stable on the outside. She won’t let you see her crack. Because to her her friends are 1000x more important. Many witches state a goal that involves their career or deepest wish for themselves when they chose a palisman or make one. Willow doesn’t, and she’s one of the few we’ve seen who makes this choice. She doesn’t want to be strong to help herself gain power, she wants power to protect those close to her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Willow isn’t one to let her emotions get the better of her. But when they do she breaks. She can’t put up with all the pressure, she has a breaking point. And this breaking point usually stems from this insecurity of her not being good enough. She needs to be good enough for others. And she is. But she’s not good enough for herself.
Willows an amazing friend but she’s in no way less mentally ill then anyone else. She is unsure of herself and always needs to prove herself to others. It’s not quite as obvious as it is with Hunter; he’s always running around trying to prove his worth and having panic attacks because of it. But it’s still there, she just does a good job of keeping it all inside.
Tumblr media
With Hunter we see this aspect of him a lot. It’s a huge plot point in Eclipse Lake. He’s scared of rejection from Belos. He’s scared of being replaced. He’s scared of not having a place in the world. He puts the needs of others over his own constantly. But Hunter can’t put up a front like Willow can. The only time we get to really explore Willows insecurity's properly is when we literally are seeing inside her head. The episodes literally called Understanding Willow for crying out loud:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As someone who was bullied mercilessly for years when I was the age Willow is in this memory I really understand this whole episode on a very personal level. The things people said to Willow got to her. Her inner self says she’s just “finishing what (Amity) started.” Even when she heals her relationship with Amity she still has moments of insecurity. She calls herself, “half-a-witch.” She gets mad when Amity trys to protect her. She gets upset when she is captured by someone she trusted. All these things resurface old familiar emotions for her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Willow has been trying her whole life to help people and for so long it didn’t work out. Amity calls her a “weakling.” She vows to be a powerful witch. Amity tells her she causes problems. Willow says she is going to protect everyone she loves. Amity rejects Willows friendship and picks on her.
Willow is scared of rejection.
Scared of disappointing people.
She is upset when Amity replaces her with new friends and lets them pick on her.
She can’t deal with any of these emotions - similarly to Hunter - so she combats it by constantly comforting and prioritizing others.
Tumblr media
Willows incredibly powerful and strong. And amazing friend and a force not to be taken lightly.
Tumblr media
But in no way is she over these deep rooted anxiety's of losing her friends, not being able to protect people, or being a nuisance and a problem.
I really want this to be an aspect of her that is focused on sometime in the future, because its a problem she has that is never really solved.
She’s not completely indestructible.

Wished Away 4
Do The Research (or, How to Sell Your Sister's Soul):
The Ghost King paused, blinking, “You’re not actually trying to sell her soul?”
“No!” Buffy shouted, “I want to sell my soul for her!”
The King blinked some more, “But the ritual sells Dawn’s soul, not yours.”
He stopped floating and poked at the ritual circle, pointing out, “You used the right runes to sell her soul, not yours.”
“I wanna sell my soul,” Buffy assured, almost desperately.
“Okay, time out,” the King made the motions needed, “why are you trying to sell me souls? What for?”
And so Buffy explained and the King listened attentively, asking questions as needed and obviously already planning an offense.
The King, Danny, clapped his hands, “Okay, so here’s how we’ll play this. I’ll accept Dawn Summers’ soul—ah, ah, ah, hear me out, Buffy—like I said, I’ll take Dawn back with me to my dimension while we all work together on this Glory situation. After the dust settles, I’ll send her back. I don’t actually want her soul. So I’ll technically own her soul but we’ll do…shared custody? If that’s okay with you?”
He thought some more, “I’ll also pay her bills; like child support.”
The Scoobies boggled.
“That’s it?” Xander finally asked, “you wanna…adopt Dawnie?”
“Yes? That’s how we treat any kids I get sold. Adopted. Ours. Dawn would be my fourth child, second daughter…although I would probably just act as her uncle in this case. Her care and keeping would still fall to me.”
“Buffy,” Anya spoke up, “take the deal. I don’t think he’s lying.”
“But—”
“Slayer,” murmured Spike, “he isn’t lying. Bloke’s bein’ honest. Take the deal, protect the Nibblet.”
“What do we tell everyone while I’m gone?” Dawn asked.
“That you went to yer wanker of a da,” Spike answered quickly, “he took ya away from Sunnyhell, finally answered his phone after yer Mum died.”
“We’ll pack some things, make it look good,” Willow added, “we’ll pack a lot of your things, like you really are moving out.”
“Everyone will be upset you’re gone,” Tara agreed softly, “so it’ll be an easy charade.”
“I do want copies of her medical records,” Danny spoke up mildly, before asking, “So, Buffy Summers, do we have a Deal?”
“Dawn?”
“If he can help with Glory—”
“If I can’t, I can find someone who can.”
“Then I’ll go with him.”
Buffy nodded, squared her shoulders and said, “Then we have a Deal.”
Danny nodded, “Well, then Dawn Summers, welcome to the family.”
Within the day things were packed and the needed files were gathered.
The Scoobies met Dawn’s new family, or, well, part of it.
Who quickly absorbed the entirety of the Scoobies into the family, very few questions asked and most of them about allergies and favorites.
Even Spike was accepted, though the King’s parents had questions for him about his biology.
Eventually, though, it was time to say goodbye and Dawn was taken through a portal.
Danny and his eldest son—who refused to give any other name than ‘Chat Noir’, or, in English, the Black Cat—stayed behind as the atmosphere shifted into something decidedly more…tactical.

Willow Month 2023: Day 2- Favorite Relationship
Tumblr media
If you read my day 1 entry, this will be similarly unsurprising. Obviously Kit and Jade are my favorite relationship on the show. From the first moment Jade flicked her eyes down to Kit's lips, I knew I was going to ship them regardless if it was canon or not.
Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long to have my feelings confirmed by the show itself. I adored how their relationship was built. The foundation of inseparable best friends ("For Kit and only Kit", "I can't do this without you") gives way effortlessly to the clear, overwhelming, yet buried love and desire they have for each other.
One of the most fascinating things about them is while most stories (especially mainstream) will build both romantic and sexual tension in a queer relationships by keeping them apart. Willow really said "What if the tension comes from them kissing immediately and then not being able to unpack that till way later?" It makes their every interaction have this hidden weight to it, whether they're just joking around around the rest of the crew (almost trying to pretend they're "just good friends" so nobody suspects anything, which Boorman clocked day 1) or they're having an argument as if having that tension bottled up is rippling and causing easy discussions to be fights (specifically thinking about the Wildwood).
For Kit's brashness and bad attitude with everyone else, when it comes to Jade, she acts so differently. Where she holds grudges a lot, Jade admitting she had been lying to her about training results in Kit pouting, sure, but in the immediate aftermath of the Battle of the Slaughtered Lamb it's like she has already processed it. Instead, she is in full "Comfort Jade" mode, which continues into Nockmaar.
Jade's statement "Who protects Kit? I do." in the finale hits me so hard because it doesn't come off as Kit is a damsel always needed to be saved. Instead, it has the feeling of "She is my partner and we need each other. We keep each other safe. We look out for each other." When they're separated, they're capable, but they're better together. They're better together because they push each other to be better after the training lie is revealed. There are so many moments where they deal with the exact baggage they need to in order to be in a romantic relationship together.
This can be individual baggage like Kit's anxiety about her connection to Bavmorda or Jade's discovery of her heritage; or it can be shared baggage like learning Kit's dad killed Jade's. At each step, they go through these huge moments that could have massive ramifications in their lives, they deal with them, and they look at each other like "As long as we're together, we can get through anything."
I also think about how at no point does Kit lash out at Jade for pulling her away from her father, as all of that anger is directed at Elora (despite Jade being the one that physically restrained and removed her from the Tomb). This ties back into that feeling that they protect each other. She doesn't blame Jade because she's her partner, she had no choice but to protect her, whereas Elora had no responsibility to save her, which also is a big moment that sets up their connection later (but that's another essay).
The trust Jade shows Kit at the end of episode 7 ("I think you're going to make that decision on your own") hits me so hard because it is this clear feeling of growth on both their parts. It's Jade taking her hands off the wheel and making it more of an equal partnership between them, where up to now, she's often had to be the voice of reason to rein in Kit's poor decision making.
"When you love someone, and they need you, yes, you jump off the edge of the world to go and get them."
I've made the joke that Kit and Jade made me believe in love again, but it's true. Their connection, support, friendship, deep attraction, and overwhelming love for each other felt so vivid, so real, so beautiful, there are painfully few relationships that live in my heart and mind like Kit and Jade.
Oh and they had the two most intimate and beautiful kiss scenes I've seen in ages, if not ever.

I want ALL of your Amity's analysis. Do u hear me? ALL, hahaha
ok bet
The family Amity grew up in was very simple: Odalia and Alador are the authority, Edric and Emira can do no wrong (though, of course, it’s more complicated than that), and Amity can never be enough.
Luz was everything Amity wanted to be herself.
She loved Grudgby, but she stopped playing it because she didn’t like the person she was while playing.
She has no fucking idea on how to talk to people, including and especially Willow.
Amity wasn’t going to fucking dissect Luz, and neither was Principal Bump.
Amity Blight does not cheat. That is an essential part of her character. She does not cheat to get to where she is, because 1) Blights don’t cheat (and it doesn’t matter whether or not that’s actually true) and 2) Amity doesn’t cheat. Amity doesn’t cheat because she’s worked hard for every single thing she’s ever been given and cheating would undermine her entire character.
She doesn’t have many safe spaces, so when she does find one, she makes sure to go all-out on making it feel like home.
Amity grew up having to justify every single thing she did to her parents, having to justify her own existence, and that especially includes things she enjoys.
If Luz hadn’t joined Edric and Emira in the library during Lost in Language, the relationship between the twins and Amity literally would have been damaged irreparably. She would have never spoken to them again.
Luz was the first person on-screen to make her laugh.
She is just a little bit dumb sometimes <3
Luz saying “We can fix this together” in Understanding Willow is one of the most monumental moments in Amity’s entire life.
If it weren’t for Luz, Amity almost 100% would’ve campaigned for the role of Grom Queen. Because Luz was there, though, her fears changed, and she knew it.
Amity was going to confess to Luz before she had to go and fight Grometheus in Enchanting Grom Fright, but Luz offering to take her place stopped her in her tracks, because she wasn’t at all ready for that.
Amity’s fear, too, is the culmination of everything she was scared of losing, not just Luz rejecting her advances.
After King’s reassurance in Eclipse Lake, she’s self-aware enough to understand that the similarities between herself and Hunter don’t necessarily have to be a bad thing, and she makes a conscious effort to reach out to him.
She started learning Spanish before she was stranded in the Human Realm in an attempt to further connect with Luz.
Amity does not snoop through Luz’s things even when she thinks knowing more could help because she’s had that happen to her and she understands how small it makes you feel. She is ridiculously emotionally intelligent when it comes to Luz, and, later, when it comes to herself.
She would do anything for her friends.
She’s the only witch who’s ever read The Good Witch Azura series, which she latched onto because it served as a sort of escape for her. She sees herself within Hecate, because despite her wrongdoings, the narrative treats her with kindness. Consequently, the book in which Hecate is effectively redeemed is the only one she hadn’t been able to collect herself.
She sets incredible boundaries with her father. He’s trying now, sure, but that doesn’t take back the years of pain, and it shouldn’t.
Amity gets noticeably more and more silly as the time goes on, because she’s coming back into herself.
Also as time goes on, her magic grows more versatile!
She was not trying to antagonize Willow in Labyrinth Runners, but trying way too hard to protect the person that she had once hurt so deeply. It’s a setback, nothing more, and one that arises from miscommunication. It’s settled, too. They’re on the same page now.
And because of that, Amity is able to let herself be silly with Willow, too!!
She may be the least powerful (certainly one of the least powerful, at least) of the main cast, but that’s a good thing.
It’s also a good thing that we haven’t seen her library hideout since season 1, as cute as it was. She doesn’t need it anymore.
Over time, her relationship with her siblings has improved to the point that they know her well enough to know how to calm her down, and she’s comfortable with them to be able to talk freely about Luz.
Amity still had hope for Odalia, because even after everything she’s done to her, Amity still wanted to believe that she wasn’t all bad.
She tried so hard to make sure Luz also got through the portal in King’s Tide. She would’ve stayed behind if Luz did.
Amity knows full well in Thanks to Them that Luz is feeling guilty, if not the extent of it, and she tries to help out by setting up Halloween costumes that she thinks they’ll both love; Hecate and Azura, which is the thing they bonded over initially.
Recognizing that Luz doesn't feel like she deserves love, Amity quotes her girlfriend to show her that, yes, she does, and this is how much she means to her.

Another hc time!!! This one was fun to make,,,
I stand by my placements, if you have something to say, you're wrong :)
JK...kinda
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hogwarts addition
Dick:
Dick is a Gryffindor
This bitch is hanging off the moving stairs railing, flipping from branch to branch on the weeping willow, and doing hand stands on his flying broom
The definition of no fear gryffindor
Has the anger issues for it
Pulls pranks on the other houses (aka Slytherins)
Always in trouble for doing dangerous things
Favorite class is defense against the dark arts
Can’t be on the quidditch team bc during try outs he kept doing tricks instead of protecting the goal
His roommates is Wally, Roy, and cyborg
Somehow became a prefect
Lol this is just a nicer James Potter
Jason:
Jason is a Ravenclaw
Smart ass,
he’s those types of Ravenclaws
Helps makes the riddles for the Ravenclaw dorms every year
Really good in his classes and his teachers love him,
or they would if he wasn’t picking fights with the Gryffindors
Potions is class is his favorite
Snape wants to hate him, but can’t bc Jason is the best in his class
On the quidditch team (the members were scared bc his brother dick wanted to be fancy with acrobatics, but he’s surprisingly good),
he plays beater
Prefers to throw hands instead of using words (despite his house).
he wouldn't unless he really needs to,
or if they're a Gryffindor (those bitches be annoying) (yes that includes Dick)
Has weekly book club
Tim:
Tim is a slytherin
Another smart ass,
but unlike Jason (who raather fight then waist time with words), Tim has a mouth
Calls out bullshit in the teachers are saying in the classes
All his teachers hate him, especially Snape which actually shocks everyone,
Tim calls him out on his blatant favoritism (even tho its his own house) (He gon call it how he sees it)
Denied any prefect or headboy offerers (it’s not his thing)
Has a lot of gryffindor and Hufflepuff friends
Finds quidditch boring
Did I mention he’s has a mouth,
like Jason has a mouth too, but Tim is just mean
Picks fights with ravenclaws bc they think just bc they're the “smart house” that they are smarter then him
Did I say mean?
I meant unhinged,
boy will make you feel dumb
Slytherin behavior, honestly
Dating a gryffindor (Conner) or dating a ravenclaws (Bernard) (or both) (whichever you wanna pick)
Damian:
Damian is a Hufflepuff
Was loudly upset when he was sorted into Hufflepuff
"I should be in Sltherin, the only house that's up to standers and the most logical choice"
He actually doesn't mind being in Hufflepuff after getting situated
He loves Hagrid only bc of they share love for magical animals
Also on the quidditch team,
Plays Seeker
He's small which makes him fast enougth to chase after it
“Mean Hufflepuff”
Has friends from each house (Jon - Gryffindor, Raven - Slytherin, Colin - Ravenclaw, Billy and Beast boy - Hufflepuff also Damian’s roommates)
Favorite class is magical creature and where to find them,
obviously
Becomes headboy in later years
Also: it was lost on me as a teen viewer why Faith goes back at the end of 4x16. I kind of got it but it genuinely hit me in this recent rewatch like
FAITH wants to run, but she knows Buffy wouldn’t and so she has to go back because she’s BUFFY now and Buffy is better than Faith. Buffy is a good person. Buffy would never leave it as someone else’s problem. Faith refuses to run because she’s In Buffy and she refuses to make Buffy as bad & disgusting as her!! I’m blowing myself up!!
She goes into full on panic when Riley is trying to be like actual-intimate, not quickie intimate. And like part of that is ABSOLUTELY her trauma & the fact that people have been “kind” to her so often to take advantage of her. But she’s also freaking out because this guy is trying to take advantage of BUFFY. Faith is used to sleazeballs saying & doing whatever to get to her & she tells herself she’s fine with it. But like having to be on the receiving end of genuine intimacy & kindness (especially from someone she doesn’t know how to say the right thing for, ie telling Joyce she’ll visit & Willow she’ll protect her)?
Like her instinct is already to be nasty and keep people at bay ie Tara, but someone trying to make HER be vulnerable & melting down and then in turn freaking out bc this guy MUST be taking advantage of Buffy?
Bri she loves her so much. Bri I’m crying. Bri she goes to such ridiculous lengths in her Crazy Girl Arc in Sunnydale. on some level it’s because she needs Buffy to hate her as much as she hates herself. But there is no way her LA Sequel moment is not in some way influenced by feeling Buffy’s residual emotions when they swap back & going “oh yeah wow I’m literally so bad, I can’t be fixed I need to die” and then goes of the handle AGAIN and tries the same tactic on Angel who recognizes it immediately.z
I’m rambling but ugh oh my god. I need a minute. I can’t take this. I can’t take Faith doing the absolute most to try and push everyone away & make them hate her even more as herself! And then doing the inverse as Buffy both because Faith doesn’t want to feel alone AND because she doesn’t want to ruin Buffy the way she ruined herself?
Evil. Evil!
Yeah it's definitely really tragic and deeply interesting that faith's view of herself by that point is that she's SO fundamentally Bad that she needs the pretense of being someone else (and BUFFY specifically) to do good.
There's lots of good meta out there about faith's implied sexual trauma and how that intersects with her violation of riley. I think that definitely one of the most fucked up and sad parts of it is how it's literally riley saying he loves buffy that makes faith freak out. "who are you? what do you want with her?" the stutter in faith's voice, the breathlessness. it's sheer terror. and it's horrible. and it ends with faith, in buffy's body, beating her own face bloody, in tears, "you're digusting," she screams at her own face. "you're nothing."
and promptly runs off to LA to try to get herself killed.
god, the whole arc is just brutal and devastating and gorgeous. even faith's ultimate decision to turn herself in and go to prison is rooted in what she imagines buffy would want.
faith's arc of how can i make buffy like me -> how can i make buffy hate me -> how can i make buffy kill me -> how can i make buffy pay for not killing me -> how can she ever forgive me -> how can i help her is SO good. i wish we'd had so much more faith in s7. the parts we get are tantalizing but i could have done with an entire season of weird divorced reconciliation vibes and pining. alas.
I agree that Luz "inheriting" Owlbert would be a really good way to end her arc about palismen on the surface, but do you think it could also interfere with her arc about becoming her own witch?
Looks within the fathoms of Pandora's box. There is... So much that could be unpacked with this. I won't cover it entirely here but Luz's 'arc' of becoming her own witch actually is fraught with topics like where she gets her magic, what her magic says about her, how the show frames her at the end, whether or not she actually ever becomes her own witch, whether or not Stringbean even counts as an extension of that with how he was made, if that theme was actually important to the show, let alone when put against themes like found family, etc. etc.
I'm going to TRY and keep this mostly to a fundamental flaw in your argument.
Just because a craftsman uses their master's tools does not mean they will make the same things the craftsman did.
Your argument says that Luz using a tool made by her to emulate someone else and make what they would (like... I dunno, Azura, who she quotes for her final lines while still having magic) is more herself than if she uses someone else's tools in order to make something that is truly unique to herself. That what a person does is less important than that which they use to do it. It robs Luz (and fucks over Hunter's arc from literally his second appearance) of agency in choosing what type of witch she wants to be.
Because, you know, if the palisman entirely decides the witch, are Gus and Willow now no longer their own people? They now must follow the paths that their palisman are okay with? The statement of intent helps but it isn't the whole person and also begs the question of if the statement even dictates the sort of person you are. Gus says he wants to be an ambassador to the human realm but that doesn't dictate if he'll do it with friendship, manipulation, tricks, illusions, etc. etc. which I would place WAY MORE importance on how he is an ambassador than literally the title of ambassador. Willow is similar. When she wants strength to protect her friends, is that to stop them being harmed from when they get into stupid situations or the power to be able to stop them from doing the thing in the first place if she thinks they'll hurt themselves doing something? And these two statements are awkward next to each other because one is a statement of morals and character while the other is just what they want to do in the future. Why are these both equally valid answers?
It's almost like it's really hard to boil someone down to a single sentence.
This is without getting into more abstract statements like "I want to be able to choose my own future." Cool. WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN AMITY!? That is actually just what Luz said that made it so she COULDN'T get a palisman so why did it work for you? Sure, it's nice to want choice but does that mean you intend to fight for other people to have that right? To become so powerful no one can dictate who you are? It's a meaningless statement without any further context and doesn't even have the morality or future plans that Gus or Willow had.
"I want to be understood," is the exact same. What does that say about the sort of person Luz wants to be, let alone what type of witch she wants to be. Worse yet is that Stringbean does react to the words but... Luz literally gave up agency with her palisman. She let Stringbean decide with no actual intent behind them. While nice for the meta theme of individuality and choosing your own way, it fucks over the ability for Stringbean to say ANYTHING about Luz, her relationships, her interest in what type of person she wants to be, etc. like that.
Worse yet, it's all tell, no show. How one uses their palisman should be way more indicative of who they are and the sort of witch they are than simply a single line said to them during creation, especially since people change. Circumstances change. The show even admits that having your entire world figured out at fourteen is not really a thing. It's part of why Luz doesn't make a choice or the like. Her statement is just a feel good one for her that entirely ignores the fact that everyone has shown her MOUNTAINS of understanding over the course of the series but apparently that wasn't good enough. Just one episode ago before that after all, she was forgiven for something she thought was unforgivable because her friends knew better than to think Luz would do something like this out of malice or on purpose. You know... Because they showed her understanding. But then we're told she needs MORE understanding.
Which one of these is more effective?
And hey, if the show really was worried that a palisman overrode who you were A: they wouldn't have given Hunter Caleb's palisman, let alone had Hunter absorb CALEB'S palisman because that kind of fucks his arc immediately of trying to be his own person. B: You can do something with that. We could have seen, even in just steps instead of a focused episode, that Luz and Owlbert struggle to work together at first because they are expecting different things out of each other. As the two show more understanding to each other though, accept who the other is, one of the other major themes of the show, they are stronger for it. There's enough familiarity to work together after all but they need to actually get in sync. Again, show this bond instead of just stating it.
Not only that but Luz is portrayed as someone who helps bring in others. That she theoretically helps people in bad situations find a place where they can be themselves. Taking in a palisman who no longer has a use would actually be a great follow up to that part of her character and a more explicit version of that hypothetical theme than what she does with most of the other characters. Instead, she is one of two Hexside members who gets to make their palisman (unless Amity didn't I guess). The only one who customizes specifically to her, in theory since she doesn't. Why didn't she take one in? Give them a place instead of leaving them as an outcast?
Unless we want to say that's not a part of who Luz wants to be. That that's on accident, which does feel accurate to a lot of what Luz does on this topic. That's also an inherent issue with her statement. "I want to be understood." It is an inherently selfish one. One that asks others to show endless understanding... Even if she doesn't have to. After all, she's allowed to lie, ENDLESSLY, break her word and act behind people's back but the one time Eda does that, for Luz's safety? Luz doesn't show her ANY understanding. Doesn't give her even a chance to explain or talk. Instead, she gets into a fight with Eda. That plus her statement seems to imply that Luz being her own witch is... Selfish. Self serving. That who she wants to be as this mythical figure is for herself.
The final part of TOH doesn't help with it either. An older Luz should have had a real statement for what she wanted to study. "I'm choosing X because of Y goal." Instead her goal is just... Magic. To do as much as she wants. Actually putting it to use? Who needs that? That's actual work and having to make decisions instead of being an eternal student. Of having to take a title beyond just 'witch'.
This still isn't even all of it. Siiiiiigh.
What's worse is that even the action of Luz trying to give Stringbean their own option in this is the facsimile of compassion. Sure, she let it be up to her but... Couldn't you come out already? I know I left you in an egg because I refused to be open and honest with you and make an actual bond but come on, stop making me sad because you're not awake yet. After all, Amity even has to comfort Luz about the fact Stringbean hasn't hatched. If Luz actually gave a fuck about the thing's agency... She would just grin and bear it because that's part of allowing someone else to make a choice: Dealing with the consequences.
Luz, and to some extent the show, didn't want those though. Instead, they wanted a couple nice lines that make NO SENSE in context but sound really nice to the people projecting onto Luz. Because they TOLD us nice things, they stopped caring about what the actions were saying.
And actions will always speak louder than words so no, I don't think Owlbert would have gotten in the way of Luz defining what sort of witch she wants to be. No worse than Stringbean did at least.
What will happen in your au version of for the future
Tumblr media
there's some stuff i'm gonna touch on in comics in more detail but the rundown is after making it back, eda is gonna separate from the group with darius and eber to get king
she doesn't know how long she might be back in her normal form before the beast takes over and she refuses to let her son be in harm's way and never see him again.
Caleb wants to talk to her about the hunter and luz thing in more detail but she's not ready yet, so she leaves and tells him to keep an eye on the kids and find a safe place to protect them.
This includes luz, despite their reunion, she wants luz safe and away from collector.
A part of eda also wants to confront lilith too.
so the caleb gang do eventually get to hexside via survivors, and kikimora, instead of what happens in canon, is actually in charge of the group in a more honest way.
In fact she's trying to figure out a plan to stop collector and free philip.
She actually thought caleb and hunter might of also been captured by collector too, so she was trying to free her family and in the meantime she and steve have been helping survivors.
Basically she finally got the power position she wanted, but it's for good reasons.
so family reunion with her.
They're planning to stay and take shelter like eda asked but luz refuses for them to hide like this, she's tired of being underestimated by eda and thinks they should all go after the collector with kiki's plans.
She is worried sick eda won't make it.
Willow is feeling the pressure of her parents being captured and hunter is doing his best to reassure her and so is gus, who is talking to hunter about knowing his and luz's secret.
Amity however, finds out odalia is working with collector via intel from kiki and kiki's own inventions, collector who captured her dad and has left her siblings in the state they are and she is PISSED.
Both her and luz want to go up there and confront the people they believe to have hurt their family and they confront how they are both being projected onto and that to succeed they need to be their honest selves.
Which is perfect for them and their own confession.
but things are starting to shake up as whatever titan trappers are left get word of them arriving and start to break in to capture them. Leading to a very different fight in the detention pit.
Hunter does get his memory of EAE removed, deciding to do the plan and get into the head.
Hunter's palisman comes to life when he confronts caleb about how he wants nothing more then to stay in the demon realm, to study magic, make palisman, and live his best life there.
Caleb spent awhile considering if leaving earth was the worst mistake he ever made and it made hunter wonder the same, if nothing ever would of gotten so bad if he stayed like he was supposed to.
and this is a moment of caleb being honest and saying "No, you being here is everything to me, i got to live my best life here and so should you. You should get to be anything you want to be, and live as fully as you want. I may of made mistakes, but coming here was not one of them, and neither was having you as my kid".
Fully forgiving himself for the mistakes he made.
they get into the titan head after the fact.
As far as collector goes, Lilith and king have been conspiring against him, but neither want to hurt him. They want philip to join but he just.....sits there, depressed. They have bonded over the months but he refuses to do anything but let himself suffer.
The titan trappers let collector know the gang arrived, and that eda is coming for king and they're planning to end him. He doesn't assume king or lilith would agree to this, but then sees them reuinite with eda and that they are up for stopping him and assumes the worst of the situation.
i can get into more detail later
but that's a good summary of events till then
BG3 Backstory Bash by Kelandrin
This is a challenge to help people flesh out their Tav’s backstory by exploring their past. It is organized into four sections with seven prompts. You can treat this as a monthly challenge or a general project. You can write headcanons, fics, or share art based on the prompts! You can interpret the prompts however you want. If you want to share use the tag #bg3backstorybash
I saw their post of this and thought it would be fun to do! I am choosing to do Willow Hvithrafn in this post and may do Daryna Stalwart in another post, just as I did for the Get To Know Your Tav post (Daryna's, Willow's) I am going to tag a few people who may be interested in doing this, but this is not a tag game. You don't need to make your own post or tag others. @underdark-dreams @my-favourite-zhent @dustdeepsea @voloslobotomyservice @faerunsbest
Baby:
Parents: Human father named Mathias, high (moon) elf mother named Estre
Birth: A difficult, long labor for Estre in the middle of Spring (sometime in the month of Tarsakh (April in Earth months))
First word: "No"
When they first walked: Trying to go after Estre as she left to relieve some of her wanderlust, which was very frequently.
Tantrum: When Estre left yet again on her fourth birthday.
First sickness: Days after Estre left on her fourth birthday, Willow fell into a serious flu-like sickness for several weeks that left her alone with the healers at Lathander's monastery as her father did not want to "deal with it".
Thunderstorm: She disliked storms only because the stars were hidden, and stars were her only friends growing up.
Childhood:
Friends: Willow was very cold and distant from everyone growing up because of the neglect from her father and perceived repeated abandonment from her mother who was never quite present when with Willow. Due to this behavior, she never had any friends growing up.
Siblings: Willow is unaware, but she has two half sisters and her mother and father has a son who they love after she left home.
Getting into trouble: She often was spoken to and reprimanded for pushing or punching local and school bullies.
Birthday: Sometime in the latter part of Tarsakh in the spring.
Games: Willow has no patience nor any interest in games.
Learning something new: Unless it is related to combat, strength training, or something related, she has little to no interest. She is not unintelligent, but she isn't especially talented at anything either. She is just average.
Trauma: Her father neglected her, her mother was hardly ever around, she was bullied for emotionally struggling and for crying over everything to the point she grew cold and distant and emotionless until she met Geraldus.
Teenager:
First love: Willow never loved anyone until she met Geraldus as an adult.
Rebellion: Her "rebellious" phase was standing up for others to bullies and being physically violent with them.
Running away: Willow hated her mother's wanderlust and leaving so much she tries to suppress that part of her and viewed running away as the same thing. Although, she exhibits similar behavior by walking away/removing herself from uncomfortable situations.
Reckless behavior: Standing up to anyone and everyone who were mean, especially those who physically bullied others. Sometimes she would get hurt trying to defend others.
Peer pressure: She has never been subject to peer pressure as she never cared what others thought after she emotionally sealed herself off.
Growing pains: She had a lot of knee and lower back pain.
Taking responsibility: When it comes to protecting others, she is good with responsibility. But if she misbehaves or hurts an innocent she gets defensive out of embarrassment and will walk away/storm off.
Adulthood:
Their “first time”: Their first time will be with Geraldus, several months or so after they officially get together.
Serious relationships: Her one and only serious relationship will be with Geraldus.
Work: She is a Harper, and growing up she did side jobs (vermin extermination, pet sitting, etc) to get money to pay for a special weapon.
Leaving home: She left home at 20, joined the Harpers at 27.
Aging: Gracefully as she is a half high elf.
Finding their place: She only finds her "place" once she's accepted Geraldus in the others as a part of her life.
Staring a family/found family: Willow does not want to have children, and will never have any. Kava, a Dragonborn who joined the Harpers, is the only one she considers a friend, almost like a brother, and Geraldus is her love.
Masterlist // Navigation
--------------------------------------------------
You are almost certain you are lost.
Like, if the slowly descending sun wasn’t an obvious indicator, you had passed the same tree at least three times. And you only know it was the same tree because it had a specific notch in the trunk that looked like a diamond. You didn’t know how much longer you could go before it got dark, and your horse was beginning to tire.
Deciding it was time to make camp for the night, you steer your horse off the path towards a larger willow tree, the base of the tree large enough for a shelter if the weather becomes unfavorable. Letting your horse look for food, you settle at the base, your gab in hand as you pull out your map and try to make out a different path you could take.
You were heading towards a village near the south, about a two-days ride from your own village. The market at this specific village was known to have good deals and a healthy amount of foreign goods that would migrate over. You were looking for a notebook, one that was sturdy enough for your writing.
You were a writer, one who created different romance type books for women. You had your own stall at your village’s market where you sold these books. They were advertised as recipe books and sewing books, but all the women in your village knew. You were still in a time where women independence and pleasure was taboo, and if the men in your village knew what you were doing, you would be sol—married off.
You had been a ward of the village after your parents died from a fire that happened when you were a child. You were taken in by the village’s scribe, who wrote down every birth, death and marriage as well as other historical events within your small community. This is where your love of writing blossomed and grew into what it is now: a passion.
You were getting ready to scrawl down a new path within your notebook when you heard your horse whine, somewhere past the line of trees to your right. You stood up, sword drawn when you were pushed down. Your head was in the dirt, a hand pressed to your skull as your hands were bind behind your back and your things confiscated.
“Hey! What is the meaning of this?” You ask the men, you counted three, as you were pulled up. By your knowledge, you hadn’t trespassed onto anyone’s property, nor did you manage to lose yourself in someone else’s kingdom; you had made sure you didn’t enter any territory that you weren’t familiar with.
“You are under arrest for trespassing on King Hoseok’s land without proper papers. We are taking you to the castle where you will be tried.” Your eyes widened in shock. You hadn’t even heard of this man nor his kingdom before. As far as you knew, you were passing through King Min’s territory. How in the world did you stray so far from the path marked on your map?
The two men on either side of you, holding onto your elbows, began to carry/drag you forward, passed the line of trees and deeper into the forest. It was as if you passed through one of the fairy tale books your mother used to tell you when you were a child, ones filled with scary dragons and mighty knights.
“Hold on a minute. I’ve never heard of a King Hoseok! I was passing through King Min’s territory only minutes before we stopped!” You tried to plead with the guards, their attire telling you they worked for the royal family, but their emblem made no sense. It was a sweet looking flower, a small smiley face in the middle.
The men ignored you, only tugging you further into the forest. You cursed under your breath, trying to release yourself from their grasp. You received a shove in the ribs instead, making you gasp at the pain now radiating from your abdomen.
“What was that for! I have done nothing wrong!” You yell at the man who elbowed you, your glare shooting daggers at the man.
“Just shut up and be quiet.” He only spared you a glance, making you stick your tongue out at him. As you turned your head it seemed like a veil was pulled over it. Suddenly you weren’t staring at a never-ending forest, you were looking at a large castle, two large towers almost blocking your view of the sky.
It made no sense, you were just staring at a forest of green, but now was what seemed like mere meters away from the entrance to the castle.
“How…?” You tried to question, but were silenced by a slap to your cheek, your head turning from the force. You could feel your cheek burn, the skin surely hot to the touch. Looking to the guard who told you to shut up before, you kicked him in the back of the knee, knocking him to the ground and making the other guard grab you by the stomach, pulling you into him with a knife to your neck.
“How dare you!” The guard was about to hit you again when someone cleared their throat behind your group. Everyone froze, the man clearing his throat again. You could see the anger on the guard’s face at being interrupted, his anger shown by his clenched fists as he moved them to his side before turning to face the newcomer.
“May I remind you that all trespassers are to go before the King before any punishment is dealt?” The newcomer speaks, an aura of authority surrounding him as he looks down on the guard who hit you. It has you biting back a smirk as you watch the guard being berated for his actions.
“No Sir.”
“Then why does she have a handprint on her cheek, and a dislocated rib?” Dislocated rib? Is that what that pain is? You weren’t entirely sure how the man knew about your rib, or that it was dislocated, but you didn’t argue.
“Never mind. I don’t want to hear your excuses.” The newcomer moves towards you, pushing the guards out of the way before helping you to your feet, the previous guard having dropped you to the ground when he pulled back.  Once back on your feet, he brings you to the doors of the castle, the two doormen didn’t hesitate to let you in, bowing slightly to the man who pulled you along.
“I am the Marshal of King Hoseok’s court. I am to take you before him so he can decide if you are to remain prisoner here, or if you are to be let go.” The man spoke in a hushed tone, raspy in his age as he moved. You only nodded, not wanting to push his buttons.
You had witnessed a Marshal before, and only before he beheaded a thief who tried to steal from him in front of the village you were visiting. You knew how much power the man held compared to you. You knew nothing of this kingdom or its people, so you knew your safest bet was to remain quiet.
You walked for a couple of minutes until you entered a grand room, glass ceilings and what seemed like walls made of trees. You couldn’t help but gasp at the beauty of the room, wondering how architecture like this was unseen and unheard of where you grew up.
“Marshal Kim! How nice to see you so soon again! What do you have there?” Your head turned to the front of the room, a man with sharp features sitting upon the throne. He wore a flower crown that seemed almost as elegant and regal as the man himself.
King Hoseok watched on as you stared at him, your own features catching him off guard. You were the most beautiful creature he has ever seen, and he was the King of the Forest. A Fae in his own right. He recognized instantly your status as a human and couldn’t help but wonder how a human made it into his territory. The only way a human could enter were if they were part supernatural themselves, or if they were a mate to someone within the forest.
Given his feelings upon seeing you, he figured the latter.
He narrowed his gaze on you, looking for any sign of discomfort or pain as he noticed your hands bound behind your back. He could see you favoring your right side, and almost growled at the handprint covering your left cheek. He could feel the vines growing behind him and took a deep breath in, trying to calm himself from killing someone. He didn’t want to scare you off before he even got the chance to have you.
His eyes latched onto his Marshal’s hand on your elbow, making his eyes flash green before he was sitting up straight in his seat. “Let go of her before you lose your hands, Marshal Kim.” You felt the quick removal of the Marshal’s grasp, his body moving a foot away from yours as he flinches at the King’s tone.
You were still looking forward, watching the King as he looked at you, his body standing up from his throne and walking in a slow pace towards you. You stayed frozen, not wanting to underestimate this King. You knew something was off, with everything, but you didn’t want to die from your own foolishness.
“Who touched you like this?” He was closer now, hand inching closer until he held your chin in his grip, tilting your head every which way as if he could sense whose handprint was left behind.
“Knight Ahn, Sir. He and two others found her just inside the borders before nightfall. Said she was trespassing.” Marshal Kim is the one who spoke up, as if you couldn’t talk on your own. Well, you couldn’t really with the way the King was gripping your chin and cheek.
You watched as King Hoseok’s eyes flashed green, a growl like sound rumbling from his chest as he turned his head to look towards his Marshal. You were surprised at the calm aura leaving the man, as you would have already started crying at the look coming from the King in front of you.
“You know where to put him. I would like a few words with my new… prisoner.” With a wave of his hand, the Marshal was leaving, going to bring the man who hit you only the King knows where. You were blindsided by the way the King was acting, not able to guess his next move.
When the doors to the large room closed, you fought yourself to cry right then and there. You knew what the price of trespassing was, and you would have rather not died in the place where you nothing about anything.
“Please, Your Highness, I had no clue I was trespassing on your territory. You see, your territory is not on the map I have, and I was merely trying to pass through to head south to the large market within Queen Hyolyn’s territory. I mean no harm.” You practically pleaded with the royal, trying to convince him to let you go.
The King only hummed at your words, his eyes looking you over, from top to bottom as his eyes still glowed their unnatural green. It reminded you of one of the fairytales you read as a child, with a monster whose eyes glowed red when they were hungry. You truly hoped that wasn’t the case here.
“My little human…I don’t think you realize the implications of your entry into my land. You see…” Hoseok walks in a circle around you, admiring you from every angle as he tries to explain your place here, with him. “The second you walked onto my land, you became mine.” He stopped as he stood in front of you, his finger moving forward to tilt your head up, your eyes now latching onto his own.
Seeing the confused look on your face, Hoseok moves to explain further.
“You see, my darling little human, this is the Forbidden Forest.” Your eyes grow wide at the mention of the forest you were always warned against entering. You didn’t know how you managed to stray so far from your marked path.
“Only those with supernatural blood in their veins, or mates of those within can enter through the barrier. I wonder which category you fall under, my dear.” You can feel the sweat beginning to fall from your brow as he moves closer, his lips now only centimeters away from your own.
“Seeing as you are now mine, I think it would be best of you were taken to my chambers.” He abruptly turned from you, moving back towards his throne as the doors opened again, this time two women moving forward and bowing before the King. “Take my darling human to my chambers. But,” He growled out the last word, turning to look the two women in the eyes as he did, “do not touch her. Only I can have that privilege.”
It was as if time stilled for you, your eyes caught on the King as the two women ushered you out of the room and up a couple flights of stairs. You were brought to a large door that was the only one in the long hallway. It opened into a huge room, one that had the King’s bed up a couple of stairs and on a platform about a foot above the rest of the room.
There were plants everywhere, and it reminded you of a cozy common room with different chairs and a couch surrounding a small table. A bay window stood opposite the door and overlooked the Forbidden Forest. It was absolutely beautiful and had you not wanting to leave.
Once the women left, you could hear the door being locked behind you.
You didn’t know what to do. You were only supposed to be gone for no less than a week, and now you were trapped here. You had no clue why the King wanted to keep you, despite his explanation. There was no way you were supernatural, apart of the stories you read as a child, nor were you a mate to anyone, especially the King. You were not worthy of the title or position.
The King was way to handsome to be paired with the likes of you, you thought, brushing your hand through your hair as your nerves got the best of you. You could feel your frustrations growing until you had tears building in your eyes. You were scared and worried about what this meant for you.
You sat down on the bed, expecting a soft mattress and blankets only to sit on something hard. You turn around, standing up a little only to see a couple of notebooks and a set of pens. The notebooks looked as though they cost a fortune, more gold coins than you had in your possession. Leather covers in different colors you were not familiar with. You were sure they were not here when you looked over the room before.
Picking up one of the notebooks, you looked over it, opening it up to see a small note inscribed onto the inside cover.
My darling Human,
I heard you were a writer.
How in the world did he know that? It’s not like you were able to speak more that trying to garner your freedom. So how did he know that you were going to the market in search of quality notebooks. Despite the means with which you were given the notebooks, you held them to your chest, not letting them go even as you fell asleep in the hours that passed since your capture.
It had to have been past midnight when the King eventually returned to his chambers only to find you laying on top of the covers, notebooks he had brought to you clutched tightly to your chest. Your face was calm, sleep capturing your silhouette perfectly in his eyes.
He couldn’t help but to thank his witches for bringing you to him, causing your horse to forge on the path he desired. He had done enough waiting for you to come on your own, and had to do something to have you by his side.
It looked like his prisoner would be his wife soon.
Belos finds out about Hunter's crush on Willow: I NEED THIS, I NEED BELOS BEING MAD AT HUNTER JUST FOR HAVING FEELINGS, I NEED HIM TO BE SO FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THE HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF, I NEED HUNTER BEING ASHAMED OF IT EVEN IF HE DOESN'T WANT TO, what if Hunter denys it just so he can protect himself and Willow but she listen to it and think that he really doesn't feel anything for her I NEED HUNTER PROTECTING WILLOW, I NEED HUNTER FUCKING EMBRACING HIS OWN FEELINGS AND USING THEM AS A REASON TO CONFRONT BELOS, I NEED ANGST, I NEED MY "Caleb it's not the only one who fell for a witch" MOMENT
Boiling Islands: The first special probably it's gonna be just about the kids, but probably, maybe at the end, we are gonna see how the BI are
Camila and Vee being a par de chismosas: LISTEN TO ME IF CAMILA AND VEE DON'T TALK ABOUT THE TEENAGE DRAMA THIS KIDS HAVE IM GONNA EXPLODE "so did Gus told you who is that Matt that got him with the head up in the clouds?" "no, but i saw Amity making a gift for Luz" "OMG and it's pretty?"
Willow being the mother of the gang: i know Camila its there but... Pls
"Byeeeee!": you know what im talking about AND DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT BECAUSE YOU WANT IT TOO
Luz's meltdown: when i thought about it i pictured Luz being mad for a lot of things (the BI, Belos, Amity wanting to know Phillip's thing, her classmates) and then she goes to her room, watch the palisman egg and get even mader because it isn't broken yet, and then it happens, she can't with it anymore.
Big fight scene: we obviously are gonna get it BUT I really want Hunter, Willow and Amity being the protagonist of it.
Lumity argument: Luz its keeping secrets again, and thats not good.
Amity talks about Odalia: i want her having a heart to heart talk with Camila about Odalia, but only the mention of Odalia its fine for me.
Gus knows everything: like, he probably KNOWS EVERYTHING, but he doesn't seem to show signs of it in the sneek peak, so maybe he its keeping it all for himself
Another Hunter's meltdown: listen to me, Hunter's meltdown in EL it's one of my favorite scenes in the show, I want another one but hey! This meltdown can have a happy ending now :D
Problems involving Luz's classmates: they keep bulling Luz, they start bulling the kids (knowing they are friends of Luz or don't), someone flirt with Amity, idk and idc I want school drama and I want Luz defending herself and her friends
Willow get a chance of wreck belos: she doesn't have to do it, i just want a scene of her going for him just like she did with Kikimora in COTH, even if she fails
Huntlow argument: Willow and Hunter didn't had a talk in screen since ASIAS, so i thought "hey, it wouldn't be funny if the first talk... After a long time... Its an argument?" Hunter it's also keeping secrets from her and maybe with Amity's influence she could get insecure about it, so she is gonna try to talk and he is gonna freak out and you know the rest
Thats all, byeeee!
Prompt! Desmond mistakenly time travels to Ratonhnhaké:ton's time, and Juno, who realizes what he did, tries to turn Ratonhnhaké:ton against him. I believe I heard somewhere that Juno told Ratonhnhaké:ton to hide the key to the Temple? Well what if she told him of Desmond, maybe showed him a 'projection' of Desmond killing Lucy, and says Desmond will try to befriend him only to turn on him to get the apple of that time? (Ignorant of AC3 so I don't know the timeline of events.)
Juno only talks to Ratonhnhaké:ton twice though since Juno can only talk to Ratonhnhaké:ton using the crystal ball thingie that the clan mother had. One is when he was a teenager and told to leave the village to seek out the Assassins. The next time they talked is when the villagers had left without telling Ratonhnhaké:ton and Ratonhnhaké:ton called Juno out for her lies.
And since you want Juno to talk to Ratonhnhaké:ton about Desmond during the time she tells him to hide the key, we’ll set it at their second talk, during the ending parts of AC3.
So, in this setup, this would be a Ratonhnhaké:ton that’s still reeling from having to kill Haytham, bury Achilles, and find out his village had gone and left him alone even though everything he had done had been to protect them.
Also, by setting this up during that time, we can push the timeline of George Washington showing Ratonhnhaké:ton the Apple and make it so that Juno would show him a vision of the Apple in Washington’s hands, telling him, “He plans to take the Apple from this man…” (which is true, Desmond knows an Apple would be a big help right now) “… to use for his own selfish desires…” (which is also sorta true if you consider trying to change the past a selfish desire since Desmond isn’t thinking of what kind of butterfly effect it would have in the end) “… and none shall be able to defeat him…” (and here Juno will show him Desmond willingly using the Apple to kill Vidic who, as far as Ratonhnhaké:ton knows, is an unarmed old man telling Desmond to stop then flash forward it to Desmond using the Apple to order all Abstergo goons to take their own lives). Without knowing that Abstergo are Templars in disguise (and that Desmond was saving his father and trying not to die or get captured), Juno is able to paint Desmond as a ‘bad man’ that Ratonhnhaké:ton must be wary of.
Hell, Juno goes “You must kill him.” because Desmond only needs to live in the 21st century, this Desmond is an obstacle and a wildcard that Juno can't even use.
“If you do… I will show you where your village has gone.”
And Ratonhnhaké:ton knows he’s being used but, still…
Desmond looked dangerous and if the Apple in Washington’s hands is truly powerful then no one should hold it.
In this situation, both Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond go to Washington first just as Washington received the Apple from an unknown person.
Washington is surprised by their appearance (Ratonhnhaké:ton because they didn’t necessarily end in good terms and Desmond because he’s a complete stranger who just barged in without anyone notifying Washington at all) so… the Apple sorta activated while the three of them are in the vicinity.
And thus we have a story idea of Desmond accidentally getting transported into Tyranny of King Washington DLC.
Unorganized Notes:
To make things interesting, Desmond didn’t relive Ratonhnhaké:ton’s memories of the DLC. He went to Washington because he felt the Apple and thought “yeah, Washington shouldn’t have an Apple. Also… I need an Apple and this is closer than the vault in Rome.”
So when he gets transported into the DLC ‘timeline’, Desmond’s just “yeah, definitely the Apple’s illusion powers. But… why is everything so… real? Oh shit. Did I get transported in a different timeline???”
Ratonhnhaké:ton’s part of the story remains the same but Desmond intervenes enough times that his mother doesn’t die. She does, however, go into a coma so we have an excuse for Ratonhnhaké:ton to feel pressured to drink from the Red Willow tree.
Ratonhnhaké:ton sees Desmond has a hidden blade and they fight a few times (with Desmond trying to insist that he doesn’t want to fight Ratonhnhaké:ton and staying more on the defensive). He also notices that Desmond’s fighting style is too close to his own but there are moments where he feels like he is fighting a different person.
Desmond sees Ratonhnhaké:ton summon ghost wolves and he’s like “Okay, we’re doing this now? Fine.” with a tone of a tired man who had seen so much shit in a short amount of time that he’s just rolling with the punches.
Desmond and Ratonhnhaké:ton team up to defeat King Washington and Ratonhnhaké:ton does start to think there is more to it than Desmond being an evil man. Also he was already sus of Juno anyway,
So when they return to the real world, Washington gives the Apple to Ratonhnhaké:ton and Desmond doesn’t do anything. He just… leaves.
Later on, Desmond is surprised when Ratonhnhaké:ton appears before him.
While he’s about to board a ship set for France (it was the ship that would dock closest to Italy).
And Ratonhnhaké:ton admits that he still has the Apple and…
He’d like it if Desmond stayed for a while.
Desmond stares at him before smiling as he says, “I’d like that.”
(You know, for someone who hated the final boss of this DLC, I mention this DLC a lot…)
