Huntlow continues to be a thing (Idk if they're gonna kiss on the mouth (maybe not) but they're probably gonna have 1 more cute moment)

The Collector gets a happy ending (I still don't like the kid but I do believe he's gonna get a happy ending)

The ending is nothing like Amphibia or STVFOE because, what a shocker, DESPITE ALL THE SIMILARITIES THIS IS STILL IT'S OWN THING

So I was watching the new owl house episode and one line that really stuck with me was when Amity said to her mother “I am never speaking to you again!” And that kinda got me thinking about Amity’s new hairstyle and new hair colour. Which then made me think that maybe Amity’s hair is symbolic in one way or another, and is also a type of foreshadowing. So I did a little equation, and this is what I discovered:

Coincidence? I think not.

Update: I’m seeing some people say that Amity’s hair colour could also be foreshadowing Darius and Alador getting together as well, because Alador mentions to Amity that her hair is “abomination coloured” and it just so happens that Darius has abomination goo hair. I for one, LOVE this idea and I’m hoping we’re correct about Amity’s hair foreshadowing Darius and Alador getting together.

Update 2: Ah, yes. The third, and final part of the gay equation.

I just can't wait anymore! I have too many theories than I can't fit on this sheet! I think this episode will mostly be about revealing the past, and I'm really hoping for Huntlow to become Canon. I will also keep guessing the egg hatching until it happens!

Luz starts to cry as she continues, "Now it feels like all I want is to get back to the Boiling Isles. I need to make sure they're okay. Eda. King. Everyone. The thing is, Eda and King, and then Willow and Gus, and everyone else, they were the first people to really 'get' me... I can't lose them... but I can't lose my mom either..." At this point her eyes are closed and she does not notice the egg begin to wiggle and crack. She says, "Really what I want is just to keep my loved ones safe and feel like there's a place where I belong. The egg cracks loudly and Luz's eyes open wide as she says "HUH!?" The egg wiggles some more, then pops out it's left foot with an interlock on it. Then it's right foot and both stubby arms pop out. The the top cracks open revealing a pointed head. The head unfolds to reveal her palisman is Togepi, a pokémon with an egg body and star shaped head. It happily says "Toh-gi! Toh-gi!" Luz gasps and stars and hearts fill her eyes. She says "Oh my gosh I love you so much!"

Here are my (spoiler free) predictions of the season finale. Let's hope we won't cry too hard.

Will This TOH Character Die?

Luz: I don’t think so but fate other than death might be waiting for her

Amity: I don’t think so because she hasn’t spark any death flag

Willow: I think she’ll be vibing till the end of the series. Wish her nothing but the best

Gus: I think he’s safe. I’ll throw hands if anything happened to this baby

Hunter: as a crew punching bag, maybe I would be worried about his fate if… he wasn’t already death. I don’t think a disney kid would die twice, especially knowing everything that has happened to him

King: please don’t let this 8 years old endures another bad luck. I don’t think disney would let Dana killed a literal kid

Vee: sweet baby angel is safe

Camila: would be a 3 out of 5. Amazing mom but she’s also the last thing that connected Luz to the human realm (aside from Vee)

Eda: I AM WORRIED ABOUT HER. She had shown a lot of death flag lately. I believe she’ll sacrifice herself but I just don’t know the outcome. Out of the protagonists, I’m worried about her the most

Lilith: if we have a full season 3, I would be worried about her fate but I don’t think the next episode is going to be revolved around her arc sooo hopefully she’ll made it

Hooty: nope but I swear I won’t stop crying for a year if anything happened to him

Raine: ha… ha… they’re in danger now. 4 out of 10 death rate which is higher than Camila. I don’t think it’ll passed 50:50 chance because Eda won’t let anything happened to Raine

The Collector: I don’t want this baby to die. I believe The Collector could be redeemed as a character especially since they’re a literal child. Maybe he’ll lose his power tho (probably partially)

Luz's meltdown: when i thought about it i pictured Luz being mad for a lot of things (the BI, Belos, Amity wanting to know Phillip's thing, her classmates) and then she goes to her room, watch the palisman egg and get even mader because it isn't broken yet, and then it happens, she can't with it anymore.

Big fight scene: we obviously are gonna get it BUT I really want Hunter, Willow and Amity being the protagonist of it.

Lumity argument: Luz its keeping secrets again, and thats not good.

Amity talks about Odalia: i want her having a heart to heart talk with Camila about Odalia, but only the mention of Odalia its fine for me.

Gus knows everything: like, he probably KNOWS EVERYTHING, but he doesn't seem to show signs of it in the sneek peak, so maybe he its keeping it all for himself

Another Hunter's meltdown: listen to me, Hunter's meltdown in EL it's one of my favorite scenes in the show, I want another one but hey! This meltdown can have a happy ending now :D

Problems involving Luz's classmates: they keep bulling Luz, they start bulling the kids (knowing they are friends of Luz or don't), someone flirt with Amity, idk and idc I want school drama and I want Luz defending herself and her friends

Willow get a chance of wreck belos: she doesn't have to do it, i just want a scene of her going for him just like she did with Kikimora in COTH, even if she fails

Huntlow argument: Willow and Hunter didn't had a talk in screen since ASIAS, so i thought "hey, it wouldn't be funny if the first talk... After a long time... Its an argument?" Hunter it's also keeping secrets from her and maybe with Amity's influence she could get insecure about it, so she is gonna try to talk and he is gonna freak out and you know the rest

Watching and Dreaming promo theory - spoilers from the promo ahead!

I’ve seen a couple people talking about this part of the promo, specifically the outfit changes, so I wanted to offer my ideas on why each outfit was picked.

I’m operating under the assumption that this part is Luz being somehow trapped in her worst nightmares, so everything we see is created by her subconscious. So why not keep her friends in their most recent clothes? Why put them in these outfits? The common theme I’ve discovered is they’re associated with acts of vulnerability her friends have shown to her throughout the series.

Note: I’m saving Gus’s for last because it’s an outlier.

First off we have Amity. She’s worn this outfit multiple times throughout the second season, but most notably during the scene where she and Luz became a couple and the scene where they had their first kiss. In those two scenes, Amity put herself out there and shared her feelings, even though rejection was her worst fear (which we saw in Grom).

Next up is Willow. She’s just wearing her school uniform, so I had to do a bit of thinking as to why it’s significant. Then I remembered she was wearing that uniform during the entirety of Understanding Willow. If any episode displays vulnerability, it’s that one. Luz literally went inside Willow’s mind to look at the memories she was trying to hide.

Promo-Hunter is wearing the same thing he wore in Hunting Palismen. There’s a scene in that episode that I think is a crucial point in his character development. For a moment, he lowers his staff (and his guard) to tell Luz his real name. For someone so cautious and mistrusting, that was a pretty big deal. Luz knew that at the time as well, which is why I think Hunter is wearing that outfit again in her nightmare scenario.

As I mentioned earlier, Gus is a bit of an outlier. He’s wearing the same suit he wore at Grom, but as far as I can remember, he didn’t even interact with Luz while wearing that outfit. It’s possible he wore it in another episode that I’m forgetting, but as of right now it’s a mystery.

All this begs the question: why is the vulnerability of Luz’s friends what her subconscious is fixating on? Once again, if this is in fact a nightmare she’s trapped in, this image would be tied to a fear of hers. Over and over again during the third season, she’s mentioned how she feels like everything bad that has happened to her friends is her fault. Now when you refer back to the image from the promo, you can see it with a bit more clarity. All her closest friends, at a moment where they were most vulnerable, are being pulled up into the sky. Just like she’s feared, she’s failing to protect them when they need it most.

Of course, all this is speculation. The entire base of my argument- that the image takes place in a nightmare scenario within Luz’s mind- is just a theory in itself. I’ll have to wait for the episode to come out to find out if any of this is true. But until then, I hope this was an entertaining read!

WAIT What if the collecter is not possessing Luz, he/they are GANGING up against Belos with Luz. Cuz you know, it's Luz, who throughout the series keep befriending friends and foes. Lilith, Amity, Hunter, etc

She might still hold grudge against Collector cuz his cults tried to kill King and Hollow Mind flashback but King's connection to the Collector certainly might provide her a different perspective??

Plus, the Collector's certainly having his/their (idk the pronoun, lemme know if I'm right) doubt on Belos from Clouds on Horizon. That's gotta be for something, right??

Palismen souls slow the aging process

Palismen can live massively long lives because they are made of wood, at least 400 years if you take Flapjack into consideration.

Belos partially ate their souls to power his arms glyphs, but also be immortal (he even says as he eats one in the past "I just need to live long enough to see this through")

I theroize that since Flapjack gave Hunter his soul energy, Hunter will age more slowly. However because Flapjack was dying when he gave Hunter the sould energy, Hunter's slow aging will be like "wow you're 53? You don't look a day over 30!"

Ok, it was hard to pick but I think these two are my favorites.

They really make you wonder about the title "Thanks to Them". Are they referring to the Wittebanes or Luz and Hunter, or both? Will their secrets tear the group apart? It's just interesting seeing the group going two different ways...

The black and white one really gives us the feeling of guilt and fear that these two are going through. They share something no one else in the group does, and while they try to deal with it, it's clear that they need more than each other to over come it. I sure hope they will and that this won't be dragged on for too long, considering the time season 3 has...

This is my last Owl House post before I watch the first episode of season 3! After that and when I recover from it, I will try to write new meta's! Have fun watching!

Toh prediction:

In season 3, when Belos returns (in whatever form that little blob takes), I think he'll end up petrified.

It would a pretty good "what goes around comes around" moment considering how Belos attempted to petrify both Eda and Luz (and successfully did so to many others). We know Luz knows the glyph combo to use for petrification.

Plus it would make the fact that there is a statue of him in Gravesfield foreshadowing.

Everyone's talking about how heartwarming Luz and Eda's reunion will be, but have we forgotten about their fight in 'O Titan, Where Art Thou', and how desperate she was to keep Luz away from danger? And now she's finding out that Luz did get back to the safety of her home, only to return?

Yes, things did turn around by the end, but that's only because the situation on the Boiling Isles improved thanks to the rebellion. Now though, things are worse than they've ever been.

The last episode was about Luz thinking that the Boiling Isles would be better off without her, now this one is gonna be about Eda thinking Luz is better off without the Boiling Isles. We've been building up to this for a long time.

My prediction for Owl House season 3. Each episode is going to focus on one of the main trio characters.

Special 1: the Luz special. We get to see the kids experience the human realm. Lumity date. They work to make a portal back. We get some Luz struggling with leaving Eda and King behind. We get some talk with Camilla about staying and going. Somehow they get a portal working and Belos makes himself known as he fights for control of the portal. Maybe to connect to the rest of his goop? I suspect they all get through; kids and Belos. Alternatively, Belos is used as an ingredient to make the portal work, but this has consequences. Luz's palisman hatches and Gus's magnifier comes in handy.

Special 2: the Eda special. We are dropped in at the moment the draining spell ends. Most of the BI is alive but without magic. The coven heads, however, are barely alive, having been the main ingredients in the spell. At this point those with magic are just the Hexside kids. Eda isn't drained but she's still cursed. I suspect Lilith is in the same boat. Eda also has permanently lost an arm. She likely will have some sort of prosthetic by the end. Eda, Lilith and Hooty work to get Raine, Darius and Eberwolf off the tower as the world crumbles. The special has those six seek out the Hexside kids, terrified that Luz, King, Hunter and the other kids are dead. The Collector begins collecting people to play Owl House and the six barely escape. The Collector creates a giant owl fortress for their game. The adults and Hooty meet up with Hexside kids and they form a plan. Somehow. It's possible they work to make a portal on their sideand it's actually how the human side portal really works. They may go and find King's blood sample from 2x8. Regardless, the two teams get united but also Belos is likely back as well. We may get Hexside Against The Throne. The HATTS. At some point in this special we get Eda and Raine back together and, hopefully, a kiss. The twins are important at some point here.

Special 3: the King special. We rewind back to Luz being shoved in the portal. We then see the new Owl House being formed from the inside. Most of BI is right there for capture because of the abomitons. King now has to keep The Collector from killing people. At first this is just trickery but I suspect they will become friends. They talk about King's dad. King decides, like he did with Steve, he doesn't want to subjugate but to care, which is why he can befriend The Collector. King works to teach empathy to the Collector, that they can be mad at what Belos did but also appreciate real friendship. We see some failed attempts by the other Coven leaders and it tests their new ideas of empathy. I'm uncertain how the HATTS come into play or how it all ends. There will be some sort of permanent portal, however. We may get an epilog with a Lumity wedding.
