💗i went to uni to watch one of my friends present something to the juniors! then I spent the afternoon chatting with my guide and later on went window shopping with my best friends (in retrospect i should not have done this because my ankle got infinitely worse the next day and now I'm stuck resting at home for an additional two weeks) 🎮playing undertale with @muakrrr 📺 ongoing: Marry my Husband, Cherry Magic Th, Perfect Propose, Doctor Slump, Flex X Cop 📺 binged: Blueming, Roommates of Poongduck 304 📹 Started watching Going Seventeen // so I've been listening to SVT for a while now and I did watch their Don't Lie II eps like two years ago but I never really checked anything else... however, considering that I'm stuck at home and that @zzzzzestforlife (who has impeccable taste) has mentioned it often on their posts, I decided to check out GoSe properly and. wow. I started with their mystery episodes [fav scenes under cut] and now I'm watching GoSe2020 in chronological order and !!!!!! The concepts, the storylines, the acting, the humour, the editing, even the subtitles are all so so good. I've been watching this show for two weeks now and I am now officially a cubic <3

Wk1: The Best of ATEEZ // I've been real obsessed since their 2024 world tour clips started showing up on social media; I was a casual enjoyer up to this point and then I went and checked them out and it's all so dystopian and immersive. My favourites would be Intro: Long Journey (which makes me feel like I'm in Pirates of the Caribbean), the Symphony version of Wonderland (for its musicality and Jungho hitting those notes), MATZ (that is insane in it's the visual storytelling in the MV) and Wake Up (whose performance choreo ended me) Wk2: The Best of BTS // in an attempt to revive a project I abandoned a year ago, I spent wayy too much time curating this playlist to get the most satisfying BTS transitions ever and I can confidently say that I'm nowhere close to my goal T-T but I kind of like the way it is now so I am simply going to give up

Part Two: Alterhuman Community Intro…?

This post will continue to be edited as necessary.

So I just posted my writeblr intro and since I’m definitely more active in the alterhuman community than the writeblr community I thought it might be fun to have a nonhuman/plural intro? Might be fun and it also occurred to me/us that most of our followers really only know me since I’m the only occupant of the body itself, and don’t know anything about the rest of the system. I will probably delete this someday if I decide once again I don’t like having my ‘types public depending on if the brainmates want to keep their own bios up. It will also probably change a lot because we tend to do that.

Context. We are a non-dissociative system, we do not switch, we were dæmonic originally meaning that I am the body and communicate with them through faux-visual projection and mental speech (which is why I talk like we're a total found family when they never seem to even say anything -- trust me they do, they just don't have access to the keyboard). We/they consider them all to have separate external bodies. We are quoigenic, not traumagenic or endogenic or mixed origins, only refer to us as the former.

Swift

He/it (they/them only under certain circumstances), bisexual, binary male* but only humans are ever men. I use quoi- ahead of all labels (both queer and alterhuman) in addition. POSIC, mildly objectum/conceptum. I have special interests in: biology, the arts, and the change of technology/art/language/media over time and throughout history (example: history of computer graphics 1950s-1990s <3). Psychospiritual, philosophical and narrative alterhuman. Species-wise: I am a common raven (Corvus corax principalis), an osprey (Pandion haliaetus carolinensis), a red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamiacensis kriderii), common spotted cuscus (Spilocuscus maculatus), sea slater (Ligia exotica), mosasaur (Megapterygius wakamayensis), and lastly, Musteloidea sub-superfamily cladotherian (procyonids, ailurids, and mustelids). I’m a Novakid, a species from the game Starbound, which I consider more of a fictional kintype than a fictotype (I prefer alienkin or just otherkin over fictionkin for this ‘type). I am also a computer, specifically an IBM 7090. I also consider myself a kind of entity or manifestation of autumn¹, I’d just call it “conceptkin with extra steps.” I am questioning two kintypes right now, more “I am this but what the heck is it” situations than “here’s the thing but is it me” but I won’t list them until I can figure it out; general idea is “embolomere fish-kaiju” and “have you ever heard of the Hidebehind? no, well have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? no ok well have you ever played Lethal Company”¹ I was a ghost. Now I’m not. It was not a kintype and I did not “deconfirm” it. This affects some things. I am a flickerer with two fictotypes (Link from The Legend of Zelda, every canon game, and the Knight from Hollow Knight). I have three heartedtypes (domestic cats, cephalopods, and ghost type Pokemon) and two hearthomes (the ocean and O’Neill cylinders). I consider dragons, wolves and foxes to be paratypes. I have a profound quasi-religious connection to stars & the night sky that I consider at least marginally alterhuman in nature. I am an archetrope; wanderer, and secondarily a "shapeshifter" and "generalist" which I need better words for both of -- as they say language is like trying to nail down the ocean, and I guess it would be more accurate but less concise to describe them as "one who changes, embodies or becomes" and "one who adapts, branches out, survives or opportunizes." If I ever explain these somewhere I’ll link to it here. I’m Tetri, Swift’s dæmon. I CIE on November 11th, 2020. Pronouns are he/him. I’m comfortably settled as of February 21st, 2021, as an Asian palm civet. We believe this represents Swift’s personality well, even if it was coincidental and we didn’t consciously choose it. I’m a pretty traditional dæmon but I’m not 100% by-the-books and definitely more autonomous than most, just because of the general plurality. Foxglove

I’m Foxglove, otherwise known as Europa. She/her, if you must refer to me. I am a dragon of silver lineage. I have special interests in psychology, botany and mineralogy. I suppose I am autistic in the context of a physically human brain, but it is difficult to recontextualize that to the culture of a draconic biological worldview. I have a great appreciation for baroque and art nouveau architecture and for the aesthetic of vintage fantasy artwork. V’vohu

Swift here. V’vohu would not write its own intro. It doesn’t communicate in words exactly, save for a few syllables. Mostly emotions. V’vohu is a sheyd, a type of demon spirit in Jewish mythology, that appeared to me not long after my first three headmates originated. I thought it was a normal headmate at first, but it’s not really. I believe it is literally an extradimensional visitor or guide of sorts, and while I acknowledge this may be slightly delusional, it is a very real entity to me. Consistently, it creates epiphanies, asks me to do things that end up being important, and knows things about myself that even I didn’t know. Its motivations are difficult to ascertain. This is its playlist, less of music it listens to exactly and more music that will summon it. It’s a unique music taste because V’vohu doesn’t perceive our dimension the way we do and music doesn’t sound the same way to it that it does to us. Anser

Swift here again. Anser is a tricky one. She could and probably would write her own intro, but she’s complicated much like V’vohu and I’d rather explain it in my own words, because I’m not sure hers would be… not too vague. Anser is not fae, nor a kitsune, nor a Huli Jing or any other kind of specific fox myth, rather a fae-like fox spirit who seems to embody multiple fox and faerie mythologies. He originated as a spirit. Sort of. When he first appeared, he may well have been a literal spirit visitor, like V’vohu. But he left, possibly of his own accord, possibly something to do with V’vohu. This Anser is a different entity while being the same individual psychologically, fully formed by whatever mental process formed the other headmates excluding V’vohu, but still also fully psychologically a spirit. Literally the exact same individual in every way except not a literal outside spiritual visitor. He still fully believes in magic and is the most spiritual of all of us. It's complicated. Anyways, she usually appears as a red fox with or without various fantastical attributes, and sometimes as a statue. She/her and he/him only, not they/them. I believe she identifies as bigender or genderfluid, not sure which or if gender means the same thing to her at all that it does to earthly people. They’re kind of organized and I’m pretty proud of it actually, mostly of Steve, Bucky and Tony’s playlists. All of them are composed of 45 songs (for now) and last about 3 hours, except Stony’s, which is kind of a mess but hey, so are they !

Also, a few French songs (Rilès sings in english, check him out, France loves him) and a little shout out to Tom Holland in the first song of Peter Parker’s playlist, you’ll get what I’m talking about ;)

SWEAR WARNING!! Hi yes. DISCLAIMER: I do not like Steve Rogers after CACW. Steve’s character after that is just bland and annoying and so fucking dumb. But I do like pre-serum Steve and a little bit of Avengers and AoU Steve is tolerable. And since it’s that dumbass’s birthday here are some headcanons :)

Raging bisexual. If I still have to explain myself I don’t think you get the point of Steve in CATFA being confused over Peggy and Bucky. Also bisexual Steve is canon in the comics so kiss my ass if you think otherwise

Anyways Steve and Peter prank a lot of people at Avengers tower and their favourite target is Tony or Bruce, and sometimes Natasha joins them to prank Clint. (Yes this is a superfamily AU hc eat some salt if u don’t like it)

Pre-serum Steve adopts an ally cat and names it Scratchy because it helps Steve when they fight bullies in random ally ways

Steve’s favourite meme is the screaming goose if you don’t agree with me I don’t care. His favourite slang word is ‘bae’ because I said so

Steve’s favourite show is Brooklyn 99 because the 99 reminds them of the avengers family and he loves it

Steve’s music taste is very simple. They will listen to whatever the fuck he likes. He’s a fall out boy fan and they listen to whatever Tony plays in the lab. Bruce likes instrumental music so he makes a playlist for Steve and they listen to it while reading. Sometimes when Thor and Loki visit they sing Asgaurdian songs for Steve and if he really likes the song they will record it and listen to it later on. (Time to self-project) He likes the more soft, melodious side of K-pop so he will listen to something like Trust Me (ITZY) or Blue & Grey (BTS). Peter introduces him to Tik Tok audios and Steve has a whole playlist of them. 

This one’s a Stony one because I said so. Steve is the one who proposes and the day they get married he sobs like a fucking baby and Sam has to hold him for 2 hours and still can’t believe he’s married to Tony. After being married for like a year they decide to adopt Peter. They talk it out with aunt May and as sad as she is to loose custody over Peter she’s excited to explore the world (Tony funds her explorations).

Favourite story you’ve written so far: Oh boy… I love most of my stories! Um… Probably The Phoenix Project because I got to tie it in with Stargate, one of my absolute favourite TV franchises. And also Pieces of Echoes because it’s my first Superfamily story and will always have a special place in my heart ♥️

Fic you were nervous to post: really all of them, but mostly Practice Run, because it deals with the topic of religion, and also Mr Stark, my first foray into the MCU 😊

How do you choose your titles?: a lot of my titles come from song lyrics. Pieces of Echoes is the combination of two songs that comprised the playlist I chose for that fic. Trapped in the Shadows is a paraphrase from a line in the song What’s Left of Me, which I feel describes Steve perfectly in that story. Other titles are plays on what’s going on in the fic. The Eventide Aspect, for example, is another way to say Twilight Zone 😉, and The Man Out of Time both describes Steve and the overall arc of the fic.

Do you outline?: not in the traditional sense. Most of the time I write a few notes on how I want the plot to go and have scenes plotted out that I call “anchor scenes”. Then I just fill in the blanks. My fics often expand way past my original ideas while I’m writing them, so outlining for me would just be a waste of time.

And I’m nervously excited about my Everlark fic, as I’ve not written them in three years now and fear I am rusty.

for the character thing, mae kent!

anon, please know that i love you for asking me this. i am at all times wanting to talk about my favourite D-list characters, especially mae. i think every comic fan needs to stan a character who only has, like, >50 appearances, and hasn’t been seen in a comic over a decade. it humbles you.

First impression:

i was very excited to see that there was more than one supergirl, and that she was a supergirl with such a bizarre origin. i’m a BIG fan of shapeshifters - especially those with an identity crisis and gay undertones.

Impression now:

post-crisis kara will always be my favourite supergirl, but mae’s still somewhere on my favourite characters list. she’s fun to talk about in terms of the history surrounding the supergirl mantle and post-crisis superman mythos, and i just think she’s a neat character on her own.

Favorite moment:

her decision to save linda danvers - both literally and figuratively.

Idea for a story:

i wish she’d be brought back and given more time with her as an individual. i’d like something with her reflecting on her super fucked relationship with luthor, and how she’s grown from then. and also just more superfamily in general!

Unpopular opinion:

she’s such a niche character, i don’t think many people have opinions of her!

Favorite relationship:

i love her relationship with conner, being a big sister to him, as well as being a little sister to clark. i wish they all got to interact more before she was thrown into comic limbo.

and of course i love her relationship with linda because they’re canonically soulmates. i have an emo spotify playlist for them, and also an equally emo pinterest board.

Favorite headcanon:

before fusing with linda and then regaining her own body/becoming more human, animals do not like her. they recognize something’s off about her quicker than humans do and growl or run away.
