Kane Chronicles and DC crossover where Carter and Sadie have to deal with something magic related in Gotham and end being arrested for loitering in a graveyard.

They try to call Amos but he ends up being deemed an unfit guardian of the siblings due to mental illness, Bast doesn’t have a legal identity so she can’t take them resulting in the Kane siblings ending up in foster care.

Bruce is slightly worried about why these kids were just hanging out in a grave yard and talking about demons so he decides to foster them just in case they were in a cult as the evidence seems to suggest.

All this leading to shenanigans revolving around the bats trying (and failing) to keep their identities hidden, the Kane siblings trying to run the house of life and get out of foster care while dealing with the magical threat.

Who I write for /Rules

Masterlist

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

I will add a prompt list to this blog soon but again feel free to request other scenarious. Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

I WILL NOT DO SMUT SO DONT REQUEST IT! I might however do spicy stuff (Nothing more than making out tho).

My writing will be for all ages but please still be careful if the fic-warnings include sensitive topics and i might repost some 18+ things so be careful when navigating my blog.

Please be nice and have manners when requesting.

I write both romantic and platonic for all my characters. Although Teen!readers will always be platonic if the character is an adult.

Are there any traits that Barbara has that you think fandom likes to gloss over or avoid? I do think she can be prickly amongst other things and I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

honestly fandom babs is either unobjectionable mom type person or evil harpy, so whichever character traits are glossed over depend on the type of fan.

for unobjectionable mom person she has her guardedness glossed over, her lack of emotional openness, the fact that she can get just as obsessed as any other batfam member and is just as hard on herself as bruce.

for the evil harpy, normally they take relationships she has messed up in and grown from (trying to manipulate helena into not killing, which babs DID realize she was wrong and then fucking change from) and apply it to why she's oppressing their male fave even though that dynamic literally never happened with their male fave (usually sadi fave is dick) or they take bad writing for her but not bad writing from other characters under the same author and emphasize that as a character trait (like sorry but if you take devin grayson's babs as in character, you have to take dick's flightiness and ableism he also demonstrates under that writer)

in general she has lots of flaws that male characters have especially with personal relationships, and people either gloss over her growing from these flaws and being a person, or they gloss over the flaws to get something more generic and palatable
