i deeply loathe people that make drew out to be homophobic in their fanfics
love is love. the aphrodite cabin is the biggest supporter of this statement.
also i hc nico and drew to be besties. popular mean lesbian hottie and her quiet gay emo that has mad trust issues
so um i wrote smth (taps tip of fingers together shyly)
Nico ran into the Aphrodite cabin, wildly searching around the place. All the Aphrodite kids were at their assigned activities, leaving their colorful cabin empty
"Fuck!" He swore loudly.
Nico ran further into the cabin, only to find Drew sitting on her bunk and painting her nails a bright orange. She wore a full face of makeup which highlighted her Asian features, making her look even more remarkable than she was.
"There you are." Nico sighed in relief. "Oh my god, Tanaka. You have to hear this!"
She raised her perfect dark eyebrows. "What'd he do now?"
"He kissed me!" Nico spluttered out. "He- he.. kissed... me!"
"Yeah, I get that." Drew looked back at her nails. "How about, you just sit down and take a chill pill?"
Nico obliged and sat on the bunk opposite Drew's. His leg was bouncing anxiously.
"Okay, he kissed you. So.. how did that make you feel?" Drew asked, continuing to paint her nails with that bright orange.
"Well- well obviously it was nice.. But I just- didn't know what to do!" Nico's cheeks pinked. He buried his face into his pale hands, boots firmly rooted on the wooden flooring.
"Well, did you kiss him back?" Drew sounded annoyed, frowning at her nails. "Did you show that you liked him?
"I mean.. I guess..yeah, yeah I did." Nico sounded distracted.
"Okay, then, good. Now you just need to talk to him. Establish what that makes you two. Communication is key. Something that didn't work out between my parents." She rolled her eyes at the last statement.
"Okay." Nico said, full of relief. "Okay. Communication. Got it."
"Yeah, exactly. You'd better got it. I'm not gonna let this blondie hurt you like little old What's-His-Name." Drew said.
"That one. Anyway, if blondie's ever shitty to you, you'd better tell me. 'Cause there's plenty of fish in the sea, at camp at least. Bet there's a whole line of demigods waiting to snag you for their own. 'Mkay? So don't stress, and you'll be fine. And communicate. Don't forget to communicate." Drew repeated firmly, locking eyes with him, drilling the advice into his brain.
Nico nodded quickly. "Yeah. Got it."
"That's the spirit. Now go get your blondie. Talk to him."
Nico stood up and straightened his black clothes out. Then he took off running.
"Run, loverboy!" Drew called after him as Nico sped up.
After he left, Drew began to chuckle to herself. "Young love." She sighed.
Drew's powers told her they were going to have a long and healthy relationship. Full of fluffy romance.
She stuck her tongue out in disgust. "Another sappy relationship. Bleh."
On second thought, Drew grinned to herself. "di Angelo deserves it."
In Brazil we have a expression "to much sand for your little truck" And I think that apply to nico and rick. Nico's character is too deep to rick to handle.
I mean... how can the kid that used to think about plato's filosofia make a hashtag joke like that. I just wanna see him recite goth poetry and embrace his dark academy era
just finished reading the hidden oracle, love it.
apollo's pov is fun to read, he's really on brand all the time.
however, i haven't really connected with meg. apollo couldn't stand her 95% of the time, and when she goes away suddenly he misses her.
also, (i know quite a lot of spoilers) i have this feeling that meg is isolated. she does not have another meaningful friendship outside of apollo, which makes me feel like she will not be really relevant once the trials of apollo end. idk, maybe I'm wrong.
and i'm not even that mad that she hid she is nero's stepdaughter, because i get that she has been manipulated for years and is still a child. but i wish she had said something, come clean before the final battle.
