Ever since your visit from the summer court something with both your brother and Azriel has been off. Rhys for the first time in your life has been avoiding you and suddenly you could never seem to catch Azriel at the right time. It was starting to annoy you to no end. “Well good morning to you too, sunshine.” Cassian looked over to where Nesta was stretching with the rest of the girls as if to ask her about your negative attitude. In return she just shrugged and welcomed you into the circle of stretches with everyone else. Today was all about fighting and since Cassian's counterpart was nowhere to be found it was up to you to help Cassian demonstrate the fighting techniques that had been practiced for a few weeks now. You were known to be a person who refrained from fighting and going into battle but that doesn’t mean that you weren’t capable of doing so. You were only one hundred years younger than your brother, it was safe to say that you had some experience with fighting.
The roof of the house of wind was quiet except for the occasional gust of wind along with Cassian's booming voice explaining how this match would go and the things then needed to pay attention to before each of them went toe to toe with either you or Cass.  Finally after he was done giving instructions he turned and faced you. “You know I’m not going to go easy on you right.”  scoffing your head tilts to the side “Yeah that's because your mate is over there giving you bedroom eyes and you want to impress her.” Once again his boisterous laugh filled the space of the open room giving it more warmth. Nothing more was said as you both got into fighting stances and prepared to walk away with some bruises.
The fight hadn't been going on for more than five minutes when you swore that you saw Azriel landing on the roof and watched as you and Cassian went back and forth throwing and dodging punches. Now you couldn’t say for sure because as soon as you took your eyes off your opponent to spare a glance where you thought Azriel was standing, Cassian's fist made contact with your cheek and subsequently you were laying on the matt looking into the sky completely dazed.
Cassian never meant to actually punch you. He knew exactly how you fight, he knows your tells and the next move that you would usually make but he didn’t know that you were going to turn your face at just the right moment and his powerful punch would connect with your face. Both you and Cassian knew the strength that he possessed and usually he would never fight you using that unlimited well of strength but the purpose of the match was to demonstrate how to use each part of your body to increase your strength when sparring.
Nesta was sitting on the ground right next to you with your head in her lap holding a cold hand on your sure to swell cheek and busted lip. From your point of view she was upside down. Even like this you thought she looked stunning. Gently she stroked your hair when telling you that you were going to be ok. Deep down you knew that you would in fact be ok but right now your head was ringing and your face hurt and you were pretty sure a tear was running down your face from the pain. Off to the side of you Cassain was shitting his pants. Not only had he hit the person who he views as a little sister, he hit you with his full force. He was grateful he did break any of your bones. But that wasn’t his only problem; he hit Rhysands little sister. Cassian was sure that he just signed his death certificate.
Rhysand was in his office with Azirel getting the report from his latest mission when he heard Cassian in his head. “Rhys?” The tone was a question as well as a grimace “Yes?” Rhys raised a finger to stop Azriel from continuing on. “Can you come up to the house of wind?” Sighing he looked at Azriel before rolling his eyes. “Can it wait? I'm currently in the middle of getting a report from Az.” a beat of silence passed in Rhys mind before  the quiet voice of his brother came back in “It’s y/n”
Tumblr media
Cassian could hear the beating of two sets of wings before he could see them. It didn't take a genius to know that they were flying at max speed. Cassian took a big breath and held it for a few seconds before blowing it out between thinly pressed lips. This would probably be the last time that he could breath normally for a while. Just as the two males touched down he glanced over to where his mate was still cradling your head and periodically removing her hand to look at the bruising and your split lip to see how bad it was getting.
Rhysand hadn’t even landed when his eyes locked on your body laying flat on the mat with Nesta holding your head. As soon as his feet touched the hard surface of the roof he was pouncing on Cassian with questions. “What the hell happened to her? Why is she laying on the mat with Nesta holding her face?”  Cassian said nothing as he folded his high lord to where his sister lay. He knew as soon as Rhys saw your face he would be done for. Rhysand wouldn’t need any answers to his questions, he would know exactly what happened and who did it. Azriel fell in place with Cassian behind Rhys as they made their way to where you were lying and he glanced at his brother for a second with an eyebrow raised as if to ask what happened. Cassian just grimaced and shook his head. Azriel would also know what happened as soon as Nesta removed her hand from your face.
Cassian stayed back a few steps as Rhys bent down to get a closer look at you. Azriel was on the other side. “Nesta move your hand.” She didn’t do so, “Before I do you need to know that it was an accident and–” The tone of Rhysands words that came next left no room for discussion. “I said remove your hand.” The power in the high lord's voice raged over her like the waves of an ocean before a hurricane. She hated how the power made her bend to his will. Quietly she removed her hand as both males took in your face. The bruising has officially started to begin. All of your right cheek was painted with colors of red, purple and spots of dark red where the blood vessels broke. The bruising also danced along your cheekbone and around your eye, presumably from the impact, and down towards your jaw. Right where the bruising meets your lip is where it was split open and now had dried blood crusting along the open cut and down your chin.
After taking in your appearance Rhysand stood to his full high he turned around to look at the other male. “Cassian” his voice was cool and emotionless, the voice of a high lord. “Did you do this to my sister?” As much as it sounded like a question both males knew it was not. It was more like an interrogation.
As Nesta watched from afar as her mate and her brother-in-law were preparing to have at it she prodded in her sister's mind. “Feyre you need to come to the house of wind.” She paused for a moment as she listened to Cassian try to explain himself and what happened. “Now.” she added. Her attention was pulled from the fight that was sure to happen in a few moments with the jostling of your body beneath her hand. Looking down again she sees Azriel gently pull your body into his being as careful as possible as not to cause you any more pain. Nesta was sure that you were too out of it to feel more pain, as you didn’t even respond when she called out your name and your eyes were too unfocused and dazed to notice anything happening around you, still she thought the gesture was sweet.
“Where are you taking her?” Even though she wanted to go wherever Az was taking you she knew that she needed to be here when Rhys was done with her mate. To nurse him back to health. Or bring him back from the dead, whichever happened first. “She needs to be seen by Madja.” She nods her head in agreement as glances back over to her mate. She was sure the blood bath would start at any second. “I agree.” Finally after getting you into a position in Azirels arms that he deemed safe enough he shot off into the air and towards Madja’s clinic just as her sister flew in. Frantically Feyre looks at where her mate and her brother-in-law stood a few feet away brawling. “What the hell happened?” Nesta glanced down at her younger sister before returning her gaze to the fight. “Cassian accidentally punched y/n in the face and knocked her out.” Feyre felt her jaw drop all while turning to look at her older sister who just shrugged her shoulders in nonchalance.
Tumblr media
When you woke up the first thing you noticed was the pounding headache ravaging your mind, the next thing you noticed was the excruciating pain in your face and jaw. Whatever happened to you must have been pretty bad for you to be feeling this way. Especially with fae healing. After cataloging the different types of pain and discomfort you were feeling you took in your surroundings. Plush big bed, the soothing smell of your brother's cologne, and paintings of Nyx, Feyre and your brother decorated the walls. You were in your brother's room. You must have been hurt pretty bad for you to wake up in a room that wasn’t your own. Closing your eyes again in hopes of soothing the pain inside your head you take a few deep breaths while you were at it.
Reluctantly you pushed the warm blankets off your body and made your way into the bathroom. The soft glow of faelights illuminated the bathroom and casted it into warmth. The setting sun on the horizon told you that you apparently had been out for most of the day, if not a day or two. Turning to look in the mirror you gasp at the sight in front of you. “Oh” a beat of silence “I look like shit.”  gently you press a finger into the dark purple, blue and black bruise covering most of the right side of your face. You cringe back at the pain your prodding had induced. It took you a few seconds of staring at your own reflection to remember what had caused this but eventually you remembered.
You were sparring with Cassian in hand to hand combat and while the two of you were circling each other you could have swore you saw Azriel in the corner of your eye. Going to confirm it you turned your head to the right as Cassian's arm made a big and powerful swing and made contact with your face. After that you can’t remember anything. Giving it another once over you shrugged “At least he didn’t break my face.” you muttered to yourself before making your way out of the room and down to the kitchen or living room. You knew that you would only make it to one or the other before somebody was destined to stop you.
You got as far as the living room. Rhysand sat in a chair as he watched his wife and son play on the floor. The soft padding of your feet on the marble floors pulled him from his silent brooding. You watched from the entrance of the room and your brother practically shot up from his seat and in three quick strides stood in front of you. “ You're awake!” Even though you knew he meant it as a statement it felt more like a question. “Yeah?” You watched as your brother sighed in relief before gently pulling you into his arms. One arm around your back and the other stroking your hair. He made sure the unbruised part of your face rested on his chest. Returning the hug you arm your arms around the waist of your brother wrapping each hand around your forearms and your rest your complete weight against him. For a few seconds nothing was said as he gently rocked you back in front in the same spot.
Silently he pulls back to examine your face. You watch as his eyes take in the much darker welt on your face and the slowly closing fractured lip. He releases another sigh before once again pulling you back into him. “How are you feeling?” his tone in gentle and soft, knowing just how much your head probably hurts. Rhys had also been on the receiving end of Cassian's powerful strike, more times then he would like to admit. “My head feels like it's been cracked in two and my face feels like it might of been shattered but other than that I feel just peachy.” you felt the rumbling of your brother's chest before you heard the soft laughter.  “I’m glad to see Cassian didn’t cause any brain damage.” Now it was your turn to laugh.
A peaceful quiet settled over the two of you and for a second you enjoyed it. Closing your eyes you listened to the steady heartbeat of your brother's heart, and for a second it reminded you of when you were a child. Any time you were scared or just in need of your brother's love you would seek him out and cling to him like your life depended on it. And without questioning he would simply wrap his arms around your tiny frame while you rested your head against his chest listening to the soothing sounds of his heartbeat until you fell asleep.
Those memories are some of the ones you hold closest to your heart and the current situation reminded you of when you were a child. Gently you knocked on the barely there shield of Rhys mind, he welcomes you in with open arms and there you show him all those precious memories this moment reminded you of. Some things are for certain and one of those things is sometimes you just need the love and comfort of your brother. Gently he squeezes your body closer into his own while still rocking you back and forth before placing part of his cheek and chin on top of your head. “Should we get you something to eat?” he all but whispers into the space above your head. Nodding your face against your chest the two of you pull away from each other after a few seconds. Rhysand keeps his arm wrapped around your shoulders as he leads you into the kitchen. He may not be a great cook and usually avoids the kitchen like it had the plague but for his little sister he would do anything. Even if that meant potentially burning his house down.
Tumblr media
It was a few days of living with your brother at his house before he thought you were ok enough to return back to the house of wind. That was only after Madja had even the ok that you would be good enough to survive the flight up there. You rolled your eyes behind his back as he talked with Madja. It was less than a five minute flight from his house to the top of the house of wind. If all else failed and you felt bad during the flight you would squeeze your eyes shut and pray you don’t throw up.
When you finally returned to your house you were surprised to see it empty. “Where is everyone?” you asked as your brother trailed behind you while entering the living room. “Nesta is with Feyre and Nyx shopping and Cass and Az are currently on a mission.” settling into the couch you glance over your shoulder at your very sweet but protective brother “Back to calling him Cass? That must mean you no longer feel like murdering him.” you watch as your brother makes himself comfortable on the couch across from you. “I’m still not happy with him but that doesn’t mean I hate him either.”
The room fills with silence yet again. “Why were you even sparring with him in the first place?” Furrowing your brows you look at him confused. “Uh because Azriel wasn’t there to do it? It was supposed to be the two of them but I guess something came up and no one else there has enough years of experience with the technique the Valkyries were learning so I stepped in to help.” It was now your brother's turn to furrow his eyebrows in confusion. “I didn’t give him anything to do so I don’t know why he wasn’t there.” Shrugging you look around before answering. “I mean he is a spymaster. I’m sure he has things that we don't get the privilege to know.”

I see your vampire!Bruce Wayne AU and I raise you this:
Normal human Bruce Wayne raising his horde of vampire/dhamphir children, but because Bruce is Bruce no suspects any of the Batkids are, well ... bat kids.
Even the Batkids are confused at first when they first meet Bruce. Batman shows up and they're like:
"Oh, shit it's Batman! The very scary, very territorial Vampire Lord who's completely taken over Gotham and has managed to strike fear into the heart of all the most notorious vampire leaders! And he wants to adopt me into his coven? Sounds sketchy, but aight."
Only for them to wake up the next day and realize that not only is Batman in fact NOT a vampire, but he's also the most pitiful and pathetic human they've ever laid their eyes on and there's no fucking way they can leave him now.
Humans are already super fragile and easy to kill as is. And their new guardian is risking his life every night masquerading as an all powerful Vampire Lord!!!!
It's honestly a miracle that Bruce hasn't been killed yet and there's no way they're going to let their clueless human guardian wander off by himself. Especially after they realize he keeps forgetting that humans aren't supposed to be awake for 72 hours straight and his skin is paler than the giant hoards of case file documents he tries to sift through while barely touching his own food.
This poor idiot human is so committed to pretending to be a vampire that he's actually convinced himself he has night vision and spends more time hanging out in a literal Batcave than he does in his own fucking house!
Meanwhile, Bruce is thoroughly convinced he's got a complete handle on the whole raising vampire/dhampir children thing. After all, it's not like he's had to change much about his own personal life to that of a parent taking care of a horde of supernatural children.
He already spends more time awake at night anyway and while the kids don't mind human food absolutely love Alfred's cooking, it's not difficult to get a hold of any blood when they actually need to feed on something more substantial. Considering he's the biggest contributor to Gotham's blood donation centers, it's not like anyone's gonna tell him no.
Bruce also read somewhere that while vampires in the modern age don't actually need to hunt humans to feed anymore (considering the above mentioned donation centers), their hunting instincts haven't gone away, either. So while he was initially against the idea of letting his kids getting involved in his vigilante lifestyle, it was probably a good thing in the end that they had an alternative outlet for their growing vampiric urges. Like Alfred, he would have preferred it if they had gotten into competitive sports or something similar instead, but all his children had proven themselves to be just as stubborn as he is so he made do with what he could.
Especially considering the fact that a parenting article he read mentioned how extremely sensitive young vampires/dhampirs are towards the well-being of those who make up their coven. Dick, ALONE, had proved how absolutely futile his attempts to separate his night time and day time activities truly were. Apparently, it was detrimental to young vampires to be separated from their parents/guardians for too long. Better he trained them and supervised them himself versus having to re-experience Dick, Tim and Cass stalking him like the supernatural predators they were while doing his nightly patrols.
And if any of his children leaned a bit more into their feral nature whenever Bruce happened to get hurt on patrol, that was just kids' instincts reacting to the head of their coven being threatened. It's taken years of training, grounding and long late night discussions to convince his children to try holding back their supernatural strength and bloody acts of retribution. He still finds himself lecturing them from time to time even if he's fully aware they're all humoring him.
He still has the small collection of baby fangs that Dick had somehow roped all his younger siblings into contributing to over the years. For the life of him, he can't begin to fathom why anyone would want to collect teeth or why his children are so adamant that he holds onto theirs. But ever since he jokingly mentioned the Tooth Fairy to a horrified and offended younger Dick when his first set of baby fangs finally started coming in, it seems his children are determined to make sure no one can even attempt to think about exchanging their fangs for mere quarters.
And for the record (and despite what his children and friends keep on insisting), he never set out to actually pretend to be a "Vampire Lord." He just honestly thought designing his costume around one of his deepest fears would be a good way for him to use that fear against the criminals of Gotham.
He also won't admit that he completely forgot about the obvious association people make between bats and vampires.

Narratively speaking, when should the batkids be able to beat Batman single-handedly? Sure, Cass can do it already and Dick is seen as above or on Batman's level but what are your thoughts on this? It's always hard to do this stupid power level stuff because the character you want to win is obviously gonna win, but you still have to show that Batman is this super ubermensch martial artist who always has a plan and whose goal is to make his kids surpass him but then how do you do that? When can you say, "yeah Batman's cool and all but [enter batkid's name] would totally wipe the floor with the old man if they were to fight 1v1"? This is extremely exaggerated but you get what I mean, right?
I'm genuinely fascinated by this question and I thought I could just ask you.
Thanks!😀
Yeah, it’s all biased like you pointed out since we all want our special blorbo to be the most special blorbo, even in situations where the logic gets pretty thin.
The thing with Bruce is, in his prime, he’s a god-tier fighter for multiple reasons. He’s got insane training under his belt, he’s at or above peak physical human conditioning, he’s trained to think strategically about combat, he’s fast for his size (despite his size), and he’s BIG.
The last one is so important. He’s anywhere from 6’ to 6’4, 190 to 240 lbs of muscle, etc. He’s not losing to most people in a fair fight! And he’s definitely not losing to someone much shorter and lighter than him when it comes to sheer power.
What’s interesting about the comics is that they largely argue that Bruce losing these 1v1s comes down to skill and experience. Cass trained for years to be a weapon, and her advanced training is what supposedly tips the scales in her favor. Same thing with Damian. Bruce makes the argument that enough training can create conditions for his Robins to surpass him, like you mentioned.
But is that actually a fair determinator of a fight? Can most if not all advantages Bruce might have in a fight with a woman half his size be overcome by volume or rigor of training?
It’s the comics, so the answer changes depending on what’s intriguing and fun. We can oscillate between Bruce being the ultimate overpowered fighter who can’t ever lose and Bruce getting his ass handed to him by his kids because it all comes down to power ranking, which is SO subjective.
Should the Batkids be able to beat him? In my opinion, not when he’s in his prime and it’s a fair fight. That isn’t me saying that they can’t win 1v1 through skill, misdirection, getting lucky, etc.
That’s not me trying to shit on female fighters either. Dick carrying 30-40 lbs less muscle than Bruce puts him at a disadvantage too. Jason being the same weight but not as fast/nimble puts him at a disadvantage to Bruce. Damian being a child fighting an adult will ALWAYS result in an unbalanced fight.
If you’ve ever squared up with a heavier, larger, more skilled opponent — especially if you’re a woman and they’re a man — one of the first things you have to learn is that, when it comes to pure strength, you cannot hope to win. It is an inherent advantage, and why we have weight classes for fighting.
Your goal is to figure out a way to get around that advantage. To be smarter, or faster. We teach women about throws and the benefits of having a lower center of gravity. We teach kids the benefits of being flexible or smaller in certain holds. Things like that.
But comics aren’t real life. The better question is, have we overpowered Bruce in a way that makes taking him down a peg or two somewhat difficult or implausible? How can we better show his flaws and complexity as a character when the stakes get set too high?

Heeeeeyyy,
I don't want to be pressuring, but how will they even find y/n. Like, they're so many people in Gotham, and they know nothing about them except from thire own name. And if they were found, would they put up a fight? 🤔 she could beat tim in a one on one, with her being a black belt and all... so how will the capture be like?
From
👾anon
You're good! No worries.
As for your questions, I will say that how the Batfam ends up finding the reader is revealed in the 3rd part. Though I will drop a small spoiler and say that they don't get kidnapped... not right away, anyway ;] (or at least not in the part I'm currently writing, as of right now.)
It is still angsty, and honestly I'd say pretty heart wrenching since, y'know, it doesn't go well at all. Which I'm sure pretty much everyone expected-
Though, I will say that if anything where to happen, the reader would definitely put up a fight! Granted, they don't want to fight the Batfam- not because they can't fight at all (and as you've mentioned, they do have a black belt (as mentioned in "Not Here"), and they do have some experience in boxing as mentioned in "Not Tonight" (though I can't recall at the moment if it's also mentioned in "Not here"), among other things that could help them out in a fight), but because to them, I can imagine it's more of a last resort kind of thing. If they have to, they will, and considering the Batfam? They definitely will.
For one-on-one fights? Yeah, the reader probably could beat Tim, and maybe get scarily close to beating Steph (or just flat out beating her too). For Dick and Jason, I think they'd honestly need a little more polish and refinement on their skills and fighting style to actually beat them, but they could get a little close. As for Damian and Cass? Ehh, they'll definitely need more training and experience for that. Both are trained to be weapons before anything else, and working with Batman isn't exactly going to make that suddenly go away. If anything- it'll probably put the skills you learned from that experience to the test (fighting/combat wise, anyway).
I don't think I have to even mention Bruce, but if that were to happen the reader would like to think they at least got halfway there to beating him, and they'd probably be half right.
Though, this is all just on strength, agility, skill, reaction time and such alone. Everyone in the Batfam easily has quicker reflexes compared to the reader, and more experience when it comes to combat (not that the reader doesn't have their own fair share of experience, but y'know), but the reader would definitely try to use their head more than just fight the family head on (which is just... asking for failure and disaster).
Even if it isn't going to be easy to out smart the World's Greatest Detective, or someone with a mind like Tim- not to mention Oracle being on their side. Or really just, anyone trained under the Batman, at all. It isn't impossible.
So, in a situation where the reader has to fight someone from the Batfam, they'll try to utilize both their brain and brawn. So, if they can't beat whoever they're fighting, at the very least they can get away from the fight and escape. Which they definitely have better odds at succeeding in since they took track and field as mentioned in "Not Here." The reader might try to take down whoever they're up against depending on who it is, but I will say that they'll mostly choose to have a smooth getaway more often than not.
Again, like you said, Gotham is a big place- they could probably get away for a little while, if nothing else. :]
Besides, the reader could also unintentionally suprise the Batfam with some of their skills and techniques when it comes to combat, but I don't think it'll be enough to throw any of them off enough to beat them- but that also depends what caused the Batfam's surprise and how big their reaction was to it. So, now that I'm really thinking about it, it's possible to catch them off guard and defeat them that way. Unlikely- but possible. (Also because it depends on how certain members of the Batfam view the reader and their own fighting capabilities. Since that can really determine how shocked or surpised they'll get at certain things. Which I'll say right now- despite the awards in your room, some definitely don't think you can defend yourself, or could hold up well in a 'real' fight. Dick is one of them.)
Nevertheless, how would a kidnapping play out?
Honestly, it really depends on multiple things.
1. Why they resorted to kidnapping above everything else. (Which can vary from you being in danger (from their perspective), or just them just getting impatient.)
2. Who is doing the kidnapping. (Which can be multiple people.)
3. How whoever is kidnapping you, plans to do it.
4. How urgently they want to kidnap you (which can affect #3).
5. Do they have a plan, or are they doing it impulsively?
6. How likely are they to mess up, and if they do, how quickly can they recover.
These can all change and differ, with the reader's reaction and action changing accordingly, but again, it depends. In some situations the reader may be put into a position where they can't fight back. Or maybe they realizing what's going on much too late. Maybe they even fight back and manage to get away, or they fight back but their attempts are fruitless in the end. If the Batfam fucks up, even a little bit or unintentionally, the reader could take advantage of that- but that's if whoever is trying to kidnap them can or can't recover fast enough.
Sure, the chances of anyone in the Batfam messing up are low, and go even lower depending on who you're talking about. However, those chances are never zero, and again- the Batfam doesn't really know much about the reader at all. With some knowing more than others, sure, but you also have to take into account that some of these people are going to be selfish as yanderes, and don't want to share certain pieces of information about the reader with one another because maybe they want to be the only one to know about whatever they're keeping to themself.
Hence, making it more likely for mistakes to happen, but the Batfam is also really good at what they do- which is also why how quickly they can recover from said (most likely unintentional) mistake or slip up is kind of important. Seeing as it can make or break the reader's chances of escaping successfully.
Not to mention that certain pairs work better than others, but depending on what leads up to the kidnapping- some unlikely teamups could be made. They could either get in the way of each other, or work scarily well. Though solo attempts are also possible- let's be honest, with how most of the yanderes feel about the reader at this point in the series, that's not going to happen. They all want to see and meet the reader as quickly as possible, to a point where they're almost borderline not allowed to see you without being in pairs or something. Not because they want to stick together necessarily (most do want to just, be with the reader alone, after all), but because of their own selfishness, greed, and sometimes jealousy. (Though there are some exceptions, like part 3.)
Basically: who knows? It can go one of many ways, and depending on which way it goes, the reader could possibly escape or just be left helpless at the hands of the Batfam. As for THE kidnapping? I'm not gonna spill, we'll see how things go :]
Tldr:
1. How the Batfam finds the reader is explained in Part 3 and I'm not spoiling.
2. Yeah, the reader will fight if they have to- and stand a better chance against some of them compared to others. Though for the most part would use their brain and, if they can't defeat someone, they'll make a quick getaway instead, and have higher chances of succeeding in that. Though it is possible for them to catch whoever they're fighting off guard, and defeat them that way.
3. How the reader reacts and acts to a kidnapping highly depends on the kidnapping itself, and who is trying to do it. The reader may or may not be able to fight back depending on the situation, and there is more room for mistakes because the Batfam doesn't know much about the reader — and if someone does know more they'll probably keep it to themself out of selfishness. The chance for a slip up is small, but could be enough for the reader to get away.
- As for the actual kidnapping that may or may not happen in the series, and how that'll go with everything? I'm not spilling, sorry!
Hope this answered your question! If it didn't, I apologize and I can clarify anything specifically that may have confused you or anyone else in another ask.
If anyone else has a question, or you yourself have another question, feel free to send in an ask! I'm trying to answer these as much as I can while writing the 3rd part, if you couldn't tell!

being the youngest dimitrescu
just a few lil headcanons to get me back into things after being sick
if you can’t tell when reading this.. i’ve been hyperfixating so i got carried away
• being absolutely coddled
alcina is very overprotective with all of her daughters but it just seems to be next level with you, especially when she finds you shivering in the library (there has to be a fire constantly running in there now)
• pretty much everyone but mother miranda thinks you’re adorable - karl would never admit that fact to anyone though
• having a love hate relationship with dani in the beginning
daniela didn’t like the prospect of no longer being the youngest child, but once she met you she learnt that you were the only one that would play with her whenever she wanted to
• the maids somewhat tolerating you
you aren’t like cassandra or dani when it comes to the maids - you don’t see them as toys to torture and gut when you’re bored
if you were to ask a maid to describe you they’d probably say you’re curious because they’ll often find you in random tunnels/rooms - when you find a new area they have to tell head-maid so that’ll the area is kept warm enough
the many many questions you ask them do tend to get on their nerves but, still, the maids would rather be on duty to you than to your sisters
• your aunt is probably your biggest admirer
donna absolutely adores you!!
you visit her often when the weather is on the warmer side - the both of you tend to the garden (you end up always bringing home a bouquet for your mother which she treasures more than she would an ordinary bouquet)
it probably helps that you and angie get on like a house on fire… or a kitchen on fire because that has definitely happened when the two of you are left alone
• in the eyes of mother miranda you’re just another failed experiment that she can dump with alcina
but of course alcina loves you as if you were her biological daughter, just like bela, cass and dani
• chasing men around the castle for fun
when alci wants just a few moments of peace and quiet - away from your constant presence at her side - she lets a man thing run around for you to chase
of course the man is never of full strength, they’re always somewhat crippled - because your mother doesn’t want to cause any of her daughters harm with that kind of threat
• karl would often create vessels to keep you occupied
if everything he created tried to hurt you though he would immediately destroy it
• sitting with moreau at the lake
not many people visit him, so you like to take it upon yourself to help him feel less lonely
• taunting the scarecrows that are dotted around the village
seeing as miranda often turn men into scarecrows there were many that littered the place. you don’t care much for the men so it’s always a bit of fun to taunt them and you skip past

How long was Mikey trapped in the EPF facility? And how fast acting were the mutations? It kinda sounds like the scientists put him through several rounds of injections over a period of time.
Are there multiple facilities? Did Mikey get moved to a different location or stay in the one he was captured at?
Mikey’s bros had to be losing their minds looking for him, or planning a foolproof strategy to break in and rescue him from the place they knew he disappeared.
Love the double mutated Mikey updates but GIRL! SLEEP!
So Mikey was trapped in the EPF building for one week, if I remember right. Maybe less... The mutations began the very night as he was captured. They were near instantaneous changes in his body, but they were spaced out. So one day he would get injections for a specific species, the next day he got a different species, etc. But the mutation operations mostly ended on day four or five.
In addition to the species mutations, they also added their own formulas and mixtures to try and enhance certain aspects of the species, such as a reptile's brumation and infrared vision, super hearing, how he can weaponize his tails and create exoskeleton armor or quills with his scales, the ability to make his bones be triple-jointed and flexible as a snake or rigid and immovable as iron, etc. I'm pretty sure that they reverse-engineered Draxum's ooze from a mosquito sample and used that on him as well as Krang DNA. Mikey has a lot of abilities now, some are obvious, others have yet to reveal themselves... I'm really excited to share one in particular.
There are probably a bunch of EPF hidden bases, but Mikey stayed at one lab, the one he broke into. He was in one of three rooms for the entire time he was there -- either the open labs where he was in a cage, the operating room where he was mutated, or what I'm calling "the Interaction room", which was an empty room with some strange devices and security cameras where the doctors could watch him "interact" with some of the vicious mutations they created. The purpose of the room was to see if any of the experiments could be trained or controlled, and see their new abilities in action. The machines in the room were weapons and mechanical training simulators, they would fire at Mikey and shoot darts and pellets and stuff at him to see his agility and strength and problem-solving skills. Sometimes drones or robotic arms would be placed in the room as well. (This is why Mikey often inspects the machines in the lair to see if they are "evil".) All the other experiments he met were incredibly savage and prone to insanity, so Mikey was forced to fight them to stay alive. Basically it was an evil scientist's version of a gladiator arena.
Mikey's bros would have probably gone in the very night he was captured, but knew that they needed a plan. Donnie spent the week researching, Leo spent it making strategies and contingency plans, Raph spent it stress-training and crying, April and Cass and CJ spent it scouting the place out.

who do you think would be the batfamilys godly parents in a pjo au?
Interesting question!
Previous post about how Dick and Percy and Tim and Nico are identical.
Also disclaimer: All these characters can come from different gods which is why I struggled with this because I have a hard time simplifying them into one trait but I tried my best to do them all right.
Bruce: I think it'd be really interesting and fitting if Bruce's godly parent was Hades. Bruce's obsession with not killing could lend itself to him experiencing the afterlife and resolving to himself to never send anyone there. He has an obsession with anti-killing and Bruce is also a billionaire so it would tie in with Hades being the god of riches.
Dick: He's the son of Apollo. Mainly for the reason that he's seen as the light to Bruce's darkness and how he made everyone happy and laugh and stuff. Apollo, the god of light, music, and archery matches with Dick's background as a performer and his exceptional physical abilities and combat skills. He also likes helping people. Apollo is the god of healing which means he can accelerate healing, provide comfort, and alleviate pain. Apollo was also known for his beauty and charisma. A demigod of Apollo would have a natural charm, an engaging presence, and the ability to inspire and captivate others which certainly applies to Dick. Furthermore Dick became an actual prophet in the Death Metal arc, having visions of the future. So many attributes that belong to Apollo are also written for Dick. I was already working on this ask when I got the second one but here's a brilliantly written essay ask by anon about why Dick could also be a son of Ares.
Jason: Jason's pretty much the son of Ares. He struggles with pain and he has a canonical violent nature to his robin ("mean streak" as Alfred called it). As Red Hood he has a lot of anger and restlessness and love. Him being the son of Aries also ties into how Jason feels sad about his own anger sometimes. This would be something fun to explore with him analyzing his own bloodlust like in canon and coming to terms with it. It also makes sense because as Red Hood he acts a lot like Clarisse but smarter. Because Ares is the god of war, Jason would have a high pain tolerance and resilience which enables him power through battles and this could be tied to his post-lazarus pit experience. Ares' children possess exceptional combat skills, strength, and a fierce determination which aligns with Jason.
Tim: Athena. As a demigod of Athena he would possess exceptional intelligence, critical thinking skills, and a natural thirst for knowledge. Furthermore he and Dick have a good tactical sense on the battlefield which aligns with Athena's Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy.
Stephanie: Hermes! She's fun, outgoing, and social but Stephanie also struggles with insecurities of not living up to expectations. For as bright and sunny as she is, she also gets super anxious about her abilities and meeting Bruce's. I feel like this is very much how sons and daughters of Hermes felt. They were a super happy bunch but at the same time they felt a collective feelings of being abandoned by their parent. Of not being enough for them. This feeling marks the majority of Stephanie's robin career. Her reappearance as Spoiler aligns with the Hermes demigods of being accepted for who they are and becoming happy. Furthermore Hermes, the god of travel, communication, and athleticism, would align with Stephanie's resourcefulness and agility as Spoiler. Hermes' children possess swiftness, agility, and a talent for communication like she does.
Cass: Artemis. Goddess of the Hunt. Children of Artemis would heightened senses, such as enhanced vision or hearing, and are skilled in survival techniques which fits in perfectly with her meta-like body reading perception skills. Artemis' children often value their autonomy and prefer solitude and while Cass may not prefer it, she's not opposed to it either. Artemis is self-sufficient and can adapt to any situations by relying on her own skills and resourcefulness which Cass excels at.
Damian: I don't know how it would work but Damian's godly parent would also be Hades. Maybe Hades is his grandparent but his powers are strengthened by his connection to the Lazarus pit given the revival thing and how Hades is the god of Death. Hades is associated with darkness and shadows so ofcourse Bruce and Damian also have the power to manipulate shadows, using them for concealment, transportation, or even offensive purposes.
Duke: Duuuuuke. Duke was so hard to define and I debated over him for a while before coming to the conclusion that his godly parent is probably Hephaestus. Given Duke's resourcefulness, technological skill, and his ability to manipulate light as the Signal, Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths, craftsmen, and technology, would align with Duke's technological prowess and inventive nature.
Again all of them are multitalented and can come from a number of different parents so I did my best to take into account their history and abilities and motives and tried to write them individually. This turned into less PJO gods and more actual Greek God characterization whoops

Bat bio donors
So Catherine Todd, unfortunately, wasn't Jason's bio mom, even if she was his mom in every other way that matters. Embezzler, child trafficker, and Joker associate Shelia Haywood was his biological mother...probably.
There was no DNA test so I remain unconvinced.
That being said, I see no acceptable evidence that Willis Todd was Jason's bio father. (And if there is, shhh, don't care)
Yes Bruce could be his bio dad but boring, be more creative!
For example, someone else who's based in Gotham, who might have a fling and not follow up on it for very whatever reason, and who might be the namesake of our favorite gun wielding bat: Jason Bood. Yes Shelia, if she is the mother, may have put Willis on the birth certificate, but there's nothing to say that she didn't have an evening with a man with a charming accent, considerable experience, and a rather two faced nature.
Or perhaps someone who is a tiny bit less volatile such as David Cain.
Or honestly there's enough weirdness in Gotham that Jason's other bio donor was Nocturna, the woman who would later want to adopt him while he was Robin and she was, in fact, though she didn't know it, trying to get her own bio child.
Furthermore, Bruce as Tim Drake's bio donor, yes, good, understandable, likely even.
However, there are other options, for example:
Janet spends a great deal of time going around the world and with various artifacts, some of these artifacts could be magical in nature. That magic may have various effects on the average person and one of the more popular things that people in ancient times sought revolved around fertility control, to improve or prevent. Janet might trip over more than a few artifacts designed to improve fertility, let's say even to the point that some who might not normally be able to sire children might in fact be capable of doing so with Janet while she's still under the influence of such magic, such as:
Lady Shiva who admires Janet's ability to handle both a growing business and her academic pursuits.
Ra's Al Ghul who came by for an artifact and had a fling with the lady who found it mostly because why not? Yes if Tim ever found out, or Ra's ever found out, it would result in considerable mental distress, but it could also be hilarious. Flip a coin to decide if this would make Talia want Tim dead more or less than she already does.
Some ancient god who's essentially mortal at this point and has been clinging to existence by the thinnest thread and really the only reason their name is known at this point is because it was in a letter about very bad copper. Tim receives no benefits from this parent except above average endurance and healing which is how he's survived. He's also as stubborn as the nameless god that's hung on for four thousand or so years.
Gotham itself is Tim's bio donor and this is why tiny baby stalker Tim didn't die a thousand times over while he was taking pictures, Gotham was looking out for their son.
Then there's Cassandra, "one who is all" who may or may not be Shiva's daughter.
Honestly for Shiva and for Talia, given the danger they put themselves in and the stress that pregnancy can do to a body, plus the necessary time to heal properly afterwards, the canon where Damian is grown in a tube makes sense and I wouldn't be surprised if Shiva took a page from Talia's book.
Shiva as the mother of "one who is all" can make sense. The other bio donor, well, let's look at other options.
Slade perhaps? He's had quite a few remarkable children, and can handle none of them, but that wouldn't stop him from being a candidate.
If you're a fan of wuxia or xianxia novels, look for or make up some ancient cultivator that Shiva sought out for training perhaps and on that strength Cassandra can pick up cultivation and become that much more awesome, maybe even teach it to her brothers.
Sect Leader Cass o((>ω< ))o
Or someone can be related to or connected to a Lamont Crantson and see if they can step out of his Shadow.
Dick's bio parents were freakin' awesome so jumping over him and also leaving Duke's parentage alone though more distant ancestors for either of them, such as great-great grandmothers or grandfathers might be interesting. Dick has a Talon in the family tree but who else might be hanging around in there?
For example, Santa is real in the dc universe. Tim and his team could have witnessed the death of Dick's maternal great-great-great-great grandpa.
As for Duke, if his family has been in Gotham for longer than a generation, there've got to be some serious weirdos in his bloodline, maybe a lesser known Talon or Queen Mab.
Damian not being the son of Bruce and Talia would be a serious blow to the kid and not worth it. Giving him blood siblings is more fun. He already has a problem learning to share his dad with his adopted siblings, sharing with blood siblings would be good for him.
Stephanie? An additional dad option would probably give her some sort of mental crisis since she originally based her vigilante career on defeating her deadbeat, second rate rogue father. It would be interesting and honestly a little hilarious though if her mother had a fling with Oliver Queen.

I wish DC would actually let Cass, Jason and Dick to be explictly shown as more skilled than Bruce. I'm getting tired of them being a fodder for him when they were at least once shown as capable adults who at least could give him a damn hell of a time if not outright beat him
I said the same thing before, all 3 of them should have surpassed him a long time ago if Batman wasn't DC's special snowflake princess.
I wouldn't mind him defeating them if it was something like "Bruce knows he can't overpower Cassandra in a fight, so he will win by out-smarting her instead" or "getting emotional is Jason's biggest weakness, so Bruce will exploit that by saying something that will set him off" or "Dick has agility and stamina over Bruce, but Bruce has brute strength and experience, so if he stood his grounds then Dick wouldn't be able to overwhelm him."
But that never happens, they never give us a compelling reason to how Bruce is constantly wining over them that includes him playing off their personal weakness and the advantages that he has on them, instead its just plot-armor most of the time.
The recent group fights in Gotham War especially pissed me off, there's absolutely no way that Dick, Jason, Cassandra, Duke, Tim and Stephanie can't all capture Bruce easily and the way he took them down was frustrating. Like he just shot a grappling-gun straight at Cassandra? And she actually ran into it? The same Cassandra that has the ability to analyze her opponents future attacks based on their movements? There's absolutely no logical reason to why she couldn't have simply dodged that attack or at least get up immediately after it hit her.

cass and tim for short fic? Maybe with a dash of hurt comfort bc I’m a sucker for it <3 🫶
The bullet isn't lodged too deeply. Tim takes a breath before steadily pulling it out, just the way Alfred taught him. He can almost hear the old man's voice, feel him next to Tim, steadying his hands.
Cass is silent and still, unnaturally so. She looks like she could be watching TV, not getting a bullet pulled out from between her ribs. It makes Tim want to shiver, even after all these years.
More than anything he wants to apologise. But he knows she won't accept it. If she hadn't gotten in front of that bullet he'd be dead, and he is alive now so to Cassandra he has nothing to apologise for. But Tim wants to anyway. He's supposed to be better than this, the only Robin who never died even for a few seconds. If he can be so distracted by a fight that a stray bullet almost kills him...
The bullet comes out. Cass moves then, reaching forward to pull Tim's face upwards so that he's looking right at her.
"It's not your fault." she says.
Logically, Tim knows she's right. None of them, not even Bruce, are capable of dodging bullets they don't see. That skill belongs to Cass and Cass alone. But a voice that sounds like Batman won't leave Tim's head, insisting that he should have had better situational awareness, better tactics before entering the firefight. Batgirl is injured now. Because of him.
"I know." He says, because he does. Knowing and feeling are two different things.
Cass frowns, but says nothing as Tim starts stitching up the wound.
"We did good." She speaks at last. "The gang is... Over. Gone for good."
It's true. They caught the last of them and destroyed the boats they were using to move the illegal goods. Even if they continue to work inside prison, their ties and influence over the outside world have been thoroughly destroyed. It's good work, especially for one night.
But his sister is hurt. Because he wasn't good enough. Tim isn't insecure, he knows his own strengths and weaknesses. Tonight he messed up, simple as. He'll just have to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Cass sighs, leaning her forehead against Tim's shoulder. She's determined to give him comfort and Tim... As much as he's not ready to forgive himself, he's not willing to push it away either.
He finishes stitching the wound up and dresses it. Cass watches him in silence. Once he's done, she scoops him up and deposits him on the couch, ignoring his protests.
"You've just been shot! Don't put pressure on the wound!"
"Tis merely a flesh wound."
"Funny reference but it's not. It's literally not."
She rolls her eyes, a fond smile on her face.
"Pick a movie, nerd."
See, this is Steph's influence right here. Not Cass calling people nerds, but Cass calling Tim specifically a nerd. He should protest, tell Cass to leave him alone to sulk and wallow in his own mistakes.
Tim picks out a movie.
Cass ruffles his hair and pecks him on the cheek. As Mean Girls starts playing, she stretches out on the couch next to him, completely relaxed like she doesn't have a bleeding hole between her ribs.
Tim still feels guilty. He knows from experience he won't stop feeling guilty until at least tomorrow night. But he'd be lying if he said he didn't feel a little better. It's impossible to take himself super seriously and brood when the girl who got wounded because of him is shoving her feet in his face.
Not for the first time tonight, Tim finds himself very grateful for older sisters.

I just found out that there are people out there who believe Jason Todd beats Cassandra Cain in a fight... What??? I am aware that there was a comic where he got good hits in but it was very obvious and even outright said that Cass wasn't even trying to win, let alone hurt him, by Dick. Also, if they're thinking about that one time Jason fought Bruce, Dick and Cass all at once and won, you have got to be aware of how ridiculous that was. Like, Jason, as much as I love him, is the worst fighter out of them. Still a damn good one, but compared to them, just no.
Like, Dick, the weakest fighter out of that trio has more than fifteen years of experience of vigilantism. AT LEAST, the timeline's weird so I don't know exactly how much. He's trained with Batman for around a decade, was such a good fighter that he caught Deathstroke's eye and has trained with him for a bit and many more dangerous people.
Bruce, depending on how old he is and when exactly he started training idk but I assume it was late teens or early adulthood, has AT THE VERY LEAST twenty years of training and experience, most probably more. Has trained with people all over the world, INCLUDING the League and has beat Jason without THAT much difficulty before. Post mortem Jason I mean.
Cass, if we count her as around eighteen, has fucking eighteen years of training, with David Cain and many other people he brought in for her to fight against, grown trained killers. Her training was the most brutal out of all three of them. Cain has literally shot her out of nowhere and then forced her to fight him right after to, and I quote, "keep her on her toes". It's been said by Batman, Deathstroke and probably other people that she could beat Batman in a fight. And people like to say that Bruce only said that cause he's self deprecating and that's honestly so insulting to him. He's hard on himself and has shit self worth over things like his parenting, failing to save people etc, but he is an intelligent man who knows his strength and his weaknesses very well and over OR under estimating himself would've gotten him killed years ago. CASSANDRA CAIN'S ABILITY TO READ PEOPLE'S BODY LANGUAGE IS SO INSANE THAT SHE'S BEEN ASSUMED TO BE META HUMAN BECAUSE HER SPEED WAS SO FUCKING INSANE IT WAS DEEMED IMPOSSIBLE FOR HER TO BE HUMAN. This one guy said and I quote, "Her individual moves are borderline human. It is her aggregate speed that's metahuman. Humans can throw a 100 miles per-hour fastball, smash concrete with their heads, and run 4.2 forties. What they can't do is all of that at once. It's not so much physical as... as mentally impossible. Too much to coordinate." Her ability, trained into her not just gained, is so fucking op these people have no idea how it's humanly possible. The only advantage my boy Jason's got are his guns and the fact Cass can't physically stomach killing people. Cass without that hatred of killing dog walks Jason, even without it actually. In the Batgirl volume 1, after she loses her ability to read body language (she gets it back later ofc) she gets hit and is then in shock because no one has managed to land a single fucking hit on her since she was six. She proceeds to beat the shit out of people easily and thinks to herself "I'm fighting like a child. Pathetic", as she barely holds herself back from accidentally crushing skulls.
Cass has been very much nerfed in the newer comics for plot's sake or because the writer doesn't know her character well, or most probably because they want to put a certain character on a pedestal. They've done it all the time and you can't honestly call yourself a fan if you actually think Jason, even with the pit rage and the guns and hatred that makes him willing to kill, would be capable of even beating Nightwing unless he's having a really bad day, let alone all three of them.
Point of this all is: Cass rocks and DC sucks ass at being consistent and actually paying attention to the characters they write. They actually made Cass a villain in one. She found out she had a sister, murdered her and a bunch of other people for no reason, found out Deathstroke had brainwashed her or something and then killed him. Which btw, she killed Deathstroke. Bro's a hell of a challenge for the Bat and she killed him. Still think Jason, or Dick or Bruce could beat her? An argument could be made for Bruce but even then they're AT LEAST on equal footing, though I think Cass would still win. Would be a hell of a fight and Cass would get some nasty ass possibly fatal injuries but she'd still beat him in my humble and accurate opinion.
Okay I'm done now. Longest rant yet. Had a lot of feelings about this particular topic, sorry.

DALV Energy Drink
 I
there is a popular energy drink that becomes all the rage everywhere even Gotham. Tim out of curiosity of its claims takes it. And starts to feel really energize and stronger.
but overtime he starts to have weird side effects. strength he knows is impossible for him, knowing for certain his hand should not have passed through his mug.
turns out the energy drink is called Spectacular... it’s actually connected to specter... as Spect is in different font.
upon analysis the drink has something similar to pit water in it. uwu and you see where this is going kek
also 100% Vlad's idea =w= if he can’t have the only halfa like him he'll make more.
Danny just finding this out the same time as Tim.
ok just plopping a mini-idea plot kek
 Gh
It’s not 100% like sunset overdrive but def love it like I do
 L
Is one of the side effects mood swings?
 I
strong emotions yes
 L
Yeah, Tim should try to figure it out without telling his family because ‘embarrassing’
 Go
Question, would the rest of the batfam try it?
R
Jason, no. He's against energy drinks on principal. Plus, the stuff is rank.
Damian, also no. he'd never drink something as plebian as an energy drink.
 Gh
Dick is a maybe
R
Dick, maybe? But he doesn't like the way it makes him feel, so he only tries it once
Bruce, absolutely no.
Alfred would have a conniption if he found any energy drinks in the house
Gi
Cass would try
R
She would
Gi
Duke too, he doesn’t have an opinion on energy drinks, but likes the taste of some and is willing to try
R
Then she'd make a face at the taste and never touch it again
Duke drinks it too, but it doesn't affect him because of his powers
Gi
he doesn’t have fast metabolism in his skillset
i mean in canon
Healing ability: it has been discovered that Duke's powers allow him to heal rapidly in dire situations.
he has this
R
Hmm…
Gi
fanon we can do whatever
R
Maybe his rapid healing repairs the damage the ectoplasm does before it can take root
Gi
you have a point there
R
Like, you know the radium girls?
Gi
yeah
R
Ectoplasm is like that, except with DNA instead of bone
So, Duke's healing factor keeps the ectoplasm from changing his DNA
Gi
he is the only one that can drink it without consequences
Go
Can I just say I still want someone to trick Jason into drinking it and he ends up falling through a chair?
If we go with the ectoplasm = lazarus pit, it’d be like a temp boost for him
Gi
especially if the ectoplasm in the drinks is purer
S
Imagine Jason starts drinking it and it helps filter out the lazarus water from his system and replace it with cleaner ectoplasm
Gi
yeah, this ⬆️
R
Lol, I can see Jason scowling, plugging his nose and chugging the stuff. It nasty but damn it if it isn't effective
Go
Bruce is in the corner trying to figure out why his kids are experimenting with it
 I
Yes
Also, low key imagine after all is said n done jazz keeps the rest of the drinks, /stored away for emergency uses...
 Go
It’s a nice little thing for Danny
 I
Or jokingly, Vlad is allowed to legally sell it with proper warning labels...
Yess it’s a good pick me up for Danny
 Go
Unless that says not suitable for human consumption, then no
 I
Can see Tim having a hard time stopping.
 Go
Probably
Gi
halfa Tim?
H
oooh halfa Tim
 Go
If they get Jason hooked on it, you could have both
Him and Tim
Gi
👀
H
Tim not noticing he's a ghost now and standing in the kitchen making coffee when someone else walks in and double takes
even better if ghost Jason was the one to walk in and he's freaking out
and freaks out more seeing ghost Tim
Gi
ghost Jason falls through the floor in shock
H
gets stuck waist deep in the ground and starts yelling
 I
Yesss
Danny now constant contact because A he likes these guys and B he wants to help them
Gi
Danny adopts the silly new halfas
under his wing
 I
Vlad got fucked. He succeeded and failed lol because they just band with Danny XD
H
Vlad: YES IT WORKED
Danny: mine now
Vlad: NO NO NO
I
Can mix in where Tim n Danny swapped their villains wanting them kind of XD
Ooo they now have to keep making the drinks but remove like the caffeine and abundance of sugar… more "healthy" for back up reserves.. Alfred overseeing this. His n Jazz's idea, since they have 3 halfas and 4 if Danielle shows
Gi
i like this
H
Dani probably got a power boost from the standard drink
 Go
This feels like it’d be so much fun to read
H
it does
Gi
now, someone has to actually write it
-----

E/riel’s acting like Rhys didn’t also have to be carried up that mountain too. And I love Elain, but let’s be honest, how would she do in the Blood Rite? I find it funny how people say the Valkyries winning the Rite is unrealistic, but Feyre (I love her too this isn’t hate) killed a giant worm with bones while she was still human and scrawny. The Valkyries, imo, won because they worked together while the men choose the Rite to try and kill each other. Gwyn (& Emerie) earned the title of Carynthian. And Nesta rightfully earned her title and if she didn’t have to hold the line, she could’ve become a Carynthian also. Gwyn was ready to die with and for her friends. Idk if Cassian & Azriel know that, but I think they would actually be moved by that. Idk if they also know about Gwyn spying on the beast and leading it to the Illyrians, but I think they would be impressed. I hope we get a scene or something like that in Az’s book where he’s impressed, so it’ll shut up certain people. E/riel’s really acting like Gwyn didn’t do anything significant during the Rite. Lmao.
the "it's unrealistic!!!" argument is so stupid to me because like... these are fairies with magical powers that are, in part, sustained by annual orgies. if you're going into a fantasy series looking exclusively for realism then you need a new hobby lol
you're so right! they helped each other. the rite showed us how far they'd come and honestly, each had an advantage in my opinion. nesta had her rage to guide her, emerie had her clipped wings, normally seen as a weakness but here it was perfect since the men weren't used to not having them and gwyn was shown to be a capable spy. none of them would have survived alone but they succeeded because they had each other to rely on, while the illyrians strictly kept to themselves. their strength was in their friendship, much like rhys, cass and az when they did the rite. it was a direct parallel, i thought that was pretty obvious lol?? it's really not hard to understand
besides the girls trained for months, it's not like they had zero experience in this area? it was their first true test, yes, but what does that matter here? the rite in acosf was one of the best things sjm has ever written. if all you're doing is scrutinizing it for some kind of gotcha then you're missing the whole point

So, I don’t post my writing ever, but Cass and the whole series has been inspiring. The last part of Donatello’s chapter spiked interest for this one-shot.
Taking place between CJ running for his things, and coming back to see Uncle Tello in the bath, thoughts overwhelm Tello and make him question everything they’re about to accomplish.....maybe.
Potentially slightly ooc for Uncle Tello, but it’s my first go. All credit for story line goes to @somerandomdudelmao
TW: little angsty, (it gets better) anxiety

D is for Denial
Uncle Tello woke up in his enormous room with disheveled blankets and a somehow missing mask. He groaned and reached down in an attempt to feel his adoptive nephew. Poor kid passed out midway through his brilliant revival rant last night after being so convincing that sleep wasn’t needed. His hand fell into pure blanket and he glanced over his shoulder to confirm Casey’s absence.
Rolling over onto the empty blankets, Don muttered to himself, “Where could that kid have gone at this hour of the day?” A sigh escaped his throat as his arm draped over his face. “Maybe ran off to figure out how he found me? …That was a big piece of our puzzle we’re missing.” He dropped his arm above his head, making a mental note that his mask had been found there. Eyes carefully looked over his surroundings. The colors are so vibrant here. Plants were somewhat familiar and thriving. When was the last time he felt rays of sun coming down onto him? The warmth brought a feeling of safety, like there was…hope?
Donnie sat up with a desperate ‘huff’, suddenly extremely aware of what was being planned for his brothers to be revived. Sure, he had done this once before. Sure, he documented the process to a ‘T’ so it could be repeated by almost anyone (including Leo). Sure, Casey Junior was here to help, but something wasn’t sitting right. Something felt wrong about this. Dee’s brows furrowed and his knees came instinctively to his chest.
“What the hell is this?” he questioned himself. “W-we know- I know what needs to be done for this…” Thoughts began flooding his brain like a tsunami. ”Denial”
“What if these calculations only work for Raph?” “Denial”
“W-what if we can’t find all the materials?” “Denial”
“What if this doesn’t work in this timeline?” “Denial”
“What happens if something goes wrong?” “….”
“Why in the hell am I only thinking of worst-case scenarios?”
“I don’t know, maybe DENIAL?”
Casey’s words from their last conversation silenced his constant questioning. Were any of their combined efforts even worth it? Could this unprecedented experiment even be replicated? Could the Great Donatello…have been wrong? Air had been cut off from his lungs this whole time, like a wall of future regret and past anguish made a home in his throat. Thoughts set fire to his mind- he couldn’t stand losing his brothers a second time, let alone by his own hand. Tears threatened their way into the genius’ eyes, whether from lack of air, or the overwhelming feelings creeping in didn’t matter. Something clicked as the salty water began to creep down his face- he was alive.
The breath that came after this realization acted like a fire extinguisher to his burning thoughts.
‘Why wouldn’t it work here?’ a smirk formed on his face as His Brilliance got back to work. ‘It has to, the physics would be the same-mostly-. Calculations can be reworked for any situation. Materials can be bought, made,...or stolen. And replications?’ He looked at his own hands as his legs lowered to the ground.
“I’m my own proof this is gonna work”
Blinking the remaining water from his vision, Donnie looked back up at the light now pouring in from above. He knew, in some heart-string-pulling way, that for the time being, he was going to need to be the strength, razz, and face-man of the Hamato’s until he and Casey could bring his respective brothers back. Don gave a signature “scoff” to himself.
“A man of science being ruled by emotion…how embarrassing. The results are here.” A smile replaced the smirk that had been sitting on his face. A small shiver ran down his back. Guess the light can only give so much heat….
Donnie grabbed his mask and robe earnestly and marched his way to the bathroom. “If I’m gonna be thorough, I’m gonna be thorough, comfortably.” With the door partly closed, warm water began to run in hopes the heat would well replace that of the sun.

Another passage from the Cass review that has garnered attention reads as follows: 16.20 For birth-registered females, the impact of testosterone will give a higher sex drive than they might have experienced during their biological puberty, and after one year will result in robust increases in muscle mass and strength (while birth-registered males will maintain their muscle strength) (Wiik et al., 2020). In the absence of any experience as an adult cis-woman, they may have no frame of reference to cause them to regret or detransition, but at the same time they may have had a different outcome without medical intervention and would not have needed to take life-long hormones. [Cass report, p. 195] This seems to suggest that trans male/masculine youth should not take testosterone because, if they do, they will never know what it would have been like to be a cis woman (presented here as the healthier outcome: “without medical intervention”). More crucially, if they do transition sans regret or detransition, well, we can never truly know for sure whether transitioning made their lives substantially better because they don’t have the proper “frame of reference” to assess that (read: because they didn’t turn out cis, we can’t trust anything that they say about themselves). Can you see how twisted this line of thinking is? As bioethicist Florence Ashley responded, “By that logic should we force cis people to take HRT just so they can have a frame of reference for what it’s like to be trans?” Ashley’s comment was obviously intended to illustrate a point, but let’s take their proposal seriously for a moment. What if we administered cross-sex hormones to all adolescents, just to make sure they aren’t trans. If they don’t like the effects, no worries, they can always choose to stop taking these hormones once they’re 18 (when they’re old enough to “know for sure”). After all, many “objective and science-minded” pundits have assured us that there is nothing wrong with forcing trans adolescents into unwanted puberties, so the same probably holds true for cis adolescents, shouldn’t it? And if these kids complain about the effects of this unwanted puberty—discomfort, cognitive dissonance, dysphoria—well, those are subjective feelings and we shouldn’t let them get in the way of science! I’d imagine that this thought experiment generated visceral reactions in many readers (it certainly did for me writing it). Can you imagine the horror of being forced into the wrong puberty? Well, I can. Firsthand. Same goes for most trans people. And if you can relate to how horrific it would be for a cis adolescent to be pushed into a puberty that was abhorrent to them, what’s preventing you from extending those feelings to the trans daughter from the earlier anecdote? Or to the trans boys who Cass seems to think need to experience a cis womanhood in order to acquire a proper “frame of reference”?
