!! CHAPTER 7 / DIASOMNIA ARC SPOILERS !!
A post about the basics of Silver's UM (with small theories included)
Let's talk about Silver's Unique Magic shall we?
Tumblr media
"Meet in your Dream" or "Meet in a Dream" allows Silver to enter people's dreams. However, there are conditions that Silver has to meet in order for the unique magic to work.
The conditions being: 1. Silver has to be asleep 2. Silver and the owner of the dream he's entering has to know they're dreaming And two other conditions follow with his UM, that being: 1. Silver can't choose as to whose dream he'll enter (but he can tell who the owner is once he sees a bird flying around that person) 2. Silver won't be able to remember anything once he wakes up
Because of his UM, Silver is quite knowledgeable about dreams in general. It's mentioned that it's possible for someone to wake up if they experience a great impact of pain (whether it be dream or real life). But this leaves some questions to rise such as: Can one experience the pain they felt in a dream in real life? What happens when one dies in a dream?
If you're going to ask me about it, I'm thinking it's similar to when you fall off in a dream, your body wakes you up out of shock. You kind of experience the feeling that you fell, but you didn't actually fall in real life. If that even makes sense.
Silver can also visit a place he calls "Corridor of Dreams" which allows him to go into one dream to another, which from the picture looks like the ending of scene of the Sleeping Beauty film.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another factor about the dreams is that he can only enter dreams of the people he has bond/link with. Which is quite an interesting touch as Silver struggles to make bonds with other people as mentioned in his dorm vignette. Thus giving us the possibility that the dreams he can enter are quite limited back when he was still in Briar Valley and possibly during his first year in NRC.
It's noted that this is not the full extent of his unique magic as of now, as Silver doesn't have full control over it. But one condition is broken in the story, which is Silver having no control as to whose dream he's going into. This is because of the ring that Lilia gave Silver during the second part of Chapter 7.
Tumblr media
As we can see, it's emitting light; and when Silver asked for his father's strength, they were brought to Lilia's dream. So we can say that the ring acts as a catalyst which makes it easier for them to navigate dreams.
I'm just going to leave the post here for now, but I will be making another follow up post about more theories surrounding Silver and Malleus ^-^

Hi, I just wanted to say I love yiur wish rewrite ideas so far! Your art style is so cute!
I’ve got afew questions about it.
What’s Asha’s role in the story? Is she an actual princess this time or is she Magnifico’s apprentice from the start?
I would also like to know a little more about star and Magnufico if you can❤️👍
AAAAA TYSMMMMM!!!! THIS MEANS THE WORLD TO ME
Tumblr media
ANYWAY messy character/story ramble and some on the spot brainstorming under the cut:
I mentioned it in my first wish post but yes she’s still wanting to be the kings apprentice/isn’t a princess (but I’d say for the ending after the king gets killed off villain style she replaces him as princess so it comes full circle n all)
The main difference with my Asha is she has zero social skills/is shy/doormat, I liked the idea of how she was anxious before meeting with the king but youknow in mine I’m getting rid of the adorkable stuff from it. Like it emphasizes how big of a deal this is because she finally worked up the proper courage to speak with him.
I’m not 100% sure but I like the idea she only offers to be his assistant AFTER being turned down about granting her grandfathers wish, like I think she’d always want to be a sorcerer like him but never had that wish right at the forefront youknow? Perhaps after her father died she lost hope in that or just thought it was unrealistic etc but I feel like in the movie her having both of those motivations at once kinda muddled with things and definitely paints her as being a bit selfish especially considering this movie does just a reallllly poor job at show don’t tell like we never see Asha like studying magic or wishes or looking up to the king etc but we sure are told it a lot but just?? It definitely feels very cluttered and could easily be adjusted with just emphasizing one thing over another, so in mine I’d like to think either one of two things I’ve not decided yet but either 1: she hits two birds with one stone and goes to work for magnifico for a bit and only THEN asks about her grandfather's wish or 2: my previously stated idea of asking about wish first and doing apprenticeship work in exchange
I kinda prefer the first one a little bit just bc gives us some time with Asha and the king to interact while also giving time for another wish ceremony to happen in that time, and for her grandfather to again not get his wish chosen to kinda put a nail in the coffin. And in mine her grandpa is much more physically fitting for being 100 like man is going to die in like the next one or two years he doesn’t have very long HENCE haves emphasis on WHY Asha is so insistent on getting his wish granted bc in the movie sure she cares about him but we aren’t SHOWN WHY like no specific childhood moments or any clear close bond moments like I said just way too much tell and not enough show
not sure about her dad yet but I definitely wanna make him more prominent maybe he was magnificos apprentice or studied stars etc just something to give him more of a importance
But yeah so making her shy was a big thing in helping separate her from other Disney protags bc I honestly can’t really think of many outright anxious or people pleasing Disney princesses/Disney girl protagonists ? And because it helps with her arc of standing up for herself/seeking justice like it hits it home a lot harder as compared to “ooo quirky girl but now she’s cool!!” Like it felt very forced to me atleast in my opinion so here it feels much more natural, and helps her bounce off star more bc the goat was not it that wasn’t a character to bounce off of that was a trailer one liner generator.
So speaking of Star!! Bc you asked about him so yeah uhh not really much to say besides I wanted to combine the cute ball of energy personality that the movie had AND the bombastic energetic shapeshifter boy from the concepts so I combined them together to get cute starboy who rather than being full of energy is more so just easily excited especially considering star has wanted to visit earth for forever
I like the idea that maybe they never granted wishes or helped people was because Asha and her dad were the only ones who really wished on stars bc everyone else just went to the king. So Star hears her venting abt the king not helping her grandad at the tree asking for help as like a last ditch attempt and star recognizes her voice and grants her wish like ‘you wanted help? I’m here now!’ Type of deal
Ohhh another idea I actually got this from another post but someone had mentioned making the stars magic/wish granting work like the blue fairy from Pinocchio, in which they can’t directly grant wishes but instead give you the means to achieve your wish on your own (hence the bit in that art of magnificos ref sheet having the doodle of Star saying even star can’t grant wishes directly/take them, which is a huge deal bc if a cosmic being can’t do something that this regular ass guy CAN do then that’s a huuuge red flag (or… black flag ig in this case bc yk.., black magic lol))
My Star is basically just a rehash of the classic Ariel type character of ‘I’ve watched humans my whole life and it’s boring in space, I want to be human because I like them!’ But unlike Ariel he doesn’t stay human because star instantly regrets it after getting it granted because 1: magnifico manipulated star and just got god powers and 2: ‘oooohgpf this is overstimulation hell wtf wtf wtf I hate this this feels so weirddddd’
And another reason is because of the Asha foils/recognition of the self through the other plot of them two thus they get symbolism of appreciating what they already have and all :3
Magnifico I’m still brainstorming on but tldr I’m thinking he will be more manipulative than straight up evil/the full evil stuff just shows up later/it’s a slow burn
Like starts off being a little sus but ultimately well meaning and helpful, then bleeds into manipulation territory, then once getting star magic he just lets go of all that restraint and just is full power hungry villain, ALSO killing the book possession thing bc that was stupid and instead I like the idea he uses dark magic from the start but no one knows because he lies about it’s just because he’s the most powerful sorcerer/maybe he’s the only one who actually knows magic either bc of a ban or perhaps something about his old kingdom being destroyed maybe it could be a library of Alexandria thing of he’s the only sorcerer left around in that area shrugs but lots of fun to be had with him ! slutty evil kings are an awesome trope like I really wanna play on hubris/self downfall bc that’s my favorite kind of villain of ‘you could have been different but just dug yourself such a deep hole it became your grave’
Sorry for the ramble oof I just decided to let alphabet spaghetti fall out of my mouth and hope it turned into comprehensible sentences ok

OC Interaction Tag
I was tagged by @willtheweaver (here) and @illarian-rambling (here)! Thank you so much for the tag!
Rules: describe an OC and pair how they would interact with the given OCs from the people who tagged you!
Imma do this in two parts, so I'll go with Nimwen from Of Starlight and Beasts for Part 1 because I feel like I don't talk about that girl enough! Then I'll go with my boy Renn from the unnamed standalone fairytale WIP that plopped its way into my brain this weekend and hasn't let go since, for Part 2!
Part 1
Will's OC: Fen is a crow. But he does not act like one, having grown up among the foxes of the forest. All his life, he has had to keep his identity a secret. For obvious reasons, Fen does not let too much of himself be known. What he does show is an understanding nature ,and a knack for bringing out the best in others. Storyteller, a good fighter, tracker, and cook, he is skilled in many arts, though you’d never know that from the way he stays humble and modest. He values friendship, and will support those he trust.
My OC: Nimwen is an 18 year old girl who has spent most of her life (since she was 8) travelling through the uncharted forests of a region popularly called "the wilds", with her adoptive brother Scarlet and their little band of misfits. They live on the outskirts of society, since their kingdom has been so dilligently outcasting them, but they don't seem to mind it. All in all, Nimwen is an awkward, overly anxious, often paranoid but incredibly sweet girl, though she rarely lets strangers get too close to her. She embodies the energy of a skittish deer that will bolt at the nearest sign of danger, even if its a false alarm, though she has very good reasons to be that way - her father was wrongfully executed for treason, and the people of the kingdom didn't exactly give her much reason to trust them after what they did, so yeah. She's very in touch with nature and other people's feelings though she somehow seems very much oblivious to her own. She prefers to avoid confrontation, and will only fight if that's the absolute last resort in a life or death situation. She loves very deeply and makes strong bonds once you get to know her properly.
How they'd interact: I think Nimwen wouldn't be that surprised to meet a sentient, possibly talking, crow - she lives in a world where that kind of magic is actually rather common. So, once they'd met, I think those two would get along pretty well and would likely become good friends. She'd probably be very excited to learn about the new places this bird has seen and flown to, and they'd have a lot in common to talk about when it comes to forests and such. She'd likely listen to his stories for hours on end, never losing interest. The only tricky part would be convincing her brother that Fen is not a spy sent by the King to get them both killed, but once that's out of the way, I'd say conversations would be pretty interesting. Nim's an expert secret keeper, so I firmly believe keeping Fen's identity hidden will not be difficult for her.
Part 2
Illarian's OC: Twenari is an adolescent girl (12 in the first book, 16 in the second two) with short locs and a preference for skirts over pants. She is a prodigy sorcerer and general gifted kid. Throughout her childhood, her smuggler mother used her as a source of magical security and intimidation, which eventually caused her to run away after being forced to commit one too many unsavory acts. Because of this, Twenari acts much older than she is. She's pragmatic, blunt, and strategic. However, in other ways, she's very behind the learning curve. She's painfully introverted and never learned to socialize beyond formal events. Magic is her darling and purpose. She's insatiably curious about everything, but mostly, she wants to understand all the world has to offer in the field of the arcane. She's also at a kill count of about six. That's what happens when you're constantly chased by mercenaries and have the ability to explode people with your brain
My OC: Renn is a young man in his late teens (his exact age hasn't been specified yet, but he's suspected to be around 16-19) with a penchant for dark humor and a love for all that's mysterious and slightly macabre. He has a very strong vibe that is reminiscent of those early 2000s goth/emo kids, minus the angst - just the aesthetics and the sometimes deeply philosophical existential crisis - despite his fantasy medieval setting. He is a rule breaker and likes to question authorities at every chance he gets, and is also very savvy about the true inner workings of their seemingly perfect kingdom. It is implied that he has some kind of secret he is keeping hidden at all costs, and that implication would be true, but its not what most people would assume. While the townsfolk mostly label him as this unhinged/"crazy" reject who is always causing trouble and is up to no good, he is actually a really sweet kid that just had some truly fucked up stuff happen in his past. He is a loyal friend and values honesty and integrity above all else, even if it means he'll have to go down fighting for what he believes in. Despite all of this intensity, he just wants someone to truly understand him and have a pure friendship towards him. He is also implied to be gifted in some kind of magic, though it isn't specified which, and that he has knowlege of "forbidden arts".
How I think they'd interact: I believe Renn would see Twenari as a little sister figure of sorts, mostly because she is a few years younger than him (especially in her first book) but also because he probably sees a lot of his younger self in her - the painful introversion, the passion and drive for knowledge, the wish to cut free from the past. I think that given their personalities and pasts they'd probably get along quite well, especially when it comes to their insatiable curiosity for the arcane, as well as their wish to understand a world that is just so confusing to them as it is. They'd probably disagree a bit when it comes to rules though - as you mentioned she's pragmatic, and I know Renn's a certified rule breaker - but they would probably find a way to work around that. They're also kids who are very smart and who are way too mature for their own age due to having to grow up too fast, so I can see them relating to eachother in that way too.

What would riddles mom do if phoebe came to spend the night with riddle and brings some of her pokémon or even better what happens if she stays the night with each character and bring two or three pokemon with her how would the families react/act
Okay so... this would be a long answer...
Heartslabyul
I don't think Riddle's mom would want her to stay at their place for a sleepover because those would be a "waste of time". Riddle would definitely come over to Trey's though.
Riddle would only have sleepovers during school, I bet. But on the occassion that he has to house Phoebe in his home would be the time where Trey's family would be too busy with the bakery to have a sleepover.
Phoebe would feel uncomfortable when she meets his mom. She was very strict and nitpicked her background. Phoebe was annoyed but said nothing and tuned her out.
She does feel bad for Riddle for having to put up with her, not to mention he almost ruined his life by almost ending up with her attitude.
Ms. Rosehearts would proabably make comments how her familiars would be better off with owners with better potential. Phoebe wouldn't outright start yelling but she would just tell Ms. Rosehearts that she came from a different culture.
Magicless doesn't equate to useless, she's making it out that magic determines a person's worth in society?
Maybe for Ms. Rosehearts it is, but Phoebe's bond and potential with her Pokemon are what gave her a spot in NRC (That's the cover story Crowley told her to tell the public).
Of course, she would say it politely as to not make a scene and would leave soon after. Riddle wouldn't be scolded because his mother would be left speechless yet unable to argue back.
She would go set up a tent in a park or smth.
Ace brought Phoebe over because his brother and mother won't stop nagging at him to have the girl sleepover at their place when they heard she live so far away that she can't spend the holidays at her family's.
Phoebe would bring over Swablu/Altaria (Depending on if he evolved) and Smeargle over. Ace's brother would prank Ace by having Smeargle doodle over his face.
At least the Pokemon made him look like a mona lisa, so it's pretty right?
Deuce would be anxious because the only "friends" he's had were bad influences, he's never had any good friends come over for a slumber party before.
Plus, she's a girl, should he buy nail polish and hair clips for this? That's what girls do at sleepovers in movies...
This boy needs to chill, Phoebe is down to just look at baby pictures his mom would show her.
Speaking of which, his mom would tear up now that Deuce has proper friends. Swablu/Altaria would be brought over, maybe Aggron too.
His mom might be scared of the metal dinosaur at first but after hearing the backstory, she might see Aggron as a sweetheart. He did try to assist her in gardening.
Swablu/Altaria would constantly be smothered by Deuce or his mom because it's a fluffly cloud bird! Who would pass up on the opportunity to hug it?
Trey's family would be excited when he told them Phoebe was coming over. Of course, his siblings would be very, VERY excited.
Phoebe brought over Smeargle, Slurpuff and Ditto with her. She didn't want to make things difficult at the bakery, so she insisted bringing some "master cooks" to their shop.
Trey's parents are in awe at the teamwork Slurpuff and Smeargle were doing in the kitchen. They were sold out after a day! That sensitive nose does wonders for chefs!
Trey's siblings love Ditto! It shapeshifts into anything! Trey almost got a heart attack when he walked in to see a clone of himself doing a silly dance while juggling.
Cater and his sisters are gonna be a chaotic bunch, mainly his sisters who drgas Phoebe into makeovers.
Cater would internally applogize for his pushy siblings but at least he's not the one being smudged with lipstick or hairpins placed on his hair.
But if Cater ever wants to hangout with Phoebe, they'd need a good distraction.... in comes Ditto to the rescue, just a perfect clone of Cater as the two skedaddle outside and goof off.
Savanaclaw
Leona wouldn't suggest a sleepover unless Cheka begs him to bring Phoebe over.
She figured she could bring over certain Pokemon good with kids such as Kangaskhan and maybe the rest of the baby Pokemon just to keep Leona on his toes.
Kangaskhan and the babies kept Cheka company. Farena and his wife absolutely adore the babies. They would definitely pester Leona to invite Phoebe over more to see more of the cute babies.
Ruggie doesn't seem like the type to do sleepovers, so maybe Phoebe will have to do some venturing into the Afterglow Savanna for something and she'll have to stay near the slum area.
Ruggie knows that she's capable but there are thugs out there that would steal from her. So, he offers to have her stay in his small home, its not much but it's the safest place he can guarantee.
Phoebe sets up her tent in his backyard to not take up space in their house. She felt a bit bad occupying thier home even if it was temporary. Granny Bucchi shrugs it off and is actually thrilled to see the famed beast tamer again.
She's gonna want that malasada and poffin recipe, and have Phoebe try her version of it.
Phoebe didn't bring Pokemon for sleep over but for foraging and searching. She brought Corviknight to keep watch over her and Haxorus to help excavate stuff.
But it seems like the Pokemon are hanging at the Bucchi's place. Haxorus was at least a sweetie in helping Granny do some home repairs while Corviknight keep watch in the neighborhood.
Of course, with such large Pokemon the kids in the neighborhood are sure to come running here to see.
Corviknight is calm and lets the hyena cubs climb over him and use him as a slide or shade. Haxorus feels compelled to plant something in Granny's garden because the soil apparently was good quality.
Granny Bucchi would have flowers and fruits growing in a week due to Haxorus' naturally green thumb.
Spending a sleepover at Jack's place, Phoebe would bring Ninetales and Houndour to keep warm. Of course, Jack would ask for Maractus too.
His siblings would cuddle with Ninetales and Houndour because how warm they were. Ninetales usually gets so fussy with anyone messing the fur but for now, she's tolerating just a little bit.
Maybe because of the beastmen features...
Houndour is a grumpy pup but he's suddenly less grumpy when Jack's parents fed him some steak. Win him over with food, the good ol tactic.
Octavinelle
In all honesty, Phoebe would need to be given a transformation potion to visit their home.
I'd imagine her having a tail like a Gyarados but it's red.
She'd bring most of her Water-types to visit, plus they needed to stretch and swim about after being cooped up in the dorm pond or just exploring the limited area of Octavinelle.
Azul's parents would be fascinated to see such intriguing sea creatures. Lapras and Dracovish most of all would definitely get a lot of attention because they look like the sea serpents or something from the depths.
Vaporeon too would get attention, he looked like a creature in the middle of evolving from fish to mammal.
Azul's parents would welcome her to their home and show her the restaurant. His mom may or may not try to show her the baby pictures, Azul desperately trying to stop his mother.
His father would be very interested as to how a mere human found such creatures, he's certainly never seen anything like them. Azul has to chip in to convince his father of a cover story because there's no getting past that man almost.
The leech twins would be more intimidating from what Azul tells her, basically they're the fish mafia. She ought to be careful though, Papa Leech has a gleam in his eyes when he saw her familiars with her.
Mama Leech though, she's already greeting her with a smile and would probably dote on her Pokemon, mostly Dracovish.
Scarabia
Kalim's 30+ siblings would swarm her if it weren't for Jamil directing the other servants to save the guest from the stampede. Phoebe would bring someone that could tolerate kids and keep them entertained as well.
What better way to do that than bring her Eevee team and Seviper over.
Kalim always does a parade, Phoebe thought she should make an entrance when arriving at his estate.
The entire family was gathered to greet her along with the servants. And they see Phoebe command the Eevees in a formation that was amazing to see.
His parents would praise her command over such extraordinary creatures. Kalim's siblings would interact with certain Eeveelutions that match their personality and temperment.
Some energetic ones would play tag with Jolteon, some calmer ones hang around Vaporeon and so on.
Jamil and his family would get Seviper's utmost attention since he did take a liking to the boy.
Jamil is fine with Seviper and introduces him to his family as he explains that Phoebe cares for the creature. They might be taken aback with such a large snake at first but upon seeing how the Pokemon is more like a puppy, they'd coddle Seviper in no time.
Najma would take pictures and is mesmerized by the Pokemon's beautiful patterns, she might think of buying outfits in Seviper's colors next time.
Pomefiore
Vil's version of a sleepover would be when the modeling team needed a partner for Vil's photoshoot because the theme was fantasy. Vil thought of borrowing Phoebe's Pokemon for that.
He'd ask her and she'd obviously have a guest room in his house as well as the studio he'll be in.
Phoebe would bring in he ones that Vil would say fit the image for the photoshoot the most.
Such as Umbreon and Espeon, Ninetales and Morelull. Meeting Vil's father was hilarious because she thought he was Vil's older brother, the man is flattered and proud at the fact he's still got his youth.
The photoshoot would be a success, though it would take a while to get the staff to do their job instead of gawking at the pokemon.
The director can't decide which to pick and just goes with all of them, granting Vil more pages in the magazines.
Rook inviting Phoebe over would be a first since she's never really expected him to have sleepovers with how all over the place he was.
But his family saw the photos he took of the Pokemon, whether Phoebe knows or not, and they wanted to see for themselves.
Phoebe was going to pick a Pokemon to bring but Rook also suggested she brings Steelix along.
Wait! He's a big guy, Rook! You sure?
Apparently his father was very interested in Steelix. A large metal snake beast that is capable of breaking the school into rubble yet he doesn't do that.
He wants to know how in the world can she also manage to feed such a beast with all her other familairs too.
Hoo boy, it'll be quite the conversation.
Epel told his folks about Phoebe and now they're asking if he can have her join them for a sleepover.
Of course, she brings Appletun who overheard that Epel's home town has apples in it. She also brought Meganium over because she loves gardens.
The villagers has to do a double take because there's a walking apple pie and a green dinosaur with a flower. As soon as they get over their initial shock, they appreciate the Pokemon.
Meganium made the plants healthier wherever she goes while Appletun is so pudgy and such a puppy.
Phoebe and Granny Felmier chat about exchanging recipes and of course Phoebe gets a nice warm home-cooking.
Ignihyde
No sleepovers at STYX I'm afraid, but Phoebe would be down to hang in their dorm for an introvert slumber party.
She'll bring Porygon Z and her Rotom (Dexter) over since they were very curious on the concept of a creature made entirely of code or something that can possess machines.
Idia and Ortho have a field day with the other Ignihyde students in studying the two Pokemon. Rotom and Porygon Z trying to out do the other in impressing the audience.
Phoebe also would be given a chance to play some of the games they have here. Of course she also brought snacks made from the berries in her garden, healthy snacking and all.
Diasomnia
Malleus would probably have to make some arrangements because having Phoebe sleepover is like a big deal for Malleus. He's never had that much friends to invite to a sleepover.
Phoebe brought her Dragon-types (including Dracovish and Altaria) and Fairy-types to the Valley of Thorns.
Of course, rest of the Diasomnia Quartet are included. The servants would get the chance to see the famed beast tamer that Lilia would often talk about.
Though they might be a bit disappointed because Lilia may have painted such a grand image of Phoebe.
But they would change their tune when they witness a sparring match between Phoebe's dragons and the retainers. Such a powerful creature on the field that strikes with ferocity yet has a gentle personality.
The fairy Pokemon would look out of place due to them not resembling any fairy the fae can recall. I think they'd be very shocked to even see a fairy let themselves be contracted with a human. They don't dare question it though, Malleus gave a bold fae a stern glare when he asked Phoebe.
Malleus' grandmother would probably join them during dinner. Phoebe can feel the powerful prescence and keep silent until spoken to.
His grandmother was intrigued as she sees the creatures and Phoebe interact. Her little acts of caring are a sign of her being a person worthy of such familairs despite being magicless.
Malleus' most favorite of the Pokemon were Haxorus and Mimikyu. He'd show his grandmother the two, Haxorud does exude strength while Mimikyu has mystery like a fae would.
His grandmother might take her time to share small interactions when she wasn't busy. Mimikyu getting small sweets and Haxorus be given a flower from time to time.
Sebek and Silver would insist that Slurpuff be in charge of the food, Lilia must be kept out of the kitchen. Plus, they won't pass the opportunity to have such good food from Slurpuff.
They were kinda envious that Grimm gets to eat the good food all the time.

i do think people are taking djenks 'izzy is a father figure!!' comment a little too literally
ED saw Izzy as a mentor/'father' figure, a safe, codependent, but also deeply toxic and volatile bond. 'I loved you, as best I could.' he could never love Izzy in a way that was... better, because it was dependent on violence and repression of the true self. I don't think he really saw Izzy as a DAD, it was more that he was a sort of... amalgamation of a lot of things that Ed never had and wished he had but were still not what Ed dreamed of. Lucius says to Stede 'maybe the time with you is the best he was ever gonna get'. Izzy was... the best of a lot of bad relationships, but still not a relationship where he could be his true self. He had to be Izzy's ideal.
Izzy loved who he and Ed were together, the infamous notorious brigand of the seven seas Blackbeard and his loyal, deadly first mate. He loved this concept and this ideal and this comfortable niche they built together after a lifetime of not belonging, but he spent all of season 1 HATING Edward, pushing Edward down, wishing Edward would die. He loved an idea of a man that did not exist anymore, and Izzy knew that about Ed, he knew it long before Stede came around and was refusing to acknowledge the fact that he was beating a dead horse. 'I have... love for you.' I have love for who we are together. I have love for the idea of us as a pair. I have love for what we built. But not you, not what's in your heart.
They're still and always will be family, there still is and always will be love, but love that was unequal and dependent on things that did not match up to what the other loved. I think when Izzy comes back, in whatever way they bring him back 'cause look I'm sorry he's not staying dead if we get a season 3 are you kidding me? Buttons is a bird. Ed was dead long enough for the crew to resort to eating raw seabird. Magic is real and love is true and varied and comes in many many forms, and witches turn into seagulls, and widows paint lighthouses, and soup is good, and whim-prone men open inns, and to be loved is to be changed. I think I'd be a lot sadder about Izzy if I wasn't so 100% sure of the fact that he'll be back. I just don't see a world where Izzy isn't there in season 3, I really don't.
I don't think Stede and Ed are going to be staying as Innkeepers for very long. I think they're going to miss the sea and they'll have to get back out there in the great wide open sooner rather than later, and I think they're going to end up bringing Izzy with them in some form or another. I don't think they'll necessarily be pirates, but I do believe The Revenge is home and I do believe they'll find a place to meet in the middle. (I'm saying, Dinner Theater on the Revenge, docking in Nassau, Barbados, and the former Republic of Pirates.)
Anyway the point is. Ed and Izzy felt vastly different types of love for one another and it was tainted by experience and aggression and pain. They brought out each others poisons and when Ed got tired of the poison, Izzy demanded it continue. And by the time he got what he wanted, Izzy, too, had changed too much to want that poison. But he did ask for it, he demanded it. And it nearly killed them all- it did kill Ed. Imagine that, demanding your oldest friend, your family, to be their worst self, regretting it, and then killing him for it. And yes, he became a unicorn and came out of his shell and grew. But there's still... more, for Izzy to become.
His death will be his rebirth, I think, in a way that goes far beyond the unicorn. He is the spirit of piracy. He became that, in season 2. If we get season 3, fuck it man. Give me ghost pirate Captain Hands, the true and literal spirit of piracy.

Digimon 02 the beginning review:
it was a fun time. I had to take Uber and the fare was rather expensive after it was all said and done. But it was worth it. The Uber driver ended up being the same person there and back! He was a gaming nerd and enjoyed anime too. Theater experience was good too. Got some yummy chocolate peanuts and even extra card packs after the movie.
Tumblr media
Now my thoughts on the movie. I’ll be putting all spoilers under the read more.
The banter between daisuke and miyako never gets old lol
Rui sounds so dang emo telling the others it's his problem and blah blah blah
Rui does says he thinks he is the first in the sub. WHich people can play around with if he really was the first or not. I still think Rui was a chosen child that just didn't realize that other chosen existed. and the digital world wasn't aware of it because Rui never went to the digital world.
Hawkmon flocking in front of Rui was hilarious. Looked like a real bird being obnoxious.
...until hawkmon actually knocked the eyepatch off showing the creepy digimon eye!
When it shows Daisuke holding Rui's hand and assuring him to let them help... I can't help but to notice how short Rui is. Holy cow
Daisuke encouraging Rui's recklessness is sure something lol
Daisuke suggesting if they fly on Imperialdramon fast enough, the humans won't see them. Reminds me of the naruto meme at area 51 XXD “ they can’t hit us if we run fast enough”
RUi running towards lil' Rui and Ukkomon gives Magica Madoka vibes with Homura trying to stop madoka from being a magical girl.
Miyako's light tinted glasses during the computer scene. Haha “all according to keikaku!”
Hikari does indeed say homeostatsis in the japanese version! tri. is Canon folks.
"Ukkomon is a special Digimon..." Heard that one before o_o;;
In the Ukkomon and Rui meeting, Rui accidentally says Unkkomon. Unko being poop in Japanese. Sadly a funny joke lost in translation.
Some wondered if the bruises are actual physical bruises... Rui covers his head. I'd say he does get hit from time to time...
When the characters are talking about the bonds with their Digimon and having to work through conflicts, it really reminded me of part 5 when they tell Meiko the same thing. Kind of nice to get a 02 version of that.
I had to hide my face from the body horror shit. THe eye. Rui's eye. GAPING HOLE IN UKKOMON'S HEAD. Just transferring an eye like it's nothing. This isn't Naruto! That's not how it works!
I had a feeling Hikari said more of "That poor thing" about ukkomon. It feels different actually watching the movie with context than reading other reviews. Hikari could just felt all it wanted to do was make Rui happy.
When Ukkomon goes big, it sings the creepiest happy birthday. Geeeez
I saw a lot of reviews saying the characcters didn't get anything and they were just there. I think they got some nice character moments. THe back and forth about killing Ukkomon for example. It's the 02 kids and they are older now. Their issues are going to be more to the point. It was still good to see. I think the movie did a really good job with that. Despite what people think.
Just a small amount of Kenyako. It made me happy.
Miyako's Bingo!
Loved the 6 way evo. Just cool to see. Glad we got to see their evolutions.
I can't get over Takeru driving a CAR. He drives and Hikari sits up front. The other two in back while Daisuke, Ken, and Rui rode on Imperialdramon. It's just an amusing image. I can't get over it.
There are many shots of this giant digimon eye sticking out of Rui's small head. It creeps me out and they show it a lot.
THe animation for the fights are so dang good. Reviews did not overexaggerate that fact.
I may need to rewatch 02, but where do Daisuke and Ken hang out on fighter mode? I know it's on the back usually but... Also really cool how the inside of Imperialdramon looks like a command room. Really cool..
HAH THE FLIRTING REMARK. Made me smile. *sighs* even after all these years.. It's still just them.
The zoom in on Rui's face and that eye. Wny...
Even as Rui and Ukkomon talk.. the comical eye is there...
The snow fight was gorgeous and fun little moments too. Seeing the international kids all grown up is wonderful. We even see Rosa! Which I think is fantastic.
I was pretty happy with this movie. I don’t think i need a grand series like tri. To flash characters out. They’ve all had their moments in various ways.

hey y'all its been seven hours im not done with the writing lets talk a good omens x ofmd crossover becquse im fucking AMAZING
aziraphale: passenger/medic on a british naval ship. at the beginning of ofmd, he'll be on the Twin's ahip, i forgot what his name was but he's a twib ANYWAYS. aziraphale's the resident Guy, the person you go to for things like advice or medicine and shit. he's kept about because he's useful, and even the other soldiers think he's too polite. but he keeps thr ships blessed, so its okay. his current assignment is to keep the navy in check and make sure they get to heaven, which isssss WOW harder than he expected. he's hanging by a thread. when he becomes part of crew, he starts being the soundboard. like stede but better /hj. he takes turns with telling everyone stories, helps improve the food supply, ACTUALLY KNOWS HUMAN MEDICAL PRATICES, likes watching the relationships aboard foster, looks for new books on raids, etc. just being a Good Vibe. they dont know he's magical, but i feel like frenchie and buttons (or the swede, i always mix those two up, its the one who turned into a bird) would be Onto Him, because they're the most magically paranoid/proficient. he's very like stede, but somehow a more tolerable aura. the crew is wary, especially cause he's british, but they'll be fine.
how aziraphale gets into the story: at the veryyyyy beginning. its during the forced tea party of s1 ep1, as he happened to tag along on the little dingey with the Twin and his men. he REALLY likes the revenge from first glance, and has a good feeling about the group of pirates they've landed upon. but things go awry! the Twin is stabbed thru the eye! but when stede proclaims he did it, aziraphale is ONTO him. the existencial crisis and trama exhude from him. he decides to see this through--and becomes one of the Revenge's hostages semi-willingly. but stede also likes aziraphale--even if he's british--and decides to be chill with him though he' still "texhnixally" a hostage. they bond verrryyyyy quickly, and soon (by like the end of episode 2, when the other hostage is tsken by izzy and the rest) is assimilated into the Revenge's crew. this is good, because heaven can tell that there's gonna be such a juicy moral dilemna with stede hehehe. lets get this bitch to stay good okay?? yeah. yeah this is gonna be fine....
crowley: like with most of these crossovers, crowley happened across blackbeard's crew. he was dayum, they get around and im bored af, lets do this. kinda like with stede (but not strong enough to satiate it) ed thinks he's a breath of fresh air and therefore keeps him around even if he's never seen crowley Kill anyone (they always make miraculous escapes). no one knows he’s a demon but he 100% has that record in pirate community. calling him the devil and the tempter and how he has a silver fucking tongue and shit like that, it follows him EVERYWHERE. not much more about him other than the basics like personality, except it 1000000% has long hair, wears black like the rest of them, and is oddly british. he's not army tho, so its okay. rebel 🙌
WAIT EDIR: maybe crowley can hear on the republic that Izzy’s looking for those naval men and THEN join Blackbeard’s crew. Like solely just to get aziraphale back. hmmm…..
how crowley enters the story: crowley hears about aziraphale's interception when blackbeard and da crew learn about the Revenge ravaging the navel ship. "damn it, i gotta go save my angel." he REALLYYYYYY wants aziraphale back and gets pretty antsy about it because he had no idea what he was ngl, turns out he was on the FUCKING SEA the whole time. (he also hates that he joined the british army but whateva, he dont know it wasnt voluntary.) they meet on the republic of pirates when stede's almost hung and shit, crowley is in Rampage Mode, aziraphale is in Pissed Mode because they're attacking their Fucking Ship, stede is Dying, ed is Doing His Thing and such. thinking about making aziraphale and blackbeard fight and aziraphale wiping the floor with him or smth. aziraphsle would also be the only one to notice stede and cut him down early and protect him during all the chaos, which would probablyyyyyyy get blackbeard on his ass and probably try and kill him which would not work out with ANYONE, anddddd you know. first impressions change shit. the point stands: ed is on, romance is a foot, and aziraphale and crowley are on the same ship. wahoo! and now that ed's on the path to become softer, hell's like AYO KEEP HIM ON HELL'S SIDE and now crowley's got an excuse to stay. i mean, he and aziraphale Could employ the Arrangement, but they were technially different assignments, and this crew looks like they're having the funnest fuckig fun and they feel so genuine. might as well stay...like they say--keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. and by that it means living on the same ship. also it deadass looks like they need miracles to keep together or they'll fucking sink. lol
and the reason why this is important is because that season 2 ends up HELLA different, and season 1's adventures alter a tad, with both crowley/ed's infamy and aziraphale's encouragement for stede to become a real pirate and Miracle Employing. so yay crossover achieved! I THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT THIS CROSSOVER ALRIGHT, SO MANY OTHERS HAVE TOO BUT FUCK
also btw here’s some canon divergences I can already imagine:
- aziraphale and crowley being present during the ‘you wear fine things well’ episode (can’t remember what happens Exactly, but I do know). aziraphale with ed and stede while crowley is helping frenchie and olu with their pyramid scheme. they both contribute wahoo!
- lucius is the ship marriage counselor and he’s onto these guys. he’s watching. Waiting. Advising
- when the whole act of grace shit happens, Aziraphale’s like FUCK IT and before ed can proclaim it he just snaps all of the enemies to sleep. he’s sheepish about it. everyone freaks the fuuccckkkkkkkk out even tho he saved them and shit Happens. it probably results in someone clubbing him over the head in panic and then Everyone Else Panics More. I can see it in my mind. this changes a lot of things canon on. ough
- munity is either much more prevalent or tampered down a lot. no in between. either mutinies left and right or they’re content. hm
okay that’s really it. Back To Writing Hell

I just wanted to show you these guys. As evident, I never finished the page, but still
So these are two characters I made around January last year, named Felix and Helix (Felix is the left, Helix the right)
They’re identical twins, if you couldn’t tell
I got the names from a book I read a long time ago, though I don’t remember much about it. What I do remember is that the main character’s name was Felix and he got transported to another world, and in this world, people kept thinking his name was Helix, I think because that’s a more common name there and “Felix” was just odd. I thought the names worked because of the twin thing, so I used them here
They’re supposed to be based on birds, I think ravens, though as is probably clear, they aren’t the most accurate depictions of bird people, such as the lack of wings. But I kind of like how they look here. The red sketch was from me afterwards trying to figure out their anatomy for future reference (also the dot eyes was a reference to the fact that I was initially planning on Felix having dot eyes, while Helix had normal, but eventually I decided against it since they’re supposed to be identical)
The expressions you see on the page were supposed to be me trying to figure out some expressions for them for practice, the top right being Felix and the bottom left being Helix. As you can see, I never got around to Helix’s. They were supposed to be more indicative of their personalities, like these were expressions they’d reasonably make
I’ll explain the weird pictures in a bit
So why don’t I talk about the characters themselves? So as listed, Felix and Helix are twin brothers, and they’re both magic users. They were from an RPG idea I had that admittedly I don’t really have other ideas for other than these two. I think the pitch was “RPG where every character was an animal” but I’m not sure. Anyways, back to them, so Felix is the main character you’d play in the game, and he’s basically the mage of the group (it’s an RPG with a party), as you can probably imagine. Felix is an absolute sweetheart with a love of magic, always wanting to learn and always willing to do the right thing, hence why he decides to help take on the evil force plaguing the land or whatever. Oh, also another thing I should mention, Felix doesn’t talk, he’s a mute protagonist, though Helix can talk perfectly fine, and technically, so can Felix, he just doesn’t for reasons. Helix on the other hand is one of the antagonists, for reasons I’ll explain in a bit. However, he does eventually become the final party member, but again, we’ll talk about that in a second. He’s not as open and a bit more socially awkward than his brother, and he’s not that great with people, his only real friend growing up being his brother. He also gets flustered easily, but he doesn’t want people knowing that. I feel like he’s your typical “edgier foil to the goofball main character” sort of guy. Though he’s not inherently a bad person, he will go to great lengths if he feels the ends justify it, something Felix doesn’t agree with. Also he can be a bit of an ass sometimes, particularly to strangers or people he inherently doesn’t like. But another thing to mention is that their brotherly bond is very strong, or at least it used to be, with both of them loving each other and doing whatever they feel it takes for the other
So we’d first meet Helix relatively early on in the game, though not at the very beginning. If this were like a 15-20 chapter game, he’d first show up around Chapter 4. Or I suppose another good comparison for time would be like, an area soon after leaving Midgar in Final Fantasy 7. Anyways so basically the party goes to a town, and there, everyone seems to already know Felix, despite him never having been here, and they may not be too fond of him. The rest of the party questions why this is, assuming perhaps it’s an impostor trying to steal Felix’s identity for selfish reasons and/or tarnish his name, though Felix already has an idea of what’s going on. Sure enough, with enough investigating, they find this “impostor”, only for them to learn that this guy isn’t pretending to be him, rather it’s Felix’s identical twin brother. There’s clearly tension between the two but neither really go into it, as Helix is kind of vague about it (since Felix already knows the details), and Felix just doesn’t want to talk about it. We fight Helix, defeat him, and then he flees, with Felix hesitant to see him go, but has to accept it nonetheless. At this point it’s not entirely clear that Helix is part of the villain group, but we learn it in later encounters, with Felix pretty appalled at this, with Helix angrily explaining he had to for Felix’s sake, again to the confusion of the party. Throughout their encounters their conflict gets more heated, up until late in the game when Felix starts to get through to Helix, and he starts having second thoughts. Either that or Helix learns what the villain promised him wasn’t what it was, or he’s starting to think that the actions they’re taking aren’t really worth it, and his sense of morality is kicking in
So the main conflict between these two has to do with Felix. When they were young, they were both just regular kids, with Felix talking perfectly normal just like his brother, but one day something happened to Felix, and afterwards he just suddenly stopped talking, to the confusion of his parents and brother. He never seemed bothered by this, but it was odd to the rest of them. As they grew older, it was clear something odd was going on with Felix, and Helix grew increasingly concerned. While I never fully fleshed out what this “thing” was, the idea I think I had was that young Felix made some sort of deal with this eldritch entity, and they now share the same body. Felix doesn’t talk because talking had something to do with the demonic being, like letting it out. Felix is the only one with all the details of what exactly went down, and he’s always seemed perfectly fine with it, but Helix is afraid of it and what it’ll do to his brother. While he’s never seen it himself, he knows that when Felix gets angry enough, he turns into this eldritch horror being and when talking to the people affected (typically they were other kids their age), they were legitimately terrified of him. Also, as you can likely guess, those sketches I haven’t elaborated on are supposed to be ideas for that form. In Helix’s eyes, Felix was most likely cursed, and is potentially being used as a host for whatever this thing is, and he wants to get rid of it for his own sake. Felix however, disagrees, implying that the deal the two made wasn’t inherently malicious, and neither was the creature/curse. Helix however, doesn’t listen, thinking the thing is manipulating him into thinking that way, and becomes increasingly determined to stop it. This all came to a head a few years before the main story starts, with a big argument that caused Helix to leave and go off on his own, having never returned since (oh I should probably mention how they argue. Basically the idea is that while yes, Felix doesn’t talk, Helix knows him well enough that he can tell what each expression he makes means, essentially letting him “talk”, at least in that sense. Felix is a very expressive person). Felix regrets the argument, but he didn’t know where Helix went and knows he can be hard to stop, so he’s just been waiting for Helix to come back on his own so they can make up. Meanwhile Helix joined the evil team because the leader promised him a way to get rid of his brother’s curse, so long as he followed their teachings and did their bidding, and Helix agreed
Oh, another thing I should mention (which I probably should have mentioned earlier but saved for here for dramatic effect), Felix is the older twin, while Helix is the younger. I know that doesn’t change much about their ages, but it does have some effect on their dynamic, at least for them
As for the curse itself, while there are some references to it and it does occasionally somewhat manifest itself, such as in that death glare Felix has, we’re not privy to what exactly it is or what it does, at least not until the final stretch of the game
Speaking of which, so at the end of the game, when getting to the final boss area (probably a castle), we see Helix having a change of heart, whether because he had come to the realization this wasn’t worth it or he learned his boss wasn’t going to help him cure his brother, but rather use his curse for their own purposes, and he decides to try and stage a coup of his own, trying to stop the villain, only to fail horribly as he gets caught, and the others refer to a punishment, but we cut away before we see what. Then later on, once the heroes show up to the castle and to a certain area with large pits with seemingly no bottom, they see Helix bloodied and beaten on the floor, and Felix, in distress, tries to go to him, only to be stopped by the main villain who reveals themselves to the heroes and probably monologues about their plans or something (as is clear, I never really thought much about the main villain). Then, in a moment where Felix is pleading for his brother’s safety, possibly even trying to strike a bargain with the villain, the villain decides against it and instead strikes Helix potentially fatally, with him letting out a scream in agony, and then tossed away into the pits, seemingly to his death. Seeing his brother presumably die in front of him invokes a rage and despair unlike any Felix has ever felt, and for the first time in game, we hear him speak, and he turns into his eldritch form, though much bigger than any he has before, going completely feral (we also later find out the reason Helix has never seen Felix’s form is because when they were younger, he was relentlessly bullied which sometimes led to him getting knocked unconscious, especially as he’s not particularly physically strong, and upon seeing this Felix would go into rage mode). As we enter a fight with the boss, “Felix” attacks with his magic (as the creature is a magical beast, not so much a physical attacker), and it now has no magic limits and does tons of damage, it also damages the other party members as well, as “Felix” has no restraint and is just going ballistic. The battle ends once the rest of the party is down, and as we see in the cutscenes, his attacks go so wild that he ends up causing the other party members to fall into the pits too, destroying the area around them
We would then follow the party as they’re in the pits, which do in fact have a bottom, even if everything is complete darkness. As they walk around, they find Helix, who is miraculously still alive, but is only barely holding on. While the rest of the party don’t really like Helix (he’s been kind of a jerk to them and was also part of the evil team), the altercation they had above told them that he had at least tried to turn over a new leaf, and they know he’s probably their best shot at getting Felix to calm down, so they have their healer heal him. He tells them all of what he knows of Felix’s curse, explaining how he had just wanted his brother to be safe, but he thinks he was a fool for trusting the villain. He’s fully aware the party doesn’t like him, and expects them to leave him down there to rot, but they (reluctantly) take him with him, and he agrees to help them stop the villain and calm down Felix, and Helix becomes the final party member. How the rest of the story goes, I’m not sure, but the two brothers do end up reconciling at the end
So that’s about it for the story of them. Oh, but maybe I should also mention how their skill systems are supposed to work, since it’s relevant to the whole “game” part and I just thought it was interesting
Okay, so Felix and Helix are magic users, and they cast spells by reading from tomes. When you start the game, Felix has your typical fire, ice and lightning spells. But throughout the game (probably by finding them in the areas and not by purchasing them), you can find other tomes, and they give you different spells. For example, Felix might find a tome with wind spells, and he can equip it. However, he can only use the spells from the tome he has equipped, so it’s not necessarily just a case of “get new tome with better stats”, it depends on what spells you want to use. I’m not sure if this applies to just him since he’s the magic user or if it should apply to the whole party, but I feel like having all the characters being able to equip weapons where each one gives you certain abilities you can use and having to figure out which one to best use in which situation could be an interesting system. Now for Helix, while he uses magic tomes like Felix, due to his dark ties, he only uses dark magic spells, though I’m not sure how much variety you’d get out of his equipment, given you get him in the final area, though admittedly that area could be long, so there might be more tomes for him. Also not sure if he should be able to use Felix’s tomes, as you’d eventually be able to use both, and I don’t just want two of the same character. I dunno
Oh yeah, another random tidbit pertaining to dark magic, but Helix now has a transformation ability of his own that he gained during his time with the evil team, namely that he can transform his cloak into a pair of wings to fly with. We see it before this part in the game, but I thought I shouldn’t mention it before his powers. It definitely shocks Felix when he sees it
But yeah, that’s Felix and Helix. I know people usually come for my Cookie Run stuff, so this probably won’t be looked at that much, but I do like these two and was reminded of them today, and I just wanted to share them with you

The Supernaturals: Jürgen Klopp
Did I get carried away while writing this? Yes.
Am I sorry? No.
@alissonbecksfan234,@moomin279, @millythegoat, @rubybecker-rb2 this is more than a little angsty...🖤
He could talk to the dead.
As a young boy, Jürgen Klopp was a very cheerful and affectionate child. He hardly went an hour without hugging somebody...or talking to them. Even football was a passionate affair to him.
It was clear to all around him that young Jürgen just loved life in itself. He loved things that were alive. Stuttgart and the Black Forest were always alive. Every single moment, there was a bird singing or a river babbling or wind whistling through one's hair. Jürgen's life was lively and bubbly and passionate, just like him.
So it came as a huge surprise when Jürgen woke up at 3:00 AM to hear the voices of a family who'd died in a car accident a month before. At first the twelve year old had thought he'd been hearing things--he did have an overactive imagination, after all. But then he'd knocked over a bouquet of daisies while thinking about the voices, and the ghosts of the family appeared right in front of him.
He'd screamed, running away, only to trip down the stairs for the first time in his life. It surely wasn't the last time he tripped down the stairs...or heard the voices.
Jürgen had asked his mother about all the voices he heard while she cleaned the scrapes on his knee with hydrogen peroxide. It turned out that he was a Supernatural, and the Klopp matriarch herself was an Old Master--a holder of magical knowledge and powerful spells.
Jürgen was a necromancer--and he hated it. He loved life, and his power dealt with talking to the dead? No thank you. He hated spirits, he hated death and dying, he hated morbid, sorrowful stuff.
The spirits kept him awake at night and distracted him in the day. Whenever Jürgen tried to talk to them, they would launch into depressing, frightening stories of turmoil and family drama and even suicide. The stories would weigh down on Jürgen's mind, sobering him a great deal. So just three months after first discovering his power, Jürgen decided to stop talking to the spirits.
He now wore his restriction bracelet all the time. He didn't want to talk to spirits. He wanted to live.
And so he lived. He grew up and left the Black Forest, choosing to continue his footballing career in Mainz. He ended up staying there for the rest of his playing career. Just a mere two years after he moved there, he bonded with Željko Buvač, their new Bosnian recruit.
Klopp, as he was known now, hadn't told Buvač about his powers. He didn't like to talk about his necromancy; it crept him out. Buvač had talked to him about his power--invisibility--and that was fine with Klopp. At that point, any power in the world seemed better than the curse of talking with the dead.
Football was a welcome distraction from his powers. Klopp went from striker to defender--quite a surprise for him, but he soon adjusted well. He'd scored superb, fortunate and downright crazy goals, all accompanied by celebrations of the same nature.
Sometimes Klopp would inspect himself in the mirror, seeing if he'd grown into the predestined supernatural role of "creepy necromancer sorcerer". Every time he saw a young man with wild blond hair and vivid blue eyes who looked as if he'd just burst in from a morning jog or hectic meeting. Nothing about him looked suspicious or hermit-like...nothing at all. He had the unbridled passion and energy of his father; and the easygoing, relaxed, friendly nature of his mother.
In 1998, Klopp tasted heartbreak for the first time in his thirty-one year life. His father died from liver cancer, and now the man in the mirror was reversed.
His previously rampant and wild spirits were still, and the spark in his eyes had gone. Every time Klopp looked in the mirror, he could only see his father staring back at him.
The spirits grew stronger than ever after that, infiltrating his mind if his bracelet was even partially hanging off of him. Klopp tried to talk with his father's spirit once, but it was too painful. He'd shut down for days, and it took Buvač's patient coaxing and encouragement to get him back to himself.
After that, Klopp didn't try to talk with the spirits for a long time. The conflicting images were the least of his problems--it was the endless pain that conversing with the dead brought him.
Three years after Klopp swore off necromancy, he hung up his boots and decided to try his hand at managing. He'd already made a name for himself as a Mainz player; to him, he had nothing to lose as a manager.
Well, it turned out that he had everything to gain. Klopp was a far better coach than player, having a better mental skill set than physical. Together, Klopp and Buvač, who'd come along as his assistant coach, brought Mainz to the Bundesliga for the first time in forever.
There were so many real voices and people in Mainz that Klopp felt alive again. Buvač handled statistics and tactics, leaving Klopp to handle the team--not just as players, but as young men. Klopp had been young once, after all, and so he empathized with each of the players like few others could. Eventually, the Mainz players gave their two managers nicknames: Buvač was "The Brain" while Klopp was "The Heart".
Klopp had to admit that the name suited him. He had a mind for tactics in certain ways, but he was far more comfortable with the man management and emotional aspect of coaching than the numbers--that was Buvač's specialty. Needless to say, Klopp and Buvač made a great team--which pertained with their move to Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund, with their yellow and black kits and rich history, were a different situation for Klopp, who'd come fresh from a traditionally second-division club. After establishing the basics, the team grew hungry for a different mission: Champions' League glory. They came agonizingly close, just losing out in the final, but Klopp was an important part in Dortmund's two marches to Bundesliga victory over a money-loaded Bayern.
Klopp grew closer to his players like he never had before. They liked him, and he liked them. The players in Mainz had only been slightly younger than him--more like brothers--but the Dortmund players were young enough to be his children. And so they became die jungen, the boys.
After much success and the usual amount of failure, Klopp left in 2015. Just that summer, he received a call-up from Liverpool. As usual, his whole coaching team accompanied him. They were his good friends, and Buvač in particular was the brother he'd never had.
Upon stepping into Melwood, Klopp could tell something was different. He didn't know if it was the British weather or the fact that he was in a new country, but the training ground just felt...special. That was when he learned (from other managers and his own players) that England had a complicated Supernatural network, too.
It was chaos. Milner could lift an eighteen-wheeler, Coutinho had telekinesis, and Henderson could talk to the spirits of sea animals. Klopp found the latter power especially interesting, since that technically meant Henderson was also a necromancer. The young captain didn't have the haunted look that Buvač said Klopp had carried around after his last attempt to talk with the spirits seventeen years ago. Klopp guessed it was because sea animals didn't have the same problems humans did--also, Henderson hadn't really grown up around the ocean.
Klopp felt an even stronger magnetism towards his players this time around. There was something about Firmino's bright smile, or Coutinho's sweet habit of removing dangers with his telekinesis before they could hurt anybody, or the way Milner muscled people around to protect them; that something made his heart swell so much, he felt it would burst with happiness. He loved the warmth of this team, and the passion.
In 2018 Buvač left, much to Klopp's disappointment. He would miss coaching with the Bosnian by his side, whispering tactics and old jokes as the match played out in front of him. He would miss the man that he now considered his older brother.
The new assistant manager--Klopp would never call him a replacement--was a young Dutchman in his thirties by the name of Pep Lijnders. His youthful spirit eventually won Klopp over, who'd been slightly sulky about Buvač's departure. They became a new dynamic duo, recruiting more players and going further than ever before. Trophies rained down on Liverpool: a Champions' League (hell yes!) one year, a Super League and Club World Cup title the next.
In early March, just before Liverpool could win the title they'd been racing to for the past seven months, Covid brought the world to a grinding halt, separating Klopp from his whole team and his job. After nearly four months of no football, Liverpool was allowed to continue playing. They wrapped up their first Premier League title with seven games to spare. Things were going so well for Klopp that for the first time in twenty-two years, he considered trying to use his powers again.
But then Liverpool suffered multiple injuries, one after the other, thwarting Klopp's plans so much that he had to focus on altering them, again and again. Somehow, they managed to be top of the table at Christmas for the third year in a row, and Klopp felt like he could actually relax for a few days.
Klopp welcomed 2021 with open arms, as usual. A new year was always full of opportunities and new adventures to experience, full of life and joy. Nineteen days after the whole world rang in the New Year, tragedy struck Klopp once again. His mother, his only living parent for almost twenty-three years, passed away from illness. And due to Covid, he couldn't even attend the funeral.
A small part of him shouted that this was the perfect time to use his powers. But Klopp was too grief-stricken to consider it. He still remembered the last time he'd tried necromancy as vividly as if it was yesterday. And so once again he pushed down his powers, battling them along with his own thoughts and pain.
His internal battle must've had an effect on the team, because Liverpool went on a shocking losing streak, including six straight home defeats for the first time in Klopp's tenure. Many times, when the days were long and arduous and filled with conflict from the media, Klopp would sink into his office chair and consider giving up. He was tired, both of losing and the media.
Then in late February, he'd received a message from Buvač for the first time in months. His old friend had asked him about how he was doing, and specifically noted that he wanted an honest answer. That had been enough to prompt Klopp to spill the inner turmoil of the past month and a half. His brain just wouldn't work, he bemoaned over the phone, and nothing was working out. They were in sharp decline and Klopp just couldn't find out why.
Buvač had been silent for a long while after he said that. Klopp began to worry that Buvač had hung up on him before the older man had answered. And the answer was ridiculously simple.
He didn't coach with his brain at all. He coached with his heart, and right now his heart carried the heavy weight of recent loss. He would have to reach emotional closure, otherwise he would never have peace and Liverpool would never get better.
At first, Klopp vehemently objected. After all, his long-reaching and diverse memory still bore the scars of when he'd got his power.
But then he'd stepped onto the pitch to conduct the training session, and he'd taken a good, hard look at his boys. At Henderson, who'd come so far since he'd first filled the giant footsteps of Steven Gerrard. At Milner, one of his oldest and most reliable players. At Alisson, who was wrestling with his own grief. Every one of them gathered in a circle around Klopp, waiting for his instructions. That's when Klopp realized that he wasn't the only one he was doing this for. He was doing this for all of them--the players, the staff and every single person associated with Liverpool FC.
That night, Klopp removed his restriction bracelet for the first time in twenty-three long, rollercoaster-riding years. Instead of being vague and afraid of his powers like he'd always done, Klopp tried to be more deliberate.
Remembering the incident with the daisies, he scattered the petals of daisies and blue irises, his mother's favorite flowers, around him in a circle. He closed his eyes and pictured her, smiling at her only son with open arms and twinkling eyes not dissimilar to his. And when he opened them, that was exactly what he did see.
The rest was instinctive from there. It helped that his mom's ghost was visible instead of just in his mind, so he could actually talk with her. After two long hours of discussion, it was time to stop. But this time, as the spirits faded away and disappeared, Klopp felt strangely peaceful, as if something that had weighed down on him fled his heart, leaving it free.
Klopp woke up the next morning slightly tired from the reduced sleep, but feeling better than he had in six weeks. Somehow the others could sense his changed state of mind. They all flocked to him as soon as he came in through the cafeteria door, wrapping him in a forty-person group hug.
Liverpool passed the rest of the season with flying colors, finishing third in an epic final-day battle. Klopp saluted the Anfield crowd with a broad grin, his fist pumps in perfect sync with their roars. He'd missed them...and now that he didn't fear his powers anymore, he wouldn't have to miss anybody ever again.

For my request, can you write IzuOchaTenya in an Aladdin AU please? I imagine Ochako as a princess who's holding a royal ball and Izuku, a street rat, disguises himself as a royal to spend time with her. But he also comes into contact with visiting Prince Tenya which leads to the three of them getting closer together while in the palace. What do you think?
Royal balls and loving bonds
(IzuOchaTenya)
“Your majesty, the ball is almost prepared, would you like to open the doors for the people?” The servant said.
Uraraka closes her hand mirror shut side eyeing the servant from afar
“yes open the doors, and make sure everything is perfect, this is my grand ball after all and it needs to be the talk of the year.”
she says getting up from her bed.
“Yes your majesty, as you wish” the door closes with a bang and the room goes silent.
In the kingdom of U.A princess ochako was holding a ball for all the people of the country and the neighboring lands.
She was well known for her grand balls and kind gestures. she held these balls for everyone to have a magical time.
she had all the pamphlets sprinkled around the kingdom, being dropped by messenger birds and being delivered personally by rajah (her pet tiger)
The streets were vibrant with chatter and excitement about the ball but deep down in those streets there was a young street rat named izuku.
Izuku never cared for royal balls but that one night when he met Uraraka it changed his whole life.
Ever since that day izuku would dream about saving the princess on loop.
It was like it was stuck on repeat never to disappear from his mind, and that made him long for her even more.
Izuku dreamed of going to the balls held by the young maiden and dancing about with her all night long but due to his status, it was nothing but a silly dream.
As lzuku stumbles throughout streets, he found a suspicious cave. Growing curious he goes down further and until he finds the cave filled with gold.
Desperately thinking this would change his status he stuffs the gold into his pockets until he finds a lamp.
Being drawn to the lamp he picks it up and rubs it
The genie pops out explaining the rules to the street rat. “I wish to be a prince” izuku says to the genie, the genie makes his wish come try and lzukus clothes are transformed into that of a royal.
With his newfound appearance, he entered the grand palace without a hint of disapproval and blending effortlessly into the crowd.
His heart raced with excitement and nervousness as he was looking for the princess.
In the midst of the glittering ballroom wandering around Izuku's eyes met Ochako's, he felt his heart jump seeing the beautiful princess.
She seemed more radiant than ever, her smile captivating everyone around her.
As izuku started to approach her, he bumped into Prince Tenya a visitor from a neighboring kingdom.
“Excuse me! Who exactly are you-“
Tenya turns to izuku, Tenya directly faces
izuku and raises his eyebrow at izuku
“I never seen your face before.. what kingdom
are you from?”
“The kingdom of shiketsu”
Izuku says, scared that he will be uncovered
Tenya’s face lights up and continues
“Oh! Then you must know my friend ___ we go wayy back, if you do can you tell him I said hi? I haven’t seen him at the ball all night but I’m pretty sure-“
“I’m sorry but I’m in such a hurry, let’s continue this conversation another time”
Izuku bolts from Tenya trying to find uraraka desperately.
Still thinking to himself, he found himself drawn to the prince he had bumped into.
There was something about the prince's earnest demeanor and the way he spoke of his friend that peaked Izuku's interest, maybe it was beginning of something new.
In the midst of his contemplation, fate intervened once again.
At the end of the 3 hallways they all stood at, there it was standing before him, both Princess Ochako and Prince Tenya, Their eyes widened in surprise as they locked gazes with Izuku, their chance meeting bringing them together once more.
Izuku's heart raced as he stood before them, his disguise concealing his true identity.
For a moment, time seemed to stand still, the grandeur of the palace fading into the background as the three of them shared a profound connection.
Breaking the silence, Princess Ochako smiled warmly at Izuku. "Ah, it seems fate has a way of bringing us together, doesn't it?"
she said her voice filled with a mixture of excitement and intrigue.
“Would you like to introduce yourself stranger?”
Izuku's heart skipped a beat, but he maintained his composure, bowing before the princess.
“Your Highness, I am Prince Izuku, a visitor from the Kingdom of Shiketsu," he replied careful to maintain his disguise.
“It is an honor to be in your presence and to attend such a magnificent ball."
Prince Tenya's gaze shifted between the princess and the disguised street rat. "Ah yes I just saw you.. how fascinating," he remarked, a glimmer of interest shining in his eyes.
“I must say, you certainly caught my attention by bumping into me and leaving in such a hurry Prince Izuku.
Perhaps we can exchange stories and learn more about one another since that is the proper way of course.
Princess Ochako's smile widened, sensing the connection forming between the two men.
"Indeed, it would be wonderful to get to know you better Prince Izuku since I have already met and spoken to Tenya.” she said, her voice filled with genuine excitement.
Izukus manner shifts from nervous to calm as he examines the two.
"I would be honored to exchange stories and get to know both of you better," Izuku replied, his voice steady and filled with genuine enthusiasm. "
As the three of them deepen themselves into conversation, the grand ball continued to unfold around them.
The symphony of music, the elegant dance of the guests, and the shimmering lights created a magical ambiance creates a sense of beautiful artwork above the balcony they found themselves standing at.
Izuku found himself immersed in the warmth of their company, feeling a sense of belonging he had never experienced before.
Throughout the night, they shared stories of their kingdoms, dreams, and aspirations.
They laughed, danced and discovered shared passions and interests.
Izuku's disguise became secondary as he was struck with genuine connection he had formed with Princess Ochako and Prince Tenya.
The barriers of social status seemed to fade away, leaving only the essence of their personalities and the magic of their shared moments.
As the grand ball reached its peak, Princess Ochako took Izuku's hand and Prince Tenya joined them.
They swirled together in a graceful dance, their steps perfectly synchronized and their spirits intertwined.
In that moment, they became a trio of kindred souls bonded by fate and driven by a desire for genuine connection.
Their paths would intertwine further, and their bonds would be tested by unforeseen challenges.
But for now on this day of the royal ball hosted by princess Ochako, they discovered that destiny could be an interesting and strange thing.

Resa and Cockerell?
Resa: When did you first read Inkheart?
I got the book for my 10th birthday and I think I started properly reading it a few months later? Maybe a year? I remember that it spent a long while just sitting next to my bed and I'd just reread the first few pages. My cat really liked to sit on it. :D Eventually I sat down to really focus on it and immediately became obsessed.
Cockerell: What are your hopes for the 4th Inkworld book?
Oh Man. Okay.
Generelly speaking, I hope it opens the Inkworld up a little more without feeling like Reckless Light™. I know Cornelia is really excited about drawing connections between the books and that's fair, but, to me at least, the two stories still feel very distinct. And I hope TCoR fits in with the other three Inkworld books instead of trying to be a hybrid. For example, if some plot point is resolved with the help of Magical Fairytale Item #72, I'm gonna be less than happy.
I also hope it doesn't introduce too many entirely new characters. There should be some, obviously, but the comments Cornelia made about how new people keep showing up in the story made me a little nervous... We already know and love so many players in this world, I want the focus to be on them. That said, I really love the whole witch thing and Jehan's friend sounds adorable, I DO want to know more about her! Just, give me a few chapters about Dustfinger and the Prince and their whole history. With everyone else fridged for the time being, those two should get some quality time together. :')
Speaking of Dustfinger, I am. torn.
Part of me wants him to murder Orpheus. Just straight up kill him.
On the other hand, though... It would feel weird. For all these years, he's been such a pacifist at heart, I wouldn't want him to deal with the emotional aftermath of what he's done. Because despite everything, I don't think he could just walk away from that. Remember when he killed Basta that second time? That scene, short as it is, doesn't feel violent at all. More like doing an old enemy a favor. And I love that moment but something like that wouldn't make sense with Orpheus... Maybe they end up in a situation where killing him would be the kind thing to do, and Dustfinger doesn't? I don't know... Either way, I'm looking forward to the inevitable confronation of these two.
Basically: Dustfinger can kill if he wants to. I'll support him no matter what. <3
Wow I need to shut up. Some more hopes of mine, lightning round:
Brianna content, specifically Brianna-finally-bonding-with-her-father-content (yes I'm still emotional about that wristband she made him)
We meet the Black Prince's younger sisters
The Barn Owl shows up or is at least mentioned
Some kind of throwback to Capricorn and his men, idc what exactly I just want them mentioned
Witch lore. I wanna know all about them.
At least one of the new characters is another Bird Person
Proper love interest for Violante (not the Black Prince, I don't think they'd work out in the long run (although they do make a pretty intense power couple.) (Also Brianna is literally right there-)
Gwin bites the shit out of someone and is also immortal
The Prince's bear bites the shit out of someone and is also immortal
"Orpheus' evil plan fails because Balbulus is racist" plot point stays, that shit is so funny to me
Cornelia really leans into the whole 'Illustration as magic' theme, esp in contrast to 'Writing/reading as magic' as we had it in the previous books
Mo does not fully go back to his Bluejay persona and people who were there for the events of Inkdeath but don't really know him are super confused about why he won't just kill his enemies
Resa however...
Thank you for the questions! :)

hehehe I got big brains thoughts but will write em? out the answer is NO.
write a fictional story of bojack horseman meeting the penguins of madagascar ChatGPT
Bojack Horseman, the famous Hollywood actor, was feeling lost and disconnected. He had hit rock bottom and decided to take a break from the glitz and glamour of show business. He boarded a plane to Antarctica, hoping to find some peace and solitude. As the plane landed, he was greeted by a group of penguins, led by Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private.
"Welcome to Antarctica," Skipper said, "I am Skipper, and these are my fellow penguins, Kowalski, Rico, and Private. We are the elite team of the Central Park Zoo."
Bojack was surprised to see talking penguins. "What the hell is going on?" he muttered to himself.
"We heard you needed some help, buddy," Kowalski said. "We are here to assist you."
Bojack looked at the penguins skeptically. "How could you possibly help me? You are just a bunch of penguins."
"Excuse me, we are not just any penguins," Skipper replied. "We are the penguins of Madagascar, and we are experts in espionage, sabotage, and intelligence gathering."
Bojack was amused. "You are joking, right? What could a group of penguins possibly do for me?"
"Trust us, Bojack," Private said. "We have seen it all. We can help you find your way back to happiness."
Bojack didn't know what to say. He was surprised by the penguins' confidence and determination. He decided to take a chance and follow them.
As they walked through the snowy landscape, the penguins shared their stories of adventure and danger. They had fought against the villainous Dr. Blowhole, saved the world from a giant robot, and even traveled through time.
Bojack was impressed. "You guys are amazing," he said. "I had no idea penguins could be so heroic."
The penguins smiled. "We do what we can," Skipper replied.
They arrived at a secluded ice cave, where the penguins had set up a makeshift headquarters. Inside, they had a full arsenal of weapons, gadgets, and technology.
"Welcome to our lair," Kowalski said. "This is where the magic happens."
Over the next few days, Bojack worked with the penguins to develop a plan to find his way back to happiness. They taught him how to be resourceful, how to think on his feet, and how to face his fears.
Bojack was amazed by their resilience and determination. He realized that he had a lot to learn from these tiny birds.
In the end, Bojack found his way back to Hollywood, but he never forgot the lessons he learned from the penguins of Madagascar. He continued to visit them from time to time, sharing his own stories of adventure and heroism.
Together, they had formed an unlikely bond, one that had helped Bojack find his way back to happiness and hope.

So lately I’ve gotten into Batman again and I’ve been inspired. So Batman 22 is obviously getting another movie and I need a robin for him and then it hit me Jason Todd.
Okay full disclosure jason is my favorite and I adore him, but I also fell like he would be the perfect robin to this b.
Jason Todd is a character marked by tragedy. Robin Jason can be summed up as a bright kid going through hell and coming through irrevocably changed. Broody and awkward b needs the blunt good and protective innocence of robin Jason, this kid showed up like a hurricane but really bonded with b and robin is magic! But his story also has the darkness that would really suit this b. First act found family second death of the family (maybe Tim into/ cameo), sequel red hood comes to Gotham
Also this is a good tie in for the stupid joker end credit thing they did, joker is here and he has a plan for the newest bird
Dick of course is first robin and iconic and lovely but when I think of his robin run I think of how angry he was. I could right a whole dissertation analyzing the first two robins and anger( dick is the really angry one, Jason may be more emotional but it took the pit to bring that anger out and amplify it, and even then his following plan for Gotham is just that a plan, it’s methodical and well thought out, his anger acting up gets in the way of the plan as a whole. Jason being an angey kid would be justified but at heart he is not. My lovely Grayson on the other hand… he beat the joker to death and admitted he enjoyed it.) yes he has his fun quips etc but Jason brings the right balance in and much like the movie finally not doing the origin story they could jump into a lesser told story plus I want a good Jason adaptation please and thank you.
So what made me think of this was how I picture the intro of this hypothetical movie going.
The black screen focuses in on a street we have all seen way too many time on film before. It’s raining on crime alley and the scene reflects the gloom of Gotham. Camera pans around showing cinematography etc (some good old misdirection you might think we’re getting an origin flashback but sike no) before it focuses on a parked car with a small figure next to it taking of the tires, we see an ominous shadow approach the kid and stand over him
Bam title screen
Cut back in and the kid is holding a tire iron facing him and b is staring him down then the meeting continues as it goes in the comic, argument over stolen tires, b is hit, ends with a small child being taken back to the manor.
I also want nightwing to be in the movie because this is my movie fantasy and I’m trying to set the stage for batfamily. So there was a time skip: b is older but not wiser, he’s getting into a lot of fights with his rebellious oldest who’s currently finding himself in the town next door, and now he gets the company of Jason to bring him up to only break him into little pieces a few acts later. Batman and robin can go on some fun crime fighting things. Like I want full camp here gimme the costumes and the fun villains. All of this continues to build up the fun being contrasted with the family issues and an unexplainable Erie feeling creeping in. I want to start in sunshine and rainbow Gotham and for it to gradually go darker. But like cleverly, it should be unnoticeable until b grounds robin. Then it should be like a realization like oh no somethings changed. All those film/ story death flags?? Use all of them, I want constant subtle reminders during the entire thing that this kid is going to die. Things you’ll only notice if you’re really looking and know what’s coming. I want this to be a rewatch thing like after seeing the whole thing when you go back and rewatch you notice all the signs and it make it so much better not so much more heartbreaking.
The climax of course will be the explosion pattinson needs to use those acting skills dammit I want to see the grief and brokenness of a grieving father real time. Also I want him to cry and destroy the alpha male men don’t cry power fantasy Batman has become for the incels.
After that we cut back to Gotham where Batman is darker, he’s pulling his punches less, staying out later, Alfred is worried but he’s also grieving, n is going through it next door, shown montage style or like flipping though news headlines, when one morning a small black haired boy is making his was up to the manor envelope in hand camera around his neck and argument on the top of his tongue.

Meeting a dragon rider
Ashton
Doesn't really care about the fairytales from your far away continent, and the legends of how you are bound to your dragon. He just thinks it's one of the most interesting things to walk into town in years. Asks you cheekily if you skip around with it on a leash, and he receives a bored 'are-you-kidding-me' look from your scaly familiar.
Ashton can relate to the beast's lazy personality when not engaged in battle. It's tough work being tough, both for barbarians and for dragons. The world can wait - however, a fifteen hour nap cannot. The odd time you're on watch with Ashton, they fall asleep halfway through with your dragon cuddled up into his side.
Almost cat-like, it has chased Fresh Cut Grass around in the street a few times. Ashton finds this so amusing, and tells you that they have no regrets whatsoever of meeting you. You and your pet are breaths of fresh air in his life, and he doesn't want you to scurry off any time soon. Low key thinks being able to tame a dragon is hot.
Imogen
Curious about the bond you share with the dragon - it's psychic in nature, but the link between you in fleshed out in a powerful magic she's never come across before.
Hesitant to touch the creature itself, but respects its presence nonetheless. She gets quite flustered when you insist she pets the scaly head of your pet, even more so when you grab her hand and show her the dragon won't bring her harm. She will let out a nervous giggle when it huffs a puff of smoke out of its nostrils in contentedness.
Imogen is familiar with different origins of magic, and she asks you if you know if your people come from a draconic bloodline of sorcerers. This sparks a whole conversation about your family and homeland, and a mutual fascination with her background as a magic user. As you talk, your dragon sleepily rests its heavy head on her boot, and Imogen ends up repressing the excited squeal that's building up in her throat.
Laudna
Heart eyes. Has immediately fallen in love with your familiar. Gets down on her knees, and ignores your presence altogether when you first meet. She coos to the to the dragon as if it were a puppy, her tone of voice very similar to what people use when talking to babies. Asks for permission to pet it and give it a kiss on the snoot.
Loves the fact that it doesn't view her as 'scary-scary.' Pets don't judge as harshly as the average person, and she gets on quite well with the saddled creature. Likes that the attention received when you are on the road together is evenly divided between her spooky aesthetic and your unusual companion.
Asks all about your travels around Exandria from a bird's eye view* (*dragon's eye view?). She finds it so exotic compared to Tal'Dorei and Marquet, so full of life and with dragon riders such as yourself roaming the land. For now, she will decline a ride in the back seat but maybe another day will suit her better. She's quite happy to watch you have your fun instead, and loves to see you pull tricks when in flight.

Once Upon a Time in…
Storybrooke.
Supercorp, Kara Danvers x Daughter!Reader, Lena Luthor x Daughter!Reader, Emma Swan x Reader, Regina Mills x Reader, Snow White x Reader, Prince Charming x Reader.
Word Count: 2900.
Previously on the series - Neverland, Camelot
“So we’re back at square one.” You sigh, looking at Henry, while he is reading his enormous book.
“Not entirely true. We know that we have to lift the curse so you can leave, and that we have to do it fast before you become a character of the book.” He says, without raising his head at you. You’re almost arguing when a plate with at least 20 pancakes is placed before you. That stops your mind mid-rant.
“Thanks, Granny.” You smile at her, who smiles back before leaving. “Except that we don’t know who cursed the town, so I might as well embrace my fate of being a fairytale character right now and forever.”
“You know, there is another way.” He finally looks at you and you encourage him with an eyebrow raise. “Too risky and honestly? I don’t even know if they would agree to it…”
“Would you go on with it already? No need to build up the climax, we’re already past that.”
“Another curse.” Henry says and you furrow your brows. Having two curses surely doesn’t sound like the solution. “A liftable curse, of course.”
You just blink at him when he doesn’t say anything for a while.
“Ok, what if my mom cursed you into believing you’re a part of the story? You would be written into the book-” You open your mouth to argue. “But it comes from someone who knows and can undo it. So, when the time comes, she lifts the curse and you’re not in the book anymore.”
“Uh.” You think about it for a second. “Sounds like it could work. It would be like if we had a countdown watch and after your mom’s curse it would just pause it.” You say and he nods in agreement.
“The protection spell around town gets lifted and she undoes your curse right after. The countdown restarts but you would be ready to leave.” He finishes your train of thought. “Only thing is whether she will agree to this.”
“Well, we’ve got to try, right? Might be our only hope.” You’re almost out of the booth when you look at the pancakes in front of you. “Give me a minute.”
“Can’t believe you’re thinking about food right now.” Henry rolls his eyes at you.
“Can’t believe you’re not.” You say inhaling the food in front of you in exactly one minute. “Ok, I’m done.”
“This was traumatic to watch.”
You ignore him and you both run out of Granny’s to Regina’s house at the end of the main street. You try to go slower so he doesn’t fall too far behind, but you’re still in front of her house way before he gets there.
“Next time, give me a ride.” He is breathing hard next to you but recovers faster than normal. “Mom? Are you here?”
“In the kitchen, kid!” You hear Emma’s voice, and you follow Henry to it. You find both Regina and Emma making breakfast together. The scene doesn’t fail to bring tears to your eyes. It’s too familiar. “Oh, you guys are together, great!”
“We think we have a, well, it’s not a solution. It’s more like a-” Henry looks at you.
“Band-aid.” You give them a forced smile.
“Let’s hear it.” Regina asks and you and Henry do your best explaining the whole thing. “So I would undo the curse and she’ll leave, huh?”
“I know it’s not ideal but-”
“But it’s pretty good.” Emma says. She comes closer to you, putting a hand on your shoulder. “Are you sure about that, though?”
“No. I know nothing about magic.” You shrug. “If this was science or anything related, I would probably be sure, but this is outside my area of expertise. If you two think it could work, then I trust you to bring me back when it’s time.”
“You should know all magic comes with a price.” Regina adds.
“What’s the price?”
“We’ll learn about it later.” She raises an eyebrow at you. You think of Lena and how you need to go back home to see her eyebrow raise.
“I’ll pay.”
“Well, then hold on to it, kid.” Regina says with a smile. “You’re about to become a fairytale character.”
You and Henry look at each other. As good of an idea this was, you didn’t consider all the outcomes. You’ll become a fairytale character; you won’t remember anything about your actual life. You won’t remember your moms, aunts, cousins, girlfriend, grandmas… You know it’s what you have to do, if you ever want to make it out of this reality and back into yours, but still. Not remembering Jamie’s laugh, Maya’s kisses, Kelly’s comfort, Alex’s shoulder squeezes, Lillian’s head tilt, Eliza’s soft voice, Lena’s green eyes, Kara’s smiles, it almost makes you want to forget about this and find another way.
“Ok, the curse is ready.” Regina says and you look up, coming back from your thoughts.
“Smells funny.”
“I know, sweetheart. It's a curse. It's not meant to be pleasant.” She says, making your heart beat faster on your chest. You hold your necklace strongly in your hands; remember your family one last time. Then close your eyes.
“Yay, food!” You open your eyes and look at your moms on the other side with a stack of pancakes in front of them.
“Hey, leave some for your brother.” Regina says, stopping you before you grab all of the apple pancakes she has made.
“Fine, you can have one, Henry.” You joke, putting just one on his plate from the stack in front of you.
“Be nicer, honey.” Emma kisses the crown of your head, before sitting next to you. You smile, putting two more on his plate.
“There, you’re eating just as much as me now.”
“Listen kids, today Emma and I will be working with Mr. Gold to see if we can lift the protection spell around the city. You two will spend the day with the Charmings.”
“Oh, come on, moms. We’re old enough to help!” Henry says and you agree.
“Of course you are. And we will need your help when the time comes. Just, well, you know how is like to work with Mr. Gold-”
“Always an adventure.” You and Henry say in unison.
“Something like that.” Emma agrees looking like she wanted to disagree, instead. “Besides, I thought you had archery lessons with your grandma today?”
“Yes!” You agree, excitedly.
“And Henry, you will be hanging out with your grandpa at the station, right?” She gets his answer in the form of a nod. “Well, great, we’re all very busy today. But we’re still meeting at Granny’s tonight for dinner, ok?”
“Sure thing, mom.” You get up and kiss her head. “See you guys later, I’m late to meet grandma.” You kiss Regina’s head right after. “Bye, mom. Squirt, wanna a ride?”
“Stop calling me squirt.” Henry complains, getting up from the table. “See you later, moms.” He follows you to the front of the house. “Don’t run so fast, I just ate.”
“You know I only have two speed levels. Fast or breaking the sound barrier.” He jumps on your back and out you go, fast enough to be at the station in a blink of an eye. “See you later!”
It doesn’t take long before you and Snow White are walking in the woods close to the city. You love spending time in the woods with her. You love just sitting in silence and letting your senses become even more refined. Sure, you have super hearing, but she teaches you how to focus even on the simpler things. Leaves in the wind, steps in the woods, birds chirping. There’s no other place you feel as in peace as in the woods with Snow.
“So? How are the woods today?” She asks, hand on your shoulder.
“Was there ever a time where there wasn’t anyone in the woods doing weird stuff?” You ask, making Snow laugh loudly next to you.
“Not in Storybrooke.” Snow agrees with a smile and points a direction for you both to walk.
“How do you want to do this?” You ask, putting your bow into position and closing one eye, looking around.
“Like we shall do everything.” You look at her and she winks at you. “Together.”
You miss the shot. You try again. Your arrow breaks. You try again. You lose your temper. You try yet again.
Day after day. Week after week. Month after month.
‘Together’ is the word to live by.
“Mom, can you help me take control of the panic attacks?” It’s late at night when you ask her that. Regina is happy that you’re asking for her help, and you two sneak into her office while Emma and Henry watch Space Paranoids.
“Remember,” She holds you, before she starts. “These are nightmares I’m putting in your mind. None of them are real. You’re safe and sound at home with us. Say the word and I’ll stop.”
“Ok.”
“But sweetheart, you’ve got to fight it. With all the strength and courage I know you have. Concentrate and fight it.” Regina says, and you nod, closing your eyes.
Your mind is filled with visions. Terrible ones, by the way. You see people dying, by shot guns and swords. It’s a war inside your mind. You know it’s not real, but the feeling is the same. You try to run but your legs feel wobbly and weak, and you fall on your knees. There’s a pool of blood under you and when you look to the side you see Henry with glassy eyes, completely lifeless.
“NOOOO!” Your heart starts beating into your ribcage, as you shake before reaching for him. “Please, please don’t be dead.”
“Concentrate. Focus.”
“HE IS DEAD! IT’S MY FAULT!” You yell, with tears wetting your face.
“It’s not your fault.” Regina says in your ear. “Breathe, sweetheart. Breathe.”
“HENRY! PLEASE COME BACK!”
“What’s going on?” You hear his voice. Regina has already stopped filling your mind with visions, but still you see his glassy eyes staring at you. “Hey, open your eyes. I’m here.”
You see him. But your body is still reacting harshly to the vision. You cry and shake. You’ve failed, but you’re not the one to back down.
Day after day. Week after week. Month after month.
You’ll overcome your fears.
“Hey honey!” Emma wakes you up, with an excited greeting, and you roll to the side not opening your eyes just yet. “I could really use your help with something.”
“What is it?” You mumble, still too sleepy to talk.
“We’ve gotta help Ella. And I thought we could have some mother-daughter bonding time.”
“You’re my mother. Isn’t that enough of a bond?” You ask, as a joke, and you get a chuckle in response.
“Come on. It would be much faster if you could fly around and find her for me. Otherwise I would have to use magic to find a shoe and then more magic to track her, and then-”
“Oh my God, ok. I’ll help.” You get up and get ready in seconds. “I know you just want my help because I’m faster than the Flash.”
“Faster than a flash, honey.” Emma corrects you. “Let’s go!”
So you find Ella, just before her evil stepmother shoots her, and you stand tall in front of her because you’re indestructible, and your mom uses magic to contain her evil stepmother, and it’s just another day in Storybrooke. You know, for a really small town, there’s always something going on in here.
“Saving the town with my kid.” Emma throws her arms around your shoulders with a smile. “What mother could ask for more?”
“I don’t know. Sometimes I think being saved probably doesn’t sound so bad.” You complain, getting a tight squeeze from her.
“Sitting around waiting to be saved, with no idea whether someone’s actually going to come for you-” She sighs, loudly. “Trust me, I know doing all the saving all the time sounds exhausting. But waiting around is-is as bad as it can get, honey.”
“I suppose you’re right.”
Day after day. Week after week. Month after month.
Heroism comes first.
“Are you ready?” Snow asks and you agree excitedly. Bow and arrow ready to shoot. You look at her getting in position. “Together.”
You nod, and you two aim at the same spot. Both of the arrows travel together and land side by side in the middle of the target. You smile, excited. “I feel like the Green Arrow!”
“Who’s that?” Snow asks and you look at her furrowing your brows.
“I-I don’t know.” You think and think about how that name just easily left your mouth. Huh. Weird.
Days. Weeks. Months.
“Here comes the town’ superhero!” Emma says when you walk in the kitchen.
“Here is the town’ savior!” You answer with a smile.
“I could use your help out there today, kid!” She widens her smile.
“Doesn’t this town have enough heroes?” You sit next to her, and she kisses the crown of your head, before placing a plate of hot waffles in front of you.
“But only one is super.” She winks, making you giggle in excitement. You’re convinced right away.
Days. Weeks. Months.
“Focus. Concentrate.” Regina says, close to your ear. And you breathe deep trying to do so.
“It's kind of hard when you're talking in my ear.”
“And when the wind blows, or it's raining, or someone's shooting arrows at you. Yes, concentration's hard. That's the point.” She bumps her shoulder on yours. “Sweetheart, you told me you needed help.”
“And I do.”
“Then let me help.” She runs her fingers through your hair slowly. “The world will always throw disappointments, sorrows and pain on our backs. It’s our job to learn how to handle them. I worked very hard for my first reaction to be as Regina and not as the Evil Queen.”
“I know, mom. You said that a million times.” Your answer makes Regina lose her cool a little. And you smile, apologetic. “I’m sorry, you’re right. I asked for help. I need to know how to handle the pain. Please, I’m ready to go on.”
“Close your eyes.” She asks again and you comply. “Are you ready?” You shake your head in agreement.
You see images. Like a lucid dream in your mind. Regina is using magic to alter what you see. And you see destruction, death everywhere. You see Snow’s head detached from her body, Emma bleeding with a sword on her heart, the only thing left from Charming is his hand, still clinging to his sword.
You should be ready by now. In fact, you should be used to it somehow. It’s not the first time you and Regina do this kind of exercise. But it doesn’t matter how many times you see your family bleeding out, totally lifeless in front of you, every single time, without fail, makes your heart beat faster, your lungs stop working, you shake, you start crying and hyperventilating, ready to destroy everything.
“Focus! No fire from the eyes.” You hear Regina’s voice and you come back to yourself a little bit, just to hold back your first reaction. It’s always the eyes.
“But mom is dead.” You cry out, clenching your fist.
“Concentrate. You can do it.”
You can do it.
You kneel before Snow’s head. Breath in while counting to 3. Hold your breath for 3 seconds. Breath out in the same amount of time. You know this isn’t real. Snow is home, and safe. You’re not in the enchanted forest. Nothing here is real.
You unclench your fist. Steadying your breath. You fight the images. Snow’s head goes back to her body. Charming’s hand disappears. Emma opens her eyes.
“You can do it.” You hear again. And you feel the thump in your heart settling back in your ribcage. Beating normal again. Soon enough the entire thing vanishes in front of your eyes. You open your eyes again. Your hands are still shaking a little, but you’re home with your mom, and you’re safe. She smiles fondly at you. “See? I knew you could do it.”
“I did it. I stopped my panic attack.” You say with excitement planted on your face and she hugs you tightly. It doesn’t matter how many months it took you to do so, you still did it.
“How about we celebrate? Guess who lifted the town’s protection spell this morning?”
“Wait, really?” Your eyes widen in excitement.
“Yes! You know what that means?” Regina asks, and you can barely contain yourself, jumping up and down.
“Pizza from the neighborhood city!” You squeak. “Can I go get it? Please mom, let me go get it!”
“Here.” Regina gives you the money. “Bring enough for your grandparents. And Belle. Maybe Hook too. Just anyone who happens to be at Granny’s.”
“So basically the entire city?”
“Basically.” She smiles and you’re almost out the door, when you look back at her and add.
“Did I have any plans for when we could leave town?” You think and think, but nothing comes to mind. “It’s weird, I swear I feel like I’m forgetting something important.”
“Maybe to give mom a kiss?” Regina asks and you smile. Rushing to her and hugging her, before kissing her forehead.
“Yeah, it was probably just a kiss.” You chuckle.
