FRIENDS 2 LOVERS WITH DAZAI OSAMU !¡
note : rlly short, I dunno what da heck ‘s dis :3
Tumblr media
knowing dazai osamu was always like a rollercoaster. nothing really was ever boring with him. even when the two of you were teenagers to the time you’ve grown into adults, even if he had changed, life couldn’t seem more exciting.
from blowing up random cars to causing mischief and trouble for others for fun, even when the two of you sat down a random park and opened cans of cheap beer from a nearby 7eleven, it was still marvellous, with the dumb and stupid jokes he makes sometimes or when you open up to him about your feelings and vice versa.
or way back seven years when ozaki would make a statement about how the two of you acted like lovesick fools to her and you would wince and cringe at the thought of dating each other. to the time you actually confess to him and the two of you get together.
of course, it has its ups and downs, with his secrets, stupid dumb impulsive actions, and his bad habits. even when fights broke out in between you, he would always come back after a long walk at four am and apologise to you.
he made you feel all sorts of stuff, angry, upset, frustrated, but most of all, he makes you laugh.
so maybe that’s why you accepted his seemingly poorly planned : ‘ will you marry me ‘and the reason why you started crying at your wedding was because at least in this universe and lifetime, you were lucky enough to meet someone like him.

I ‘ave no idea what dis ‘s pls dnt ask :x

Out With the Old (Heartsabyul, Savanaclaw, and Octavinelle x Yuu)
Tumblr media
"Look I would get rid of this thing if I could afford a new sweatshirt." You drag the offensive article of clothing over your head completely missing the spark of curiosity and mischief in your companion's eye. "I've got a lot of bad memories associated with this."
"If it's that uncomfortable we can go look for a replacement instead of-"
"Oh no not like that, it's super comfy. I just don't like it because it technically belongs to my ex."
notes: they/them used for Yuu, some questionable behavior from Floyd and Jade because who else? This is meant to be crack. Second part can be found here (x)
Tumblr media
Riddle- "THAT'S LITERALLY ILLEGAL???"
He is too focused on hyperventilating because it sounds like you just admitted to a crime in front of him to even think about offering you one of his sweaters. Trey and Cater have to break it down for him unpaid therapist style that no, you are not wearing stolen property (probably), borrowing clothes is just something people in relationships often do. He then further needs it explained that no, you are not still in a relationship and since you want to get rid of the shirt it sounds like things ended poorly. His friends want to try and suggest he should give you an article of his clothing to replace the offending one but he's so focused on getting you something that matches dress code that they decide to quit while they're ahead. Literally.
Trey- "You know you can always ask us if you need help, right?"
Vil's right about Trey's tendency to fuss and spoil people being a bit of a flaw; he's in tune enough with his emotions to know that he should not, for his own sake, give you one of his old sweatshirts without being honest about why he wants you to wear it. But he can't exactly deny his instincts when it comes to the people he cares about. You're cold and uncomfortable, what sort of guy would he be if he just left you all alone? Just please don't brush this off with a comment about how much of a big brother or mother hen he is; it is already going to be pure torture trying to look at you in his things in a Queen of Hearts honoring way. He doesn't need an added complex on top of it.
Cater- "Oh honey no."
Cater doesn't like keeping stuff his exes gave him either, but luckily for him he's never been in a position where that's literally only the stuff he had on him. Speaking of things, he buys a bunch of clothes off magicam he barley has time to take the tags off of before the trend goes stale. You guys should totally ditch what you were planning to do today and have a little fashion show in his room. It'll be cute and he can get a bunch of cammable shots! Just ignore the pop music club hoodie he refuses to take back because it looks "so much cuter on you." <3
Ace- "That's extremely lame prefect."
He isn't blind; you're cute and poor. Anyone would jump at the chance to let you steal a hoodie, besides Ace isn't insecure enough to be super jealous of someone you clearly hate. He knows you well enough to tell when you are silently wishing death on someone, it's all in the vocal tone. But damn if this new bit of information doesn't make things tricky. He already makes a big fuss about not needing to focus on dating right now, and with that iconic sweatshirt of yours technically belonging to an ex it's not like he can just slide you one of his without making it super obvious what he's doing. Looks like you're just going to have to take some extra teasing for a bit prefect, it's his preferred method of cope.
Deuce- "You've been here for how long and the Headmage hasn't given you any clothes?!?!"
Deuce is a good egg whose primary concern is almost always your well being. He tends to act before his common sense and emotions can catch up with his thought process, and that's exactly what happens here. The concept of you dating someone is just so... foreign to him. Not because he thinks your undesirable! It's just that you guys are always hanging out, you not being around makes him feel a bit funny inside, and not in a good way. He doesn't mention that to his mom when he texts her asking if she has any of his old clothes laying around, but she definitely knows what's on his mind. Why else would she have sent his old delinquent jacket?
Tumblr media
Leona- "Well that explains why it smells like shit."
Let the record show that Leona is in fact, lying to you. Your clothes don't smell like anything other than you and maybe some of the musk floating around Ramshackle Dorm, but that doesn't stop you from pulling the fabric and taking a good sniff. To Leona, all this really suggests is that you've been over the person long enough that you don't care about keeping their scent around anymore. Sure, a tiny thought does worm it's ugly way into his inferiority complex that "oh they liked someone else" but his equally large ego immediately slams the emphasis on "liked" and starts thinking about how to get his scent on you. He doesn't really own too many jackets like the one you're wearing, but he does have some nice silk scarfs he could wrap you up in. Much classier than whatever trash you had previously been going out with.
Ruggie- "You wanna toss it my way then?"
Clothes are clothes are clothes, you don't see Ruggie acting like his uniform is still Leona's just because that's who originally bought it. If you are really bothered by the memories of your ex, he's willing to listen and make fun of them, assuming that will make you feel better, but this won't make him jealous. That emotion is reserved for when you share food with other people. He is dead serious about taking the sweatshirt if you don't want it, as far as he's concerned that shirt belongs to you, and he wouldn't mind having an excuse to blend your wardrobes a little bit. It would make you even closer to being a real member of his pack.
Jack- "You can just take mine."
Jack's strong sense of justice and firm moral code are definitely his only motivations for offering you one of his sweatshirts. Forcing a student to wear clothes they find uncomfortable and associate with negative memories just because they didn't have the foresight to pack something they did like for a school they didn't know they would be attending is beyond unfair. That's what he tells himself anyway, and it's not like he isn't upset on your behalf, but it's plain as day to anyone that he wants to prove that you can rely on him; he's not like that other person, he doesn't mind being alone together with you.
Tumblr media
Azul- "If your finances really are in such dire straights you know I could-"
Revealing personal information in Azul's presence is asking to be offered a deal. Sure that little complaint might have been insignificant to you, but for Azul? He's having a full blown Sherlock style breakdown going on in his head trying to decide what his angle is. 1) The prefect has dated in the past and doesn't look on that experience favorably. Does this prevent them from dating again? Needs further analysis. 2) Giving articles of clothing is an acceptable form of human courtship, even if used. Or is it especially if used? 3) Can he convince you to burn this if he gets you a replacement or is that too petty? 4) More importantly does this mean you have a type? And how does he press for that information without appearing desperate?
Jade- "Oh? Well that sounds extremely annoying."
Jade Leech is first and foremost a messy bitch who lives for other people's misery. Sure, he is reasonably certain he's in love with you at this point, but that doesn't matter. You have a story that's filled with second hand embarrassment and a bone to pick besides he is nothing if not an enthusiastic audience. The thought of you wearing clothes that he owns wasn't something he would have thought of himself, merfolk don't typically wear them so dating customs that involve them are a bit foreign to him. He would much rather just bite you. Or give you some jewelry. both he wants to do both
Floyd- "PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP ME"
The instant you say that sweatshirt is from an ex he is taking off whatever shirt he is currently wearing and trying to tug off yours. Yes, even if it is his basketball jersey, and yes even if he just got back from practice. Isn't the scent supposed to be the point? He knows you miss him when he's gone, and he can get you something nicer out of his closet later. Just remember to tell everyone, even and especially if they don't ask, who gave it to you. Floyd's... nice? Enough? To not immediately burn your sweatshirt but it's up for debate if that's because he's actually being nice or if he just wants a trophy.

[REQUESTS OPEN—based off this request]
[7.3k] the five times your secret relationship with your brother’s best friend was almost exposed to him and the one time it was.
The first time your brother almost caught you and Sirius, it was a miracle he was as gullible as he was.
Growing up with a brother like James Potter had its highs and lows.
The highs: someone who loved you unconditionally, who was there for you regardless of your mistakes and flaws, who had your back even if the whole world was against you because that was just how he loved.
The lows: he was an overbearing, overprotective helicopter busybody who seemed to make it his goal to make sure you didn’t have a life. Well, not really but his interference sure did make it difficult to have any sort of social life without him getting involved.
A keen example of such would be your dating life.
Being just under a year younger than him, you didn’t enrol in Hogwarts until the following year where you were sorted into Slytherin—much to your brother’s dismay. But it seemed like a blessing in disguise when you realised it was the one way you were able to escape him and his domineering ways. Despite all his weaselling and bribing, even James Potter couldn’t get loyal spies in Slytherin.
However, the different houses only saved you from so much and it seemed like James had made it his mission for every boy in the school vicinity to know you were off-limits. He didn’t outwardly state it—he would never do something so brash and obvious to the world that your mother would hear about it—but he would do a damn good job of showing it.
The poor bloke who tried to give you a Valentine’s Day card in second year was the unfortunate victim, with his walk of shame to the infirmary to visit Madam Pomfrey. It only got worse the older you got. Dances and balls and Hogsmeade dates passed and James scared away any possible prospect you laid your eyes on.
However, what James would have never expected was for it to be none other than one of his best friends to be the one to make a move on his little sister.
And he definitely wouldn’t have expected you to go for Sirius out of the bunch.
“Who are you and what have you done to the real Sirius Black?” you remarked with a faux scandalised look on your face as the boy tugged you, one hand intertwined with yours whilst the other moved to wave his wand at the set up he had created.
“You should know by now that I’m a hopeless romantic, love,” Sirius grinned in response, a smile that was nothing but boyish and wild.
You snorted. “You’re only romantic when you want something, Black.”
He looked back at you, dark eyes glimmering with pure mischief. “Maybe all I want is a day to spend with my girl.”
You would be lying if you said your heart didn’t swoon a little at the sight in front of you. The torn piece of parchment had been tucked into one of your textbooks, found yesterday morning during your potions class. The familiar scribble and small heart signed at the bottom made it clear enough who the message was from.
But you didn’t think Sirius’ desire to meet on a Friday evening after classes would have anything to do with a romantic picnic setup out by the lake.
Your gaze moved over the setup: the large picnic blanket, pillows and throws spread across the surface and the basket lying in the middle with a bottle of wine (that you were sure he somehow smuggled in) popping out one side of it.
“You like it?” he asked, though the boy sounded awfully smug like he knew you liked it.
“You’re pretty extraordinary when you try, Black,” you mused, enjoying the way he tugged you closer until your back was pressed against his chest. You leaned back into his embrace, nuzzled against him as his arms tightened around you. “Why the lake?”
“Because it’s a romantic spot.”
You raised your brows. “And the real reason?”
You could feel his grin against your skin as he leaned down to kiss under your jaw. “Maybe I wanted to take a swim with my girl, is that such a crime?”
“I don’t have a costume with me,” you told him with a knowing sigh.
“Guess we are just gonna have to go naked, love,” he whispered, nipping your ear before guiding you towards the blanket.
You were already making yourself comfortable on the blanket as you began to pull at the tie around your neck, unbuttoning the top buttons of your shirt and shedding the robes that had felt heavy all day. You sighed, kicking your shoes off and leaning back against the blanket as you enjoyed the soft breeze that came with the warming, spring weather.
“M’lady,” he handed you a glass of wine, the giddiness radiating off him only infectious as you took the glass along with one of the chocolate strawberries he had laid out.
“It feels weird,” you murmured as you took a bite, tongue darting out to catch the strawberry juices dribbling down your chin.
Sirius raised a brow. “What does?”
“Seeing you be a normal boyfriend,” you said.
He frowned. “I’m not a normal boyfriend?”
“Sirius,” you snorted and shook your head. “You snuck into my room—still as a dog, may I add—to cuddle with me because you were lonely.”
“I missed you,” he shrugged.
“We weren’t dating yet,” you added.
“I had a shy time admitting my feelings,” he retorted, lifting his chin though you could see the hints of a smile growing on his face. “Plus, you always had a soft spot for me when I was a dog.”
“Except when you pissed on my bag,” you grumbled.
“You kept reading, it was offensive.”
“To who?”
“My ego, love. I was sitting next to you all day and you just kept reading,” Sirius huffed, leaning back on his elbows as he took in the sight of you. It wasn’t often you both could share moments like this, out in broad daylight—even if you were far away from the castle—just enjoying each other’s presence and nothing else to distract you.
Sirius Black didn’t think he could ever love silence so much until he shared it with you.
“Your ego is coping just fine,” you assured him, glancing down at the boy who was already staring at you.
“I preferred it when you’d blush and get all flustered around me,” he muttered. “Now you just bully me.”
“It turns you on,” you remarked with a grin.
“Nah, that’s just you, love,” he bit back. “But I do miss how cute you used to blush when you were crushing on me—”
You rolled your eyes. “I didn’t have a crush on you!”
“You practically ogled me all last summer!” he barked out a laugh.
“Maybe I was looking at Remus,” you teased.
His eyes narrowed. “Low blow, darling.”
“Yeah but you like me anyways,” you murmured as you leaned down to press your lips against his. One of his hands slid around your neck, keeping you in his embrace longer than you intended.
“I’m not finished,” his voice was a little whiny when you pulled away.
“Five minutes and then I’m all yours, Black,” you assured him as you slid your shoes back on, heading towards the wooded shrubbery. “It’s your fault you dragged me straight out here before warning me we were going somewhere with no toilets.”
“The ice cream would’ve melted,” he pointed out, a boyish grin on his face as you shot him a look that told him you knew he placed a cooling charm on the basket.
You shook your head. “You truly are a romantic, Sirius Black.”
“Only for you, darling,” he grinned as he watched you disappear into the overgrown bushes and trees.
Sirius leaned back on the blanket, hands tucked under his head as he laid there quite content to just count the passing seconds until you returned as he aimlessly hummed some muggle tune he heard during his last visit to muggle London. What he wasn’t expecting was to hear a familiar voice calling out his name for hundreds of feet in the air.
“OI, PADS! THERE YOU FUCKING ARE!”
It wasn’t easy to make Sirius Black feel fear, but seeing your brother descend from the sky on a broomstick with an unreadable expression on his face came pretty damn close.
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you—” James paused, both feet now on the grass and his eyes now focused on the sight in front of him: Sirius sprawled on a tartan blanket with a picket basket and two wine glasses beside him. “—and clearly you’ve been preoccupied.”
Sirius cleared his throat. “Why were you looking for me?”
“I wanted to see if you wanted to get in some laps before dinner,” James said, a grin breaking out on his face. “You didn’t tell me you had a date tonight.”
“I didn’t? Must have slipped my mind,” he laughed off, waving his hand dismissively but he should have known that would not be enough for the boy.
“Who is she?” James asked, eyes glimmering in interest. “Or he? Is it that bloke from—”
“It’s none of your business, Prongs,” Sirius interrupted, knowing the seconds were ticking down until you popped out of the bushes and straight into the eyeline of your brother.
James’ eyes narrowed. “Since when have you ever not made it my business? I know more about you than I care to admit, mate.”
“Consider this me setting boundaries now!”
“You’re being weird,” his friend muttered with a small frown. “But fine. Be dodgy. You’ll probably tell me when you end up getting your ass bitten by the squid like the last time you tried hooking up with a girl in the lake.”
Sirius scoffed. “That never happened!”
“But I sure like telling people it did!” James retorted, his legs kicking off the ground and his broomstick flying through the air before Sirius could even think about standing up.
Sirius watched as your brother’s figure disappeared as he flew beyond the castle, most likely heading towards the quidditch pitch like he said he was. But he didn’t tear his eyes away until he knew for sure James was nowhere nearby and then—only then—did he let out a shaky breath.
“That was close.”
His head snapped around as he watched you step out of the shrubbery, giving him a slightly strained smile as he tugged you down onto his lap.
“You heard him?”
“I could hear him from a mile away,” you snorted in amusement. “He’s gonna find out one day.”
“Do you want to tell him?” Sirius asked cautiously, because truthfully speaking whatever you wanted the boy was willing to give you.
“Not yet,” you murmured, shaking your head. “I wanna enjoy you for myself for a little while longer.”
He grinned. “Well, how can I say no to that?”
The second time James almost caught you was purely Sirius’ fault—or at least, that’s what you say. He would disagree.
Assignments and essays were starting to pile up, and between quidditch practice and sneaking around to meet with your boyfriend, you hadn’t devoted near enough time to get your work done. That was why you had decided to spend your weekend in the library—and that was why you had given Sirius a simple rule.
Don’t distract me.
A simple rule. A simple, simple command. Something he should’ve been able to follow for the weekend.
So, of course, in true Sirius Black fashion, he broke the one rule you set.
In his defence, he lasted a lot longer than you expected. It was Sunday afternoon when he finally sauntered into the library, darting through the aisles of books and lingering students before he made his way towards the secluded table you had set yourself up on.
“The bookworm look is kinda hot,” he remarked as he sat himself on the table, just narrowly missing the parchment you had already scribbled your herbology assignment on.
“Watch it,” you muttered, eyebrows furrowed together in concentration.
There was a small moment of silence before your head snapped up, staring at the boy sitting in front of you with wide eyes.
“What are you doing here?” you whisper-yelled, unable to help yourself from glancing around to see if any lingering students this far back in the library had spotted you both yet.
“You know, it’s this funny little thing called missing my girlfriend—”
“I’m serious,” you interrupted.
Sirius couldn’t help but grin. “So am I.”
You shot the boy a look.
“Hey, sorry, sorry,” he murmured and raised his hands in mock surrender. “But I did miss you. I haven’t heard from you all weekend, I was worried. Just wanted to make sure my girl was alive.”
Your face softened. “Don’t start making me swoon when I’m meant to be mad at you, Black.”
He wiggled his eyebrows. “Is it working?”
“Yes,” you said with a heavy sigh. “But I really have to finish this assignment.”
“Later,” he waved off. “We still have a week.”
“It’s due in two days, love,” you murmured and watched the boy’s eyes widen.
“Huh,” he muttered before he shrugged. “I’m sure I’ll pull something out of my ass in time.”
“You stress me out,” you shook your head.
“But you still keep me around,” Sirius mused as he began to lean down, his eyes locked on your lips and the itching urge to grab your face and kiss you was getting unbearable. It had been too long since he kissed you.
Sirius was mere inches away from your face when a voice sounded behind you.
“Pads?”
Both of your heads swivelled around to find James standing there, eyebrows furrowed together and a piece of folded parchment in hand.
“Hey,” Sirius sang, clearing his throat a little as he quickly shifted back.
“Hey,” James repeated, looking between you and his best friend. “What’s going on here?”
“Take a guess,” you deadpanned as you nodded towards the parchment, quills and ink pots sprawled over the large wooden table.
His eyes moved to Sirius. “And you?”
“I was looking for Moony,” the lie slipped past his lips easily, you would’ve believed him yourself if it weren’t for the fact he had his nose brushing against yours less than a minute ago.
“Right but Moony is doing prefect rounds with Lily,” James muttered.
Sirius blinked. “Oh yeah! So he is. Must’ve slipped my mind.
“And you didn’t think to use this?”
His eyes fell to the parchment in his hand, knowing full well what it was. Sirius cleared his throat again and smiled, “I was in a rush, mate, must’ve forgot about it.”
“Right,” James repeated, something different in his voice.
“Can you both fuck off now? It’s bad enough I had one idiot bothering me before but I need you both,” you piped in, keeping your voice utterly bored as you spoke. Though the annoyance wasn’t totally a lie, you did really need to write your essay.
Whatever James heard in your voice seemed to work as the boy only grinned at you. “I think we make fetching company, don’t you, Pads?”
“I agree, Prongs,” Sirius grinned as he turned to you, ruffling your hair as you tried to bat his hand away. “That’s what I was telling little Potter here. Everyone thinks Moony is the brains in the group, but it’s all a lie.”
“Sure,” you snorted before giving him a shove so he slid off the table. “Off you shoo now, go find Moony.”
“Hey,” James piped jokingly, pointing an accusatory finger at you. “Our Moony, only we get to call him that.”
“Remus lets me,” you retorted.
“Whatever,” your brother grumbled before throwing his arm over Sirius’ shoulders. “We have things to do. Business to attend to.”
“Whatever prank it is, just warn me in advance please. I don’t need permanent pink hair again.”
Both boys just grinned. “Now where’s the fun in that, dear sister?”
The third time your brother almost caught you and Sirius had to be the worst situation of the lot.
Sirius hadn’t intended to go home that weekend, it would never be a willing journey back to the one place he felt constricted and restrained and under a constant microscope of judgement. However, when he received the owl with his family’s crest on the envelope, he felt a stronger urge to open it rather than just throw it into a fire like he usually did.
Whatever the letter contained, it was enough to convince Sirius to go home on Friday after his classes ended.
He didn’t want to talk about it when he came back, and you didn’t want to push him when you saw just how drained and exhausted the boy was. He looked like a shell of himself, as he usually did whenever he spent more than five minutes in his mother’s presence.
You hadn’t been able to get him alone since he came back, the boys hounding and cheering him over the last few days until he was starting to look like the Sirius you knew.
Yet, the perfect opportunity arose on a Wednesday evening and you snatched it, because you were selfish and needy and wanted to be alone with your boyfriend after you had spent the last three days pretending to only be causally concerned.
“Fuck,” Sirius moaned, his words vibrating and humming across your bare skin. “That feels good.”
“Good to know you like scratches behind your ear as a dog and a human,” you mused as you dragged your fingers through his hair, nails scratching against his scaly until he was practically purring.
The prefect bathrooms were completely empty of a Wednesday evening—information you came aware of after eavesdropping on a conversation between Remus and Lily where the latter mentioned the weekly prefect meeting would be longer this week than usual—and who were you but a Potter using the resources around you? It was practically screaming your name.
Sirius hadn’t even questioned you as you dragged him through the corridors, marauders map in hand so you could avoid Filch and any other teachers who could catch you. You had barely made it through the doors before Sirius began tugging at your clothes, eager and impatient to get them off.
However, as bouncy and eager as the boy was, he practically melted under your touch when you sank into the hot water, scented bubbles making it easy to just sit back and close your eyes for a moment longer than you intended. It didn’t take long for him to tug you onto his lap, his arms locked around you and his head resting against your chest as lazy murmurs and hushed whispers were shared between you.
“I am a simple wizard to please,” Sirius retorted which caused you to snort. You could feel his smile against your skin.
“There is nothing simple about you, Sirius Black,” you murmured honestly and watched as he lifted his head, eyes clouded with an emotion you couldn’t quite read.
“Does that bother you?” he asked, voice thick with doubt.
“Not at all,” you answered honestly as you took his face in your hands.
His eyes softened. “You mean it?”
“I mean it, baby,” you smiled, leaning down to press a kiss against his lips.
SLAM!
“PADS, WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN, MATE?”
It was pure instinct and fast reflexes that had Sirius’ body moving before he even processed his best friend’s voice bouncing off the walls of the prefect bathroom. And it just so happened that his instinct was to dunk your head under the water before James rounded the corner towards the baths and saw you situated on his lap.
“James!” Sirius yelled, wincing a little at the volume of his voice but the other boy didn’t even seem to blink an eye at it.
“Listen, I was thinking we could—”
But Sirius couldn’t focus on a word his friend was saying. Not with you underneath the water, pinching at his thigh and most likely holding your breath by your own account since there wasn’t enough time to mutter a spell before your brother barged through the doors. Not when whatever James was suggesting was the last thing on his mind when he could be spending time with you.
It was his justification for the lie that slipped past his lips.
“Hey Prongs, did you ever find Evans? She was looking for you earlier.”
James’ ramble came to a quick stop, his cheeks flushing a little. “She was?”
“Yeah,” Sirius nodded. “She said it was urgent. Something about Hogsmeade or—”
James didn’t even bother with rambling off an excuse before he was already making his way towards the door. “I have to go! I’ll see you later, mate!”
The second he was out of sight, Sirius tugged you above the surface as you broke through, gasping and coughing a little as you sent your boyfriend a glare.
“Really?” you deadpanned.
“I panicked!” he sputtered out, a sheepish expression on his face. “I’m sorry, love.”
“Next time, I’m dunking you under,” you grumbled under your breath as Sirius pulled you closer, pressing a line of kisses along your neck and jaw, all over your face until he reached your lips.
“You can do whatever you want to me, love,” Sirius murmured against your lips.
“I hate how hard you make it for me to be mad at you,” you sighed.
“Ah, there’s still resistance? I guess I gotta use more convincing tactics,” the boy grinned as your cheeks flushed in response.
Sirius made a mental note to apologise to Lily later. If he remembered.
The fourth time your brother almost caught you two was pure, dumb, sheer luck that James wasn’t the first person to walk through the door.
At this point, you were firmly under the impression the universe had it out for you and Sirius. There were far too many close calls over the weeks that had you on edge when all you wanted was to be with your boyfriend without your overbearing brother hovering around the corner.
And the perfect opportunity seemed to fall straight in your lap when Lily dared James that he couldn’t last a weekend muggle camping.
Of course, in true James Potter fashion, the date only grew more exaggerated and everyone began to get roped into the trip until it was a full-on getaway for the whole group.
Which meant it was a perfect opportunity for you and Sirius to hang out freely for the weekend without fear of your brother popping out of nowhere.
“This is nice,” you murmured, face nuzzled against his chest and eyes closed in content.
“The silence?”
“Being able to cuddle with you on an actual bed,” you answered, lips tugging upwards when you felt his chest shaking with his laughter.
“Mark my words, love,” he hummed, arms squeezing around you tighter. “One day we will be able to do this every day.”
“Every day?” you mused. “Plan on keeping me around that long?”
“Not even gonna let you go when you’re sick of me,” he responded, his lips pressed against the top of your head.
It had been easy to convince the group you couldn’t tag along for the weekend getaway, throwing in that you had assignments and tests and you wanted the extra time to study between quidditch practice and games.
Sirius, on the other hand, had a little more difficulty. There was no excuse that would’ve worked for James Potter since he was a relentless, persuading little shit. So, he had to go to extremes and it was a horrible hour of pain and nausea induced from the potion that convinced James he truly was too sick to go.
It had worn off less than ten minutes after the group left, and it had taken less than five minutes after that for Sirius to drag you up to his dorm and pull you against his chest.
“Can we just stay like this all weekend?” you asked, words slightly muffled as you pressed your nose against the soft fabric of his shirt, his smell overwhelming you in the best way possible—pine, cigarettes and a hint of something sweet, like vanilla.
“If you leave this bed for more than five minutes, I would consider it a failure of a perfect weekend,” he retorted and you didn’t even need to lift your head to know he was smirking.
“Five minutes seems dramatic to—“
“It’s fine, James! I can grab the bag! It’s just one bag!”
“Lily, darling, it could be—“
“It’s a bag of clothes, not bricks. Calm down!”
You and Sirius stared at the door, eyes wide as the footsteps approaching got closer and you barely had a chance to even react before the door swung open. You braced yourself to see your brother on the other side, to see you both cuddled up on Sirius’ bed less than an hour since they had left.
You braced yourself for your secret to be exposed.
But when the door hit the wall, it wasn’t James’ shocked face you saw—it was Lily’s.
You blinked at her.
She blinked at the two of you.
There was a pause as you all remained where you were, frozen in place as she took in the sight in front of her.
“I forgot the bag, it’s only fair that I hold it, darling.”
Lily’s lips parted. “What the—“
“Lils? Is everything okay?”
Your face must’ve shown your fear because she paused before answering, eyebrows furrowed together as she mouthed a ‘what?’ at you. But it took less than five seconds of aggressive, incoherent hand gestures before you finally hissed out.
“James doesn’t know!”
Lily’s eyes widened as the realisation hit her too, with your brother now just down the hall and seconds away from entering the dorm room himself. She threw her hands in the air, glancing around the room before she pointed vigorously at a bundle of fabric lying on the trunk at the end of one of the other beds.
It was a comically short time between you diving off the bed, grabbing the invisibility cloak and scrambling to throw it over your head to Lily turning on her heel, grabbing James’ face before he could even walk into the room and kissing him on the lips.
Sirius let out a garbled noise of surprise, blinking and gaping at the sight of his two friends kissing that it completely washed away the dread he felt moments ago from almost being caught.
When Lily eventually pulled away, she looked momentarily shocked at her own decision before clearing her throat.
“You can get the bag,” she said in a slightly high-pitched voice, patting his chest awkwardly a few times before she slid past him and quickly rushed out the room.
James stood there, staring blankly ahead with red cheeks and parted lips.
“You good there, mate?” Sirius asked cautiously, trying to keep his eyes on his friend rather than the spot where you were hidden under the cloak.
“Yeah,” James muttered airily as he moved to grab the duffel bag lying a few feet away, his eyebrows furrowed together slightly before he walked out the room, still in a daze as he did so.
It was a solid few minutes before you finally shrugged the cloak off, looking at the doorway where Lily and James stood moments ago before turning to Sirius who looked just as shocked as you still felt.
“So…” you murmured, letting out a heavy breath. “Lily knows.”
“I think that’s the last thing on Lily’s mind right now,” Sirius commented.
“I’m almost jealous I’m not gonna be on that camping trip now,” you said honestly, thinking of a million different ways you could thank your friend for helping you hide your secret.
“I’m sure Prongs won’t shut up about it when he’s back.”
“Merlin save us now.”
The fifth time your brother almost caught you was most definitely your fault. It pained you to admit so, but the blame was firmly placed on your shoulders.
From the second you and James picked up broomsticks at the ages of four and five, Euphemia Potter had taken it upon herself to set up boundaries so her two highly competitive kids wouldn’t fall into the habit of bad sportsmanship and petty sibling arguments.
And in the grand scheme of things, it worked.
No matter what, no matter the outcome or the plays or the results, you and James had a tradition after every quidditch game you played against each other to keep a strong hold on that tradition your mother set up for you when you were younger.
Today’s game would be no different. The game would play, one team would win and then you’d meet James outside the changing rooms to hangout with ice cream and cookies and whatever sweet treats you could get your hands on.
It had been the tradition for years, and it continued when James became Gryffindor’s star chaser and you became one of Slytherin’s best beaters.
But this game was a little different, not that your brother or anyone else in the school knew. It was different because you were more restless than usual before the game. It was different because what was usually a close game ended up with Slytherin a good hundred odd points clear with their win. It was different because the second the Slytherin changing room was empty, you had dragged Sirius inside without a single care about how risky you were being.
You were riding the high of the victory, body buzzing with need and adrenaline and sinking your fingers into your boyfriend’s hair whilst he pressed you up against the lockers and kissed you senseless seemed like a pretty damn good way to celebrate your win.
“I shouldn’t be this attracted to you when you just humiliated my house out there,” he muttered against your neck, his hands pulling at the quidditch leathers you wore in desperate need to feel your skin against his. “Not very loyal of me, or redeeming for my house spirit.”
“Or maybe you’re seeing that green is much better,” you teased, tugging his hair until his eyes found yours again. “I think you’d look pretty hot with my name on your back, Black.”
“Fuck house loyalty, boyfriend brownie points are more important,” Sirius grumbled before kissing you, hands squeezing your thighs when you wrapped your legs around his waist.
Your hands were already making move of undoing the buttons of his shirt, more than ready to tear his clothes off and have him fuck you up against the lockers just like you had been fantasising about the second you saw his smug face on the Gryffindor bleachers with red and gold stripes painted on his cheeks. You wanted to make him moan and whine and whimper in the Slytherin changing rooms like you owned him (because truthfully, you did and he would have been more than happy to play along).
But that finicky little tradition came to bite you in the ass at the worst possible time.
Three knocks rapped against the changing room door before you heard your brother’s voice on the other side, calling out your name and asking if you were ready.
Your eyes widened, your hands on his chest as you pushed Sirius away before muttering a string of curses under your breath. You didn’t give him a chance to even start panicking before you were shoving him into a locker, slamming the door shut and pressing your back against it before you called James in.
“Congratulations,” James greeted, walking in with a softer smile on his face than most people were used to. “You guys killed it out there today.”
You raised your brows. “You’re not salty?”
“Only a little,” James shrugged with a dramatic sigh. “Guess I’ll just have to thrash your ass next time.”
You snorted. “Good luck doing that.”
“You don’t think I will?” James questioned, that competitive spark in his chest flaring a little. And you knew because you were just the same,
“Oh I know—”
ACHOO!
James frowned, eyebrows furrowed as he glanced around the changing rooms. “Is there someone else in here?”
You flashed him a confused look, pretending your head wasn’t beating a million miles an hour. “Hm?”
“Someone just sneezed,” James said.
“Did they? I didn’t hear anything,” you shrugged.
His frown deepened. “It sounded like it was—”
“I think the loss is getting to your head, making you hallucinate nonsense,” you teased your older brother before you waved him off. “Let me just change out of my jersey and I’ll meet you outside in five minutes.”
His confusion was still evident on his face as he nodded, muttering a response before he glanced around the changing room one more time. He shook his head, letting out a sigh before he left the room, muttering away to himself as he did so.
When the changing room doors swung closer, you yanked the locker door open and watched your boyfriend stumble out of the small space.
“Really?”
“I can’t control my allergies, love!”
“Do you think he bought it?”
Sirius snorted. “With your acting skills? Probably not, sweetheart. But you better get going before he gets even more suspicious.”
You groaned but didn’t disagree, making quick move to change out of your quidditch gear—slapping Sirius’ hands away as you did so—before you rushed out to complete the tradition with your brother like you planned.
Sirius snuck out the Slytherin changing rooms ten minutes later, much to the amusement of the students who did spot him.
The one time James finally caught you and Sirius hadn’t played out the way you expected, though that was mostly due to the fact he didn’t really catch you at all.
It was a simple miscount and muscle memory that led to your relationship with your brother’s best friend being exposed.
The Potter Manor was not an unusual place for everyone to convene during the summer months. Euphemia and Fleamont Potter adored their children’s friends like they were an extension of their family, and they loved to have the manor bustling with rambunctious teens during the hot, summer days. It made their house feel more like a home.
This year was no different as one by one, each of their friends arrived at the manor to enjoy blissful weeks of freedom and stress-free days before they returned to Hogwarts in the autumn. Sirius was no different, more than eager to get away from his family home and live under a roof he didn’t fear to be himself.
And as much as he adored James and his other friends, he was eager to see you too. It had been weeks of letters and secret calls through the fireplace that had got you both through the weeks apart until he finally visited. He wanted to see his girl but it was truly the universe’s irony that the only time he would get to see you was when everyone you both cared about seemed to be living in the same house.
The first few days had been chaotic in themselves, everyone simply eager to catch up and hang out and sit out in the large garden behind the Potter Manor until the sun had firmly set and Euphemia was calling them all in.
But Sirius was itching to have you in his arms again and you were just the same. So when you had slipped him a note, a number scrawled on the paper of how many doors down your room was from his, he was eager to sneak out that night.
The manor was silent, barely a noise sounded through the whole house when Sirius slid out of his room just minutes after two in the morning. He whispered a soft ‘lumos’ under his breath as he used his wand as a guide, making his way down the hallway with soft steps. He counted each door as he passed them, stopping short when he reached yours.
He quickly slipped his wand into the back of his sweatpants, quietly turning the door handle and opening the door enough for him to slide inside before closing it behind him. The room was dark and even when he squinted, it was difficult to make out anything beyond the bed a few feet away from him with a trunk at the foot and a broom sprawled across the top. He noted the dresser and wardrobe on the other side of the room, but his attention was focused on the lump lying under the sheets.
Sirius smiled to himself as he made his way towards the bed, knees pressed against the mattress as he leaned over to softly shake you. “Hey baby.”
“Pads?”
“James?!”
There was a moment of silence before he heard the noise of sheets rustling and a small click before a bedside lamp was turned on, and he was met with the very confused face of his best friend staring back at him.
“Mate, did you just call me baby?”
“Uh,” Sirius’s lips parted as he gaped at his friend, mind reeling with the stupid mistake he had just made. “I didn’t realise this was your room, I thought it was—”
James’ eyebrows furrowed together. “Thought it was who’s?”
“Mine!” he blurted out.
James blinked sleepily in response, trying to string everything together. “What? Why are you acting so weird?”
“I’m not acting weird, Prongs, you are,” the boy scoffed, clearing his throat a little before he took a few steps away from the bed. “Anyways, I’m gonna go to bed—”
“Woah, woah,” James grumbled as he pushed the sheets off his body, moving to stand up too. “You can’t sneak around, call someone baby and not tell me what the fuck is going on? Are you seeing someone in the group?”
Sirius was silent.
James’ eyes widened in delight. “And you didn’t tell me? Dude, what the hell? Who is it? Does anyone else know? Is it Marlene? Mary? Dorcas? Fuck, is it Moony? You two always were kinda flirty—”
Sirius remained silent.
“C’mon, Pads, you gotta tell me!” James whined, though there was an eager smile on his face. “The only other people on this floor beside me and you is Evans but there’s no way she’d go for you, and—”
Sirius flashed a sheepish smile.
“Sirius,” James said in a low voice. “Who’s room were you sneaking into?”
“Mate—”
“THAT’S MY LITTLE SISTER, SIRIUS!”
Sirius winced a little, the words getting stuck in his throat as he extended his hands out towards his friend. But James didn’t give him a chance to explain himself before he pinched Sirius by his ear, dragging him out the room to the one next over and barged inside without even bothering to knock.
You shot up from the bed, your lips parting when you saw your brother burst through the door with Sirius by his side.
“James—”
“Really? My best friend? You’re trying to steal my best friend from me?” James exclaimed, not a single care in the world at the fact it was three in the morning.
You let out a shaky laugh. “That is not the case—”
“And you!” James continued, turning to look at his friend who was trying to soothe his pinched earlobe with a small frown. “How could you, mate! My little sister! You know she isn’t allowed to date until she’s thirty-two!”
You scoffed. “Nobody agreed to that rule.”
“I did!” James retorted, his voice a little high pitched as he glanced between you both. “Merlin, I can’t believe this betrayal.”
“James—” you started but the boy didn’t let you continue.
“A betrayal I say!”
You rolled your eyes, fingertips pressed against your temple as your brother continued to theatrically throw his arms in the air, truly living up to his name as the most dramatic Potter sibling.
“And I thought he was bad when Mum told him she was making Shepherd's pie instead of Sunday roast last week,” you grumbled to yourself, shoving your duvet off before you slid off the bed and moved closer to both boys. “Jamie, it’s really not that big of a deal—”
“He’s Sirius Black!” James spluttered like that was a solid enough reason.
“Yeah, and I love her, mate!” Sirius yelled back.
There was a pause as both Potter siblings stared at the boy with very different expressions, making Sirius squirm a little under the intense focus.
“You love her?”
“You love me?”
“Yeah, well,” Sirius cleared his throat, his hand scratching the nape of his neck nervously. “This wasn’t exactly the way I wanted to say it, y’know?”
Your eyes softened, pressing your lips to hold back the grin that wanted to spread over your face. “I love you too, baby.”
“Bleh,” James gagged. “I don’t know if this is cute or disgusting.” There was a pause. “Yeah, no, definitely disgusting.”
“Shut up,” you grumbled and reached over to whack his arm. “Lily thinks we’re cute.”
“EVANS KNOWS?!”
“What in the bloody hell is going on in here?” A voice sounded from the doorway, three heads turning around to see Euphemia Potter standing there in her dressing gown and slippers, hands on her hips. “It’s three in the morning, why aren’t any of you asleep?”
“They are trying to sleep together!” James blurted out as he pointed between you and Sirius.
“James!”
“Prongs!”
Euphemia glanced between the three of you, looking unamused. “Yes, honey, that’s what tends to happen when you’re in a relationship.”
James blinked. “You knew too?”
“Your father and I had our suspicions,” Euphemia stated with a shrug, though there was a knowing smile on her lips. “I won the bet. Your father thought your sister would have gone for Remus. He clearly never saw the way Sirius looked at her, even when you were all younger.”
Sirius’ cheeks burned but he didn’t deny it.
“I–” James started again but his mother shot him a look.
“Let your sister live, James,” she said in a pointed tone. “I am sure your sister knows how to be safe and use a contraceptive spell–”
“Mum!” you blanched, arms wrapped around yourself in hopes you could curl into your own body to avoid the embarrassment of the situation.
“Oh stop being such a prude!” Euphemia waved you off before nodding her head towards her eldest. “Leave them alone, you can wail about it in the morning at a more reasonable hour.”
“But—”
“Bed, James. Don’t make me repeat myself,” she said and watched as the boy shuffled out the room, heading back towards his room. She then turned to look at you and Sirius, a warm smile on her face. “Whilst I am happy for you both, I don’t want grandchildren just yet.”
Sirius coughed to cover his laugh. “Of course not, ma’am.”
“Don’t be silly, Sirius, you’re a part of the family more so than before now,” Euphemia grinned as she reached for the door handle, ready to close the door behind her. “But that doesn’t mean I won’t shatter you if you hurt my little girl.”
“I would expect nothing less from you,” Sirius admitted with a nod.
“Goodnight. Don’t be too loud, you may scar your brother.”
“Mum!” you huffed, listening to her laugh cheerily as she headed back down the hallway towards her own room. You then turned to Sirius who was already looking at you, something unreadable on his face. “Guess the cat’s out of the bag, huh?”
“You really love me back?” he asked in a soft voice, his hands finding your waist like magnets.
“Of course I do,” you answered with a smile, one hand pressed over his racing heart and the other cupping his face. “You’ve weasled your way into my heart, Black.”
“I intend to stay there for a while,” he told you.
“Good. You can start by being the big spoon.”
Sirius snorted. “Always, love.”

Dean sort of wanted to impress her.
She was a hunter, like him, after all.
If he showed her the Bunker, he hoped she'd be impressed; by him, by it, he really hoped so. There was a lot about the Bunker that impressed him when he’d gotten there. The dungeon, the showers, the lore, the garage, the kitchen, everything. That was his first thought when Sam asked Dean for some boxes of the kitchen items he’d left behind since they couldn’t bring everything with them. Dean saw the opportunity to show off.
The past two weeks went by quickly. They were together now. Shared a New Years kiss at the behest of Eileen, Jack, and even tiny, baby Dean.
Sam and Eileen were like kids with Barbie and Ken dolls, thrilled to make their favourite couple kiss at last. Cas and Jack were stunned at the discovery that two of them hated each other at first, but they were happy to see that Dean was happy.
It all just came together, somehow, after falling apart so messily. Her and Dean. Their lives.
It was natural for her to be around all of them. Dean forgot that it was him she had a problem with at first. It made it easy for Dean and hard for him all at once. They knew her better than he did and she knew them well, too.
They began bonding over hunting stories when he told Sam, Eileen, Cas, and Jack that she was also a hunter; she'd ask Cas and Jack a dozen questions whenever she could after finding out they were angels—the other, a nephilim. Sometimes, he’d catch a glimpse at Cas’ phone notifications and see what she asks him with a smile on his face.
They’ve all been hanging out because of the holidays. She stayed with him during the weekends because he asked her to. He met her family, it was terrifying since they just started… dating… but her family was funny and kind to him. It eased his nerves, but they told him they’d heard of him from other hunters. He knew he was safe, hunters mostly liked him and his brother… except for the parts where they were at fault for all the bad stuff.
Miracle was happier than ever to have his friend back, her Cat, Bubbles. Dean had a feeling Sam and Jack would take Miracle over to her place or maybe Miracle and Bubbles truly still remembered each other.
Things are better, hotter now that they are together, more than when they were enemies. Dean was just beyond happy that he had her, that they talked about it… sort of.

“You listen to the same music as my big brother,” she chuckled from beside him, the box of cassette tapes resting on her lap as she riffled through them. Dean smiled, taking his eyes off the road to gaze at her momentarily.
“Yeah?” He asked, turning back to the road as they drove into the long, wintry, still-green forest that would lead them to the Bunker.
“Yeah, I grew up on all of this music. My dad even loves Led Zeppelin,” she told him distractedly, staring at the clear plastic box labelled as Led Zeppelin. She shrugged and inserted the cassette tape into the deck of the car, Bonzo’s Montreux playing softly.
“You get more and more awesome the more I get to know you,” he told her, biting his lip when he looked over at her. She pursed her lips as she smiled, entertained by his flirty, deep voice and his suggestive wink.
“Awesome?” She smirked, putting the box back into its place. He turned to look at her once more, but he couldn’t look away from the softness and mischief in her eyes the whole time.
“Perfect?” He offered, glancing away from her, taking in the big green trees he’s already familiar with. “Kissable? Hotter?” He suggested, smiling coquettishly. “Mmm, extra fuckable?” She looked at him through her lashes, her cheeks pink, and her breath unstable.
Dean shifted in his seat and sat up straight, looking away from her arousing fuck-me gaze with his fingers tightening around the black steering wheel of his heavy car. Heat flooded the area between her legs at his reaction. Her clit pulsed in pace with her heartbeat and she bit her lip. A million ideas streamed through her mind. A million ideas to relieve the need she had to be fucked by Dean once more.
The tension in the car was nearly as thick as the first night they had sex, it made her breathless, her heart pounded heavily with lust in her chest, and her pussy squeezed around nothing, instantly remembering the sex they had in his garage before they left.
She placed her hand on his thigh and he inhaled sharply, quickly turning to look at her with a deep blush on his face. Dean relaxed his grip on the steering wheel, and held it with only one hand, to put one of his hands over hers. She bit her lip and watched the side of his gorgeous face as he guided her hand higher.
She smiled brightly and lifted her hand beneath his to smack his hand away. He chuckled, taking a quick glance over at her playfulness.
“You said you’d fuck me anywhere, at any time,” she leaned over slightly, placing her arms on top of the seat, and resting her chin on her crossed arms. He glanced at her, exhaling shakily as she held his gaze through her lashes. “You promised me a lot of things, actually,” she moved her hand away, tracing his jaw with her fingers. His eyes fluttered shut. “Dean…” she murmured, moving her fingers up to his lips, and he opened his eyes before he could swerve too far from the road. “I recall a few things you seemed to really like.”
She leaned forward suddenly, licking his earlobe mischievously. Dean moaned softly, his eyelids heavy with lust, and his eyes clouded over with arousal.
“Like making me choke on your cock,” she whispered into his ear, dragging her lips down his neck. He groaned softly and shuddered, squirming as he attempted to focus on driving. “I want you in my mouth, Dean,” she purred, sliding her hand down his chest and stomach slowly, “right here, right now.”
“Fuck,” Dean moaned, lifting his hips up into her hand when she cupped his cock over his jeans. She sucked gently at his pulse, making the faded mark on his neck return. “Yes,” he whispered, biting his lip hard.
“I love when you get hard for me, baby,” she murmured, squeezing his cock.
“I need you,” he rasped, “I want to see your pretty mouth wrapped around me.” She laughed softly, unbuckling herself from the seat and then him. He chewed on his lip and focusing on driving as he got closer to the Bunker while she unbuckled his belt. He lifted his hips after she unzipped his jeans, allowing her to lower them slightly until his cock was free.
“You’re aware of how blessed you are, right?” She teased, biting her lip, sliding her fingers up his cock. Dean gasped and then he laughed breathlessly, his dick twitching at her delicate touch.
“I’m aware of how much you like my dick?” He smiled down at her shyly. She licked her lips, and rolled her eyes at his modesty. She kissed the tip, then gently placed her hand around the base to kiss her way down.
“Have you heard the sounds I make when you fuck me?” She whispered against the velvety skin of his cock. He grunted softly when she flattened her tongue and licked her way back up. “I don’t make those often, by the way,” she said casually, swirling her tongue around the tip.
“Here I thought you were a good girl,” he breathed out, lowering one hand into her hair, to try and push her down on his cock. She squeezed his cock, jerking her hand up and down quickly, then sucked on the tip hard, causing him to choke on a moan. She pulled away with a loud suckling sound that made him curse under his breath.
“I went over to your place without underwear, and then I asked you to talk dirty as I sucked your dick, and then I begged you to cum inside me. What part of all that made you think I was a good girl?” She lapped the precum that beaded from his tip, her mouth watering at the taste of him.
“The morning after,” he answered softly, his emerald eyes flickering to hers. She stopped licking his cock momentarily to consider his words, the tenderness in his voice causing her stomach to flutter. It was things like this, his words, his actions… things like that about Dean that aroused her even more.
She moaned appreciatively, lowering her mouth over his dick, then pulled up almost all the way off, repeating the motion, and then began sucking, and licking. He moaned her name softly, struggling to focus on driving such a heavy car, but she noticed the slower speed.
She took him deeper into her mouth, gagging slightly when he touched the back of her throat. Dean moaned out a curse, tightening his grip on her hair, pushing her up and down his cock faster. She moaned softly around him, letting him guide her as she sucked her way up his cock, her tongue moving along the underside of his length. Occasionally, her throat constricted around his length as she swallowed.
His hitched breath made her wetter, throaty groans, and desperate grunts made her clit pulse uncomfortably in her warm dress pants. She reached down to press her fingers against her clit and took him all the way down her throat. His hips bucked upwards and the leather around the wheel squeaked under his tight grip, but he never pulled too roughly on her hair.
“Holy fuck,” Dean grunted as she wrapped her hand around the base of his cock when she got to the leaking tip and sucked the taste of his precum. Then, she began to twist her hand around him, following the path of her mouth up and down, until she heard rocks and dirt crunching beneath the wheels of the car, and the Impala coming to a complete stop.
Dean relaxed completely as he set the car in park, leaning his head backwards. The sounds of his pleasure and the wet sound of her mouth and throat getting fucked competed for volume. Dean lifted his shirt and gazed down at her, thrusting his hips up faster into her mouth.
She blinked away tears to stare into his eyes, her cheeks and ears burning hot, her jaw and lips sore from taking him. She moaned softly again, letting him push his cock up into her throat, catching the blurred ecstasy on his face. His red lips trapped between white teeth, his freckled cheeks rosy, and his brows furrowed.
“I’m gonna cum, baby,” he panted, lovingly moving her hair from her pink and wet face. She hummed around him in approval and closed her eyes, focusing on bringing him closer to his climax. Dean’s thrusts began to stutter and he started to get more vocal, arousing her further. “God, I love your mouth,” he whispered, thrusting upwards hard as he came in thick, hot spurts down her throat. “Fuck, yeah,” he moaned, shuddering at the feeling of her swallowing around him.
Dean pulled her off him despite not finishing, his cum dripping down his cock despite her best efforts to collect everything. That seemed to be the purpose. When she opened her eyes, he was watching her with his tongue poking between his teeth, looking both cute and sexy.
“What?” She asked, and kept tugging at his cock as his cum dribbled down from the slit, and over her hand. She tightened her hold around the heat of him in her wet hand. She bit her wet, swollen lip, and sat up, slowly stopping the strokes of her hand to watch him.
Dean leaned forward to kiss her all of the sudden, her heart lurching in her chest, the way it always did when he kissed her. He held her jaw, licking her spit and his cum from her lip. He moaned into her mouth, pulling her face closer, meeting her warm tongue with his. She let go of his dick, and smiled against his mouth, before pulling away.
Dean chased her lips, but she pushed his chest roughly so he stayed pressed against the seat, laughing quietly. He smiled leaning forward anyway, his nose brushing against hers, lips agonisingly remaining a few millimetres away from hers.
“Can we have sex in your old bed?” She whispered, tugging gently at his jacket, her lips brushing against his. He panted against her mouth, whining softly in attempts to make her kiss him.
“Yes, whatever you want,” he responded quietly.
She hummed when she kissed Dean once more; a passionate, long, and deep kiss with tongue and teeth that made her needier. She helped readjust him as they made out, a hot and breathy exchange before heading back on the road to the Bunker.

I was thinking about something for the Ice Flower AU
It takes place right before the events of By The Fireplace
It starts off with the queen going into labor prematurely. She wasn’t supposed to give birth until after the hunt. Everything goes smoothly & as planned otherwise.
Maybe a sprinkling of Loki’s reaction to seeing & holding his sons for the first time. Being overjoyed with his love for them.
Then there is some sort of conflict because Loki now doesn’t want to leave for the hunt as he does not want to leave his healing queen & newborn sons alone.
The boys miss their father & cry out for him when he is gone but the queen will comfort them & reassure them that he will be back soon enough.
Then “By The Fireplace” follows chronologically
That is all.
Just something that came to me here at 3am & I needed to get it out because I need to see how you write this. You always take my ideas & turn them into something better so I’m excited for this one as I’ve been obsessed with the Ice Flower AU as of late

Loki stood in his presence chamber; hands folded behind his back. The king of Jotunheim was gazing absentmindedly out of the window; watching how the harsh winter conquered more of his home with each passing day. It was definitely time for the royal men to go on the last big hunt before it would be too late. He knew that; was more than aware of this - but it was the last thing he could think about now. Not after he had taken his heavily pregnant wife to the healers only a mere hour ago, because she wasn't feeling good at all. Sure, it could be just a normal side effect; especially now since she was close to birth - but not close enough. Her due date was determined after the planned hunt. Not before, and now the king feared for his queen and unborn children.
What if something was wrong? Or Norns forbid, what if she went into labour?
Loki swallowed hard and gently shook his head; trying to get out of his thoughts. It wasn't easy though. He had been sent off by the healers instantly and was now doomed to wait here alone in his audience chambers for anyone to tell him what was happening.
It was cruel.
The king sighed; redirected his gaze from the window to the crackling fireplace and over to his desk. A lot of work was still waiting for him, but he couldn't focus. He couldn't think. Not until he was informed about the health of his family. He ran a hand through his raven curls and started to walk up and down in the spacious room - impatiently. Not to know what was going on ate him up inside.
At some point, he poured himself a mug of fine Asgardian mead and took a big sip; feeling the alcohol burn in his throat. Just as the king wanted to refill the empty mug, a loud knock sounded from door. "Come in!" He immediately turned; seeing one of the healers entering the big room. Carelessly placing the mug on his desk, Loki hurried over to the elderly female Jotun. "How is she? How is my wife? And what about the children?" The healer closed the door behind herself; ensuring privacy. "Your majesty," she curtsied. "I need to you stay calm. A panicking husband won't help the queen in labour."
Loki’s eyes almost popped out of his head. "L-Labour? S-She's in labour?!"
"Yes."
That was the moment the usually so composed king lost it. He started to walk in a circle; hands in his hair and quietly cursing in old Norse. "My king... I know this is hard, but we all need you to stay calm." "I can't!" Loki chanted; feeling how he was beginning to lose his nerves. "My wife is carrying twins and now she's in premature labour! What if our children aren't ready to be born yet?! What if-" The collected female Jotun, which Loki knew already since he had been a child, placed a hand on the his shoulder. Something only she was allowed to do. No other member of the royal staff. "Loki... Your wife is stable and ready to give birth and so are your children. It's merely two weeks before her calculated due date."
The gesture and words caused Loki to snap back to the here and now. He took a deep breath; trying to calm down. "Nothing will happen to them?" She shook her head. "No, my king. The pain she endures is normal. She's having contractions and is really close to giving birth. The twins are fully developed and ready to survive outside the womb."
Loki needed a moment to sort his thoughts and feelings and to process the information. "I-I'm going to be a father soon..." He mumbled; more to himself than the healer, but she heard it anyway. A soft smiled darted over her face. "Indeed, your highness." "I wish to see Y/N. Can I... stay with her during the birth?" The elderly woman's azure lips pressed together into a thin line. "Better not, my king. A birth is not for the faint-hearted." Loki crossed his arms; puffing his chest. "I am not faint-hearted. I am a warrior. Nothing is able to shock me."
The Jotun healer cleared her throat and adjusted her half moon glasses. "I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, my king, but... When Prince Thor visited last month and told you about his children's birth, the guards had to take you to the medical wing, because you fainted..." Loki's cheeks reddened at her words and suddenly was all his confidence gone. He forgot about that.
"B-But my wife, I-I-I..." He sighed; hanging his head. "We will take good care of the queen, my king. I'll return as soon as your children are born." Loki couldn't do much more than nod; knowing that he more than likely wouldn't be able to see how much you were suffering. He would've been no help.
Tumblr media
The next two hours were awful for the king. Minutes ticked by so slowly. All the waiting and inability to do something to help you or his yet unborn children drove him insane. He walked up and down, left and right; literally walking a marathon - he was that uneasy and nervous. At some point Loki even sat down on the chair at his desk; desperately trying to occupy himself with work, but it was in vain. He re-read the lines over and over again and was just not able to focus. Endless more minutes passed, until a guard stormed inside his audience chambers; totally out of breath, but smiling from ear to ear. "My king! The healers sent me to bear the news that the queen just gave birth to healthy twins!"
Loki’s knees almost gave in at the guard's words and realisation punched him right into his gut... He was a father now - officially. "I-I have to go." Without saying another word, the king stormed past the guard and sprinted down the hallways towards the medical wing. His heart pounded violently against his chest once he stood in front of the big, wooden doors which would lead him into a new, exciting life. Loki took a deep breath and pushed the door open. It was mostly dark inside; the curtains pulled in front of a few windows to prevent the last rays of sunshine of the year to illuminate the room. Only a few candles were lit. Barely enough to see, but it created a cosy, warm atmosphere.
Loki looked around, felt a bit helpless since no healer was to be seen - but then he heard the soft call of his name.... "Loki..." It was weak and soft, but nevertheless happy and full of love. His head snapped around to face the back of the room - and there you were; laying inside a big bed. A white nightgown engulfed your body, just like the warm blankets and furs you were tucked underneath, and in your arms- The king's breath hitched in his throat.
Two tiny bundles.
He felt like crying; wanted to scream his happiness from the rooftops of the palace.
Your heart melting giggle brought him back down to Jotunheim, though. "Why are you just standing there, my king? Come, meet your sons." His head started to spin as he walked over to the bed.
"S-Sons?"
You nodded; shifted one bundle to rest on your chest, so that you were able to stretch out your hand towards your husband. Loki approached you slowly and placed his hand in yours. Gentle ruby eyes settled on you - and the newest additions to the royal family. You ran your thumb over the back of his hand; giving him a happy smile. "Congratulations, king Loki Laufeyson of Jotunheim. You are a father now."
Loki was speechless. All he could do was let the tears stream down his face. You smiled even wider; touched by your husband's reaction. "Say hello to them." The king needed another short moment. Everything was just so overwhelming. "M-May I hold my sons?" You giggled, "Of course." and handed firstly the tiny boy over to his father, who definitely looked more like you. Fair skin; golden-blond locks on his head.
Loki took him with slightly shaky hands; but once he felt the comforting weight of the newborn on his arm, he relaxed and looked down. The baby had his eyes closed and nose scrunched up; clearly not amused by the loss of his mama's warmth and touch. "No, no, no, don't cry, sweetling. I'm your daddy," the king whispered and lowered his head to press a lingering kiss on the infant's head; inhaling his scent. His... He was his - and so was his twin brother. The king relished in this intimate moment for a few seconds, until a soft whine attracted his attention. His other son. Loki looked up; curiously. You giggled. "I think someone is sensing that his father is around..." He couldn't help but to smile at your words, before slowly and gently switching the babies. Now he held his second son - who was a spitting image of himself. Black fuzz on his head and azure skin; peppered with familiar marks and ridges. "Hello, tiny prince," Loki cooed; eyes stuck on the baby, as he touched his small, soft, warm hand with his pointer finger.
You watched Loki bond with his newborn sons; smiling.
"Are you happy, my love?" Ruby eyes looked up to meet your Y/E/C ones once more. "More than happy, my queen. Words are not enough to express how thankful I am that you've given me not one but two children." Your smiled widened; butterflies erupting inside your belly. "You had an important part in this, too, you know..." "That may be true, but you carried them, birthed them and are going to nurture them... You are doing all the hard work. I just did the fun part."
You laughed softly; shaking your head. "I love you, my king."
Loki leaned in closer - carefully, not to hurt one of the babies, and kissed your lips softly; lovingly. Then his eyes roamed your body; slight concern reflecting inside those stunning rubies. "How are you feeling, Flower? You look exhausted..." He noted the dried sweat on your skin and the strands of hair who stuck on your forehead.
You nodded. "I am. It's been excruciating five hours of labour, after all..." Loki kissed you again; whispering against your lips: "I am so so proud of you, my queen. So proud." You buried your free hand in his long raven locks; feeling him close.
"Rest now, Flower. I'll look after our sons."
Tumblr media
The first few exciting days of being a first-time father passed by quickly for Loki. He decided to leave all the important work to his advisors and just focus on you and the twins. He wanted to spend the first days - preferably weeks of their lifes with them and not leaving them out of his sight. He wanted to be here for you and help wherever he could and just stop being the king of an entire realm for a little while. This would've worked out just fine - if it weren't for the hunt and the lurking danger of the onset of winter...
"Your majesty..." One of Loki's advisors approached him; cautiously. "The winter storms are about to hit Jotunheim in barely a few days. The time is running out. We have to do the hunt now." The king scoffed; holding Váli tightly cradled against his bare chest, while he signed some documents. "I am aware of that, Skard, but as you can clearly see, I have other duties to tend to at the moment." He looked down at his sleeping son; smiling. "I understand that, my king, but-" "There's no but," Loki interrupted Skard immediately. "My presence is needed here. I have to stay with my healing wife and newborn children. Just send Ymir on the hunt with the best warriors of our kingdom. They will make it without me." Skard shook his head. "No, my king. We both know that Ymir can't lead them alone. Besides, it's tradition and your obligation, King Loki. So hard it sounds - and I thoroughly apologise for this, but it doesn't matter if the queen just gave birth. Your folk awaits this from you. They count on you."
Loki sighed. He knew that Skard was actually right, but all his primal instincts worked against his wit; demanding from him to stay with his lover and babies. "I'm going to talk to the queen about this. Accept my decision and leave." Skard took a bow, "Yes, your highness." and left the audience chambers.
Loki sighed once again; pinching the bridge of his nose and decided that this was a problem he would deal later with. For now, he had other work to tend to.
Unfortunately, though, had Váli other plans...
He was getting restless and antsy in his arms; seemingly always on the edge of crying. His tiny lips were formed into a pout; mouth opening and closing - telling Loki that he was hungry. Well... Seemed like he would have that conversation with you now and not later. "Come on, sweetling. It's mealtime." Loki stood up from his chair and carried the bundled up infant in one arm to yours and his chambers. On his way, he felt the little boy latch on Loki's bare skin; in search of his food source. It caused the king to chuckle. "Apologies, little snowflake. I'm afraid I can't give you what you're searching for. Just hold on for another minute. You'll be with your mama soon."
Once he had opened the door to the chambers and tiptoed inside, his eyes searched for you. They found you rather quickly. You were laying in bed; resting - like most of the time, since the birth had taken much of your strength and left you hurt. You still weren't able to properly walk. It got better each day, sure, but you needed time to heal.
"My queen?" The king called out softly; in case you were sleeping. But you weren't. You lifted your head; smiling at your husband as he approached the bed. "Hello, my love." Loki found you wrapped up snugly into a think blanket, which was covered by a fur. He could also make out the tiny blue head with black curls, which peaked out from the blanket.
He smiled. Áki was sleeping on your chest.
"I didn't wake you, Flower, did I?" You shook your head. "No, don't worry." He sat down on the edge of the bed beside you; placing a kiss on your forehead. "How are you feeling tonight?" "Better, but still exhausted." He nodded; kissing you properly this time. Although, the kiss was interrupted by Váli, who let out a loud whine; making himself noticeable - and his hunger. "Ohh, somebody is hungry, eh?" "Indeed. I actually wanted to keep on working for another hour, but well... I guess I'll just continue tomorrow." He smiled; watching you shift underneath the pile of blankets. "Are you cold, love?" "Uh.Huh. Like always around that time of the year. Winter is coming. I can feel it." The king eyed you for a moment. "Hand Áki over. I'll place him inside his crib, so that you can feed Váli." "Alright." Loki lifted the sleeping baby carefully up in his free arm and placed him gently inside his crib. Then he handed you Váli and shortly returned to his other son; making sure that he was properly tucked in and especially warm.
"Oh, and Flower..." Loki started; facing you again with a smile, while he started to get rid of his armour. "Shift a little bit, please. I'm going to make sure you're warm enough." He watched how a shiver ran down your arms as you moved; primal instincts egging him on to keep his mate warm. Loki quickly slipped inside the bed behind you and made you rest against his upper body. "Better, Flower?" You nodded; cuddling against him. "Yes. Much better."
You fed Váli then, with Loki’s hand supporting the infant. You loved having your sons and husband close. You couldn't deny that.
After a few moments of silence with just the sweet coos of Váli filling the spacious room, Loki decided to address the hunt topic.
"Flower?" "Mhm?" "I must talk with you about something..." You turned your head to give him a smile. "I'm all ears, my king." He sighed. "It's about the winter hunt. I know that we have not much time left to go hunting. Winter is coming - fast. My advisors told me that as well, but..." "But?" "I... I don't want to leave you and our newborn children alone now. I refuse to do so." You blindly lifted one hand; feeling for his cheek. You cupped it. It was an awkward angle, but you didn't care. "Why, my king? We are safe here, in the palace and the lovely caregivers will help me if I need it. It's all good, my love. You can go. You should go. It's important." The king scoffed. "See, my love? Exactly that is the problem. I should be the one helping you. I should be the one taking care of you and our offspring. Not the caregivers!"
"Is this your inner Jotun speaking again, dear husband?"
Loki blushed. "Most likely, yes."
You burped Váli; placed a kiss on his forehead and handed the drowsy, milk-drunk bavy over to his father, who reached over with his long arms and placed him in his crib; wrapping him up inside a warm fur, too. Once Loki was finished, you immediately turned in his embrace; snuggling against him. "I understand that. I really do. I couldn't picture leaving the boys alone. Not in my wildest dreams. It's hard, I know, but..." You sighed. "You are the king. Our folk counts on you, my love. They need you. It's your obligation."
"I am very aware of that - as well as of the fact that I won't be able to escape this. I have to go." You smiled; kissing his chin. "Just think about the wonderful things which await you when you return home." Loki pulled you closer against his muscular chest. "Honestly, this the only reason what will keep me going on the hunt... Returning to my family."
Tumblr media
The following week, in which Loki was away was heavy. Heavier than you anticipated. Sure, the caregivers helped you where they could, but it just wasn't the same. You missed him. Badly - and so did the twins. They were only infants, yes, but their senses were heightened, due to Loki's Frost Giant genes. Therefore, they sensed exactly that their father wasn't around.
Something they definitely didn't like.
You did your best to reassure them; giving them as much motherly love as you could. But you were not Loki. You only hoped that he'd return fast...

kirby’s kinktober (eight)
virginity//reno
i don’t usually do author’s note but this is the longest thing I’ve written in two years if not ever?? so if you like it or the rest of my kinktober stuff i am BEGGING for you to reblog and comment. the algorithm doesn’t count likes. and as always minors/ageless blogs don’t interact. also, use lube and pee after sex, kids.
Tumblr media
“virgin surgeon” reno who loves you and loves the idea of corrupting you, his cute inexperienced girlie.
reno who loves being the person to introduce you to pleasure you’ve never felt before, fingers stroking over your panties.
“god you’re soaking baby. you’ve really never had someone make cum before?” he gives a teasing smirk that makes you feel all sorts of embarrassment. despite the mischief in those green eyes, he coos with genuine affection, hand shifting softly across your cheek.
“aw. don’t worry baby, i’m just teasin’. i get it really. you’ve been busy being so amazing and badass, there’s never been a man or woman good enough to touch you. well,” he chuckles, “‘cept me, of course. and I…” he gets down onto his knees and starts kissing at your thighs as you stand, legs spread just a bit and hand covering your heated face.
“i am honored.”
his index finger hooks to your panties and pulls the thin covering to the side, exposing the way that just him rubbing his fingers onto your hard clit makes you drip.
“reno…”
“ssshhh. now. you ever made yourself cum?” he snickers, looking up at your face and his you gasp when his soft thin lips kiss the hard little bud.
“actually don’t answer that, baby. i like thinking that i get all your firsts - first orgasms included. now sit back on the bed baby.” he rubs your outer thighs as your trembling legs take a seat and attempt to cross.
“no, no, no. keep these open. and take your panties off. relax.” you do as he says because clearly he knows what he’s doing and he sticks his tongue out, letting you see the piercing in the middle as he twists his fingers into tiny circles around your slick covered core.
“reno-“
“mhm?” he responds, absentmindedly. he’s clearly more focused on leaving little closed mouth kisses on your now uncovered pussy and the skin of the thighs surrounding it.
“‘s not fair!” if his hands weren’t subduing your legs you’d be lightly kicking like a petulant child and he finds it adorable.
“all’s fair in love and war, baby girl. tell me, what’s the matter? ya scared?”
“n-no! you’re just… still in clothes and all focused on me. you should feel good too.”
he laughs. this time not in his usual teasing way but out of a genuine inability to reconcile your lewd intentions with just how?? damn?? cute??? you are.
“d-don’t laugh at me! you know i’ve never done this before.” you pout, almost closing your legs again before he rests his cheek on your thigh.
“i know cutie. it’s just… it’s so freaking adorable how much ya care.” he leans up to kiss you, not taking his gaze off of yours. “taste yourself on my lips? how juicy you are? getting to feel all those juices and all that heat on my dick from the girl i love,” he sighs as if he’s daydreaming, watching you yelp out as a thin, long finger finally penetrates your hole, “that’s gonna be enough for me to feel good.”
“y-you love me?” you question through bated breath as his finger explores inside you.
reno had never said it before to you or any girl who he’s dated or “helped” but now it seems all soft and genuine.
“ ‘course i do. don’t forget that, okay baby? i know you’re scared bc i’ve got experience but ‘m here to help you. to love you.”
he won’t say but he’s never been this slow and gentle before - nor has his teasing and praise been so genuine. partially out of love but partially because no other girl has caved to his touch like you or been so inexperienced.
virginal? yes. but not even having made themselves cum? with a pussy this pretty and soft? he wants to savor it. to savor you.
“and to love this pretty cunt. it’s so hard to hold back baby.”
“it is?” he can hear your voice change pitch when he slides another finger in, scissoring and swirling to prep and stretch you, changing pace with each of your moans.
“baby. if gettin’ you ready wasn’t so important, I’d want to sink my whole cock in and fu-“ he catches himself, “make love to your pretty body asap.”
you don’t even have time to react to the statement before his fingers touch that sweet little spot inside. you muffle a cry as he tortures and touches it faster.
“don’t. don’t hide such pretty noises.”
“reno!!”
“i know. i know that’s your spot right? an’ i’m the first to touch it.” there’s an almost maniacal glee in his voice.
“feels… feels weird!” your hips jerk and try to pull away but his other hand holds you, pushing you into the pleasure by the small of your back.
“cutie, breathe. It’s supposed to feel like that before you cum. you want me to make you cum, yeah? don’t run, i’ve got you.”
you nod, tears welling and a surprising mix of a moan and a whimper leaving your lips when his tongue plunges in, open mouthed kisses and sucking motion overwhelming your clit as you buck your hips into it.
“reno! reno -reno -reno!”
his cock hardens at your overstimulated cries but also at the thoughts on his head. holy shit - if your cunt is this juicy and tight on his tongue and fingers, he’d get fucking addicted to how it feels on his growing cock.
those thoughts came to fruition the second your fingers pull him off by his soft red hair. his eyes meet your teary ones and he almost feels a pit in his stomach - please don’t be crying. please don’t tell him to stop.
“r-reno. no more.” you sniffle.
fuck. no. did he fuck up? he fucked up and ruined his chance. perhaps even your relationship -
“wanna cum for the first time on your…your… your c-cock…”
reno who feels his heart flutter at that. who can’t hide the intense grin as he pins your down. at seeing your innocent lips struggle to even say “cock.”
you weren’t crying because he’d done something wrong - but because he was doing it all too right. you were heaving and shaking from making him pull away. ruining your own orgasm.
which, he chuckles to himself as he undresses, is probably what you’d been doing since the first time you’d tried to make yourself cum.
“hold your legs back. yeah like that. keep it nice and wide open for me. that way it’ll slide in nice and deep. with how wet you are it’ll go in nice and easy. i’ll even start you little by little - gonna treat this pussy so well.”
he whispers in your ear, grinding on your wet, sloppy core. even just talk you through it is taking all of his self restraint.
-
reno’s a liar.
he was right that it doesn’t hurt because of the excess of lubricant you’ve provided him, but he barely takes it little by little.
it feels like mere seconds between him pushing in the head of his cock and sinking balls deep.
“holy shit!” his eyes widen. he’s taken virginities before but never has anything sucked him in, so plush and perfect and soaking him. he almost cums on entry, ruining any chance of fully going slow when he touches your g-spot, the bundle of nerves making you seize and trap him in.
“your fucking cunt doesn’t want to let me go, pretty girl. breathe. breathe and relax and I’ll make you cream. you make me feel better than anyone or anything else, love.”
that comment does manage to make you relax a bit, mind clearing enough to match his pace as his red strands of hair stick to his forehead from sweat, your loving touch gently sweeping them away.
he manages to pull out and slam back into that pretty spot, as far back as he can go, making you whimper and cry.
reno’s not sure which sounds turn him on more - the ones from the bed, your mouth or your pussy - but it keeps him thrusting and grinding until he fogs up your innocent little brain and your body molds to his.
“keep those legs open, pretty girl. you don’t rest until I make this pussy cream and don’t even think about running from it. you need to cum, dontcha?”
and so he makes it happen. he kisses you deeply, thumbs your clit and strokes deep and suddenly you clench and climax around him.
you look so lost in pleasure.
you cry, wrapping your arms around his neck to hold him against you. in the aftermath of your orgasm he can't resist a few more thrusts before pulling out and losing himself as well, dripping onto the bed sheets.
reno who, thoroughly satisfied with himself, kisses your forehead.
“that was amazing. you’re amazing. you’re the only girl for me, baby. let’s take a piss and get you all cleaned up and massaged.”

Semi-Romantic Headcanons
A/N: I know pretty much nothing about Garreth and Amit so, sorry if theirs are off or just completely ooc. And for Seb and Omi, I’ve read so much fanfiction for them that I’ve forgotten what they’re canonly like. Probably lots of filler, I wanted to make sure they all had around the same amount of words. I like Seb’s the least, it’s so cringy 😭Also the pic below took so long to make omg.
Tumblr media
Sebastian S. + Ominis G. + Garreth W. + Amit T. x Male Reader (Seperate)
Sebastian Sallow:
Tumblr media
Very flirtatious
Always coming up with witty flirty responses to about anything you say.
Flirt back and he’s in awe, absolutely love-struck.
He’s very clingy, gets really jealous if he sees you talking to others he knows are into you.
Wants your attention constantly on him.
Not-so-subtly lets others you’re talking to know that you’re together.
Wraps your arm around his waist or goes for a back hug, eyes glaring at the person you’re speaking to.
Once the person walks away, you look back at the shorter boy and he’s innocently staring back at you.
Loves spending time with you, no matter what the two of you are doing.
Likes getting up to mischief with you.
If you’re not so into that though, he’s cool with just chilling too.
He appreciates the quiet moments too, with so much going on in his life, he loves to just lay against you and relax.
Prefers being held though, it just reminds him that he’s safe and doesn’t have anything to worry about.
Such a goofy romantic too.
You two lie in bed, Sebastian in your arms as you place giggly kisses all over each other's faces.
Kisses are his favourite, no matter the type.
Loves any time where your lips are connected to him.
Really likes when you kiss his freckles, his shoulders are crowded with them.
His shoulders and neck will start to redden at the contact and you can’t help but laugh as Sebastian tries to deny his blushing.
Also likes when you just count his freckles
He’ll just jay in your lap as your fingers dance across his face, eyes concentrating as you count out loud.
Wearing such a silly grin as he watches your eyes scan over him.
He offers to duel you in the Undercroft, suggesting it so the both of you can get better at it.
Puts his all into trying to beat you, but always ends up losing.
Fixes his tie and cockily states that he “Lost on purpose” “If he actually put in the effort, he’d hurt you, and he didn’t want that.”
You laugh as you nod, accepting his words to spare him from the embarrassment.
Dates in the Undercroft, or any secret place he can take you.
As much as he loves having your relationship displayed in public, he loves being with you in private more.
He’s got quite a bit on his plate so he likes being alone to talk to you about those sensitive things.
He finds a lot of comfort, not only in your actions, but in you as a person.
He doesn’t crack often, but when he does, you’re his go to person for reassurance.
Prefers to sit in your lap in silence as you comfortingly rub your hand up and down his back.
The sound of your breathing and the feeling of your hands are enough to calm him down.
Ominis Gaunt:

Loves your touch
Not necessarily the romantic sort, just any physical connection.
He can’t see you so he loves the feeling of your hand on top of his, or placed on his thigh to know that you’re there.
He’s not the biggest fan of PDA, so you might have to just sit really close beside him in class instead.
Your knees or shoulders touching.
In private though, he can’t get enough of your affection.
Pretends to not enjoy it but his face erupts with the slightest romantic gesture.
Really likes it when you kiss his beauty marks
He’s definitely memorized where they are now thanks to you.
He’ll keep his hands on you a lot, most of the time on your face.
His palm grazing over all your features as he compliments them.
He appreciates your beauty through touch.
Tell him how beautiful he is.
He loses his train of thought and sits there with a goofy grin.
“Thank you, Dear”
Then tell him how pretty his smile is and he’s covering his face while his cheeks burn.
Lots of study dates.
Likes going somewhere private for them so you’re either in the Undercroft or in your dorms.
Prefers listening to you read rather than using his wand.
Your voice always brings butterflies into his stomach.
Insists that you read to him, he’ll excuse it by saying that he can’t be bothered to use his wand and it’ll just be easier if you read it for the both of you.
You know what he’s doing though, teasing him about it but still reading your assignments to the other.
Rests his head in your lap as you talk to him about your day.
Mumbling every now and then when you ask for his input, but otherwise he just silently listens.
Truly can’t get enough of your voice.
Will fall asleep so quickly if you whisper in his ear while scratching his head or rubbing your fingers against his palm.
He’s such a peaceful sleeper
You’re so grateful he lets you see him in such a vulnerable state.
And of course you show him how much you trust him by telling him all your deepest secrets.
A decent chunk of your nights are filled with comforting whispers and muffled sobs.
You two are always there for each other, no matter how late or how dumb the reason may be.
I’d like to think he’s good at comforting others, he knows what he wished people would’ve told him when he was younger and can find all the right things to say.
On nights like that, his grip is iron.
Whether he’s comforting you, or on the receiving end of the comfort, his arms would be so tight around you.
Touch in those vulnerable moments is exactly what the both of you need.
Let’s end this on a positive note, he really enjoys spooning.
His head dug into your shoulder as all he can feel, smell, and sense is you.
Garreth Weasley:
Tumblr media
Type of guy to claim to be a master at relationships and swooning people.
But as soon as you asked him out, he was so awkward, stumbling over his words as he accepts your confession.
Brags about you to everyone, all the time.
He’s so grateful to have you and he wants the whole school to know.
Definitely the most unintentionally chaotic couple at Hogwarts.
The two of you are always getting into trouble for failed potions recipes.
Accidently making a mess of the potions classroom.
Detentions become weekly dates for the both of you, the room full of laughter as you scrub away the mess you made.
It ends up taking an extra few hours to finish cleaning but it’s not like either of you mind.
When you guys aren’t in detention, you guys go on proper dates to Hogsmeade.
Takes you to Honeydukes more often than not.
Wants to spoil you by buying anything you want from there.
If you insist on spoiling him though, he won’t deny.
He’s really thankful if you do, demanding that he treats you to something next time.
Big fan of cuddles
Loves to just lie in your arms in your common rooms on the weekends.
Face planted into your chest as he mumbles about whatever.
He rambles a lot
Pretty much all the time
When you're walking to classes, in classes, while you're studying and before the two of you fall asleep.
A lot of his rambling is about his potions
He loves having someone to tell all his findings to.
If you're a quiet person, he'll love that you're such a good listener, and he really appreciates you dealing with his rants.
If you're like him, the both of you are blabbing all day. Conversations never ending. From when you wake to when you sleep.
Randomly kisses you all throughout the day.
Like all over your face, just jumps in mid conversation and pecks your cheek.
He has no shame, doing it in class and in front of your classmates too.
Gets really flustered if you do it back to him.
Honestly loves just any sort of PDA, like I said before, he loves bragging about you so he’ll love having your arm around his waist as he shows you off.
Or just throwing his own arm around your shoulder while you talk to someone else.
It’s part wanting to brag and part being a little jealous.
You assure him that he’s the only one you want, but it doesn’t stop him from letting the whole school know you’re his and he’s yours.
Kiss his freckles, it gets him all giggly and weak in the knees.
Kiss the ones on his cheeks to the ones down his neck and then to his back, he’s an absolute sucker for it.
His face will turn as red as his hair.
Amit Thakkar:
Tumblr media
He’s definitely a nervous wreck, all throughout your relationship.
He wouldn’t be the best with words at the start, instead sharing his hobbies and interests with you.
Most of your dates would be up in the astronomy tower.
Amit handing you the telescope each time he finds a new constellation he wants to show you.
Always mentioning how they remind him of your beauty.
The way they shine as bright as your eyes.
Cheesy astronomy pick-up lines he probably learnt from Garreth.
“Look at the stars, look how they shine for you.” “You are my sun, my moon and all of my stars.” “If a star fell from the sky every time I thought of you, there would be none left in the sky”
Honestly, he’s such a gentleman though.
If you guys aren’t in the astronomy tower, you’re out in the fields, hand-in-hand as the two of you lay back and stargaze.
Loves to do things you like too, he’ll try any of your hobbies.
He doesn’t mind what the two of you are doing, as long as you’re with each other.
He struggles with small talk so he likes to just lie on you or sit beside you, enjoying the silence together.
Really enjoys the feeling of your hands in his hair.
Whenever he’s feeling nervous or stressed out, just place a hand in his hair, he’ll immediately relax.
If the two of you are in bed and you play with his hair, he’ll pass out straight away.
He just finds it so comforting.
I feel like he tends to overwork himself a lot, or just forgets to sleep while studying.
So once it gets late, you just carefully pull him away, promising him he’ll get it done tomorrow and to just focus on sleep now.
He’s thankful that you’re there for him, after meeting you, he’s been getting much more sleep.
He’s not sure how to kiss, and whenever the two of you do, he accidentally messes it up.
So he’s just resorted to kissing your hands or your cheek, places he can’t kiss you wrong.
He loves when you quickly peck his lips, but anything more than that and he’s stumbling out apologies after nearly eating your face off.
You find it adorable and don’t really mind when he messes up.
You tell him but he’s usually too busy worrying about how foolish he looked.
Just give him a few pecks on the cheek and he’ll stop apologizing.
He loves studying with you, he helps a lot with the subjects you struggle with.
Not only because he enjoys any opportunity to learn but you also give him a kiss whenever you understand what the two of you are working on.
His hand will softly rub against his cheek, he thinks about how he wants you to thank him more often.
A/N: These are the best GIFs Tumblr has for them so I’m sorry they look a little weird. These headcanons are just my opinion so please don’t crucify me for them. If your opinion does differ though, please let me know what you think, I’d like to read what people think they’re like, especially the last two.

Hi honey, I have to say I love your stuff. You write absolutely great. Could you do a headcannon on BoB and what type of love would you give them? I mean love at first sight, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, etc. I'd be happiest with Winters and Nixon and Speirs, but do what you will. Thank you.
A/n: here you go my love. When I finally re read the request I realized you might have wanted the pov's reversed but it was too late. Hopefully it's not too bad. I will happily switch it to reader pov if you wish.

-friends to lovers. I don't think that this man thought of romance when he first met you. Attractive? Most definitely. However he had bigger things preoccupying his mind. Yet somehow at some point, you wiggled your way to being one of his best friends. Don't tell nix. Something about you practically scrambled his brain. He doesn't know when in the friendship he fell or if he fell in the very beginning. But when he realized just how much he loved you it was like he jumped off a cliff without a parachute. He knew right then and there you were it for him. He probably felt nervous telling you due to the fact that he never gave off the impression that he likes you. But let's just say the feelings were reciprocated.
"Dick, I have been flirting with you this whole time."
"Really??"
Lewis nixon
- love at first sight. This man took one look at you and said yes. He may not immediately start flirting with you out of respect, but he will damn well be tied to your finger. Will always open doors for you, and give you his coat when you're cold. So many acts of services. At one point you two were at a bar and some private made his way to your side to start a flirty conversation where he swears he got to hands'y. He knew that you were single but he was extremely jealous nonetheless. Eventually he had to leave to get some air. You followed shortly to catch up with him. You confronted him asking what has gotten into him as of late. He never wanted it to come out like this but it sort of just spilled out of him. He rambled on about his feelings before you cut him off with a kiss and a huge grin on your face.
"Shut up nix and take me on a date"
Ronald speirs
-Distance attraction, I don't know what to call it, this is the closest I can get. It just feels right. Basically, Speirs isn't quite love at first sight, he's the guy who needs to really get to know you to start building a relationship like that. However this man has a MASSIVE crush on you. But he's too prideful to say anything seeing how simping for someone isn't exactly in Ron's profile. He just admires you from a distance while simultaneously stuffing his emotions deep down. Much better in his book. Yet he still does his very best to be by your side at every moment possible even though he spends a lot of time trying not to think about how perfect you are. It's you who makes the first move. You obviously like him and you know he does too. It's obvious to everyone but no-one sais a single word. And before you can finish telling him if he wants to go out some time he's already agreeing.
"Yes"
"What?"
"You free Friday?"
Carwood lipton
-childhood friends to lovers. He was the boy next door. You two were friends from first grade through college. Sharing secrets, sleepovers, getting into mischief. Car started crushing on you when you two were teenagers. Said crush continued all the way until you two volunteer to join the paratroopers. War was hell but you seemed to make it just a little bit more manageable. His life in the war picked up significantly and he had a freight train worth of responsibility placed on his shoulders. Yet you never left his side. It wasn't until Austria that he confessed his feelings. He almost felt sick when he told you in fear of losing his best friend. It was short sweet at straight to the point. You were silent for what felt like an eternity. Lip almost took off in fear of rejection. He was stopped in his tracks by the sound of your laughter. He turned to hear you laughing with the biggest smile on your face.
"Clifford carwood Lipton, do you know how long I've been waiting for those words"
Joseph Leibgott
-Enemies to lovers. Your relationship started off Rocky. Your personality clashed and having a civilized conversation was seemingly impossible. Every time your paths crossed it was filled with banter, insults and tension. Sometimes it got to the point where someone needed to intervene. When you would walk into the same room that Joe would be in it's like the air seemed to thicken. The cold stares and passive aggressive comments. As the war progressed your comments never faulted but the tension you ask? It could be felt by an entire room. And all that hate seemed to not leave as bad as a taste in your mouth. Joe knew from the start that he hated and loved you. You know the type of enemies to lovers where it's like 'she's mine' and 'who did this to you?' It's giving that. He got so fed up with replacements trying to whisk you away so he simply grabbed you by the waist and kissed you.
"Don't lever leave with one of them alright sweetheart?"
"Wasn't planning on it"

be my baby.
Tumblr media
if you know how to by my lover, maybe you can be my baby hold me close under the covers, kiss me boy and drive me crazy
author's note: happy valentine's my loves. in honor of this day, please have this sweet, toothache inducing fluff of our favorite bat boys. the lil cas cookie cutness is dedicated to my darling @writingsbychlo to hold her over until i finish a smuttier cassian piece 😈 song inspiration: be my baby by ariana grande
The High Lord tapped his fingers.
The Illyrian general narrowed his eyes.
The shadowsinger crossed his arms.
The three brothers watched one another in quiet contemplation, waiting for the others to break the silence.
In true Cassian fashion, the male sighed and succumbed to his impatience. “So, what’s it going to be?”
Rhysand’s fingers hovered over his ornate desk, scanning the room. “It appears that we find ourselves in a conundrum, brothers.”
Azriel nodded as his shadows curled over his shoulders. “We have to make a decision soon. The day of hearts is coming up.”
“Well the solution is obvious, isn’t it?” Cassian stated. “One of us should just ask her.”
“Yes,” Rhysand agreed, “But which one?”
“Since I’m the one who even introduced her to you two idiots in the first place, I should be the one to ask.”
The High Lord crossed his arms. “Just because you met her first doesn’t give you some sort of claim,” Rhys objected. “Besides, it’s obvious that we have the most chemistry. Did you see the way she looked at me during dinner?”
Azriel rolled his eyes. “Everyone was looking at you, Rhys. Who wears a godsdamned cape to a restaurant? You looked like one of those bloodthirsty vampyrs from the north.”
Cassian snorted in response while Rhys glared at him. “Like you were any better, Cas! Don’t think we haven’t noticed that all of the sleeves on your tunics have suddenly disappeared. We get it, brother. You have biceps.”
The shadowsinger bit back a smile. “It was a bit exhibitionary for my taste.”
“Not all of us can be dark, brooding, mysterious pretty boys, Az.”
“Did you just call Azriel a pretty boy?” Rhys mused.
“That’s besides the point!” said a frustrated Cassian. “Who is going to ask Y/N to be her date for the day of hearts? All three of us obviously like her so how are we going to decide?”
“Maybe we don’t have to,” Azriel mused. His brothers inched closer, eager to hear the shadowsinger’s solution. “It should obviously be her decision. Each of us will come up with our own strategy to ask her out this week. Once she chooses, then we put this rivalry to rest.”
Cassian nodded thoughtfully. “That works for me.”
Rhysand smirked, pleased by the challenge. “May the best male win, then.”
Azriel raised a brow. “I intend to.”
Tumblr media
Rhysand was the first of his brothers to try.
It was early in the week when he invited you for a day out in the city. Never one to turn down brunch and a shopping spree, you found yourself walking down the sunny, cobblestone streets of the Palace of Thread and Jewels. You squeezed the High Lord’s arm as you strolled side by side along the Sidra River, throwing your head back in laughter.
“You’re absolutely vicious, Rhys,” you chastened in a teasing tone. “You almost gave our poor waitress a heart attack from all your shameless flirting.”
Violet eyes twinkled with mischief as he recalled the eventful breakfast. The two of you had indulged yourselves in pancakes, eggs, bacons, and bottomless mimosas, laughing and joking as you regaled each other with your most expensive purchases. Not unlike yourself, Rhys had a penchant for the finer things in life, often splurging on expensive silks and luxurious velvets. The most exorbitant of which was a shirt made of spider silk, which cost nearly a month’s worth of your wages.
Still, Rhysand had nothing on you. One of your shoes had diamonds the size of a fist encased in a transparent heel and the High Lord’s eyes had widened at the damage it had inflicted upon your coffers. It was worth every penny. As the drinks flowed, the more boisterous the both of you grew. The tables around you kept casting amused glances in your direction and your waitress, a pretty little nymph, had nearly fainted as Rhys sent her an apologetic smile.
“It’s not my fault that females find me irresistibly charming,” he retorted with a wink.
“And unbelievably humble, too.” You retorted dryly, “Is there anything you can’t do, High Lord?”
“Pull off a cape, apparently,” Rhys exclaimed with an exaggerated sigh.
You burst into a fit of giggles. “It was an interesting choice,” you mused, earning you a fond eye roll. “But you should really run your more experimental ventures by me first, Rhysie.”
“I won’t make the mistake of not seeking out your expert fashion advice again,” his lips quirked and an easy smirk spread across his devastatingly handsome face. “Though I know you prefer me shirtless and sweaty.”
His words drew the attention of the crowd around you, making you blush. You lightly pinched the inside of Rhysand’s arm. “Silver-tongued Rhys,” you said with an incredulous shake of your head. “One of these days that wicked mouth of yours will get you into trouble.”
“Trouble is the least of what this wicked mouth can get into, darling.”
You rolled your eyes in response and tugged him into one of your favorite stores. Tease or not, you weren’t about to let Rhysand distract you from the goal of this outing. You fully intended to shop until you dropped today. Luckily, the High Lord was more than happy to oblige.
The shopkeeper had a rack of the newest arrivals waiting for you at the back of the store. You were a frequent and loyal customer to the point that the female sequestered the largest dressing room for your use every time you dropped by. Today was no exception. Although now another rack filled with elegant suits and sleek shoes sat beside your own.
You plopped down on the cushioned seat in the middle of the dressing room, swirling a glass of champagne in your hands. “No capes this time, Rhysie.”
The High Lord rolled his eyes before picking out a few choice pieces and disappearing behind a thick privacy curtain. You perused through the dresses the shopkeeper had laid out for you, running your fingers through the fabric and setting aside the clothes that you were most excited to try on first.
Caught up in the beautiful garments, the sound of the curtain being drawn back registered a beat too late. You turned, mouth gaping and hand clenching around the stem of your champagne flute at the sight before you.
Mother save you.
Rhysand emerged from the dressing room clad in a lavender silk shirt that brought out the color of his eyes. The cut of the garment was seamless, accentuating every delicious inch of him. As was his custom, the High Lord left the first few buttons undone which granted you a generous view of his golden brown skin and the intricate tattoos swirling through his chest and shoulders.
Your mouth suddenly felt as dry as the desert.
He cocked his head to the side, waiting on the answer to a question you couldn’t recall hearing. A devious smirk spread across his face as he crossed the room. Rhys pressed something into your hands, his fingers brushing against your palm.
“Would you be a doll and finish me off, darling?”
You were pretty sure that your face was as scarlet as the famous locks of the Vanserras. “W-what?” you stammered.
Rhysand raised an amused brow. “The tie, dear.” You looked down at the slip of fabric in your hand. “I’d love it if you tied me up. You were always better at knotting than I was, if I recall correctly. A most useful skill to have.”
“Charming,” you muttered in bewilderment.
The arrogant, attractive, delicious…stop. You took a deep breath to center yourself before approaching the smug male before you. Rhysand was grinning as you looped the tie around his neck, focusing on the intricate knots. He watched as you worked, his fingers caressing the inside of your wrist. The touch was distracting and you had to re-loop the damned tie three times before you finally got it right.
“You’re quite good at that,” Rhysand mused. “I wonder if it translates to other uses as well.” You tightened the bow around his neck while glaring at him for making you blush so furiously. The High Lord only laughed.
“I’d stop your teasing if I were you. I’m half tempted to cut off your circulation.”
Rhys winked. “Who says I’m not into that, darling?”
Before you could respond, he strolled through the dresses you set aside and picked out a stunning, silver number that glittered against the light. “Shopping for something special?”
You swatted him away and grabbed the dress from his hands. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Rhysand sprawled out on the velvet settee, sipping on champagne and watching you over the lip of the glass. The scrutiny of his gaze awakened a horde of traitorous little butterflies to erupt in your stomach. Flustered, you drew back the private curtain and busied yourself with putting the dress on.
“I am curious,” Rhysand said from the other side. “The day of hearts is coming up, you know.”
As if you could ever forget. You’ve only been fretting over it for the past month. Mor was convinced that Rhysand was going to ask you to spend the holiday together and while the thought was extremely flattering, you couldn’t say yes. Not because you didn’t like Rhysand. Quite the opposite, actually.
But you’d also grown fond of Cassian and Azriel, which only served to complicate the situation. The last thing you wanted to do was get in between the three brothers. You valued their friendships too much and it would break your heart to lose any of them.
The safest route was to establish clear boundaries. You were friends. Just friends—even if a part of you craved more.
You slipped on the dress and straightened, reminding yourself of the same motto you’ve been drilling into your mind over and over again for the last thirty days. Just friends.
Rhysand’s head darted up as you exited. Your heart dropped as soon as your eyes met. The way he was looking at you…that wasn’t how friends looked at one another.
You wrung your hands together, turning your back on him and surveying yourself in the mirror. Attempting to busy yourself, you absentmindedly tugged at the zipper of the dress. It snagged halfway up your spine.
“Here,” Rhysand said softly. “Let me.”
The room fell silent as he stepped behind you. His reflection was one of hesitance, but he gingerly swept your hair over your shoulder and gently pulled the zipper up. Your breathing was shallow as he worked, the back of his knuckles brushing against your skin as your eyes met in the mirror.
“You’re stunning,” he breathed, twirling you around. The dress flared around your ankles like soft dusk and the diamonds embedded into the fabric glittered like stars as you swayed across the plush carpet.
Rhysand smiled. A bright, genuine smile that caught you completely off guard.
Beautiful.
Rhys was so beautiful.
“Have you gone into shock, love?” he asked with a low chuckle. You blinked, unable to speak. The High Lord tucked a stray strand of hair behind your pointed ear, his thumb caressing the juncture between your neck and shoulder. “No one would blame you if you did. I am quite irresistible.”
You snorted, swatting his hand away. “Careful, Rhys. If your ego grows any bigger, you won’t be able to fit that fancy little crown of yours.”
“Then take me down a notch,” he said smoothly, sliding his hands inside those perfectly fitted trousers. “Be my Valentine and spend the day of hearts with me, love.”
Eyes widening, you stilled as panic seized you from within. You wanted to say yes—so, so badly, but you couldn’t. You wouldn’t. It would be utterly selfish considering how you felt about Cassian and Azriel.
Plastering on a half-smirk, you turned towards Rhysand and cocked your head. Boundaries. You had to draw boundaries. “As enticing as that would be,” you said softly, “I already have plans for that day.”
If Rhysand was disappointed, he didn’t let it show. Instead he gave you a sly, easy smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
“Oh? Anyone that I know?” His tone was casual, but you could hear the curiosity that he was trying to reel in.
“No.”
It wasn’t a complete lie. You planned on spending the day cooped up in your flat while reading one of the steamy romance novels that Nesta had lent you and Rhysand technically didn’t know the brooding silver-haired elf prince on the cover.
“Well, whoever it is,” Rhysand drawled, his gaze meeting yours in the mirror, “I hope he knows that he’s a very lucky male.”
The afternoon passed quickly after that with you and Rhysand indulging in more shopping and champagne. With your pockets lighter and your head swimming, the two of you strolled side by side along the Sidra River as you walked home. Like a true gentleman, your friend insisted on carrying your shopping bags for you though the starlight dress wasn’t among your many purchases. Mostly because you couldn’t get that look on Rhysand’s face off your mind and you realized that you didn’t want to wear it if you didn’t get to see the twinkle in those violet eyes of his as you twirled.
The High Lord bid you goodbye and kissed your cheek. Before he winnowed from your quiet street, Rhys handed you your bags and departed with a wink.
You didn’t think much of it until you were putting away your purchases. Tucked underneath the skirts and corsets that you’d splurged on was the starlight dress. It was neatly folded and tied with a lavender ribbon. A note with familiar handwriting snagged your attention and you bit back a smile as you slowly unraveled it.
It would have been a shame to leave this at the store. Promise to wear it out even if I’m not there to witness it. A beautiful dress like this deserved to be worn by an equally beautiful female. Go outshine the stars, darling.
Yours,
Rhys
The smile that spread across your face remained even as you turned in for the night.
Tumblr media
Cassian’s plan was foolproof.
The Illyrian general approached the task of asking you to be his Valentine with a well-thought out strategy, considering the pros and cons of each idea with the perspective of a battle hardened warrior. In the end, he settled for a simple yet effective plan.
“You do know that the goal is to actually bake the cookies, right?” you stated, batting Cassian’s hand away from the bowl of cookie dough.
Your flat was filled with the sweet smell of chocolate as you whisked the mixture in your hands. For all his preaching about maintaining a balanced diet, Cassian had devoured nearly half the bowl of cookie dough and you hadn’t even decorated the first batch.
He snatched the mixture from you and stirred faster, his strong arms flexing with each movement. “Says the female who devoured half a cup of chocolate chips when she thought I wasn’t looking.”
You gasped, feigning an affronted expression. “Didn’t anyone ever tell you that it’s rude to shame a female for her eating habits? Someone should really teach you some manners, Cas.”
Cassian smirked. “I’d like to see you try, sweetheart.”
Rolling your eyes, you snatched the bowl back and hip checked the Illyrian general as you rolled out the dough. Cassian fell into place beside you, watching intently while you worked. Despite his sweet tooth, he managed to stay on task and follow your instructions. It was highly amusing to watch the large, heavily muscled warrior squint in concentration as he rolled the dough between his rough, calloused hands.
You couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face as Cassian’s brows furrowed in concentration. The two of you had always shared a love of cooking, having met at a master class in the city. The instructor had assigned you as partners and by the end of the night, you and Cassian managed to prepare a six course meal and strike up an instant friendship.
You’ve been crushing on him since then.
There was something endearing about his gentle manner, the softness that came out when he was doing what he loved. It was the complete opposite of what you’d expect from a battle hardened warrior, but it made perfect sense at the same time. You watched with a fond smile as Cassian leaned over the counter, his wings pressed tightly across his back, a pastel pink apron tied around his midsection, his shoulder length hair haphazardly thrown into a half bun with a few strands framing his ruggedly handsome face. Rich, hazel eyes were laser focused on icing the cookie in front of him.
You hadn’t realized how intently you’d been staring until Cassian looked up at you. He lifted a brow, the slit in the middle rising as he shot you a smirk. “See something you like, sweetheart?”
You stuck your tongue out, making Cassian chuckle. “Actually, I was critiquing your piping methods. It looks a little sloppy if you ask me.”
“No one’s ever complained about my piping before,” he said with a suggestive tone, “But you’re free to correct my form if you’d like.”
Heat crept up your cheeks, but you weren’t about to back down now. Not with the challenge dancing in Cassian’s molten gaze. “Let the professional show you how it’s done, Cas.”
Before you could think better of it, you grabbed his wrist. You tried not to gape at the obvious disparity of your hands, the way your fingers barely covered his palm, the roughness of his skin against your own, the warmth of his touch as you directed the piping bag over the surface of the cookie.
With shaking hands, you drew a sprawling shape with the red frosting and Cassian chuckled behind you as he beheld your creation. “Wonder what that could be,” he mused.
The rendering was a little off, but that was to be expected thanks to Cassian’s effect on you. Under the conditions, you thought you’d done a rather great job at imitating those giant wings of his.
“Looks awfully accurate,” he continued. “Been thinking about my wings quite a bit, have you?”
“It’s kind of difficult not to when they literally take up half the room.”
“I’ve been told they’re bigger than average.”
Fire snaked across your belly. “But not the biggest, right?” you said with a smirk. “I believe that honor belongs to Azriel.”
Cassian scoffed. “My brother has yet to prove that claim. Az refuses to measure.”
You giggled as your friend took the bait. “He doesn’t have to,” you said with an innocent smile. “Az just has big wing energy, you know?”
“Big wing energy?” Cassian repeated. His confusion made you burst into uncontrollable laughter. He rolled his eyes once he realized that you’d been toying with him. “You’re devious, you know that?”
“Perfectly aware, thank you very much.”
The Illyrian general chuckled to himself as you returned to your own pile of cookies. Pink, red, and white frosting were spread out across the marble countertop and the two of you worked in silence, wrists flicking in the air as you drew hearts, arrows, and other decorations befitting the upcoming holiday.
“Do you remember when Varian asked us to teach him how to bake a cake for Amren last year?” you asked, adding frills to your sugar cookie.
Cassian snorted at the memory. The Prince of Adriata was good at a lot of things, but baking was not one of them. With Amren’s newfound ability to actually consume food, he wanted to gift her with something of his own making. Though he did purchase a diamond the size of Cassian’s fist in case the cake went horribly wrong, which it did.
It would’ve been fine had Varian not insisted on making the entire thing by himself while the two of you watched. You had suggested something easy like a plain vanilla cake with strawberry filling, but the Prince was dead set on a molten chocolate lava cake, which was considered a generally advanced bake.
In the end, the desert that he had presented to Amren looked more like a heap of ash than anything remotely edible. Cassian had to give it to the Tiny Ancient One, though. She limited her grimace to two side eyes directed at the both of you before fixing her expression into a reluctant smile. You nearly wet yourself from laughing so hard.
“I honestly thought we were done for,” Cassian remarked. “Amren looked like she wanted to stick us in the oven after that first bite.”
“It’s not our fault!” you exclaimed, “Varian was adamant about doing everything by himself.”
“This is why the nobility have private chefs and cooks. They’re all helpless when it comes to cooking. No offense, duchess,” he added with a smirk.
You scrunched your nose up in distaste. While the noble title had technically passed to you upon your parent’s passing, you rarely used it outside of your emissary duties. “You know I hate it when you call me that.”
“Not as much as Amren hated eating that cake,” he responded dryly.
The two of you doubled over in laughter. Wiping your tears away, you chuckled softly. “Love makes you do strange things, I suppose. Either way, it was a day of hearts that Amren will never forget.”
“Speaking of which,” Cassian said, training his voice into a casual tone, “The big day is coming up. Do you have any plans?”
He kept his eyes on his own cookie, the writing almost finished as he placed one final loop over the question. Cassian angled it towards you, the culmination of his plan coming to fruition. This was it. The big moment. The final play.
“I—um, well I—”
That was not a good sign. Cassian perked up at the hesitation in your voice. In all the time that he’s known you, you’ve never faltered. You were sure, decisive. It was one of the many qualities that he found incredibly sexy about you.
But now you looked like a deer caught in faelights.
Retreat. Fall back. Abort mission.
“Well, I’ve actually already got plans,” you declared in a rushed whisper.
His heart clenched in his chest. Of course. Of course he’d been too late. One of his brothers probably already asked and you’d said yes, which would explain why you looked so uncomfortable.
Cassian’s eyes widened as your gaze landed on him. He immediately looked down at the cookie and the silly question he’d carefully frosted over its surface.
Be my Valentine?
The pink and red cursive of his own handwriting mocked him. Cassian had to get rid of it. Now.
You stepped closer to him and any second you might look down and see his pathetic little question. Cassian only had one choice to make.
The Illyrian general stuffed the whole cookie into his mouth.
You stopped in your tracks, eyes widening at your friend’s sudden outburst. “Cas?” you asked incredulously. “What the hell are you doing? You’re gonna choke on the damned thing!”
Cassian coughed, wincing as fragments of the cookie scratched the back of his throat. Still, the embarrassment he felt in this moment paled in comparison to what he would’ve felt if you’d seen the writing.
He smiled sheepishly. “I was hungry,” he said, swallowing the last bits of his botched plan.
You furrowed your brows in concern before Cassian wiped his hands on the front of his apron. He grinned, elbowing your side. “So, you’ve got plans, do you?” he said even though pain lanced through his chest at the words. “Whatever you do, don’t bake him a molten lava cake.”
The two of you broke out into another conspiratory grin before you looked down at the cookie before you, angling it away from your friend. The wings you drew earlier flared out with the help of your magic and as they fluttered, you flicked your wrist to wipe away the doodles that you added.
Tiny pink and white hearts that matched the striped apron Cassian was wearing.
Tumblr media
Unlike his brothers, Azriel didn’t see the need to resort to gimmicks.
The shadowsinger had always been meticulous about every goal he set his sights on and asking you to be his Valentine wasn’t any different. His best chance would be during your weekly meetup in the city and he was fully prepared to execute his strategic ten step system until he’d walked through the coffee shop to find you seated at your usual table.
Then you looked up at him and smiled and he forgot all about the damned system and nearly tripped on his feet trying to get to you. Before he knew it, a half hour had passed and he still hadn’t built up the courage to ask you the pressing question, but instead rambled about the mystery novel he’d just finished reading.
Not that you minded one bit.
One of the things you adored most about Azriel was your shared love of reading.
While the shadowsinger was by nature a silent male, he came alive when you talked about books. You loved listening to him talk passionately about a new novel he’d discovered, watching as those brilliant hazel eyes glowed golden, his shadows darting excitedly around his shoulders as though they too, found the change in his reserved behavior entirely enchanting.
That was the Azriel that greeted you in the cozy alcove of your favorite coffee shop, his beautiful face animated, his hands gesticulating as he explained the plot twist of his newest read, his normally cool, dark voice filled with warmth and excitement. Your friend was a brand new male and you were grateful to be able to witness such a breathtaking sight.
Azriel cocked his head, a smile toying at his lips. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
You shook your head, forcing yourself out of reverie. “Nothing, you’re just cute when you’re passionate.”
The shadowsinger narrowed his eyes. “Cute? I’m the High Lord’s Spymaster. I can rip a male’s spine out without blinking.” He crossed his arms, clearly affronted. “I am not cute.”
“Yes, yes, you can be quite terrifying, shadowsinger.” He pouted as you reached across the table and tapped his nose. “It doesn’t change the fact that you’re absolutely adorable when you get excited like this, Az.”
The Illyrian male playfully flicked your wrist. “You’re lucky I like you, angel. No one else would dare to speak to me like this.”
You rolled your eyes, snorting. “Just drink your damned hot chocolate before I hex your nose off.”
Azriel stuck his tongue out, but did indeed take a sip of his hot drink. It was a little known fact that the shadowsinger had a vicious sweet tooth, which was yet another similarity that you bonded over. You’d won him over by inviting him to Deja Brew, a little hole in the wall coffee shop tucked into a quiet street at the Palace of Hoof and Leaf.
The shop was quaint and homey, part coffee shop, part bookstore, complete with the most delicious hazelnut latte you’ve ever tasted and a collection of books that rivaled your own shelves. By far its best feature was its privacy. Within its walls, you never had to worry about being viewed as the shadowsinger or the emissary. You were simply two friends eating, reading, and laughing without worrying about garnering unwanted attention. No one even looked at you twice in here.
And the silence—comfortable, glorious, silence enveloped you like a warm hug.
You basked in it and you knew Azriel did too. As much as you loved your friends, the two of you were introverts at heart. Sometimes all you wanted to do was sit in a quiet room and read until the sun disappeared over the horizon. Thus, Deja Brew became a sacred haven for you and the shadowsinger.
Once a week, you had a recurring date to simply sit in silence and read. Most days, you barely spoke a word to one another aside from the initial greeting. It didn’t matter who arrived first. Your designated spot underneath a hidden alcove towards the back of the shop was supplied with the usual. For you, a hazelnut latte and an almond croissant. For Azriel, a hot chocolate and a cinnamon roll the size of your head.
The elder dryad who owned Deja Brew brought another refill of your drink, her kind eyes appraising you as she set the latte down. “Thank you, Esme,” you said with a smile.
Esme grinned back. “Anything for my two favorite customers.” She set a heart shaped danish between you and Azriel, a knowing look on her face.
“I don’t think we ordered this,” Azriel murmured.
“It’s on the house, dear.” Her eyes flickered over his face as a deep flush turned the tips of his ears pink. “In celebration of the day of hearts. I’m experimenting with some of my recipes. If you two don’t already have plans, you should stop by during the holiday and try some of the other pastries I have in store.”
It was your turn to blush. “That’s quite sweet of you, Esme. We’ll keep that in mind.”
As the dryad winked and disappeared beyond the alcove, silence settled between you and the shadowsinger. A different type of silence. A tense, adrenaline inducing silence that made your body crackle with electricity. Hazel eyes darted towards your direction and suddenly, your mouth felt as dry as hay.
Azriel gave you a lopsided grin, shrugging his shoulders in such an endearing way that you were almost tempted to close the gap between you and kiss him right then and there. But you didn’t.
Instead, you reigned those feelings in and focused on your book instead. Except you couldn’t focus on a single word. Not with the way Azriel was looking at you from across the table.
Hiding behind the safety of your book, you allowed yourself to sneak a glance at the shadowsinger. Azriel’s cheeks were a lovely rosy color, warm from the heat of the crackling hearth, its hazy red glow kissing the elegant planes of his face. His scarred hands, as beautiful as the rest of him, toyed with the spine of his book as the bright emerald green and soft earth of his irises swirled to combine into the most stunning color. The golden flecks in his eyes gleamed brighter as his shadows swirled around his wings.
They were moving about excitedly. One curled around his ear to whisper something. Azriel’s head snapped up, smiling as he found you openly staring at him.
It was one of those rare Azriel smiles. A smile that had taken you months and months to coax out of him. The force of it would have knocked you off your feet if you had been standing.
“I love it when you look at me like that,” Azriel said quietly. His voice was barely a hoarse whisper, but the words reached the depths of your soul nonetheless.
“How do I look at you?” you asked, curious.
The shadowsinger held your gaze. “Like you see me. All of me.” Something unreadable flickered in his expression. “And you’re not afraid of what stares back.”
You grinned, feeling your chest tighten with emotion. “I could never be afraid of you, Az. When I look at you, I think about books and cinnamon rolls and comfortable silence. I think about our secret little spot, away from the crowds, away from the noise. It makes me feel…safe.”
So much for containing your emotions. The revelation settled between you, but you didn’t regret saying them. Azriel deserved to know. He needed to know what this friendship meant to you.
The shadowsinger’s expression softened. He stared at you, weighing his words. “And should I expect to see you in our secret spot for the day of hearts?”
Your heart fluttered at the question, but you quickly tampered it down. First Rhys, then Cas and now Azriel. Every rejection felt bitter in your mouth, but you had no choice. You were not going to let your selfish desire ruin the wonderful relationship you had with each male.
“I’m afraid I’ll have to miss out on Esme’s new creations,” you said with a small smile. “As I’ll be indisposed during the holiday.”
Azriel’s expression revealed nothing, just mild curiosity. He smiled back, but it wasn’t like before. It was guarded, masked. Hiding layers of emotion that you couldn’t decipher.
“Very well, then.” Azriel stated in a cool, even voice. It might’ve made your stomach twist into knots had he not followed it up with a sly grin. “That leaves more sweets for me.”
Grateful to settle back into the comfortable silence, you spent the rest of the night reading. At least, you attempted to. You weren’t sure you retained any of the plot of the novel in your hands as you and Azriel walked through the empty streets of the quiet market square. While you usually would’ve winnowed while Azriel flew back to the House of Wind, neither of you seemed keen to end the night quite yet.
It was only when your flat building came into view when Azriel bid you goodnight. You stood on your tiptoes and kissed his cheek, thanking him for—well, everything. For being him.
He descended down the stairs leading up to your front door, turning back at the last step. With his wings spread across his back, he looked at you over his shoulder.
“Y/N?”
“Yes, Az?”
Azriel pinned you with his gaze. “You make me feel safe, too.”
With that, he shot into the skies, flying across the city of starlight and taking your heart with him.
Tumblr media
On the day of hearts, the three brothers gathered.
Azriel, Cassian, and Rhys agreed not to reveal your choice until the morning of the holiday. The Illyrian warriors gathered at Rhysand’s office in the House of Wind, surveying each other with quiet contemplation.
This was the moment of truth.
“So?” Cassian prompted, “Which one of you did she say yes to?”
“Not me,” Rhysand said, his violet eyes shifting to the shadowsinger.
“It isn’t me, either.” Azriel declared.
A brief silence settled through the office. Cassian paced, his expression twisting into confusion. “If it’s not any of us, then who is it?”
“Maybe someone from the Day Court?” Rhysand theorized, “She was helping Helion out with his nobles during her last mission.”
“It can’t be,” Azriel said. “My spies would’ve reported any activity, friendly or otherwise, with the nobility.”
“Maybe it’s someone from Velaris, then.” Cassian interjected.
“Do you think she’s meeting up with him in the city?”
Rhysand tapped his fingers against his chin, a devious glimmer in his eyes. “There’s only one way to find out, brothers.”
“What?” Cas sputtered, “You mean spy on her?”
“We can’t do that,” Azriel argued.
“Why not? You’re the Spymaster, Az. It’s literally your job.”
The shadowsinger rolled his eyes at the High Lord. “I said we can’t, not that I can’t. You two are about as stealthy as two bulls in a china shop. I’ll scope out the situation and report back with my findings.”
Cassian snorted. “There’s no chance in hell that we’re staying back while you spy on Y/N. We want to come, too.” He cocked his head to Rhysand, who nodded in confirmation.
Azriel sighed in resignation. There was no use in arguing. His brothers would make a right mess of things if they attempted this on their own.
That was what the shadowsinger repeated to himself as the three of them staked out your flat from the rooftop across the street. Just a glimpse, Azriel thought. A glimpse of the male so he could go home and research every single fact about the poor bastard while sharpening his beloved dagger.
Rhysand and Cassian seemed to hold the same sentiment as they leaned over the railing, surveilling the empty street below. One misstep and his brothers would be hurtling towards the cobblestone steps. Azriel rolled his eyes.
“Cas, if you lean any further you’ll tip over,” Azriel said, pinching the bridge of his nose. “And Rhys, stop pacing back and forth. You’re giving me a headache.”
“Wait!” Rhysand declared rather loudly. Clearly, the High Lord was not at all used to fading into the shadows. “There he is. Walking up to her door, right now.”
The three Illyrians hunched over, watching as you opened the door. You greeted the male with a bright, cheery smile. He seemed to be carrying a present of sorts. You gladly took it and Azriel waited for you to invite the male inside, but instead you placed a gold coin into his hand and bid him goodbye.
The shadowsinger moved, watching as you plopped down on the couch and tore open the box. He clenched his fist, only to release it a few moments later when you produced an array of food. Azriel recognized the logo of your favorite restaurant written on the takeout boxes.
“Is she…eating?” Cassian asked in confusion.
Rhys blinked. “This doesn’t make any sense. She said she had plans.”
You curled up on the couch, an egg roll in one hand and a romance novel in the other.
“Maybe she’s waiting for her date?” his brother said, scratching the back of his head. “Maybe he didn’t show?”
Azriel snorted. “If a male stood her up, do you really think Y/N wouldn’t be on her way to tear him to shreds rather than laying on the couch?”
Rhys chuckled. “Az is right.” He tapped his chin, “Besides, she never actually said she had plans with a male. We all just assumed. There must be another reason why she turned us all down.”
Cassian crossed his arms. “Well I’ve had enough of sneaking around. I say we go in there and ask her ourselves.”
“What?” Azriel asked incredulously, “You mean to march in there and demand answers from her? She’ll hex the three of us into the next century.”
Rhys grimaced. “You may be right brother, but at least we’ll know.”
“This is a terrible, horrible, idiotic idea.” Azriel grumbled his disapproval under his breath, but followed his brothers across the street.
He came to a stop behind Rhysand, who was watching Cassian knock on the door with a wary expression. A few moments later, you came to the door and gaped at the three males gathered outside of your flat.
“For the record, I tried to stop them.” Azriel announced in greeting.
Your gaze flickered from Cassian to Rhys to Azriel before you sighed in resignation as though you were expecting to face this exact situation. “Come in, boys.”
The three Illyrian warriors followed you into the cozy flat, settling into your couch. Rhysand crossed one ankle over his knee, Cassian sprawled his long legs in front of him, while Azriel leaned against the cushions, watching you.
“So,” you started warily, “I assume you’re all here for a reason.”
“We…were just stopping by,“ Cassian started. “Scoping out the mysterious plans you had for the day.”
You raised a brow. “By that, you mean you were all spying on me from the roof.”
Azriel groaned. He knew his brothers would give them away.
“We weren’t spying, darling.” Rhys said, cowering a bit when you glared at him. “We were simply satiating our curiosity.”
“I’ll satiate more than that if you don’t wipe that damn smirk off your mouth, Rhys.”
Cassian snorted. You turned on him with narrowed eyes. “Don’t even get me started on you, Cas.”
“And you,” you said, settling over Azriel’s calm expression. “I expected more from you, Az.”
He sighed. “Trust me, I have no idea how I got roped into this either.” Azriel offered you an apologetic smile. “Despite our questionable methods, we really just wanted to make sure that whatever lucky male you decided to spend the holiday with was respectful.”
“Imagine our surprise when you decided to ditch us for egg rolls and an elf prince,” Rhysand teased, nodding to the romance novel on the table.
You rolled your eyes. “At least elf princes don’t spy on me.” Pacing the living room, you pinned the High Lord with a withering glare. “Give me one good reason not to transform you into a slug.”
Cassian chuckled. “You wouldn’t dare. You like looking at our pretty faces too much.”
At that, you cracked a smile. “Idiot,” you said fondly, smacking Cassian’s knee. “You’re lucky that I have a soft spot for foolish Illyrian warriors.”
“Speaking of that,” Rhys said, segueing into the reason why they gathered here in the first place. “Why did you reject all of our offers? Though I was banking on myself as your favorite, I thought you’d at least choose Cas or Az once you turned down being my Valentine.”
You sighed. “It’s…complicated.”
“Try us, angel.” Azriel said softly.
“I said no because I wanted to say yes.” The three brothers exchanged a confused look, but waited for your explanation. “I wanted to say yes to all of you. Because I like all of you, but obviously I could only pick one and…I can’t. You all mean so much to me, in different, unique ways and I couldn’t bring myself to choose.”
Rhysand stared at Cassian and Azriel, seemingly conveying a mind to mind message. Cassian grinned while Azriel nodded in confirmation.
“Who said you had to choose?” Rhys said with a wicked smirk.
“W—what?”
“We all like you, too.” Cassian provided, “And we all want to make you happy. Nothing should stand in the way of that.”
“I don’t understand.”
Azriel grabbed your hand and caressed your knuckles with his thumb. “What Rhys and Cas are saying is that we’re more than open to explore between the four of us.” A mischievous smirk slid across that handsome face. “Besides, we’re all quite good at sharing, aren’t we?”
Rhys and Cassian grinned. The Illyrian general pulled your other hand while the High Lord twined his arms around your waist, enticing you in.
“What do you say, darling?” Rhys asked, his violet eyes flashing with desire. “My brothers and I are all on board with the idea, but the choice is up to you.”
Cassian nodded, tracing soothing circles on your palm. “Think about it, sweetheart. This way, you can have your cake and eat it too.”
You shivered as his words snaked down your spine. “How would this even work?”
Azriel chuckled, his gaze settling on Rhys. “Like this.”
You watched in suspense as the shadowsinger leaned in and pressed a hungry kiss against Rhysand’s lips. The High Lord responded with equal fervor, twining one hand through Azriel’s hair while the other gripped your right hip.
Not one to be left out, Cassian winked at you before palming Rhys through his expensive trousers. He twisted and kissed Cassian’s neck, eliciting a low growl from the Illyrian general.
Azriel chuckled as you bit your lip. “What do you say, angel?”
Rhys pulled you between his legs. “Make us the happiest males and be our Valentine, darling.”
Cassian brushed your cheek with his thumb. “Put us out of our misery, sweetheart.”
“Yes,” you breathed. “Yes, I’d like to be your Valentine.”
The three males smiled at you, but it was Azriel who tugged you into his lap and tilted your head back to give you a proper view of Cassian and Rhys as they continued kissing.
"I think you'll find that all three of us are more than generous Valentines."
A shiver went down your spine and you laid back as Azriel, Cassian, and Rhys pounced.

Ok but how did ace even get a girlfriend in the first place? Did she confess and he just went along with it? Did he think having a girlfriend would make him seem cooler? Was it a dare or something? Cause for someone like ace to just go ghost on her and not have an actual talk, kind of makes me feel like these two were not friends before they were partners.
So then, fast forward to nrc, ace is trying so hard to lose the feelings he has for his best friend. Because that's all they are: friends, homies, if you (duece) will. Yuu has the cream of the crop to pick from, he's kind of at a disadvantage here.
Plus, whose to say their entire dynamic won't change the second they get together? He doesn't want to get bored and start to hate one of his dearest friends by proxy, so might as well just play it safe and suffer a little than take that risk and the both of you suffer a lot 🤷‍♂️.
Meanwhile yuu, who still has their old phone/mp3 player, has been playing Jenny by Studiokillers on repeat. Lying in their bed, just down horrendous for this absolute ball of boyish mischief. How dare he, honestly?
Well. At least he gives them a lot of openings to flirt with him?
*disclaimer, I was home schooled so my actual knowledge about middle school dating is beyond non-existent so take what I say with a grain of salt
The information we get about Ace's girlfriend comes from his suitor suit vignette and he does not mention how they actually got together, just some of the things that they did and how boring Ace thought all of them were. And I agree! The way they broke up does not make it sound like they were friends before dating, though they could have been casual acquaintances. The way Ace likes to goof around makes me think he was probably pretty popular, and had a lot of those types of relationships. His description of the relationship makes me think he probably went out with her because he thought she was cute and that it would be fun to have a girlfriend, but didn't actually stop to think about who she was as a person or what dating actually means. And hey, he was in middle school. He was going to be a bit stupid about those sort of things. The experience seems to have made him think a lot about what he wants in a partner, and we know from Ortho he was telling the truth when he's forced to spell it out:
Tumblr media
His voice lines flesh out what he wants a bit more; he says he thinks it's important to find someone you have fun with and that he wants to get married later in life. So Ace knows what he wants... he just gets really embarrassed when called out on it and refuses to talk honestly about his feelings (though he kind of does that in general hehe)
So flashing forward to NRC. Ace knows what he wants and Yuu is such a perfect fit it hurts. Best friends to lovers is a popular trope in fiction sure, but in real life? At a school? Yeah right, Ace still has to see them every day if they break up, and not to mention... I feel like Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Yuu sort of fell into their dynamic almost immediately after the mine adventure and didn't ever stop to think about it because of how natural the friendship felt. And Ace knows if things end badly he's losing the whole squad, so yeah. Better to just swallow this and stay where he is. He's still in school! He doesn't need to think about dating! He's got a housewarden to surpass, upperclassmen he admires, and a bunch of idiots to take care of. He can worry about dating later. Besides, these feelings will go away after graduation he's delusional sure of it!!!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch Ramshackle Yuu is literally in a living hell. Maybe they're a bit more emotionally mature than Ace and they just know this could work out but THEY CAN'T TELL IF HE LIKES THEM BACK BECAUSE HE KEEPS GETTING SHY AND MAKING JOKES FML!!!! But like he also lets them steal his gym shirt :ccc and he gets pouty when someone else makes an offer :ccc and really smug when Yuu says no ccc: so like maaaybe? Or maybe not and this meaningless flirting is all they'll ever have and they just. Try to be ok with it and they sort of hate themselves for it.
until Sebek properly joins the friend group and looses his fucking shit

౨ৎ 1,862 days !
pairing: yeonjun x reader summary: being able to love yeonjun, and the road that lead you to him word count: 1.3k extra: happy five years to our oldest member!! 4th gen it boy yeonjun!! apart of my anniversary series!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeonjun was like a breath of fresh air, a saving grace. moving to korea at eighteen was rough, but running into the boy on the streets suddenly made it all worth it. you had bumped into him early in the spring - you were still bundled up in a jacket wandering aimlessly around seoul. instead of finding your friend at the coffee shop she had promised to wait for you in, you quite literally ran into yeonjun.
'excuse me, can you help me?' you pleaded through broken korean, and he laughed slightly, understanding the gist of what you were asking him.
needless to say, he gave you directions, even walked you to the shop and sat down with you after you realised your friend had set out on her own to find you. he even went a step above the rest and walked you back to your apartment after learning just how new to the area you were.
the rest was (basically) history. all it took was one day for him to ask you out, and those dates quickly turned into weekends tucked away from the rest of the world hiding out in your apartment. your roommate was rarely home - she worked odd hours and had her own girlfriend to visit.
before you knew it, five months by yeonjun's side became five years.
"all i'm saying," you began, your boyfriend humming mindlessly on the couch as he half watched tv, half played on his phone. "is we should go out for our anniversary."
yeonjun nodded absentmindedly, your words not truly sinking in. "yeah, yeah." he mumbled, eyes glued to his phone. kai had got him hooked on some two player game, and now the duo were both constantly on their phones, fighting monsters or something.
"it's too bad taehyun asked me out too." you giggled, leaning over the couch to watch his reaction.
nothing.
"i mean, is it bad i said yes? we don't technically have plans, so it's not a big deal."
he didn't even acknowledge your presence.
"but i felt bad, because i had to turn down wooyoung, and dino, and changbin - yeonjun could you at least blink to let me know you're not some zombie?" you groaned, moving around the sofa to sit next to him.
now it was his turn to laugh and he wrapped his arm around you, his phone discarded next to him. "i was listening," he teased, eyes glistening with mischief as he smiled, clearly proud of himself. "i just wanted to see how ridiculous you'd get."
you chose to ignore his statement, moving past the ordeal. it was sort of childish. "so, dinner? tomorrow night?" you posed, moving to sit on your knees. it was almost as if you were ready to beg. anniversaries meant a lot to you - especially as this one marked five years since moving to korea.
it was hard, leaving your life behind. but, you had to. and things had worked out. really well.
"i've got practice. why don't we go out tonight? today marks five years of us meeting." he offered, frowning when he noticed just how disappointed you were.
"yeah, sure." you smiled, pushing yourself up off the couch. "i was hoping you'd be able to get off work tomorrow, but i get it. i promise i do."
he nodded, sighing. "have you talked to your parents recently?" the question caught you off guard - no matter how good or bad of a relationship you had with your parents, calling them rarely crossed your mind. when was the last time you spoke to either of them?
"no," you huffed, though more out of annoyance with yourself than with him. if you were to call them, they would chew you out for ghosting them. but life was busy, and the time difference did not help. "they weren't the biggest fans of me moving out here, you know."
his eyebrows furrowed as his head tilted slightly to the side, "they weren't? but - when i met them a bit back, they seemed so happy for you."
you tried to suppress the growing grin on your face at the idea. "my parents were so far from happy for me, jjunie. they just didn't want to upset either of us."
he nodded slowly, letting the information seep in. "well, that's too bad. i hoped to talk to them. but i guess i could see how they probably weren't the biggest fans of their eighteen year old deciding to just move out and into a foreign city."
"why would you want to talk to my parents?" you snorted, the idea so completely absurd it didn't even seem real. "didn't you say something along the lines of, 'i'm sorry you're related.' when you met them?"
he shrugged, clearly unable to form the proper sentence. you took his silence as a cue to leave and get ready for dinner. by the time you were done he'd probably have made a reservation somewhere, or called some sort of favour in. perks of being famous.
and of course, by the time you emerged from your bedroom, grabbing a hold of your wallet from your dresser, yeonjun himself was already waiting for you by the door, holding your shoes in his hands.
"took you long enough." he smiled, though you could see the faint spread of pink across his cheeks. he was never good at hiding the fact that he was blushing. over the years he had learn't you were simply too good at spotting it, and accepted the fact that you thought it was cute.
"so where are we going out tonight, mr. choi?" you grinned, slipping your shoes on and interlocking your arm with his as you made your way out the front door. sometimes having a first floor apartment was a blessing.
"it's a surprise." was all he said, and you understood that his words truly meant surprise. as in, he was not going to be telling you. but still, you quickly recognised the change of scenery. something about it was familiar.
you were close to your first apartment - the one you lived in when you met yeonjun. you could see the park you spent many afternoons together in. and up in the distance you could faintly see the coffee shop you went to when you first met yeonjun.
and it all made sense.
"coffee for dinner? don't you have practice tomorrow?" you questioned, nudging his shoulder with your own.
he nodded, taking a moment to look at you.
it felt like his breath had been knocked straight out of him.
you were everything to him.
"you know what?" he smiled, pausing.
"hm?" you hummed, stopping just a few feet in front of him. "what is it?"
"i've been in love with you for five years." you felt your heart stop in your chest. "i've spent these last five years doing what i love, while getting to be with the person i love. you don't know how crazily lucky i feel just waking up next to you."
he began to lower himself to the ground.
now it was your turn to have the breath knocked out of you. "jjunie?"
"it would be a lie to say these past five years have been easy, but hey, i love you. so they've all been worth it." he was pulling something out of his pocket.
a ring.
he didn't even need to ask the question for you to begin to tear up (i would.), your answer already so clear to him. "you don't need to even say yes, just let me know i'll be able to love you for et-"
"yes." you smiled, rushing quickly to pull him into a hug. "i've been in love with you since i met you, jjunie. and i plan on loving you for the rest of my life. the past 1,862 days have meant the world to me."
"not like anyones counting or anything." he teased, placing a soft kiss on your forehead.
yeah, moving to korea at eighteen was worth it.

☀️🎃
You run into Eddie at Family Video when you're searching for Scary movies for Summerween ✨🎃☀️
Warnings; Fluff, hint of spice.
Tumblr media
☀️🎃✨
It was a late summers night and you were in a desperate mood for some good movies, snacks and to relax after a stress inducing day working on Hawkin's High post with Nancy.
The two of you got on so well but Fred was resisting to a lot of your ideas and him and Nancy butted heads on a lot of topics.
Today was a particularly grueling day and all you wanted was some peace and quiet.
Well, that's until you went into Family Video and walked into Eddie Munson ranting about something.
His brown eyes were full of fire as he gestured to Dustin and Steve and his shaggy hair was even wilder than normal.
He was dressed in a Metallica shirt, leather jacket and jeans.
What exactly they were arguing about you didn't know but you caught words like campaign, stressed out and figured he was having trouble thinking up a campaign.
"The problem is Henderson is that I have to many ideas and I don't know what to do" Dustin catches your eye then grins.
"Hey Munson, take a breath before you pass out handsome" Eddie stills then turns to you, a blush creeps up his cheeks.
"Dude, you could have told me that she was there" The blush combined with his annoyance at Dustin made a thought flit through your mind.
Did Eddie have a crush on you? God, you hoped so. The guy was so hot and the way he played the guitar had you swooning.
You never swooned at anything until you saw Eddie play at The Hideout. You smile. If you played this right then maybe Eddie could be your date for tonight.
💕
Eddie had noticed you before, of course, he did. You were sweet, pretty and popular and yet never acted like a lot of the popular kids did.
You were always nice to Dustin, Lucas and Mike but he knew you had a soft spot for Max. He saw you at her trailer when her mom was working late, helping Max with the chores and her homework.
So yeah, Eddie noticed you but like any member of the Dark Side except for maybe Chrissy and one or two others, he assumed you would be bitchy or despise him.
Or a saccharine sweet princess.
Yeah, you were super hot and he had a bit of a crush on you but he never planned on speaking up about it.
Until now.
He didn't expect to see you wearing a Nightmare on Elm Street shirt and carrying a stack of horror movies with a beam on your face. The sight took his breath away.
"Wow, you got a lot of movies for the night honey" Steve whistles and you shrug.
"Summer watchlist, anything to get me through it and onto the best months of the year" you grin.
"Yeah, been a long hot summer so far" Steve agrees while Dustin frowns as he looks at your movie collection.
"Who do you think would win in a fight, Freddy or Michael Myers" You ponder this but before you can answer Eddie does.
"Dude, Myers duh, he would kick Freddy's ass back and forth, Myers literally can't be killed. Or at least its super fucking hard"
Dustin scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Eddie, come on dude. Freddy could use all his powers in Myer's dreams and turn the table on Myer's"
Steve raises his hand awkwardly.
"Uh, can't Freddy be killed by fire though? Myers was shot and burned the shit out of and still came back?" Dustin looks at him with betrayal in his eyes and Eddie grins.
"Exactly, Steve. Dustin you butthead just admit you're wrong" Steve looks at you plesdingly so you sidle up to Eddie.
Hopefully you can distract him.
You turn to Eddie with a little smile on your face and mischief in your eyes.
"Are you coming to join me Munson for movie night?" he stops arguing at once and his eyes shine with excitement.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I don't bite...unless you're into that sort of thing?"
You wink and Eddie gapes, then collects himself smirking.
"Of course if you'd rather sit here and argue about Freddy vs Michael" you trail off and walk out the door, Eddie takes a second to be cool, before running out after you.
This movie night just got a lot more interesting...

I’ve been binge reading your fics all day, and i’d love to request one!
So, we all know that Fred Weasley is always energetic, loud and a troublemaker, right? He’s totally golden retriever energy. Maybe he meets a girl the exact opposite of him- Quiet, Shy, maybe somewhat emo? Like a golden retriever boy x black cat girl trope? Id love to see your perspective on this! 🤍
Such a fun request! I hope you enjoy!!
Opposites Attract Pt. 1
Fred's POV
Fred stopped his loud, boisterous bouncing around and watched as Y/N sat down in her favorite spot under the big oak tree and pulled a book out to read. Of all the girls at Hogwarts, Y/N was the one that fascinated him the most. With her jet-black hair, all-black wardrobe, and her quiet manner, she was the exact opposite of every other girl he'd ever fancied. She was shy, reserved, and even though she had friends, she seemed to prefer being on her own most of the time.
"I wonder what she's reading." Fred strained, trying to make out the title.
George glanced up from the invention he was tinkering with. "Looks like a book to me."
"Don't be cheeky," Fred grumbled. "You know what I mean."
George grinned. "I see you're crushing hard on our little black cat girl."
"I am not crushing on her." Fred looked away to hide his faint blush.
"Ok." George shrugged.
"I'm not."
"Ok."
"Seriously, George, I'm not."
"O-K."
"Ok."
"Ok," George finished. "Now come help me with this."
Fred snuck one final, quick look at Y/N before turning his attention to his twin and their newest invention.
~•~
Y/N's POV
Y/N was nervous. She knew she was being watched by Fred Weasley. And she also knew he had taken an interest in her. At least, that's what her friends said anyway.
She wasn't sure how she felt about that. She'd never had a boyfriend before, and it would be nice to have one. But Fred Weasley? Mischief maker extraordinaire, the life of party, the center of attention everywhere he went. If she dated him, she'd get sucked into that, and the possibility terrified her.
Y/N had spent her life happily being a wallflower. Sure, her black-on-black style garnered a bit of attention from time to time. But it was usually only momentary. Once people realized she wasn't going to do anything interesting, they got bored and turned their focus elsewhere. That suited her just fine. She liked being the invisible one. The one everyone's eyes slipped over.
Daring a quick peak through her bangs, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw she was no longer being scrutinized. Good, she thought. Now, maybe she could relax and get some reading done before dinner. Putting the older Weasley twin promptly out of her mind, she turned her attention to her newest potions book.
~•~
Fred's POV
Fred stared at the back of Y/N's lovely head as she worked on an assignment in Potions. She excelled at the subject and was probably the only non-Slytherien student who didn't think Snape was horrible. "He's really not that bad." Fred had overheard her telling one of her friends.
Indeed, Snape did treat her differently than most of Hogwarts' students. While she didn't receive the preferential royal treatment reserved only for Slytherin, he never tormented her as he did everyone else. He generally just left her alone, occasionally praising her on her potions work.
Fred couldn't help but wonder what sort of spell she cast to achieve this unprecedented feat. Maybe when he asked her out to Hogsmede, she'd share her secret. He sighed, gazing at her lips as she turned to speak to her partner when someone slapped the back of his head.
"Ow!" Fred looked up to see Snape glaring down at him.
"Save your Don Juan scheming for after class, Weasley." Snape ordered, rolling his eyes.
Fred rubbed the back of his head, pointedly ignoring George's smirking, knowing look as he watched the professor stalk back to his desk. Once again, he wondered why Snape left Y/N out of the matter. If she'd been anyone else, he would've made a point to embarrass her, too. What was so special about Y/N?
Snape's POV
Snape had a soft spot for Y/N. Aside from her loner nature and her penchant for black, which reminded him of himself, she was one of the most brilliant students he'd ever taught, and that was not a term he threw around lightly.
A few days into her first year, Y/N approached him after class to discuss a particular potion in her textbook. She was shy and uncertain of herself, but her questions and insights broached ideas that went far beyond anything he taught in his most advanced classes. Snape was impressed in spite of himself.
Y/N didn't have much practical experience with mixing potions, obviously, being too young to practice magic outside of school. But, she was incredibly well-read on the subject, spending hours pouring over any potions book she could get her hands on.
Mid-way through her second year after she'd read every potions book in the library, Snape began letting her borrow books from his private collection. Every couple of weeks, like clockwork, she'd stop by after class to trade out another book and ask a litany of thoughtful questions.
Much to his surprise, Snape found himself looking forward to their little chats. It was lovely to have a student who wasn't a complete dolt for once. And whose mastery of potions made her a worthwhile conversationalist. However, if he were completely honest with himself, he mostly enjoyed them because it was like having a friend.
~•~
Fred's POV
Y/N was sitting in her usual spot reading. Fred smiled at her. She looked extra adorable today with the little fall leaf that had fluttered into her hair unnoticed.
"Hi!" Fred greeted, striding over to her.
"Umm, hi." Y/N looked up at him for the briefest of moments before her eyes darted away.
"Mind if I join you?" He was all but bouncing in place.
"I-uh-ok." Y/N stuttered.
He flopped down beside her with all the grace of a drunk walrus. "Beautiful fall day, yeah?"
"Yeah--" she mumbled, shrinking away from him.
Fred noticed. "Oh shit, sorry, am I coming on too strong?"
Y/N only blinked.
"I am, aren't I?"
Unsure how to respond, Y/N continued to say nothing.
"Dammit! George told me to tone it down," Fred rambled on. "But did I listen?" He shifted away from her so he was no longer up in her face.
Y/N swallowed, watching his every move. "C-can I help you with something?"
"As a matter of fact, you can," Fred smiled. "You see, I have this little problem. George and Lee both have girlfriends they're taking to Hogsmede on Saturday, and I don't, and I'd really prefer not to go alone. I'd love it if you accompanied me. What do you say?"

To Love and Be Loved in Return - Chapter 3
Roy Kent x Reader
Read chapter 2 here
Tumblr media
Description: Roy reluctantly gets advice from the remaining Diamond Dogs
Note: So sorry it took me so long to post.
Word Count: ~1.3k
• • •
Back in the coaches’ office at Richmond a loud thud fills the silent room as Roy throws his phone across the room.
Beard glances up from the book in his hands and looks pointedly between Roy and the phone. “You wanna talk about whatever made you do that?”
Roy lets out a gruff “No.” and buries his face in his hands. Beard shrugs in response and side eyeing Roy still before returning to his book.
“Fine.” Roy huffs as if Beard’s silence had somehow forced him into opening up. “I fucked everything up and I’m pretty sure she hates me now.”
Raising an eyebrow, he asks “Who hates you? Y/n?” Roy has never said anything, but Beard is more than aware of his crush on you. Roy was softer with you than with anyone else, and on days you weren’t there? Heaven help that whole damn team.
“Yeah, probably.” Roy sighs.
“You know what this problem sounds like it needs?” Roy raises an eyebrow at Beards question before it dawns on him.
“Don’t say the fucking Diamond Dogs.”
“Afraid so” Beard replies with a certain mischief to his voice as he picks up his phone to text Nate and Higgins.
Before long Roy finds himself surrounded by three adult men who are quite literally howling with excitement. “I hate you all,” he grumbles.
They all settle down and Higgins is the first to speak up. “What can we help you with, Roy?”
“Well I like,” he hesitates before opting to try to maintain some secrecy on the matter, “this woman–”
Nate chimes in “Oh, y/n, right?
Incredulously Roy replies, “Does everyone fucking know?”
“Yeah, pretty much.” Higgins nods.
“I think so.” Nate shrugs.
“Well you haven’t exactly been subtle.” Beard adds.
“Fuck, well, yesterday I was talking to y/n about my schedule and she brought up the gala. I asked if she was going, she said she didn’t know if she was invited and I offered to bring her as my plus one.”
“And she turned you down?” Nate asked in confusion, assuming that would have to be the problem.
“No, she said yes, I’m buying her a dress.”
“Then what’s the problem exactly? She said yes to being your date. ” Higgins questioned.
“Well it’s not a date. She made that clear when she told me I’m the “best boss ever.’” He added air quotes as he repeated what you had said. “Then today, I asked her to a lunch date and she said she had plans with Rebecca and Keeley – which is fine – but then she just texted she isn’t coming back to work today and I can’t help thinking that it’s because I made her uncomfortable and now she’s avoiding me until she can find a kind way to reject me.”
They all nod along as Roy continues, “Now I don’t know how to fix things. I never should have fucking asked her out. I’m her boss, she clearly wouldn’t have feelings for me. I’m so fucking stupid.”
“Uh sorry if I’m wrong here, but uh,” Nate hesitantly adds “I don’t think you ever actually did ask her out.”
“What the fuck does that mean?” Roy fires back.
“No, I think he has a point.” Beard nods.
“Yeah, you said that she agreed to go to the gala but clarified that it wasn’t a date?” Higgens started to pry.
“Well not exactly.” Roy sort of bashfully added. “She said I was the best boss for buying her a dress, but I was actually the one who said it wasn’t a date.”
“Right. So then the lunch date. Did you phrase it like that?” Higgins continued his interrogation.
“Well, no, but she said no to lunch.”
“Right because she had lunch plans already. Did she say anything else about the lunch that would make you think she thought it was a date?”
“No, uh, she asked to reschedule it for next week.”
Beard leans forward, “So let me get this straight, you didn’t ask her out twice, both times she agreed in one way or another, and you decided to clarify that it was entirely platonic?” Roy nods in agreement. “Now, she went out to lunch with her friends and is starting her weekend early, and that means she hates you?”
“Well when you say it like that it sounds fucking stupid.”
The other three exchange knowing glances at that, which does not go unnoticed by Roy.
“Alright, fuck off.”
**********
Roy gets home late after spending hours on paperwork that was really just an excuse to stop thinking actual thoughts.
He settles onto his couch and for the first time since lunchtime checks his phone. He’s missed several texts from both you and Keeley. Hell, he’s even got one from Rebecca, which of course he opens first because that is somehow scarier than anything you could have said.
REBECCA: You’re an idiot.
Well, at least he hasn’t been fired. He considers asking why, but decides it’s best that he doesn’t know. Next he decides to open up the texts from you and is bombarded with kind messages.
Y/N: You’re a great fucking boss.
Y/N: You’re always so kind and understanding, even if you’re grumpy about it. Jamie called you grumpy today.
Y/N: He told me that you like me.
There was no fucking way even Jamie fucking Tartt had figured it out.
Y/N: You’re such a good friend.
Roy let out a breath he didn’t realize he had been holding in. At the very least, if Jamie knew something, he hadn’t told you.
Y/N: You’re sooo funny too.
Y/N: YOu’re so sweet too. Not with everyone, but with Phoebe, you’re so sweet.
Y/N: You just pretend to be mean.
Roy couldn’t help chuckling to himself in sheer confusion.
Y/N: Royyy
Y/N: Why are you ignoring me?
Your last text came in 10 minutes ago. He moved onto Keeley’s messages, which were almost entirely photos. He swiped through them. The first was a selfie of the three of you, the next a picture of you dancing, then three more of you dancing, and one of you all doing shots together.
Suddenly your texts all made sense. You were drunk. Very drunk.
He stares at the photos of you for a while, then more come through. Once again, all photos of you.
Fuck, did literally everyone know how he felt? Was Keeley doing this to tease him? Just seeing you looking like you were having fun and seeming so relaxed does something for him. You will be the death of him.
He looked over your texts again and finally decided to call you.
“Roy!” you excitedly yell into the mic.
“Y/N,” he chuckles to himself. “Had a lot to drink?”
“Maybe,” your words slur.”It’s not my fault. Rebecca was buying us shots. Who am I to turn them down?”
“Ok, ok. You almost ready to head home?”
“Yeah, Rebecca was about to call a car.”
“Tell her not to bother. I’ll come get you all. Send me the address.”
“Ok,” you reply. “You’re so nice.”
Roy sighs as he grabs his keys. “Get me that address please y/n”
“Yes, sir” you let out a giggle and a smile lights up Roy’s face at the sound.
“See you soon.”
“See ya!” you reply, hanging up the phone call.
Roy shakes his head at himself. He is absolutely fucking smitten with you. He gathers himself with a deep breath as he heads out the door to go get you.
