This is being Titled: The Rainbow Park!

I NEEDED TO WRITE THIS DOWN

Okay okay so in my dream last night! You know Mr Beast's charlie and the chocolate factory video! Welll I had a dream that I was there late at night like after recording and there was this rumor going around that if you cut through a certain part in the kit kat area instead of continuing forward it will take you to a secret room. Now I was with three other people (it was that thing where you don't know them irl but in the dream their like your best friends) to me they were strangers but you know! Anyways!

The four of us got to that room! Two of them opted to go forward but me and this other guy decided to explore the rumor and see if it was true! I was hesitant because I have anxiety but I didn't want to be left behind and I really wanted to know too! So I went (mind you its very dark in there, really hard to see, no lights were on and we were there at night) but we finally got to the door, opened it up and BAM THE BEST THING I COULD HAVE EVER WITNESSED WAS IN FRONT OF ME!

I called it the "Rainbow Park"

It was a decently big room with three huge slides all corresponding in color code to a part of the Lgbtqia+ flag. There was a Bisexual tube slide with a black latter and bi colored steps going up it the tube itself was a dark purple but on the inside was fully bi colored with bi colored lights!, there was a lesbian colored slide that was open but had a small bump on it so you go up for a moment before heading back down like those carnival slides where you gotta sit on a sack, no sack for this one though of course! With silver stairs to climb up it. And last but not least for the slides was the pansexual flag it was a twisty slide with subtle sprays of the pan colors on it and subtle pan stairs like the bi one.

Behind the slides there was a giant! Swing set with three different types of swings on it all spread out! Two regular sized ones and one two seater! Their heights could be adjusted and they were over this gaint bouncy rainbow mattress thing, to catch them in case anyone falls they are not getting hurt! It was pastel rainbow and the swings were a light yellow with silver chains attached and they had adjustable white padding in case any one the kids needed it. It was awesomee!!

They also had a cubby rack for your shoes which was a beautiful blue with a rainbow and clouds flowing over top of it! And on the other side of that was a whole new playground that I couldn't make out everything in it because it was dark on that side but I definitely saw the asexual flag and there was a full jungle gym over that way! it was so cool!

At that point in the dream Mr Beast asked everyone to leave because they had to close the actual place, he said as well that he was going to open it up to the public. I was a bit sad on that part because it was still pretty small considering everything and I felt that I wouldn't get a turn anymore but that was all good with me. As everyone left I turned to Jimmy with the biggest puppy dog eyes ever and asked if I could stay just five more minutes because I didn't get a chance to swing yet. He finally gave in, I thanked him, I had fun on the swing, Karl brought me down and when I wouldn't get up from the floor he tickled me until I got up and we all left together

It was awesome!! I needed to share this with ya'll because one I was too excited and two it could possibly make way from some ideas who knows!! :] Thank you for listening! I know this was long!

What sort of pride apparel do you think the characters would wear/have, if any?

Joey Gutierrez: He has a wristband he wears often enough, and for pride month he wears a bit more stuff. He wears things like backpacks with rainbow straps and a shirt with the gay flag (holy heck I just realized his sexuality is never confirmed as solely gay. He could be bi or something, but I'm pretty sure he is gay).

Peggy Carter: I don't know enough about queer history. She would have something subtle from her time period. Very subtle. This is a time where it was illegal for homosexuals to have federal jobs, such as director of S.H.I.E.L.D. But more recently, I like to think Sharon gave her a little bookmark or something colored like the bisexual flag.

Valkyrie: If she was on Earth, I think she would look really nice with thread braided into her hair to make a bisexual flag. It would look super pretty.

Ayo: Again, I don't know how pride is celebrated in Wakanda, but if there is anything, that's what she would do. I get the vibes from her that she'd like have rainbows on social media or something though.

Loki Laufeyson: He would have some clothes in the colors of the greyromantic, pansexual, and asexual flags, but not straight out the flags. And he'd have a couple of easy to hide apparel, things like this.

Also, I like to imagine Scott doing a card trick in front of him, joking that he can do magic too. Loki is interested (because he's being nice) and he finds it funny that Scott insists on showing him a bunch of ace cards. So Scott starts jokingly buying him stuff with aces of spades, and Loki is down because that is ace as heck.

Bucky Barnes: He has lots of shirts, flags, and all sorts of stuff. I like to think he has rainbow laces he wears with his shoes. He has lots of things that, even if they aren't explicitly queer, give him vibes. Things like the purple lava lamp he found on clearance and a red, purple, and teal tie dye shirt he found at a thrift shop. They aren't mean to be greysexual or bisexual, but they give off the vibes.

Wanda Maximoff: She'd have things with all the flags that apply to her. Those being abrosexual, bisexual, pansexual, aromantic, and asexual. On days where she's aroace, she'll wear her aroace stuff. Pan stuff on pan days. You get the point. And she wears her abrosexual stuff all of the time. She has things like rings, denim jacket with the flags ironed on, maybe shoes kind of like these.

Lance Hunter: He has a watch with a bisexual flag band that he wears a lot. And he likes to throw in bi stuff or rainbow stuff wherever he can. Things like the soles of his shoes being rainbow or his jacket being lined with bi colors.

Daisy Johnson: She does her make up in bi and demi colors, but that's mainly during pride month. Normally, she has a bracelet like the one I had pictured with Loki. She has a T-shirt that says something like "Inhuman, Queer, & Proud" she got because there are starting to be queer inhuman groups.

Jemma Simmons: She'll dress in pink, purple, and blue as a subtle bi flag. In June, Daisy does her make up sometimes. Jemma has cute little decorations she'll have, like a cup in bi colors to hold pencils or her phone's wallpaper as a cool pink to blue ombre with stars or something. Her and Fitz have matching bi wristbands someone got them as a wedding gift.

Leopold Fitz: He has the bi wristband same as Jemma. Other than that? I don't see him being the type of person to do all sorts of flag or pride or whatever stuff. He's heteroromantic bisexual, that's all. Part of it is that he doesn't want to be given crap for being varioriented ("you can f*ck a guy but not fall in love" sort of bs), but even if he was biromantic and bisexual, it's just not really his thing, so have a bunch of random colorful things shouting to the world that he's queer when he prefers to keep this very, very private.

Steve Rogers: Steve has bi and rainbow gear, but it's not something he normally wears. More of a pride thing.

Carol Danvers: She changes her suit to the lesbian flag for pride month! Outside of that, she seems like a person to wear lesbian flag socks. Which is totally random and idk if those even exist, but I get the vibes.

Peter Parker: MJ bought him some bi pins that he has saved in his room. He has some general mspec ones he wears around, that make him look supportive of hims omnisexual girlfriend, and he also can be secretly proud of his bisexuality. He also has an mspec solidarity shirt he only wears at home, with MJ, with Ned, or with Tony. It has bisexual, pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, abrosexual, and other flags and has some phrase about them all being friendly.

MJ Watson: She'd wear lots of omnisexual and mspec pins. Omni for her, and mspec for her and Peter. She'd have a pair of black doc martens that she doesn't wear often but have rainbow laces. She also has a plaid shirt with the omnisexual colors.

Tess: Again, sad day, she doesn't really have anything for pride.

Sam Wilson: Most of his stuff is rainbow things. He was pretty certain he was queer but didn't know in what way, so he only got rainbow stuff for a long time. And he isn't in a spot where he's comfortable to come out as aromantic, so he just says he's queer. But he has an aro flag on the boat, and a tiny little aro flag magnet he keeps on the wings.

Mantis: Gamora gave her a bunch of whatever the galaxy terms to be ace stuff.

Nebula: Someone on Earth would buy her this shirt as a joke.

And the tank top, and the mug, and the short sleeved shirt, and the 3 quarters sleeved shirt, and the hoodie, and anything they can find with this.

That same person also gets a million things (this time including a bumper sticker they put on her ship) with this design or similar.

Vision: Dude can literally make his own clothes pop out of nowhere. He makes himself a non-binary cape sometimes. He also has a couple of enby gifts from Wanda

This art series is for those who want to show their pride for their identity, but might either want or need to do it in more subtle ways. There are many people who are not fully out of the closet. This series is designed to use the colors of pride flags without being overt in their LGBTQ+ references. It is designed so that those who want to can still express themselves and their identity without risk of outing themselves.

38. Do you own pride merch?

Oh boy, I absolutely do! I have A LOT of pride merch. Bisexual hoodie, rainbow and bisexuals bracelets, earrings, a rainbow fan, a looooot of pride stickers, even more badges, phone cases, rainbow bags, a headband with rainbow flowers, even rainbow chalk to use on face. Oh, and a rainbow wings-like cape that I took to the parade last year! And some T-shirts. And 2 rainbow flags, one big and one small. And a huge bisexual flag. Most of my merch is either rainbow or in bi colors but I also bought some pins and stickers with trans, pan, ace and lesbian flags. I even ordered 500 rainbow heart-shaped stickers and give them to my friends whenever I have a chance. And I have some pride-themed face masks. Buying pride merch makes me very happy, I often buy it as gifts (my good friend got a lesbian flag from me a few years ago and I gave rainbow socks and pins to at least 3 other friends lol). I try to be careful actually wearing it in public, especially recently, but I like to have at least one subtle rainbow thing on me wherever I go. It’s kind of comforting and even if it’s subtle, like a bracelet with the colors of bisexual flag, I know that people who know what to look for will recognize the meaning behind it.

Sierra Burgess is a Bisexual

Proof:

This entire scene is shot in lesbian pride flag colors, with the occasional blue and purple hue shifting it to the bi-pride flag colors.

We know this color scheme was added into this scene because none of the other bedroom scenes are bathed in the same light, suggesting that as Sierra and Ronnie get closer, wlw themes become more prevalent.

Bi-pride colors again! This time while she’s looking at who I’ll postulate would be the two main love interests, Jamey and Ronnie. She also panics in this scene when she sees them together (bi mood of the month) and refuses to break them up. (Possibly because that would mean she no longer has a reason to hang out with Ronnie??? My dumb bi ass has worked on a project longer just to hang out with a girl)

In that same scene, upon looking at both of them, the decoration on the wall also seems to be a combination of the ‘male’ and ‘female’ symbols (without the pointed heads).

IDK if it’s a universal bi experience or just me, but I will take every opportunity to deny being “gay” or a “lesbian” if I don’t want to be out to someone, because I’m not gay or a lesbian. I’m bi. I got heavy notes of that every time Sierra rejected ideas that she was gay. She never says she doesn’t like girls, just that she’s not gay. Which is interesting.

Also interesting, Ronnie doesn’t say she wouldn’t “les out” with Sierra, just not Sierra and Jamey. Not wanting to be part of a threesome with two people you think are straight is also a heavy bi mood of the month.

(Also, spot more of that bi lighting. It truly is the year of bisexuals in bi lighting)

This whole scene? Gay. The softness? The closeness? The exchanging of clothes? The laughter? The song playing in the background? Full of wlw energy. Sierra and Ronnie were the queer couple we were denied of this year. I will die on this hill.

This should’ve been a kiss, dammit! I have never seen a more tender moment between two people! The eye acting! The raw emotion! The silent conversation! It pans between them THREE (3) TIMES!!!! Again, we see Sierra having to choose between Jamey and Ronnie (like at the theater) and this time she chooses Ronnie! We don’t ever see her with Jamey again! My stupid bi heart burst at this scene. I love it so much!

THE SONG!

Supposedly this song is for Jamey, the romantic interest. It’s based on a line he says earlier in the movie (”You’d be a rose. The queen of all other flowers”) but this is another instance where we never see Jamey and Sierra interact. It’s Ronnie who listens to the song and who it affects.

Furthermore, Jamey’s reaction that we get to the song is him bringing Sierra is sunflower for the dance (heart eyes emoji, motherfucker) but Ronnie also wears flowers afterwards, which we only see when she’s with Sierra.

(Spot that ring! Not a sunflower, but a daisy, which is as humble as the sunflower)

More on the song? It’s co-written by at least three queer artists: Troye Sivan, Allie-X (who was touring with Hayley Kiyoko earlier in the year. I got to see them. It was awesome), and Leland.

Let’s look at my fave lyrics:

The beginning of Sierra and Ronnie’s relationship is tumultuous because Ronnie doesn’t want to be seen with Sierra because she’s a ‘loser’. While this is supposedly only supposed to be speaking to Jayme’s interest in popular girls, I mean, it could be speaking to Ronnie’s interest in popular girls too. Since Ronnie is the first to listen to it and all. We also only see Sierra changing her appearance (and not much! My fave part of the movie is that she doesn’t have to change to get the guy!) when Ronnie asks her to (the eyebrow plucking. Literally, that’s it. But still, the song mentions transformation.)

Speaking of transformation! The biggest transformation comes from Ronnie changing from a shallow, image obsessed mean girl, blossoming into the kind hearted, funny, intelligent soul that she is under all the hurt. IDK, I just thought it was worth mentioning. I love this song. I love these characters.

One last thing on the song:

Him or Her!!!! Sierra’s English teacher is the coolest, most with it character in the whole movie (and isn’t that true of real life English teachers, right?) and she can imagine Sierra being in love with a girl.

Not to mention, the way Sierra’s ‘masculinity’ and ‘ugliness’ is not only addressed, but accepted by her gives me heavy dyke feelings (in the reclaimed connotation), as does her non-performance of traditional femininity in her presentation of self, particularly around other girls and women

Then she gets to have this kick ass line

Damn Sierra!!!

Not to mention the way she totally owns her voice (which is something I struggle with hard) TO THE BOY THAT SHE LIKES, I COULD NEVER

Also, can we talk about how Ronnie is leaving behind a version of herself that she learned wasn’t true over the course of her relationship with Sierra, as well as pursuing a passion she became aware of because of Sierra?

Because that shit is not subtle

#TuaPrideMonth Day 3 - Pride Parade

Klaus could hardly wait until June. Every year, he went all out for pride month, going head to toe in his pan and nonbinary colors, attending every pride parade in the tristate area, and buying anything and everything rainbow.

But this year would be even more special. Because this year all of his siblings would be taking part in pride with him.

After they had managed to avoid the apocalypse, the seven had grown closer as a family. They caught Five up on modern slang and memes, they trained Vanya in her powers, and Klaus was able to successfully manifest Ben to join in on the fun. So when Klaus mentioned his annual pride activities, his siblings politely requested to join in as well. Klaus, naturally, was overjoyed.

Finally, after much waiting, June rolled around, along with the first pride parade. Klaus skipped around his siblings, helping them adjust their pride attire.

Luther, the most conservative, hesitantly wore a pin with the bi flag, though later he would acquire a cape as well. Diego wore his trans and bi flags with pride, along with face paint. Allison looked as elegant as ever, in a flower crown with the pan colors and a matching designer scarf. She, being the rich, influential movie star she is, managed to convince her favorite brands to release affordable, high quality pride clothing items. Allison has also decided to dye her hair to match. Five, though at first a bit hesitant, wore a bi colored blazer with a demisexual shirt on underneath. Ben simply wore a rainbow flag and asexual shirt, after Klaus finally figured out how to make “ghost clothing.” Vanya, although shy initially, wore a lesbian shirt, and her jean jacket Klaus has bought her was decorated with lgbt+ pins and patches.

Klaus, to no ones surprise, went the most out. He brought out his old flags, his favorite pan jacket and nb crop top, his rainbow pants, and his glittery pride shoes. He too had face paint on, and was looking very sparkly. To top it all off, Klaus wore lots and lots of pins.

Klaus smiled excitedly at all his siblings. “Who’s ready for the first pride parade with the entire umbrella academy?”

Vanya never felt like she was apart of something. Her whole life, she had never been appreciated. She was always the ordinary one, the extra one, the forgotten one. Even after the apocalypse was prevented and she was included in the family, it was hard for her to feel accepted. Even when she had first admitted to Klaus that she was attracted and he hugged her, telling her he was happy she told him, Vanya couldn’t help but wait for the catch. But here she was, surrounded by people like her, and for once Vanya felt like she belonged. So she smiled, filled with pride.

Ben was hesitant going to Pride. He was still a ghost after all. But through a lot of concentration and practice on Klaus’s end, the sixth Hargreeves was alive for a day. Wrapped in his rainbow flag, constantly having his siblings hug him, assuring him and themselves that he was really there, getting to be apart of such a wonderful family, even with all of their flaws, Ben knew he was more than just “The Horror.” So he smiled, filled with pride.

Five grew up in the apocalypse, so he never had the chance to explore his sexuality or grow closer to his siblings. But now that Five - the Hargreeves siblings had prevented the apocalypse, the Boy had the chance to do both. Five finally had the do-over he had always wanted, the opportunity to know what the modern world was really like with, the opportunity to discover himself. But most importantly, Five was so damn proud of his family. So he smiled, filled with pride.

Klaus always felt pride during June. He was always proud of the fact that he was apart of the LGBT+ community. But this June, he wasn’t just proud of his sexuality and gender. He was proud of his family, for coming together and discovering themselves. He was proud of himself, for becoming more than the useless, gay junkie. For being able to master his powers. For being more than Reginald’s greatest disappointment. So he smiled, filled with pride.

Allison always had whatever she wanted. Her rumors had lead her to riches, fame, and happiness. Or so it would seem. But she would never really be happy. Everyday, Allison was painfully aware that she was lying to herself, until it got too much. So she quit her rumors. Than Five returns, and Allison was launched into the most impactful eight days of her life. Afterward, Allison was able to connect both her families; her siblings and her daughter. Allison also opened up about her sexuality to the public, and used her influence for good, without rumors. Allison was proud of herself, and her family. So she smiled, filled with pride.

Diego knew that he never opened up to his family. He thought that he didn’t need connections. But after the eight days that brought together his family ended, he realized just how false that was. Diego was never subtle about his sexuality or gender. He started wearing binders at age 14, and hung a bisexual flag in his room shortly after. But it wasn’t until after him and his siblings prevented the apocalypse did Diego really know what it meant to be prideful. It was being accepting of yourself and the people you hold close. And Diego was finally able to admit that he matched those requirements. So he smiled, filled with pride.

Luther thought that no one would forgive him after he had locked up Vanya, his sister. Luther still hadn’t forgiven himself. But his siblings assured him that that decision was a product of his trauma, which was no less valid than that of his siblings. They encouraged him to go to therapy, which helped significantly. And so Luther was able to discover himself, realizing his sexuality, as well as how much he loved his siblings. His family was proud of how he’s changed, and Luther was proud of himself. He might have flaws, but those flaws do not define him. So he smiled, filled with pride.

Reasons I Might Be Trans

Warning: I talk about my sexuality in this post, including bedroom activities. (I don’t normally discuss those things online.) If you are related to me or don't want to know things like that about me, turn away now. Thanks.

I don't think I'm 100% a cis woman. But I hate thinking of myself as trans, because I largely think of the pain that I see trans people go through when I think of applying that label to myself. As I'm living right now, as someone who looks like a married straight woman with a masculine clothing sensibility to average onlookers, I don't have to worry about gendered violence against my perceived gender variance. The worst I might get is an assumption that I'm a lesbian, because of my short hair and masculine clothes, but since it’s so infrequent an occurrence in my life, that's not on the same level of badness as being denied a job because I don't resemble my pronoun enough to a prejudiced boss. Or to being threatened or attacked when on a date with my S.O - who right now, is a cis man. (I’m poly, but I only have one partner right now.) My transness would feel fake - unearned - if it was real. Since I also don't have problems with the AFAB-accessory of the female pronouns, I have to look closer at my life for more subtle clues scattered through it, to determine whether or not I am genderqueer - specifically, genderfluid:

Reasons I might be trans:

I got a thrill when I was mistaken for a man in public once.

I've done 3 Halloween costumes representing pop culture figures that I really cared about. Two of them were men. (During the Beetlejuice/Lydia costume when I was Lydia, I was jealous of my parenter for being in the better costume. So I won't count it.)

My steampunk costume was male.

Many of my sexual fantasies involve playing a male role.

I exclusively watched male - male porn for most of my porn watching life. I only started watching male - female and female - female after I developed a stronger attraction to women recently.

I feel a weird kinship with gay men. I used to joke about probably having been one in a past life. (I now think that it is because I want to be one.)

I asked a gay man about whether or not I would be accepted as a man if I transitioned, and still only dated men, 10 years ago. I buried that idea as silly and foolish after I decided that it would be easier to find a straight partner than to first transition and then to find an accepting male partner. (That's a normal, totally cis thing to wonder, right?) I didn't know at the time that medically transitioning wasn't necessary to be trans.

Most of my fashion icons are men.

I accept and respond to "he"/"him"/"dude"/"son"/"brother"

I have had a few changed gender dreams

At work, I panic about accidentally walking into the men's room when the women's restroom is painted the same color as the men's . Would a cis person panic about that? Almost every time?

My ideal wedding outfit is a tux, not a dress

I have considered and rejected getting my upper lip hair electrically removed "in case I really need those hairs some day" (What kind of 'some day' would that be, I think to my dumb self??)

Reasons I might not be trans

I accept and respond to "she"/"her"/"woman"/"daughter"/"sister"/"mommy" (when referring to my cat, I’m not a parent.)

I reject "daddy" when referred to as that re: my cat

I have no desire to permanently remove my breasts or to change the shape of my genitals

I use the woman's room without worrying about looking wrong for it

I like dresses and makeup sometimes - makeup, more.

I could just be a slightly butch bi/pan woman with a penis fetish and a love for male fashion and an acceptance of male pronouns. That is a normal thing to be and not genderqueer at all, right?

Some of the things on the "not trans" list don't invalidate gender fluidity. So. Here I am, now, suspecting that it might be a thing, maybe.

now that i’m back from vacation, and it’s JUNE, i thought it was time for a fun headcanon post before i dive back into all the replies i owe lol

i am nonbinary and queer & this is how i interpret my characters and their pride-month activities, full respect intended for all identities listed below 🎉

this is my collection of queer characters, who i love not just because they are queer, but also, i’m glad that they are. below are descriptions of how i think they’d spend pride:

wei wuxian: this man is bisexual; throughout his many years in D.C. he’s had many terrible dates/great dates with people who are women and also with people who aren’t women. he’d be decked out in bi-flag facepaint colors and front row for the pride parade with a group of as many friends as he can gather. he’s unaware and doesn’t remember his soulmate lan wangji who isn’t here anyway, so he’ll probably go home with someone at least once over the pride weekend festivities (although he sort of does that all year round anyway). it will be a nice time had by all.

martin blackwood: martin is gay. he’s fairly inexperienced with relationships in general, and he probably downloaded grindr then immediately deleted the app out of vague panic. he never would have mentioned it to his mum when she was alive because there was no reason to, and he wouldn’t mention it outright to his coworkers, though he would answer honestly if asked directly. he’s not much of a crowds-person so i think his main pride month activity would probably be attending a low-key drag bingo event at a bar somewhere that’s warm and welcoming but not overly crowded. he’d probably take home some cheap sunglasses as a prize and be very pleased by it.

patroclus: he’s gay as well. sadly he probably got scheduled to work at the hospital most shifts during pride so he won’t get out to the festivities, but he wears a subtle pride pin on his nurse badge this month, since that’s allowed in the dress code.

orpheus: currently in a hetero-passing relationship but probably bi otherwise? and THE most supportive of people on the lgbtq+ spectrum. almost definitely owns a “love is love” bumper sticker that he doesn’t actually put on anything because he doesn’t have a car. he’ll donate money to trans-related crowdfunding websites when he comes across them online even if he doesn’t really have the money to spare, and he is made immeasurably happy by the whole vibe at pride.

henry strauss: this man is canonically bi. he’s probably still working at the bookshop during pride but he took it upon himself to set up a special section in the front of the store featuring underrated queer authors, and he’ll go out and get fully trashed at the bars late at night to get the full Pride(tm) experience.

(sidenote: i do acknowledge that pride-- and the lgbtq+ community in general-- needs more non-alocholic spaces, but, like, getting trashed at the bars is my favorite pride activity so it is what it is. -ollie)

wen kexing: this man is gay and canonically loud about it. he is the type of person who literally tells his crush roughly the equivalent of “have i mentioned i like men?” so i am sure he would special-order a hanfu that elegantly includes every color of the pride flag rainbow, and he’s probably found atop a corporate-backed float in the parade.

ki yu ri: she’s probably pan in my interpretation of her. i honestly don’t know what she’d do during pride?? probably get up to the same mischief as always. nothing special, actually-- though she’d almost certainly take advantage of the crowds and the chaos to make extra trouble.

melanie king: my one lesbian character. she has a lot of strong opinions about pride (she has strong opinions about everything lol) that basically boil down to “ban cops and ban corporations” and she supports only buying pride merch from queer artists and creators. she’ll go to the parade, and she’ll probably fight a terf while she’s there if any cross her path.

pippin took: my interpretation of pippin is definitely queer in some way, though i don’t think he’s interested in labels so idk what specifically he’d identify as, if you were to ask him. but he’s very supportive of any reason for people to have a good time and celebrate themselves. 100% gets sunburnt at the parade.

yuri plisetsky: he’s never been interested in women at all and has been attracted to fellow figure skaters who are men, so he’s pretty sure he’s queer, but also: he’s too busy with his training to really care much. he’ll go to pride events only if someone drags him there. otherwise, he’ll keep to his usual daily schedule and not bother with it much.

noah czerny: he’s not strictly canonically queer but he’s not strictly canonically straight, either, so i actually like interpreting him as bi. anyway, he looks perpetually 18 despite being much older so he’ll never get into 21+ pride events, but i think he’d have a great time at pride hopping around the different concert stages in the park where people are performing their musical acts during the day & night (and actually, since he’s so ghostly cold all of the time, he’d be the perfect pride companion because of how ridiculously hot it always is)

(sidenote: my favorite thing that has ever happened to me at any pride event was when i happened to be in london during pride in like 2018 and i was suffering what i’m pretty sure was some form of heatstroke at the parade. and a glitter-covered stranger took one long look at me, like all teh way up and down, walked away-- then walked back a full five minutes later, HANDED ME A FAN, and walked away without a word. hero. why is pride in the middle of summer? it’s the worst. anyway, i owe that stranger my life and i think about them every year around this time. -ollie)

and then there’s also my small collection of heterosexuals, who i care less about in regards to describing their pride month activities specifically but who i’ll mention what they’d be doing anyway:

holland vosijk: straight and confused by pride month because it doesn’t exist where he’s from. on the day of the parades/festival etc in D.C. he’d stay home only because he’s annoyed that there are so many people out and about. not unsupportive, just apathetic.

kaz brekker: he is straight; has literally only ever been interested in inej and at this point he doesn’t even remember her. he does not involve himself in pride month activities but kaz will let everyone working for him have take time off for pride, though. if they remember to ask.
