Favourite Bucktommy as Dads headcanons that have me wanting to write 100 fics.

Buck and Tommy decide they don't want to know which of them is their child's biological father, because if they've learnt anything over the years it's that biology has nothing to do with family. They both provide samples and an embryo is randomly implanted in their surrogate.

A few weeks prior to the birth, Buck goes full Clipboard and completely plans out their hospital bags, systemises their diaper bags and changing tables. Tommy ends up buying him a big toolchest, which he guts and fills with baby gear and labels the draws accordingly.

Tommy is actually more worried about being a parent than Buck is. Buck has a young niece that he's looked after since she was a baby but Tommy has had little to no experience with newborns and reads books every night from the pregnancy announcement till the birth.

Both men use their parents as a basis of what they don't want to be like as parents. Buck makes sure to tell their child he loves them at least twice a day. Tommy always shows up to their sports games or music recitals and gives them a big hug after and tell them how proud he is of them.

Tommy is a big fan of contact naps. Buck often comes home from work to find Tommy and the baby conked out on the couch or rocking chair, with the baby fast asleep on Tommy's chest while he cradles their head with his hand. Buck has a folder of photos like this in his phone.

Buck asks Christopher if he's okay with Buck having a baby before him and Tommy make solid plans, because Christopher is his son too and he never wants him to feel as though he's being replaced. Christopher is overjoyed and is the first person in their extended family to hold the baby when they're born.

The first time the baby gets sick, Buck stays up all night and holds them as they cry. Tommy tries to sleep so at least one of them is rested, but he gives up a couple of hours in and gets Buck to bring the baby into bed with them. They take turns cuddling the baby and cleaning up sick and eventually the three of them pass out sometime after dawn, all cuddle up together.

Buck likes older, more traditional names for their child, whereas Tommy likes more radical and uncommon names. They finally settle on a name the week before the baby is born.

Tommy's favourite sight in the world is when Buck carries the baby around the house in the little front pack, so the baby can see the world while he cleans or cooks.

Both men watch their baby as they sleep for the first few nights after they're born and can't believe just how lucky they are to have this perfect little human that they made.

and hawks is pretty jealous too! he knows what it's like to have a lot of admirers and he doesn't like his partner having those too. he's scared you would be too nice and couldn't reject your admirer, so hawks always sticks around you and tells anyone getting too close to you to back off!

hawks is really clingy, but only if nobody else is around. sure, if others are there he'll still keep an arm around you, but if they are alone he will shower you with kisses!

he also loves getting really sweet present for you or just surprise you with a date! those often include flying across the city to your date destination

Call me delulu for this one, but the parallel occurred to me whilst studying for an upcoming test and now it’s all I can think about so of course I had to post it.

The two times Dick went berserk over what had been done to Jason and I’m all here for it.

The panel on the left is when Joker kidnapped Tim and made the mistake of mentioning Jason’s name. That famous moment that Dick *killed* Joker.

The panel on the right is Gotham War when Dick finds out Bruce kidnapped Jason and psychologically manipulated him.

Funny thing is, both times Tim stopped him, and the one he was a little late for. Makes me wonder how far Dick would have gone if Tim hadn’t been there to stop him beating Bruce.

[Im gonna put a little headcanon in the following, so beware.]

The parallel kinda occurred to me because I was imagining a scenario actually. Post Gotham war where Dick’s taking Jason away from Gotham and all it’s crazyness. So they’re in the car and Dick’s driving, looking out at the roadside and the sun’s beating down on lush green grass and he’s reminiscing about a forgotten memory buried deep in the treasure trove of his most cherished memories of a time long bygone. A memory of himself and Jason picnicking out near the manor grounds one day with Alfred and Bruce. And they were playing some game of chase or another that ended up in a bit of rough housing and lighthearted bickering and hearty laughter and—It turned out to be such a good day. A rare memory.

And what if they stopped on the way to picnic on the roadside, for old time’s sake? Because they’ve got a blanket in the back and they’ve already packed food for the road and basically they’ve got everything they’d need, and wouldn’t it be such a shame if they let that opportunity to go to waste?

So here they were now, stomachs full and lying on their backs, staring at a partly cloudy sky, playing a childish game of pointing out the shapes of passing clouds to each other. It’s a little stupid, and because it’s stupid they start arguing over pointless stupid details. A harmless argument that—ironically enough—develops into a round of rough housing, again. And maybe for just a moment they’d both allowed themselves to forget what they’re running away from. But a frown flashes over Jason’s expression for the barest of seconds and Dick just—stops.

They’ve ended up with Jason on his back and Dick over and above him, and Dick can’t help but caress his hair, touch the side of his face, checking his expression and body responses to make sure that Jason’s alright.

And Jason’s fine—Dick stop fussing, it was just a moment!

So Dick’s hand just drops and he’s moving away, not looking at Jason, not able to meet his eyes.

He’s holding himself in that way he does when his thoughts are chipping away at his soul, a sight that’s become recognizable to Jason over the years. “What happened?”

Nothing but the usual, he wants to say. Once again something terrible happened to you and I wasn’t there to stop it. To protect you. But I made sure to take out the simmering rage running through my vains out on the man responsible with my fists. Because that’s what I can do. Twice you needed me, and twice I wasn’t there. But I made sure they paid for it, right? I made sure of it.

eren jaeger has a dramatic wind up to his sneeze. you can see it in his face like thirty seconds before he actually does it.

mikasa ackerman doesn’t sneeze. nobody’s ever seen her do it.

armin arlert sneezes into his elbow like the king he is. he’s not a super germaphobe but he takes his & others health serious.

connie springer totally free sneezes. it’s the type of sneeze that dads usually do. loud & startling & out of control.

jean kirstein does it pretty normally. also always uses his elbow.

sasha braus has long ones. like eren, she has a dramatic windup but the sneeze itself is pretty quiet. lot of build up for nothing.

ymir always holds hers in so they come out completely silent.

historia reiss sneezes like a kitten or like a grown man. there’s no in between.

erwin smith always says “excuse me” after he does. he is also a victim of the dad sneeze.

levi ackerman uses a handkerchief to catch it. it’s pretty quiet.

hange zoe always tries to fight them off and continues talking but you can tell how hard they’re trying to not do it. eyes watering the whole time.

annie leonhardt also has never been caught sneezing.

pieck finger is a kitten sneezer.

porco galliard literally says the word “achoo!” when he does it.

zeke jaeger is yet another victim of the dad sneeze. he also always does it three times in a row.

Since I'm now the self appointed CEO of pregnant ghouls...

The band coming back from tour. Aether and Sunny stayed behind, having to deal with the Ministry taxes.

The band ghouls get off the bus in front of the Ministry, where Aether and Sunny are waiting for them.

From a distance, Aether looks very well fed. But, as the pack get closer and closer, they realise it's something else entirely.

Aether's standing there, one hand on his rounded belly, one hand on his back. And he smells of a mix of milk and baby powder.

Swiss goes to tackle hug him, but gets held back by Cirrus. Cumulus and Aurora move closer and coo over the bump sweetly. Dew's just in shocked silence. He needs to process this alone, with just him and Aether.

Rain offers a soft "Congratulations!" but stays back, he's not been around many pregnant ghouls and it makes him a little uncomfortable. Mountain leans down and kisses Aether's head, then whispers a quiet blessing in Ghoulish. Phantom's never seen a pregnant Ghoul before, he thinks Aether just has a beer belly.

When they're alone, back in Dew's room, Aether and Dew cuddle in silence for a long time while Dew works it over in his head. He is excited, he just needs to process it first.

Finally, Dew asks the question. "How many are in there, then?"

"Two, love."

"Oh... I thought quints had big litters..."

"They do. Two's the average size for a fire ghoul litter, though."

And Dew's head snaps up.

Your fingers trace shapes in the damp sand and Finnick tilts his head to lock eyes with you.

"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours, hm?" Finnick asks, reaching up and running the pad of his thumb over your cheekbones.

You squirm under his intense gaze. It's like he can look right through you and see into your soul. "Nothing," you whisper innocently. Finnick fixes you with a look that says he believes otherwise. You manage to hold your ground for another few seconds before relenting. "I hate it here," you sigh.

"I know honey," he offers you a sad smile and falls quiet, running his thumb over your knuckles. "Would a kiss make you feel better? Cause you look real gorgeous in the moonlight baby," he grins.

Your eyes go wide and you itch to put some distance between the two of you. "People are watching," you point at the cameras hidden in the tall trees.

"Let them," Finnick shrugs. "I love you, honey. I'm tired of pretending I don't."

Your heart flutters in your chest and your insides turn to goo. "You are such a sap," your lips quirk upwards into a smile and you pull him into a kiss.

You know what? I lied! Come on guys, field trip to Commander Rhapsodos' office where you'll spend the next 6 hours hearing him recite Loveless."

Sephiroth: Turns around very slowly, very creepily and stares directly into the culprit's eyes for an uncomfortable amount of time. The class is so quiet, the only sounds are those of the desks rattling as the cadets shake in fear. Then he whisks the paper plane off the floor, slowly walks towards them (making the cadet scream) and hands the paper airplane back. The cadet passes out.

★ Zack: "Alright, guys, turn to page 15—Hey! Who threw that!? Good aim, man! PAPER BALL FIGHT! EVERYONE FOR THEMSELVES" *Proceeds to have a paper ball fight with the cadets*

Saw a post about teeny tiny humans headbutting to show affection after witnessing cats doing it. And I instantly thought of Vulcans.

Vulcans who have big cat bears hanging out in their house as the family pet.

I’m just imagining baby Vulcans, so used to touch because of telepathy and early childhood bond forming. So used to having their parents touch their psi-points to initiate a bond.

And they have a cat teddy bear who loves rubbing their face all over their favorite person. So Vulcan toddlers press their psi-points to all their favorite things. Trying to telepathically connect with their stuffed animals, butting their head against their mom’s hand, forehead connecting with a shoulder while sitting at a tea ceremony. Unfocused early meditation lessons where the kid just gets up and smacks their head against dad’s a little too hard
