Breaks into tears once the fight with your kidnappers is over

He's hard to understand cause his voice keeps cracking from worry

Visibly tired but stays up the whole night anyway to make sure you don't have nightmares

Talks loudly when he should be whispering, all from worry

One of the rare times when you see him absolutely furious

Keeps an eye on you for days after

Blushes when you constantly call him your hero

Bakugo absolutely loses his mind when you go missing

Yells at everyone who was on the mission with you

Blames himself most of all but he can save that self-loathing for after he saves you

Very brutal and angry while he fights, so much so that he's the one who looks like the bad guy

Scares the living shit out of everyone but you

Holds onto you like his life depends on it

No one else can touch you, he barely even lets doctors do it

Snaps his fingers and makes angry sparks while he waits

Gets even more protective, real guard dog energy

Does not allow himself to cry in front of you

Shoto keeps a cool head while looking for you

Even when he's talking to your kidnappers he's calm

The only time his composure cracks is when they threateen to hurt you in front of him

A noticable drop in temperature happens right then

He's a little less careful when fighting if your life is on the line

Won't hesitate to use his fire quirk as a a scare tactic

Gets almost as scary as his dad

Cools any injuries you have so it's easier for you to handle them while you get actual medical attention

Doesn't realize half of him is burning while the other half of the waiting room wall is frozen solid

The first thing he does when he sees you is kiss you

Mirio tries to keep his composure but it's cracking fast

Those who know him best can already see how worried he is

Always pushed himself far but esoecially now, he's all over the place

Snaps at his friends when they tell him he's pushing himself too much

Makes really quick work of your kidnappers, he can't stand the sight of them

Talks very little while fighting so you know he is rightfully pissed

Nothing can keep him out of your room that night

Makes sure to smile around you a lot

Cries as soo as you tell him you can see how much pain he's in

Has nightmares for a few days after

Keigo flies all over the city in a wild frenzy

Almost crashed a few times because he kept pushing his wings to their limit

Close to pasing out when he finally finds you

He is not in a mood to hear what the kidnappers want

Just wants them gone and you safe in his arms

Only has a few feathers left so he needs to make this quick

Doesn't stick around for any press talk or picrures

To be honest he doesn't see this as something people should know to many details off

You need to get home where he can keep an eye on you and look you over for injurues but it looks it's just a few scratches

As soon as his wings grow back he wraps them protectively around you

Touya is surprised anyone has the nerve to kidnap his girlfriend

Your kidnapers must have a death wish

Makes a very big and loud enerance, they should all know how much trouble they're in

Almost kills all of them in his anger, the only thing that makes him pause is your crying face

You've already been through enough today, he won't add you seeing him like a killer

But these guys won't ever think of kidnaping everyone ever again

If he could he would put you in a box and never let anyone so much as see you

Does give you as much freedom as you need however he insists that he's always with you from now on

Seems like his fearsome reputation is no longer enough to keep you safe

He'll glady make examples of anyone who tries to hurt you

Keigo is still home when you wake up, a rare occurrence given his hours. You stare down at your phone to read through a few texts from Dabi and look up when you hear an abrupt sound. Your brother is making scrambled eggs wearing your frilly apron and a pair of boxers. You can’t help but giggle at the sight of him whistling a little flourish while he flips the spatula through the air.

“‘Morning, Dove. Sleep well?”

You blush, remembering that you fell asleep while Keigo was preening your wings. You’d woken, tangled in sheets and diagonal across the mattress. “Did I steal the covers last night?”

He grins that heartbreaking grin of his that comes so naturally when he’s around you. “Only a little. I kept plenty warm, considering you were half on top of me.

“I’m sorry.”

He bats away the apology. “If it bothered me, we’d have separate beds. You’ve always been clingy in your sleep.”

To be fair, so is he. It’s a remnant of your childhood, when you were each other’s only real family. You still are, but now you have a stable life to go along with your relationship.

There was a time Keigo left. It was sometime after your father was finally arrested, when your memories become a blur for a while. You know you were hungry and cold and sad. Your mother was annoyed at your complaints, but there was nothing she could do about them. She yelled at Keigo, called him useless, and he took off.

You think you saw him once after that, then nothing.

For a little while, you stayed alone with your mother. She rarely helped you with clothes or food or anything, really, so you quickly became a mess of a child. By the time the HPSC dropped in to pluck you from Tomie’s grasp, you were in such deplorable state that Keigo became furious when you saw him.

It was in the penthouse, your now-home. He’d fought with the commission to get a place for you, and a separate one for your mother. When you asked why, he always shrugged and muttered something about everyone being happier this way.

Keigo had run across the bare floor and dropped to his knees to look at you. “Did mom hurt you?” His hands were warm on your shoulders, his eyes boring into your own. You shook your head. “Did she feed you?” he asked next, to which you shrugged. Keigo sighed, glanced up at an adult and said, “Go get her something to eat.”

It was the first time you ever heard Keigo give a command.

Your brother guides you to the table, snapping you from your memories. He has a full plate and orange juice all laid out.

“Thank you, Keigo.”

He beams. “You’re welcome.” He has made himself a plate with more food than yours. He spends all day most days out on patrol and apparently flying takes a lot of energy, so he keeps fueled. You’ve always marveled at how much he can scarf down per meal.

Your phone buzzes and he frowns at it. “Just a friend from school,” you explain, though you have the phone upside down, so it’s not like you can see the screen. He hums in response.

“Do you have the day off?” Hope lays thick in your voice. You’d promised to see Dabi later, but he’d understand that Keigo is home.

He shakes his head. “No, I just had a little time this morning. Sorry, Dove. I know I owe you some one-on-one time, but things are hectic at work right now.”

You know what that’s code for. “The commission has you on a special mission, huh?” You hate when this happens. They suck the life out of your brother, promising him the moon for one more little favor. It never ends; you know they’ve sent him to do things he shouldn’t, things he won’t talk about to anyone, but especially you. He could never ruin your image of him; it would break him.

You tell him you’ll love him anyway, but he just shakes his and smiles sadly.

“Yeah. It’s a really important one, though. It might stop a war.”

“Does it have to do with that guy who fought All Might?” you ask. He’s behind bars, but maybe he has some sort of team who can take over his evil plans.

Keigo bites his lip. “You know I can’t tell you anything about it.”

“Yeah, yeah, secret squirrel stuff.” You raise a hand in defeat. “I know.”

“The secretest.” He puts your plates in the dishwasher after you’ve both cleared them, then pulls you into his arms for a hug. “I told them I’m taking a break after this one. I need it. We’ve all been working our asses off since All Might retired, but the flame man and I most of all.”

His heart is a steady beat against your ear. You wrap your arms around your brother and take in how much stronger he is than you. Even without him feathers, he could throw you over his shoulder. He takes his work seriously, despite his carefree appearance. You squeeze him, aware of how strong some villains are and how small your brother is compared to some. “You promise?”

Keigo rubs your back. “I promise. They won’t get anything outta me for at least a month.”

“A month?” The idea thrills you; you’ve never gotten to spend that much time free with him.

“Yep, just you and me. We can do anything, go anywhere.”

You grin up at him. “I can’t wait.”

“You know for someone who’s always out and about, you always seem to make time for me.” You softly smile upon hearing your front door open and then close.

“How’d you know it was me?” He asked, taking off his coat with a tussle.

You paused your tv show before turning around to look at him.

“Can smell the kfc on you from a mile away” you teased as he scoffed in offense. “Woah, I wear the best cologne.”

“You mean axe body spray?” You added, his lips escaping a laugh. “Not to much on me birdie.” His eyes followed yours as you got up from your spot on the couch to be in his embrace, a smile peering through his lips as he sweetly pecked you.

“The same as always.” He replied, holding you in his arms tiredly. You noticed how he tried to hold himself up. You knew how exhausted he was from working so often, and how bad he wanted to collapse into your arms. Still, he always kept that last bit of energy for you. “You need to get sleep baby.” You said, pushing the hair out of his face, “nah im fine, I wanna spend some time with you.”

“You can do that in the bedroom.” You added as a smirk grew on his face.

S.Aizawa: Definitely is out cold once he hits the pillow, is already tired as is throughout the day, so once his head is graced with the luxury of a mattress he.is.gone. on days where he’s not as tired he’ll ask for massage, which you happily oblige to, your fingers working out the stress built up from teaching and being a hero. his worries slip away when he’s with you and there’s nothing he loves more than a night where he’s falling asleep in your arms, his mattress having the extra weight of his lover accompanying him.

In the morning, Keigo stretches his body; and it’s ethereal.

The way the Sun peers in through the sheer curtains keeps you in a slight between sleep and cognitive function, eyes hazy and bleary as he slowly gets up from his side of the bed, grunting softly.

It’s warm, it’s so quiet. You blink a few times to watch him go about his morning, and it starts with his wings quickly splaying out, the full spanse of them taking up an underestimated amount of space in the room. They glimmer in the peering sunlight, and you smile softly as they slowly curl back towards him.

His fingers cross over each other before they pull his arms taught above his head, shifting them to the right, then the left, which pops louder than the other side due to more than a few injuries to his left side. His muscles shadow and dance in the light soaking in through the window. He whines softly as he then bends at the waist, wings fluffing back out as he stretches his knees, as if moving out of the way.

Clearly, he must notice you, as one of his pristine feathers immediately darts from the pack and over to you, and before you can reel your foot back in, the plumes swipe over it, making you giggle sleepily and yank it under the covers.

“You liking the show, creep?” he teases, chucking, the feather now shifting to gently nuzzle your cheek, as he does so often.

You nod, “you’re just so pretty, Keigo.”

“Im aware.”

“No, like, really pretty,” you assure, and he sighs before turning around to face you. His hair is stuck up in random places, his eyes sleepy and still heavy from the act of waking up. There’s lines from blankets that imprint his skin, and his feathers fluff out slightly to buff out the flattened areas.

He bends at the waist to be face to face with you, leaning slightly to plant a small kiss to your nose, and you mewl happily at the feeling.

He takes an inhale through his nose, “I’m not half as pretty as you are, babe.” He gently cups your cheek with a warm hand, “trust me. I watch you almost as much as you watch me.”

“Bull,” you tease. “I’m always watching you. You never even look at me.”

He frowns at you dramatically, and before you can assure him you’re teasing, more feathers dart from behind him to yank the blankets off of you, the chill of morning dew making you whine in agony. “Keigo!”
