“Now you can’t call me helpless, water boy.” After finally learning how to ride ilu, you were really playful, swimming with Ao’nung.

“Yeah, that’s because I was your teacher. Otherwise you would be helpless.” Light smile was on his face as he was talking to you. “Hey, who first reaches that stone will be the winner!”

It was really sudden game, but you managed to react fast. Even though your swimming skills improved significantly, you still were far from Ao’nung’s skills. He was way faster and was already standing on that huge stone and looking down at you. His skin was lighter on the sun.

“Come here, I’ll help you” you were about to thank him, but then he added “Loser” and chuckled at your unpleased face.

“Hey! You’re stronger than me and you are water na’vi. I’ll look at you running on the trees and trying to keep your balance with that thick tail!” You pushed his shoulder a little when he helped you to climb up.

“Yeah, I would probably be loser in the forest. I remember you almost killing me that day, I didn’t even recognize you at first. You were in your element and I understood that you’re actually strong. Surprisingly, not really loser.” Ao’nung laughed at last sentence and you pushed him again, but also had fun.

“Yeah, forest is my home. I don’t know how it is possible for people to claim that sea is their home. We’re actually different as you said before.” You sat on the warm stone and looked at the sunset.

“Yes, but we’re still all na’vis, children of Eywa and I didn’t understand it before.” Ao’nung joined you, you were so close that your shoulders were touching each other. “Y/N, you know I’m really sorry what what I did and said. Even though you said you forgave me, I, myself cannot forget it.” His aquatic eyes were looking far at the horizon.

“You don’t need to forget it, you must forgive yourself. I forgive you, but I will never forget about it and that’s not bad. You need to learn from your and others’ mistakes. It is your life and experience. But it is also your choice how to react on all these things happening to you. I could choose not to forgive you and I would be a lifelong burden for both of us. You could choose to be blind and not see anything wrong in your actions and it would break me and my family more and more. But we made our decisions and we’re here now, being friends and having this conversation. It is because we choose peace. Inside us and around us.” You placed your hand on his chest, explaining your thoughts and forgetting about boundaries.

Ao’nung didn’t respond to you, but placed his hand over yours on his chest. You looked up at him and met his gaze. It was so intimate, you could feel the whole atmosphere between you changing vitally. You wanted to remove your hand, but he didn’t let you do this, holding it solidly.

“What are you doing, Ao’nung? Why are you looking at me like this?” All your confidence and playfulness disappeared.

You could feel him examining you. Your eyes, your hair, you lips, your hands. Ao’nung wanted to look at you all day long. Enjoying your beauty and wisdom. You captured his heart, his soul not even knowing about it.

“If you were the Sun, I would burn my eyes but keep looking at you every day. If you were a bird, I would spend all days in the forest listening to you.” He took your other hand, stroking it softly. “I know I hurt you deeply and I know it might be too early to say that as we’ve recently just came to peace. But I don’t know how I can live another day keeping it inside. You told that it is my choice how to react on things happening to me. This thing has been making me crazy for so long and I finally made my choice, Y/N.”

You felt your heart blowing inside of you. You didn’t know what to do or to say. Ao’nung was looking at you for a couple of seconds and then his face got as close to yours that you could feel his warm breath. Your knees felt weak at that type of closeness. One second and he leaves a little kiss in the corner of your lips.

Your eyes widened, breath is our of control. He looks right into your eyes, trying to catch your emotions. Ao’nung is also nervous, but he can’t show it to you since he is a future warrior, Olo'eyktan of the Metkayina. He wants to look strong and mighty in front of you.

“Y/N…”

“I… I need…” all words left your mind “I need to think it over.”

And you left him, running away from that stone. You didn’t even notice how you ended up riding ilu back to your marui. Your heartbeat was going crazy every time you remembered his lips on yours.

“What’s going on..?” You placed your hand on your heart trying to calm down. “Why my heart is beating so fast?”

“Y/N, are you okay?”

Mother’s voice distracted you. She knew something was wrong, you looked shocked. Even your hands were shaking a little.

“What happened? Someone annoyed you?”

“No, I just… I think I have feelings, but I’m not sure.” Neytiri led you to the Marui, looking at you worried.

“You mean feelings to a boy?”

“Yes, he kissed me.” It was hard for you to tell the truth, especially to your mom. You were embarrassed.

“Who was that?” Neytiri was actually excited to know that you’re getting used to the life here. You build your own story here.

“I’m not ready to tell it yet. But I don’t know what to do. He kissed me in the corner of my lips and I ran away. Is he going to hate me?” Helpless look on your face made your mom feel the wave of love. You’re still a kid who is getting through first romantic feeling.

“It’s okay, don’t worry. If he had true feelings to you he won’t be mad.” Her words easined your heart. “But you have to talk to him and explain everything, if you really value him.”

“Okay, thank you sa’nu.” You hugged Neytiri. You really needed it. “I will go for a walk. I need to think about everything.”

“Okay, but don’t be out for too long. You better be home before the eclipse.”

You’d been sitting in your place in the forest for the past 2 hours and trying to understand what you feel. That kiss put you out of your stride completely. You wouldn’t even think about having feelings to Ao’nung if he didn’t do this.

These days, every time you got physically close to each other you felt a little awkward and shy which is unusual for you. This never happened with Roxto or other guys.

“Do I like him?” As you asked yourself you felt your heartbeat increasing.

“Y/N, what are you doing here? We’ve been looking for you.” You saw Neteyam coming out from the bushes.

“Sorry, I was just thinking, this place is peaceful.” You moved a little to let your brother sit next to you. “I thought it’s my secret place, but I guess it’s not.”

“Yeah, sorry.” He looked at you apologizing. “What are you thinking about? I see you’re worried.”

“I don’t think you would like to hear it.”

“C’mon, I’m your big brother. I won’t get mad, promise.” He patted you on the head, waiting for your speech.

“I think, I have feelings to Ao’nung.” you were really cautious when revealed the truth. “He kissed me today and I don’t know what to do.”

You were afraid to look at him. Silence made you nervous.

“I see.”

Neteyam looked thoughtful. You had no idea what’s going on in his mind. For you his opinion on this was the most important. You really needed his support as an older brother.

“Talk to him.”

They were constantly blamed for killing all of monster kind in the no mercy route, despite players choosing to go that route. People ignored that they sacrificed themselves to attempt to free the monsters from the underground.

everyone wants to blame their own actions (genocide route) on chara, who is a literal child. i don’t know how to tell you this but you are the one playing the game. it’s about YOUR CHOICES. chara is there is punish you for that, you killed the only family that ever loved them! how could they not be upset at that! also if you don’t mind, here’s a good video essay on the subject

Amane Momose (12):

Amane was voted guilty in the first trial so that she would acknowledge her guilt. It backfired, and now she’s considered a threat. Well, everyone is a threat, but nobody’s threat level has been as heavily discussed and debated as hers. Consider the next prisoner in line, Mikoto. He’s objectively more dangerous and cannot be restrained. He beat up the guard in trial 1, and he was able to hold his own when the other guilty prisoners were attacked. But a good incentive to forgive him is so that he will calm down. You know what? That’s a good incentive to forgive Amane too! But she *can* be restrained, so a good portion of the discussion went into how she should be voted guilty so she *will* be restrained and not a threat. Since her vote was a near 50/50, of course a good chunk of the voters expressed dissatisfaction with her forgiven verdict. Some are already planning to vote her guilty for trial 3, calling her a “lost cause”. She hasn’t even done any concrete harm yet. Hold the pitchforks until she actually causes harm, please? And what if she *was* voted guilty in trial 2? We’ve been warned that she will continue to deny our judgement. A second guilty verdict won’t make her better either, and then what? She’d be called a “lost cause” as well. There is no winning with her.

Where do I even start? So first of all she’s an cult child who was physically and mentally abused and tortured by her parents and then (presumably) murdered her mother after her mother killed a cat that she took care of.

Now everyone in Milgram is a murderer but when Amane came and her MV showed her murder and circumstance in an admittedly highly fictionalized depiction of it the audience decided to…repeat the cycle of abuse!

She was voted guilty for the main reason of “teaching her” and helping her “realize that she was abused.” I would like to note that this tough love approach is something her parents utilized against her. “We are only doing this to help you.”

So the audience replicates Amane’s abusers and repeats the cycle of abuse and that’s pretty shitty but it isn’t exactly “Fuck Em Kids” level.

And then Trial 2 happened. Cause Amane is bitter and angry and horrifically traumatized so she acts aggressive and hostile. Especially towards another prisoner.

Now, again, everyone here is a fucking murderer (of atleast could be constructed as one) These people being able to Harm is a core concept of this series.

Yet for some reason it feels like people treat Amane as a “delusional creepy kid who wants to kill people” which completly takes away the nuance of her character. She does have the capacity to harm! Everyone here does! She’s not Uniquly Dangerous! She just has a Reason to be Dangerous. A Reason we GAVE HER by REPEATING THE CYCLE OF ABUSE.

In short: In a series full of Murderers I’m honestly a bit pissed that the 12 year old abuse victim is the one who’s treated like the guy from American Pyscho.

TL;DR: "We metavoted this abused, indoctrinated child guilty in trial 1, but it didn't work. Now she is a threat to three grown adults: one who is fully free and two whom she has been shown to get along with. Please metavote her guilty again so she will be restrained and unable to attack them, even though that means subjecting her to further psychological torture." Amane Momose is the youngest of ten murderers, prisoners of Milgram who are to be judged innocent (forgiven) or guilty (unforgiven). In the first interrogation (voice drama), she said that what she did was in line with her religion's doctrines. If we judged her the "wrong way", she said she will just deny the verdict. Combining the voice drama and music video, you could piece together that she was raised in a cult and abused, even though she is cheerful and downplays her pain. She never shows *who* she killed, only *why* she did. After the first day of her vote, she was 81% innocent, but this wouldn't last the whole three months. Many people voted her guilty so she would "see her sins", part of the practice commonly known as "metavoting". Her innocent percentage rapidly decreased, and she hit guilty in the last 15 days, finishing at 51% guilty. At the end of the first trial, Jackalope (who is something like a host) went over all the prisoners' verdicts and commented on the general reasoning. When he got to Amane, he *laughed* at the audience for voting that way to make her realize her sins. Trial 2 rolled around, and it was revealed that Amane's victim was her abuser. On day one, she was at 74% innocent. Seems like a cut-and-dry case now, right? Well... in the intermission, two of the prisoners (Fuuta and Mahiru) were badly beaten up and became reliant on the care of Shidou, a doctor. Amane became hostile to Shidou because what he was doing was against her beliefs. She visited all three of them on their birthdays to convince them to change their ways. She seems to be especially close to Fuuta, who is now murmuring about salvation. Guilty prisoners are psychologically tortured, forced to listen to voices that reject their beliefs. Fuuta and Mahiru both say that the mental strain is worse than their physical injuries. But Amane, who also looks worse for wear, was thrown under the bus because she isn't injured and is considered a physical threat to them (never mind that she gets along with them). She's considered a threat to Shidou, a grown man who is twice her size and fully free, while she is partially restricted by the long sleeves in her trial 2 uniform. She might indoctrinate Fuuta even though, in a prison of ten people and one guard, she's the only voice of her cult. Fortunately, she got a break. Her vote was falling at a similar rate to the first trial. But this time, it stabilized at 51% innocent, 12 days before the end of her vote. But there's no way this is over.

Small info (please, read!)

Guys, unluckily now I cannot write anything since I’m taking care of my little cousins..

But I wanted to clarify something first. I was thinking about deleting all the bots I had made on character.ai, only because I didn’t want to spread the idea that I had made them because I wanted to disrespect all the worldwide social writers (amateurs and non).

I repeat what I think about it, so please, read below: I created these bots because I knew Paradox Live fandom didn’t have enough fun material. I really support technology development myself, so I really liked character.ai when it got released. I thought about creating bots just to spread the fun, just to let the others play with this new tool- which I deeply feel is NOT as harmful as ChatGPT for artists and creators, but simply a tool to have fun during boring times. I did NOT mean to harm any writer, nor their contents, as I deeply support and admire all the artists and their works, especially the new creators’ ones!! (I myself request something as I notice a new writer writing for fandoms I know)

As I said, I tried my best to prescribe perfect bots, without making any mistake or adding not-canon stuff. I literally checked all the original sites (and even drama tracks’ lines) to portray each character the best I could; for genderbend-versions I simply copied all the settings I made on the original bots and changed their pronouns.

I made these bots just for fun, in short, not wanting to harm or offend anyone!

I was thinking about deleting all them, or saving them privately. But I first want your opinions! Since I don’t want to mess up anything, let me know what you think about it! And even vote below, choose and tell me what you think, so I can do something about it.

What are your problems with GW and how they handle Warhammer 40k?

Okay, so....this is...gonna have to be a long series of posts. Because it's a LONG thing. Before we begin, several things to keep in mind!

I primarily engage with Warhammer 40k through reading Black Library content. I don't play the video games (my computer is too old to play most video games and my reflexes are, to quote the neurologist who examined me "...not good..." so any game that involves aiming and shooting is a no-go for me) and I don't play the tabletop, mostly because I still haven't painted any of my army. I buy the miniatures, but I don't...play. Er. Yeah. I mostly read the books, so everything I say is gonna be about the books.

PLEASE DON'T LET ANYTHING I SAY TURN YOU OFF OF READING WARHAMMER NOVELS/NOVELLAS/SHORT STORIES, ETC. Some of them are really good! And even if they aren't, they're entertaining! Please keep reading them, good stuff. BUT. You asked me about my opinions about GW and how they handle 40k.

Some of this is my opinion, and some of this is opinion I've picked up from other fans. I'm not the most well-read 40k fan, so some of this is stuff I've learned from other fans. I'll be sure to properly label it all so you know how much of this is my opinion, and how much of this is stuff I've picked up from others. I am not an authority by any measure, I've written a few fics and people seem to generally like them.

I will also preface this by saying I am a fanfic writer. I don't write official novels or short stories for 40k.

I will happily rant about them in a longer series of posts, and I'll be sure to tag you! But here's a brief thesis of the problems I've seen:

Everything Is Canon: Making canon a little muddled in my opinion. On the one hand, this is fun, because it means you get to pick and choose what you consider to be canon. Don't like this character interaction? Non-canon. Like this other one that's vaguely alluded to but never shown? Totally canon. But it does mean that characters are written wildly differently depending on the author, which leads to major inconsistencies in characters. This makes it somewhat difficult to do in-depth character writing for any audience who hasn't read the same carefully-curated library of content that you have (my apologies to any fans of Guy Haley or Graham McNeill who come looking for their versions of Mortarion and find The Buried Dagger's version instead) and makes the timeline an utter mess. It also means that you have to spend an inordinate amount of time to justify the actions another author came up with to fit your vision of the character. As a Mortarion writer, this one hits especially hard.

Too Grim, Too Dark: Hard to care about characters and setting if it's all a contest between writers to see who can come up with the darkest thing ever (my vote goes to the murderer turned into a lobotomized clown doll. What the fu--). Some writers can pull this off without losing audience engagement, some of them cannot.

Too Much Emphasis on Humans: At some point, GW let authors write a bunch of stories about humans as the main characters and total badasses and the end result has been the Imperium comes across as the good guys, in spite of the opening blurb of every book establishing that humans are not supposed to be the good guys.

Too Much Bolter Porn: I space out whenever there's a bunch of fighting scenes. Boring! I know it's a war story, but...yeah, I want more character interaction. Then again, I'm a fanfic writer, so that's exactly what you'd expect of me, hey?

Random characters who are introduced halfway through the book just so that they can be killed off because idk, war is hell: There's an old piece of writing advice that circulates on Tumblr saying that you shouldn't depict a war by concentrating on the huge amounts of destruction, but on the little things, on the single, unique lives lost in the conflict. Doing this a little is okay. Doing this more than once per book loses all effect. Not all GW writers do this, but some of them do, and the end result is that it's not even slightly emotionally effective when the random civilian you introduced, gave a brief backstory to, provided with a personality, and started describing going about their day suddenly explodes in a squall of gore. And a lot of them do this more than once per book. They'll spend pages and pages describing this no-name guy, what his noble family is like, what his relationship with his parents is, what his hopes and dreams are, what his habits and addictions are, who he slept with last night, his relationship with the crew, his attachment to the ship, all this, just so that he gets run over by a space marine who never knew he existed. This isn't "show don't tell," this is padding.

Okay, I think that covers most of my complaints. I will happily bitch about some of these in more detail in other posts. AND. I will also provide a list of my favorite stuff I've read from Black Library!

as someone not from the us, the biggest political impact ive seen there has come from celebrities, that's why i mentioned her

she said register to vote and then there were news reports of people registering to vote unlike ever before

i hate comparing her to him, but the same situation kinda happened with trump

the us is very centered on its celebrities for better or worse

it's almost a fandom country, doesn't matter who the citizens are stanning

okay anon, i know that what you see of politics in the u.s. is obviously not the whole picture bc you aren't here, and also lots of u.s. americans don't see the whole picture, so i'm gonna try to explain some issues i have with these points.

there is a difference between taylor encouraging people to register to vote, which is something everyone can do, and her saying we need gun control. this is because elected officials have to be the ones to implement gun control and she is not one of them. she has already encouraged people to vote, which is how we choose who is making the laws. at this point the most effective thing we can do is call them about legislation they propose.

you cannot compare a celebrity that has literally zero political aspirations with a guy who got elected to the highest office in the united states. there is a massive difference between a pop star and the president. i really hope you get that.

anyway in conclusion, please do not come into the inbox of someone living with the grief of over two decades of school shootings in a country that has done fuck all to prevent them to tell said person how their country is about celebrities and you think taylor swift should say something. please understand how wildly fucking insensitive these asks were. children were shot to death in their school. i don't really give a fuck what taylor has to say about guns.

Don't Lose Hope.

After watching our candidate, her team, and supporters put all their work, effort, time, money, and tears into the 2022 Elections, it feels like a dark shadow has been cast on our country again and there's nothing we can do about it.

I'm so sorry to the families who were victimized by the Marcoses. I'm so sorry to those who died trying to stop a ruthless and corrupt dictator, only for his son to wind up as President of our poor and starving country. I'm sorry to victims of the Marcos family, to those victims whose bodies were found and those whose bodies are lost in a place that their loved ones cannot find. I'm sorry to those who witnessed Martial Law and celebrated when Ferdinand Marcos was ousted, thinking their children won't have to suffer the way the Filipinos did in the 70s-80s. I'm sorry to those in lower socioeconomic status families who voted for Leni with hopes that she would be able to bring about change as our President. I'm sorry to everyone who hoped for a better future, only for evil to prevail.

Our hearts ache. Today, I watched my 81 year old grandfather sit on his own in a depressed mood because he couldn't believe that after doing his part in history by joining the EDSA revolution and voting on May 9, he was watching history repeat itself. He is too old to worry...but he worries because he cares the future of his family and country when he is gone.

But this is only the beginning. Before things will get better, they will get worse. But things can still get better. We cannot lose hope, because that's exactly what our corrupt government wants.

If you are lucky enough to be in class A and B, please do your part to help the less fortunate. We will suffer, but we will not suffer as gravely as those who live hand to mouth on a daily basis. It is easy to think that they might deserve it because they were the bulk of the voters who supported the Marcos family's return. But the truth is that their return has been carefully prepared for, for decades. Fake news, vote buying, poll manipulation, cronyism, corruption, political dynasties. The real evil lies in those with power and privilege who are educated enough to know better but choose not to do better. There is a reason why education is normally given the smallest budget, because these corrupt politicians benefit from the less fortunate's ignorance and miseducation.

The day will come when we are called to rally again and fight for our freedom. Until then, do not lose hope and do not forget to act as the miracle in other people's lives. The evilness of our government should not push us to tolerate and enable such behavior or worse, be as uncaring and without compassion as they are. Our country can be better if we continue to push ourselves to be better and demand our government to be better.

God bless you guys. To the non-Filipinos, please pray for our country or help spread the news about what is happening to us. We really need it.

I don't know how familiar y'all are with the game of werewolf, but I've got a story I wanna tell.

Its a socual deduction game with the basic concept that a small town, usually percieved as rural and pre industrialization, is being attacked by werewolves.

In my opinion, ya wanna have at least 8 people, and more people can make things interesting.

Everyone playing gets a role secretly, usually on a card of some sort. These roles separate into one of two factions: werewolf or villager. With 8 people, I think you usually have two werewolves, but the number of werewolves changes depending on how many people you've got. There are some special roles, but we'll get to them shortly.

So, game starts, everyone gets their role. Then comes the first night.

Everyone closes their eyes. Whoever is running the game says "werewolves, wake up." Anyone with the WW role opens their eyes and then silently they collectively select a single victim. The person running the game takes note.

"Werewolves, go back to sleep."

After the "night" is over, the game runner tells everyone in game who was found dead, killed by werewolves.

Then begins deliberations. No one except the werewolves and the game runner know who they are. All the players that haven't died yet debate on who they think the werewolves are.

And then they vote on who to lynch. If a majority cannot be reached or the players collectively decide not to, a day can end without a lynching.

The goal of the werewolves is to whittle down the number of villagers until the number of werewolves equals the number of villagers so that the werewolves can easily overpower them.

The goal of the villagers is to take out the werewolves before that happens.

Now, while there are a plethora of special roles, right now I'm only gonna mention 2.

The seer, who each night gets to wake up separately from the werewolves and silently indicates a player. The person running the game silently communicates whether that person is or is not a werewolf.

And

The doctor, who gets to wake up separately from other night active players and choose a person to visit. If the person was the werewolve's victim that night, then they do not die. If the doctor happens to choose a werewolf, then the doctor dies. If the doctor choses to heal someone other than themselves and the werewolves select the doctor to die, then the the doctor dies

The doctor can select to heal themselves.

Now, important note, you can claim whatever you like during debate and voting. But you can. Not. Show. Your card. In some games you reveal your role at death, in others it stays hidden.

The game we'll be talking about was my first ever game of werewolf and all the above roles were in play. You revealed your role upon death in this one. 9 players.

I was a villager. Being unfamiliar with the game that seemed boring to me, but oh well.

First night happens. Werewolves kill someone. First day.

People are going around hemming and hawing and throwing accusations as you do. And eventually the guy next to me speaks up and says "All right. I'm the seer. I checked (indicates other person at the table) last night and they're a werewolf. Doc, whoever you are, please heal me tonight so I don't die."

More conversation goes around, the person next to me who claimed to be the seer reiterates.

Now. I was a villager. My in game goal was to kill off the werewolves. Technically I shouldn't have done what I did next.

But god was it fun.

At this repetition of the seer claim and the reassertion of the one player being a werewolf, I speak up.

"All right, I kept quiet for the first time but uh. I am the seer. And I did check (same person he'd been accusing) last night. And they are a werewolf. So the only thing I can figure is that you are the other werewolf and you are outing your teammate so that you'll be safe as "seer" for the rest of the game."

Lots more discussion happens, and eventyally the majority vote to lynch the person next to me who had first claimed to be seer.

He 'dies'

He reveals his card

He's the seer.

Uproar.

The person running the game quickly calms things down and sends us all to sleep, as the lynching is the last action of the day cycle.

Night actions happen.

Morning comes. The werewolves have killed again and the doc did not manage to save them.

Time for discussion and voting

Everyone immediately rounds on me.

I am lynched.

I am a villager.

I am laughing my ass off.

Night comes.

Werewolves kill someone.

The ratio of Villagers to werewolves is now 1:1

Werewolves win.

The funniest part to me is that the seer left the village with a single 100% confirmed werewolf, but they all lynched me instead. I totally understand why, but its still funny.

Anyway, after the game ends the person running it addresses everyone.

"Good game folks. There is a role called the jester whose goal is to be lynched. In honor of the role being played so well, we will be adding it to the rest of the games today. But please. Play your roles.
