Zoro said that, but it's not like he really knew what that meant either. He's had casual sex, but romance and relationships was never ever a luxury afforded to him. Not on these cut throat seas, anyways. Getting that close to anybody was a liability, and other things were far more important to survival or for achieving his goals.

Luffy just tilted his head. "But you are special to me, all of you are. I wouldn't kiss some random guy! That would definitely be weird…"

You're definitely weird, Zoro nearly said, but just sighed instead.

"Okay fine, but don't go tellin' anybody else about this for now okay? Or else the rest of the crew might get the wrong idea."

Luffy just laughed. "Whatever Zoro says."

I constantly forget that Bildad the Shuhite is an actual person in the Bible, and it's really not good since my family is religious. The other day I made one of those 'this is only funny to me' jokes referencing Bildad the Shuhite (as seen in Good Omens), and my grandmother was very confused as to why I found this random guy from story of Job so funny.

I haven’t seen a lot of (GOOD!!!) Sonic story prompts or fics so here one, no love interest that has way to much focus, no self insert, and only one small head cannon that explains sonic’s personality (or at least this version of sonic)

Sonic Prime/Sonic series - fractured shards

Sonic may have forgotten to take his ADHD medication… for the 5th day in the row, and MAYBE because of that he messed up, brushing of his friends and changing at eggman when he should have been a bit more cautious, and as a result the paradox prism was shattered leaving Sonic drifting through the shatterverse until;

/Sonic wakes up at green hill, everything is slightly of, and weird citizens keep asking weird stuff like ‘how starfall went’ or something about a metal disease

/ Sonic wakes up at ‘green hill’ or at least that’s what the sign he found on the road says, the loop de loop is gone with a small town replacing it

/ Sonic wakes up at green hill but Everything is wrong, there’s way more robots, some look like if eggman made metal Sonic’s of random people, lucky some kind of kingdom was close by and let him in

/ Sonic wakes up at green hill but it looks as if eggman had run there one to many times, the never ending robots patrolling near by drove him into a forest (“please never let Knuckles find out about this”)

Disoriented and out of the loop Sonic asks what is going on before meeting the person who ends up answering his questions;

/ another Sonic who is way more experienced and less impulsive, he’s nice, funny, and cool but it feels like he’s been carrying the weight of the world around for to long, and it’s slowly showing

/ another Sonic who is young then him and more impulsive then him (somehow), he’s cheerful, energetic, and fun but it feels like he is afraid of being alone

/ another Sonic who is way more powerful then him, he’s kinda jerk-ish but caring and friendly, literally having an army of friends, but it feels like eggman is just as strong as this Sonic, in more ways then one

/ another Sonic who is just FEELS like Shadow and Knuckles combined, he’s rude, aggressive, and quips just as much at his friends as to robotnink, but it both feels like he cares for his friends as much as Prime cares about his…

And as if there’s something hidden BENEATH his tough guy act.

time to make that ramble post about my "greek heroes reincarnated as magical girls" idea. i was gonna make this neat and nicely typed out but fuuuuck that takes so many spoons

the basic set up of the story is that Athena tracks down the reincarnations of a couple of Greece's great heroes and slaps on them magical girl powers to take care of her foes for her. you know as you do.

the heroes in question (subject to change but this is what i got right now) are Odysseus, Achilles, Theseus, Perseus and Heracles (he's pulling a sixth range kinda deal. and is not actually reincarnated or anything cuz he's a god and shit. he's just pulling some shapeshifting to join in. as you do)

how much anyone remembers their original life varies. Odysseus remembers everything mostly because Athena shoved a whole time of memories in to his head. Achilles half remembers things. Theseus remembers enough to be mad that he's the team babey. Perseus remembers jack shit.

not totally sure WHO/WHAT the team is all fighting but it's probably people out to ruin Athena's shit which she can't have going on.

two of those people out to ruin Athena's shit is Ares and Artemis but we learn later on that they actually have a damn good reason for this but we don't have time to unpack all that.

the structure of this story is largely a mix of cool fights and slice of life funnies until the drama kicks in. as is normal.

and aaaa- yeah.
