so i think that he would be a 7? LIKE some spots he will be like “😊” (the smile is out of pity) and some he will be like 😂😂 (laughing his head off)

ITS PRETTY HARD TO GET HIM TO THAT POINT THO because his worst spots are his back and his thighs, which aren’t always so easily accessible?

but if someone happened to just,, trace a finger down his back while he’s doing something, he will jump and flail and produce the silliest noise you will ever hear in your life

he’s the type to be shy-embarrassed about his ticklishness. like he wouldn’t want to be known for it, but at the end of the day, he doesn’t mind it too much, yk?

he’s really strong so it’s difficult to pin him so it’s probably not even worth trying. it doesn’t matter though, because he’ll usually let you tickle him anyway. (at least if he can get you back)

when he gets you back, he has this wholesome smile on his face and you can’t help feeling embarrassed. he’s super gentle and does it to try and make you happy.

he’s done it to riddle though when he feels like the redhead hasn’t been smiling enough, yk?? like he loves cheer up tickles and while it mostly happens to riddle, he’s done it to others too.

ergggg tickles with this guy,, they were always a pretty big thing with him! growing up, his family always would tickle eachother (meaning ofc he was involved as well) and as of late, tickling between leona and him has been becoming more and more frequent (to leona’s disdain)

he’s definitely like an 8, leaning a bit towards a 9? idk he’s pretty ticklish.

his worst spots.. his sides AND his tail. most people learn he’s ticklish if they try to pet his tail, so he doesn’t let people, unless he really trusts them (such as yuu). only leona knows his sides r ticklish cuz he tickles ruggie if he wants him to stop bothering him. rook knows about his tail if you’ve seen that one scene 😊😊

he enjoys being tickled and can usually last for a while, but he doesn’t like when it’s so intense.

if ruggie had an s/o, i think he would be the type to like,, nibble on their neck to make them giggle yk??

not really anyone KNOWS about his sensitivity (apart from his fam) but leona and rook. leona found out one time cuz ruggie kept pestering him and he pushed him away in his side and was very shocked by the very loud squeal that ruggie let out.

i think that he’s not necessarily embarrassed about his sensitivity but also like, not for any real reason. he just doesn’t think about tickling all that much. like, it’s completely normal to him. so it’s not like he’s all for it but he’s just pretty neutral about it (if that makes sense)

that being said, that is regarding his OWN sensitivity. for others, while he doesn’t do it often, he looooves tickling others

to be honest, among the three, i kinda see him as the least ticklish. now that doesn’t mean hes NOT ticklish, i mean, its AZUL and FLOYD im talking abt?? so yeah, id say hes like.. a 6, leaning towards 7!

ofc, this required training(?) on jade’s part because he wanted to maintain his persona of being the calmer twin because floyd’s got the complete opposite laugh (cackly and loud)

STILL, it doesnt mean he never breaks! tbh, he doesnt necessarily hide his ticklishness, but as someone who would prefer to be the one in power, he doesn’t bring it up either. sometimes, when the ler finds a really good spot (his armpits or i imagine the area JUST below his ears, like just at the top of his neck is ridiculously sensitive), its a lot harder to keep himself from squawking lol

kinda circling back to my last headcanon, i think its super funny how jade could definitely manipulate YOU into thinking hes still the one in power while being wrecked to pieces hehe

like idk how he manages it, but he can make you think that hes just indulging and that he could get out anytime he wants. not that this isnt true, but he would definitely struggle more than he lets on. especially if its floyd or azul (or both) who happen to tickle him

like vil from my last post, i think he would be good at keeping himself still for the most part.

no one really gets near him, ESPECIALLY to tickle him except for floyd and azul (and yuu/reader(??) if youd like) so he doesnt get tickled often, especially when he tends to get to the upper hand with them from the get-go.

still, he doesn’t mind this dynamic. he prefers to be the ler than the lee.

on the other hand, as a ler, hes not so bad when hes teaming with someone (usually floyd) like most of the time, he will let the other tickle the person more while he holds onto their arms or something

but alone? ABSOLUTE menace. he knows just the right things to say to make you as flustered and right where he wants you. he knows just the spots he needs to touch to have you squealing. and the worst part of it, is that he will keep it stored in his brain for later use.

like going further with that, im saying if youve got a sensitive neck, he WILL be swiping his finger across his neck and then gaslight you and everyone else into thinking it had never happened in the first place. and if you lose ur sanity over it, thats just part of the fun in his eyes.

hes very attentive when it comes to ensuring the ler doesnt like, completely die. hes actually really good at telling when a ler is about to reach their limit and will stop when he realizes that. hes saved a few from floyd’s wrath because of this.

generally gentle tickles when he first begins, but he can change his style depending on which works better on the lee, compared to others, who often have a pretty distinct tickling style

Jamil

people tend to overlook this because kalim is like super ticklish, but jamil is actually very ticklish as well and he hates it. id say hes about a 7, actually.

tbh i think he would be the type to think of it as a weakness😞😞 like its not necessarily the sensation that he dislikes, but moreso the fact that it makes it much harder to fight back

he seems like he would have a ticklish back im not even gonna lie AND HEAR ME OUT. like his muscles just right below his armpits (blanking on the name rn) so he would never let anyone touch his muscles because it tickles

also think he would have a ticklish collarbone but people arent really aware of that so hes safe? (only for now ofc)

he would be the type to try to hide his face. like maybe stuffing his face into a pillow, into his shirt, etc. he is shy about people seeing his blushing face which is so cuteeee

i feel like kalim would try to tickle him all the time. “its what friends do!” “you look so glum.. let me cheer you up!” “i know a way to take a break from all this studying!” it offers a pretty good distraction tbh

i think yk when ppl lightly tickle ur arm and it tickles but not enough to make u laugh? i feel like jamil would secretly find it comforting

as a ler, he would be suuuuper teasy. im talking like “how embarrassing for you to be this ticklish, huh?” or even worse if the lee cant say “tickle” he will be like “cant even say the word? you must be more ticklish than i thought.”

i feel like he would be one of those ppl who is intimidating yet gentle at the same time. he doesnt want to hurt you obviously but he wants to make sure you feel everything that he is doing to u

like jade, hes pretty good at sensing when the ofher cant take it for much longer so he always stops before they reach that point

he usually tickles kalim, because he feels its too awkward to even try tickling someone else (unless they tickle him first, them its war)

im gonna be so fr. i lowkey see him as not ticklish, except for ONE SPOT. so ill say 1.

that one spot? his SPINE like running a finger down his spine will have him shiver, gasping, and giggljng. hes really ticklish there, but no one has tickled him there since his arrival to NRC so to everyone, he may as well be not ticklish at all.

one time, vil poked him on his back and when vil noticed his reaction, he thought he was busted. still, vil seemed to brush it off after rook started spilling out nonsense.

because of his lack of sensitivity, he doesnt hesitate to tickle others because he knows he doesnt have to worry about retaliation

in fact, he loves when they try and he just laughs at them and tickles them to pieces

that being said, sometimes he wishes he was ticklish because he really loves seeing people laugh and have fun and let their walls down and he kinda wants that too?? but he doesnt always feel like that, he just cant help being a bit envious at times

since hes literally a canon ler, i think its safe to say that he tickles people when he feels they arent smiling enough. whether its jusy because theyre spaced out, or are sad, or just dont happen to be smiling, the reasons matter not. he will get them.

going off of that, cheer up tickles are a big thing with him. especially with epel and sometimes with vil, though vil usually pushes him off after about a minute talking about how “childish” tickling is and all that. but he notices how it makws them feel more relaxed so he never takes either of them seriously

his tickling depends on the ler. he likes to experiment. he noticed that for people like jack and epel, rougher tickles work best. as for vil and ruggie, gentle tickling is better.

kinda (???) unintentionally teasy. of course, he knows what teasing is. but, he’s just a very blunt person (though not everyone understands he is because of the way he says things) but he will talk about how beautiful they look and fluster the other

of course, he knows how to tease and uses it sometimes when he wants to see the other all red and flushed when regular compliments dont work, but he tends to just be blunt because that yields the same results oftentimes

all in all, he loooooves tickling and tries to tickle people a lot (which to some, makes him come off as a weirdo, but that has never stopped him).

Ortho

so i might be wrong but im pretty sure hes actually canonically ticklish, which is think is so cute

and then if u think abt it, idia must have done that on purpose. anyways, i give him a 5. hes sensitive in some places and not in others. (thatd be a LOT of work for idia)

i think it would be like.. in the crevices of his body that get him. like just below his neck, especially

he doesnt really mind his sensitivity! in fact, he finds it pretty fun and he thinks of tickling as a bonding activity hehe

he got more ticklish once he owned like a soul/heart, idk how it works but it does

hes kinda gentle?? i mean as gentle as a robot could be. could u imagine how funny it would be if ortho started off as being too rough when tickling so he has like feathers on him at all times (in some kind of compartment) when he thinks he might be hurting the other.. however, he doesnt need to use them much because he has gotten a lot better

honestly. not that ticklish, like im gonna say a 4 and even thats pushing it.

not that i dont want him to be super ticklish, but i think that with old age comes him being less sensitive to tickles

Luffy loves you like an adventure. Everything is new and always fun to try with him, and no matter what happens, you don’t ever regret it, because you’re doing it with him.

He’s persistent in staying with you everywhere, he wants to do everything with you. He tends to invite you ( by pulling your hand ) to do crazy things with him and away from the others so you’re alone.

Kid loves you like a game, it’s unexpected, unpredictable of what will happen and it’s exciting and thrilling. For you both, one wrong move, and the other is gone for good, but perhaps, second chances/rematches are available.

He can be brash and a bit much, but Kid has high respect for anyone who actually makes it onto his crew and can actually tolerate him, you included.

He’s loud and wild but that only makes it part of the fun. With such a short fuse, as long as you play your cards right and pick your moments to bite back, it’s kind of fun knowing how dangerous it can be with a guy like Kid, and he also loves it equally, because your feistiness is attractive.

Being a bad bitch that doesn’t play by the rules is so incredibly attractive and Kid knows how to reward and punish so tread carefully. ;) however, he has his down moments and as annoying he can be, he does appreciate the effort you give if you try to comfort him. He’ll be harsh about it but eventually, he just wants you to be with him in the end.

Kid reminds you to rebel, take risks and enjoy the thrill of getting in dangerous situation every once in a while, breaking a few rules doesn’t hurt anybody. Most of the time.

Dracule Mihawk

Mihawk loves you like you’re an empress, only the finest and highest quality for you, nothing else can compare.

Mihawk will buy you the most expensive dress that suits you, with an equally expensive matching jewelry to go with. Not to mention the heels, and, tch, how could he forget the roses you require? Despicable.

As much as he loves to show you off, he despises the stares of awe and admiration you receive whenever you go out, so his possessiveness takes over and he has an arm around your waist at all times, successfully showing you’re taken and to back off if they don’t wish to be cut into oblivion.

He trains you to handle yourself, obviously, you should know at least some basic skills. He’s not too hard on you but does push you to keep going until you truly wish to stop. It’s only because he’s worried that one day, he won’t be there and won’t be able to protect you.

Mihawk reminds you that you are a queen/king, a strong person who shall hold your ground and never back down from fear and show your bravery.

Red Haired Shanks

Shanks loves you like you’re his future. It’s an unknown journey, but he’s there for the ride and whatever may happen, he’s there staying and won’t be going anywhere, unless it’s with you.

The red head is a goofball, he drinks, parties and messes around but he is an incredible captain and genuine to a fault. So when he expresses kindness, it is purely from his heart and not out of manners.

He is extremely playful and yet when down to business, he is calm, collected, and cool. He knows just what to say in tough situations and great comforting advice, so he’s the one to go to when you’re feeling down. And as laid back as he is, disrespect to those he loves is the one shit he won’t take.

He’ll hold you close and with his signature grin, compliment you and tell you how much he appreciates you and as soon as someone lays a finger on you, his hand is on the hilt of the sword and he waits three seconds for an explanation before he cuts them down. No one messes with his beloved.

Shanks reminds you of loyalty. To always protect and care for those close to you, and keep that built up trust and bond you created with them.

Charlotte Katakuri

Katakuri loves you like you’re glass, he’s careful, protective, cautious and treats you like you’re fragile, because he’s afraid of hurting you.

He’s larger than most, he’s aware of that, so he always takes the precautions to be aware of his surroundings, especially when you are around. He wants you safe and he will be devastated if he is the cause of your pain.

His large stature is a blessing to you though, because cuddling is so comfortable and comforting, it’s amazing. You can curl up and relax and just be at ease with him, because he’s so protective of you, even from his family members. He often keeps you away from Cracker and Perospero, in the slightest chance that they try to take you away from him.

He’ll be extremely heartbroken if Big Mom doesn’t approve of you, but his love for you is stronger, so he’ll keep it a secret if he has to but eventually, he’ll pray and wish for her blessing, asking the help of his siblings to convince her.

Katakuri reminds you of family, that even friends or crewmates are family and love you all the same.

Koby loves you like a typical high school crush. He’s all shy and blushy, and evidently embarrassed when the pretty one at school is talking to him, ( that’s you. ).

He’s like the wallflower type, who tries to blend in but somehow, he sticks out in a way that lures you to him, like he’s hit the jackpot.

He is incredibly sweet, and his shyness is so adorable. You can’t help but coo whenever you see his red cheeks and soft smile of care he offers.

Always helps you with everything, will take the blame whenever you get in trouble, takes the suffering and pain when guys try to mess with you, and no matter how tough things get, he’s holding a brave face for you.

Koby reminds you of kindness, treat everyone with care and kindness, and it goes a long way.

16th Division Commander Izo

Izo loves you like you’re a painting, he thinks you are true beauty, inside and out, you are a work of art, a true Mother Nature masterpiece born. One to be admired.

Haikyuu manager headcanons!!

Okay so these adorable teams all have the softest spot for their tiny little manager-chan, and here's how they all treat her.

[Ari's note: okay manager fics and headcanons are my absolute favourite and I love writing them]

*.` | Karasuno

They are extremely laid back with you, compared to some of the other teams. They give you your space, at the same time listen to you when you have something to say.

Respectful simps. Similar to how they act with Kiyoko (ugh yes queen-chan) they're in tears whenever you do things to motivate them, like cheer at their practice matches or give them good luck charms.

They still have the good luck charms you fastened on their bag before one of the matches.

Tanaka and Noya would literally worship the ground which you walked on. Like wow how did they get so lucky as to have three?? Cute managers?? On their team??

Yachi and you would probably subtly simp over Kiyoko with them too ngl.

Hinata and Kags would probably see you as an older sister, eventho you're their age because you're so caring and responsible.

Suga is literally your mom and Daichi is your dad. They make sure you're all healthy and you're doing well in school.

Asahi gives you hugs whenever you're sad or upset! Fite me but I think this gentle baby gives the best hugs ever >:( he's like your comfort senpai and you'd do the same for him, especially when he's feeling insecure or down.

Yams would probably be very shy around you, but he'll warm up in time.

Ahhh the best part. Tsukki! He'd find you annoying and simply not get why you're so Mcfreaking happy at first (shut up u salty beanpole, manager-chan is just a ray of sunshine, okay?) But he soon finds it endearing and slowly gets closer to you.

You walk home with Yams and Tsukki every day since your houses are close, and Tsukki walks you to your door to make sure you're safe!

Ennoshita, Kinoshita and Narita all see you as a little sister and often help you with your managerial duties.

The team cares and respects you so much, and are so thankful you've joined them!!

Meat buns at Ukai's are your hangout spot, and everytime you see them chilling you're so thankful to have such great friends.

Aaah we're at the team of one of my favourite characters!! I'll start with Oikawa (can't you tell I'm so biased omg)

Oikawa absolutely adores manager-chan because although she's tiny, she's very strict, and doesn't let his fangirls near the gym when he's practicing, which he appreciates.

"yn-chan, you're so good to me, can I take you out as a thank-you?" Cue Iwa-chan's ball which comes flying at Oikawa's head. "Stop flirting with the manager, shitty-kawa"

Iwa's very fond of you too, but he doesn't let it show too often. Sometimes he picks up your favourite coffee from the vending machine and claims that he bought it by "accident". (How believable<3)

Kunimi probably sends you weird tiktok videos and tags you in funny memes. Very wholesome 10/10.

Kyotani just?? Doesn't understand you?? Like wow, she's small but the team listens to her?? Why?? He later finds out you're the manager. Mad dork here didn't know you were managing the team for the past month, and thought you just came to the gym to watch them practice. Smh.

Matsukawa and Hanamaki give you headpats and like taking selfies with you, much to Oikawa's dismay. He wants to be the only one taking pictures with you.

Like no manager-chan. Stop. Get away from them. My phone's right here I wanna take selfies with you :(

Kindaichi is cool with you. Y'all are bros and you game together sometimes.

Watari and Yahaba join too, and they're surprised to know that you're so aggressive when you game.

Cue a jealous Oikawa who struggles learning how to game just so he's invited to play with you. Simp smh.

They're all very gentle with you, and since you're their first female manager, they make sure to never make you feel uncomfortable.

You guys like grabbing ramen together and having eating contests. They really bring out your aggressive side but you love them for it.

Can I just say Semi bsf material? Yes? Yes. Semi Eita is best friend material.

Makes you cute little Spotify playlists and you help him write lyrics to songs occasionally. You play an instrument too and you guys can just jam out for hours on end together.

You get the idea of applying to be the manager because of him, and it all took off from there.

Goshiki loves you. You're fond of your kohāi, and you genuinely just give this touch-starved future ace a lot of hugs and cuddles, which he's SO grateful for.

Like wow, y/n-chan isn't just pretty?? She's also so sweet? And smart? And capable? Semi why have you been hiding her for so long??¿ >:(

Goshiki is just so protective of you, he'd commit murder if he had to.

You have to earn Ushiwaka's respect, yk? And slowly but surely he comes to realise how dependable and responsible you are, and treats you like an indispensable member of the team.

He's got your back. And if he ever senses you're upset, he's trying to cheer you up as best as he can.

"do not feel upset, those grades will mean nothing to you in the future. I doubt you will be able to remember what you got in your second year, third monthly test." You think he's being sweet, and yes he is (in a way), but he's also trying to be reasonable and logical.

Tendo loosens you up and you tend to play pranks on the others with him.

The funniest was when you tried to prank Ushijima by adding wasabi to his onigiri and he?? Didn't get it??

Like "y/n-chan, Tendo, why did you add wasabi to this onigiri? It would've been so much better with tuna mayo??" And he has no reaction whatsoever?¿?

Cue Goshiki who tries the onigiri because he wants to prove he has spice tolerance like Ushijima, eventhough you can low-key see him tearing up.

Shirabu is your voice of reason and you and him often study together. You also have deep and philosophical conversations at 12 a.m. over text, and it is just so wholesome.

He respects you so much, not just because you care for him, but because he finds your brain so fricking smexy.

These eagle babies bring out the best in you and you're always eager to push them forward and bring out the best in them.

*.` | Fukurodani

First thing's first, besides Akaashi, you are the only other person who can cheer up an emo-mood Bokuto.

Just say "Hey Bo, you're gonna look so much cooler when you spike the ball like the true ace that you are" and his hair's all perking up and his eyes are shining.

Akaashi thinks you are an angel sent from heaven.

You're very soft on your baby owls, and they genuinely just love getting positive affirmations from you.

Akaashi always blushes when you compliment him on his sets. And you can hear him murmur genuine words of gratitude.

The other members do too. They're glad because sometimes people focus on Bo too much and forget to give them recognition, yk? It's easy to get overlooked :(

But thanks to manager-chan who's so attentive with all of them, and who's aware of all their quirks and moods, they're all so touched and so so happy.

You have a habit of getting cold pretty often, especially since practice finishes late and it's pretty chilly by then.

Konoha always lends you his jacket and walks you home, since your home's are the closest. There's just something about you that makes you soft.

You get along really well with Kaori and Yukie, and you'd definitely consider them your best friends, considering y'all are in this thang togetherrrr!!

The Fukurodani team are just all a bunch of crackheads, but they're your crackheads and you wouldn't trade them for the world.

You're a very tight-knit family, (like ugh I just get lots of comfortable, safe vibes from Fukurodani :(( <3)

You guys hang out at the store near your school pretty often to recharge after grueling days of practice together.

My second favourite team, Nekoma!! They are precious, gentle, soft babies and I love them to bits and pieces >:(

I'll start with Kuroo. You've always had a tiny soft spot for Kuroo ever since you've become his lab partner in chemistry class.

His notes are immaculate. I mean, cmon we're all hoes for pretty notes

You think he's so incredibly smart and talented, so when he suggests you become the Nekoma manager, you just agree right away.

You guys grow closer since you've started spending more time with him, and you banter around more often than not with chemistry pickup lines.

"hey kitten, let's form a covalent bond"

He's so whipped after you retort back. Like wow she called me sodium fine and said I'm like an exothermic reaction? Permission to simp??

(Ari stfu this isn't a Kuroo fanfic)

Kenma and you definitely play animal crossing together, and he even lets you try his switch, after you guys grow closer.

Kuroo is so insulted, he's never even touched Kenma's switch before >:(

You also push Kenma to do better during practice and he starts to care more about volleyball, since you seem so enthusiastic about it.

Yamamoto isn't even subtle about his simping smh T-T unlike Kuroo, he shamelessly flirts with you, and can't wait to show you off to Tanaka and Noya at the next camp.

Since deep down inside, you're a huge baby, you, Lev, Shibayama, and Inuoka get along so well. They're just happy energetic kittens, and they make you feel so happy.

Although Fukunaga is shy to tell jokes, he tells them to you, because he knows you'd never judge him, and you actually kinda enjoy laughing along :) he's so touched.

a/n: i’ve been feeling very soft and even though i don’t even really like kids lol, this prompt make me so warm and happy :’) keep in mind that I’m not super far into haikyuu, so i don’t know a lot about the timeskip- sorry !! also a bit messy and unorganized.

so without further ado, here are some soft scenarios and headcanons for each :D

bokuto !

Pleaseeee, we all know he’d be such a good dad!!

You’re tired? Don’t worry, he can watch them while you rest!

Can and WILL play with them for hours.

And of course, he has the energy to keep them preoccupied. This man has more energy than I ever will on 2 cups of coffee with 3 shots of espresso in each.

Mans probably would want a bigger family, but of course as long as you were fine with it.

Thinking maybe 3+. He just wants to have that big family to share with you :’) aww

When you’re pregnant, he’s all over you. Protective to the point of it being a little overwhelming, but he means well.

Pokes your belly a little. Not harshly, but in a loving, gentle way.

“That’s my baby. Right in there.”

Probably cries a little when your baby bump shows.

More so during your first pregnancy, but he still holds that same emotion with the others.

He does NOT know what to do the first time.

“THEY’RE CRYING, Y/N WHAT DO WE DO??”

When the kid/s start getting older, oh lord. He’s such a sucker for them.

Probably gives them ice cream or sneaks candy when you aren’t in the room, even though IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR BED.

I’m sorry, but he cannot and will not be able to help with homework. I’m sorry but it’s true.

If your kid/s have a passion, he’s 100% for it.

Dance? He’ll go to all of the recitals he can make. Volleyball? Even better. Writing? He’ll sit in front of them and have them read it out to him like it’s a bedtime story.

I don’t think he’d be a good cook, so whenever he takes over for dinner, everyone is like “Oh no. Dad’s cooking again.”

Overall, 100/10 dad. Supportive, and does his best. Good boyo <3

He was kind of just a natural father, so it’s expected.

I think that he originally wanted to bring up the topic of kids to you at some point, but he was hesitant since he didn’t know if you were ready.

So of course, you beat him to the conversation.

Being a teacher, he’s surrounded by kids all the time.

• Then you saw a slightly tall boy, pink hair, feminine look, with a school uniform

• “The hell?!..” You realized who it was, you walked slowly towards the boy to get a closer look

• “M...Mitsuba?!” You said in relief and jumped on top of him, so happy to see him

• “Hey!! I get it I’m a cute little ghost but that doesn’t give you permission to touch me, you pervert!”

• “It really is you! Dear god, aren’t you dead?!!” Not caring about what he said, you looked at him in the eyes with tears of happiness streaming down your cheeks

• “I am dead, idiot. Can you get off me now? You’re going to make my clothes wet.” He exclaimed, rudely

• You nodded as you wiped off your tears

• After everything got settled and explained, you thought it was nice to have your best friend back

• You loved him a lot, he was so dear to your heart

• You met him in the usual place, the rooftop after school

• Both just chatted and chilling iykyk

When you suddenly go "Hey.. Uhm... Mitsuba? I was meaning to tell you something."

"What is it now, (Y/N)?"

"I don't know how to put it but... I like you, like a lot."

y/n: sure! let’s go out at 5!! the new neighbours just moved in today and my mom is making me welcome them... yk how it is ;)

sunghoon looked down at this phone with a wide grin on his face. he was planning on asking you out tonight.

“wow i’m so lucky to have her” he thought, laying down on his bed. you’ve been best friends for almost 12 years, but sunghoon could never completely get rid of the feelings he’s had for you. to him, you made him feel whole, you were his other half, and he wasn’t quite sure if you felt the same way.

sunghoon looked at this phone again, scrolling through his camera roll that full of photos of you two.

he stopped for second, for the past couple of months sunghoon had been contemplating whether or not he was going to finally confess his feelings to you, and he finally decided that today was the day

he didn’t want to ruin your friendship, but he couldn’t stand being apart from you.

he wanted to be able to call you his own.

“oh shit” it was 5:30.

As someone who LOVES fluff, this was such a cute story to read. Watching their relationship develop over time was literally so wholesome! I- LITERALLY THE WAY YOU WRITE YOUR STORIES ARE SO SPECIAL THAT I ALWAYS GET SO ATTACHED TO ALL THE CHARACTERS. omg i have a lot to say about insurrection (it’s about time) only because like half of the stuff that happened in that story happened in my school LOL. the bomb threat, the student su*cides were all stuff that happened irl. not to mention a couple of our students threatening to bring weapons to school to gun everyone down 😀 (they said, and i QUOTE “it was gonna be bigger than columbine”). yes, my school is messed up. welton is loosely inspired by it (: yes the story is a sad one, i agree 😔😔 I REALLY TRY TO MAKE MY CHARACTERS LIKABLE 😭😭 it took me a while to develop oc from insurrection though. i needed someone who was altruistic, intelligent and insightful but also blinded by her strong beliefs (which she paid the price for in the end). i wanted to write a story like insurrection for more than four years now. i remember one of my first planned drafts of it actually did end with the male mc ratting out the female oc and her group LMAO. but i held onto the school revolt idea for four years because 1) it’s kinda controversial 2) i didn’t have the writing skills then to flesh out the idea 3) i wasn’t accustomed to writing “darker” stories. but i mean, now that angst is my thing, i totally snatched up this opportunity 🥰 but you’re absolutely right! i tried very hard to make insurrection sound “lighter” and “happier” using yn’s character!!

AHAHA AND I AGREE WITH YOU. IT’S CAR-AMEL. I FIGURED WRITING THE HOURS IN MILITARY TIME WOULD GIVE TAGNA THE MORE “DYSTOPIAN/MILITARY SOCIETY” TWIST TO IT. omg i was SO worried that people would find out that everland was death too early on in the story but to see that you had no idea until yoongi made the big reveal MAKES ME SO RELIEVEDFJDSLFJL. and yes. i think i’m literally obsessed with bittersweet endings. i love having that sad, angsty element to the end of the story. i don’t know why LMAO. but i also like interweaving a bit of hope. because what’s sadness without happiness yk? i need bOTH to get the perfect ending 😭 AHH I’M SORRY THAT YOU PREFER HAPPY ENDINGS AND ALL I EVER DO IS WRITE ANGSTY STUFF 😭😭 I PROMISE I HAVE A CRACK/FLUFF FIC COMING UP SOON!!

hello! i’m heather (19, she/her, cst) and i’m going to be playing both yang “seven” siwoo and choi “na yubin” chanwook. i will get an intro posted for yubin soon (sometime tomorrow), but in the meantime... allow me to introduce you to the tragedy that is vain glory’s tower canon. his profile page is here, but i don’t have a plots page for him, so i’ve just included some ideas at the end of this post. if you want to plot, then go ahead & like this and i’ll hit you up asap.

( tw for physical abuse, murder & drug overdose. his whole history is filled with it, so go ahead and skip alllllll the way to the bottom if the plot ideas are what you’re looking for! )

siwoo was an accident conceived by two people who were more fuck-buddies than they were an actual couple. his mother was very in love with his dad, but had never told him this; and when she became pregnant with his child, he ghosted. he promised that he’d get back in touch after he had some time to think, but 9 months passed and suddenly she was giving birth and he was who knows where.

she had no money, and the man she would come to meet had no money. siwoo was raised in the slums of gangnam.

she met another man shortly after siwoo was born, and siwoo grew up thinking this other man was truly his father; no one ever told him different.

this man was insanely abusive both to siwoo and his mother. even as a baby, he hurt siwoo; if he cried too loud, he’d burn him with cigarettes. he has a lot of little scars from this all over, especially on his chest, stomach and back.

the abuse only got worse as he got older. new bruises and injuries were added on before the old ones could completely heal, and siwoo thought he hid it well, but he really didn’t. everyone pitied the powerless boy, but no one did shit to save him.

anyway he started taking taekwondo classes when he was pretty young, and he had a natural talent for it because of his own pent-up rage from being abused & also because of his determination to be good at something, yk? and he really enjoyed it.

he continued on with taekwondo for years, which also made him strong enough to actually stand up to his father and fight back. still got his ass beat more often than not, but??? tried to hold his own, and that’s gotta count for something.

i didn’t specify in his bg, but he was between 13/15 when his little brother was born and at this point, his parents (both hardcore druggies by now) had stopped paying the bills and quite frankly, siwoo’s prize cash wasn’t enough to make ends meet. so, he did the only thing he could think to do -- he started stealing placebo pills from local pharmacies and would replace his parents’ drugs w fake shit. and then he’d sell stuff to classmates and people on the streets.

started drawing police attention and basically ruined his life without even knowing he was ruining it Yet. got caught Once by his stepdad and got beat within an inch of his life (literally) and still has insane nightmares about it but doesn’t talk about it. also didn’t stop selling their shit LMAO.

he was 17. preparing for college entrance exams. feeling pretty good about his life & his opportunities, thinking about how to take his mom and little brother with him when he left. how to save them. and then he came home from studying one night and found his father dead on the floor with a stab wound in his gut and his mother dead not far from him with a needle jammed in her arm. fun fun fun.

threw away all of his plans for the sake of raising his little brother and trying like HELL to make things better for him. he didn’t even finish his education, despite having less than a year left, and cut off all contact w/ national taekwondo team representatives (i forgot to mention this earlier but here it is...... he was in talks to be recruited into the team. would’ve been super cool. but he had to give it up).

worked lots of odd jobs. mainly did mechanic work, but also did some electricity/wiring stuff, would paint fences/houses/whatever, would train people in taekwondo and also still sold drugs on the side when he could get his hands on some.

word started spreading underground that he was Really good at taekwondo & people thought he’d make a great fighter. and they also knew that he desperately needed money. so, somehow or another, passive drug-dealing turned into cage fights and he hated it. hated hurting people like that, like his father had hurt him, hated seeing their blood and his blood and hated waking up sore but he sure did love the lump-sums of money. plus, it’s not as easy to get out as it is to get in, so....... suddenly he was a fighter?

it’s 2020. his lil brother is somewhere between 13 and 11 (again...... i never specified..... idk man) & he would do!!! literally anything!!! to keep him safe and happy. his brother is pretty much.... his only motivation to stay alive anymore.

siwoo’s super melancholic. he always seems to be sad about something. he’s pretty nice, when he can be, but he knows that he needs to seem tough if he doesn’t want people to fuck with him, so he tries??? to seem tough????

always smells like cigarette smoke nd..... regret.

if your character only knows him through his fighting, it’s VERY likely that they don’t know his real name and only refer to him as seven!!! he tries really hard to keep his real name secret.

wears a heart-shaped locket that his mother always wore before she died. holds a pic of his mom & his birth dad as teenagers, but he could never get it open so he hasn’t seen it. holds the locket really dear to his heart and will fight anyone who says shit about it.

ex gf who got him through a lot of tough shit and his lil bro lowkey feels super safe around her, so she still hangs around from time to time...... no feelings left, but they’re still present in each other’s lives. (female lock)
