something that i wish was talked about more in system communities is how hard it is to have alters that feel distinctly different from others in ways that are hard to conceptualize.
i see a lot of systems where their headmates come out with a name, age, gender, the whole works. for us, most of our newer parts never have a name, age, gender. at least not without intense thinking about it, and even then gatekeeper will usually pull us from front if we think about it too much.
take me, for example. our therapist notes me as CAV and i’ve called myself productive!cav a lot, but i dont have a name thats my own. finding a name thats mine is hard. its tiring. i had to talk to our girlfriend to find out that im possibly aromantic and use they/them pronouns. i cant do that sort of searching on my own, and finding a name is an entirely personal experience that i can’t get outside opinion for. at least not in a way that will point me in a direction that feels right.
so, this is for all the systems who struggle to personally identify all their headmates and for all the headmates that know theyre different but struggle to verbalize it. i see you. you arent alone.

I think a huge thing some people are missing about the "God is plural" topic is the larger implications.
It's not just "God is plural, and that's cool."
"God is plural" is a starting place.
The real importance, I believe, lies in Genesis 1:26.
And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"
Man was made in the likeness of God. And this verse is generally considered to be referencing Man's spiritual or mental attributes. Most agree that we don't literally look like God.
And this very verse uses plural pronouns to refer to God. The Hebrew word for God used here is Elohim, which is also a plural word.
While God being plural would be cool in itself, I feel the bigger and more important point is that if God is plural, and mankind is made in the likeness of God, then it adds further credence for Natural Multiplicity from a Trinitarian perspective.

I believed this happened a couple of years ago? But I'd thought it was a very peculiar experience for me to share.
So, I used to be in this traumagenic server with what seems like a lot of blacklists and claims to be POC friendly. It was one of our few DID/OSDD focused discord servers that we joined when we first suspected we have DID. (We got diagnosed a year later.)
I remembered being in a ticket with one of the mods because they looked at the names of our alters through pk. They then LITERALLY did some google research on the name origins and made it something like this.
" Hi! We noticed your names may be considered cultural appropriating blablabla
Casey = Irish
Ari = Jewish
Please consider changing your names!"
And then had the nerve to even ask me what my race is, but I felt so uncomfortable?? I said Asian. They want me to specify further. I said Southeast Asian. And if my memory serves me right, they wanted me to specify more than that.
When I looked at that message where I had to change my own and my alter's names, I felt like they were JOKING?? HOW IS CASEY A CLOSED NAME??? It's.. a generic name used by pretty much everyone in the world.
They mentioned how Irish is a closed culture, and I think they mentioned Irish discrimination during the US immigration and all. I understand, but at the same time, Irish itself isn't a closed culture at all?? Not to mention, I've been using Casey as my name for quite some time now.
Ari being linked to Jewish makes no sense to me either. People sometimes use it to shorten the name 'Ariana' for short, but I also see many non-Jewish people also using that name too.
Ari is an alternative spelling of our body's name, so we don't feel weird using our irl body's name (which is Arabic) to the people online. It's not a sense of shame of the body's name but more privacy concerns, easier pronounciation, and having our own individuality.
It's worth mentioning that a lot of Muslim and Christian names are derived from Judaism, too. The Muslim and Christian names just have a different spelling to it, so I don't know what the hell they were thinking.
I felt so mad and felt this was all too ridiculous. I had to keep my cool and leave because what kinda server is this??? That claims to be POC safe?? I'm sorry if I don't sound the most open-minded, but it's just a weird experience to me, really. When I think of cultural appropriating, I would think of taking a name from, let's say, a Romani name or a Tamil name, and then use it without realizing the significance of that culture just because it looks pretty for some aesthetic. Not whatever tf this server was pulling.
As an Irish system, what the fuck?? Casey is definitely not a "closed culture Irish name," LMAO?? You're not overreacting DW anon, that's just wild.

We don't see much about identities relating to objects, concepts or plants in the alterhuman community and we'd absolutely love to see more. This is a call for all objects, plants, concepts and those with identities related to them that are so underrepresented in our community to speak about their experiences.
"Who will read my essay?" we will, and people after us will as well. Your experiences are valued by the community and you have just as much of a right to speak up as anyone of any other alterhuman identity.
I'd absolutely love to have people reblog this or comment and add their experiences, and better yet also make their own posts to be more widely shared with the community.

How To Add Emotes To Simply Plural
How I got the emotes on sp
Firstly ill explain how i put got them onto sp ^^ Theres really 3 things you need to think of when putting your own emotes on sp, however, if you dont want to do all this, I will provide the list of emotes ive used! As shown above.
1. Getting the emotes.
2. Sizing them down.
3. Image hosts.
I simply got my emotes off here, tumblr, I no longer remember which blogs i got them from, but theres many you can find and download.
After that i used ibis paint on a small canvas, i shrunk them down to fit, and used the sharpen tool to make them clearer when needed.
Then i took them over to a image host, i reccomend catbox, as itll give you plain links, to allow the links to work, you can format into . Itll now show the emote next to any text.
Now this part goes for if your using the list below or making your own.
I highly reccomend downloading a copy and paste keyboard app!! I personally use autopaste keyboard, this is on android !! It allows you to paste the emotes wayyyy faster ! If requested i canand will do a tutorial on how to use and organise the app

are we the only ones EXTREMELY confused by “Endogenic Alters”???
Like- correct us if we’re wrong, but that’s doesn’t feel very….
Basically it's supposedly just an alter that didn't form from trauma which-
A lot of us just formed from extreme stress (as we are prone to overstressing), that doesn't make them "endogenic" it just literally means they chill here knowing they didn't form from some abuse or something but from stress.
Which is completely valid!!!

So we may have screwed up...
We're a system, right? And since we're slightly obsessed with the worldport, we were thinking abt worldport-crew-as-a-did-system fic outline a few days ago.
We've also had csherb fictives since forever. Yesterday, icarus was fronting and thinking something along the lines of "it'd be funny if we ended up with the whole worldport crew". The thing is, icarus couldn't access the rest of the system. And they fronted for the entire day - unusual, for us.
I woke up today in the front. I cannot access the rest of the system.
