Fox got his anger issues from his father.

Wretched man, he was. Left him and his brothers during the years they needed him most.

Fox never wanted to be like him.

He was a cruel man; unkind even to his sons before he left.

Fox despised him; resented the fact that the man chose to walk out on his brothers rather than stay with them through the hardships of life; hated him with every fiber of his being.

He was the youngest so it’s not like he knew Jango all that well, not like his older brothers but it doesn’t take the rage away from him.

Ponds, the oldest, won’t say it but Fox knows his Ori’vod understands why Jango did it. He won’t agree to it but he understands it. It’s why he never has the same rage as Fox.

Cody feels indifferent. He told Fox once that to let his anger fester in him is to let Jango win. Fox can see his point but it doesn’t ease the hurt that lies underneath the anger.

Wolffe is similar to him. He doesn’t like Jango either however he doesn’t hate as much as Fox does. He says he does but Fox can tell that there’s none of that rage that boils and simmers under his skin like it does under Fox. Wolffe can forget about what Jango did and be fine; if Fox did that, his anger just comes back twicefold.

Bly is the most compassionate. He’s forgiven Jango despite the fact that all of them know Jango would never return and apologize for it.

Fox wishes he was like Bly; wishes he can give out forgiveness as easily as his Vod can but it’s hard.

Almost impossible.

He’s tried but he can’t.

He can’t.

Fox has never been the forgiving type. Cody says it would be the death of him one day.

Maybe it would.

But he can’t not stop the hate.

The anger.

The hurt.

It’s all he’s ever remembers from the man.

What else can he put in Jango’s place if not resentment?

Fox got his anger issues from his father.

And he’s terrified that he’s becoming just like him.
