amateur set of aroma associations. aromatherapy is my little relaxing hobby, I am not a perfumer

Satoru Gojo woody-musky composition with light floral notes. The fragrance fits snugly to the skin

Suguru Geto oriental woody perfume. his hair and clothes smell of palo santo, he carries a trail of kitchen spices and petricore (Satoru calms down and says even "sobers up" from this fragrance, when you need to put your thoughts in order, Shoko calls him "honey wood")

Shoko Ieiri among the mixed smells of latex gloves, formalin and cigarettes, her fragrance consists of one tuberose and sounds weak, almost imperceptible

Utahime Iori nothing came to mind but the scent of white lily and lemon peel

Yuki Tsukumo I think a refreshing playful composition of neroli and pepper with notes of grapefruit would suit her, while poorly hiding the smell of rubber and metal on her hands

Choso camphor and tea rose

Mei Mei fragrance of cashmere, black currant berries, ginger

Kento Nanami sun-warmed trees, oak and fresh aquatic notes on warm days, in cold weather he will be warmed combination of guryun balm, bergamot and pomegranate peel

Hiromi Higuruma restrained fragrance of clary sage, cardamom, lavender and cedar

I wanted to elaborate on the seamoon cures.

As mention in the last post i did on this. In the mc/yuus world has a story about the sea and moon's forbidden love. And in their world this story is very popular, and used in every movie,book, show, ect. It's mostly superstition, and only a few believe in the the story. Those who do see it like the zodiac signs. If a person was born during a day the sea was more active their associated with the sea or if the moon was full or eclipsing or anything there associated with the moon and so on.

Anyways, The yuu would like to believe that the moon and sea found a way to see each other and be with each other. The yuu is a helpless romantic, so to their surprise the person who they like so happens to reciprocate their feelings and agree to date. Until they have to go home, mc promises to find a way to visit them when they leave. Unfortunately nothing comes up the mirror can't make a portal back to twisted wonderland for some reason they can't. They tried using their worlds version of magic and rituals and nothing, nothing worked, their partner hasn't contacted them.

Their partner has been trying to contact them but the magic mirror isn't complying, until they figure out that twisted wonderland works under different natural rules and those who brake will be punished. Something yuu didn't know.

Before the yuu left their partner gifted them a magical gift(really anything a flower, gem, trinkets, ect), so the yuu makes the ultimate sacrifice. They use the gift their partner gave them to go to twisted wonderland, and they make it.

Only to wind up frozen in place where ever they found themselves in(the school or the dormitories,ect) when their partner finds out what happened they obviously wants to help them and free them, but are stopped or unable to break the spell. The reason why yuu was cursed the first time was because someone summoned them here, she forced the magic mirror to bring them back and the world's rules and punished for their crime. Who knows mabey someday the curse will lift.

Warnings: yandere!Rook. Toxic relationship isn't love, I don't support it. Mention of death. Fem!Yuu (can be read as fem! reader). Ooc and mistakes are possible. English and French aren't my mother language. I'm so sorry:(

The sun rises and sets, the days turn to nights. Winter turns to spring. A parade of stars always appears in the sky. As beautiful as mademoiselle Trikster's eyes. Even less beautiful. There is nothing more marvellous and perfect than belle dame.

Rook has seen many beautiful things in life. In art, he is as fastidious as the strictest critic. But Yuu's beauty... is maddening. Like an eclipse hid the sun, so her beauty overshadowed all other lights in the world. It was the kind of muse the hunter's ardent soul had always longed for.

A lunar face, with tiny, as if painted by a skilful artist's brush, freckles on her nose, plump lips frozen in an eternal warm smile. And her eyes: dark brown with a slight golden sheen. So lively, radiant as the sun. Rook liked her eyes most of all, the mirror of her soul.

Yuu is beautiful. Sa Blanche-Neige, la muse, le renne, la victime. Sa.

Spring will surely pass. The warm summer will also come to an end. The stars will fade. Nature is fickle. Every moment is fleeting, fleeting, like a mountain river.

In autumn, the sun disappears. Just as it fades in Belle Blanche-Neige's eyes. Hiding behind clouds, behind a light haze of worry, fear.

She began to avoid the chasseur d'amour. Ah, that embarrassment! Someday his sensual poetry will get right to her heart. And if not... Rook may use something else that will strike sweet Yuu's heart, an arrow fired by Cupid straight into the hunter's heart.

Yuu, unknowingly, has begun a game similar to the hunt that Rook is so fond of. She hides, he seeks. And never the other way round. The winner takes the trophy. Hunters rarely miss their victims. Especially when the prize is so coveted.

Rook relentlessly searches for it, humming each time: "Where are you? Where are you, ma belle joie?" And each time finding the poor thing wherever she is. Any hunter will not rest until there is a trophy hanging on the wall.

Every year, a cold winter returns. The cycle of seasons comes to an end, starting the cycle all over again. The sun disappears altogether, reappearing only on particularly rare occasions. Everything dies, but not everything is reborn.

Love does not live long. It is too fragile, a light touch shatters it. Instead, all that's left is a pang in your chest that won't go away. And Rook doesn't even try to get rid of it.

The darkness has darkened her eyes forever. Earlier the darkness had also shrouded his green, like new see grass, eyes. But the innocent princess was far more cruel than Rook could have imagined.

Yuu was gone. Quickly, imperceptibly. Like a fluffy thing, caught and gone with the wind. And the wind was Rook. And the fatal mistake he had made. But now her beauty always brightens his life. A bitter consolation for the loser.

Rook loved her lively eyes more than anything else. But there was no point in talking about them any more, for they were closed. Forever.

His Snow White sleeps breathlessly, but her dead beauty offers blissful peace. A kiss from Prince Charming won't help here. After all, Prince Charming Yuu is the main villain in this terrible tale.

i was writing a fic but given how im perpetually busy and id probably never get to finish it soon, i figured i should let you know of its premise since i think you might like it! maybe you can expand on it further. it's between vampire!rookvil x artist!yuu;

two enigmatic lords, lovers of the macabre and of each other, inhabit a grand and gothic castle, perched majestically upon rural mountain heights. renowned across the realms as the supreme artisans of their age, they've amassed grand opulence by crafting portraits for royalty and luminaries alike. in recent times, the two have developed an uncanny penchant for summoning artists to emulate their visage-- to produce the perfect portrait. their enticement? a pledge of riches that could rival even the coffers of kings beckons these creative souls forth to undertake the challenge. the neighboring villagers, beneficiaries of the lords' benevolence, luxuriate in lives of opulence, corroborating the extent of their wealth. it is no mere exaggeration; the lords' reward is as genuine as the earth beneath one's boot, and the blood coursing through one's veins.

but instead of accolades and rewards, the fate that inevitably befalls each and every artist is that of their likely demise. all have vanished without a trace, never to be seen once they've entered the gaping maw of the castles entrance. and the villagers zealously guard the secrets of their lords-- turning away investigators and detectives who hope to unravel the rich mystery of this place as much as each and every artist who's come before them, hoped to leave a rich man. neither would they bestow upon eager ears the secret of what befits the title of the 'perfect portrait' in their lord's eyes.

one fateful day, an eccentric artist catches the whisperings of these lords, swept away by a mystic longing that transcends continents. they embark on an odyssey to present their craft to these reclusive masters. but to their astonishment, the lords revealed themselves as two radiant young men, instead of the venerable signiors they have braced themself to meet.

(they also cannot escape the nagging thought that these two lords bear a resemblance all too striking to the figures that incessantly haunted their subconscience during their artistic creations.)

they cast aside the notion of longevity, despite their reputation's conception seemingly exceeding their own. it's rude to ask a nobles age, right? atleast, that's what the baker with the gold flaked buns said.

but it serves no surprise when revelation of their vampiric nature soon follows.

these lords, magnificent creators of art themselves, were once beguiled by an artist of sublime talent, whose skills matched but were eclipsed by their elusive nature. as mortal nobles, they had discovered in this enigmatic artist not just a painter, but a confidant, a soul whose essence was even more tempting than the most beautiful nymph or the most enchanting siren. once intertwined in a duet of affections, they soon expanded to a triad of passion and intimacy even sappho and oscar wilde would blush to the deepest scarlet at hearing of such deeply obsessive and devoted escapades.

the mysterious artist spent countless months capturing the beauty of the lords in all sorts of intimate positions with such frightening accuracy, a testament to their shared love. but then a vanishing act, as mysterious as the artist themselves, left the lords desolate, their hearts consumed by an unfathomable void. a frantic search spanning across the nation's expanse and several years yielded naught but bitter despair. despaired of their loss, they withdrew from their noble life and into the decrepit castle by the mountains.

time passed, its cruel erosion, fading memories of their beloved artist to wisps of recollection. the lords, who had ever been the subjects of inspiration, found their beloved artist irretrievably lost. brokenhearted, they delved into forbidden realms of dark magic, exchanging their mortality for the siren call of everlasting youth, all to perfect their craft, to immortalize their lost love once found-- they're utterly sure to find. what else could they do once they've let themselves love them? simply let them go? forget about them? what preposterous foolishness. they would much rather be stake to their coffins than finally lay rest to their hearts longing for their beloved.

amid countless letters, books, and poems, and renaissance and raroque canvases kissed by their immortal expertise, the lords enshrined their lost lover. each tragic stroke, each pained word, a testament to their eternal devotion, kept the embers of affection and memory aglow. the nobles, who had maintained their connections with the pair, repeatedly sought commissions from the lords. secluded within their castle to escape grief, there was little reason to decline. they acquiesced, and word of their unparalleled skill echoed across nations.

soon after, when their wealth surpassed even that of kingdoms, they issued a public proclamation summoning artists from every corner of the globe to step forth and craft their likenesses in exchange for unparalleled renown. in truth, this proclamation was but a ploy to beckon the quest for their vanished beloved into their midst. for none but their estranged beloved possessed the artistry to capture their visage in such precision and affectionate allure—a talent matched by none. with each artist's futile attempt, grief swiftly transformed into fiery indignation, and the lords promptly, and very gruesomely, dispatched those who dared claim mastery in capturing their likeness.

but future artists were soon spared of the same end when their ploy finally accomplished just that-- bringing their sweetheart to their doorstep.

then, as if fate finally withdrew the cruel cards it had dealt upon this grieving couple, this young artist, the reincarnation of their vanished beloved, showed up in town. the veil of purpose behind the portrait painting scheme fell away, revealing a singular quest to reunite with their long-lost love, now reborn in their presence.

within the labyrinthine castle, the artist stumbled upon an opulent trove of devotion upon exploring the nooks and crannys of the gothic abode, where words, colors, and passion converged, immortalizing the home owner's past in an exquisite tapestry.

sorry this is so wordy GAGDHS its meant to be a summary but i got too giggly kick-my-feet-tity and made it too lengthy. this was at the conception of the idea so i didn't have an ending, but ive made some changes, albeit only a few, since then.

vil and rook ask malleus, king of briar valley, to grant them eternal youth (essentially vampirism. don't question why they ask the fae to do this i guess he gets lilia to turn them lolsies), and he relents, in exchange for a favour. i haven't worked out what exactly this favour was but it's definitely got to do with finding their lover and the aftermath of.

there is a fountain in the middle of the village square which strongly resembles yuu.

there is a scene in which rook takes yuu out hunting/they stumble on him hunting in the woods out back and it's meant to symbolically mirror rook and vil's hunt for yuu. it's also just an opportunity for strong homoeroticism.

customarily, vil dolls yuu up and likely gets some flashbacks to past life!yuu.

this is heavily inspired by the;

"when will a husband and wife who are widely rumored to be vampires invite me up to their once-gorgeous mansion which has fallen into some disrepair and then serve a beautiful meal that they barely pick at, sipping from glasses of dry red wine instead as they take turns complimenting me borderline-salaciously while shooting each other conspiratorial looks that i don’t know how to interpret before one of them insists that it’s getting far too late for me to be going back home alone and now i simply must spend the night….."

"in case the implied ending wasn’t clear enough: and then i get railed."

so yea fortunately or unfortunately for the masses there will be a lot of homoeroticism and probably smut because im gay and i can't quite help that!!!!

i did not emphasize this enough but vil and rook are yanderes here. whether yuu is one too is undetermined but they are lost in the maddening spiel of retrieving their lost lover and by the power of homoeroticism they will not let go.

there is definitely a scene of intimate nude modeling but im not a pure horn dog so im including character development and themes of art and love djaghdw

'binary eclipse' was the fifth fic posted for 'dark star - an izch anthology.'

'binary eclipse' is a multichapter fic concerning a modern university AU where trans girl Izumi 'Deku' Midoriya is date raped at a party after already living a tough life to get as far as she is. Struggling with university life already, she spirals after her experience, only to meet 'Yuu Takeyama,' an odd-looking young woman who seems awfully familiar, spinning Izumi's world upside down.

So, it's funny really. Before BNHA, my special interests were generally superheroes (I was really into the MCU, I just wasn't into fandom in the formal sense before the pandemic) and horror films. If someone was at all familiar with my more 'traditional work,' I think this would be very obvious, truth be told. Horror themes appear sporadically in my work, mostly subdued as I try to write for a mostly teen-rated audience in a lot of it, and obviously, I love superheroes. You probably wouldn't think that I do, given how critical I am of superhuman society in BNHA in my work, but that's more just taking the themes to their logical conclusions.

'binary eclipse,' accordingly, was primarily inspired by a few horror-themed fics I read. I got to thinking about izch Little Red Riding Hood, actually, partly because one of the official Halloween costumes Ochako has been assigned in Hori's bonus sketches is as Little Red Riding Hood. Traditionally, Little Red Riding Hood can be interpreted as a rather heteronormative story concerning a predatory, broadly masculine wolf and a defenseless, often very young girl he preys on. Yet famously, in the original story, the Big Bad Wolf crossdresses to try and 'fool' Little Red Riding Hood, to varying degrees of success based on the particular retelling. This in turn got me thinking about gender roles, reinterpretations of themes, and the idea of 'fem!Deku' as a trope.

Now, conceptually, I have no problem with genderbending. I do think it's normally tacky to genderbend gay ships into straight ships. Fandom will crow on and on that 'M/F ships aren't inherently straight,' and that's true, but narrative framing is an important literary idea for a reason. However, I think genderbending a straight ship into a gay ship, as long as you take what that premise implies seriously, is an interesting writing exercise. Hence, 'sapphic izch' is my favorite version of the ship, and I think a lot about the thought experiment of 'what if BNHA was the same, except Deku was a girl?'

Of course, if it was as such, BNHA would've been cancelled after two volumes, and no one would ship izch no matter how bluntly obvious Hori made the romantic undertones, but I digress.

There were a variety of influences on 'binary eclipse.' One big one is an iconic horror film, 'Ginger Snaps,' a Canadian film from 2000. Another was SevenRenny (@sevenrenny) and their fic 'The Root of All the Poison,' which really stuck with me. Really, I'm not here to write a book about horror influences, there was a lot, 'cause I love horror films. Point was, I wanted to make Deku a girl, and I wanted to make her a werewolf. However, as easy as it would've been to make her a cis girl, I think making her trans was the more obvious choice; what are werewolves if not one of the classic pieces of trans iconography, after all?

I think this distinction is important when discussing genderbending. I think there's something fundamentally different and important between a character being trans and a character just now being 'a girl.' I think it's okay to just want to do that second thing, and not all fic has to be 'good representation.' That's fine! But how this topic is handled will greatly affect if a fic is good, at least to me, so I went into this one wanting it to write about the trans experience, especially as it pertains to my own life.

This fic is semi-autobiographical, albeit very blown out of proportion, of course. That's all I'll say about that.

For Ochako, making her a vampire was also an easy choice. It let me riff off of now-classic 'vampires vs. werewolves' iconography, it let me talk about the interesting subtext of Ochako and Toga as a relationship, and it let me make her 'magical' in a distinctly different way. Ochako/Toga is a ship that I used to really adore, and I still like them, but as the manga has progressed the fandom has become quite insufferable about how it postures about Ochako/Toga as another totem for migratory slash fandom to conveniently get female characters out of the way of their ships. I ship Deku/Bakugou, for the record! The fandom all around is merely aggravating, and as both the third act of the manga has descended into absolutely abysmal writing and the fandom has become acutely annoying, I now tend to avoid Ochako/Toga content, unfortunately.

That doesn't mean I don't enjoy writing them, though. It's one of those things where I only really like them if I'm writing them now. There's going to be sort of a gradient of portrayals of Ochako and Toga in 'dark star,' from the antagonistic, abusive relationships they have in 'bound' or 'binary eclipse,' to being friendly and supportive in 'dragon's breath,' to close, complicated friends in some planned upcoming fics, such as 'paths forward' or 'finite incantatem.' There's even one planned fic for 'dark star' that will involve the famous Deku/Ochako/Toga OT3, which will be set in one of the various planned fantasy AUs.

For 'binary eclipse' specifically, I was riffing off of a fairly direct transliteration of canon, except where Toga isn't 'saved.' It's meant to be tragic, where she is an abused person who has in turn embraced the abusive system that hurt her. A common theme in BNHA fandom is the notion that the villains are quasi-revolutionary, but really they just want to watch the world burn in canon. Toga in this fic is a very small-scale version of this, choosing to lash out because of how she was treated, while Ochako bears the brunt of that ire. It's not going to make the world a better place, but it's also sad and miserable, not uplifting, when she dies.

Her backstory is also a homage to 'Bloodborne,' the 2015 video game by FromSoftware, which was another influence on this fic.

There's a lot of complex themes in this fic, largely dealing with both Izumi and Ochako going through a rape recovery narrative together. For Izumi, her experience is raw and fresh, trying to grapple with being a trans girl and now experiencing what is unfortunately one of the more common 'girl' experiences: being date raped at a party. Meanwhile, Ochako is recovering from long-term partner abuse, walking away from her position as Himiko's 'pet' vampire underling, trying to grapple with what she was made to do while effectively in captivity. A lot of the queer themes intermingle with these fantastical elements, which I had fun with.

One sort of incidental element to this fic is that 'soulmates' are real, in the sort of blunt 'fanfic' manner. That is, two people are soulmates, they have specific soulmate 'markings,' etc. In this case, only 'special' people have them, people deemed important by 'Fate.' 'Fate' in the specific 'named character' sense will be a recurring element in these fics, also appearing in 'dragon's breath.' In the case of 'binary eclipse,' soulmates have been no promise of a happy ending, another queer theme in practice.

Bakugou is implicitly dating Kirishima in this fic. It's not made super clear, mostly because from Izumi's limited POV she is unsure what their relationship status is, she just knows the two are sexually engaged in some fashion. I imagined they are somewhere between 'dating' and 'friends with benefits,' although the specifics aren't important. What is important is that Bakugou's soulmate isn't Kirishima, it's Todoroki, a commentary on how certain characters revolve narratively around Deku, and how changes in Deku's narrative would send them all careening out of orbit.

(There's something to be said here, as an aside, about the prevalence of Bakugou/Todoroki in this series. I do sincerely ship Bakugou with both Deku and Todoroki. One of these fics will actually concern Bakugou/Deku/Ochako as a threesome, too, in fact! But Bakugou/Todoroki has progressively become my main ship for Bakugou, both because I like it a lot and because I think it narratively foils izch in really fucking fascinating ways. It makes writing fic about them a breeze. I used to like Bakugou/Kirishima a lot, and I'm ambivalent to them as a background ship now, but I have soured on the relationship largely because the fandom for that ship is... shall we say, intense. Many of them are not very kind to Deku or Ochako as characters, which is the quickest way to make me not like you in BNHA fandom.)

Meanwhile, Izumi and Ochako are soulmates, but Ochako was taken by Toga when Ochako was only fifteen. They were 'meant' to live out a fairy tale high school sweethearts romance, only for Izumi to come out to Ochako as trans later in life, putting them on track for something new. Izumi would have been afraid that Ochako wouldn't accept her, only for Ochako to embrace the change, always steadfastly supportive of her best friend.

Instead, Ochako was taken, Izumi collapsed into a deep depression and came out in high school, and everything is all wrong. Indeed, now it's Ochako who comes to Izumi afraid that Izumi won't accept how she's changed, only for Izumi to be thrilled to have her constant back. In the same vein, Izumi and Bakugou have something on the edge of a queerplatonic relationship in this fic; they're not merely 'friends,' but they aren't romantically inclined, either. They love each other, they're just not in love, and I thought this was beautiful, too.

'binary eclipse' is a very queer fic, or at least, that was my intent. I'm queer, personally, but I've come out as being queer relatively late in life. Some people think this makes my experience invalid, which is a shame. I try very hard to learn the ins and outs of queer culture as I go, and to write about it authentically. Sometimes I worry I don't portray things well, or as others might experience them. I only can speak for myself, of course. But I wanted 'binary eclipse' to be a very queer story, even if it's a bit of a shame that it means that relatively few people have read it.

Then again, it has absolutely terrifying tags, so that's understandable. It's also the first story in 'dark star' concerning transgender experiences, though it certainly won't be the last. There are (as of writing this post) two more fics regarding Deku as a trans girl, two regarding Deku as a trans boy, and one regarding Ochako as a trans girl. Each will approach these ideas in slightly different ways or contexts, but the broad points will rhyme, as you'd probably expect. There will also be at least one fic which concerns cis fem!Deku, though it'll be awhile before that comes back up. Sapphic izch remains my favorite version of the ship as long as it's written well, and I wish more people would write/draw for the concept.

Not to put too fine a point on it, a lot of fandom for izch trends younger and trends very cishet male. I feel like this shouldn't be a controversial statement to anyone who's even vaguely familiar with the fandom. Most of the relevant content is made by women, as with all fandom, but most of the constant crowing on Reddit and Twitter about how 'Deku is straight' comes from bland cishet men who contribute nothing and really don't even 'ship' izch, it's just a rhetorical tool for them. Personally, I mentioned earlier the notion that 'M/F ships aren't inherently straight.' That's true, but I think some people hold up sexuality head canons as a totem to avoid criticism, or to separate themselves from cishet men in fandom.

To be blunt, there's nothing wrong with just thinking that your ship involves two straight people. Fandom has become increasingly and exceedingly cringe about policing sexuality head canons, to its detriment. But if you don't think they're straight, then I think how they're framed is important. I generally have come to enjoy framing izch in broadly queer ways, trying to show versions of them that aren't merely 'a teenage boy and a teenage girl who are high school sweethearts.' There's nothing wrong with enjoying that - obviously, I do, since I fell in love with them - but I like to broaden my horizons, too.

So a lot of 'dark star' will contain heavy queer themes. Some will be set in 'the canon setting,' as it were, such as 'stardust,' 'at liberty,' or 'swallow the sun.' Others will be set in AUs, such as 'back contamination' or 'finite incantatem.' Not all of them will focus on transgender experiences; I would like to do at least a few involving cis fem!Deku, eventaully. I also took a crack at cis male!Ochako, but I feel that trope works much better in art than prose. I may eventually do something that is trans male Ochako, however. We shall see!

In this context, 'binary eclipse' served as an important test fic for me to see how I felt about writing dark queer themes, complicated morality dynamics, and horror elements for a story that I still broadly want to have 'a happy ending.' I'm pretty proud of it. I think the scene of Izumi transforming to fight the Nomu and Toga is one of the better action pieces I've ever written, even.

My overall thoughts are a little more muddled on 'binary eclipse,' not because I'm not proud of it, but rather merely because I just don't remember much of the concept phase of writing it. I wrote it very quickly, over the course of a few days, and most of that stuff has been lost to the ether. I'm happy to answer questions about it, though. It's a fic I wish was more popular, given its queer themes, but alas, what can you do?
