Barty glanced around the party looking at everyone.

Evan looked over to him and raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?" He asked.

Barty replied without looking over at his boyfriend. "People watching."

Evan hummed and moved closer to Barty to try and see who he was looking at.

Barty's gaze stopped on someone and his eyes wided.

"Who are you looking at?" Evan asked, eyes still scanning the crowd of people.

Barty silently positioned Evan so that he could see who Barty was looking at.

Evan's eyes went wide as well. "Since when does Pettigrew wear makeup?"

Barty shrugged helplessly.

"He's pretty."

Barty laughed and Evan scoffed.

"Please, don't act like you weren't thinking the same thing. I saw your face when you saw him." Evan exclaims.

"No, I agree love, you just voiced my thoughts that's why." Barty laughed again.

Evan hummed and leaned against Barty, still looking at Peter.

The subject of the two's interest was currently having a very animated conversation with Pandora. It was most likely gossip and drama considering how many times Pandora did their little hand thing that she did when he gasped or was shocked.

Peter used his hands a lot when he talked but Pandora didn't seem to mind as she used a bunch of hand gestures right back while talking. Peter had the biggest smile on his face and the most extreme reactions to what Pandora was saying.

"Bloody hell," Barty muttered and Evan nodded in agreement.

Cue the pinning from Barty and Evans side and Peter just laughing at it because they're ridiculous and in love with Peter. Also cue Barty and Evan both dying when Peter actually flirts back.

I think that those who question how you can hate Snape but love Barty and Evan pose a very interesting point, but I also think people need to understand that this whole fandom is built off of the collected characterisation of these characters, contributed by millions of people over decades.

Snape was inherently a little bitch, from his school days. We know this- it’s canon and the way he bullies students further solidifies his character. He ignored a crying baby to hug the corpse of the love of his life who he called a slur.

The people who like Barty and Evan can acknowledge the fact that they were death eaters, and they were terrorists etc. But since we don’t have much information on them, people have the ability to pose the questions

What if… they weren’t always like this?

What if Evan was Asexual and was rejected from his family as he would not provide heirs?

What if Barty felt like he was never good enough for his father?

The point is, WE DONT KNOW

Im never trying to excuse their canonical actions. But, in my opinion, Canon is utter shit and I’d like to believe that Regulus Black faked his death and spent the rest of his life hunting the horcruxes.

It’s the best thing about fandom like this- nearly everything is subjective

I realized that essentially all of my favorite book characters have autistic or ADHD traits. Taylor Hebert (Worm) and she's the same from the funfic "A Wand for Skitter", Murderbot ("The Murderbot Diaries" by Martha Wells; there is also a coincidence in my agenderness and grey/asexuality), Lenie Clarke and Ken Lubin (Peter Watts' rifter book series), Harry Potter and Hermione from HPMOR ("Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality" by Eliezer Yudkowsky), Miles Vorkosigan ("The Vorkosigan Saga" by Bujold), Ciaphas Cain and his loyal assistant Ferik Jurgen (Warhammer 40,000, Sandy Mitchell).

Overall, this is not surprising given my personal history of ADHD and autism. The funny thing is that I began to reflect on the topic of my own autism precisely after I read the Murderbot Diaries and came across a discussion of the character’s autistic traits. I was undermined from within by the thought, “What if all this bunch of coincidences are not just coincidences?”

Much was the same, but some things were not characteristic of autistic people, but at the same time, they were clearly not characteristic of the majority of people around me. I don’t remember the first time I heard about ADHD, but I immediately recognized some of my traits. When I read that ADHD and autism are often combined, I decided to take tests online first... and got high scores on both topics. Then, the doctor officially confirmed it for me. Bingo.

Stop writing marauders fics and making peter this outcast that they ignore and didn't love. His betrayal hurt for a reason. Remus truly believed Sirius did it. And Sirius didn't want Pete dead because he let him go to Azkaban. No, he wanted him dead because he did what they promised they never do and that's hurt each and he did that. And I know for a fact James would resent him because he didn't just put James and Sirius in danger, he put lily and harry in danger. But secretly he'd forgive him. He'd pray it was a trick and peter was tortured. Or he was being a spy for Dumbledore and had to say something. James loved peter. Remus loved peter. Sirius loved peter. PETER IS A MARAUDER WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. That doesn't mean you have to hate him. But stop making him this terrible, evil, scheming, person.

Remus: little bit overwhelmed, but happy to be there because it makes Sirius really happy, and he enjoys the stickers and glitter and all the prettiness of it. 7/10 on the proudness front

Sirius: absolutely in his element, I mean he's got the glitz and glam the charm the style, he's always showing people Remus, and helping the younger ones with their flags or glitter and he's basically just leading the whole thing, the life of the party 10/10 on the proudness front

James: pretty excited and happy, he'll be helping Sirius and enjoying himself, vibing to the music and the whole heartbeat of the place ... he might sneak off to a back alley and have a small gay hookup with a certain younger Black brother, but who knows? :) 8/10 on the proudness front
