Her manager just sighed. "Yn its gonna be okay. Just think this as your another shoot. I know you have anxiety but you're gonna be just fine trust me " He said with a small smile. Yn calmed down a little and said " But niki-" "NOTHING will happen. Be professional and think niki as just another person you're working with and you'll be fine". Yn wasn't convinced but still smiled a little " Thankyou ". " yeah yeah let's go now".

They reached the set when niki and his manager were standing. The moment yn saw niki she froze for a min. The manager say it and whispered "get it together yn". Yn came back to her senses and nodded. They both went forward and niki finally saw her. "Oh fuck she has gotten even prettier over these months". His manager nudged him and cleared his throat. Both the managers hugged each other leaving both the idols awkwardly. " Hello niki I am yn's manager and this is yn she will be mentoring with you in this show" said manager lee. Niki bowed and yn bowed back. " Hi, its nice to meet you" niki said with an awkward smile. "Same here" yn said trying to keep her cool. The managers shoot each knowing eyes and smiled nodding their head. Niki's manager cleared his throat and said "Its starting please pay attention they will call you on stage any second". The host of the show introduced the main judges and then the participants group by group. Then after finishing the last group he said " Its the time all of you had been waiting for. To mentor these participants we have two special guests who are the it dancers of 4th gen and are winning everyone's heart. Please welcome New jeans' Yn and enhypen's niki". Everyone cheered as both of them made their way to the stage. "Hello everyone this is niki from enhypen" Niki said bowing. "Hi everyone this is yn from new jeans" yn said bowing. The host clapped and said " For today you guys don't have to do anything, there's your seats you can sit there and judge the participants and let them know where they could improve or express how you felt about there performance". Both the idols thanked him and went to their assigned seats. Throughout the show they both focused on the performances sharing their views and giving advices to the participants.

After the show was over both we sitting together in the makeup room talking about certain things as they are no longer awkward with each other. "Wait how long have you been dancing tho ?" Niki said while sipping his americano. " Since I was 3 " yn said casually. "NO WAY ME TOO" Niki said putting his hand to do hi five. "WAIT FOR REAL ?" Yn said returning the hi five even though she obviously knew this information. "She's so cute trying to act like this is the first time she's hearing it" niki thought to himself smiling a little. Niki thought that maybe he should tell her that he knows yn is an engene. "Yn I wanted to tell you some-" "Lets go now" manager lee said cutting him off

and coming into the room. "We're leaving now ?" Yn said being a little sad. "Yes yn unfortunately because the show is over and you have a photoshoot right now" Manager said. "But niki was going to tell me something-" "I'll tell you later" niki said quickly. "Alright then" yn said. "bye bye niki see you next week" yn waved. Niki waved back "byeee yn !" with a smile.

Hello fellow human! (and Daniel simp lol). This is a very cool idea! (I want to go on the beach so bad yet I don't have free time because of school). Genre: fluff? (Kind of inspired and based on The Little Mermaid, just edgier) Note (quick fact!): Sirens are different from mermaids. Sirens are half birds with a face of a human (female mostly) to lure men/sailors and wreck their ships with the use of their voice and singing while mermaids usually keep their distance away from humanity, wanting to live peacefully (at least in most versions). Now I don't know what to call this "evil mermaid" creature that I made up on my mind and it's really tricky to write since sailors get killed by sirens when they are lured by the song so I kind of made it a mix of a siren and mermaid😭(pls bear with me lmao😀👍). Another note!: (D/n) stands for dog's name

He is a strong, sturdy, and focused sailor whose duty is to operate the ship and vessels and maintaining a safe work environment, him being admired by every women and envied by men. And everybody knows that he's not here to make friends or companions. And you're a living-sea creature whose business in life is to wreck ships with your strong-level of power and with the great advantage of your luring singing voice and your different level of speed in swimming. You don't know why you were acting like this. Is it because of that mentality when you believed that humans are disgusting creatures who take advantage of mother nature or you being hostile is just part of your natural instincts.

Well, he made your heart pounding though when he helped you carry out the anchor that has been stuck on your tail when you're minding your own business on your cave even though you're already hissing at him almost telling him to back off if you were able to speak the "human-way". It was very unusual for him to be generously kind to other people, let alone a sea-creature. So it's different (almost weird) for his co-sailors to see that side of him. Now you're the one who won't leave him alone when he's out to do his work, you swimming with your full speed to catch up to the big ship even when it's moving at a decent speed. Making him sigh and giving you a glare, almost not giving you attention because of you following him with that puppy-eyes even if you have the fiercest orbs ever.

*Sigh* it's weird for him, but he does find you cute (and threatening) in some ways.

He is well-respected by his fellow sailors when they're out riding his ship on the middle of the ocean, either fishing for food or him just wanting to explore the outside world of his lonely castle. Him admiring the sapphire-like color of the water as he often gets curious if mythical creatures like mermaids, even the predatory ones like sirens exist. But he never expected to meet a mixture of both.

Unexpectedly, a raging storm interrupted their ride as everybody recruited on their boats "D/N!" He knows it's one of his weakness. He's too caring for others even on the smallest things that can be "replaced" but he knows that the memories won't fade forever. So as risky as it sounds, he went back on the now sinking ship and giving the animal to his body guard before he was quickly swept by the harsh water waves, slowly drowning and loosing his breath. But a miracle happened.

He woke up on the seashore. Clothes wet and some parts ripped. Good thing that he is safe despite getting mild bruises. He was lost in his own thoughts when his assistant screamed for his name to get his attention and asking him if he's alright. Before that, he remembered when he was opening his eyes, he saw a striking face of a female with the familiar color of that specific scales and ear fins before it went away at that moment. He smiled as a warm blush covered his cheeks as he remembered that time when he was younger, he explained that he helped a mermaid-looking creature yet an attitude aggressive like a siren when it's injured yet his servants laughed at him. Now you're the one who rescued him when he needed help. It's unlike in your predatory nature but you've been curious about what he's being doing lately as he's curious about your well being. You often get excited when you see his ship, following the smell of the young man as you watch on the distance, wanting to know things about him. If you weren't so different of worlds, would you make it work out? If you only had legs...

He's literally the definition of a struggling yet determined and hard-working man. Not only he has to provide his daily necessities, but he also helps out his family too. Poor guy needs a rest. The dark circles that is ringing on his gloomy eyes have gotten deeper because of the lack of his sleep with the mixture of sea sickness that is starting to make his stomach grumble. He needs something to eat.

Stopping by the land, he went in the caves as he wanted to spend his free time before going on duty again as his stupid co-sailors wasted their time by chugging off the strong scent of alcohol that is stinging his sensitive sense of smell. Despite the place being a bit dark, good thing he brought his lantern with a box of matches for safety measures, a pocket knife, a small bag of biscuits and a jug of water. He sat down on a rock, sighing as he gets lost on his own thought thinking about his future especially for his loved ones who relies on him. He just wants to experience living of the life of luxury, eating everything he craves for and sleep every time he wants with his family, not wanting to leave them out. He wants to feel peacefulness even just for once in his life but he knows that he needs to focus on his work if he doesn't want to starve for a whole week, a month rather than smelling the stench of the fish that he catches every time he went out for fishing .

He was overthinking again before he noticed a movement on the small body of water that he is near to. "Eh- Who's there!?" He asked as he sticks up his lamp up to see if there are any near predators in the place. He could be in danger. He was surprised to see a tail move upward as the creature swam deeper in the water. He was about to get out when you suddenly grab his legs making him yelp. Your hand is slimy and soft yet the way you grab him was gentle. But he wouldn't risk getting drowned so he got up, ran away while wailing his hands up and screaming. You're just curious about the young man, he looks like a nice guy. Yet you scared him off. How do you properly approach humans anyways? (lol).

Well nobody knows if he really is a professional marine biologist or if he's just a smart amateur. But everybody knows that he's one hell of a smart fellow for their era. He's intelligent and logical, yet idealistic and curious about the things around him. He has worked on big projects like mechanicals in big marine transportations that has been successful over the years for his age. Now he wants to explore what lies beneath the ocean.

He got curious when he read about a book related to hybrids of marine animals and humans, basically the mer-folk. He usually doesn't believe in fairy tales (often thinking it's dumb at times in realistic situations). But in terms of creating writing and his curious thinking getting in the way again, he can't help but to consider the possibility that the fish-people even sirens may exist. The past few cases of sunk ships have been very interesting for him nowadays.

He and his crew decided to have a short trip on the seas for him to have a break while secretly working on his research and investigation. Every island and shores have been discovered and dug to find artifacts yet none of it are a provable evidence of its' existence. He was about to give up when a singing voice is heard from the distance. He knew it was dangerous based on the novels that he had checked out, yet the sailors with their stupidity followed the sound and decided to catch whatever is moving under the water. He thought he was going to die when you approached the ship, but instead his weirdness got the best of him again as he ordered the fishermen to release you. It may be the dumb decision to let you go, but it's for the best for your and everybody's safety. He got a valuable evidence of your blood on the fishing hook that was used though.

He is just a normal person, a person looking for thrills in his boring life. He causes chaos in his place, almost getting caught by the soldiers when he's doing dumb shit again. *Sigh* well, he thought he's not an ordinary person if he keeps risking his life for pranking other people though. But this behavior crosses the lines when he decided to sneak in the castle to see the beautiful ocean that he's been dreaming to visit. But for some unexplainable reasons the king decided to shut down the access of the place. Was it because of the irresponsibility of the people who dumps their trash and dirt into the ethereal place? Or was it because of the missing fishermen that has not yet found for almost a year now? Nobody knows the real reason if the higher ups won't open up about the issue.

Yet here he is now, feet feeling the warmness of the earthy-brown color of the sand as he admires the view of the horizon. It is beautiful, almost breath taking as if he is in paradise. But his moment was cut off when the guards noticed his presence on the abandoned place. "OI WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Shit, he's been caught again. He knows that it's probably the time he face the consequences of his actions. But that feeling of adrenaline is getting him excited, again and again as it repeats the cycle of the feeling of a masochistic happiness that he can't explain. He can't let that happen. To be beheaded in front of the pathetic people around him. No, he will run. As fast as he could.

Running away with his swift speed, he managed to escape (once again) the higher ups as he hides on the unfamiliar cave. Laughing to himself yet keeping quiet to not have the guards' attention. He once again admired the beauty of the rocks yet keeping his guard up. He knows that it's dangerous because of what ever is lurking in the dark. And it seems that he is somehow right. He noticed a shadow of, a human-like form with a tail on the water? He can't be serious right now. That living-creature doesn't exist, right? You slowly rise on the water, eyes like snake keeping your attention to the unfamiliar man as he pleaded for his life. "Oi, I don't know what the hell you want but, I"M HERE TO STAY FOR A WHILE SO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" He winced as he has his eyes closed ready to be attacked. But as you got up and sat down on the rocky ground, you just kept your attention to him. Your pupils unusually dilating as you got curious about his presence which once again is unusual in your instincts as you attack other people. He heard on the gossip that mermaid-like creatures kills humans. Yet you just sat there, admiring his beauty as he did the same. If he isn't "normal", then he probably found someone like him too. Probably a new friend?

Ivy: "Nice. Well, best of luck with how important that work is. Yeah. It's nice you got a little partner, right? Student president. If it gets cold, you can wear her like a sweater, I guess."

Fabian: "Uh..."

Fabian: "Uh, cold. That- Now that- Now I might need it now 'cause I'm feeling the chill."

Ivy: "Yeah."

Fabian: "So you don't wanna? You wouldn't wanna?"

Fabian: "I was thinking of something more structured like sparring, but you know, actually-"

Fabian: "Yeah, I think I'm supposed to be somewhere right now. I got a phone call."

Ivy: "Oh, yeah?"

Ally: "I got a phone call as a teenager?!" 😭✋

Siobhan: "I gotta be somewhere. I got a phone call." 😭💀

Fabian: "I have a scheduled phone call with my bank."

Brennan: "She says,"

Ivy: "Well, you better get to that."

Brennan: "She leans in and pulls down on your earlobe a little bit and says,"

Ivy: "You missed your shot, Playboy"

Brennan: "and leans back."

(Zac's reaction at that line was mine too fr! 😭✋)

Ally: "He has a scheduled call with his bank, though. I don't understand how that's a missed shot."

Brennan: "You see...Yeah, Alston Hughes is just like, 'Fabian, we need to talk, your money.' Oh, you also do get 10,000 gold pieces." 😂💀

Lou: "Oh, yeah. Great."

Siobhan: "Jesus Christ."

Ally: "So sick."

Brennan: "Incredible."

Sasuke and Sakura agreed to meet at a restaurant to have their dinner. They were together in the area but had separate missions. Sasuke finished first so he went ahead and waited for her there.

Waitress: Irasshaimase! Here's the menu.

Sasuke: *enters and takes it* I'm still waiting for someone, so we'll just order later.

Waitress: Sure! While waiting, do you want to play a quiz? If you get everything right, you don't have to pay.

Sasuke: A quiz?

Waitress: Yes, it's a little game that our manager started.. It's like a promo for our customers.

Sasuke: What's the quiz about?

Waitress: It's simple actually. We have a list of words that are hard to say.. There are 10 levels. You just need to pronounce them all correctly.

Sasuke: /thinks/ How is that hard?

Waitress: Also, if you win, you'll be the 1st one to do so!

That last statement was enough for competitive Sasuke to try it out. He agreed and the waitress called the others to watch them while he took the quiz.

Waitress: I will show you a card with a word and you just need to pronounce it. Be careful with your first pronunciation because we'll take that as your final answer.

Sasuke: Okay.

Waitress: *shows the 1st word*

Sasuke: *confused by the level of difficulty of the word; to him it's a regular word* sang-gwin

Waitress: Correct! *shows next*

Others: Correct again! You can do it sir!

Waitress: Okay! Hi, ma'am! Here's the menu! *leaves them*

Sakura: What's that about? *checks the menu*

Sasuke: They gave me a quiz. If I got everything correctly, we don't have to pay. I didn't win.

Sakura: *smiles* That's alright! Did you enjoy the quiz though?

Sasuke: Yeah. I didn't get the last one.

Sakura: Aw! It must be a hard question if you were not able to answer it.

Sasuke: *nods*

Sakura went to the washroom and heard the girls talking.

Waitress: I felt bad that he wasn't able to say the last word. That's too close!

Waitress2: Yeah. He's so handsome reading the words though!

Waitress3: And even if he didn't get the last word, he's still very cute and cool with it!

Waitress: Yeah, especially when almost no one can pronounce those foreign words.

Sakura: Excuse me.. Sorry, didn't mean to listen to your conversation but I'm just curious.. You're talking about Sasuke-kun's quiz, right?

Waitress: Oh, you're his companion! Yes, he took the quiz before you arrived.

Sakura: *nods* Yeah he said that but didn't elaborate about it.

Waitress: The rule was simple, he just needed to pronounce 10 words that are difficult to say. He got 9 out 10.

Sakura: Oh.. Yeah, he traveled quite a lot so he has a big vocabulary. *giggles*

Waitress: Yeah, it was evident! He was confident while answering earlier.

Sakura: Um, can you do me a favor? Can I get a copy of the list? I just want to learn those words too.. If that's fine..

Waitress: For sure! Wait, you can have this copy. *takes it out from her pocket; it's like a flip note where there's only one word per card* This is what we show our customers. It's like this, so they won't see the next word.

Sakura: Got it! Thank you very much!

When Sasuke and Sakura reached the inn where they were staying for the night, Sakura took out the cards and showed them to Sasuke.

Sakura: Sasuke-kun.. I was able to get a copy of your quiz.

Sasuke: Really?

Sakura: Yeah. I want to learn the words too. Can you teach me?

One by one, Sasuke read the words and Sakura repeated after him.

Sakura: Oh, we're on the last word! You were not able to read it, right?

Sasuke: Yeah.

Sakura: *flips the card to reveal the last word*

I LOVE YOU

Sasuke: I love you.

Sakura: Th-This is the last one?

Sasuke: *nods* Sakura, you have to repeat after me, right?

Sakura: *whispers* I love you. *blushes*

Sasuke: I can't hear you.

Sakura: I said I love you, Sasuke-kun! *flustered*

Sasuke: *smirks*

Sakura: You were not able to read this?

Sasuke: I didn't read it. You don't just say it to anyone..

Sakura: *smiles* Yeah.. Now I understand why it's in this list. It's indeed hard to say..

Sasuke: Would you say it if it was you who had the quiz?

Sakura: Only if you're the waiter. *laughs*

"Your splits are looking really nice," Chrissy Cunningham said, squeezing your shoulder as you rifled through your gym bag, towel held up with one hand. "Just think! Only a couple more practices and the we'll be full-out."

You grinned at her, rolling your sore shoulders as you stepped into your denim shorts. "Let's hope the early morning practices pay off," you griped, rubbing at your eye with a closed fist before Chrissy swatted your hand away.

"Don't do that!" she complained, turning to sit on the changing bench. "You'll get wrinkles, you know!"

"Chris, the only thing giving me wrinkles is the fact I have to do weekend evening practice," you retorted, huffing as you sat down next to her. "I could barely open my eyes on the road I'm so pooped."

You had stumbled out of Eddie's bed, bleary and swearing and sore from yesterday's evening practice, tripping over his guitar and your pom poms as you tried to get ready. He knew how badly you did after naps, and had fallen unconscious at his place at twelve, full from lunch and exhausted. You were now running late for your eight pm practice on a Saturday evening, the only time the gym would be free for the girls to rehearse their stunts. He sat up slightly, watching you yank clothes from the floor and stuff them into your duffel, cursing like a sailor as you went.

He loved seeing you like this. At school, you were everyone's perfect cheerleader, with turn outs and tumbles and t-shirts from the GAP. At home, though? You slid around in mismatched tube socks and smoked cigarettes from the roof of his trailer, teaching him how to do smoke rings and eating dubiously expired foods from the back of his Uncle's fridge.

"Good luck, precious," Eddie had called from the bed, and pursed his lips for kisses as you bent to place a steaming cup of coffee down on the bedside table that he would, undoubtedly, chug cold in four hours time. "Um. Hello. Kisses, please?"

You had sighed, and he tugged you in by the pleats of your cheer skirt, making louder kissing noises in the dark. "You're so needy," you huffed, and he wrapped his hand around your thigh.

"I don't get to do this until, like, ten tonight when I pick you up," he grumbled, pressing a kiss to your knee. "Sue me."

You pressed one of his shoulders down, and kissed his mouth, still dry from sleep. He smacked his lips appreciatively when you pulled away, and threw a pillow over his head. "Don't fall! Go Tigers!"

"See ya, Eds," you said fondly, and slung your haphazardly-stuffed duffel around one shoulder. "Love you!"

"You too, sweet girl," he mumbled, and you shut the door.

Now, though?

You gaped down at your gym bag in a panic, the painted face of Eddie's Hellfire shirt staring up at you. Oh, fuck. In the hazy evening dark, you must have grabbed it, not noticing what it was. You glanced around the locker room. Chrissy was talking to some cheer leaders by the sink, and the girls' hockey team was just filing in, complaining about the rain. You chose your moment, shoving the shirt over your head and ducking out into the hallway and racing down the corridor into the open air of the carpark, where Eddie Munson was loitering.

"Ah! Princess!" he cheered, waving imaginary pom poms at you before freezing. "Hey, is that my--"

"Your shirt, yes," you hissed, storming past him and toward the van. The cool night air, fresh with rain, made your exposed legs prickle as you made you way toward the vehicle, pausing only when you realised Eddie hadn't moved. "...Eds?"

He was staring at you, cigarette halfway to his mouth, eyes sliding up and down your figure. Taking in the cheer shoes and white socks with frills on them, the bruises on your thighs that were a mix of his mouth and crash mat, the hint of denim hidden under his oversized Hellfire shirt. He dropped the cigarette and stalked over to you, crushing you against the side of the van.

"Fuck," he whispered, nosing at your ear.

"Eddie, what the hell?" you hissed, fingers automatically coming up to grip the collar of his battle vest. "What's going on?"

"Nothing, sweet girl," he murmured, toying with the hem of your (his!) shirt. "I'm just lucky to have you, yano?"

You snorted, and reached to unlock the van. He caught your wrist in his fingers and slowly drew them up to his mouth, pressing a kiss to the back of your palm. "Seriously," he insisted, ignoring your unimpressed look. "I am. You're funny. You're smart. You're fit. You're beautiful. Your taste in music could be worked on, but I'll take that, who doesn't love a project?" He smiled down at you, and you blinked up at him stupidly, lost for words in this sudden moment. "The top flyer of Hawkins High, here with me, in my t-shirt."

Your face melted, and you nudged a kiss to the underside of his jaw. "The top flyer of Hawkins High," you agreed, "never wants to wear anything else ever again."

"God," he groaned, burying his face in your neck. "You're it for me, precious. You know that?"

You giggled, and kissed his cheek. "Even if I want to listen to The Smiths all the way home?"

He tugged at the hem of your shirt. "Don't push your luck."

omg what about robin with a gf who's a baddie? really pretty, likes to wear tight revealing clothes, but is also really feisty and gets into a lot of fights with other ppl (not robin, she's perfect in reader's eyes and could never do any wrong), lol probably rly popular and cheerleader or something, but she lets her guard down to be more soft and gentle around robin? kinda like a 'i hate everyone but you' trope from the reader's side? headcanons or fic either works lol, but i kinda feel like hcs

she's a sarcastic little shit, and she's way too smart for her own good, and it should infuriate you, but she has this laugh that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, and she's so effortlessly pretty that you could scream

when you first start dating, you try to hold onto the cool persona you've perfected, but she's got you weak at the knees when she smiles at you

and as soon as she realises this, she's laying it on thick

she gives you sappy nicknames that you would threaten to beat anyone else up for calling you

"sweetheart" "pretty girl" "softie"

and you know she's teasing you but you've truly stopped caring

you're mesmerised by her freckles, and they way she blushes when you you kiss them

and you fucking love to kiss her okay? like its an addiction at this point

her lips are perfect; they're soft, and they taste like cherry and if she would let you, you'd kiss them forever (sometimes just to stop her rambling - you love her, but man, it's a lot)

teasing aside, robin is just as obsessed with you (hence the rambling)

you're fiercly protective of her

you get into fights for her a lot - it drives robin close to sheer insanity

she loves that you love her enough to defend her and she always patches you up, cleaning up any cuts, intentionally using little colourful plasters because you pretend to hate them, and kissing every bruise

but she really hates seeing you hurt

you obviously apologise for worrying her

you glare at people who give you dirty looks in public for holding hands etc

but as much as you pretend you're above caring, it breaks your heart how society treats your relationship, because nothing about your love for robin is disgusting or wrong like those dirty looks try to tell you

robins rubs up and down your back when you get like that, and kisses you over and over, reassuring you that it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about the pair of you, that she loves you regardless

(sorry, idk where that came from inside me, i'll move onto something happier now)

steve hates you at first (and it's pretty mutual)

( robin accidentally lets slip that you're the little spoon and he has a fucking field day with that information )

but he can see how you melt when robin walks into a room, and he knows you're not breaking her heart anytime soon

and so you develop the most reluctant, complex, friendship Robin has ever witnessed

I would love to hear more about your story idea where Cedric gets a snake familiar! How he got her, their relationship, her personality, etc. You mentioned some things, and I've been thinking about it a lot tbh.

Cedric, The Sorcerer; Rose, The Snake

Cedric was in his tower, doing royal sorcerer things, as he does

He hears from his balcony/window Sofia arguing with the guards and she sounded distressed

He sees her holding,,, something

Or rather, something is wrapped around her shoulders-

"OMG IS THAT A BLOODY FUCKIN SNAKE???" - Cedric, probably

He goes to investigate

Sofia says that Rose Got hurt because some kids were fucking with it for fun (because it's common that snakes are mistreated/killed just for being a snake)

He notices Rose has some skin missing and in general looks beat up

Rose is pretty much exactly like her name implies: sweet, beautiful, and full of love and affection

She's very encouraging of Cedric, very eager to help him fetch ingredients, and basically becomes his best friend! She's a great listener, sorta motherly in a sense, and also suffers from anxiety and depression like Cedric does (because of her trauma/isolation because people judge her for being a snake)

She also offers free pest control in Cedric's tower and pretty much the whole castle! Not one mouse or rat has been seen since Rose moved in....

Rose LOVES being on Cedric's shoulders and wrapping around his arm. She's a snake after all, and she needs warmth!

Cedric has since made sure his workshop gets PLENTY of sunlight since Rose was put under his care. The sunshine even helps Cedric feel good after getting used to it!

Cedric at first was hesitant to get close to rose. After wormys betrayal, he didn't think he could trust another familiar to get so close to him. If his lifelong former best friend could betray him, why not a snake? A figure that represents deceit and evil?

But rose proves Cedric wrong

She's eternally grateful for Cedric taking such good care of her. And she at first was terrified of him. Sofia had to sit with her while Cedric patched her up, she didn't want to be alone with him just yet :(( but she trusted Sofia, and if Sofia trusted Cedric, then rose would give him a chance

They both are distant to each other at first, but as rose recovers, she gets bored of just. Doing nothing. And she doesn't want to explore the castle and scare anyone, lest she get hurt again :((

So she watches Cedric work. Becomes familiar with a few things. And suddenly when Cedric needs an ingredient, rose is slithering to get it for him!

At first Cedric insisted she rest, but rose convinced him to let her help, "to return the kindness you gave me, Mr. Cedric"

Oh yeah Rose calls him "Mr. Cedric" for the few first days (despite Cedric's insistence she doesn't have to) because Sofia calls him that xD Rose is super polite!

Once Rose is rested up finally, she expressed fear of going back into the wild. Living in the castle was... Nice. And safe. And warm. And most importantly, she had friends 🥺

So Cedric brought up her becoming his familiar

At first, rose couldn't believe it! And she was hesitant because she wasn't sure how others would react to her being his familiar. She didn't want to cause Cedric any trouble by being associated with her :((

Cedric then replies "My dear, the last familiar I had was much more trouble than he was worth- but you? You're the friend and familiar I think I've always needed. If you want to humor me, that is?"

And that's history! Everyone needed some adjustments to Rose- after all, a fear of snakes is a common phobia. But the royal family learns to love her, and Rose learns to trust other humans as they show her love and compassion. And seeing Sofia hold her and Rose be so sweet makes the twins start to hold her too! Even amber comes around! James thought Rose was cool from day one though xD

Rose is also 5.5 feet long!

1. I LOVE UR FIC OHMYGOD HOLY SHIIIIIIIT

2. god, i don't even have the slightest idea of how tennis works, but this is just so????? like?????? you know. and i kinda get how the play goes?? YOU'RE AN AMAZING WRITER GOSH.

3. i actually remembered most of the characters?? considering there's a lot of em, this is practically a miracle. again, you're goddamn amazing. i dont know how. maybe the pace is great, but definitely THE CHARAS ALL HAVE PERSONALITY/DEPTH??? like, i actually even remembered the side charas!!! mike, thalia, diego, felix, that cool ass girl in that shooting game, etc. umh just perfecto.

There are a looot of characters, and I definitely worry sometimes that it gets to be too much, but I think the IF is getting long enough for me to give enough-ish screentime to each character... though it takes me a while to cycle back to different side characters. I cant believe you remembered the cool ass girl in laser tag! :)

5. Yup, being a character driven IF, there will be a lot of romance (or friendship) beats / moments in the IF (which is already true now). The next couple of chapters will follow the same mix of sports, school and romance / hanging out, so you should already have a sense of how much romance there'll be (it'll just keep unfolding / developing for each of the RO routes!)

COMFORT // BYAKUYA X GN S/O

you heaved a sigh, listening your husband, the almighty byakuya togami, insulting one of his new servants for *accidentally* spilling some champagne on his top. you were just waiting for togami to finish his whole dramatic scene and tried not to think about the havoc going on right next to you. at least he wasn't yelling at the servant.

well since you've heard byakuya throw spiteful comments at servants several times, you knew how long this would go on for. your mind was protesting you tell togami to stop being such a bratty bitch despite already knowing the result you'll receive. "s/o. this is my business, stay out of it,". you've heard it thousands of times, and you don't want to hear it ever again.

you were zoned out until you heard those words. "you know what? you're fired, get out of my face you plebian," you turned to look to your side, only to see byakuya shooing the servant away. it looked like she was crying, too.

even though this was normal on his part, it definitely wasn't anything good on yours. how heartless of him to just send someone away for an accident and start casually sipping your coffee, right next to your partner too.

"hey dude, that wasn't cool. she was apologizing, you didn't HAVE to fire her... plus you could just wash the champagne out," you said, in your calmest demeanour. "she deserved it. what am i even paying her for if she's just going to ruin my belongings," wow. way to go. "just because you think she and almost everyone are under you doesn't mean you can treat them like trash!" byakuya set his coffee down and turned to you, giving you that all-so familiar leave-me-alone face. "if you want to side with her, how about you go chase after her and go apologize for your husband's behavior since he doesn't want to,"

"well maybe i will- and leave your hellhole of a mansion!" you got up and stormed away to your room. byakuya just shrugged and continued with his extra black and bitter coffee, you'd get over it and wear yourself out eventually.

after locking the door, you flopped onto your queen-sized bed and buried your face into the fluffy pillow, unable to tell if you wanted scream, cry or both. well, your hunger kept you distracted from your emotions... and your emotions kept you distracted from your hunger. you were tempted to grab something to eat, but you didn't want to see your husband's face right now.

you woke up to the sound of banging on your door. this... wasn't your room, were you even in byakuya's mansion anymore? it wouldn't be possible that he'd drugged you since you never ate or drank anything nor would it be possible that he or his workers carried you elsewhere as you were a light sleeper.

your thoughts were interrupted by screaming and crying. there was a painful silence before you heard something being thrown across the room and a cry before everything turned silent again.

scanning your surrondings, you immediately realize this was your old room when your eyes met a picture of you, your mom and your dad. you knew what was happening behind the door of your "room". not wanting to see or find out if your theories were true, you hid under your ragged blankets, trying to fall asleep again, hoping this was all just a bad dream.

your eyes flew open as you gasped, sitting up from your bed. your actual bed. it was all just a nightmare. a flashback. after a while, somebody started softly knocking on your door. you hated yourself at that moment for hoping it was byakuya just coming to check on you or something.

getting up to unlock the door, you passed your vanity mirror and saw you were pale, sweating and shaking. grabbing the door handle, you used all the strength you had to pull it open, revealing who you'd hope to be behind the door. your husband. "byakuya-!" you jumped onto him to hug him.

"yeah yeah, hi. i just came here to apologize for... this morning," he hugged back, with his same disgusted face. you knew he's just like that whenever he received affection, though. "so, what happened- you're all sweaty and stuff," he gently pushed you away and folded his arms, looking down (or up if you're somehow taller than daddy long legs) at you.

"it's nothing, just a bad dream," with him around, yea, you felt better, but to say you've recovered fast would be an understatement. "hm. alright," he gave you a suspicious look before turning back to where his room was, but not before announcing something you've been wanting to hear for so long. "also, since you wanted to, we're going to disneyland."

DISNEYLANDDD sorry if it's short! i rushed the ending slightly so uhm it might not have *fluff* fluff, but i tried to make it as wholesome as possible :,)
