Argenti despises you. Every little thing you do, every moment you spend with him, it makes him hate you even more. The way you’d always greet him with a hug, or how your eyes seemed to sparkle when you looked at him.

Yet when he stared back at you, he couldn’t help but smile.

You’re an enigma to him. Argenti swore loyalty to the Aeon of Beauty, that Idrila was and will always be the pinnacle of life and all its glory.

Yet when he returned your hug, he couldn’t help but feel that you were the only thing in his universe worth praising.

Argenti loves you, despite how much he wish he didn’t.

He hated how you made him doubt his worship. He hated how just gazing upon you eased his mind. And he hated how beautiful you were; enchanting him with your silly expressions.

But as you took his hands in yours and confessed your love…

“I… I feel the same way, [name].” He couldn’t stop the words tumbling out his mouth. He couldn’t stop himself from taking you into his arms. He couldn’t stop himself from spinning you around in the air. He couldn’t stop the tears in his eyes or the feelings rushing inside him or the love he had for you.

Your laughter consumes his thoughts as he twirls you around. Then, he grabs you to his chest, his armoured body squeezing you more than it should in his embrace. Argenti buries his nose into your hair and presses you as close to himself as possible. His long red hair falls over you like his overflowing adoration.

My fav ship/dynamic in Hoyoverse:

C.W.: A very long post!

Whether romantic or platonic, this is one of my fav relationship dynamic: The goofy, happy sunshine and their stoic partner that has a tragic/dark past.

Or in the hoyoverse case, sunshine protagonist with their anemo partners!!

Top left and right: Caelus and Dan Heng from Honkai: Star Rail

Bottom left and right: Xiao and Aether from Genshin Impact

Both appearing together on official art

Having close proximity with each other, and that both are out of "dire" circumstances, being that Xiao is saving Aether from a falling platform while Dan Heng is reviving Trailblazer with "CPR"

I just love their dynamic so much sksksksksk! Here's a few parallels from what I can find so far:

When they both first meet, things went a bit of a rough, awkward patch, with the whole CPR thing and Traveller trying to contact Xiao for the first time

Both gradually gets closer to each other while fighting enemies and going through quests

Appearing together on official arts

Being "saved" by their anemo partner: Xiao saving Aether from falling off a platform and Dan Heng about to revive Caelus through "CPR"

Caelus and Aether's yellow-brown colour palette; while Xiao and Dan Heng's colour palette is teal-coloured

Caelus and Aether having special powers being that they can switch elements and has light elements; while Xiao and Dan Heng having anemo/wind element

I like Xiao and Aether's dynamic more since Xiao has more chance to flesh out his character development through the quests and limited time events, moreover since genshin is older than star rail so we were able to see more interactions between them.

Although it's been a year or so after star rail was released, there's still a long way to go for the story and the limited time events. That said, I really like Dan Heng's quest in the Luofu, especially that small moment when IL Dan Heng was asking Caelus if he has any questions, to which Caelus remains silent (prob due to the events and confusion) and that Dan Heng was a bit worried since Caelus didn't respond about how he was really feeling. Also, another moment I like was when Caelus and Dan Heng were both stressed when they couldn't contact each other during the Luofu quest and Dan Heng was stressed trying to find the astral gang. I wish I could add more screenshots about their interactions but I can only add 10 pics...

I'm a bit sad that Dan Heng didn't join with the astral express gang in Penacony but it's understandable since dude went through a lot in Luofu. Still, I hope we get to see more of him! (it's also really sweet when Dan Heng was about to come to their rescue through the text messages when he found out that there's some issues going on in Penacony and Trailblazer got hurt)

Whether romantic or platonic, I hope to see more of their interactions cause I'm literally eating any of this type of content I can find on social media aaaaaaaaahhhh! Let me know what you guys think about them! (灬╹ω╹灬)

The Story of Kunning Palace 命转皇后/宁安如梦

Started watching the canto dub with eng subs when it came on tvb!! I’ve wanted to watch it for a while but I didn’t want to get another streaming service to watch it. On episode 17 now and I couldn’t resist making a post about what happened so far lol. Please don’t give me spoilers!

I love Ning Er so much. She’s clever, and she’s trying her best to change things, but she doesn’t know everything from her past life and things have changed so she’s having to act on the fly! And I love seeing how she uses her wits in these moments! And how she outsmarts her opponents!

I love the dynamic between her and Xie Wei. The brat and teacher power dynamic? But she’s just as clever as he is? And he’s constantly like, how/why do you keep showing up when shit goes down?? She infuriates him but he’s also sooooo fascinated and charmed by her and he wants to protect her.

So this probs real obvious but I’m gonna put it down here anyway. Xie Wei is the missing Xue Ding-fei and he and the current Xue Ding-fei swapped identities so that he could be sneaky and undercover.

I… don’t think the male cast is very good-looking tbh :”) Zhang Zhe’s probably the most attractive to me. I guess Xie Wei is hot when he’s being all smug and domineering and shit. Also I love how Zhang Zhe (and Ning Er, but more so Zhang Zhe) had been going “You’re working for him too??” like, constantly and getting more and more incredulous but he can’t react cuz he’s undercover lmao.

I feel like this is the start of the second arc, like we’re leaving the palace, the stakes are higher, but maybe I’m wrong. More hilarious moments: when Zhou Yin-zhi tells Xie Wei Ning Er has been kidnapped and internally he’s like: What?? Why??? How??? WHY like girl is gonna make him go grey. And also when she tells Zhang Zhe she told the rebels they’re cousins but they’re in love so they ran away to elope is HILARIOUS. He’s like, why would you tell them that?? But tbh it was a good plan to get them to stop questioning her. And then the rebels acting increasingly awkward around them. Love that the auntie ships them. She’s like, ah young love.

It definitely appeals to me that Xie Wei is so clever but also fucked up. Like not necessarily in a bad way, but man has been through A LOT, since he was like 6. And he’s been plotting and scheming and deceiving for so long, that’s gotta have an impact on his personality.

I have so many fav moments when Ning Er out-smarts her enemies or comes out with the upper hand. A cute recent one is basically the whole “getting the second half of the letter” plot, but specifically when the bank notes reveal her little turtle drawing. So cute!! It’s like she’s saying, hi 👋🏻😙 and then when he shows it to the others and they are just so confused because they don’t have context for the turtle??

Okay wait wait before I end this post I wanna talk about what intrigued me so much about this show in the first place. I’ve always loved reading time travel fix-its, seeing how things change or stay the same, what characters do with what they know and i thought it'd be so interesting for a story to start like a time travel fix it fic, but because the audience doesn't have the established "canon", it's revealed slowly through the story. And then this show showed up on my tumblr and I was like ??? wth this is exactly what I was looking for

reviewing loki s2 ep4 (major spoilers!)

i was bit hesitant thowards this ep cuz i started noticing how this season parallels the previous one, which went very downhill after ep3 however, i think it seem to get better this time? 🤔🤭 this is so far my fav episode and hopefull they'll keep this energy for the last 2 eps. ok let's get into it:

i don't think this was timed like this on purpose but love how we're 3 days away from halloween and this episode fits with it so well. i could be biased as a horror fan but i loved the eeriness (is that even a term?)

brad you stupidass why are you listening to ravonna when she clearly doesn't care about any of your lives on the time line 😭

ooouu the box scene 😧 not miss minutes' psycho ass smiling like she's getting creepier each ep- also as someone who watches gory movies i expected to see what was left of all the prisoners but then i remembered disney tries to keep shit as "family friendly" as possible altough i am not complaining cuz it's a lot more cinematic to just hear the blood droplets & it leaves space for our imagination!

why does it feel like b-15 is lowkey the true leader of the tva now? i can definitely vibe with that.

B-15 is strong af for not throwing up at *that* scene but ig she has seen more gruesome sights before.

i just know ppl gonna ship o.b, casey & victor as a poly-couple and i'm a 100% there for it lmaoo

i know sylvie meant well when she snapped at mobius for yk, "not reading the room" but i still felt kinda bad for mobius cuz i can deffo see him as the stress eater-type.

the parallels between thor & jane and loki & mobius hmmm.....hmmmm...

what sylvie said about anhiliation & starting from scratch reminded me of thanos in endgame, sry baby 💀

well despite of that, still think sylvie is in the middle of her positive character arc/development

we're also witnessing loki's growth !! (notice how in 1x04 mobius told him to grow up?) he's possibly even more mature then he was in the sacred time line but that was due his sctripted fate of being a "loser" that sabotaged him from more rational choices but now he's free to think & do what he wants n i love that for him.

goodbye miss minutes i assure you that nobody's gonna miss yew. 💁‍♀️

now why did x-5 had to ruin that wholesome moment this badly ><=$^[_=

despite of sylvie & loki not fully agreeing on moral issues and stuff, i enjoyed them working together, it was finally sylvie's turn to show off her magic 😋

loki was so soft & reassuring with victor timely only for him to be spaghettified ?? i knew they'd probs kill him off but i didn't expect it to be such a weird & immidate death 😭 kinda sad cuz i don't think they'll bring that version of him back.

idk how to feel about ravonna getting pruned. not sure she'll get redeemed cuz it's too late for that now but pruning doesn't kill an invidual so it's likely that her story doesn't just end here.

love the soundtrack in this series generally but in the latest episode it's outstanding ! natalie holt truly added her whole 🐱 into this ost 🙏

the cliffhanger is absolutely killing me, i'll have to absorb all the theories until next friday like i fr cannot wait ngfddjfsvbm

(so, where to begin? i guess from the simple fact, that i wanted to do smth fun with this clean-cut parallel. at first, i wanted to make some quick edits, but then, i decided what the heck. i might just re-draw it! *or sort of re-draw it anyways*

the shippy stuff is shippy, but really it was hard not to be all like *insert dicaprio pointing meme* when i was reading the venom comic, and flash just pulled a batman on me. beat jack up, n’ then instead of killing him, like he wanted to, he spared him. took him in his arms all gently-like n’ carried his sorry ass into the dawn. like man, it just hit the cords within me! i was all like oohhh, it's like in one of my most fav scarecrow issues! i wasn't expecting this from the comic, even less so from flash, who always had a bit of bipolar resolute, when it came to jack. 'he wanna kill him, he wanna kill him not'. that sort of thing. yet, this moment kind of shown, that he prob will always find a reason to talk himself out of putting him down.

that's aside, another part of why i love those stories, is that both issues felt personal. both, jon n’ jack had personal grudges, both batman and flash were struggling with personal darkness within them. both overcame it, n' literally had to beat up their personal walking-talking nightmare *flash even refers to jack as that later on*. like, it was pretty great, honestly. all that emotional baggage, uncanny kinships with their own twisted mirror, which resulted in them actually feeling sympathy for scarecrow n' jack. giving them a small speech, that they couldn’t hear *bc unconscious*, sort of implying that maybe ‘they’re not beyond help’. it's almost bitter-sweet. even if most people would argue, that both jon n’ jack are way-way too far gone at that point. even if 'solution' sounds too unrealistic to be true. still, if someone like batman believes in you, then maybe, just maybe there is a chance. n’ if someone like flash spares your life, even though, he’s nothing like bruce *he actually killed people before*, then perhaps, there is smth beyond projection, which made him do it.

all 4 characters are very different, n’ thb the context in everyone’s motivations n’ struggles are very different too, but i love how bruce n’ flash came to the same conclusion. took the same route with their respective twinky ghoul. showing mercy is noble, n’ it’s pretty sweet tbh. one of my fav tropes in fiction is when the hero/protagonist shows kindness/empathy toward their villain *who in most cases doesn’t ‘deserve it*. that whole cop out thing about 'evil should be punished by death' in fiction really takes away the romantism n' bendiness of fiction as whole tbh. esp with heroes. they supposed to be able to do 'impossible', including 'forgive the unforgiving'. this is why i prob will always advocate for the ‘no kill’ rule for super-heroes. i mean, it makes you have moments like those. smth that is actually emotional n’ also shows the cracks in heroes themselves, bc usually they can only truly relate to their rogues, someone who is usually designed to be a warped up reflection of hero’s own weaknesses, struggles or traumas. n’ while i always see jack o’lantern as spiderman’s villain *he’s one of oldies, a classic villain after all*, i suppose, that this version of jack was tailored for flash’s venom specifically, n’ i *unexpectedly* i loved it. daddy's issues run deep in this one for both of them. meanwhile, bruce be out there lecturing jon's school bullies, after he nearly killed them. what a man lol.

now, the comic panels themselves. just for better visualisation.

i didn’t include the first bit in my lil art thingy above, but i love how not only the venom mirrors batman in actions, but also how they’re even facing opposite sides, playing around with nearly opposite color pallets in each fight too. caters to the mood, but also it just looks nice side by side tbh. the blue/black/grey for batman, and orange/dark brown/yellow for venom. a dark knight / soldier n' maskless halloween villain. this prob the only point, where they connect narratively n' thematically, but it's a major one.

anyho', i didn't had a hardcore goal to re-draw those scenes to a t, just make it recognizable for the most part. but it was fun! also gave me an execuse to stare at those comic panels some more.

as for the song, it popped out inside my head kinda randomly. but it fits them, i think. even the tune itself adds to it. somewhat sad n’ slow. but the meaning of it, not fully hopeless. at least, they will always have someone there for them. after all, guys like jon n’ jack will always come back, seeking ‘their hero’, hungry for punishment or other things. n’ for someone as crippled as bruce or flash, it might not be the worst thing, really. usually, the hero is stuck in the same miserable 'unchanging', unwinnable situation as their villains are. be it outside forces, fate or sickness, that keeps them bond. it's still better to try and make the best of it, right?)

- they were taking pictures and u accidentally walked thru

- when u realized, u posed half heartedly to lighten the situation

- they laughed it off and jeongin put the camera in selfie mode and took a pic with all three of u

- and then seungmin started chatting u up cus he thought u were cute

- jeongin just stood there while seungmin tried to flirt

- you were all smiles and you'd laugh just a little too hard

- seungmin felt like the most damn charismatic mf alive

- he picked up on your mannerisms quickly and found himself finding every single one endearing

- eventually jeongin felt the need to interject after having stood there for a good while

- "min we were supposed to meet w chan later right?"

- and then u asked for his kkt to keep talking

- u guys chatted and got to know each other

It makes me wonder, how would the resident ros(who are all close with the mc platonically) + andrei react if the mc suddenly tells them that they think they might be in love with a mysterious person who might or might not be a bad guy(antagonist)?🤭

omg this is goodddd, I did a narrative answer because this is prob one of my fav requested scenario so far!

Of course, I always defer to comedy when I write scenarios (idk why lol) and this is definitely not canon hahaha

this is going off them possibly knowing the antagonist is a bad guy at the moment MC tells them:

“I think I’m in love.”

At your words, your housemates immediately stop what they’re doing. They surround you, splayed in various positions on the couch. Your words are followed by terse silence, punctuated only by the melodic ticking sound of the grandfather clock that sits in the corner of the living room.

You didn’t mean to blurt it out the way you did, but the words have been gnawing at you for too long. Better to rip the bandage off, right?

“Are we supposed to have a response to that?” Dani asks from their spot on the chair, clearly unimpressed by your sudden declaration.

“Shush, Dani,” F says, waving their hand dismissively at them, their eyes never leaving yours, “you’re ruining the moment.”

“That’s cute,” Alex says, sounding bored of the conversation already. You didn’t expect much of a reaction from them anyway.

“Oh, this is so wonderful.” Andrei makes a wistful face, putting his palms on his cheeks. “MC is growing up...”

“I’m literally an adult,” you remind him.

“Don’t ruin this for me,” Andrei says to you with a frown.

K shoots him a baffled look. “For you?”

Perry sits forward, shoving Andrei back. As he looks at you, he smiles, but it can really only be read one way: cautiously optimistic. If someone could smile in worry, whatever face Perry is making is exactly what it would look like. “That’s…good, MC. Congrats. Who, pray tell, are you in love with?”

“Great question…” Now this is the part that was eating away at you these past few days. The idea of you being in love isn’t exactly news to fuss over—at least, your housemates wouldn’t think so—but you know the matter of who you’re in love with is a different story completely.

You inhale deeply. “I may be in love with (antagonist).”

Another round of silence. Every pair of eyes in the room settles on you. You quite literally witness all of them go through the five stages of grief before they somehow collectively decide to speak up at once.

“What the fuck—“

“MC, what is wrong with you—“

Alex even stands, palming their face. “I’m going to bed—“

“Wait!” You grab Alex’s arm before they can leave. “I can explain!”

“MC!” Andrei cries. “Are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

F lets out a long whistle, smiling. “Can we consider MC the family disappointment now?”

“You still hold that title,” K says easily.

Dani stares at you, brows knitted in outrage. “Are you joking?”

“Obviously not,” N says, finally choosing to speak.

Andrei makes a show of fanning himself, even going as far as putting the back of his hand to his forehead. “I think I might faint.”

“Please do,” K says.

Perry raises a hand as if in class, and you nod your chin at him. “He tried to kill you.”

“We don’t know that for sure yet,” you counter. “We don’t even know if he’s actually the one we’re looking for.”

“Once again,” Perry replies, “he tried to kill you.”

“Out of everyone in this house, I thought it’d be Alex falling in love with a literal murderer.” F barks out a laugh.

“Jury’s still out,” Alex pipes in, their voice leaving them in a lazy drawl. “I have a few in mind.”

“The most surprising thing out of all this is how MC even had time to fall in love with someone,” K says. “You hardly leave the house.”

Well.

“That’s the most surprising thing?” Perry frowns.

“Guys.” You raise your palms. “Let’s all take a breather—“

“So what was it that did it for you?” F asks, smirking. “Was it the homicidal undertones? Did he take you to a cemetery for your first date? Gaslight you into thinking world domination is peak romance?”

You huff. “No—“

“I can’t believe this conversation is real.” Dani looks positively miserable as they curl up against the arm of the chair. “Am I the only sane one here?”

F shakes their head. “Dani, calling you sane is like calling K fun.”

“I am fun.” K scowls.

“Guess you’re a liar too,” Alex retorts, ignoring K’s glare.

Perry is too busy gazing at a fixed point on the wall, having checked out minutes ago. Guess even this is above his pay-grade.

Andrei let’s our a wail. “This is the worst day of my life! I retract my blessing!”

“I never asked for your—never mind.” You shake your head. Why did you tell them again? “Forget I said anything.”

But they don’t hear you. F is still loudly wondering what exactly antagonist did to get you so smitten, while Alex argues that a date at a cemetery is in fact, a great date. Dani is looking around the living room, appearing as if they want to murder literally everyone. Andrei is having a meltdown, crying to K who is doing a poor job at comforting him. Perry, on the other hand, has his head bent to the ceiling, lost in space.

Calling this a mess is an understatement.

You jump when N appears besides you, offering you a tiny smile.

“You seem entertained.” You sigh.

N nods. “Surprisingly.”

You decide in that moment that N’s silence may be for a reason, and that they’re definitely a lot smarter than they let on.

N’s smile grows, as if they know what you’re thinking.

Yeah, you decide, as you gaze at the group who are now arguing amongst each other for reasons beyond you. Next time: say nothing.

BEST EXPERIENCE?: I'm seconding what ferre said and screaming: PLOTTED GROUP VERSES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but rly, anytime we do in-depth plotting that you get really engrossed into, and go crazy world-building & expanding the lore and plotline.... that's the besttt.

RP PET PEEVES?: hmmmm........... tbh nothing is really coming to mind at this moment, probably because my dash is so small & curated to only blogs who i really like seeing on my dash, so i think i've temporarily forgotten about the annoying parts of rp??? FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: I like all of them !! angst is prob my fav of those genres, but if i wrote too much of it, i think it would get tiring for me because it may feel less impactful/geuine?? IDK. but fluff is definitely needed sometimes. and smut can also be fun, in moderate doses! fluffy smut and/or smutty fluff tho... 👌that's good shit, LMAO

PLOTS OR MEMES?: again, both are fun! i think a balance ( maybe not 50-50, but a balanced amount ) is ideal. as much as i do love plotting, it does require a lot of energy and social battery. so meme's are perfect for times when you are running low on that, but still want to rp~ ( and i'm going to do the ones in my inbox soon I PROMISE )

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: my replies usually end up being long. but for starters or meme's, short sometimes makes the most sense... I know the fact I often write novels might seem intimidating to people who aren't novella, but I don't mind short replies . . . lengthy replies is just more of my personal 'writing style', but I don't require partners to adapt to it?? yOU DO YOU

TIME TO WRITE?: NEVER, APPARANTLY. ( jk i have time but i spend most of it rotting and watching 5 hour long video essays about pointless shit ajsjaj )

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: hmm... I don't know! but compared to my other muses, I'd say, I guess Tai is one of my characters who is more 'similar' to me in some ways. I think because he's one of my oldest; his very first incarnation as a character I wrote goes back to when I was like 12. so he does have a lot of personal touches-- things that are probably quite specific to mE & my personal tastes. as I got older, I started to make a wide variety of characters, some of which I have nothinggg in common with... but Tai isn't one of those ajsja. we're not extremely similar, but we're not complete opposites either ? I think I partially fear saying that because I don't want anyone to think he's a 'self-insert', but... meh. I would hope it's pretty obvious that he's not :sob:

As a distraction from all the spoilers, what was your favorite episode from each S7 season aside from the finales

I have Captain Jack, Meow Kai, and Rock Hard Country

Ily moot you're always here when I need to procrastinate had to pop open netflix for this one

season 1: i dont think it's a very spicy take to say this is not my favorite season because boy it makes it hard to introduce people to this show /j generously not including crisis on the island cause it's part of the finale on a technicality episode 6 (assassinating a pretty girl) is prob my fav cause it introduces cola . there's some cringe moments but i endure it for my girl cola. fuckin love her. my beloved. the only other things i gotta say about this season is one, why are the first 4 episode titles not capitalized right on netflix and two no matter what happens in this season i still feel morally superior to a melidoas fan /j

(is it cheating to say the OVA is my fav from season 1? it feels like it is. if it's not it's thirteen's ova.)

season 2: ok fuck i love every episode in this season. fuck . i think it's a tie between thirteen vs seven and again, we meet captain jack . both episodes r like the peak of the show perfectly mixing drama and lore and comedy and they're so good for both thirteen and seven's characterization. honorable mention is plum blossom eleven because it has the funniest fucking moment in this entire goddamn show

season 3: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK GODDAMNIIIIIIIIIIIT SHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

tie between sneaking into xuanwu country and master green phoenix's scheme. they both fuck so hard as episodes . probably have my favorite moments in the entire series so far if i'm being fr. the quality of season 3 makes this a near impossible choice but i adore what sneaking to xuanwu country does for the worldbuilding and characterization of xuanwu itself and also i love (insert every other essay i've ever typed up about master green phoenix's scheme)

Book 5 & Beginning of 6 Thoughs

(SPOILERS DOWN BELOW)

• BOOK 5 IS HANDS DOWN MY FAV BOOK SO FAR

• ok so regarding book 5, i really came to love vil sm more than i thought, he was relatable and had good material for why he did what he did, i felt so sorry for him throughout the story and he didn’t deserve the pain he got

• also the fact he was always beautiful just too beautiful put me in pain

• wow i don’t hate neige like i thought i would, he’s an amazing person and balances out a lot from what we’ve seen of the other characters

• grim overblot being canon now makes me so happy for some reason?? maybe just angst

• im so happy ace and deuce didn’t give the money for ramschakle, because everyone else is stupidly rich and doesn’t need it

• vil apologizing made my heart for him grow, he for some noteworthy character development that was lacking in a lot of the overblots tbh

• jamil pissed me off sm, he got pushed down on my fav character list for sure, he was just so like annoying and not grateful in my opinion

• ESPECIALLY WHEN DEUCE LITERALLY SAVED THEM

• deuce deserved the attention he got and has one of the best signature spells

• deuce and epel friendship is perfect

• crowly angering me once again

• I MISS GRIM WAHHHHH

• i def noticed that yuu is getting more dialogue options and attention in the story

• it angers me we still didn’t show anyone the pic that would be on my top priorities

• maybe i’m a lil stupid but in my head i don’t really understand malleus x yuu hyper that well, don’t get me wrong it’s adorable but i don’t get why people say it’s close to canon LMAO

• im terrified of those robots who took vil and jamil wtf, ik why they did is bc they overblot (im assuming so i can’t make it past when deuce fights them rn)

• did i mention i miss grim?

• anyways grim acting aggressive got me motivated to read book 6, idc about idia i’m in it for grim and vil

• i have way too many vil headcanons after this, first of all HES A SWEETHEART

• rook is an amazing character i will not take criticism

• speak of which THIS GAME needs to stop finding excuses to push off reveals in the stupidest ways, like how they get disrupted by someone or time, it’s annoying and i’m sure u can ask whilst you’re walking there or later on not just forget it

• the amount of times people get scared by someone popping up is getting annoying, like save that for genuine scary or silly moment, im sure they would be use to people sneaking up on them by now

• idk how to feel about jamil’s rap

• i love orthos character he needs more attention

i’ve been rewatching a lot of powerpuff girls episodes like i’m honestly determined to watch every episode at this point bc i got sucked in when i was only watching like one or two LOL and boy i have THOUGHTS. for some reason i hardly remember any of these episodes even tho ik i’ve seen them all a bunch of times on boomerang so it’s felt like i’m watching them for the first time with my adult lens. i love all 3 of the main girls they are rlly interesting characters and what i love abt the show is how they balance back and forth between all this crime fighting shit and the girls just living normal lives as preschoolers or whatever bc it can def feel like a slice of life show sometimes in those more laid back episodes not that the superhero shit isn’t fun to watch too bc it is!!!! it reminds me of jimmy neutron a bit how jimmy will have to save the day and shit but he still acts like a normal kid with normal kid problems at the end of the day bc powerpuff girls has that same feel to it which i like where the girls still will act like normal toddlers or whatever and it’s cute & endearing af. ok i’m just gonna flat out say it idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not but blossom is my fav character she’s definitely way more interesting and nuanced than the other two girls while bubbles and buttercup are more one dimensional bc bubbles is just the sweet one and buttercup is the mean one LOL. i like blossom bc she has the traits of both her sisters combined but she’s more balanced out so she can have good chemistry in scenes with either sister whether she agrees with bubbles on something or with buttercup on something. bc blossom knows how to be nice like bubbles in some situations and in other situations she’s more snobby and mean like buttercup. which makes her a good leader too bc of her being complex like that and understanding both sisters. but she’s also flawed too bc she can be stuck up and bossy and vain at times but it makes her interesting imo. bubbles is prob my second fav like she’s cute af and relatable too bc she’s super sweet until u cross her and then she’s like scary and dangerous af LOL. (she’s also a huge meme too) i feel like bubbles is everyone’s fav and it seems like bubbles got the most episodes about her and the most screen time but it kind of bothers me that we didn’t get more blossom episodes considering she’s like technically the main one and it feels like bubbles got all the spotlight just bc she’s funnier. but yeah it bothers me when shows focus too much on the comic relief character. buttercup is my least fav and i remember liking her least growing up too LOL but i’ve grown to like her more rewatching the series bc she’s kind of complex too in her own right she’s super aggressive and tomboyish but she has her soft moments too which makes her interesting. but overall i prob enjoy buttercup the least bc she’s just a bitch for no reason most of the time lol. so yeah my ranking of the girls is

1. blossom

2. bubbles

3. buttercup

and then when we’re looking at the villains of the show that’s a whole different story LMAO. i still have a lot of episodes to go to fully form an opinion on this but HIM is def the breakout villain in the show by FAR. ik mojo jojo is considered like the main villain or whatever but HIM is way more intimidating and you’re like oh fuck whenever he shows up. mojo jojo is hardly that threatening he’s honestly more of just a punchline and u always know the girls are gonna take him down right away by just punching him LOL. whenever HIM shows up it feels like there’s way more at stake so imo he’s the real true #1 villain of the show. mojo jojo is basically darth vader while HIM is emperor palpatine. also princess is the most annoying character ever don’t @ me. i’ve always been a nickelodeon hoe and not a CN hoe but powerpuff girls will always be one of my top 5 shows on CN bc the writing and humor and animation and shit is pretty on par with some of Nick’s greatest stuff. also with tom kenny voicing everyone like he does in spongebob too it gives the show that perfect comedic feel to it that’s nostalgic of early 2000s cartoons. i love craig mccracken’s style bc FHFIF is also one of my favs too for similar reasons.

Ranking gen 2 characters bc I’m bored (I base most of my rankings on comedy and am incredibly biased)

Cameron- I have beef with this bitch, I hate him sm it’s not even funny, I was so pissed off when i found out he was in all stars. He makes me physically angry

Sam- he’s cute with Dakota ig but he’s soooo annoying and why tf was he in all stars? Hate him sm, probs smelly, and he’s ugly af

B- he just wasn’t that interesting to me 🤷‍♀️

Mike- I also have personal beef with him, idk what it is abt him but I just don’t like it, but Vito and Svetlana ate

Staci- was only there for like one episode so can’t rlly judge but she was funny

Zoey- she’s just kinda boring, didn’t like her that much

Scott- I actually start liking the characters from this point forwards, he was cool ig and he was pretty funny. He was an alright villain and had his moments

Lightning- I actually love him sm, he was soooo funny, always love a dumb character. He didn’t win in my country but idc he does in my heart

Jo- love the character, hate the design but wtv she was awesome and I wish she lasted longer in all stars. Idk what else to say but I love everything about her

Dawn- thought I would hate her at first but I actually loved her. She’s just such a fun concept and I wish that she lasted longer

Brick- by far the best gen 2 guy, loved him sm and he deserved sm better

Dakota- Yes, yes, and yes, she’s actually perfect and she deserved better in every way shape and form

ANNE MARIA- MY FAV BY FAR. She’s just so funny and I love her concept and she deserves sm more screen time than she got
