Kantokusei and First Year shenanigans!

[disclaimer!: I'm not a writer but I had so much fun imagining their daily life, so I hope you have fun reading this!]

MORNING

The first year usually gathered in the Mirror chamber and waited for the other to arrive.

But this usually depends on their mood... For example if Ace didn't complete his homework he will rush to the classroom first

I headcanon that kantokusei ALWAYS arrived first cause have you seen the distance between ramshackle and the school building?!?

So some morning it will go like this:

"KANTOKUSEIIII!!!!! HAVE YOU COMPLETE CREWEL-SENSEI'S HOMEWORK!!

"ne ne~ kantokusei let me see your answer~ pleaseeee"

Sometimes Epel will have breakfast with Kantokusei too... This usually happens when Vil is extra "naggy" that morning.

On some morning Jack will knock on the ramshackle door and ask if they want to join on his morning jog

I bet they have a chatroom and let me tell you that chatroom is noisy af.

Sometimes they will have breakfast together but Sebek rarely joins because of his "knightly duties".

AFTERNOON

Whoever ends up arriving at the cafeteria first has to guard their place if they all didn't manage to save a seat they just eat outside.

In a rare time Ortho will join and eat together!

They have a specific table to eat so it's easier to find each other.

Sebek rarely joins the first year but sometimes Lilia forces him to spend time with his friends.

Ace: You know... If Malleus is so strong then why do you need to guard him 24 hours

Sebek: YOU FOOL! YOU ABSOLUTE FOOL!! HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT WAKA-SAMA LIKE THAT

Sebek is secretly glad that they still want to have lunch with him

NIGHT

Some day they have club activities, and since Kantokusei is not in any club(is it??) Kantokusei just tags along with anyone to join them (mostly they got dragged to the basketball club... Because... Floyd....)

Kantokusei takes part-time working at Mostro Lounge cause let's be honest, Crowley didn't provide enough money to survive.

If it's on weekends they definitely stay late playing cards or watching movies.(of course after informing their dorm leader)

They will go to Sam's shop to buy some Ice-cream and snacks and if there's someone who has lost some sort of bet or dare, bet they are the one that is paying.

Kantokusei NEVER lost and all of them are secretly salty about it.

Not Deuce, Deuce is amazed with Kantokusei's power .

They bought a projector that can connect to their phone.

Ace: Come on~ Kantokusei will be lonely if we don't visit Ramshackle dorm.

[name] : Absolutely not. Go away, I appreciate a moment of peace and quietness

BONUS

The first year has a list of the scariest students and to avoid them if possible.

Somehow Kantokusei's name is number one in 75% of their list. This is because they saw how Kantokusei deals with all the overblot bullshit and the way Kantokusei casually talks with Malleus.

The first year gang too has learned not to pissed Kantokusei off.

Kantokusei lowkey thinks it's amusing, but if that's what it takes for people to not pick a fight with them, they will gladly maintain that position.

Random 4 am twisted wonderland thoughts cause I can’t sleep:

Music time!

• Floyd would have loooooved the harlem shake trend. He would just blast it in the Monstro lounge and somehow got other servers to join in. Tried to pass it to Azul as a good publicity stunt. It didn’t work. Now half the staff from that night have extra shifts to do.

• Epel has some country folk music playing in his room at all times, till lights out. Its one of the few ways he gets to connect with his "true inner alpha country man energy " (his words). Vil lets him do it as a treat, as long as he does his skincare routine before bed.

• When Ace feels inclined to listen to music, he busts out the dumb classic songs like "Who lets the dogs out" and the "ma-i-a hi, ma-i-a hu, ma-i-a ho, ma-i-a haha" romanian song. Which is fine from time to time but its his only playlist, and also the only music he really listens to. Poor Deuce is going crazy.

• Ok this one is predictable, but Jade listen’s to music made from mushroom frequencies (look it up, its kinda cool if you’re also a nerd). What’s LESS predictable is that he listens to psychedelic rock…when he’s high af from his personal collection of edible mushrooms that he makes himself. He will share, for a price >:)

• On the topic of plants, Jack makes his cacti listen to classic music to make them grow because he saw this info somewhere and thought why not. What he WONT let you know tho, is that before bed, he puts on lullabies to help them go to sleep… NOT BECAUSE HE CARES EMOTIONALLY THAT MUCH FOR THEM SHUT UP.

• Rook loves the Spice Girls and Beyoncé. Listening to empowered women songs makes him feel empowered in turn. The whole aesthetic just screams BEAUTÉ 💯 Bonus: When he goes on a “hunt” and just observes his "pray", he sometimes puts AirPods on and listen to songs that sound way too creepy in the context of what he’s doing. Don’t ask me to provide an example, idk ok?

You can pry the idea of Vil being able to wield a saber out of my cold , dead hands. Is there any REAL reason for him to have known this ? No. but he can afford it and wanted to. So he’s been doing it for years , since he was very young but doesn’t tell anyone. It’s one of his hidden talents. Not just fencing sabres but real ones too. In addition , learning that helps a lot with posture , footwork , and hand eye coordination.

-The low bass notes in Kaller På Deg (pls kill me)

-The melodic start of Dommedagen 2020

-The melody change between the first and second verse in Jeg Vil Ikke Leve (also him lying on the floor in that cage in the MV is a depressive mood)

-Same with Ut Av Mørket

-The amount of detail put on the things you can't even hear in the live version of Fallen Angel (high notes in the chorus, blurred notes in the prechorus, etc. the version without lyrics is pure beauty, someone's gotta appreciate Andreas' songwriting skills)

-The acoustic version of Håper Nissen Har Råd (and his voice sounding extremely cute at the end of the second verse)

-Each and every melody sounding extremely NOT like any American radio-friendly popsong

-The bass in the chorus of Engel Ikke Dra (also just the whole song and the story)

-The lyrics of every sad song this man ever produced

-The drop of Neste Sommer

-The chorus melody of Når Koser Vi Oss

-Ikke Han's high notes at the end, also the "lines in the void" how I like to call them, everything that's sung but not the main melody

he’d just recite different lines from the play you two watched that day and just reenact scenes with you

if you both go the extra mile, you both just reenact the whole play and make it super lovey dovey and adorable

(he would force the other pomefiore students to come watch and honestly you felt like losing your cool but once you met rook’s eyes and saw his burning passion, you didn’t even feel flustered or scared anymore)

so i don’t really know a lot about silver yet but i feel like he’s that type of boy who looks so flat and like a whole kuudere on the outside but he has a soft spot on the inside for animals

like one day you were in the heartslabyul gardens enjoying tea with riddle when all of a sudden ace and deuce come screaming because the hedgehogs ran away

you expected silver to have no reaction but he picked a couple up and he snuggled them close to his chest (and you died at this)

and so you took the initiative to surprise him any chance you get with any small, cute and fluffy animal you can find

of course malleus wouldn’t allow animals in the dorm, so you just borrowed kalim’s many pets to play with for a day or two

so he’d just love to spend time with you and animals, cuz you’re both small and adorable :))

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I THINK SEBEK’S IDEAL DATE WITH YOU IS JUST THE BOTH OF YOU DOING SPORTS TOGETHER

i feel like you’d both be super duper competitive but then once you get tired, you just basically give up

at first sebek teases you of course but then he’d probably be super duper tsundere-like and actually help you and keep up with your pace

i feel like you two would go on morning runs together a lot

when you’re tired (and still drowsy cuz he insists you run at 6-am) he’ll just carry you on his back and you’d actually fall asleep with your hands around his chest

suddenly you’d wake up in his room and he’ll probably tease you a lot, but he really appreciates the fact that you’re able to put up with him and actually go running together

Life with Floyd would be chaotic af. Let’s be honest, the guy has the emotional stability of a student during finals. Except he’s like that. All the time. The man got them mood swings.

Kill: Rook

I both feel bad, but at the same time, I absolutely don’t. To start, let’s talk about his hairstyle. I- how?? How does Vil tolerate it? I sure as heck can’t. (I think it’s the blunt bangs. I think that’s what I hate.) You know that he’s gonna go down with a dramatic monologue as he reaches up towards the sky. Do y’all remember the beginning of Zootopia where Judy had the ketchup bottle and red pieces of fabric and stuff? Yep. If I were to try and kill him, the man would fall to his knees and monologue dramatically about my betrayal and how he never saw it coming. I’d be stuck listening to him ramble on for a good hour or something. He’d probably write a whole stage play about the ordeal once it was all said and done.

-My Boyfriends Meeting My Family (Twisted Edition)-

『Vil Schoenheit』

• Absolutely gets extra gussied up, but doesn’t overkill so he gives off the perfect impression. 2000% in a fancy dress shirt, pants and everything. Shoes are shined, makeup is on point, greeting is practiced, he is ready.

• But as previously mentioned, Vil is in hell. Dad calls him ‘Villy’ and it’s like one of those anime scenes were the character looks composed but the background cracks. He can’t even believe this. He got done up for this?

• Starts off subtly googling “how to break up with your girlfriend’s family but not your girlfriend” and wondering how in hell we’re so different. Also ends up lowkey scared of mom. I may have warned him, but he didn’t expect that. Probably gives the older brother a bit of a side eye at first, because he’s judgy.

• Surprisingly begins to actually enjoy himself a lot more and relax as time goes on. Ends up actually really loving the family, almost enough that he could tolerate ‘Villy’. Dad’s terrible jokes don’t get a pass, at all, BUT he puts up with it for me. By the end of the night, he is approved of and he approves of the family.

• If anyone aside from one of them tries to call him ‘Villy’ though, they’re getting poison in their tea.

• “So how’s it going, Villy- *CHOKING NOISES*” “Only my future in-laws can call me ‘Villy’, potato.”

『Leona Kingscholar』

• Puts some effort into appearances but not much; he knows I love my family but also literally does not care if they like him or not. “Take it or leave it, but I’m gonna date your daughter no matter what” type of attitude. One of the least nervous of the bunch, honestly.

• The family is confused AF when they see the ears and tail. Older brother definitely makes a joke about it, he and Leona proceed to glare at each other. I intially think it’s because of The Joke but it’s actually both of them being stupid protective.

• Actually gets along very well with my mom. Very much respects her, honestly likes her best out of everyone there. Thinks that my dad and brother are fine, but probably gives big brother the unintentional side eye ‘cause he’s the eldest and he has Older Brother Issues. But that’s more him being protective of me than anything.

• Leaves a pretty good impression, mostly on mom though. Family approves, brother is wary. Leona also approves, and is probably really smug about the meeting going well.

『Cater Diamond』

• “What kind of joke is this”

• They literally do not believe us at first when I say I’m dating Cater. They heard me talk so much about lacking feelings that when I come home and say “this is my boyfriend, Cater Diamond” they actually ask if I’m joking. When Cater says I’m not, dad probably tells my brother that he owes him fifty bucks.

• “She was so insistent! Like c’mon, she was insisting with Lucas and her feelings for him literally could not have been more platonic.” “Yeah, but she also didn’t talk about Lucas very much, and she didn’t get a Magicam for that guy. Fifty bucks.” “Bunny, your family was placing bets on us??!!??!”

• They get along well enough, even though they probably find Cater a bit annoying at first and have no idea how I get along with him. Then they see how genuinely loving he is, completely get it, and 2000% approve.

• After that he basically integrates himself into the family. Right before he leaves dad asks when the wedding is. I proceed to shriek for him to shut up, shove Cater out the door and try to book it home while they laugh at us. Cater teases me the entire way back home. In short; it goes very well.

『Trey Clover』

• Trey comes prepared, because he comes bearing gifts. He makes a whole tart for dessert, mom and brother’s allergies in mind, and it’s an amazing one too because he made it. Already leaving a good impression, and his general demeanour is also great help with bonus points. Approved of the second he brought sweets but is still in the judgement process.

• Honestly this ends up the smoothest meeting of them all, Trey wins everybody over. He’s respectful of them and me, doing well, and isn’t overly affectionate at any point during the visit. You’d think he’s known them forever by the end of things, and even offers to help make dinner with my dad.

• ALSO HIGHKEY GETS ALONG WITH DAD BECAUSE THEY CAN TALK ABOUT COOKING

• Ends up a little scared of my mom because that’s just mom, but he knows he’ll be fine. He does his best to treat me well, after all, so he’s in the safe zone. Doesn’t mean she’s not scary tho

• Over all this goes over the best. Man won them over with the tart, what do you expect?

『Dire Crowley』

• “I HAVE BROUGHT YOU A GIFT BECAUSE I AM SO KIND”

• Okay he’s not THAT over the top but the most confusion is faced here. His… odd appearance definitely raises some eyebrows, as does the repeated declarations of how kind and gracious he is, but the family does find him quite likeable. Even though mom sees his mask and is probably thinking “what in the hell?????”

• Gets along absurdly well with dad. It’s an absolute mess of dad jokes, everywhere. The house descends into chaos as a result of terrible dad humour. Everyone is suffering, and I am internally regretting the massive amount of chaos I have brought upon this world by allowing them to cross paths. It’s terrible. Set us free.

• Crowley is genuinely very sweet though, the family approves, brother is probably convinced he’s dumb though. “Bird I didn’t know you were into himbos” “ETHAN SHUT THE HELL UP”

• The family is just… utterly baffled by this man, but he makes me laugh, so he walks away with a stamp of approval.

『Divus Crewel』

• “What the fresh hell is that coat” “Bronwen, love… your family has horrible taste.”

• Brother judges the coat, HARD, and is at odds with Divus all freaking night. He judges so hard, with subtle digs at my brother’s clothes (I’ll be the first to tell you he has some hideous coats) so they basically having a low-key verbal battle. Bro thinks we don’t notice. Everyone notices.

• Divus is internally judging fashion and decoration in the house, but since my parents are nice to him, he doesn’t comment and is rather polite. It’s a little stuffy at first but does go quite well, because of the usual “you make her happy, so regardless of our opinion that’s the most important thing”.

• Once they actually get talking and loosen up it does go a lot better, although he and my brother remain At Odds© the whole time. Eventually it turns into more of a joke than anything serious, although he does low-key threaten to set Divus’ coat on fire if he ever breaks my heart. “I hope you won’t miss that rag you cookies and cream bitch” “WATCH YOUR FUCKING LANGUAGE ETHAN”

• On the way home Divus remarks that he can see why I care for them so much, and he’s glad I have such a supportive family. Overall goes well!

『Rook Hunt』

• Everyone is so, very confused. They can kinda understand French so they hear some of his weird nicknames and are internally bluescreening. They aren’t sure if I brought the right guy home or if this is even real. Why is he so weird, they think, why is this happening, is this real life?????

• Rook, however, is very respectful and comes with a small host gift for them! Also despite his dramatic flair, they can clearly see how dedicated he is and do approve of that. They just… don’t understand him sometimes. Plus the many nicknames and compliments he has for me internally makes them gag. We’re sappy as heck, and it’s the toned down version at the house.

• He loves talking to my dad! They talk about hunting, since dad used to hunt as a kid, and they share stories together. He loves the other childhood stories dad has to tell, and overall they get along great.

• Rooks walks away with confused approval, the family doesn’t understand him at all and thinks he’s a slightly strange, mysterious guy, but they do like him.

『Malleus Draconia』

• Saved the best for last because of course!!!!

• He towers over everyone. Malleus is so tall, he’s taller than my dad, he’s taller than everybody, mom, dad and my brother are making sure he doesn’t hit his horns on the doors because they worry. Malleus is genuinely shocked by how kind they are, but is already loving them because of it. It’s so sweet and adorable!

• Malleus is worried that he’s going to intimidate them, but is surprised that they aren’t at all. Everyone is nice, albeit they’re judging him on the “are you good enough for the baby” kind of way. He laughs a little when they step away, remarking that Sebek would give them a lecture for how they’re acting- but he likes it. They’re not treating him like he’s on some other level, just like he’s a person.

• He probably brings up the fact he’s a literal prince- and a fairy- only when asked, and while everyone is surprised he’s relieved when they keep going as normal afterwards. Even the fact that he’s Maleficent’s actual descendant doesn’t shake them and he’s legit surprised. They’re just like “that’s funky, do you want more tea?”

• It’s a very calm and cheerful evening. He particularly likes my mom, and overall, this probably goes the best. Malleus just completely wins them over, especially with how kind he’s acting towards me, they’re glad that I found somebody I love so much- and who loves me back.

• Walks away with a glowing stamp of approval and wants to come back sometime!

BONUS:

• Malleus happily talks about the “wonderful family” I have once he gets back to see Lilia and the others, talking about the evening. Sebek just about has a stroke over how casually they acted, Silver is taking a nap, and the conversation ends with Lilia wanting to meet them too. Sebek desperately wants to lecture me about them being casual, but also goes “I can’t do it she’s in a relationship with the young master I can’t scold his girlfriend” so he’s internally exploding.

IFA, Berlin – På årets IFA-messe i Berlin, med offisiell åpning 2. september, lanserer Sony nye produkter som representerer det aller beste innenfor kreativitet og teknologisk oppfinnsomhet, og som underbygger Sonys filosofi om «å inspirere, trigge nysgjerrigheten og bringe frem følelser».

Produkter som avdukes på IFA inkluderer:

Xperia smarttelefoner og Xperia smart-produkter

Sony annonserer to nye smarttelefon-modeller: Det første flaggskipet i Xperia X-serien – Xperia XZ, samt Xperia X Compact. Begge er utstyrt med en ny trippel bildesensorteknologi som gir en enda bedre kameraopplevelse. Xperia XZ vil være tilgjengelig fra oktober, mens Xperia X Compact lanseres i september.

Den nye bildesensorteknologien, som gjør det mulig å knipse øyeblikk i alle typer omgivelser i brøkdelen av et sekund, er resultatet av følgende tre teknologier i skjønn forening:

– Bilderegistrering med rask og nøyaktig autofokus (AF) med eksepsjonell objektsporing, takket være vår førsteklasses bildesensor med Predictive Hybrid AF som forutser motivets bevegelser

– Avstandsmåling med Laser AF-sensoren som sørger for rask og nøyaktig autofokus, selv under dårlige lysforhold

– Fargeregistrering via RGBC-IR-sensoren som uavhengig av lysforholdene fanger opp fargene slik du ser dem

De to nye Xperia-modellene kan også skilte med sterkt forbedret videokamerafunksjon, som de første smartmobilene med 5-aksers bildestabilisering. Dette gjør det mulig å ta video som ikke hakker, selv ved zooming på nært hold. I tillegg er smartmobilene utstyrt med funksjoner for automatisk brukertilpasning, slik som Adaptive Charging-teknologien som er utviklet i samarbeid med Qnovo Inc., som forlenger batteriets levetid. Xperia XZ har en 5,2-tommers Full HD-skjerm og ramme i metall som ligger perfekt i hånden. Xperia X Compact har en 4,6-tommers HD-skjerm.

Sony annonserte også at Xperia Ear, et nytt håndfriprodukt som åpner for nye måter å kommunisere på, vil bli tilgjengelig fra og med november – i første omgang i utvalgte markeder. Xperia Ear responderer på talekommandoer med intuitive handlinger, og gjennom trådløs tilkobling til smartmobilen din, gir den deg informasjon og assistanse med en naturlig og autentisk talemåte. Utstyrt med Sony Agent Technology og avstandssensor, kan Xperia Ear blant annet gi deg kalenderinformasjon og andre personliggjorte oppdateringer når du fester den til øret. Sony har ellers vist frem konseptene Xperia Projector og Xperia Agent, i samarbeid med Yahoo Japan og Nestlé Japan, som gir et innblikk i brukeropplevelsene som tilbys med Smart Products.

Lydprodukter

Sony introduserer den nye ’Signature Series’ – en flaggskip-serie som representerer tilnærmingen mellom Sonys analoge- og digitale teknologier som er utviklet over mange år. Serien av Hi-Res-produkter (High Resolution Audio) består av hodetelefonene MDR-Z1R, to nye Walkman®-modeller i WM1-serien (NW-WM1Z og NW-WM1A), samt hodetelefon-forsterkeren TA-ZH1ES.

Sony avduker også de nye trådløse hodetelefonene MDR-1000X med høyoppløst lyd og markedets beste støykansellering. Hodetelefonen er også utstyrt med funksjoner som slipper igjennom naturlig lyd, noe som gjør at du enkelt kan få med deg hva som blir sagt ved å legge en hånd på utsiden av øreklokken – uten å ta av deg hodetelefonene.

I tillegg viser Sony frem en rekke andre lydprodukter på IFA, inkludert et hjemme-stereoanlegg (MHC-GTDW), to trådløse Extra Bass™-hodetelefoner for trening (MDR-XB80BS og MDR-XB50BS) og en ny NW-A30 Hi-Res Walkman-serie med 3,1-tommers touchskjerm.

4K BRAVIA®

Sony Z-serie, den nye flaggskip-serien blant BRAVIA 4K HDR TV-er (som ble annonsert i juli og er tilgjengelig i 100’’/75’’/65’’), er utstyrt med den nyutviklede 4K-bildeprosessoren 4K HDR Processor X1™ Extreme. Det er også den første serien som leveres med den unike Backlight Master Drive-teknologien til Sony – en presisjonsbakbelysningsteknologi som gjør det mulig å utvide lysstyrke og kontrast enda mer for å virkelig å oppnå det fulle potensialet til 4K HDR.

Med 40 prosent større bildeprosessering i sanntid, sammenlignet med Sonys anerkjente 4K Processor X1™, inkluderer X1 Extreme tre nye teknologier: objekt-basert HDR, dobbel database-prosessering og Super Bit Mapping™ 4K HDR.

Sony viser også for første gang frem en prototype av en Ultra HD Blu-ray™-spiller.

Fotoprodukter

Sonys nye FDR-X3000R 4K*3 er det første actionkameraet noensinne med bildestabiliseringsteknologien Balanced Optical SteadyShot. Dermed kan du gjøre stabile opptak også i 4K og ved høyhastighetsfilming. Et nytt vidvinkel ZEISS® Tessar-objektiv leverer mer naturtro bilder med redusert forvrengning. Og med utvalget av tilbehør, inklusive Live-View Remote, får du full kontroll over opptakene, samt av/på-knappen ved fingertuppene.

Sony viser også frem sine siste fotoprodukter på IFA, deriblant α7R II*4, α7S II*4, α6300*4, RX1R II*4 og G Master™ brand FE 85mm F1.4 GM telephoto prime lens*4, som alle fikk utmerkelser på 2016 TIPA Awards og/eller EISA Awards 2016-2017.

Spill- og nettverkstjenester

PlayStation VR (”PS VR”) utvider PlayStation®4-universet (PS4TM), og lar deg bli oppslukt i en 360-graders virtuell verden: Sett på deg VR-hodesettet og få følelsen av å tre inn i spillet. Bildene i den virtuelle verdenen følger dine hodebevegelser naturlig og intuitivt i sanntid.

Future Lab ProgramTM

Sony vil også stille ut ”T” – den andre konsept-prototypen fra selskapets Future Lab ProgramTM som tar sikte på å skape fremtidige livsstiler sammen med brukerne. ”T” bygger på ideen om å gjøre det mer naturlig å få tilgang til informasjon. Den forandrer en bordplate eller enhver annen flate til en interaktiv skjerm som projiserer bilder som reagerer på berøring.
