while playing the masquerade event i was hit with the realization that the students from nrc are quite literally the terrible tourists rollo was talking about. and im almost CERTAIN they've been just as bad every other event. like you have ruggie who was about to steal a shops hard earned money, you have epel and deuce that were saying their bread wasn't special before even trying it, you have ruggie AGAIN saying that the historic toys they make are just chunks of wood and don't have any value. these people suck and should not be permitted to travel. all they're doing is making a nuisance of themselves.

reminder to master chef twst jp players that:

the 20 minute ingredient gathering is the most efficient one, but find the one that matches your schedule

focus on getting sugar, eggs and fruits because they're pretty popular ingredients

use low/medium ingredients to raise skill level, only use high quality ingredients when the recipe is above 50%

try focusing on one recipe at a time

when you're done with the event, use up the rest of your ingredients for 100%, then do the recipes with the fewest ingredients

when nothing else can be made, just keep making black dishes to earn what medals you can

i hope these tips help!!

I MADE A GUIDE for the hard mode of the legend of the underworld minigame on twst!!! :D i'd been stuck on it for MONTHS before a moot let me know that you can move the boat while paused and hiding the menu, and i wanted to share the knowledge for anyone that's also been stuck and suffering from completionist brain!!

the full image is very large, so you'll need to download it to view it, but i've created a map, added notes of how many lanes i move at a time, what manner i move in (regular speed or while paused), etc! both achievements are possible to beat with this route, and i highly recommend taking ur time while moving so u don't lose a good run!

all rock assets can vary from play to play, so the flames are your best landmark along the way! i wish everyone still stuck the very best of luck, if this helps even one person i'll be over the moon <3

hellooo to my friends who have never drawn a sonic character before but like my twst x sonic au 👋

so ive never been good at tutorials, so don’t expect something detailed here, but i CAN offer some tips! but as a general note, the sonic style doesnt have to look like one way, MANY sonic artists stylize them to fit their own style or what’s comfortable for them! so heres my way of drawing them !

first, lets start with something simple, a hedgehog! specifically, i will show you how to draw Riddle since he is one of the easiest (imho) of the designs ive made to draw! to me, the hedgehog is the basis of all characters really, if you know how to draw a hedgehog you can draw other species! i always start off with this general body shape

most male characters will follow this shape, but not all, for the sake of keeping this simple, i wont go into the different shapes. the main shapes that will be your friend while drawing sonic characters will be the circle and cylinders! usually legs and arms are a little longer as well as hands and feet being just a little bigger. these guys (mobians) are small most of them average in height around anything between 3ft to 4ft

this muzzle shape is universal, every species starts from this shape, if they have a beak or a long snout, it will start from this shape! (the nose placement is what will give the illusion of a longer snout) riddle, like sonic, has a mono eye (which basically means it doesnt connect to the muzzle in the center, you can have two eyes just by connecting them to the muzzle)

ive broken down riddles hair/quills into 4 parts, the quills that frame his face are a lot like amys, his back head quills follow a shape similar to shadows, but they arent as long, then are his bangs and the little hairs that form the heart shape

after that just add the clothes to the base body shape and here he is!

fun fact for my non sonic fans: did you know that male mobians aren’t technically allowed to wear pants? canonically they just arent supposed to! i, however, think this rule is DUMB!! so i give them pants

it takes some practice but remember you can stylize them as much as you want!! they dont have to look like the canon style!! just have fun !!

Time Flies

It's been four years since twst came out. In another universe, all of the first years have graduated-- our 2nd years have been in college or pursing adult life for two years, and our 3rd years for three.

In another dimension, they're growing alongside us. We aren't alone, nor will we ever outgrow us, because every thought that we have ever had has spawned a new world within it. We aren't alone. Our most beloved characters, while not real in our world, are living through all the same problems we are in another.

They're scared of the future too, just like we are.

throwing down a rope, you yell at him to hurry in before somebody catches you both.

"what brings you here, trappola."

ace grunts, "so formal... we are literallydating."

“just tell me why you're here before i throw you out the window." the moon shines through the open window, wind blows in.

"i was bored."

…

"okay fine! riddle kicked me out.”

"again?! ace, you need to take more responsibility.”

"riddle can suck my toes for all i care! i'm gonna stay here for the night and there's nothing you can do about it.”

the urge to throw ace out the window was real, however, you gave in, pushing ace onto the bed while pouncing on him.

"S/0?! What's gotten into you?!"

"go to sleep i'm done hearing you."

"so blunt, but anything for my babe."

"oh my seven. do not ever say that again."

"monsieur! i make my arrival!" rook announces as he climbs in through the window.

"why. are you coming here.. at two in the morning.

rook starts poking your face. "to see your beauté of course! why, you look so beautiful at any hour! weather it be day or night, you bless us with-"

"rook, i love you dearly but you know vil will kill both you and i for being up this late?"

rook's eyes went wide as he pursed his lips. finally, he announces, "do not fret, i shall sleep here for the night."

the world was dark, however, rook saw through to your soft blush.

"what will vil do in the morning when you aren't there?"

"i’Il be back before he rises. now lay back down."

“so persistent..” sighing, you flopped onto the bed, rook following behind you.

"no need to be shy! come closer."

"that's so creepy.” you laugh.

rook inches closer, your heartbeat increases.

“i apologize for not being able to be here when you arise." his words can be felt as he breaths into the back of your neck.

"i don't mind; just don't get caught by vil. i want to spend more time with you.”

rook giggled at your word choice. "goodnight, s/o."

rook took a photo of you sleeping when he woke up. (its his new home screen and he actually thinks you look beautiful in it. you don't /j)

2:03 am can be read on the clock. cramming for exams can be so exhausting… you were soon interrupted by a knocking on your window.

you look out to see malleus, crossing his arms with a small bag in his hands.

"malleus?? it's so late why are you here." you said in between yawns.

"i could ask you the same thing. it's not good to stay up late. especially if you're a human." malleus frowned a bit, "i thought you'd be used to me showing up late, no?"

you sighed, "come inside, it's cold out."

he let out a sly smile, “the cold never bothered me anyways."

you somehow felt you heard that line somewhere, but shrugged it off as you opened the window, letting the heir in.

"thank you, i'm simply here to show you some books i thought you may be interested in."

you watched him pull out books. some focusing on briar valley's history and some involving mortal magic.

"we may read them together if you wish; however if you don't like them then i-“

you cut him off immediately, "i love you."

malleus's eyes went wide then he let out a smirk, "i love you too." pulling you into a kiss.
