My brain is just so fucking full help. I can’t sit down and actually write well because I’m too upset from family shit so I’m making this headcanon just in case I can’t get anything done. (Also part of why I’ve been publishing so much old stuff that isn’t on here recently lmao.) Whenever I write headcanons there is a chance I’ll make them into fics so lol

unconventional gender neutral terms of endearment ^^

(mostly made this cause my drafts always have "baby" a million times and then i replace them lol)

- pretty (as in pretty girl/boy, but without the gender word attached) - starlight/my star, sunshine - honestly if you put "my" before anything it could probably work as an endearment - animals: firefly (got the idea from sufjan stevens), bunny, dove, mouse, hamster, hummingbird, penguin, monkey 😭, kitten (this one's kinda popular) - flowers: tulip, rose, sunflower, a flower that's special between your characters - fruits/vegetables: pumpkin, bean, mango, lychee, kiwi, peach, nectarine, apricot, berry(!!), blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, cherry, etc - sweets! a special weakness of mine is sweets from the person saying the endearment's culture. like if someone who was also indian called me their kaju katli i'd melt (but probably not laddu unless it's clear they're teasing and i get back at them 💀). maybe runs the risk of being cringey tho? honestly as long as it's from the sayer's culture and suits their personality it's fine - examples of sweets that don't belong to a certain culture: cookie, brownie - nature: snowflake, raindrop?? (i guess it works if your character has something to do with water), sprout, sapling

and here's some classic gn terms of endearment if your character's more into that: - darling (i see this as a perfect alternative to princess/prince) - love/my love - lovely/beautiful - baby/babe (can be used in both cute and teasing/suggestive moods) - angel (personal favorite of mine!) - dear (it's so "grown old together" vibes, i'm in love with this one for this purpose) - honey, honey pie, sugar, sweet(ie). honestly if they're used for s/os, it feels kinda old-fashioned. but for parent figures saying it to someone much younger that they care about, children or otherwise? (i'm imagining a southern (from america) beekeeper with no children or spouse of her own who sells her famous honey to buy food for the small army of orphaned children that shows up on her front porch every morning for breakfast. and these are the kinds of things she'd call them. perfection.)

Solomon had been right alongside you at the Demon Lord’s Castle when you told Diavolo that you wanted access to hormonal medication in the Devildom. It went much easier than you hoped, but it was still a comfort to have him there. He even held your hand.

You expected his support to stop there, but it didn’t. Solomon waited outside of the office during your consultation with the human doctor Diavolo employed to ensure you and Solomon would have adequate healthcare. When you were cleared for your prescription, Solomon went with you to the pharmacy to pick up your medication and supplies.

The doctor had informed you that the needle for your intramuscular injection would be larger than for subcutaneous ones, but they wanted to start with IM and see how you reacted to it. They also warned that injections would take a bit longer – due to the consistency of the hormones. Unfortunately, they didn’t show you a sample of the needle they prescribed for you.

When you and Solomon got home from the pharmacy, you decided now was as good of a time as any for your first dose. You pulled out your supplies. The syringe needle was intimidating. Despite the doctor having told you how to give yourself the injection at the office, when you stared at the needle that was supposed to go into you – which was, luckily, slightly smaller than the needle used to draw out your medication – suddenly, everything left your mind. The color drained from your face.

“Are you okay?” Solomon asked.

“Yeah.” You tried to sound nonchalant, but you couldn’t cover up the nervousness.

Solomon crossed his arms and let out a soft sigh. He took the bottle from your hands and smiled at you sweetly. “Do you want to change into shorts or just take off your pants?”

You knew what he was suggesting, but the words still flustered you. Besides, it wasn’t every day that a cute sorcerer asked you to take off your pants. That kind of stuff shocks people.

You left him to change into a pair of shorts; maybe next time, if your comfort levels allowed it, you would take your pants off in front of him. You were home, after all.

When you returned, Solomon sat you down on the couch. All your supplies were laid out on the side table. Solomon excused himself to wash his hands. He came back with a Ruri-chan themed bandage. You couldn’t hold back a self-deprecating laugh. This was so embarrassing.

“Are you sure you want to do this for me? I can do it. I just want to double check that I’m doing it right first.” You pulled out your D.D.D. and started to unlock it, but Solomon put his hand over your thigh and squeezed slightly.

“I promise it’s alright. I can do this – I want to do this. The doctor gave me a pamphlet with all the instructions, and I watched multiple instructional videos from nurses, doctors, and people who inject hormones into themselves. Just trust me with this.”

And you did.

Even after weeks of injections, Solomon hadn’t let you down, yet. The only thing that had changed was that you decided it was more comfortable to take your injections in your room. So, every few days, Solomon sat you down in your bed and started the process. By now, you were getting used to it. Sure, the needle was still a little bit intimidating, but you were confident that you could do it yourself if you had to.

“Solomon,” you started as you sat on your bed in your underwear, “I can do it this time.”

“Please,” Solomon stroked your cheek gently, “let me do this for you.”

“But –” you called out to Solomon as he stepped into the bathroom attached to your room to wash his hands. The way he smiled at you when he returned dammed the protest up in your throat. You swallowed it back down. “Alright. Thank you.”

Solomon pulled the cap on the hormones off to the side and set it down. Then, he disinfected it with an alcohol wipe. As he waited for it to dry, Solomon attached the larger needle to the syringe and added some air. He pierced the vial, turned it upside down, injected the air into it, and drew in your exact dose. Something about how intensely he stared at the syringe reminded you of the concentration he held when he was studying or working on an experimental potion – grave and careful. His handsome face was calm as the medication slowly drained, and you couldn’t help but wonder why doing this was so important to him. When he hit the right dosage fill line, Solomon turned to face your gaze. In response to your prodding stare, he gave you an innocent grin that brought heat to your cheeks. Solomon, then, discarded the needle in your sharps bin and secured your injection needle.

By now, Solomon had memorized the area on your thigh that he needed to inject, but as he gently rubbed an alcohol wipe over the spot, you remembered the shyness you had felt the first few times. Solomon had asked you to put your hand at the top of your thigh before he placed his hand just above your knee – locating the middle third and then the outer half. His hands were so warm then.

With the alcohol fully dried, Solomon stretched your skin. He looked up at you and asked, “You know the drill, right?”

“Cough after the countdown,” you affirmed the process. You weren’t sure where Solomon had heard that trick, and it sounded kind of silly when he first asked you to cough, but for some reason, it didn’t really hurt when you tried it. You didn’t know why. Maybe it was just a good distraction or maybe it was a placebo. Either way, you kept with the process.

“Wonderful.” Solomon gave you an approving smile. “Now, 3, 2, 1.”

You coughed as he jabbed the needle straight down. Solomon aspirated the syringe to check for blood, but you were clear. Thank goodness. The only time that happened, Solomon had to get a new needle and you had to go through the process again in a different spot. Solomon slowly pushed the medication in before he pulled the needle out. A speck of blood pooled up at the injection sight, and he cleaned it for you.

“There we are,” Solomon added. He started to gently massage your thigh. Why was he so sweet to you during such mundane moments? Still massaging your leg, Solomon looked up at you and opened his mouth. There was some hesitation – as if he wasn’t sure if he should let the words out. Maybe he was too honest when it came to you because he gave them life. “I’m grateful that love is not some fleeting emotion that withers in your heart. Instead, like this, you inject it with an appropriate dose consistently. It’s coursing through you – a part of you, helping you become the person you are. I don’t want you to ever stop feeling cherished.”

“Solomon.” His name was the only thing that pushed through the initial shock.

“You know, the love you’ve given me has helped me become the person I am now. Let me return the favor.”

“Is that why you’ve been so insistent?”

“I guess so. I just want you to know that you’re loved and cared for every step of the way. It’s sort of intimate, too, isn’t it? I’m proud to be the one who can do this for you.” Solomon’s cheeks burned, and he averted his gaze to your bare thigh. He almost couldn’t believe that he was able to admit that.

“If you could cook without killing me, I would marry you right now,” you muttered to yourself.

“What was that?” Solomon looked up at you quizzically.

“Nothing. Love you. Appreciate you. Stay out of the kitchen, and I’ll love you even more.”

“I think you’d love me more if you’d let me cook for you – if it’s even possible to love me anymore than you do now, right?” Solomon chuckled.

Yandere!Lucifer would soon feel pretty protective over an MC like this, especially because he thinks you're so foolish easily taken advantage of. He would also appreciate how obedient you are, it's so much easier than needing to tell his brothers to do or not do things over and over again. In a sense, he would protect you from things that he would do to you himself: he's not going to let concerned students at RAD take up all of your time because he himself is going to take up all of your time. He's not going to let other people order you around but he certainly is going to order you around. Most importantly, he won't let other people force you to live your life one way or another because you will be living life to his exact specifications.

I think on the other hand that he'd be kind of personally offended by your brand of religiousness. It intrinsically paints him as a bad guy and makes his reasoning out to be unjustified which, even if it weren't a sore spot, contradicts what he likes to believe about himself. I think his real cruelty streak would start to show around how he dismisses your beliefs. The first time you earn yourself a bad punishment from him, he'll be determined to hurt and violate you in ways that you would not have been able to imagine before, shoving toys into you that are way, way too big for only your first time, putting chained clamps on your nipples and tugging them until you are hoarse from screaming, forcing orgasm upon orgasm onto you until you it only hurts, paddling you until you're shaking. You can specify that the mc is gender-neutral and uses they/them pronouns.

I’m not sure if I will add more or not, tbh 🤔 it’s something I’m thinking about. But also something I worry about. I wouldn’t want to do it wrong or badly, etc.

I suppose my biggest current concern is that for the GN MC, for example, I chose to go (at the behest of tumblr anons tbh) in a sort of “people magically know and respect your pronouns” direction and instead of being specific about the experiences and actions and moments it’s as vague and GN as possible to allow for as much headcanon-ing as possible.

And I have recently been thinking that that was perhaps the wrong direction for my game.

After having talked to people who prefer a more specific or even “historically accurate” approach, I did a poll on the forum on what people prefer. And the majority of people who played with GN MCs seemed to be interested in a more specific approach.

And so if I did more trans inclusion for MC, I’d probably want to do it more specifically (example features like choosing masc/fem, separate pronouns, additional bodily features, agab, assumed gender, etc). Partly because it’s what it seems people want, and partly because tbh writing a piece as vague as possible is incredibly dull to implement and usually hinders a lot of emotional impact and can affect all the versions of the text into the written version of grey goo.

But with this addition of scope, the historical aspect, and the minority of users who would absolutely loathe me dabbling in this area in any specificity, it feels like an enormous task. I suppose those are the reasons I hesitate. And so I have no answer right now.

Once I know more, so will you.

Headcanons/notes from the author: I wish I had someone to hug me last night the dysphoria was so bad haha. Hopefully this will reach anyone who needs it❤️

Brief Blurb: MC is feeling extremely dysphoric and can’t sleep, so they seek Asmodeus for comfort.

You were laying in bed, entirely too awake for the time of night it was. Lucifer had already done his rounds and retired to his room by now (or more accurately, his office), meaning you weren’t really supposed to leave your room. The dysphoria plaguing your head and body was getting entirely to painful to bear, though. Slowly, you escaped your blankets and stood up, hugging your pillow pet close to your chest.

Padding down the hallway, you found yourself at Asmodeus’ door. Despite his sleeping schedule being very important to him, you knew he wouldn’t mind being woken up so long as it was for you. Not knocking first, you entered the room and gently shut the door behind yourself. Once you sat on the edge of his bed, Asmodeus stirred. “Asmo?” you whispered, not wanting to scare him.

Being the light sleeper he is, Asmodeus peered at you. A fond smile instantly spread across his face. “_____, what is it?”

“I’m… feeling pretty gross right now…” you told him softly. “May I lay with you?”

Asmodeus instantly shuffled himself away to make some room, then gently tugged on your arm. “Of course, hon.”

You burrowed underneath his plush blankets and snuggled close to him. He wrapped his arms around you in the best position he could, then inhaled your scent and ran the back of his fingers down your cheek. It soothed your mind a bit, masking the poison in your chest and calming your twisting stomach. “I’m sorry, it just got physically painful…”

“I promise I don’t mind,” Asmodeus muttered. He hushed you and kissed your temple. “I’m here for you. Don’t be sorry.”

The two of you laid there, the sound of breathing being the only disturbance of silence. You could feel exhaustion taking over, and nuzzled your face closer to the crook of his neck. “I’m sleepy…”

“Then sleep,” he murmured. “I’ll protect you from all those awful dysphoric thoughts…” You hummed in response, then closed your eyes and listened to his heartbeat. It was comforting, and eventually the steady thumps accompanied by his ministrations lulled you into sleep.

You play as a Divine, a child of a blessed line. Ancient blood runs through your veins, granting you mastery over life and death. Trained from a young age to slay the supernatural, you’ve often found yourself wondering if there’s more to life than the hand that you’ve been dealt.

Fortunately, most creatures are few and far between these days, and you, the ever reluctant destroyer, have finally been granted the chance to finish your physics doctorate at the university of Aloiswick, a town in the middle of nowhere, Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Although he already knows a lot about the subject he’s always reading up on the subject because it intrigues him

Asmo was ECSTATIC when you told him

He was probably the only brother to make a big deal out of it tbh

He’s already giving you makeovers based on your preference, he can make you look femme or masc, whatever you want

He takes you out to get a new wardrobe the moment you tell him

If someone misgenders you accidentally he’ll correct them passive aggressively

“For someone that claims to know MC you don’t seem to know their right pronouns, maybe pay more attention, hon.”

But if it’s on purpose he’ll tear that demon’s confidence down to the ground, like if that demon thought highly of themselves they definitely don’t when Asmo’s done

He also buys you pride merch but it’s not cringy like Mammon’s dw

Asmo will never let you feel dysphoric, the moment he suspects something you’re bombarded with compliments and the two of you are having a spa day

☆ Beel

Poor Beel nearly choked on his food when you randomly told him-

He looked at you shocked, smiled and then gave you some food

“You’re trans? Mhm thanks for trusting me enough to tell me. Here have some food you look tense.”

He already knows about the lgbtq so no explanation was needed

He won’t tell the brothers if you’re not ready, but he’s ready to be there for emotional support when you are

Most demons think that Beel won’t do anything about you being misgendered because he’s chill but they’re so wrong 💀

Beel gets pissed if someone misgenders you

If a demon is blatantly being transphobic to you Beel’s chill demeanor does a complete flip

He was just munching a second ago and now he’s standing right beside you glaring at the demon, menacingly

“It’ll be better for you if you apologize to MC, I don’t wanna hurt anyone…well in front of MC at least.”

He likes to make you food when you’re feeling dysphoric because “delicious food can make anyone feel better”

☆ Belphie

When you first told him he was half awake so he murmured something and went to sleep

“Huh? Oh..good for you, come lay with me.”

So when you told him again when he was actually awake he gave a better? response

“Ok? That doesn’t change the way I feel about you..now let’s take a nap”

Out of all of the brothers his reaction is the most nonchalant

That’s not to say that he doesn’t care, he loved that you trusted him enough to tell him

He just doesn’t want to make you feel weird by acting differently because you’re trans

He would actually kill anyone who misgenders you, he doesn’t care who it is

You’d have to rip Belphie off of the demon to get him to stop

He’d just stare at you innocently before saying that “they should’ve thought before they spoke, so it wasn’t my fault”

You probably don’t wanna go to Belphie if you feel dysphoric cause most likely he’s sleeping

But if he finds out he’ll play with your hair, eventually falling asleep
