Honor Bound Chapter 5 update!
I’m pleased to share Honor Bound Chapter 5 today, on dashingdon and itchio! There are some minor changes and fixes here and there earlier, but you can skip to the start of Chapter 5 if you’d like.
If you have the time and energy, I always love to hear what you think, whether here or on the anonymous form - I read everything that comes through and often make edits to the demo and to later chapters based on player feedback as it’s incredibly helpful to hear how people are finding the choices and characters.
The demo is now around 227,000 words - just over 50,000 words added! Things you may encounter in this chapter:
drama among students, town, and families
locking gazes over a desk
holding someone’s hand very intensely
kisses, if you want them
a road trip
some really nice food
a breakup, if you play your cards right (or wrong)

The … ball dress up code is a lot to put from my notes into the game…
For example what ur seeing there is about half of one colour’s code. Then, out of 4. Then, for each style. Then for both dress/suits. + 3*2 unique looks beyond this.

Are there any RO's that we can dom? Or that won't want to dom the MC? I'm not going to romance Lestarde anymore, so...
Because L can dom? They are a switch, maybe I should have clarified that in that post. But yeah, they have always been that; I've said it a few times here, I think. All ROs are except maybe H. But even then, on one of the dynamics, I feel like you can find a balance/compromise.
But yeh:
L: Switch with a small Dom lean.
W: Switch with a small Sub lean.
A: Anything u want. Anything...
H: Dom, with a little grey area for the simp dynamic I usually refer to as "the power couple".

I just released another monthly smut, thus increasing the smut backlog in size. This month's interactive smut and the backlog are available on my Patreon for patrons in Outraged Fox tier (and up). Now, the backlog includes:
June 2023: Kinda toxic smut with Marcus in a cave
July: Quinn wakes you up from a nightmare and is pretty weird about it

Hey, just saw your post in which you mention that a L will be tender and loving towards a friendly MC, but I was wondering if, in any hypothetical steamy scenes, we'll be able to have L show a bit of dominance and be a bit rough even if we're friendly with him? Or would that be exclusive to a bickering MC?
Hmm 🤔 good question.
And the answer is, technically, I don’t know? Yet. There is one such scene planned where only if you push them do u get that kind of sex scene (I assume we’re taking sex scenes btw, if not then tbh L kinda already is kinda rough to friendly mc in ch5 😂).
For later on, when there’s a sex scene for everyone… I would like to? But I do think it might not be quite as rough as teasing/bickering dynamic. Simply because of how L is and feels. They just won’t… hmm. They consider it breaking? That they sort of break. Rather than being like “let’s put on my sexy bossy pants”… (it’s late ignore my phrasing it’s the best I’ve got.)
So! Hopefully! I’d expect some dommy stuff at least 🙏😌✨
Edit: u know there’s actually a sort of fade to black lestrade minigame on patreon with this. Mc can be soft and still gets… uh… ⛓️💥 (this is the closest emoji). Tho mc is like… atleast 15% bratty in that one as default for “plot” reasons…

Will there be text flavor to a Sherlock who dresses plainly in everyday life then choosing to dress formally/fancily/delicately, both from Sherlock's POV (them not being used to such style) and from other people's POV (people thinking Sherlock looks much better, expressing surprise at their choice etc.)?
There’s a lot of flavour texts with different things. Like, a lot. But I can say some of these will happen, but I can’t necessarily promise all will. We shall see 👀✨

I can't believe I haven't stumbled across your IF earlier- it is SO good. I love love LOVE being able to torment Watson and Lestrade with plausible deniability romance, it is MWAH MWAH my favvvvorite romance trope! And the whole business of being self-destructive and little bits of flavor text will pop up about it (Mrs Hudson, my attic experiments nooo...), and it's all so delicious???? SUBLIME!
