when will people learn that live-action remakes will never be good as their original animated counterparts because the glory of animation is the colour, movement, and fantasy that's just untranslateable to live-action
#the WHOLE POINT of animation is that its NOT live-action#because if it's not live-action then it's not held back by realism#like. mcu costumes don't look the same as their comic counterparts because yes they would look silly!#and mind you the mcu will run too far with that but point being that you use the different mediums of art for different reasons#spiderverse would suck if it was live-action#i haven't watched the live-action atla and i'm not going to for several reasons#avatar the last airbender#winx club#riverdale#the lion king#disney remakes

It's my TEN YEAR Loki-versary!
November 2013 was my first outing in my first Loki, going into Boston to see the "midnight" showing of Thor: The Dark World with my friends. I had spent the previous few months working on everything new to me: first armour, first leatherwork, first costume of this complexity. Turns out it was only the beginning!
Over the past ten years, I have made or modified 11 Loki costumes (and I'm working on #12). I've done screen accurate builds, original designs, and obscure concept art that never made it into the films. I've taught myself so many new skills because of these costumes (and my grand total for clamping on zipper stops is well over 10,000). I've met Tom Hiddleston twice in full cosplay, for which I am forever grateful, and more than that, I've made some of my closest friends because I fell down the Loki rabbit-hole.

Condensing the Loki journey into a limited number of pics for the purpose of this post was almost impossible; but I've shared some of my favourites here, and you all KNOW I love to answer questions about these.
Whether you're fairly new here or you've stuck around since those early MCU days, thank you, seriously. Being able to share my slightly ridiculous Loki-obsessed journey has been amazing, and I promise there is more in the future!

Peter looks away from the screen. "Yeah, why?"
"I was wondering if I could.... You know.... Wear your Spiderman costume?"
"You want to dress up like Spiderman?" Peter asked.
"Yeah. Spiderman is a very popular costume right now. I mean I might have to fix the part in the ass ,since you have a bubble butt, but.... can I?" Y/N begs.
Peter blushed. Why did everyone think he had a peachy bubble butt? Everyone knows that makes you a bottom, and Peter Benjamin Parker wasn't a bottom. At least, that's what he likes to tell himself. "Sure, but I only think it's fair I get to wear your Scarlet witch costume too."
