This is a very good ask I don’t think I’ve ever actually told anyone why I like Yunobo so much

Preemptive spoiler alert for both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom by the way

(Also this turned into a bit of a character analysis on Yunobo I’m so sorry it’s so ridiculously long lmao)

Personally my favorite Zelda “race” or whatever has always been gorons, huge fellas who mine rocks and eat rocks and are rocks, just big ol walking boulders with kind souls, I think they’re very silly and cute. But I really like Yunobo because he’s not really like any of the other gorons (He’s not like other girls!!), because he’s so much more… emotional? I guess? In each of the Goron race’s appearances throughout the Zelda games they’re portrayed pretty much the same way, either tough and brave and heroic (Like Darunia, Daruk and Darmani), or chill and generally nonchalant (Like… pretty much every other goron). Though they are kind and playful, they’re also tough and unmoving as stone. Yunobo (on a surface level), is neither of these things. When you first meet him in BotW he runs and yelps in fear, and a great portion of the fan base calls him a coward because of this. He’s very unsure of himself, and unsure of a lot of things in general. In the artbook “Creating a Champion”, his description is as follows:

“Yunobo is the grandchild of the Champion Daruk. He has an adult body but still has some growing up to do. He is easily frightened by monsters and isn't exactly what one might call brave, but, driven by thoughts of protecting his people, he gathers enough courage to aid Link in quelling the Divine Beast Vah Rudania. He is earnest and naive, readily believing nearly anything anyone tells him.”

So yeah. He’s a scaredy-cat. He’s a pushover. He’s incredibly naive and a bit childish.

AND YET.

He helped save his people, and the entirety of Hyrule… TWICE. Because he is brave. Bravery is not an immediate heroic desire to face any danger for the sake of the greater good.

It is action in spite of fear.

He is afraid. He’s unsure, and he’s flighty, and he’s defensive. But he swallows these fears and chooses to act in spite of them, helping link to take back control of Vah Rudania, and saving his people. For me, seeing the journey Yunobo takes to find his courage is a lot more satisfying than if he were just already a brave go-getter from the moment you meet him.

And then things get even more interesting in the second game (again, spoilers for TotK ahead).

After he helps Link take back Vah Rudania and Calamity Ganon is defeated, Yunobo goes right to helping his people recover from the the post-calamity craziness. He’s incredibly devoted to them. He’s a helper through and through, willing to do anything it takes for the sake of others. His loyalty knows absolutely no bounds. But unfortunately, this can get the better of him.

Like when his good friend “Zelda” shows up and gives him some weird mask and tells him to put it on.

Honestly, when I saw Yunobo for the first time in TotK, I was one of the many people who was terrified that Nintendo might have made him an asshole for no reason. I mean, they gave Sidon a wife so people would stop shipping him with Link, I wouldn’t put it past them (totally backfired though lol, now they’re just a polycule).

But instead they had actually put him into one of my favorite character tropes: self-conscious but good-natured character easily susceptible to corruption (See: Luigi [SPM], Bolin [TLoK], Locksley [AS:TNC] -they’re all also green for some reason? Crazy). I really like this particular trope because it shows the very real (and frankly scary) way that those with the best intentions can most easily be led astray. As someone who’s kinda struggled with having a people-pleaser personality (incredibly susceptible to peer-pressure, neglecting my own needs over the needs of others, not able to set boundaries, etc), this trope is a relatable cautionary tale for me. Those who just want to help more often than not end up helping those with bad intentions without realizing.

Buuuuut I won’t go too far into all that (it’ll get sad fast eugh)

My main point is that Yunobo is brave, kind, and loyal (even to a fault), and for me that’s a wonderful formula for a character as nervous and dopey as him. Yeah he’s got rocks for brains, but he’s got a heart as big as a lynel’s. I don’t throw this term around liberally but I would say he could definitely count as a himbo.

Ugggghhh this is getting too long ffs. I’ll just list a couple more reasons why he’s important to me specifically.

He is… very large. Ahem. I like big fellas. You know how it is. ANYWAY

He’s a bit dopey but he’s definitely not incompetent. He’s the president of a highly successful mining company and he’s helped save Goron City (and the entirety of Hyrule) TWICE. That’s pretty cool. I’ve seen a lot of people shit on him in the first game for “always getting spotted by the drones” but like. Dude that’s your fault. He told you he would come when called and stop when told to, it’s on you if he walks into a searchlight.

He’s got very intriguing lore (to me at least), that leaves a lot of room for speculation. Like, he’s the “grandson” of Daruk, but how does that work?? Gorons are born from the mountain itself, they don’t give birth. There’s a pair of Gorons in TotK that call themselves “brothers” (still a bit confusing since most gorons throughout the series call each other brother anyway), but they explain it was because they were born in the same cave at the same time, so they’re like family. Does this mean Yunobo was just born in the same cave Daruk was, and therefore inherited his “genes” and his magical abilities? Maybe! Maybe it’s a really cool special cave, right at the summit or something, where his whole lineage was born all the way back to the first sage of fire. Cool stuff to think about!

He’s not the leader of his people, in either game. That job belongs to Bludo. In the second game he’s definitely got a lot more influence and does occupy a position of leadership, but he’s not the chief. He’s just some Goron. The role of aiding link in both games is thrust onto him entirely because of his lineage. But he takes responsibility for it. He understands the power he holds, both as a champion’s descendant and as the Sage of Fire, and he steps up to the role. He feels a responsibility to his people and his city, even despite not being its official leader like the other champion’s descendants. That’s pretty cool.

He’s very sweet! I’ve talked about how kind and caring he is already but there’s a difference between doing it with a stoic sense of heroism or duty, and doing it with a big dopey grin and a genuine care for those he cares about. He’s often unsure and self-conscious, and yet he’s surprisingly optimistic about most things a lot of the time. He has a big smile (most gorons do), but he has an absolutely heart-melting laugh. I often tear up during the cutscene in which he sees the spirit of Daruk reclaiming Vah Rudania, him laughing and waving with such genuine joy and excitement, aghhhh it’s too much. Joe Hernandez certainly did a great job putting authenticity into Yunobo’s (and Daruk’s) emotions, this cutscene especially.

He has the best secret stone ability (gameplay wise). You cannot change my mind. Tulin is great for mobility and the other two are fine for tactical combat stuff, but none of them even come close to the versatility and power of Yunobo. Don’t have any good rock-breaking weapons and don’t want to use up bombs or zonai devices? Yunobo! Using a control stick-operated machine and can’t pull out your bow to snipe that pesky aerocuda? Yunobo! Wanna separate a big group of enemies from each other without wasting bombs? Yunobo! And don’t even get me started on the fact that when he’s on a vehicle, he’s got zero cooldown. You can hop on a hoverboard and decimate a molduga just by dribbling Yunobo on its head like a basketball.

All this being said I certainly think Yunobo is too often overlooked by fans for “being a coward”, or just… being a Goron? Gorons in general have often been a bit neglected in favor of the other more serious, conventionally attractive and *cough* slimmer *cough* Zelda races. It’s a bit disheartening seeing the amount of fan artists who don’t even have a clue how to approach drawing Yunobo or Daruk, simply because they don’t know how to draw bulky, fat or muscled characters. But I won’t preach too much on the subject, haha.

Long story short, I love Yunobo a whole lot and I’d love to give him a big hug and a smooch. That’s about it :))))

a/n: i don't have any tattoos and likely never will have any, but i can pretend that i know what getting one feels like

“C’mon, scaredy cat,” Corey teased as he tried to pull her through the door of the tattoo shop. “You paid for the session, you’ve gotta go.”

“I dunno, I just don’t want it to hurt too much,” she said and dug her heels into the concrete sidewalk. “You know I’m not that good with pain.”

He let go of the door and it closed slowly as he took both of her hands in his. His thumbs stroked her knuckles tenderly in an attempt to soothe her frayed nerves.

“Listen, I know it’s scary for you and you’ve never done this before, but I want you to know something,” he said softly.

“What’s that?”

“You’re a huge fucking baby and your ass is getting in that shop.”

“Corey!” she whined. “That doesn’t help.”

“Okay, okay,” he laughed and pulled her into a hug. “You’re not a baby, but you said you would do this and I don’t want you to chicken out.”

She took a deep breath in to calm herself and squared her shoulders before letting it out slowly.

“Promise me it won’t hurt that much,” she said, trying to stop her lip from quivering.

“I can’t promise that, honey,” Corey said as he stroked her head. “It’s probably not gonna hurt as much as anything I’ve had done.”

Her eyes trailed over his inked skin, starting at the kanji on his neck and moving down his arms, observing each colourful piece of artwork that had become a part of him. She’d never seen him without him and thought tattoos weren’t really her thing before they’d met, but now she thought that they made him more attractive.

“You ready?” he asked softly when she lifted her head from his shoulder.

“Yeah, I’m ready.”

Once they were in the shop and she’d sat down her nerves had returned but not as strong as before. Corey sat behind her on the bench, rubbing his hands over her shoulders and down her arms as he talked to her, making sure she was okay.

“Did you get enough to eat before we came here?” he asked, his voice soft in her ear. “How about enough water?”

“I’m fine,” she said as she watched the tattooist place the stencil on her wrist. “You’re acting like a worried mother. Just twenty minutes ago you were all ‘get your ass in that chair you big baby’.”

“Because you wouldn’t come in and were gonna chicken out,” Corey said with a laugh, circling his arms around her waist and squeezing her lightly. “I just wanna make sure you’re okay so you don’t pass out or anything.”

The tattooist peeled the stencil off her skin and was starting to prepare the ink and needle, giving her enough time to slightly turn around and softly peck Corey on the cheek.

“I’ll be fine,” she said. “I’ve got you here so I know I’ll be okay.”

A gloved hand on her palm brought her attention back to the tattooist, needle ready in their hand.

“Are we ready?” they asked, their voice muffled by the surgical mask on their face.

“Ready,” she said as she relaxed against Corey’s chest. 

He tenderly kissed the top of her head before resting it on her shoulder to watch her get inked.

“First stroke’s gonna hurt the most,” he said. “Just try to breathe through it.”

He wasn’t kidding.

Her body stiffened against his as the needle pushed into the sensitive skin of her wrist, igniting every nerve there as it skirted over the tendons and bones. She immediately grit her teeth and pushed her lips together to stop from crying out, a single whine escaping from her throat as she exhaled sharply through her nose.

“You’re okay,” Corey soothed in her ear as he squeezed her reassuringly. “You’re doing great, just keep toughing it out.”

The feeling of the tattooist wiping a cloth over her wrist soothed the worst of the pain and gave her a break to catch her breath before they started again, the hot pain replaced with a warm tingling sensation as the needle continued to deposit ink in her skin.

“It’s not so bad now,” she said, her eye twitching as another nerve was hit. “You were right, the first part was the worst.”

“Told you,” he said. “Wrist’s a pretty sensitive place so you’re pretty brave for a first-timer.”

“Maybe I’ll work my way up to being as tatted as you are,” she said and brought her free hand up to stroke his hair.

“That’s you all done,” the tattooist said after twenty minutes.

It was strange to not hear the constant buzzing of the tattoo needle anymore but she was glad it was over. Her wrist was swollen from the contact and she thought she could still feel her bones vibrating as it was wiped clean for the last time.

“Lemme have a look,” Corey said from behind her.

She gingerly lifted her arm, numb from having to stay still for so long, so he could see the new ink. A looping infinity symbol had been etched into her skin, the lines bolder on one side than the other.

“Hey, we almost match,” Corey said as he angled her hand around, trying to keep his fingers away from her raw skin.

“Yeah, we do,” she said and drew her arm away so she could turn around to face him. “I wanted to get something for you.”

“You didn’t need to get something for me, you could have gotten something for yourself.”

“But I did get something for me by getting something for you.”

“Well, thank you,” he said and pulled her in for a hug. “I like it, it suits you.”

“Now you’ve gotta get something for me,” she said as she sat up to let the tattooist wrap her wrist.

“Anything you want, honey,” he said with a grin. “As long as it’s not really stupid.”

Finch for the character ask game?

I'm not incredibly familiar with him outside of fanon but I still have thoughts

One aspect about them I love:

He's witty and likes poking fun at the other newsies, but knows how to stay strictly on the side of teasing whereas some of the others tend to venture slightly into making fun of

One aspect I wish more people understood about them:

He tries to act all brave and tough but deep down man is a scaredy cat and all talk. He will stay out of trouble for the most part (i.e. "I ain't scared of no turf, but... Spot Conlon...")

Headcannons I have about them:

Modern Finch definitely plays guitar but he isn't one of those guys who plays it at any given moment. Most of his friends don't even know he plays.

He tends to keep a level head and knows how to be sympathetic towards his friends. If anyone in the lodging house is upset for any reason, most of them tend to come to Finch for a shoulder to lean on

He likes dogs, fight me. Especially big ones.

He got his name because he used to fire his slingshot at pigeons just to see if he could hit them down (he never could) and the one and only time he managed to get one, it turned out to not be a pigeon at all, but a finch. He cried about it.

One character I love seeing them interact with:

Crutchie. I didn't get a chance to see uksies myself, but I've seen little clips and some other people's notes and I'm so in love with them

One character I wish they'd interact more with:

Race!!! They have that little interaction just before KoNY (F: why do old people talk? R: to prove they's still alive) and I just think their humor is so similar but different enough to work so so well together !!!

Headcannons I have involving them and other characters:

Sometimes the newsies will just be chilling around in the lodging house and someone will say something about another newsie and it'll just turn into Finch and Race going back and forth roasting the same poor soul

After Crutchie gets back from the refuge, Finch moves from his top bunk to a bottom bunk so Crutchie can stay with him and not worry about getting up or down a ladder (whether it be to a top bunk or to the pent house)

Finch and Albert like to go on walks around the city whenever they have some spare time. It usually ends with them just messing around and more often than not they both return with some new bruises and wide smiles. No one ever knows where the bruises come from, but they can guess it probably has something to do with the new dents in the nearest overpriced food stand and Finch's pebble supply being smaller than it was before they left

Modern Finch and Crutchie go on milkshake dates at least once a month, regardless of if they're dating or not

oc questions 1) achille looks big and tough, but he's a scaredy cat when it comes to anything dealing with bugs, all saint's wake, or voidsent. it's ironic that patroclus is his partner because patroclus has a keen interest in all 3 subjects. achille starts sweating whenever he's nearby patroclus' bug collection (patroclus thinks big beetles are cute), he'll scream and hide if someone (paris & evander) spooks him, and he's absolutely terrified of kirke and yves. yves is basically harmless at this point so he won't bother achille, but kirke knows that achille is scared of her, and she will make fun of him for it by suggesting how many ways she can turn him into a sentient cube just to watch him squirm

2) speaking of yves, him and hector share a sweet relationship with each other. before kirke came into the picture, yves was protective of hector when they first met years ago. so when hector finally returned from halmarut's clutches, yves wouldn't leave his side for one moment. he acted like a silent guard dog during hector's rehabilitation, forever on watch and ready to protect hector with his life. yves may look menacing, but he's very much a gentle giant when it comes to hector

Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on the characters in death mark and do you have any headcanons for them?

Imma keep it to my faves cause there are so many! (Even then it’s hard I love a lot of them)

Mashita is a very fun gruff character and personally I totally believe he has a soft side for not only Yashiki but the kids too. Would totally complain about Moe hanging around but would get antsy and twice as grumpy with worry if she disappeared. He very much seems to be the I only care about a few people but I’d do anything for my people.

Believe it or not I think Daimon is so underrated! Is that personal bias? Of course! I love characters who look so tired and worn out they could pass out on the spot, it speaks to me. He definitely tries to get healthier too and I love that for him! Still be ‘do as I say not as I do vibes.’ Honestly would have loved more screen time with the doctor. He gives the vibes of someone who likes animals to but like has a minor cat allergy that will Not stop him.

Moe is very sweet!! Her vibes definitely help brighten up the game but she isn’t out of place. Love to think she gets along very well with Shou and if she met him I bet she could be good friends with the Akira trio.

Yashiki- love him! Again I love tired looking characters so a huge fav. He will never lock that door I’m sorry Mashita.

Shou- honestly took a bit to grow on me but I’m a fan now! Tough guy but actually a scaredy-cat is pretty classic. Definitely would try to be a big brother figure to anyone. He acts like he doesn’t but he wants to be so bad.

Yasuoka- I liked her a lot actually! I wasn’t a huge fan of Ai but Yasuoka? Love her! She’s probably so nosey but in that subtle way of older ladies.

Horror movie night

It's the dead of night but I've been slapped in the face with a new idea~!

Ok so like...horror movies:

I think it should be factual that Tsukasa is easily terrified of them, especially if there are gross/weird monsters involved

Akito tries to act all tough but also gets easily scared SKAKSJAKSJ

Rui seems like the kind of person that would laugh at all the gore (unless an animal gets killed, then he gets upset ;( )

And Toya is very indifferent about it, might fall asleep while watching tbh

The boys had arranged a horror movie night over at Tsukasa's house (curtesy of Rui). The four of them got snuggled up on the couch, the movie up and running. Things were going smoothly...for like the first five minutes. It wasn't long until Tsukasa and Akito started tensing up at the slightest eerie sounds in the movie. Rui being the 'lil shit he is easily noticed and decided to have some fun with them.

"Careful Tsukasa, or the monster might getcha~" he teased as he playfully wiggled his fingers towards the blonde.

"S-shut up Rui..." Tsukasa's cheeks flushed a bit, but he tried his best to keep his attention focused on the movie. Unluckily for him, there was a big jumpscare, which startled him and Akito pretty badly. "AHH!" Tsukasa screamed as if he was the one getting murdered, while Akito jumped out of his seat like a scaredy cat.

"Hm? Akito, are you scared?" Toya asked genuinly, but Akito couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"N-no! I'm not like Tsukasa...!" he huffed and crossed his arms, a noticeable blush forming across his cheeks. Toya decided not to press further and they all went back to watching the movie silently...for a bit at least.

As the music started to get more intense, Tsukasa and Akito braced for impact for the upcoming jumpscare.

"...boo!" yelled out Rui suddenly as he poked Tsukasa on either side.

"GyaHA-! R-Rui you jeheHErk! Nahahaha!" before Tsukasa could even protest, his silly boyfriend started playfully tickling his sides up and down.

"Tsukasa you have to stay quiet or the monster will getcha~" Rui giggled as he kept tormenting Tsukasa's sensitive sides, occassionally spidering at his tummy.

"PFFT! AHAHAHAHA! NAHAT THEHEHERE!".

"Oi, keep it down over there!" said Akito annoyedly.

"Oya? Do you also want a visit from the tickle monster~?" Rui directed his attention towards the redhead, wiggling his fingers at him. Akito quickly blushed and scooted away from him. Rui giggled in response and directed his attention back to the movie, with a tickled out Tsukasa snuggled into his side. Akito let out a sigh of relief and went back to watching the movie. Not too long after he was caught off guard by another jumpscare.

"GAH-!" he let out a startled gasp and glued his hands on his face, wanting to cover his eyes. Toya looked over at him and couldn't help but smile fondly at him.

"Akito, you can uncover your face now. The scary scene is over" Toya tried his best to reassure him but silly Akito shook his head, keeping his stubborn hands on his face. Toya couldn't help but giggle at how cute he was being.

"C'mon, bring your hands down" feeling a bit teasy, Toya snuck a few wiggly fingers under his arm.

"GYA-! T-TOHOHOYA NAHAHAHA!" Akito wheezed in laughter as he clamped his arm down, while keeping his other hand over his face for some reason, he was very stubborn okay??

"Hm? Are we tickling Akito now~?" Rui smirked as he watched the scene unfold.

"He won't uncover his face, why don't you help me out?".

"NOHOHO! DON'T YOU DAHAHARE!".

They both giggled at his outburst. Rui gladly accepted the invitation and playfully tickled under his other arm.

"PFFT! AHAHAHAHAHA!" he bursted out in the most bubbly, uncontrollable laughter imaginable. He clamped both arms down as his face turned bright red and his eyes got all watery.

"There's that pretty face~!" Rui cheered out as he stopped the tickling and peppered kisses all over his cheek, Toya doing the same on the other side.

"St-stahahap thahat!" Akito giggled all cutely as he tried to push them both off of him. Rui and Toya giggled along with him and finally gave him room to breathe, going back to the movie as if nothing had happened. Akito took deep breaths and tried his best to watch the movie, trying not to get flustered by what just happened.

A few moments of peace passed by with no interruptions, until Akito heard some soft snores coming from none other than Toya. Looks like he had dosed off. Feeling a bit mischevious and revengeful, Akito softly wiggled his fingers across Toya's tummy.

"...hehehe!" soft giggles spilled out of Toya's lips. He twisted and turned but remained asleep through the soft tickles, it honestly felt quite relaxing if you asked him. But of course that wasn't enough for Akito, he poked Toya's navel and...

"GAH-!" his eyes shot wide open as he quickly covered his tummy. His cheeks flushed as he looked over at Akito's mischevious smirk.

"That's what you get for tickling me earlier!" being the immature person he is, Akito stuck his tongue out playfully at Toya as he softly scribbled at his tummy some more.

"Ihihim sohohorry! Ehehehehe!" Toya threw his head back as he tried to gently swat away his boyfriend's hand. Akito chuckled and stopped his torment, he was too pure for this world.

"Hehehe...! A-are you gohonna get back at Rui as wehell?!".

"Oh you know it" Akito smirked, looking mischeviously over at Rui who wad unaware of his plan. While the purple guy was busy watching the movie, he suddenly felt a tickly feeling going up his side.

"Pfft-! Hehehehehe! A-Akitohoho! What are you dohohoing?!" Rui bursted out into soft, cute giggles as he glued his elbows down his sides.

"Getting revenge of course~" Akito teased as he tickled up to his ribs, causing Rui's laughter to raise in octave. Tsukasa perked his head up, he smiled at the scene unfolding and decided to have some fun. Plus, he did feel a bit revengeful from earlier.

"Aww, is Rui a wee bit ticklish~?" Tsukasa teased as he softly scribbled at his other side.

"Gyah! Hahahahahaha!" Rui's face instantly flushed at the teasing, easily getting lost in all his laughter.

"Y'know, you got our bad spots, so it's only fair we get yours~" teased Akito as he wormed his fingers up into Rui's armpit, Tsukasa doing the same on the other side.

"PFFT! AHAHAHAHA! NAHAHAHAHA!" Rui squealed and cackled as he tried his best to protect his sensitive underarms.

"Hehe, coochi coochi coo~" teased Tsukasa into his ear, causing him to squeal again. They both giggled along with him, having too much fun messing with him.

After a few more unbearable armpit tickles, the end credits started playing and Toya had dozed off...again. Both Akito and Tsukasa stopped Rui's ticklish torment, giving him room to breathe.

"So...wanna watch another one?" asked Akito.

"Sure" replied Tsukasa, setting up another horror movie. I guess they didn't learn anything from the previous one. Who knows what kind of chaos they'll ensue this time.

I'm gonna go with a tie between Song Rong and Sun Yongren. Why, you may ask? Because Song Rong is like...the typical dude you'd think wouldn't be scared of anything and then one actor or something jumps out at him and he jumps like ten feet in the air. Sun Yongren is just a big scaredy cat, he'd definitely shit his pants in a haunted house

I think Jiang Yuelou and Chen Yuzhi would be right after them. They'd still be scared but wouldn't outright jump or scream...Jiang Yuelou would probably put on a tough guy act to make sure that Chen Yuzhi was safe...haunted houses probably aren't good for him, cuz he'd probably punch an actor if he thought they were getting a little too close to his Yuzhi...but for supernatural murder cases, I'd say they'd be a bit more level-headed than Song Rong and Sun Yongren

Definitely Zhan Junbai. He's a soldier, he's seen some shit, haunted houses and the supernatural doesn't scare him. Jiang Yuelou could also be put into this category as well, cuz he's also seen some shit, but I'd loop him with Chen Yuzhi because if Chen Yuzhi jumps, then Jiang Yuelou would jump, you know? Dorm Leaders Pt.1

Riddle Rosehearts 

Now, this porcupine is a tough cookie. To get into a relationship with him, you would have to be from one of two cases either you are like Trey in which you have known each other for years and are really close or you happen to be someone like the MC who completely changes his world for him and makes him see a different perspective.  

In a relationship, the baby is absolutely wrapped around your finger if you give him just the tiniest bit of physical affection: hugs, kisses, hand holding, anything. Everything just makes him fall more in love with you and become more attached. However, the baby will also get very fussy if this physical affection is not kept in private or at least only seen by his close friends. Do not be stopped by this or anything that comes out of his mouth because truthfully he adores your attention. Also try to keep the physical affections with others to a minimum because no one wants a magic-sealing collar nor do they want a tiny chihuahua coming after them.

Dates include the obvious teatime at four o’clock and taking care of his hedgehogs. Riddle definitely appreciates your attendance and efforts with any of his interests as he will try to do the same with yours. On dates he will try to act as cool as possible but even he needs to be led by the hand sometimes. 

While fights might moderately happen especially over something neither of you will give up, he has learned to keep his calm toward those he cares for in order not to lose them. Please do not get mad at the child for some habit that he has; if you want to confront any issue with him the best way to do it is to talk about it rationally and try your best to not get overly upset with him. Yelling is a big no-no; please do not yell at this small child because either he will start yelling or he will start crying because the most important person in his life is yelling at him basically telling him that he is a terrible person. 

Please do not leave this baby. Riddle has huge abandonment issues, so please just give him the attention that he wants, and everything will be fine

If you are not doing well at any class and are either in his grade or the grade below (or even the grades above), please allow him to help you. This baby craves being of use to you, so if he helps you and you do well, he will feel absolutely blessed. He just wants you to depend on him as much as possible even if it is through school work or something small.

Leona Kingscholar

For a true, long-lasting relationship with Leona, you have to desire to become a close friend with him before even starting to date. He has the tallest and strongest walls around his heart that allow him to shield everyone from all of his feelings and emotions other than his anger. Please get to know this one truly with a brave heart and a kind soul and a determined mindset. Once one of you realizes your feelings for each other and starts your advances, the other will as well and everything is a slippery slope after. However, do not get swayed by his cockiness and reserved personality because it will surely be worth everything in the end. 

At the beginning of the relationship, there will be many ups and downs on both parts; the man has no problem not communicating and not even putting an effort into anything, but if you are not swayed by this and keep coming back to him, he will crack. Allow him the time to process the fact that he finally can call you his and that he has to put an effort into your relationship, and he will be the best man he can be.

After the beginning of your relationship, this kitty will become all the more touchy because of his dependence on you and your affection. Once his walls are cracked, he expects the daily cuddle and hug and kiss you give him. If possible he will never let you out of his arms, but with Ruggie keeping track of him it is very unlikely to happen. 

Most dates are in his room because he dislikes putting too much of an effort into something that he will not appreciate in the end. There will be the odd date in the gardens while Leona naps and you do whatever you came there for until he drags you to nap with him. 

You can tell him no when he drags you to cuddle, but please be careful with how you say it. If you want to distance yourself from him or he believes you are trying to, he will give you space; however, this space is because he believes you do not love you. He loves you, please, give him the attention he needs; he just wants to cuddle and love you. He does not want to make you upset, and this scaredy cat will do anything to make sure you stay with him. 

Fights are fun. Yelling is common even with small quarrels, and for the large fights it might become slightly physical depending on if you give up or if you keep heating the fight up.  Please do not be deterred and continue to love this cat because even if he becomes defensive and is mad at you for a while, he still loves you. He may give you the silent treatment for several days, but just like cats he will continue to want your attention and will not stray too far from your side. He might even mess up a couple of your things to get your attention on him.

Please keep your attention on him as much as possible. He is a huge baby and wants your eyes and affections for just himself. Besides, nothing good comes from when he sees you giving others your attention, unless that was your aim. If you are paying more attention to someone else in public, he will wrap his arm and maybe his tail around you just saying that he wants your attention very subtly.

A softy, no matter what he says. He just wants to be with you and enjoy his time with you.

Enjoy this big cat because, honestly, he will do whatever you want to keep his relationship with you.

Azul Ashengrotto

You probably met Azul a little bit before his overblot or after it because otherwise you were probably involved or witnessed his bullying, and we do not condone bullying in this household. Azul would not have realized how important you are to him before his overblot because all he cared about was his contracts and proving those who bullied him wrong. After his blot and calming down and realizing his wrong ways, he will become more cognizant of what he cared about and would probably understand what you mean to him. At the beginning of the relationship, he would most likely not care about his needs of telling you his emotions or getting your affection since he is afraid of you leaving.

Take care of the boy and give him your affections. He will try to distract you at first, especially in public, but if you are determined enough he will give in to you and let you hug and cuddle him. Just because he seems uncomfortable, does not mean that he is. The blush on his face is only there because he has never done anything like this with anyone before. 

After he is used to your affections, he becomes dependent on them. If he does not get exactly four of your bear hugs a day at eight in the morning, thirty minutes past noon, four in the afternoon, and exactly eight twelve, he will not survive the day. He craves your affection in private and will beg on his knees if he cannot have it. Even though he will not do this in public, this is not to say that your relationship is fake but that he just finds more comfort in private where he does not have to hide his problems or his desires from you. 

Dates will either be completely mapped out or sporadic; dates could range from beach trips and going to a theme park to regular drinks at the lounge and study dates. Azul wants your relationship and outlook on him to be the best any person could ask out of their partner; he wants to spoil you so that you continue to love him and depend on him. Help plan the dates and maybe even pay for some of it if he keeps on insisting that he has everything and that he just wants to spoil you. Spoil him, he wants it too. 

Good luck stopping him from crying when he sees you giving others your attention for a long time. He understands that he does not take up all of your time, but he is so anxious that you will leave him for someone else. Talk to him about it, promise him that you will not leave him. He is just worried; do not judge him for being worried that you will leave him. Also very greedy for your affections. 

Very few big fights will happen with Azul, this sweetheart will only be able to give you the silent treatment for a couple of days before he needs your attention again so any major fight usually is dismissed. Azul would break out crying if you start yelling at him, so please don’t. Also he does not like yelling at you either because you are too important for him to get incredibly angry at for something that might not matter in a couple of months. He also understands the pressure and disarray that one’s emotions get when getting yelled at by someone they love. 

He is obviously very insecure, so please tread lightly on his insecurities as he would do the same with you. Help him understand his worth because otherwise he tries to find out through being the “perfect” boyfriend of yours. 

Please treat this boy gently. Handle with care. He does not want to offend you in any way but he always wants your attention. Communication and determination is key with this one.

MARK :: oh, where do i start with mister absolutely fully capable? mark is the definition of adorkable. if you look up that word in the dictionary, you’re gonna see his picture pasted right under it. he’s endearing and awkward, and he tries his best in everything and puts his best foot forward, giving 110% in whatever he does. he’s a hard worker and a good boy. he laughs at that’s what she said jokes, and he’s the type of person to think of a funny joke from three days ago and start laughing at the most inappropriate time, like in the middle of standard testing. he’ll say things he thinks are funny, like “five guys hello guys” or that long sentence about possibilities and immediately look to you with those wide doe eyes, seeking a positive reaction from you and hoping you’ll laugh. he’ll try to wink at you randomly sometimes, but he always fails and just ends up blinking, which will make you laugh and call him cute and have him scrunching up his nose because that’s not what he intended to happen and he’ll be really flustered at the compliment. he’s really sweet, and I think taeil called him the most romantic? however, I feel like having a relationship isn’t a high priority for him right now. he seems to have workaholic tendencies, which could frustrate his s/o. he would need to have someone that understands his work and music is the most important to him, and he might unintentionally neglect checking up with his s/o at times. he’s a little shy and introverted, so it might be hard for him to make a first move if you aren’t friends at first. he’ll write dozens upon dozens of songs about you. that’s the way he’ll express his affection because he’s too shy to in the beginning and music is what he’s good at. there will be lots of late nights with him strumming his guitar and you sitting next to him, reading a book or playing a game on your phone, and he’ll call your name and you look up before he nervously starts to play a new song that he’s written for you. and at the end of the song, he’ll glance up at you really quickly before looking back down at his guitar, and you’re going to have to go over to him and take his face into your hands softly and tell him his song was amazing and you love it as much as you love him. and he’ll smile so big as his glasses slide down his nose before he quickly leans up and presses the softest kiss against your mouth to show you his appreciation before he loses courage to do so. sometimes you steal those round rimmed glasses of his and try them on yourself, and mark has to cover his face and look away and wring his hands and he makes those little oi mark noises because you look so cute and he doesn’t know what to do with himself. on the other hand, mark is also very stubborn. it may not look like that, but if you notice the relationship between him and hyuck, hyuck is always the one giving in at the end. mark will absolutely not do something if he doesn’t want to do it. I do think he will go after something if he wants it, but he will hesitate slightly at first. he follows the rules a bit too much. he doesn’t seem to be the most fun person to party with either unless you get him to drink a beer because he’s a lightweight, but that also means you have to take care of him afterwards. also, he said in an interview that he doesn’t like rollercoasters or fast rides, but he enjoys the cotton candy at amusement parks lol but he did go on those rides in the end, but his head was down the entire time rip. mark gets easily embarrassed. it’s like in that video where they read tweets aloud and mark got super embarrassed when jaehyun read this tweet that gushed about his laugh, and mark just curled up into himself and couldn’t lift his head up and awkwardly laughed. he’s adorkable. please tease him and hype him up in this very same way just to get this cute reaction out of him.

RENJUN :: renjun is the one you can call when you have a body to bury and he’ll show up with the shovel. he’ll call you a stupid idiot, but he’ll still show up to help you. he’s the type that would come over at 3 a.m. if there’s a bug in your apartment and squash it for you after much complaining and telling you that he won’t do it. he’s fiercely loyal and caring. he took care of chenle when chenle wasn’t as proficient with korean and made sure he was doing ok and was always ready to translate for him whenever. he puts up a tough, ready to fight front, but he’s a scaredy cat and if you pretend to be a ghost (read: jisung), he’ll be scared shitless. you can see him get scared and hide behind jeno and hug him so hard when the zombie jumped out in one of those save dream interactive videos. he’s the person you can banter with and he understands dry humor and sarcasm, and I think he’s best for e2l story plot lines because of this lmao but he also fits the best friend role well. he will roast anyone with no mercy with just a few words. he’s artistic. he’s super good at art and has shared several of his beautiful digital drawings before. he’s the person to go to when you want to have long, serious talks at 4 in the morning, and as seen through his radio show, he will try his best to give you advice, even if he may not be experienced enough, but he is trying his hardest to help. if you read some of the advice he gives on his radio show, you can get a better sense of who he is as a person. he’s really insightful and puts a lot of effort into giving the best answer he can. also, he really reminds me of a little brother or someone I want to be best friends with because we can roast people together or talk about paranormal stuff. he just seems really fun to mess around with because he gives funny reactions. he gives off that younger sibling vibe where only your big sister can make fun of you, but once she sees someone else doing it, it’s not ok and she’s gonna go after that person for making her lil bro cry. in a relationship, he wants someone he can trust with his thoughts and interests, such as aliens, and while his s/o may not believe in them, he wants them to genuinely listen to him and not just brush it off. however, he will still roast his s/o into oblivion. it’s how he shows his affection lol. he’ll call you an idiot and cute all in the same sentence. but he’s really a soft and sensitive boy underneath his snappy, sarcastic exterior. he cried when they won first place for the first time. i’m sure he cried when ridin’ reached number one on the charts. he’s attentive and likes affection even though he tries to say he doesn’t. in that one weekly idol dreamie episode, hyuck listed who hated affection, and he wasn’t one of them. he’s a good boy, and underneath all his snarky comments, he wants to be loved and cared for. you can see how he got a lil huffy when jisung chose chenle as his favorite hyung lol he doesn’t express his feelings outwardly as much, but if you’re his s/o, he will quietly adore you in his own way while outwardly being that one snarky couple who banters all the time. he’ll draw pictures of you, secretly have you as his homescreen, or have a secret photo album on his phone of just pictures of you. he’ll complain if you get him a couple item, like a bracelet, but he’ll wear it 24/7 and refuse to give it back to you. he will absolutely lose his shit if he misplaces it. he’ll cook for you if you ask, but he’ll make a big show about fake complaining about it beforehand. I think he’s okay with hand holding and kisses here and there, but he won’t do grand gestures of pda because he thinks those should be more private and between the two of you. he thinks pet names are sappy as heck, and he’ll get terribly embarrassed if you call him one but he’d be like “that’s so gross and corny... but call me that again.” honestly, just tell him ily and his cheeks will turn so red and he’ll bury his face in his hands but he’ll say it back in the quietest voice and he truly does mean it with his whole chest.

JENO :: jeno is someone who fits in so many roles. his character is versatile in a sense. you can make him into a bad boy, the boy next door, your best friend, anybody. his humor is underrated, and he makes funny puns. he’s good at sarcasm and wit, like when he asked jisung if he thought jaemin’s iq was single digits or when the instructor complimented him and said his rap sounded like mark and he was like “oh.... that’s not good.” he worries about being funny. he mentioned losing sleep over it in weekly idol, so please tell him he’s funny and laugh at his jokes ): he really is funny, and i love his humor. jeno is really smart. he managed to rank 4th or something I believe in his school after cram studying the day before. he’s really self-assured and confident in himself, but he doesn’t show off or act cocky, yet you can sense the quiet confidence in him. he’s humble and works hard and deserves more credit than he’s given. he possesses leadership qualities and is a source of strength for other members. i think they said he was one of the cleaner members and when he’s drunk, he cleans LMAO he is into sports and gymming, especially biking. hyuck said that jeno’s bedroom has his and jaemin’s bikes hanging on the walls lol he also is really competitive, but not a sore loser type. jeno doesn’t strike me as the type who needs his s/o around 24/7 and prefers to have hobbies and space separate from his s/o. he’s laid back, but at the same time, still energetic and fun to be around. he’s still weird, but not over the top weird. jeno is insightful and kind, and he has stated that he’s very shy and timid before. doyoung likes him the most because he’s kind and respectful and takes into account other people’s feelings and listens well. he’s a good boy. he’s also really playful and teasing and plays well with others, like jisung jokes around with him all the time. I feel like jisung jokes around with him the most out of all his hyungs aside from chenle because jeno doesn’t get mad. i believe the members say he’s the only one aside from chenle who doesn’t get mad when someone messes up in dance practices. he cries when he gets angry. jeno is also really affectionate. he enjoys cuddling and holding hands and back hugs and whatnot, but he doesn’t overdo it. it takes a long time for him to trust and open up to someone, and you’re a very lucky person if he lets you see this side of him. he won’t force you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. If something is bothering you, he won’t pry at first if you refuse to talk about it, but I do think he will eventually make you talk if he feels something is terribly wrong or if it’s affecting the relationship. jeno is driven and knows what he wants. he’ll give you space, but if you’re not what he’s looking for or if you don’t put the effort in as well and won’t open up to him, I do think he will move on. he might bottle up his emotions at first, but as the relationship progresses, he’ll be fully open to you and tell you everything. I don’t think he’ll be terribly affected if he’s rejected because he is confident in himself and able to brush it off. he knows his self-worth. oh, and he loves animals. obviously, jeno loves his cats because he has them even when he’s allergic. he’s the type of s/o who, if you mention you’re walking back to your dorm late at night after staying in the art building to finish your painting, he’ll show up with messy hair and his glasses in his sweats with a hoodie thrown on haphazardly and walk you back safely even without you asking. kiss him on his nose at random times just because you love him, and he’ll make that jeno trademark noise of confusion before giving you the prettiest eye smile that makes the moon dim in shame and nuzzling his face into your shoulder shyly. call him jeno darling or jeno love if you want to see the same reaction as before. it’s gonna be a total KO to his heart if you call him that and boop him on the nose with the softest kiss. anyway, jeno is the bestest boy in the entire universe, and give him all your love, please and thank you.

HAECHAN :: hyuck is so fucking talented. he’s good at everything: singing, dancing, rapping, variety shows, you name it. he was born to be an idol. he’s the golden one and excels at everything. he’s an ace, and he knows it. yeah, he’s cocky and brags about everything he does, but he actually has evidence and proof to back it up. plus, no one can stay mad at him for very long because have you seen how cute he is?? he’s a brat, but you still love him anyway. he’s good at sweet talking and getting what he wants. he plays a push and pull game, and you end up falling for him in the end. i know in fics on here, you often see jaemin in the playboy/fuckboy persona, but I think hyuck absolutely exudes this persona. he is able to read the room or a person and knows the exact way to act in order to get the reaction he wants. it’s hyuck’s world, and we’re all just living in it. he can have all of us eating out of the palm of his hand if he desires. i think he truly embodies the traits of a slytherin: ambitious and cunning. it’s every man for himself, and he’ll do whatever it takes to get what he believes he deserves and plays by his own rules. hyuck is so smart and intelligent, both in terms of brains and emotion. he’s absolutely brilliant, and he’s the type of person to ace an exam without even studying for it. I think he did very well in school, and he also beat doyoung in mental maths when they had a competition on weekly idol lol and he’s also street smart. there’s a reason why doyoung and taeil are scared of him and why they prefer to be on his team than against him lmao. I think hyuck is also a people pleaser though. he wants to be liked, and it’ll drive him crazy if someone calls him boring or shows no interest towards him. I think he’ll want a s/o who plays the push and pull game with him. he’ll playfully tease them a lot, and they’ll have to be interesting and able to dazzle him with their own wit and sarcasm. he, like renjun, is snarky and sarcastic. he likes to make people laugh and enjoys being the center of attention. he is super affectionate and rivals jaemin in this aspect. he thrives off of physical touches, hugs, cuddles, etc. he likes to cuddle when he sleeps, and I feel like he enjoys being the little spoon. he isn’t afraid of pda and will show off his s/o to the world with a loud kiss or back hug anywhere. he’s the type who would do that back pocket spin peter does to lara jean lmao. the two of you can laze around at home, while he plays video games on his computer and you can sit in his lap and he’ll do that thing where his arms are around you and his chin is on your shoulder. he’s a good cook, and he’ll cook for you, but he expects you to pay him back in kisses. his s/o might think he doesn’t pay attention to what they’re saying to him, but he does. he absolutely adores his s/o and remembers everything about them. he’s the type to surprise his s/o with their favorite flowers on a random day, and his s/o would’ve thought he wasn’t paying attention when they told him their favorite flower months ago. and please, please, please surprise him with flowers too because that will catch him off guard and you’ll see him blush and get flustered for once. it’s like when the dreamies first debuted, and chenle said hyuck was the best singer and he wanted to be like hyuck, and hyuck got really quiet and shy and flustered about it. however, he’d get really shy around his crush if they weren’t friends first. there’s that video of him returning something that twice’s mono dropped I think and he was so nervous before and afterwards. or there’s that time when he handed flowers to seungwoo and got so flustered as the dreamies teased him afterwards. also, I feel like sometimes people forget that so much hard work goes into what he does because he makes it look so effortless. hyuck works so hard in everything and puts his all into what he does. anyway, please appreciate hyuck and love him lots. he deserves to be showered in love and affection.

JAEMIN :: jaemin is like jeno in the sense that his character is also super versatile. you can make him fit any type of persona for your fic. jaemin is a sweetheart. his entire existence is love. hyuck said that he treats his members the same way he treats his fans in an episode of weekly idol before. he’s a really affectionate person as seen in the way he showers jisung with affection. he eats, sleeps, and breathes aegyo. you’re going to experience his aegyo a lot if you’re his s/o, so brace yourself. he even managed to make hyuck flustered when he kissed him in that recent reload era game video. he has a lot of love to give out, but he also wants the same amount of love in return. you can see how he craves for love from jisung in return and the way he gets a little upset when he doesn’t get it, like when jisung didn’t call him his favorite hyung. his s/o needs to be okay with being showered with affection and love, and they have to do the same for him. call him cute pet names, give him random kisses throughout the day, back hug him while he’s cooking, he will just absolutely glow and bask in your love. jaemin is good at cooking. he will cook for you, and if you cook, he’ll eat what you make with no complaints. it’s like that meme where person A gives person B a drink with salt in it, and person B drinks it all, and when person A asks why they did that even though it was salty, person B says it’s because they didn’t want to hurt person A’s feelings. jaemin is person B. he’ll also make you model for him and pose literally everywhere so he can take pictures of you because you’re the prettiest person in the entire world to him. he’ll make you his lockscreen, homescreen, hang up pictures of you in his room, all that jazz. he’s the one who buys couple items or outfits and makes you wear them with them. his entire Instagram account will be pictures of you or with you. however, he’s also petty af and nags a lot lmao. he complained to jeno when jisung said he wanted to eat bread at 3 a.m. and how he couldn’t go out to buy him any. he also nagged renjun in one of those dream vs dream videos for not having any questions about him, while all his questions were about renjun. or when he was sulking about jeno not knowing his favorite cartoon character. I believe he mentioned having extreme mood swings too where he’s either too quiet or too loud and out there, and as a s/o, you’d have to cater to both sides of him. jaemin is also an introvert. he’s very quiet and shy around strangers, but he’ll unleash his inner weirdness and loudness when he feels comfortable around you, and you’re in for a wild, fun ride. in that video where he and jeno were making cakes, he seems really hyper and wild. same goes for that video where they went out to eat, and jaemin was pouring soda into a glass dramatically. or when they played that dance game where you have to add onto the dance and copy the previous dances, and he added some random flailing motion and complained when someone did it wrong. or when he and renjun were paired up for that guessing game when they both had headphones on, and he started flailing everywhere and getting kinda frustrated at renjun for getting zero right. he’s a bit weird lmao. as his s/o, i hope you go along with his weird antics and have fun with him too! you also have to remind him to take care of himself. make sure he doesn’t drink that ungodly coffee drink of his or eat too much sugar. take care of him, love him, cherish him, and jaemin will be the best boyfriend ever. he might even set up a whole led light display for you at night declaring his love like he did for jeno. actually, no, he definitely will. he’ll do big grand gestures to show his love for you. he’ll fill your house with roses and press kisses to each of your fingertips with a different reason for why he loves you. he’ll continue to list the reasons for why he loves you for every star he sees until he runs out of stars, but he’ll never run out of reasons for loving you.

CHENLE :: chenle was born to be a star. he is so incredibly talented and picks up skills so quickly. it’s evident because he managed to debut after two months of training and he became fluent in korean quickly. he’s humble and gracious, and he’s the embodiment of that miss universe song: he’s beauty, he’s grace. he doesn’t flaunt his wealth, in fact, it only ever comes up because others bring it up. or he accidentally shows it off when he asks what rent means or when he tries to innocently rectify the situation, like when jaemin was like “oh his parents held a concert for him for his bday” and chenle was like “noooo no it was just to make a memory” on idol room lmao. the way he expresses his love is through gift giving. it shows in the way he told mark he’ll buy him anything he wants for his bday or when he gave apple watches to the 00 liners or when he immediately agreed to buy jeno a plane ticket to china to show him around his home. but he’s not trying to flaunt his wealth. this is simply how he shows his love. chenle is laidback and easygoing. he doesn’t care about jisung using honorifics with him, and he’ll go along with whatever’s happening. there’s that one video during mfal era where hyuck and chenle won the prize and hyuck was like “hey I’ll take the prize ok?” and chenle just immediately agrees and doesn’t care at all. but don’t get me wrong, chenle is super competitive. he wants to win, but it’s more about that feeling you get when you’re the winner, rather than the actual prize for him. he’s really into sports, specifically basketball, so i feel like he’d enjoy it if his s/o expressed some sort of interest in it with him. they don’t have to play basketball with him, but he’d appreciate it greatly if they listened to him talk about stephen curry or cheer him on from the sidelines. he’s affectionate. if you read my renjun description, chenle is the other one that hyuck said doesn’t mind affection from the other members on weekly idol. I don’t see him showing affection blatantly as much like hyuck and jaemin, but I think he loves receiving it. chenle obviously receives so much love from his family and is super close to them. he will love his s/o with his whole heart, and I hope his s/o will love him back just as much. also, I’m pretty sure he’ll love his s/o acting cute because his heart rate spiked up when jisung did aegyo on idol room lmao. I think he’s the only other extrovert in the dreamies, besides hyuck. I believe someone asked jaemin or skz hyunjin if they got close after the collab stage, and they said that they were really awkward with each other. however, skz felix and chenle became good friends! chenle is friendly and a people person. he thrives in social settings, and he’s a social butterfly. he’ll help people out of their shells and make sure to include them in conversations. he’s the type of person who would clear his throat and be like “hey y/n has something to say” if you tried to say something in a group convo and weren’t heard. he’s fine with being the center of attention, but he doesn’t actively seek out that position, like hyuck does. unlike hyuck, he’s not a people pleaser. I think he’s confident in himself, and he’s self assured and satisfied with who he is, so he doesn’t really care what others think of him. chenle is really playful. he likes to tease the other members and wreak harmless havoc lol you can see how he plays around with the other members, like in nct life where he just throws snow at jisung or scares jisung with a rubber chicken when they went to an amusement park in shanghai. he’s a thrill seeker. he loves roller coasters, shooting games, laser tag, etc. he gets excited over the littlest things, and he’s a naturally cheerful person who lights up the room and just naturally has people gravitate towards him. however, he has his serious moments too, and I can see him sitting next to his s/o behind the piano and playing something for them. but then, he’ll probably ruin the soft moment by slamming his hands down on the keys and scaring them at the end.

JISUNG :: jisung reminds me of high school puppy love. he’s curious about the world and introspective. he asked the fans to send him pictures of the moon because he couldn’t see it himself. I think he has a lot of deep thoughts and keeps them to himself because he’s introverted and nervous about sharing them aloud in case he’s not taken seriously as the youngest. he’s inquisitive and sweet, and he’s the culmination of everything good in the universe. he’s the one whom renjun talks to about aliens and paranormal things, and I believe he’ll want a s/o who will take him seriously on these things and listens to his concerns without teasing or making fun of him for believing in them. jisung is shy and gets embarrassed when he’s given compliments. there’s this video where the dreamies read compliments from fans aloud, and you can see how flustered and shy he gets as he ducks his head, has to pause and cover his face before playing with his hair as he reads through the compliments with the biggest smile peeking on his face. I think this is the cutest thing ever, and at the beginning of the relationship, if his s/o compliments him or does something cute, he’s going to react exactly like that. tell him his dancing is amazing, watch his fancams around him, tell him his face is nice to look at, etc. and you’ll see him get reduced to a flustered, blushing mess. the first time he sees you wearing one of his sweaters with the sleeves covering your hands and giving you sweater paws, he will combust and stutter and not be able to look at you as his cheeks turn red. he might just suffer a heart attack if you decide to casually call him a cute pet name one day. additionally, jisung is at that age where he wants to know what others think of him and he wants to be liked. I think this is the reason why he’s more hesitant about speaking up or voicing himself in an unfamiliar environment because he doesn’t want to give off a negative image. he’s also painfully shy, but he wants to make friends, which he explains on dancing high. because of this, he truly cherishes any friendship or relationship he has because it’s seen as something incredibly special to him. as his s/o, you’re gonna mean the world to him and he will value your opinion greatly. once he’s comfortable around you, he’ll be loud and talkative. jeno says that jisung talks the most at the dorm and he’s never quiet. jisung is also a lil shit lol, and he knows how to get out of things, like cleaning up after dinner by locking himself in the bathroom. he’s also a little lazy and probably not the cleanest tbh. he sleeps in jaemin’s bed or in the living room because he’s too lazy to go to his top bunk. he doesn’t listen to his hyungs and talks down to them in a playful way because he knows they’re whipped for him lmao. when the relationship progresses, jisung is going to act in the same, exact way with you. he’s a savage, and he will roast you in the same way he roasts his hyungs, like when hyuck wanted to go to LA with him for why not the dancer and he was like “you have to be good at dancing to go” (which btw, fight me, jisung, hyuck is literally the best dancer). he’ll tease you, hide items on the tallest shelf just so that you’ll call him for help, and smush your cheeks and call you cute. he’ll ruffle your hair and run up behind you and sweep you off your feet princess style just to scare you before carefully placing you back down or tossing you into the pool lol he may have complained about carrying renjun in that reload era game video, but he’ll give you piggy backs when you’re tired or carry you around if you asked. he likes playing video games and those block breaker game apps and when he loses, he’ll sit there and pout without realizing it. he does that little nose scrunch unknowingly, and it’s the cutest. he’ll like dates at home the best. he sucks at cooking, but he’ll try to do it for you. but it’ll end up with you cooking while he back hugs you, and you have to walk around the kitchen with him being a koala attached to you as you feed him bits of the food being made.
