Like, We’ve been TEASED with Ace’s brother, that I’m starting to think it’s just a reference to that Alice in Wonderland park character in Japan and nothing else….

Jack’s family, Ruggie’s grandma, Falena, Maleficia, Ms.Rosehearts, Just now Vil’s dad is in the picture which I am really happy but now I’m wondering about his mom, and so Deuce’s mom.

I mean, some HAVE a silhouette!! It could mean they do have a design in the making/ready to show. They could’ve shown us Falena in the Tamashina (hope I said that correctly) event, but didn’t (prolly to make Leona not so σ(▼□▼メ) and it’s understandable)

Anyhow, any idea/headcannon about this? Who do you want to see first?

I'm wondering if everyone might eventually get a travel event? like they've now introduced with Vil's that it doesn't have to be specifically hometowns, so that opens things up a lot! (especially if they have to figure out how to do three separate Coral Sea visits) (how would that even work otherwise)

but yeah, I hope everyone gets a chance! there's a lot of backstory characters I would LOVE to meet. :D :D :D though I do think some of them don't really suit the more light-hearted tone of the events (pretty sure you're right about that being why Falena wasn't in Tamashina-Mina, that would've just been. too much for Leona.) so like...we're probably not ever going to meet the Rosehearts. or Maleficia (although I maintain that this would be THE funniest possible way to introduce her outside of the main story, and actually I would love this a lot, can we please Twst) (I need to see her to put Malleus in a froofy little outfit and tell him what a handsome boy he is). but they've sprung surprises like Kifaji on us, and honestly anyone who shows up and tells embarrassing stories about characters' childhoods is good in my book!

characters off the top of my head who I most want to meet: literally any of the Zigvolts, Azul's mom, Ace's brother, Che'nya's grandfather (<- I think he would be a good one for Riddle) (please just any non-terrible adult in his life), any member of Rook's family because I need to see how they managed to produce him, and...really just whoever they can come up with for Silver.

answering a rely question from @sapphosaurusx about my PokeTWST au.

I'm still in the process of writing the PokeTWST post, but I did make Pokemon teams for each character (minus the staff for now). I didn't make full 6-pokemon teams (for now) because I feel like realistically (as realistically as you can be in Pokemon) that is pretty hard to care for. I had issues handling 4 rabbits and 2 turtles growing up, imagine an entire campus filled with students with 6 Pokemon each...whoa... Also, if any of you can convince me to add a Pokemon to someone's team, I can add in the future~

I've made a sneak peak of my PokeTWST teams with the boy's trainer profile (ignore the terrible quality because I made them on an old iPad without a stylus ^_^")

basically. yuu, in this au, ends up working at nrc as a professor. and being one of the younger professors, all the students are curious about their love life. and yuu always just says that they have no one. one day the students ask if they ever had a partner before. and yuu, in a moment of absolute stupidity, says that they have. and that their boyfriend used to go to nrc. (obviously they did NOT, in fact, have a boyfriend who used to go to nrc. that is a lie.)

and THUS starts the gossip mill of everyone starting to speculate who the hell yuu’s mystery past boyfriend was. and yuu’s like oh shit, bc they basically started all the rumors, but they needed to put an end to it, bc now CROWLEY and CREWEL were pestering them over which “ruffian” they dated before—

so in a moment of, again, absolute stupidity, they contact their past crush (who they never dated haha) for help. aka they called azul ashengrotto. they didn’t really know what to expect, because it’s azul, and they haven’t really heard from him in a while, but azul picks up.

and after hearing about their predicament, azul laughs, “i can’t say it is out of character for you to get into this sort of trouble. it is fortunate that i have business in sage island in a couple of days. shall we discuss it then?"

and and and they go on a *sparkles emoji* date but it’s not called a date bc it’s actually supposed to be a Serious Meeting where yuu is Asking For Help. and then azul pulls up with a contract, because turns out he would also benefit from having a “partner” and thus, they start fake datinggg wooo

wait imagine in a au where rollo transfers to nrc, all other rooms in ramshackle are barely livable so rollo sleeps in the same bed as you and u offhandly mention it

Omg the chaos that a single offhand remark will cause...

Ace and Deuce will invite themselves over to Ramshackle for so many sleepovers out of both envy and because there are no rules at Ramshackle, so they can disobey as much as they want without Riddle collaring them. That, and they can keep an eye on Rollo. They can't let Rollo become your best buddy when you have them!

Riddle thinks it's embarrassing and improper for two classmates to sleep in the same bed, but then Riddle has also never experienced a sleepover before so he would not know that sleeping in the same bed is completely normal for friends if space is limited.

Azul's fake smile has never fallen so fast before. You and Rollo. The same bed. Together. Same bed. Close and warm under the covers. Together. It should've been him! He's so jealous! He wants the twins to look after you and intervene in case Rollo tries anything, but Floyd thinks that's too lame and boring and Jade will only do it if Azul adds mushroom dishes to the Mostro Lounge menu permanently. Catch Azul in the bushes with binoculars, seething through grit teeth about how you can't rely on eels to do an octopus's job.

Epel definitely joins Ace and Deuce for those sleepovers. A night spent with you is already fun, even more so since he won't have to follow any of the night routines Vil makes him keep up with. >:D he's free to rebel for an entire night. He can feast on junk food and snacks and not have Vil in his ear about how unhealthy all of it is. Epel challenges Rollo to an arm wrestle because he wants to make sure Rollo's physically strong enough to protect you if anything happens since Epel lives all the way in Pomefiore and wouldn't be able to arrive fast enough if something happened. But Epel also has faith in your strength! Though it would be nice if you could rely on him to come to your aid... He's not some weak choir boy like Rollo!

Rook finds Azul in the bushes and decides to stay for a nice, riveting chat. He asks all the best questions. Questions like, "What positions do you the Roi du Mouchoir prefers? How do you think he sleeps? Do you think he is the little spoon or the big spoon? Do you think he drools? How many beats does his pretty heart skip when he dreams?" Azul is going to cry. This is his worst day yet.

Idia could pretend he doesn't care, but Rollo keeps finding and destroying all of the tiny cameras and mics he's scattered throughout Ramshackle. He's more annoying than Idia thought...

Malleus still visits every night to say hello to you and Rollo. Even if Rollo glares and huffs, Malleus is still cordial. Though he can't help the jealousy that sparks when he watches his favorite child of man bicker lightheartedly with Rollo. The two of you have certainly grown close. At first he was pleased to know you were so generous and welcoming to Rollo, but ever since he's moved into Ramshackle things have become so lively. These troublesome things are like thorns in his side, but nothing is more thorny than envy.

"You're right, i'm just..." A quiet sigh as Azul took a deep breath, in and out. In and out. Slow and steady. The nightmare was over, the steady dripping of ink could be shoved down, down, down where he didn't need to focus on it.

"i'm just tired, after everything. "

Oh, he had to pretend to smile at Ramshackle's perfect, when in reality he wanted to throttle them for all the undone work they'd ruined. Years of building up his empire, undone by one single person. how he loathed them despite the smile he plastered on his face.

This is not a request, but you're like my favorite Twisted Wonderland person on Tumblr and you're always friendly and I don't have anyone else to share my TWST thoughts with. 😂😭 So I hope you don't mind me sharing this random thought I had. It's so stupid and I literally got the idea from an old TV show I enjoyed as a child where a girl accidentally accepted someone's proposal without knowing it was a proposal. 😂 Please forgive me for the length.

So, the NRC students are from all over, right? Some places IRL have some interesting courting methods that aren't the usual date, proposal, marriage some people are used to (I'm from the US, it's basic and boring here). So imagine catching someone's fancy in Twisted Wonderland. You're friends at first, then there's some unconfirmed but not entirely subtle feelings between you two. Then all of sudden they offer you a gift, or invite you somewhere specific, say a certain phrase to you, etc. And you somehow react or respond in a way and BOOM, boy of your choice thinks you're dating, or even engaged.

Like, Azul is showing you this really pretty pearl or something from the Coral Sea. You think he's giving it to you, so you take it. And now he's all flustered like, "wait a second they think I proposed????" and poor thing is completely losing it internally. He's half like "I'M TOO YOUNG TO GET MARRIED" and half like "Our wedding colors should be the same as the lounge colors..."

Meanwhile with Floyd, he also gave you the previously mentioned pretty pearl KNOWING you don't understand the meaning behind it. You happily accepted it, and then he throws you over his shoulder and starts telling everyone you're getting married.

I think the beastmen would have interesting ways as well, like giving you specific items as a courting method. And once again, you just accept the gifts without knowing and then BOOM, Leona's family is gushing over his "fiance", Ruggie is writing home to his granny about you, and Jack's tail won't quit wagging.

Or Sebek, being half human and half fae, only knows the basics of human proposals- as in, he doesn't realize humans often propose with a ring. He assumes anything jewelry-wise is related. So you somehow come across say, a shiny pin/broach, or something of the sort and give it to Sebek as a gift. And he's just screaming "I'M MARRIED TO MY DUTY AS A KNIGHT" and then chokes out "B-BUT I SUPPOSE I COULD FIND ROOM FOR YOU IN MY LIFE" and you're just like "???"

I'd like to imagine Kalim as the opposite scenario with Sebek: he just gives you a beautiful ring and invites you to a special ceremony and since you're used to his random gifts and parties, you think nothing of it. Next thing you know, he's skipping around school humming the wedding March and Jamil is like "WAIT- KALIM DOES Y/N KNOW YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?!"

And lastly Malleus. Maybe him inviting you back home has substantial meaning. So he's just like, "would you, Y/N... accompany me to the Valley of Thorns (I can't remember if that's the name)?" and you're like "sure!!!" And Lillia is far too amused to step in and explain to you the meaning behind Malleus's invitation- plus he wants grandbabies so what's the harm?

I have a couple more ideas but this is already so long. Thank you for reading my weird and jumbled thoughts!!!

Before anything OMG THE BEGINNING JUST MADE ME SO HAPPY To hear that I'm someone favorite fandom person is like, such a honor! And everytime I read that, it feels like the first time and just like the first idk how to respond???? Oh, darling, thank you! It was the sweetest thing to read that <3

Okay, back to the actual ask! Also lot's of fangirling bc I love thinking about marriage and those things

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT With your permission, I want to separate this into a special folder in case I have the sudden inspiration to write an actual fic about it (idk how much of the boys I can cover tho, but anyways). Because the entire concept is so funny and also adorable in a special way

Here in Brazil, people also propose with a ring and all that but some people (as well in other countries) might have some ideas to make the whole thing more different or unexpected. I personally like the good old just kneel down and offer the ring... that might be bc I don't have much patience with surprises most of the time. BUT! When it's that special person, everything suddenly feels more special either way

So yeah, some of the boys having a "tradition from their homeland" to propose could go with me. *shifting to my Silver stan heart* I imagined Silver proposing to me like that. Maybe something that Lilia taught him bc that's the way faeries propose. Or it's Lilia's family way to propose! I made some similar hc in the first years request with Sebek but it was for dating (that maybe faes already understand like some type of commitment) and it's taught in Sebek's mom family. The whole thing of offering a bouquet of rosemary and red carnations that means "love and affection between lovers". I wonder which way Lilia could taught Silver to propose to someone... maybe Sleeping Beauty related somehow?

Talking about Diasomnia, I'll go for Malleus now. He inviting you to the Valley of the Thorns (I prefer this term tbh) to meet his grandmother but he doesn't think about explaining why that's important and Lilia don't wanting either can make such a funny story. Especially bc all faes in the court are arguing about the wedding or some of them are actually planning stuff, and you are just "wow! look at this place, it's so amazing!" not realizing a single thing.

Still on Sebek, the concept of "humans only proposes with jewelry" is wonderful and his response simply hilarious! After that, you take your time to explain to him the "ring" tradition and he thinks he should make up for things by buying you a ring ("after all, we're engaged") and you're split between stopping him and maybe actually being engaged....

Kalim taking you to the nupcial party (like, some special party to celebrate the engagement first) and not realizing that you're oblivious to his real reasons, meanwhile Jamil is like "you gotta be kidding me". The worst part? When you understand things, you decide to just go with it. You love Kalim with all your heart, so why not? That makes Kalim so much happier! But Jamil is so done with you two (he's part of the team "you can't marry someone after so little time together")

Leona and Ruggie's part might be something very traditional and famous from Afterglow Savannah that recall Nala and Simba. I just love that scene of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?", I refer that everytime I can when it's something about Leona and confessing/proposing. But the Upendi in Lion King 2 could go well too! It's just a date together (traditionally, in the jungle part or somewhere next to a water font) and you make a heart with leaf to your partner and let it go with the wind. Rook may do the same since he came from there too

Now for Jack....??? Something with the moonlight, sounds like a wolf pack way to propose. I'll go crazy with this bc he's one of my favorites, hope you don't mind. Oh, imagine him taking you to somewhere you can see the bright moon (specially full moon) and he gifts you with a moonstone collar, swearing with the Moon above you that he'll always be there for you forever tail is wagging, face is blushing hard and you're like "this collar is so beautiful, thanks for the gift!" "u-uh, glad you like it. In our marriage day, I'll gift you something similar but as a ring." "really? wait MARRIAGE DAY?!" (talking for me, I would gladly accept my fate)

Floyd WOULD do exactly that! Jade? The same. One of those situations where you already accepted so, there's no coming back lol Throwing you over his should is probably Floyd way to express his joy and to be quick while announcing the marriage bc he wants the whole NRC to know

About azul glasses (also I loved the tiny scenario) If i'm not mistaking it's canon that he doesn't need to use glasses in his merform, but he chooses to use the glasses to look more intelectual/smart.

That does ring a bit of a bell?

I mainly remember that he tries to present himself a certain way to others, but I remembered it more as him trying to look more approachable, inconspicuous, yet still capable. Like, he wants to be taken seriously, but also doesn't want to look too intimidating and scare potential clients away.

Glasses have a lot of stereotypes tied to them, including the illusion of intelligence and refinement. I don't doubt that Azul wears glasses for this reason, along with the aforementioned reasons. I just remembered damn well that this little shit doesn't need glasses because he doesn't wear them during his overblot and is still able to aim his attacks just fine!

On this same note, I've actually wanted to discuss how ironic I found it that Azul wears glasses, but not the twins. Because eels, in contrast to octopi, have terrible eyesight and rely on scent to get around. Like, out of the octotrio, the tweels should be the ones wearing glasses, not Azul. Which just further makes me support my headcanon that turning human required tradeoffs the octotrio had to adjust to.

For Azul, his eyesight got worse and he now has a blindspot, leading to him wearing glasses.

For the tweels, their eyesight got better, but now their sense of smell decreased and can no longer be used for hunting.

Also, screw canon, but I firmly believe that Azul had an easier time learning to walk with two legs because octopi have been spotted walking on their tentacles on the ocean floor while eels don't even have legs to begin with and their primary form of locomotion is wiggling. The tweels would spend a good hour or so just trying to grasp the fact they now have two lower appendages instead of one!

Synopsis: S/o is a singer that has gained popularity overtime in Twisted Wonderland and at Night Raven College. So what happens when rumors spread around that s/o is dating someone?!?

Azul

At first he would probably try and take away your voice seeing as it was your “best feature” for something more calm

But overtime he realized he didn’t want you voice but perhaps your heart

Bless his soul when you two got together he was basically on cloud nine

Loves loves loves hearing you sing to him while he looks over contracts his eyes closing as he gets lost in your melodic voice

Supports you behind the scenes as well! Anyone that’s causing you trouble at your concerts are seen by him for a little..”One on one time”

Even if your not singing, he loves your voice always saying it’s your best feature even if your not singing he loves just listening to you talk about whatever

Sometimes when he reminisces of his past he comes to you as you stroke his hair and calmly sing to him

Is..okay with your relationship being private he understands the privacy but if one more person comes and ask you for your number he might accidentally shatter his “good persona”

Prefers not to have your relationship public so was definitely fine with it being private, he always was taught not to be in the spotlight and with your relationship he rather not be the talk of the school.

He threw a Frying pan at Kalim once cause he almost outed you guys to the entire school

He loves it when your voice pulls him to sleep, he lays his head on your lap as you calmly sing to him before he drifts off into dreamworld

Doesn’t mind if you don’t want people to know you guys are dating he wasn’t really planning on telling anyone anyways

He’s pretty intimidating so if anyone was to really mess with you then they would have to be answering to him

He loves your shows, going out to support you whenever he can even, he only has one piece of your merchandise though and that’s the small plush animal you had and he will bring it to his grave he sleeps with it every single night (he never tells a single soul about it)

So spoiled on you singing to him he won’t sleep without it, picking you up from your waist and dragging you to go sleep with him

So I saw your post about your Azul and Riddle enemies headcanons and how you mentioned that you actually believe they're besties, and as someone who also believes they're besties I'd be very interested to hear any bff headcanons you have about them if you don't mind 👀

Azul and Riddle are bffs even if they both refuse to admit it. I think about their interactions in book 6 frequently. You get a bulleted list because I don't know how else to organize my thoughts this time.

They've literally been besties since they met their freshman year (probably at orientation in the form of Azul trying to get Floyd to leave Riddle alone)

Like, they'd start accidentally hanging out together in the library while they were studying

And then it just became an unspoken meetup at a certain time at the same table at least once a week

When Riddle found out about Azul's study guides he tried really hard to get him in trouble for breaking the rules, only to find out that Azul was not, in fact, breaking a single rule (causing Riddle to gain a new respect for him but also to make sure his whole dorm was wary of him)

Now that they're both housewardens, they have a tendency to inadvertently, or on purpose, team up during housewarden meetings on random topics

Half the time they don't even realize they're agreeing until after they've won whatever argument they were having with the others and they high five (immediately regretting it)

After book 6 when Azul says they're friends Riddle has to think long and hard about what that means and whether or not Azul is trying to pull one over on him

Once they both mutually accept each other as friends they get really awkward around each other because neither of them have ever really had 'friends'

Like, Azul has the twins but they don't refer to each other as friends and Riddle has Trey and Che'nya and Cater but he's never really felt like they were at the same point as him in terms of friendship (mostly because he excluded himself from anything close to friendship)

Azul and Riddle just work so well together and they're just always on the same page (even if Riddle gets offended if anyone compares him to Azul in any way)
