Lee: Giyuu Tomioka

Lers: Shinobu Kocho, Mitsuri Kanroji, Tengen Uzui, Kyojuro Rengoku, Sanemi Shinazugawa and Iguro Obanai (Gyomei and Muichiro didn't want to participate)

'Am I the only one who has noticed Giyuu's change of mood?', Shinobu frowned as the others nodded.

Shinobu was closer to Giyuu, even closer than Mitsuri, Obanai and Kyojuro or even Sanemi, who had been trying to become his suitor, so she seemed to be the only one who knew Giyuu.

'You really are great observers... Tomioka-San has been happier these days, he is now a little more open and talks a little more, plus he smiles now...-' 'WHAAAAAAT?!', the others shouted, Shinobu definitely spent a lot of time with Giyuu. 'Are you serious Shinobu-Chan?!'

'Yep! I think this is all because of Tanjiro-Kun, he is the second person Tomioka-San spends the most time with. It seems that that boy has helped him come out of his shell... You should see them, I can never help but laugh since he looks like a mother hen with her newborn chick'

Shinobu laughed at the memory, but stopped when the others' gazes focused only on her, apparently they were waiting for Shinobu to stop the "joke", which was not. 'Tsk, that brat is always by Giyuu's side, I'm not surprised that his good humor has rubbed off on him... I wonder why Kocho's humor hasn't rubbed off on him before...'

'And I'm wondering the following. Why it seems that you are more jealous of Tanjiro and me than Shinobu or Obanai, they also spend time with Giyuu-San and it doesn't seem to bother you as much as my and Tanjiro's presence. Besides, you and Giyuu-San are nothing to make you jealous... '

'Tokito, that was rude, apologize to Shinazugawa,' Muichiro rolled his eyes and 'apologized'.

What he said was true, but Gyomei didn't like the way he expressed it, it wasn't an appropriate way of speaking for a child.

Shinobu simply sighed as Sanemi began to scold Muichiro for what he had told him, the only ones who didn't stay a part of it were Mitsuri, Kyojuro and Obanai, who followed her.

'Kocho, if what you say is true, why don't you just prove it? Because I remind you that on one occasion we tried every possible way to make Tomioka smile, and NOTHING helped. Do you think you can then prove that Tomioka can laugh?', Shinobu nodded and led them.

The four hid in some nearby bushes, they were spying on Giyuu, all because of Obanai's idea. 'Well?' What are you waiting for?'

'You're so impatient Iguro-San... But it's okay, I'll go~'

Obanai just looked away for a minute and Shinobu was gone, now she was jumping from branch to branch until she got close to Giyuu and she launched herself so he could catch her, and he did it.

'Tomioka-San! Thanks for catching me! What brings you here~?' 'It's a quiet place, it relaxes me...'

'Ooooh I see! Tomioka-San, forgive me for what I will do...', Giyuu raised an eyebrow in confusion, leaving Shinobu on the ground and then feeling how her small hands caressed his neck.

'This is a waste of time... She's not going to make it!'

'Patience patience Obanai! Let's trust Kocho! She does not-!'

'Shhhhh!', Mitsuri placed her hands on both of their mouths, when they finally quieted he pointed to where Giyuu and Shinobu were.

The three of them couldn't believe it, Giyuu was smiling!

'Awwww what's wrong~? Before when I did this it didn't seem to do anything to you, but now you're laughing!'

'N-no! I'm nohot-! Ko-Kocho!', Giyuu didn't want to laugh, but the smile he had implied many things. 'Aren't you? And what is that that forms on your face? It's not the expression you usually have, it's a little smile~'

Giyuu denied, covering his face with his hands, also finally moving Shinobu away from his neck.

But this wouldn't stop her, taking advantage of the fact that his arms were somewhat raised, she decided to dug into his armpits, looking for a better reaction, and she got it.

'Hehehehehey!! Kohochohoho!! O-okahahay!! I'm smilihihing!!'

'Oh really? I hadn't realized...~'

'Cohomehehe ohohohon!! Thihihis is embahaharrassihihing!!', Shinobu didn't believe it, but she already had what she wanted, so she stopped.

Giyuu shook his head as he caught his breath, making her swear not to say a single word to the others and she nodded.

But, the others had already seen what happened, would that count as a broken promise?

'I can't believe it... She really did it...' 'Woah! Kocho impressed me! Hahahaha! It's amazing, I want to try it too!'

'We shouldn't speak so loudly, they can come and listen to us!', they couldn't, they were too content in his place and didn't want to move for the world.

Mitsuri and Kyojuro couldn't bear the secret, and ended up telling Uzui. What was going to happen to poor Giyuu having those three lers chasing him until they achieved their goal of making him laugh?

Maybe there would be another objective involved, who knows...

'Well, what plan do you have?'

'What if everyone does it individually? If the three of us go together it can be very predictable, don't you think?'

'I totally agree with you Kanroji! So you will have the honors of doing it first!', Mitsuri smiled and nodded.

It took a while to find Giyuu and when she finally found him, she ran over to hug him.

For Giyuu it was normal, the only thing he wanted was for Obanai not to see them, it was always the same "she hugged me" argument, and it may not be so believable anymore.

'Tomioka... There's something weird about you...' 'Really? What could that be "weird"?'

'Your waist...', Giyuu raised an eyebrow, what was wrong with his waist?

Taking advantage of the fact that Mitsuri was hugging him, he used his hands to "caress" his sides with his reverse (left hand on right side and/or right hand on left side), "measuring" Giyuu's waist, who didn't know what to think and laughed out of nerves.

'K-Kahanrohoji! Whahahat-?!'

'I thought Iguro-San's waist was peculiar, but so is yours. Not in a bad way, you look pretty good! Highlight your figure!'

Giyuu didn't know whether to thank her, it was a bit of an awkward situation and if he didn't know Mitsuri, he'd think she was trying to flirt with him, but he knew that was the usual Mitsuri. 'What's so funny, Giyuu~?'

'I dohohohon't knohow!!' 'Aaaaw, are you nervous~? I'm barely doing something and you're laughing~!'

Giyuu covered his red face, it was embarrassing, both because of the situation and because he didn't know why he couldn't stop laughing, Mitsuri was right, she wasn't doing much and he was laughing

'Aaaaw Tomioka-San, you're so cute! So adorable! So giggly! Hey, what's up~? You don't like it when people compliment you? Look at your little red face, it's so cute~!', Mitsuri laughed as Giyuu made a futile effort to get away from her. 'Mit-!! Pleheahase stohohop tahalkihing!!'

'Eeeeh~? Why I should? You know I like to talk! Aaaaaah I'm getting it, is it the baby voice I'm making that's embarrassing you~? It's so cute...~' 'Nohohoho!! Plehahasehe!!'

Mitsuri didn't want to stop, who would? It was such an infectious laugh and yet unexpected and cute at the same time, but she stopped because it seemed like Giyuu would literally die of embarrassment.

'Okahahay! Gosh! Are you okay ?'

'Yehehes... Please don't tell anyone about this...', well, a little late for that.

Mitsuri nodded and after leaving, Giyuu went in the opposite direction, feeling that someone sensed him, he turned around but there was no one.

He shook his head thinking it was part of the shame of what had happened earlier, but when he returned his gaze to the front and continued walking, he shrugged when someone blew a gentle breeze on his neck. 'WHO?! Oh.. Is that you Uzui, what's wrong?'

'I thought it would take you a little longer to detect that it was me, congratulations to you for detecting me earlier!'

Giyuu sighed in relief, he should have known, Uzui is the only one who would do that. 'How was the experience you just had?'

'I-I don't know what you mean...'

'Please Tomioka, you know perfectly well that I have good hearing, don't think I didn't hear when Mitsuri tickled you...'

Well, the "please don't tell anyone" couldn't happen, but Giyuu deduced that Uzui must have been close enough to that place to have heard clearly.

However, Giyuu can almost never complain because he is always interrupted, whether by words or actions, in this case it was an action, Uzui had put a hand on his ribs, poking every 3 seconds or for every word he said.

'I guess you should be grateful that I was the one who listened to you. Can you imagine it would have been someone else? Someone like Iguro Obanai...' 'I-I imagine...'

'Everything okay? Are you cold or something? I feel like you're shaking, why are you hugging your ribs? I repeat the question, are you cold?', Giyuu denied, it was something he hated.

He didn't know he hated that until Sanemi and Obanai did it, he didn't like someone talking to him or the other person while tickling him, LESS, if that included "ignoring" him or pretending like he wasn't being tickled. 'If you're not cold, why-?'

'S-stohop!', Uzui tsked, but it was more like a chuckle than anything else.

Giyuu slapped his arm as he began to use his fingers as claws and began to tickle his ribs, the slap only made Uzui change position, lifting Giyuu off the floor and holding back his laughter as his feet began to try to touch the floor. 'What are you doing?!'

'Daaaah, isn't it obvious? Give you a hug! Have they never hugged you?'

'Why are you lying? You were tickling me! Wait...'

Tengen laughed and Giyuu cursed mentally, as he always fell in Uzui's games, and he knew what was coming, his head started repeating "idiot" as he prepared himself, but something different happened.

'Well, I think you earned your forgiveness. I'll leave you alone because you indirectly admitted that you're ticklish, even though I already knew that hahahaha. Well little one, you're free!', and said and done, Uzui put Giyuu on the ground and ruffled his hair.

Giyuu's brain was trying to recap everything, had Tengen just let him go? He expected something else, I don't know, maybe a raspberry before leaving but nothing, Uzui didn't do anything to him, should he feel disappointed or grateful?. 'Oh right, before I forget!'

'HEY?! AAAAH TEHENGEHEHEN!!'

And... It seems that Giyuu's thought was heard, Tengen picked him up one last time and blew a raspberry on his neck, and before Giyuu saw him, he was already gone.

Well... It could have been worse

'I think there's something really weird here... First Shinobu, although she always does it, it doesn't surprise me, then Mitsuri and now Tengen... I have to assume that the next one will be Rengoku...' 'And you're right my friend!'

Giyuu gasped as Kyojuro hugged him from behind, but one thing led to another and now they were both on the floor. 'Okay, what is this?! Why is everyone tickling me?!'

'The real question is why we should NOT tickle you! We know you like this Giyuu, stop acting strong and smile at life! I'll show you how!'

Oh hell no! Giyuu knew one thing, if Tengen did something, Kyojuro would ALSO do the same move, it was something he deduced when he found himself sitting on Rengoku's lap and Rengoku had hugged him tightly enough so that he didn't run away and it didn't hurt. 'Wait... Rengoku... Let's TAHAHAHALK!!'

'My my! It seems that someone has woken up with a slight sensitivity to raspberries! Hahahaha!', and all Giyuu needed was the damn teasing.

Why did those 4 love to talk to him as if he were a baby or teasing him if he laughed? The answer appeared on their cheeks, probably that blush of embarrassment was what was driving them. 'STOHOHOP THIHIS!!'

'Now?! But we've only just begun! Tomioka, you are a hashira, will you say that this is too much for you?!', Giyuu denied, he didn't care about the raspberries in a certain part, what was worse was the teasing

He couldn't, if Kyojuro started talking to him the way Mitsuri does, he was definitely going to lose everything, luckily Kyojuro wasn't one of the people who did that... Or was he...?

'Tomioka, your cheeks, they are as red as a tomato! No, wait, they're almost the color of the ends of my hair! I think now I understand why they call them 'raspberries', they have the same color as your cheeks!'

'PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!! NOHOHOT THAHAHAT!!'

'What's wrong Tomioka?! "Not that"?! What thing?! The raspberries?! The compliments?! The tickles?! Be more specific!'

Kyojuro couldn't help but laugh as Giyuu's head fell onto his shoulders, feeling like it was no longer necessary to hug him.

'Mmmm I see! So you want the tickling to continue but without teasing?! Because if it were the raspberries that you want us to continue, you wouldn't be giving me access to your neck! Wait... What did you just do now...?'

Giyuu covered his mouth when Kyojuro let go of him to look at him in surprise. He knew that face and had exactly 3 seconds to run as far as he could or gain enough air for the next thing.

He wasn't being a coward, but he decided to simply run away as he heard Rengoku shout in the distance who indicated that he had snorted.

'Hahahaha poor Tomioka, and there are only 4 of us!', he commented as he stood up and shook himself, Giyuu wouldn't make it that far.

Who do you think would be next? Well, maybe one boy who was sitting on a branch of a nearby tree and the other who was leaning on the same tree could answer the question.

'That idiot thinks we forgot what happened last time?'

'Obanai, we're not going to be so cruel now, we're almost out in the open...'

'I had forgotten that ever since your feelings for Giyuu grew, you became soft. Cottonweed...', Sanemi climbed onto the branch and started shaking it, making Obanai regret having said that to him AND having said that about Giyuu.

Obanai couldn't believe it, but if he argued, Sanemi would respond that he is the same as him because with Mitsuri he is a god's bread that doesn't hurt a single fly, so he better put up with it.

'Well, if that's the problem, how about we take him to your estate? This way, if something happens, you will be a million meters away from the ears of others...'.

Obanai, you don't learn, do you? This time, Sanemi didn't need to make any effort because when he climbed up to try to do the same movement, the branch creaked and broke, causing both of them to fall to the ground.

'What's wrong with those two...?'

'I don't know, but promise me you won't do that Muichiro, you could get hurt', Muichiro nodded, but crossed his fingers behind him, it looked amused, who wouldn't?. 'Do we really have to tickle Giyuu-San? I think he's already suffered from enough...'

'Well, how about we stay and watch that duo not be cruel to him?' 'I think it is better'

Muichiro agreed and helped Gyomei hide, Giyuu had approached and had almost passed him by, but returned when he realized that Sanemi and Obanai were on the ground.

'Eeeeeeh... Guys, have you fallen or are you looking at the sky?'

'What happened is that we saw that the ants were telling jokes and we lay down on the floor to hear them better...', bad timing, but good sarcasm!

Muichiro covered his mouth laughing, Obanai was funny when he meant to be.

Giyuu shrugged as he sighed, helping them both up and brushing themselves off. 'Thanks Giyuu...'

'You're welcome, well, if you'll excuse me I'll go to my estate to...'

'Oh of course not! You just helped us and you think we'll let you go without thanking you?!'

That was strange for Giyuu... Obanai thanking him? He hadn't done much, but if that was necessary for them to let him go, he had to accept it, right? 'Okay...? You're welcome, see you again! Hey! Oh god, you too?!'

'We too what?' 'Why are you guys tickling me lately?! I thought you hated me!', Obanai wanted to say something, but Sanemi stopped him, he knew what he was going to say.

'It's a 50/50, if maybe you made that face, we'd like you better...'

'Face-? What face are you talking about? I don't make GRACES-!', Giyuu growled as Sanemi brought his wrists together and put them behind his head, fighting to keep Giyuu from moving away from his grasp.

Sanemi had to admit, Giyuu was strong, maybe stronger than he had thought and he liked the idea, he wanted to see how long he would have to fight until Giyuu accepts that he won't be able to escape for a while.

'Don't you know? Shinazugawa, what do you think we remind Tomioka of what we talked about?'

'Mmmm, I don't know, do you think he'll be able to handle it?' 'It is a challenge?'

Great, back between a rock and a hard place, although maybe it could be Giyuu's chance to escape, if Sanemi paid enough attention to Obanai, he could break free and run away.

Maybe in another world, at another time and with other people, not with that duo of terror

'I don't know, what do you think Tomioka? Who do you think would win?' 'And why do we ask him? Less blah blah blah and more action!'

'Shall I tell you something? Do it once and for all! I'm tired of this, if you're going to tickle me, do it NOW!', they both stayed silent, they didn't believe they saw Giyuu angry.

Obanai signaled to Sanemi, it was the opportunity for him to conquer his flirt, but Sanemi gave him a look that told him to keep his mouth shut or he would have a bad time.

Giyuu sighed and tried to headbutt Sanemi, but this ended with the three of them falling to the floor, and how did Obanai fall? Sanemi made him stagger and fall.

'Oh god, really? I was expecting this to be something more exciting, you know?' 'It's weird, but I think it's best to save Giyuu before those two do anything else...'

'And what are they going to do? They seem to be fighting right now and... Forget it, they already started tickling him...'

Gyomei nodded and let out a "about time" and Muichiro nodded in response.

It honestly seemed like both Sanemi and Obanai were holding back, how do they know? Because Giyuu was screaming so loud that it seemed like he was going to go hoarse if someone didn't help him.

'Do you think you're very skilled for headbutting me?! Well, what do you think, you're not going to get rid of this! You're going to suffer for your damn mistake!' 'Also, a while ago you were saying "if you're going to tickle me, just do it" a few seconds ago, it's obvious that you like to laugh, huh? You have nothing to say?'

'I-I-I CAHAHAHAHAN'T!!! YOHOHOU AHAREHEHE-!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!', and apparently Gyomei and Muichiro were right, Giyuu couldn't even form a sentence correctly.

But their little game was not going to last long for Sanemi and Obanai, since after a few seconds they felt like a small stone hit them with extreme force on the forehead.

There was deja vu in those moments, from the first time they met Tanjiro and someone threw a rock at him to stop him from screaming, do you already have an idea of who threw that rock?

'Muichiro...'

'Giyuu-San needed a break!'

'Yes, I understand. Well, now let me get Giyuu out of there. If you get too close Sanemi and Obanai will probably hit you....'

(previous anon here) Thanks for the reply and don't worry at all about the tone :) Yeah, I know the post wasn't about that, I just put in a good word for Izzy about his hostility in that particular scene. I was like you about Ed in season 1… I couldn't be angry with him even when he threw poor Lucius into the sea XD but my view of him changed in season 2 and I can understand people who keep defending him but it makes me sad see often the same fans who justify everything he does not empathizing even a little with Izzy (when he deserves it, of course). I'd also have to say about the Ed/Izzy dynamic of the Frankfurter clouds scene/whole episode but I don't want bother you further because that would be long ^^' Goodnight! (no need to post this, I took you enough time)

wrt Ed, honestly, he just bats his big sad baby cow eyes and I'm like, awwww. Who could be mad at you.

Look at him! He can do whatever he wants <3

No but fr, I think the first 3 episodes of s2 are super super interesting, because Ed genuinely is a bit of a dick in them - but we are asked to forgive him anyway. We're clearly shown that the violence, the refusal to engage with his own emotions, the hypermasculine posturing - all that is very bad for him. He's hurting himself much more than he's hurting anyone else, and ofmd always took emotional pain far more serious than physical injury. Also, there's been a worrying tendency in fandom over the hiatus to paint Ed as much more aggressive and violent than he actually is; to refuse to extend to him the empathy and understanding certain Other Characters get. This has only been amplified after s2 dropped.

So there's a counter-tendency to be very very firm in the stance that he never did anything wrong XD Not saying you personally are a part of that first tendency of course.

Ed actually is criticized in Canon for what he did! He does have to make amends. And he is forgiven. The characters forgive him; the story forgives him; we, the audience, are supposed to forgive him. Because what we are shown is the destructive death spiral of a man so hopeless, and in such horrific emotional pain, that the only solution he sees is pushing until someone snaps and kills him. That's heartbreaking, and 02x02 is visceral to watch. I never wanted to see Ed redeemed (because, imo, that's not what he needs, he feels bad enough about himself already); I wanted to see him recover. And I got that :)

But I can see how people with different life experiences than mine might see that differently.

The Hero of Legend was always on the move. Here today, gone tomorrow as some folks said. Some days he would be at the castle, enjoying a nice cup of tea with the princess. Others he might be Kakariko Village trading for rupees or stories, or perhaps he would be out in the forest resting after a long fight. Not that the princess knew exactly; all she had ever known about the hero’s whereabouts was what he told her during one of his visits. And oh, how vivid he was in his retelling of stories.

Princess Zelda nearly spit out her tea as the hero told her the Bee Guy’s expression when he had brought in a fly that looked like a bee when all of a sudden the door to the tea room burst open. Zelda was about to tell whoever it was that now wasn’t the time, but she recognized the head of the guard and stood up. Link quickly got to his feet as well, his goofy expression quickly changing into one of seriousness.

“Your Majesty, you must come quick!” the guard said. “There has been a horde of monsters coming in from this . . . strange portal.”

-He knows from personal experience, and from being twins with Donnie, that gentle tickles are more suited for cheer ups so thats what he'll do unless you say otherwise

After you give him the go ahead he wiggled his six didgets gently alll over your tickle spots as he complimented every reaction, giggle, sound, ect. That you made!

"Awwww look at that incredible smile! And might I add what adorable giggles you have! Ohoho did I find another tickle spott! I'm gonna getcha'!~" He continued to lift you up and getcha all giggly until you were ready!

And of course he gave you cuddles afterwards if you wanted them!

Donnie!:

-He's pretty great at cheer up tickles

-He won't tease or compliment per say but he will point out little details about your actions in a good way

-And will reassure you that everything is going to be okay

-He's used cheer up tickles on Mikey before so he has a pretty good understanding of what to do and what not to do

You parked your car in the driveway to your shared house. Joe picked out a nice little town house, it was your favorite color with accents of grey. You recalled your day so far, remembering what made you feel so shitty.

First off, your co-worker Amanda closed the door on you in the pouring rain, so you had to spend an extra couple minutes inputing the code while getting drenched. Second, you forgot your lunch at home. You had been starving all day, especially since your lunch bag had your breakfast too. You ended up driving by your favorite fast food place and got something quick to eat. And third, you missed one day last week because of personal reasons, and suddenly you had an entire stack of paperwork to do in one day. Which you managed to do by staying late.

All in all it was a pretty frustrating day. All you wanted to do was go home to your boyfriend. You wanted to talk to him and let him hold you. Finally you had your chance.

You got out of your car, grabbing your bag, closing the door, and locking it. Making your way up and opening the door, you expect to see Joe waiting on the couch for you like usual, but he’s nowhere to be found. This frustrated you slightly but you took a deep breathe and put your bag down, closing the door to the house.

You yelled out, “I’m hoomee!!”, and heard a faint *thump* like someone dropped something. “Everything okay??”, you asked concerned.

“E-Everything’s fine-!! Don’t worry!! Just- don’t come in the kitchen right now-“, your boyfriend said frantically. You didn’t listen and peeked into the room he was in, eyes widening at the mess. It looked like he was trying to make your favorite dessert, but he was struggling. You giggled and smiled, a light blush spreading across your cheeks. “Awwww..you didn’t have to do all this for me..”, you stated as he finished up, putting the dish in the oven.

“Well.. of course I don’t have to,, but I want to! You seem so stressed lately, and I know these are your favorite, so I tried to make them? Obviously it hasn’t turned out great..when they’re done don’t feel the need to eat them so I feel better!! I doubt they’re any good anyway..haha”, Joe was fidgeting with this hands and looking down at them, nervously. He really tried to make something special for you, and you saw that. It was sweet.

“I’ll eat every last one.”, you looked into his eyes, they were so full of love. He looked around nervously at the mess, and then at you again. Conflicted whether to less the mess sit or comfort you. He could see that you weren’t having the best day, at all.

“You get that side, I’ll get the counter.”, Joe smiled softly at you, appreciative of your generous offer. You two finished up pretty quickly together, cleaning down all surfaces. You sighed in relief when you finished.

“All done! Thank you so much, (Y/N). I’m sorry you had to help me with your own ‘surprise’..”, he said sheepishly. You grabbed his hand and placed one on his face, making him look at you. “It’s no problem at all, my love. Thank you for your sweet surprise.”, his face turned red and he giggled, playing with shirt in his unoccupied hand.

“Can we go to our room and just..cuddle?”, you asked, squeezing his hand lightly. He nodded and lead you to the bedroom you shared. He took your jacket off, helped you take your jewelry off, and even assisted you in getting pajamas on. You were bright red and smiling like a lovesick fool, which you were. Your pupils were practically hearts.

Joe dragged you onto your shared king sized bed, helping you get comfortable. “Did you know I’m madly in love with you?”, you asked rhetorically. His face turned red this time and lied down on the mattress, opening his arms for you. “You know, I think I had a clue..”, he giggled, it was the prettiest sound in the whole world. His laugh sounded like chimes in the wind. Beautiful.

You crawled into his arms as he fastened them around your waist and back. One of your own went to Joe’s waist, the other lightly resting on his jaw, caressing his face. “You’re absolutely perfect..did you know that? You’re actually perfection. You’re my match, my other half, my twin flame. You are my everything, Joe Young. Thank you. Thank you for never giving up on me.”, you blurted out, completely surrounded by soft, warm love. You felt completely safe in his arms.

Joe just smiled and held you closer, tightening his grip on you slightly. His face was maroon and his smile was big and bright. “Says you. You’ve taught me so much, been there for me throughout all of my own personal struggles, comforted me, and so so much more. It’s only fair I return the favor.”, he winked and giggled, kissing your cheeks. He looked at you with so much love and adoration that you wanted to start crying. In fact you were tearing up as he spoke.

You held each other and just talked about anything that came to your minds, you would occasionally kiss his jaw and his grip would tighten. This went on until the timer for the dessert went off. Let’s just hope they taste alright.

Hello Alice. My birthday is coming up next Tuesday and I booked myself a holiday into California which is a massive deal for me. It made me think a lot about my uncle who travels around the world for his job quite often and how he was in Jerusulem literally in August. It is terrifying to think how much can change in the span of a few months. I don't know how you manage to cope with everything but I just wanted to drop in and say that even though I am this cyber stranger, I am very proud and in awe of you. This is the first time I’m writing ransom, hope you like it! 🥺

You and ransom had been best friends since you were literally kids. Your father worked with Harlan, so you used to usually be there when ransom visited Harlan’s house.

Ransom was sweet as a kid, but as he grew up, he did turn into an asshole, for everyone except you.

As a kid he was pretty sure you were his one true love he had heard about in stories. But as the years went by, he knew settling down with you wasn’t what he wanted. He was young and he wanted to live his life.

Though somewhere at the back of his mind, he knew he still loved you. But he wasn’t ready to accept that. He was ransom drysdale, he could get anyone he wanted.

You knew there was no point confessing your feelings to ransom. You would only get your heart broken, so you always hid your love towards him.

Everything came to a climax at a party at Harlan’s house. You were always close to Harlan himself and thus were invited too.

You took Andy Barber, your friend, along with you as your date. You knew how the family was and you already warned Andy. But to your surprise he was well liked by everybody.

Well, almost everybody. The moment ransom saw Andy, his eyes drifted from his face to your interlinked hands. He stared at you for a moment before storming off.

Andy was everything ransom couldn’t be. He was sophisticated, smart, rich and influential. Most importantly, unlike ransom he was sweet and not an asshole.

Ransom hadn’t even considered that he could lose you. But now, seeing you with Andy made him feel something he hadn’t felt before, jealousy.

He always got what he wanted, he wasn’t used to feeling jealous.

He realised what an idiot he was for not acting out on his feelings before. He couldn’t tolerate losing you. He loved you more than he thought he did.

Seeing you were alone in the corridor, he pulled you in one of the rooms. “What are you doing?” You asked somewhat frustrated. And for the first time in his life, ransom didn’t know what to say.

“Leave him.” Ransom wished he was capable of sweet words. You clearly weren’t getting what he was saying. “Leave who?”

“Him!” Ransom didn’t even want to say Andy’s name. It soon dawned upon you that he was talking about Andy. You and Andy weren’t dating, but you wanted to see how far ransom took it.

“Why would I do that?” You had waited for this day for most of your life. “Because… because I want you to be mine!” Ransom hadn’t said that to anyone before.

“And why do you want me?” You damn well knew the answer. Ransom just shrugged, he was too adamant to confess. When you didn’t give in, he finally sighed.

“You know it already don’t you?” You always had a way of understanding him like no other ever did. “But I want to hear you say it.” Ransom wasn’t the only one adamant.

“I… I love you!” Instantly you jumped into his arms and standing on your tiptoes, pressed your lips together.

“I love you too!” You whispered right against his lips. Pulling your legs around his waist, he discovered your mouth with his tongue.

“Wait, what about Andy?” Ransom didn’t really care about him, but he knew you weren’t the one to cheat. “We aren’t dating. I didn’t have anyone to bring as a date so I asked him. He’s just my friend.”

“So, you lied to me?” Chuckling, you gave him your best puppy eye look, “That’s not gonna work this time. You’ve been a bad girl, and you knew what happens to bad girls.”

it's no secret that mickey wasn't as free with his physical affection as teddy-bear ian gallagher was. franny was the only exception for awhile. she hadn't known any other version of mickey than her fun-loving uncle mickey. he had too much of a soft spot for little red -- the girl practically throwing herself at him whatever chance she got. what was he supposed to do? tell her no? not that he wanted to, either. he loved the little bugger, even if her mom could be a pain in the ass sometimes.

what came as more of a surprise was liam. liam had always been the baby, but he also knew how to read a room and when to keep his distance.

one night, liam had come home late after an evening of frank shenanigans, and begun his homework at the kitchen table. ian was already passed out upstairs, and mickey came down for a late night snack.

he unscrewed the lid to the jar of processed yellow cheese, dipping round tortilla chips straight into it -- crunching loudly.

"whatcha workin' on?"

"gotta study for my math test tomorrow. frank kept me out most of the night."

"oh, i could help you with math if you wanted."

"i thought you dropped out of high school?"

"don't need a high school degree to do 4th grade math, nerd. 'sides, i practically ran my house and family businesses -- i could do this shit in my sleep."

"really!?"

"yeah, kid, whatchu got?"

they studied together, eating almost the entire jar of cheese and bag of chips between the two of them, until liam was yawning so much he was making mickey tired.

"go get some sleep, man, i'll clean up."

liam nodded sleepily before trudging up the steps.

the next evening, mickey was standing in the kitchen, sipping on a beer and watching ian and lip argue about the stupidest shit when the front door flew open.

"mickey, mickey! i got 100% on my math test!" liam nearly knocked mickey over with the speed that he hurdled into him, hugging him tightly for a moment before his eyes widened. "oh, shit, sorry mick!" he began to pull away until mickey wrapped his arm around the kid.

"hey! good job, einstein, 'm proud of ya," mickey smiled down at the boy.

"thanks," liam said sheepishly as he ran upstairs to discard of his backpack.

the following week, they were having a movie night. it was some war movie shit that ian likes but liam would hate. the kid wanted to watch anyways. mickey plopped down on his corner of the couch while ian was digging through the cupboards to find his secret stash of twizzlers. liam sat on the cushion directly next to mickey, a plate of tortilla chips with cheese in hand.

"we can share these if you want," he murmured quietly, unsure.

"oh, sweet! that sounds fuckin' great," mickey shoved a chip in his mouth.

ian stood in the doorway frowning at the kid that took his spot on the couch next to his husband. mickey just nodded his head to the empty cushion on the other side of liam. ian sat and reached over the back of the couch to poke mickey's neck with a twizzler, just to be annoying.

about halfway through the movie, plate of chips now empty save for a couple crumbs, liam began drifting off, bobbing his head. mickey pushed the kid a little bit so he was more comfortable leaning against mickey's shoulder.

ian silently 'awwww-ed' and mickey just proceeded to flip him off. but it felt good to have kids around that actually liked him.

You were at school waiting for the class to finish so you could go to suna and ask him if he wants to eat lunch together. It was like an execuse to see him, but he didn’t mind. He would always look up from his phone, give you a kiss on your cheek and reply with a simple but still heartwarming „sure thing cutie“. But today was a little bit different, when the bell rang you stood up to walk to his class but when you arrived he wasn’t there. That never happens, he would always wait for you in his class because he knew you would come to see him. Before you could think about where he could have been you heard someone call your name so you turned around to see atsumu. „Hey y/n wassup, yer lookin‘ for rin ?“ of course he would already know so you gave him a smile and answered “Yeah, do you know where he is ? He actually knows that i always come to see him.” He told you that the teacher caught him playing on his phone during class, he also added “about time” and the two of you started to laugh. Atsumu told you he would return soon so you should just wait,and right after that he offered to wait with you so you wouldn’t be all alone. You thanked him and so the two of you started to talk about funny things and laughed at nearly everything. About 5 minutes later, you heard the door open so the two of you turned around. Suna stood there with his phone back again in his hand. He looked at you then at atsumu and then back again at you. He sighted and took you by your wrist. “Im hungry. Let’s go eat.” You turned you head back to look at atsumu and see how he formed a “jealous” with his mouth and you could see how he had to hold back from laughing. After suna dragged you out of the classroom he pushed you against the wall and looked at you with narrowed eyes. “Why were you alone with him in a classroom” So you thought about what he probably would think of after seeing his girlfriend sitting on a desk with another boy alone in a classroom. ‘Oop-‚ you said to yourself. He got closer you could almost feel his breath on your face. You gave him a smirk and decided to play a little with him because it was really rare to see him being jealous. So you started to talk „nothing new“. He looked you in the eyes „wtf y/n ?“ you could slightly see the pain light up in his eyes so you regretted it and hugged him „i was looking for you rin and atsumu told me that the teacher took your phone“ you could feel how he sighed in relief “so i waited with him for you” He pushed you back to look at you and you could see how his eyes looked at your lips. You really wanted to kiss him so he came even closer and when you were about to kiss he turned his head and kissed you cheek. He took your hand and started to walk to the cafeteria. Now he was the one smirking. „Lets go eat.Im hungry”.

The two of you were in the same class and you sat next to each other but he would never talk to you during class because he wants both of you to focus so you just keep your attention to the teacher. While writing down your notes your pencil cracked and you didn’t have another one so you turned to sakusa. “hey uh.. do you-“ you tried but he didn’t even try to turn his head to you “concentrate y/n” was the only thing you got from him. You didn’t want to bother him more so you turned to your other side, to your classmate. You asked him for a pencil and he gave u one of his. You thanked him and he even told you that you can keep the pencil. Both of you talked for a bit until the teacher told u to stop. So the two of u turned back to your own things and you continued taking your notes. You could feel the gaze from sakusa but you tried to ignore it as good as you can but u couldn’t take it anymore so you turned to him and asked him what his problem was. He didn’t answer until class was over. As you started to pack your things you turned to your boyfriend to see if he was ready to go eat but he was just sitting there, not looking at you. You walked to his desk so you would face him “Baby are you fineeee ?”, he looked up to you and finally said anything “why did u ask him if you have a whole ass boyfriend to ask for a damn pencil”, you looked at him with a serious face and told him that you tried to but he just ignored you. Then he realized that it really was all his fault and also the reason for his jealousy. He looked down and apologized quietly with a annoyed “sorry”. You just couldn’t anymore so you sat on his lap and hugged him. You could feel how his hands reached to yours waist to get you even closer. “so will you answer me next time i talk to u during class?”, you asked him. He looked back up to you and teased you “nah”, he said with a light smirk on his beautiful face. “only if you kiss me here and now”, he added while coming closer to your lips.

>Tanaka<

On your way to your boyfriend tanaka, you bumped into a random guy. You didn’t recognize him but you could tell he was a student at karasuno since he was wearing the same uniform as you. You apologized and tried to continue walking but he took you by the wrist. A little bit uncomfortable you looked down to your wrist and saw him squeezing gently. „ Hey little one, let me invite you to a meal“, he said while coming closer, „ you know, to say properly sorry“, he smirked. You tried to push him off of you, but obviously he was stronger, so instead he grabbed your other wrist and now you were trapped. You told him to let you go and that you have a boyfriend but he didn’t listen so you started to get mad. Is he being serious right now ?! „You should really let go if you don’t want to get injured“. He started laughing. „HAHAHA WHAT ARE U GONNA DO SHORTY ? PUNCH ME ?!? awwwwe“ He got even closer „Hmm? tell me what are you gonna do ?“. You could feel you blood boiling inside you , what if tanaka sees the whole thing.. what would he think.. - no. He would kill him probably. And now you remembered that you two were going to meet up so he should be looking for you by now. As expected you hear him shouting from the other side and the boy infront of you started to cursing „The heck is wrong with this dud-“. The poor boy couldn’t even end his sentence, instead he was panting on the floor and you couldn’t even count to 3. “WHO ARE U AND WHO GAVE YOU THE PERMISSION TO LOOK AT Y/N ?? HUUUUH ?!” You walked over to him and hugged him from the side. He also put his arm around your waist “ Did he do anything ? or was he trying to do anything, cuz if yes..” You told him that he didn’t do anything and that the two of you should go now “ Alright… good for him tho cuz NOT EVEN NOYA COULD STOP ME IF I WOULD BEAT HIM UP NOW”. Damn that must mean something. You started to laugh and drag him away but he kept glaring at that boy. ahhh how much u loved him.

School was over and you went outside to wait for you boyfriend Akaashi. You went over to one of the schools vending machines to get something to drink. As you decided what you want someone came from behind you. “Hey y/n, wassup “, one of your friends greeted you. The both of you talked for a while. When you told him that you wanted to buy something to drink, he turned to the vending machine and asked you what you wanted but you kept telling him that its okay and that you have your own money. “No no, i insist”, he smiled. So he went with strawberry milk. As he handed it over to you, you thanked him and opened it. ‘mhmm why is he taking so long ?’, you thought. Slightly confused your friend looks at you “hey y/n are you fine ? are you waiting for anyone by any chance ?”You snapped out of your thoughts as you told him thats its fine and he will come soon. “He ? Who is ‘he’ ?” Suddenly you feel a hand wrapping around your waist. It was Akaashi, ‘finally’, you thought. “I am ‘he’. Nice to meet you y/n’s friend, I am Akaashi, y/n’s boyfriend”, he smiled , “If you excuse us we have a date were going on now, lets keep in touch” Wow. You were impressed of how smooth and cool he got you out of there. But you remembered him mentioning something about a date, so you asked him “Were you joking about the date thing earlier ”.He looked down to you and gave you a small peek on your forehead “No actually not, are you free today ?” And with that the both of you enjoyed the day <3

i actually hc'd marius as having a crush on luke very early. my first tot ao3 fic is basically just marius having a crush on luke HAHA. i only started shipping them for real recently when i realized that their dynamics together are GREAT ACTUALLY.

so yeah, here are my views/dynamics on the two!!!

characterization stuffs

luke and marius are pretty similar in a lot of ways. both of them are a little arrogant, both of them have the tendency to show off, both of them have their moments of brazen confidence. this would make them clash at first, yeah, but also would be a catalyst for them connecting and understanding the other.

their differences tho is what makes me very intrigued though like

first, luke is a very emotionally honest person most of the time. when he's pleased, when he wants to give a compliment, when he has something nice to say, he's open and upfront about that. marius on the other hand is throwing up masks and facades every second of his life. for example, when marius wants compliments and gets them hes like "HA! I TRICKED YOU! (pls dont notice how much i actually crave this oh my god)" it drives me CRAZY. marius, when he inevitably becomes the target of luke's emotional honesty, would be very overwhelmed. marius would think "you're okay just...being honest about all that? especially to me? oh. oh."

second, marius is a very hopeful person actually. it may not look like it because he hides it a bunch, but he is (link leads to marius analyses delving deeper into this). luke seems to be very resigned and even hopeless at times, time and time again, he's so scared of not being good. so when marius comes into his life, im pretty sure he completely believes in luke's goodness, pretty sure that marius would share his (cautious yet persisting) hope about the world and the people in it to luke. luke would be very overwhelmed by this. luke would think "you're okay just...believing that things are going to be alright? that im alright, that i'll be alright? oh. oh."

THEYRE VERY GOOD FOILS FOR EACH OTHER, IS WHAT IM SAYING!!!

okay moving on, heres some cuter lighthearted thoughts

luke and marius are in the early twenties gang of the nxx investigation team. yeah, even the late twenties gang have their moments of childishness, but luke and marius ksjdbfkjds they are a bit more obvious with how they can be fun dumb young people.

for example, them playing video games together and getting STUPID COMPETITIVE OVER IT. "loser has to give the other a kiss," marius smirks. luke smiles sweetly and says "marius, if you want to kiss me, you dont have to lose to me in Smash Bros, you can just go for it." marius immediately tackling luke as he, affronted, says "WHY ARE YOU SO SURE IM GOING TO LOSE, YOU ASSHOLE!!!"

height difference. marius is 188cm (6'2) and luke is 180cm (5'10). i know thats only an 8cm difference and none of the nxx boys are short but like, IT'S CUTE OKAY, and marius does not let luke forget about the 8cms. marius being like "awwww does my short boyfriend need something from the top shelf?" and luke being like "does my tall boyfriend want to be ignored for the rest of the day?" cue marius going "NOOOOO, I WAS JUS TEASING, UR SO MEAAAAAN 🥺🥺🥺"

these two can switch from flirting with each other to roasting each other at the drop of a hat, it gives everybody in the immediate vicinity a LOT of whiplash.

marius, when he wants to fluster luke, calls luke "babe." never fails. the first time he does that when around the other team members, luke quite literally trips on NOTHING, face RED AS A TOMATO

luke hasnt quite figured out how to get back at him for this, luke doesnt really do terms of endearment (nothing is more romantic to him than the cadence of his lover's name!!!) but im sure he'll figure out something. for the time being, he has to admit he enjoys being called babe.
