The range of Erik's potential diet is once again fascinating me, on the basis of the sheer number of things that can highly inconvenience/kill a human. Obviously there's the chemical/plant/animal poisons that first come to mind—y'know, arsenic, belladonna, the unpleasantness that happens if you try to eat a monarch butterfly, that sort of thing. And I do have fun wondering if Erik's the type of guy to just … snatch some poor, poisonously bright insect off the side of a trunk and pop it in his mouth, as is his due as a Dragon Slayer who are just kinda like that sometimes.

However. The thought of Erik carefully harvesting and making his own wild licorice and monkshood tisanes, making use of a well-loved copper teapot and his treasured, antique tea service painted with lead-based glaze … kicking back with a cordial of pure ethanol, and the cordial is of course made of lead crystal … Meredy wandering over to an unsupervised, brightly-colored cookpot because whatever's in there smells amazing, then suddenly Erik is tackling her away and shouting about the cyanide he just spiced his quail and grass pea soup with, did Oración Seis not tell her to not touch his cadmium-painted cookpots?! Just, Erik being fancy about his poison consumption, because humans sure have figured out a bunch of ways to really inconvenience themselves and he might as well take advantage of their mistakes.

Also, what counts as poisonous enough to use? Humans can intoxicate themselves on too much water. Can Erik use that? There are so many things that are nonlethally, and even unnoticeably, harmful to us, so how trace can a poison be before Erik can't convert it into magic? Carbon monoxide is a notoriously odorless, colorless gas that is very bad for us—can Erik convert a poison he can't perceive? Can he straight-up eat rotten food because it would otherwise be harmful for literally anything else to eat? Relatedly, does this mean he really likes fermented food, because that's essentially rotten food that humans like to eat? I have questions

What do they do if one of them is bit by something venomous? They seem to live in a forest, but who knows what kinds of deadly spiders or snakes prowl around

They actually don't have to worry about spiders!

Spiders don't see them as food or a threat, whether venomous or not. Moon enjoys talking to spiders at times, he finds they make good conversation.

Snakes however, they do need to be weary of. At least, any large enough to eat them. To snakes, the fairies are just strange-looking mice.

And if one of them happened to be bitten by a venomous snake, there isn't much that can be done. It won't kill them, but it takes a long time for the toxin to exit their bodies. And it's painful.

Can i see your interruption of hylia? Or maybe one of the golden goddesses???

going with hylia because im very much undecided on how i see the golden three, but post skyward sword i feel as though they'd be like how some christians view god as the world around them rather than an entity (just with their respective elements), if that makes sense??

i also think hylia would begin looking more owlish than human, but become more human (though uncannily) the further society progressed because 1.) humans (hylians?) believeing in gods that look more like them as opposed to something that doesn't and 2.) as their protector, she'd want to be more appealing to their eye (while keeping some of her owlish qualities) so she doesn't have to go through a "fear not my appearance" moment

because din has ganon(dorf)/demise and farore has link/the chosen hero, that would leave zelda/hylia with nayru-- at least in my eyes. since nayru -> water -> moon i think hylia would have a darker color pallete correspondant to that of the moon/night sky

also she's naked. and doesn't have breasts (instead pecs). as a god, what use for clothes do you really have? and as a being that wasn't mammalian to begin with, why would you have breasts?

her hair was supposed to be like owl feathers, but they look more like bubble braids and i like it regardless

she has longer and more muscular arms, thin waist, large pecs, slim hips but large thighs, and from the knee-down she how owl-ish feet

i also think that she'd have more moon/eye motifs ("hylia watches all," or something) but if i tried to draw it all on paper i think my hand would explode

(her face is more skull-like, so it can like UNHINGE unhinge, and i think thats neat)

#as for the hair ornaments just know that it was venom related and i dont have the heart to draw any version of hylia/zelda without them </3 #venom! hylia/zelda is also creates fairies for ifetu/s'ava so. yknow.#regular hylia is now connected to fairies from now on.#stargazing in the palace #the palace answers

Does Cobra/Erik get eaten by monsters for fun and profit?

I cannot believe this is a legitimate question I have to ask, but I have to ask it because he’s a Poison Dragon Slayer, and you can’t eat animals that are poisonous because either they will give you the worst stomachache of your life or they’ll kill you. And Erik is poisonous. Does he think it’s fun if he jumps in a wyvern’s mouth and lets it keel over from heart failure? Or is he boring and does it with a Roar?
