Handsome critter on Snake Road in Illinois 🤍🐍
These were taken with a zoom lens. I wasn’t especially close to the snake, this one was just extra spooky. Remember to respect a venomous snake’s personal space!

🐠 Daily Fish Fact: 🐠
Stonefish are the most venomous fish known; stings can be fatal to humans. Most stonefish stings occur as a result of stepping on the creature which forces venom into the foot, while it is less common for the fish to sting when it is picked up. Stonefish stings can occur on the beach, not just in the water, since stonefish can survive out of the water for up to 24 hours. They are not easily seen as they look similar to rocks or coral.

Happy Voxman Secret Santa '23 @moonheart1313!!!
I had so much fun working on this!! Comics are something I'd love to do more of.
My friend Moon wrote the story for Voxman week 2020:

Moon's work is awesome, and it was easy to translate to drawings!! Happy (late) Secret Santa, Merry Cobmas and all that good stuff!

Kraits are horrifyingly deadly snakes and absolutely deserve immense amounts of respect, but I just. I just can't- I can't take them seriously. God created a being of fear and chaos and decided it should look like that. They're so triangular and stripey - they look like those rubber speedbumps people use in driveways and parking lots. Their Latin name is Bungarus. Bunga bunga toblerone of death

🐠 Daily Fish Fact: 🐠
Lionfish have established themselves as significant invasive species off the East Coast of the United States and in the Caribbean. adult lionfish have few identified natural predators, likely due to the effectiveness of their venomous spines: when threatened, a lionfish will orient its body to keep its dorsal fin pointed at the predator, even if this means swimming upsidedown.
