I was wondering if I could ask for Spock, Kirk, Pike and Uhura headcanons with a trans reader who gets annoyed with his body easily? Like, for me, whenever I don't wear a bra and feel the weight of my chest I get aggravated, if that makes sense?

Star Trek characters x Trans reader

Spock, Kirk, Pike, Uhura

(i didn't know if you meant this in a romantic or platonic way. So i did romantic. However if you want platonic i can totally do that too)

Spock

Spock himself gets aggravated with his own body. Maybe not in the same way but in the way his ears are and little things like that. Always wondering if he looks too human or too vulcan that day.

He wouldn't be very vocally helpful. If anything if he tries to verbally comfort you. It would come out very monotone and not help much.

So when he sees you uncomfortable and agitated he would come up to you. "What is wrong. You seem to be aggravated at something"

you would tell him and he would just nod and if you two are very close. He would use his vulcan telepathy. In this he would understand how you are feeling. Then he would show you exactly how he sees you and lets be honest. he shows you and you look absolutely handsome/pretty.

Spock may not be good at verbal communication. But damn was he good at comforting you in other ways.

Kirk

This man is very charming. He could charm anyone to get exactly what he wants. However when it comes to you he is also very caring.

He would be hard at work and when his eyes land on you. Seeing how you were pulling at your shirt more than usual. Your breathing unsteady he would instantly know that somethings wrong.

He might not know exactly whats wrong but he had a good guess. So he would tell someone to take over for him. That person usually being Spock. Then he would go over to you.

he would try to cheer you up by going over to you and flirting with you. but when he saw that you barely smiled he took you somewhere and the two of you talked.

He would compliment you and its not in the way most would think. Many people would call him a womanizer and someone that just flirts to flirt. But when he compliments you. His voice is so sincere and he would just tell you exactly how he saw you.

Then when you would start to feel better he would kiss your lips and then go back to work after making sure you were okay.

Pike

Pike is a relatively observant man. After running things for so long you kind of have to be. So it doesn't take him long to notice something is off with you.

Unlike most of the others he wouldn't be so obvious about it.

When he would see you pull at your shirt and that you were uncomfortable with how tight your shirt was. He would just pass by and hand you a hoodie of his.

He really only had like two hoodies that he wore so whenever he let you wear one. You always felt special.

If you needed to talk all you had to do was give him a certain look across the room and he would understand. Giving control to Spock for a bit before taking you to another room.

Pike would mostly be a listener. He would ask what's wrong and let you talk. Talk until you were completely finished and then he would hold you close. His arms would be around you. One of his hands on the back of your head and the other on your back

He would hold you and then bring your hand up to his lips and place a kiss against it. Then he would spend some extra time in making you some food. Making sure you ate something before the both of you went back to work.

Uhura

Uhura is both Smart and confident. She would instantly know whats wrong and as soon as she finishes up what she's doing she comes to your aid.

she would grab ahold of your hand to stop you from picking at your skin. Or pulling against your shirt. There would honestly not be much words said at first. Just her saying "come here" then you would be in her arms in seconds.

The both of you would stay like that. Her head against your shoulder with your face buried in your neck. Just holding each other for a moment.

but when the both of you would pull away she would take your face in both of her hands and kiss your cheeks before pulling away and saying sweet things. Complimenting you and even complimenting your brain. About how smart you are too. She really would be so amazing.

Rules and Outline For Blog!

This is a mainly x reader blog! I will try to make the reader as ambiguous as possible (unless requested to do something specific) when it comes to gender, ethnicity, physical appearance ect. I will try super hard to not use Y/N and only use ‘you’ for the point of view, these are mainly just personal preference but i still felt it’s important to say!

While most of these will be romantic i’m more then willing to write platonic, familial, or another type of love! I want to try and include everyone, including aro/ace!

What I will write

-fluff

-angst

-reader (any gender, sexuality, ethnicity, etc!)

-some gore but not any gore centric content

- MAYBE some smut later down the line, i’m not confident in my ability to write it well

- polyamorous relationships

- AU’s

- almost anything else! If your not sure feel free to send an ask, i promise i won’t be mean.

What I won’t write

- Underage reader x adult character or vice versa (parents fics are okay but under no circumstances will i write romantic implications. If you request this i will block you.)

- No zoophiles

- no r@pe or SA, i personally don’t feel comfortable writing it even in passing

- romanticized toxic relationships, writing about a pass toxic relationship is okay to me but i refuse to place a toxic relationship in a positive light.

- incest of any kind

- self harm, heavy drugs/drinking. I’m okay if it’s a passive smoke session or drinking for setting but with my personal relationship with the previous listed i won’t be writing about them out side of that.

-Reader x Real Person Fiction! It’s one thing to think a person’s attractive but i feel like writing about them as if they were a character is a tad weird.

ok i need to go on a quick rant about x reader fics

so i like x reader. i've written a few x reader fics. i think it's fun and creative and a worthwhile artistic endeavor. but y'all have got to start properly labeling your x reader work.

i've read far too many fics that label themselves as "gender neutral reader", only to have the reader be called girlfriend/wife/wear a dress etc., or fics where the author doesn't mention the reader's gender at all in the description, only for the second paragraph to hit me with more she's and her's than i can count.*

if you want to write x f!reader, cool, all the more power to you, but tell the audience that it's going to be f!reader.

i am not even the littlest bit a woman, so if i start a fic that defaults to she/her pronouns and feminine titles without letting me know, that automatically excludes me (and a lot of other people) from the fic (not to mention makes me wildly dysphoric).

again, write all the x f!reader fic you want, write enough f!reader to fill libraries, but label it correctly.

*i know that none of these things are strictly "female" or "for women", and that neither clothes nor pronouns need to strictly adhere to someone's gender (hell, i'm a nonbinary person that exclusively uses he/him irl and dresses fairly masc), but to automatically choose descriptions that are most commonly associated with femininity and label them as "gender neutral" is, i think, transphobic. nonbinary people aren't "women lite". if you insist that these descriptions/terms are gender neutral, then i should be seeing just as many supposed gn!reader fics that default to having the reader wear suits and cologne.

Spencer had 3 main amazing talents. His eidetic memory, which allowed him to recall the tiniest visual details of the things he sees, even if briefly. Reid could also read 20,000 words a minute, finishing books that would take a regular person multiple days in only a few hours. These are well known about Spencer, but, his third talent is something only you’ve experienced. He has the ability to read your emotions perfectly.

If he hadn’t already explained that the ability to be a genuine mind reader would require factors that don’t exist in our world, you would’ve been sure he was one. No matter how insignificant the feeling, Dr. Spencer Walter Reid knew you felt it. So it was no suprise when he was already at the door when you arrived home, scooping you into a hug and kissing your forehead.

Daniel said something again didn’t he? You know, even after one transphobic comment the U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says that he can be fired. I’m sorry he does this Y/N, you deserve better. You let out a small chuckle as he continues to ramble about different papers and documents he’s read that could help. Just knowing how much Spencer wants to help makes the hurt you feel evaporate away for a bit.

I’m gonna be ok Spence, it just hurts to hear those things. Especially because he was a work friend before he found out I’m trans. You broke away from the hug to shrug the burgundy coat off your body, placing it on the coat rack before grabbing Spencer’s hand & walking towards your shared bedroom. I know Y/N, but you’re just too great of a guy to have to put up with hateful speech. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better? I just want to lay down and watch a show, is Star Trek alright? He smiles, matching the small one on your face as he nods.

Sounds perfect! Did you know that Star Trek actually has very little physics mistakes? Considering the time it was- Spencer’s phone rings, cutting off a rant you were honestly interested in hearing. He answers, the corners of his mouth dropping back down as he exhales. He nods his head a few times before excusing himself to the person on the other end of the phone. Sorry Hotch, just a moment. You’re now back to feeling the same disappointment you had earlier, Aaron only calls after 6:00pm when there’s a case.

Y/N, im so sorry, Reid cups your face with his left hand. There’s a briefing for a case, we leave early tomorrow. Please stay. You lean your face into his hand even more. I know it’s selfish, but I just don’t want to be alone…. Its not selfish. A quiet silence fills the moment. Spencer examines you for a second before placing a gentle kiss on your lips. He guides you onto the bed, pulling off your shoes and turning on Star Trek. He exits the room and moves the phone back to his ear. You sigh, knowing that the case is important or he would’ve stayed.

Surprisingly, Spence re enters about 10 minutes later, with waters and your favorite snack. I thought- I can read the case files on the flight tomorrow. There’s more than enough time and Hotch said he’d fill me in on any other information needed. You hug his side as he sits down, pulling yourself close enough to rest your head on his shoulder as you watch the show. Thank you Spence. It’s better when you’re here, the house is so cold when I’m alone. He turns your head to face his, you come first Y/N, always.

Both leaning in for a slightly intense kiss, time passes and you realize 1 and 1/2 episodes have played in the background. You two had got so caught up in eachother that the tv noise had been completely forgotten. Spencer shares one more peck, before turning back to the screen. I thought you just wanted to lay down and watch a show? We haven’t done very much of that have we? A snicker escapes you as your eyes roll playfully.

Alright, I know. You’ve seen this show a hundred times- 68 and 3/5ths. Reid beams at you as you raise an eyebrow. Ok, you’ve seen this show 68 & 3/5ths times, what’s happened so far in this episode?

He begins to tell you all the needed context for the episode, and then some extra. You lean back against his shoulder and you two hold the hands closest to eachother, the horrible day of work completely forgotten.

Spencer tended to do that. He made all your bad days turn into good ones. You knew no matter how many people tried to hurt you, to tear away your happiness, that people like Spencer Reid existed. People who spend everyday trying to fix this broken world. You knew that meeting Spencer and falling in love with him was the luckiest thing a guy like you could do.

You posed in the doorway, until your girlfriend noticed you were standing there. Until then, you watched her check herself out in the mirror, scrutinising every detail of her cosplay. It was redundant, really. One look and you could tell she looked like the sexiest female Kirk to ever exist. When she finally saw you, she jumped in surprise. Her eyes went wide as saucers and her smile lit up the whole bedroom. “Oh my gooood,” she squealed, before putting her hands on you. She felt up the fabric and squeezed your muscles underneath. “Wow Mr Spock, you are hot or should I say… stunning?”

You chuckled and rolled your eyes at her. The original Star Trek uniform was frankly just a colourful shirt with a logo on it, black pants and heeled boots. However, it worked and you had to admit, you also felt kind of sexy in it, especially with the hungry look in Ella’s eyes. The fact that you had not put on the wig and ears yet may have helped. You put your hands on her sides, just above where her yellow dress fanned out. “You look like you want me to send a multiphasic torpedo to penetrate your rift, captain.”

Ella bursted out into laughter. You could not keep a straight face for long, her laugh too contagious to keep your own in check. Ella leaned against you as she laughed her ass off. “Oh number one, aren’t you a charmer?” She joked back, before dragging you further into her bedroom. “I would love it if you explored my Jeffrey’s tube.” You almost fell over laughing.

“This is why I have been and always shall be your boyfriend; we’re both awful,” you giggled, while Ella pulled you in, until her bum hit the dresser.

“Shhh, number one, no one should know we’re breaking the frat regs,” she whispered while she sensually touched your lips with her finger. You smirked and slid your hands lower, before lifting Ella on top of the dresser. It was permanently empty for this very purpose.

Before another bad line could come out of her, you kissed her. She hummed into the kiss, arms wrapping around your neck. You rubbed her thighs, feeling her warm skin up. “Permission to lower your shields?” You grinned against her lips with your fingers hooked around her panties. Ella almost fell off the dresser laughing. She held onto your arms, giggling like a schoolgirl and nodding. With her help, you managed to get her panties off her. Ella pulled you back against her lips, kissing you eagerly, while your hands felt underneath her uniform. “Let me give you all I’ve got. Spread your nacelles,” you hummed against her lips.

She stopped abruptly with kissing you. “Excuse me, what?” You repeated what you said, slower this time. “What are nacelles?” You sighed, knowing you killed the mood and Ella’s curiosity always won over her sex drive.

“Nacelles are like the engines you see on the bottom of a plane’s wings. The Enterprise has also two. Kind of looks like legs to me.” “Oh those! They look like arms to me.” “Well, do you wanna spread your arms or legs?”

Ella, being the know-it-all, spread her arms, so you grabbed her below the arms and swung around to toss her onto the bed. “Lick… lick a…” She could hardly form words. “Lick a quantum sin… singularity in my… my transwarp conduit.” After getting the joke out, she accidentally hit you in the head with her knee, hard enough that you lost your balance and rolled right off the bed. “Oh my god! Are you ok?”

You lied on the floor next to the bed, still giggling and rubbing the side of your head. When you looked up, you saw Ella hanging over you, body still a little shaking from laughter, but she was looking worried as well. You sighed and nodded. “Yeah, but I think it would be highly illogical to dig it in there right now.”

Ella chuckled and shook her head. “All right, Mr Spock. Let’s wait until pon farr, before I let you beam into my cavern.” You scoffed and let her pull you off the floor and into her arms for another kiss.

We are a polymultiple DID system. Because this blog contains content that may cause harassment from 🐜is, we will not use our actual names or usual sign-off emojis here, nor will we share our main with anyone here.

This blog is for our fics (some linked from ao3, some onsite) that contain dark, violent, and sexual content - though we don't post anything that violates TOS here.

Expect to find written content containing: sibcon, dubcon, noncon, yandere (and other dere subtypes), self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, torture, major character death, along with x reader fics, f/o imagines, and more dark and "cringe" content. Cringe culture is dead btw. Block the tags and filter the words for any of these that bother you, and block if you need to, we won't be offended.

Our fandoms are: the locked tomb, legend of zelda, my little pony, undertale, my hero academia, rainbow high, keeper of the lost cities, frozen, supernatural, encanto, disney as a general, mcu, mario, sherlock, pokemon (swsh and sv mostly, though also the indigo and bw tv series a lil bit), sun haven, stardew, eragon, lord of the rings/tolkien, angelic layer, hamilton, fairy tail, madoka, yuki yuna, witcher, sao, arcane, legend of vox machina, star trek, star wars, divergent, sleepless domain, and probably more I'm forgetting rn.

As a note, we do also create fanworks for that wizard series. They will be tagged "that wizard series", so block that tag if you wish to avoid it. We do not support the creator nor giving her money, but as trans people in a system with members who are also in other affected groups, we feel it is our choice to continue engaging with the fandom aspect. That being said, we block and report and refuse to engage with transphobes.

We will update with a list of any NOTPs and subjects we will not write. We don't have a true DNI, because the only people we wish not to interact won't listen to one anyway (like bigots and people who think harassment is okay for any reason). We block liberally though.

Be aware that some works may romanticize or sexualize anything and everything, as we are very into traumakink and have found it incredibly healing for our own trauma. This may also include fetishes of anything and everything - we are disabled, fat, neurodivergent, and trans, among other things, and believe fetishes of identities are fine as long as you treat people like people and not sex objects for your consumption.

so im pretty excited abt ur abo kp fic which is new to me bc i normally dont care abt abo? this isnt shade or bullshit btw i hope i just wanted to ask how u conceptualize gender and sex in abo? tags on the notfic r 100% right btw more trans abo. im always put off by most abo for the idea that cis male omegas basically?? have a cloacae for an anus but also a dick? it feels too alien for a non paranormal genre. do u think anatomy ought to be addressed more or left to suspension of disbelief?

right straight off the bat we're putting this one behind a readmore, because i don't want to wig anyone out. a/b/o be weird.

essentially, the way i conceptualise a/b/o and how gender and sex work is:

male/female - usually identifiable at birth, with obviously some grey area in there for intersex people.

alpha/beta/omega - surfaces during puberty, at which point the body changes in whichever way the subgender inclines.

i usually write it that it's not really possible to tell how someone's subgender will present until it does, because i think the inherent tension between "this is how i was treated growing up" vs. "this is how people treat me now" gives the most room for social commentary, and character growth, which is one of my favourite parts of a/b/o. so everyone's body has the base potential to go any subgender way.

relatedly, one of my least favourite tropes in a/b/o is the trope where a character unexpectedly discovers they're an omega and they hate it and take drugs to make themselves a beta, and they wish they were a beta/alpha and as a reader i just have to sit there like, and the logical ending to this story ISN'T that they're trans????

in fact, this trope irritated me so much that i fully outlined and started writing an original fic where the main character gets the whoops! all omega! reveal and instead of hating it and hiding it, feels fulfilled and more comfortable in himself, because it enables him to put into words and be accepted for aspects of his gender identity that have existed his entire life.

ahem. omega biology. back on track.

male omegas are one of those fandom tropes that i just... choose not to look at too closely. science brain well and truly turned off. because of how the kinnporsche mpreg fic is structured (porsche not knowing he's pregnant, and not knowing he could become pregnant) -- we're probably looking at assbabies for that one, though i usually prefer to go the male omegas are intersex (and female alphas are, as well) route, just because it makes most sense to me. but -- this is fanfic. things only make sparing amounts of sense 20% of the time.

truthfully, i think the question of anatomy depends on the fic. i do think there is a level of suspension of disbelief that is needed to read a/b/o, but to me that's true of all sci-fi. a lot of genre studies essays on sci-fi talk about this idea of a novum, a point of divergence that makes the sci-fi story different from our world. it can be a thing, an idea, a hypothetical. for example, in mass effect, the novum is the mass drivers. in star trek it's the warp core. in the martian, it's leaving a man behind on mars. and with sci-fi, you're not meant to question the novum. it's the foundational part of the universe. sci-fi is the question, "what if [x] was different?"

so with a/b/o, the novum is, well, it's the a/b/o dynamics. "what if human reproductive biology was on crack?" the bits i'm interested in are the answers that spiral out from that question -- i'm not really focused all that much on the question itself.

but, like i said, it depends on the fic. if the fic's question is, "so, if we do have these a/b/o dynamics, how does the biology actually work?" then obviously it's a bit more relevant. but i've only seen one or two a/b/o fic that approach the matter like that.

read We are Legion (We are Bob) on recommendation from my family. it is hard to explain how much i felt this book sucked on every possible level

this is a book about meeting ur clone and yet fundamentally it fails to ask any interesting question about that proposition. Like 'how would different experiences change u' (they are ~quantumly~ different at birth so ones the sad one and ones the homebody one from 1s after creation, no experience needed) (characters do not grow and change). or even 'would you fuck your clone'!!!

bob software is at a nerd convention which is how we know we like him (but he ISN'T SMELLY and he ISNT WEIRD LIKE COSPLAYERS). he signs up to get cryogenic'd, talks to his family in the worst dialog of all time. then gets hit by a truck

he wakes up in the 2100s oh nooo the USA is gone the religious fascists took over. but not EPIC DOCTOR iforgethisname who watches star trek. anyways dr epic is like "yeah buddy we bought ur brain scanned it and we wanna make u a slavedroid. u don't have personhood but we can still be fwiends right. im secretly an atheist so u know im cool". anyways he does the minihungergames which involves controlling robots and whoever uses them best gets to live yayy. he does it because he can code. isn't that cool. dear reader can u code?? doesn't that make u better than ur friends? <- author

It tries to do a The Martian where yk, science helps somebody do cool sci fi shit. but the author is a software engineer who cannot imagine a discipline that couldn't be solved by a better App so fundamentally all the "science" is "i wrote a simulation" or "i wrote swarm-robot code and the robots built x".

It's transhumanism without the trans and without the humanism. this is a "humanist" tract that is fundamentally calvanist in its beliefs about the human capacity to change and grow. Brazilians are treated as a sinful inferior race with no possibility of redemption im not even fuckin kidding. the book sucks its dick off about pacifism and then says but maybe a racial cleansing of the rabid Brazilian is in order....

there is no sense of structure of climax. the last chapter arrives without fanfare being exactly as dull as all the other. was genuinely surprised when it was over

for an ostensibly hard sci fi book that is constantly fellatiating itself and the reader for how scientific they are, the space combat scenes demonstrate a shockingly nonexistent grasp of things like 'momentum'. in one chapter our heros are doing a strafing run at 0.2c. A conventional missile accelerates from a standstill to be right on their trails, at which point the heros do dogfighting shit in space, buzz the tower several times. then the book goes right back to sucking itself off by talking about how long it'd take to decelerate to orbital velocity

I will say in all my years of reading corny x reader shit the key to making an x reader be good seems to be

1) not pandering to as wide as an audience as possible

(The more blank and generic you make the main character, the more boring it is. Also feel free to pander 100% to yourself cuz a) it’s your writing you’re allowed to do that and b) more people have overlapping tastes with yours than you think.)

2) projecting the hell outta yourself onto the reader

(If it works for projecting onto characters it’ll work for an insert character. Keeps em more grounded and feel like an alive actual person than a plot device.)

Even if the audience isn’t necessarily putting themselves in the reader spot, they’re gonna stick around if the plot/porn/whatever is interesting enough. And you gotta be specific to be interesting yknow? A wall with a splotch of color is at least more interesting than a blank wall, even if the color isn’t my favorite I’ll probably still appreciate the way it draws my eye.

Case in point is an x reader I didn’t expect myself to read completely much less really enjoy is Like Real People Do. It’s a hollow knight/star trek cross over and I don’t even watch Star Trek nor intend to. But I was desperate for grollow content bored and gave it a shot.

The grollow hasn’t even come up yet completely but I don’t care because the rest of it is actually interesting. An explicitly trans reader! Which is kinda rare esp with pronouns! Said main character has self esteem issues and sub drops like a real person does! Relatable issues and reactions to things. Interpersonal conflict! Grimm is a she/he bigender icon! Some of the best porn I’ve read is in this for some reason??? Even at 2nd pov?? Seemingly an actual plot that isn’t teehee I like you and porn??? I dunno it’s a real study in how to use an x reader to explore interpersonal character dynamics and i for one find it good.

Additionally on that don’t pander to everyone note, don’t cookie cut the reader to the perfect personality match to whatever the ship is. Back in my quotev and wattpad days those boyfriend scenarios always made the edgy character have a generic hardass reader and the cutesy character have a generic sweet reader and it got old fast. Remember that each character is more than just “the other half” to a couple. Every single aspect of an insert shouldn’t be 100% tailored to what the character would like right off the back.

im just going thru posts on which ive left tags to make original posts and so on (and perhaps one day migrate these posts to my neocities...)

but yeah re: afab/amab terms being used to create and reinforce the existing gender binary in language that imitates progress...

truly do not think we should use acronyms anymore, as catgirltoes said

but also i think these terms are bad precisely because, superficially, it seems they apply to more than one kind of discussion.

like for example healthcare is an offender because you try telling a guy who had a vaginectomy to get a pap smear because he's afab. using body parts is an obvious alternative

for social stuff, just because you're assigned something at birth doesn't mean you're raised as such, e.g. trans kids whose parents and doctors realize it young enough. and of course the assignment/raising thing is a fraught thing w/ intersex people too but im not intersex so im not gonna go into detail about it. just use raised as a (girl/boy) for (length of time) and for the love of transgender jesus do not make it an acronym

and the biggest thing on tumblr ive seen is for nsfw works, like "x afab reader" is such a huge thing on here that i blocked "afab" just to get the "x reader" shit out. this shit pisses me off because so often they dont even try to pretend its not meant for anyone who isnt a cis woman

and of course the afab-only and amab-only (rarer, but the post im responding to says it happens) event shit is just so.

First impressions of Tumblr's new login updates to the web

Opens on the "Explore" page, I guess it's nice because you can see what's on Tumblr before signing up

The new "Email first, password on next screen" layout does not work with Firefox's password manager

I use FF Relay for my email, so I need the email to auto-fill, but it does not

Suggestions

Separate the log-in from the sign-up. Right now they are already two different buttons that lead to the same action.

Put the email and password fields on the same page, and make sure they work with password managers.
