I reached the transition goals I had as a younger teen (skinny transmasc with androgynous haircut who looks like he's dying)
Only to realize I would rather be a toned dude with long hair who looks like he knows how to cook
(also I only got to my "ideal" transition by being extremely unhealthy and hitting some of the worst points of my adult life so)
But for real I look in the mirror and think "wow. I'm exactly what I wanted when I was younger and now I don't recognize myself"
Like it is so painfully clear to me that I am unwell, and I don't like it
I'm doing better, I am getting better, but the circles under my eyes have formed little wrinkles I am fully aware will not go away when I'm better
I'm not upset about that, it's just kinda sad to me that it took getting this far to realize what I thought I wanted to look like wasn't what I wanted
I think I thought "I want to be a twink who looks like he's dying" because that's all I could ever see me becoming, not because I actually wanted it
That and there's a weird push for transmasc to fit certain molds and I didn't see myself in any of the other molds other than this one so I settled

Nonbinaryn't Pride Flag
Nonbinaryn't: an umbrella describing folks that are not nonbinary.
Not essentially the same as being binary (aptobinary), as there are anonbinary people (those who are not nonbinary nor binary). It can be used in nequent and/or conformant ways.

The body is fem-passing.
I myself am demi-fin.
I (occasionally) use feminine terms.
But if you perceive me as a woman, I will gouge your eyes out :)
I am a polyfluid demi-fin(gender)+caedogender+demongender being.
There's a reason I say I'm sapphic and not a lesbian (ignoring the gynesexual/gyneromantic "being attracted to femininity regardless of gender identity/expression and/or sex" part that is...)
I am not a woman. I am not non-binary. I am definitely not a man.
You can (and will) refer to me first and foremost as a demon. A rather effeminate demon, but "woman" is a human term.
I am very normal about gender and self-identity...

With @staff 's recent post saying 1/4 of this site is LGBTQ going around, I'd like to see what the actual demographic is
So!
Please reblog for bigger sample size!

When I say nonbinary people can look like anything I am aggressively including nonbinary people who have beards, body hair, and who are assumed to be cis guys, firstly because that’s also me and secondly because we’re always overlooked or subjected to cringe culture. Nonbinary doesn’t just mean skinny, pale and absent of gender signifiers.
[Don’t be an ass in the notes, I can turn off comments if I have to]

I think that if you asked Shaggy what his gender was he'd say "you're, like, livin' in a prison of your own creation, man" and then eat a huge sandwich in one bite

I've been seeing a disturbing number of "queer safe spaces" describe themselves as things like "femme & them" and even worse "she+," conflating femininity & nonbinaryhood. cease this immediately. say it with me: nonbinary people are NOT women-lite and it is extremely violent and straight up incorrect to imply that all they/thems are fem adjacent. this is erasure and this verbiage does nothing but make gnc and nonbinary spaces unsafe for masc and male nonbinary people. nonbinary, genderqueer and other third gender people can be and are masculine and men, we can be hes as well as shes and theys, stop allowing yourself and your peers to view nonbinary as woman/femme-lite, signed a butch nonbinary person.
