Playtime
 @ginnyweatherby and I have some of the best brainstorm moments I have ever known and it was through one of those moments that the idea for this one shot came about! I always love writing about Gus and Juli being silly with their kids when they were little, so this was a dream to write! Hope you like it!
~
Glancing up from the cardigan she was in the middle of knitting at the sound of thundering feet and infectious laughter above her, Julieta looked over at the clock on the wall and a knowing smile appeared on her face when she noticed what time it was. It was ten-to-eight, very nearly time for her daughters to be put to bed, and the two of them were once again engaged in their favourite game with their father. She had no idea how the game came to be, to be honest, but it seemed as though he had done it one night purely to be funny and the girls had loved it and demanded he played it with them for ten minutes each night before they had to go to bed.
It gave them some much-needed quality time with their papí and tired them out in the process, so it was a win-win situation.
If there was an aim to this game of theirs, however, then she honestly had no idea what it was and they had been playing it for ages. All she knew was that it started off as something resembling a game of tag and then it turned into pure chaos when he succeeded in catching them. He would tickle them and smother them with kisses, causing them to squeal and giggle and try to wriggle away from him, and she was forever having to tell the three of them to quieten down just a little before they woke the whole of the Encanto up. Her girls always complained a bit at that, but they soon cheered up when she promised them a bedtime story once they were in bed.
“Mamí! Mamí!”
Reaching over to set her knitting down on the arm of the settee, she traced the curve of her growing bump with a hand and laughed when she turned her head to see her daughters running towards the sitting room as fast as their little legs could carry them. Roses were falling from Isabela’s hair, leaving a long trail through the courtyard, and Luisa had her thumb in her mouth while she dragged her treasured teddy bear behind her. It was on the tatty side and only had one eye due to a tragic accident, but she loved that thing. She wrapped her arms tight around them both when they reached her, allowing them to cuddle against her chest while they giggled.
“Papí is going to get us, mamí, papí is going to get us!” Isa told her, pushing an errant curl from her face as she breathed heavily.
“Standing around here isn’t going to do you much good then, princesas, is it?” Julieta teased.
“But you can protect us, mamí, you can keep us safe!” Luisa explained, taking her thumb from her mouth to pat her knee.
Julieta nodded in understanding. “I see. Where-“
Before she could even ask her question, her esposo appeared in the doorway to the sitting room and she felt her heart skip a beat. His shirt sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, a couple of buttons on his shirt were undone, his hair was an utter mess and she was sure he had never looked more gorgeous. “You two are getting to be far too fast for your poor old papí, you know,” He puffed as he leant against the doorframe for a second, putting on a complete show of catching his breath which only made his girls laugh all the more. “I have you trapped now though, thankfully, you have nowhere else to go and you know what that means. It means that I win.”
“No!” Luisa argued as she and Isa climbed up onto the settee to sit with their mother. “Mamí is playing now and she’ll protect us!”
“Are you?” Agustín raised an eyebrow at his wife and gave her a smile.
Julieta shrugged. “I have no idea how I managed to get myself roped into this – I never do – but it definitely seems as though I am.”
“Maravilloso!” He rubbed his hands together with happiness. “Surely, that means mamí should be on my team.”
“No! Mamí is on our team! Why should she be on your team?” Isabela frowned while crossing her arms over her chest.
“Because, mi pequeña mariposa, I married her and that means she is on my team by default. Plus, I’m outnumbered already, so…”
“Ay, Agustín, they’re only little.”
“Sí, papí, we’re only little!” Isabela and Luisa reminded him, encouraged by their mother.
He huffed, slowly starting to approach them. “You are, but do you know what your being so little means?”
Isabela and Luisa looked at one another and then back at him. “What…?”
“You are the perfect size to steal!” He grabbed Luisa before she had time to react and immediately began tickling her, nearly getting himself deafened by her squeals as he held her tight to his chest and fell backwards into the armchair with her. He covered her face with quick kisses, chuckling along with her when she arched her back and fought with all the strength she could muster to get away.
“Let her go! Let her go! Let her go!”
Try as he might, he was unable to keep himself from chuckling louder when Isa jumped into his lap and started whacking him with a cushion she had taken from the settee. His glasses almost flew from his face at one point, but he somehow managed to wrestle the cushion from her hands and grab her with his free arm, dragging her to his chest and starting to tickle her ribs as relentlessly as he was her hermanita. “Mamí! Mamí, you need to…” Luisa managed to get out between bouts of laughter. “You have to try and save us!”
“You are the worst protector ever!” Isabela added.
Julieta only laughed as she got a little more comfortable against the cushion propped up against her back, rubbing circles onto her belly as her baby moved. “I hope you know what you signed up for, deciding to be born into this familia,” She said, looking down at her stomach. “I promise you, once you are born you are never going to know a moment’s peace again. Not with those three anyway.”
“Hey!”
“Hey!”
“Hey!”
Focusing her attention on her family again at their sounds of protest, she smirked at the way the three of them were looking at her. “I think you should get mamí, papí, that would be funny,” Luisa told him, patting his chest. “You should tickle her like you tickle us!”
Agustín chuckled nervously. “I think I might pass on that one, mi vida, I could do without another broken nose.”
“Ay, it has been over a decade, would you let that go? Besides, it was your own fault! Who sneaks up on somebody and tickles them?”
“I thought it would be graciosa. I was trying to surprise you!”
“You did surprise me,” Julieta reminded him. “You also got a surprise of your own out of my response, so I consider us even.”
Leaning in towards her sister, Isabela lowered her voice and said: “Remind me to never, ever tickle mamí.”
Luisa nodded, wide-eyed.
“Oh, mi princesa, I would never hurt you!” Julieta assured her little girl, a giggle in her voice.
“So, you just save that for your esposo?” Agustín teased.
“In my defence, your nose is a little on the big side. Not easy to miss.” She winced.
Agustín threw his hands up. “I feel so blessed to have such a loving esposa.”
“I would not be going through this for a third time if I didn’t love you, Agustín Madrigal, I assure you of that.” She stroked her bump.
He failed to hide his smile as he scooped their girls up in his arms and carried them over to the settee, his love for them deepening as they rubbed their eyes with the backs of their hands before taking hold of the front of his shirt and closing their eyes while he sat down beside his wife. He made himself comfortable, tightening his hold of them both, and then turned his head in Julieta’s direction only to find himself caught in one of the softest kisses known to man. “Not that I’m complaining…” He took a moment to gather his thoughts when their kiss ended and she shuffled back into her own space, smiling up at him. “But what was that for? What did I do?”
“You were you,” She shook her head. “I love how you make time for them even when you feel tired. I love them laughing like that.”
“I have no words for how much I love them. For how much I love you,” He admitted as he ran his hands along their daughters’ backs, lulling them further and further into a restful slumber while looking into her eyes. “All I wanted when I came here was this. I wanted to find a beautiful, marvellous woman to make my own and start a familia and I have done both those things. This place is magical.”
She tried so hard to behave, she really did, but she couldn’t resist. “No, you don’t say…”
He gave her a playful nudge. “I know you know exactly what I mean.”
“I do,” She nodded as she leaned her head against his shoulder, feeling him kiss her brow. “I wanted you from the second I saw you.”
“Juli, you only saw me because I fell on my face and a crowd of people gathered around me to make sure I wasn’t dead.” He said.
“I know, but I also know you fell on your face because you were too busy staring at me to look where you were going.” She smirked.
He hummed, unable to argue with that. “I was mad about you back then and nothing has changed.”
“Te amo.”
“Yo también te amo. Now, what do you say we put these two dormilonas to bed and treat ourselves to an early night for once?”
“You know,” She tilted her head back on his shoulder, brushing her lips against his. “That is the best idea you have ever, ever had…”

I don't feel angry, I don't feel anything anymore Of what you already know And look, you know that well, my dear As much as I tried
And saying I love you now is stranger But it's even stranger to see you far away Put our love on a shelf
I had to unlearn how to like you so much And I know you cry, But I have to leave now

Julieta: Ay, mija you are ever so tall! It only seems yesterday when you were only Toñito's size.
Luisa: You'll make Isa remember her despair mamà.
Julieta: Oh, I feel the same way. *laughs* You know, you always wanted to be carried back then. We were practically attached to the hip.
Luisa: *laughs bashfully* Mamà, not so loud.
Julieta: So what? You're still mí bebé even though you can carry me now.
•••••
Julieta: You can tell me anything, mí flor.
Isabela: I just don't see myself to be worthy of the miracle, mamá. I feel like I haven't done enough.
Julieta: You have done your best, mija. You don't need to try so hard. You are enough and I am so proud of the woman you have become.
Isabela: ....what if I don't want to be the person that I am now, mamá...
Julieta: Isabela, I loved you the moment I knew you were coming into my life until I first held you in my arms... and I love you now, and nothing in this world can change that.

So I finally found caps that I could fuse to make my desperation come to life! Here's another round of Mamà Julieta content! Pardon my English hehe

Encanto Headcanon- Dating Camilo would include... (Camilo Madrigal x GN! Reader)
Hey everyone!! Today I decided to write an Encanto Headcanon about dating Camilo. This is fully based on what I know about the Madrigals and what I imagine dating Camilo would be like. I obviously got some inspiration from other writers, but no one specific.
Anyways, enjoy! -Bar
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dating Camilo Madrigal would include... part 1 (before the movie)
~ You guys met at Luisa’s last birthday, and you looked breathtaking.
~ Camilo couldn’t get himself to go talking to you, so he just adored you from afar as long as he wasn’t focused on Antonio.
~ You saw the cute curly boy around your age playing with Antonio and couldn’t help your smile. It was just too cute!
~ You blushed, hard, when he looked up and met your gaze; you looked away already, so you couldn’t see, but his cheeks turned red, too.
~ “Hey, Mirabel, who’s this?” You asked her and pointed to Camilo.
~ She had a mischievous smile as she told you it’s her cousin, Camilo. What was she palnning?
~ Later that night, Camilo heard from Mirabel you asked about him.
~ “Y\N? Is this the person who was dancing here earlier with Y\F\M (your fav Madrigal except for Camilo)?” -”Yep. They’re right there, go talk to them”
~ You were very surprised when Camilo was tripping to where you set. His face were red and his hair and clothes were messy from the dancing, but you still found him very attractive.
~ Camilo was still stunned by you, but he managed to say a few complete sentences. You were so nice and easy to talk to, his shyness faded away, and you two had a long, enthralling conversation.
~ And of course, once his flirty self came back, he used the countless amount of pickup lines he knew on you.
~ “You know who you’re reminding me of? My next S\O”
~ “Do you believe in love at first tight or I should walk by again?”
~ “I don’t like your last name. You should change it to Madrigal”
~ (and so on...)
~ As you two kept talking and laughing, Camilo couldn’t help falling for you harder and harder.
~ By the end of the night, he knew for sure he’s in love. But he didn’t know if you felt the same, and it made him nervous and anxious.
~ He went to talk to Dolores about it, and ended up getting advices from her and all of his cousins, who had a sleepover.
~ Eventually, they helped him planning how to ask you out, not knowing you just waited for him to do it.
~ Long story short, he asked you out, you said yes, and now he was supposed to take you on your first date.
~ He found the perfect glade and asked Isabela to find out what’s your favorite flower (Isabela: *rolling her eyes* I already know what’s their favorite flower) and grow it all over te place, but leave a space big enough to do picnics or just hang out for a while.
~ Isabela agreed, and the next day everything was ready.
~ Mirabel decorated Camilo’s ruana and your favorite y\f\c\p (your favorite clothing piece- skirt, pants, shirt, etc), Isabela made them a crown of Y\F\F (your favorite flower), Luisa brought a basket full of Julieta’s best foods and desserts and Dolores prepared you to the meeting with the Madrigals- especially Abuela and Pepa.
~ Pepa was excited, of course, when Camilo said you two are going on a date, and Felix made sure she doesn’t rain all over you; but it was hard, considering how excited he also was to see his son going on a date.
~ Everyone were so happy to see Camilo’s smile when he looked at you, and they were excited to know the person Camilo fell in love with.
~ After everyone (and their gifts) were introduced, Camilo took you away. He loved his family, but he knew they would stay there forever if he won’t take you on your date.
~ You started walking in the forest until you found the glare- well, Camilo was walking, you had a blindfold while Luisa carried you after him so it’ll be a surprise. (You weren’t too happy about it, but you were really curious about where he takes you now).
~ When Camilo took off your blindfold, you gasped at the breathtaking sight- thousands of y\f\fs in all of the colors possible were growing at the glare in circles, leaving a little space of emerald-green grass. It was beautiful, amazing, nothing like anything you imagined or seen- and you chose to show your gratefulness by kissing Camilo on the cheek. You were both blushing when you whispered “thanks, Cami”, but you got yourselves out of it quickly and started settle on the grass.
~ Apearantly Julieta packed them everything they needed: food, water, a picnic blanket and pillows- “for the time sitting down starts to hurt”, as the notes sticked to the pillows said.
~ They were having a great time, and just before the dark they packed their things in the basket again and started walking back, still laughing and talking.
~ Camilo walked y\n to their house, kissing them on the cheek for goodbye and made sure they went in and their parents were there to take them to bed, and onlt then went back to Casita. When he told his parents about it, they hugged him and told him how proud they are of him and the gentleman he grew up to be.
~ After the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th date, Camilo finally asked Y\N to be his s\o. You, of course, said yes, and his family couldn’t be happier... literally: Pepa made rainbows everywhere; Isabela was going around town spreading flowers of any kind, color and shape; Julieta didn’t stop making desserts to heal the town; Luisa was so excited she always used too much power to lift everything (and caused several accidents that way); Dolores squeaked whenever she heard one of you talking about the other; Antonio always let you play with his animals; Mirabel made you a new y\f\c\p; Agustin and Felix told you it’s okay to be an outsider who has no gift and they can join the club once they marry Camilo (which made you turn red like a tomato); and Abuela just smiled as she watched you- she saw the same love she and Pedro had, this teenager made her first male grandson happy and that gave her peace- even though she thought they weren’t good enough for Camilo.
~ But as Camilo started dated Y\N, Isabela decided to have her revenge at him for all the years of teasing her.
~ Every time Y\N came to Casita, Isabela would stand at the door, sing “CAMILO, YOUR S\O’S HERE” as loud as she can and create a flower statue of you, laughing.
~ You didn’t understand why is makes Isabela laugh and Camilo get so mad he turned into her and moked her, but after Isabela explained you what happened you found that funny too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s been FOREVER since I posted here. My next thing will probably be part 4 of CLUELESS cuz I’m very nice
Anyways ily and hope you’ll enjoy!

Encantober Day 21: Age
She was twenty-five years old. One day, she had been married to the love of her life; eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little blessing, which turned out to be little blessings. The next, she was widowed and alone with three babies, far away from the home where she had grown up. How she was supposed to do this alone, she couldn’t say. It would have been hard enough raising triplets with help. Every day, she passed by the portrait of Pedro that had somehow been hanging up in the house as soon as it rose out of the ground, running her hand along the frame lovingly. Whenever she did that, the stairs did a tap dance in response. She had a sneaking suspicion that the house and Pedro were connected, but she shook it off, figuring she was just sleep deprived. Taking care of three babies was hard, but to see them growing every day, discovering the world around them…
He should have been here for this.
___
She was twenty-six years old. Today was her birthday. The first one since…well. Since they had moved to their encanto. She didn’t feel up to celebrating, but the townspeople had graciously dropped off some food and a cake they had made for her. Chocolate, her favorite. Pedro’s favorite too. He’d had such a sweet tooth. Alma could barely finish any sweets she had without him trying to steal them from her. Still, she thought sadly, she would give him this entire cake just to have him back again. She would give anything.
 He should have been here for this.
___
She was twenty-six years old. The triplets were turning one. They had grown so much! Despite being the same age, they were so different. Pepa was the easiest to tell apart. She was fair and had tufts of red hair sticking out all over her head. Out of the three, she’d been the first to talk, and she cried the loudest. If you dared ignore her, she’d scream like la Llorona. Bruno had started walking first, but he was by far the quietest. Alma had to keep a special eye on him to keep him from getting hurt. Julieta had beautiful big brown eyes and dark brown curls. She’d burbled happily before she could talk and kept reaching out her chubby little hands towards others. Oh, the townspeople adored them! The celebration they gave to the three miracle babies of the encanto was unforgettable. But there was one part she wished she could forget.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was thirty years old. Somehow, she had made it through the triplets’ infancy and toddlerhood. Surely it would be easier from here on out. If anything, all four of them were sleeping through the night, even Pepa, who’d had a few rough months. Of course, hope was futile; a lesson she should have learned five years prior. On the triplets’ fifth birthday, she awoke to three brand new doors, shimmering mysteriously in the hallway. When she went to inspect them, she saw that each doorknob had a different letter carved into it- the triplets’ initials.
By this point, the children had woken up and followed her to the doors. Pepa’s big green eyes lit up with joy as she opened the door to her new room. Suddenly, she realized she had her own personal rainbow hanging over her head. Shouting in shock, she backed away.
That was when Bruno unexpectedly warned her that she’d trip over the banister.
Indeed, Pepa went tumbling over, sliding down the stairs and skinning her knee. Immediately, she broke out into tears, and was even more surprised to feel rain rolling down her cheeks alongside her tears.
Julieta ran down the stairs and went into the kitchen, grabbing an arepa that had been waiting for breakfast. She offered it to Pepa, the way she’d seen Alma do when they got hurt, to distract her from her pain. As soon as she took a bite, the redness on her knee cleared up and the skin healed over.
Alma almost fell over in shock herself. Without any rational explanation, her children had somehow seemingly acquired abilities that were nothing short of magic. Pepa affected the weather. Julieta could heal. And Bruno…could he see the future? Ay. She rubbed her temples. Things wouldn’t be easy after all.
That night, when she brushed her hair before bed, she noticed her first gray hair. The first sign she was getting older.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was forty years old. Amazingly, she had managed to keep her three magical children alive and they getting ready for Julieta and Pepa’s quinceañera. A joint party, of course, but one so lively that no one would miss a second party. Sometime in the last few years, it felt like the veil over Alma’s life had lifted. Colors brightened. Shapes sharpened. And music sounded sweet again. For the first time in a long time, she had allowed herself to dance again. She missed her Pedro, but there was nothing she could do to bring him back. Besides, she and the children had survived. They were safe, and more than safe- they were thriving! Thanks to the triplets’ magical gifts, Alma could give back to the community that had supported them through those first few perilous years. She could try to pay back the massive debt she had accumulated that weighed on her for all those years.
And so she danced! Despite the many quiet years, her feet remembered the steps and carried her from one song to the next. The twinge of pain in her knees was new; she’d certainly never experienced that before while dancing. But no matter; she wouldn’t let it ruin her night! Just like she wouldn’t let the way Pepa swished her skirts around when boys were watching ruin it. Or the way Bruno danced with Julieta because otherwise she’d spend much of the night sitting. These girls needed their papá around; to raise them, to love them, to show them what a man was supposed to be. To dance with them on their special night.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was forty-seven years old. It was Pepa’s wedding day. Pepa would be marrying a wonderful man; one who loved her and would take care of her like Pedro promised to do for Alma. Her heart was overflowing with joy for her daughter. Even though the hurricane had been catastrophic, at the end of the day, Pepa had gone home with her husband. And Alma had not.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was fifty years old. This time it was Julieta’s wedding day. She too was marrying a man who promised to love her and cherish her, through anything life would throw at them. Her wedding had been a calmer affair, though no less joyous. Alma laughed, and she cried, and she wasn’t sure which one was giving her more wrinkles around her eyes. But just like Pepa, Julieta did not have her papá at her wedding.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was fifty-three years old. Her first grandchild, a beautiful baby girl, had just been born. Julieta cradled her proudly, humming to soothe her as the baby cried. Alma couldn’t keep the tears out of her own eyes. She was a grandmother. Soon, any day now by the looks of Pepa’s belly, she’d be one again. A joy she should have shared.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was fifty-five years old. Another granddaughter was born. Alma rocked her to sleep in her arms, ignoring the way her joints would seize up sometimes. Their family had been so blessed over the years.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was fifty-eight years old. Isabela, who had just turned five, got a gift of her own! She could make the most beautiful flowers appear. Just like the ones Pedro gave to her. Shortly after, little Dolores also got a gift; able to hear anything no matter how quiet. The magic was growing.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was fifty-nine years old. Her eyesight was growing weaker, but there was no mistaking that this newest Madrigal baby, with his crooked grin and floppy curls, would be beautiful, just like his mamá and papá. Even after all these years, Alma instinctively turned to her side to hand him the baby.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was sixty years old. Another wonderful baby girl. Alma felt something special as she held her in her arms. The girl looked up at her with large inquisitive eyes. She would have been Pedro’s favorite, Alma knew in her heart.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was seventy years old. They had not been expecting any more little blessings, but Antonio had decided to surprise them all, with his wild curls and infectious smile. Alma felt her back stoop as she held him. Even at such an old age, she was blessed to see new life begin. But she wished she could have been blessed to share that old age with her love.
He should have been here for this.
___
She was seventy-one years old.
She was seventy-two years old.
She was seventy-three years old.
She was seventy-four years old.
She was seventy-five years old.
He should have been here for this.
He should have been here for this.

Hello, are you still accepting applications? If you keep accepting, you can do one in which the Madrigal x reader family, who is the daughter of Pepa or Juliet, goes to Nevermore Academy.
(I'm going to make these headcanons, but a little more storyish. Also this is going to be platonic.)
Platonic! Yandere Madrigal family with Pepa's daughter being a student of nevermore academy
Tumblr media
(I'm sorry, I wasn't sure how to word the title lmao.)
Tw: Platonic yandere, platonic yandere family, stalking?, Unhealthy obsession, yandere themes.
You never really saw the point of going to Nevermore, you were never seen as a outcast to others, more of a blessing. But that's not how your mother and father and the rest of the family saw it.
You always felt you were out of place at the school, even though it was meant for outcasts. But you weren't one of these people, you weren't a outcast at all. It actually hurt you a little when your family decided to send you here.
You were the only one in the entire family who went here, why? Did your family just not care about you?
Oh but they did care, but just not in a way that you would see. They also protected you without you even knowing, they sent your own brother, Camilo everyday to shapeshift into a student and keep a close gaze on you.
Camilo would tell them what he saw, making sure to tell them of any possible threats that could of harmed you.
You were safe under their watch without even knowing it, and they wanted it to stay that way...

What I said: “If I were to make a LMK oc, I was thinking that maybe should make a character with a butterfly motif.”
What I actually mean: Make an Encanto x LMK crossover or at least make a Mirabel inspired oc. But for now have an Encanto x LMK crossover because I think they should hang out.

Bruno goes back inside the walls to do dress rehearsals for his rat telenovelas in private, but he forgets that there are now two nosy mfs in Casita with really good hearing. (Macaque would love Bruno’s rat telenovelas. You can’t change my mind.)

Sandy enjoys being able to understand how much Mo loves him through Antonio’s gift.

Julieta and Pigsy trade recipes. Julieta picks up hand-pulled noodles like a pro because of course she does, but Pigsy is apprehensive on the method flipping arepas with his bare hands… hooves… like he saw Julieta do.

Muscular softies (Sandy’s so hard to draw 🥲)

Camilo and MK have a shapeshifting competition, but Camilo gets humbled real quick by the Monkey King.
I wanted to make another drawing of Mirabel embroidering a dragon on a jacket for Mei, but I’m too tired.

I wanna do a collection of one shots about the Madrigal kids and their parents when they were all little - inspired by my hc that Isabela got herself tangled up in her vines CONSTANTLY when she was little because I need that in my life.
If any of you guys have any suggestions for chapters - like for any of the kiddos and their gifts or just funny moments within the family, let me know. I would be happy to do them :)

Félix Madrigal headcanons because it was his birthday recently
Félix Madrigal, random headcanons
!english isn’t my first language, so there can be some grammar mistakes that I am sorry for in advance!
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
sings in the shower
knows how to play tennis
knows how to tap dance
used to use the “here comes the airplane” feeding method when his kids were just toddlers
biggest girl dad
used to do Dolores’ hair all the time when she was little, she still sometimes lets him do it
probably the only person who was never fooled by Camilo’s shapeshifting powers
biggest romantic and gentleman
doesn’t like corn
loves when Pepa kisses him on the forehead, loves the height difference in general and never fails to show Pepa that
became very protective when Dolores started going out with Mariano
has a lot of hats and sombreros as he wore them almost everyday when he was younger
the red neckerchief Antonio wears used to belong to Félix
whenever he’s proud of his children he pats them on the shoulder and says “that’s my boy/girl” and walks away, it’s a small gestures but Dolores, Camilo and Antonio know it means a lot
he’s not the type of parent to break his kids up when they’re fighting, he stands on the side and watches because he finds their bickering amusing
has a very warm laugh
makes the bed very carefully, won’t let there be a single wrinkle on the sheets
when he sweeps, he dances with the broom
used to work as a shoeshiner in his teens
speaks with his mouth full
wasn’t nervous when meeting Alma for the first time, she actually became very fond of him very fast
gives the best hugs
whenever something exciting happens to Mirabel, tío Félix would be the first person she’d tell
these two are actually quite close as Mirabel would spend a lot of time with her dad and tío when she was younger, they were comforting her a lot after she didn’t get a gift
him and Isabela usually get into debates on various topics at dinners, when that happens the rest of the family just listens to them
MASTERLIST
happy birthday Félix! <3

Forever
Yandere Madrigal family x reader
Tumblr media
Your eyes slowly started open, then you saw the whole Madrigal family, before you. "Wait w-what's-" "no need to worry Amor" Julieta cut you off. "B-but-" then you had once again been cut off but, by Isabela this time. "No but's darling you're are ours now" you then asked " what if someone comes to finds me?" "we'll deal with that when that happens mi Vida" Camilo replied. You started to struggle a bit until you realized the restraints were too tight. "It's no use doll, you can't leave us" Dolores stated possessively. You gulped in fear, scared of what they were going to do.
Once they left the room you decided to escape, reaching to your back pocket, pulling out your pocket knife. And then, just barley being able to cut through the ropes. Once you hacked your way through the ropes, you opened the window attempting to climb out but saw the height.
You swallowed all your fear and then jumped, pain shot through your legs. But, you ignored it. You heard the distance calls of the Madrigal family follow, it only made you run faster. But you, tripped and then sprained your ankle. You tried to drag yourself away but, had gotten picked up by strong arms, being Luisa's.
"Look at you, you hurt yourself. You need to be more careful!" Luisa scolded you, she then quickly brang you back to the family. Everyone then quickly hugged you, Julieta then gave you some of her food. Making your ankle heal, Luisa then put you down. Suddenly you felt tired and a bit drowsy, you then fell to the ground, your world fading to black. The Madrigal family only smiling. You were theirs now, forever
