hi! the freemanverse discord is possibly hosting a hunger games simulator thingy and i was wondering if i could put in beastrey and data characters/tributes apart of the game? not sure if it will go public but i thought i should ask anyway whether you allow this for public play or private play! if yes, is it possible to use cropped art of your characters for the headshots with proper credit? if not, is it permissible to create my own art of your characters and use that? i'd love to hear from you as i adore your characters and would love to include them in content and fanworks such as this and fanfiction, etc.!

virtual snow

Here it is! I messed up on the first one cuz a sticker accidentally got dropped on it and I couldn’t take it out so I had to redo it, but since my printer ink is kinda weird I saw I could actually take away the color with sticky surfaces so I just went crazy with it and added the smaller sticker on top. Kinda reminds me of a mood board lol!

Thank you for letting me do this! It sucks that my printer wasn’t able to get the colors right. Maybe if I get a better one in the future I would totally love to redesign this and show you! I love your AU and the music you’ve made for it! It’s such a banger that I find myself listening to it while I draw! Again thank you for letting me do this! 🫶💕💕💕💕

Beastrey for @egelskop 's AU: Augmented Reality. (Yes, I listened to the music album on repeat.) This was supposed to be a warm-up and it turned into another day of "I made that???" and "wish I saved a speedpaint :/" I've wanted to work with contrasting colors for a while and this was the perfect chance!

ok. honestly? if it weren't for kogodogo's Human Resources Violation I probably wouldn't have fallen face first into general hlvrai fandom space. it changed me.

idk. i'm not a diehard shipper, but as characters they're super funny to me to put together. so yes i do spin them around in my mind at very high speeds. strictly as a bit.

been curious if any of the songs are tied to or are meant as background to any specific points in the storyline of the au? sort of like a movie soundtrack?

it's more so that i associate different musical parts with different characters and their personalities, but in all honesty i wasn't seriously thinking about the story of the AU until 'All Unsaved Progress', which is where i started to puzzle things together from the vague "plot" (which was 98.8% just vibes and Epic visuals) i had in my mind back then.

i do see 'Connection Failed' as the big culmination of both the album (with motifs from all the other tracks) and the story (the 'final battle' where Gordon fights Beastrey and Data to save Josh), which is very directly mirrored in the visuals of the video. But aside from that I wouldn't say I explicitly intended for any other track to be tied to a specific plot point/sequence of events. I'd love for folks to feel free to interpret it in any way that fits their preference, tho .)

that aside, i'd say that musically i personally associate Beastrey with more high tempo parts and high pitched melodic bell and synth sounds, while i associate Data with lower, droning bass synths and a slower tempo. there's some narrative layers in there, but it's a lot to write down concisely lol..................... feel da music in your soul..... cheers...................................
