y/n had walked back into Alexia's flat, ignoring her sister's call and moved into her room. Alexia followed, brows furrowed as she hadn't expected her sister to be back so soon.

"y/n?" Alexia called as she followed her sister who had moved into the bathroom, and sunk into the shower, pressing her back against the wall as she stared at her hands and sunk to the floor.

Alexia paused, knowing full well that this was a habit her sister had picked up when she was younger when suffering panic attacks so joined her sister on the floor of the turned off shower.

"She kicked me out." y/n whispered quietly. "She was so scared, so she kicked me out." y/n says again, her head in her hands, Alexia's face drops, guilt flooding her.

"She was scared?" Alexia asks and y/n nods. "Of me?" She asks again and y/n nods with a sigh.

"Pensé que ella lucharía por mí, por nosotros. Porque lo haré, tengo que hacerlo. Pero ella me dejó ir." y/n says quietly.

I thought she'd fight for me, for us. Because I will, I have to. But she let me go.

"Necesita tiempo, sólo necesita tiempo para prepararse." Alexia tells her sister and y/n lets out a shaky breath.

She needs time, she just needs time to prepare for it.

y/n just scoffed, running a hand over her face as Alexia pulls her into her side, hoping to keep her breathing steady, y/n let her sister pull her close inhaling the scent of her sister which always calmed her.

Coconut shampoo, fresh deodorant, a musky and addictive perfume that Alexia had used since y/n could remember. It warmed y/n, it warmed her mind to sit there in her sister's protective hold.

"La amo tanto. La amo tanto que duele alejarse." y/n admits quietly to Alexia.

I love her so much. I love her so much that it hurts to walk away.

"Así sabes que es amor, pequeña." Alexia tells y/n who scoffs.

That is how you know it is love, little one.

"Well, then I have decided I am not a fan of it." y/n says and Alexia lets out a laugh, knowing full well how dramatic her little sister was.

The two sat there for a few more minutes, enjoying the closeness before Alexia decided they would get up and go for dinner, messaging Mapi and who seemed to appear at the door in seconds afterwards.

"Chica!!!" Mapi yelled excitedly as she raced in, not bothering to knock.

y/n laughed as Mapi scooped her up, wrapping her in a tight hug which y/n returned the two friends happy to be re-united. Mapi then hugged Alexia, before the two siblings changed and they went out to lunch.

Lunch was just what y/n needed, a relaxing evening of laughter and jokes as they ate, photos of them pinging about which they ignored as they continued their afternoon.

Unknown to them Ona was sat at home, her best friend on the phone as Ona cried about her mistake and her best friend tried her best to comfort her from a different country.

Ona had calmed a lot when she heard the knock on her door. She had turned her phone off and turned the TV on, playing an old Spanish film she used to watch as she moped in self pity.

The knock repeated and she sighed and forced herself up, dropping her blanket against the sofa she moved over to the door and opened it a shocked call falling from her as someone barged in.

"Ale!" Ona says in shock.

"Oni." Alexia nods, moving to sit on the side of the sofa arm, looking at Ona who lets the door swing shut, Ona felt as if she could hardly move, she was expecting yelling any second.

"Lo lamento." Ona says before Alexia has the chance to calm her racing mind down.

I'm sorry.

"¿Para qué?" Alexia asks her, watching as Ona's eyes dart around like a cornered animal.

For what?

"y/n." Ona says simply and as bravely as she can. "Sé que es malo y ella es tu hermana pequeña... pero..." Her bravery however ran out as Alexia raised an eyebrow and Ona trails her sentence off.

y/n. I know it's bad, and she's your little sister... but...

Alexia sighs, running a hand through her hair as she thinks about the heartbroken tone of y/n's voice that morning when she had returned from this apartment.

"¿La amas?" Alexia asks Ona, confusing the woman greatly as there had been no yelling yet.

Do you love her?

"¿Qué?" Ona asks, too confused to acknowledge the question being asked.

What?

"¿La amas?" Alexia repeated though this time with a far more demanding tone.

Do you love her?

"Sí. Si yo realmente lo hago." Ona says quietly, ducking her head to not see Alexia's reaction.

Yes. Yes I really do.

"Entonces está bien." Alexia nods and Ona's head snaps back up, shock filling her eyes.

Then it is okay.

Alexia sighs and gestures Ona closer, the woman moving over with small and light steps as she ends up next to Alexia on the sofa.

"Preferiría que me lo hubieran dicho al principio, pero que Ona salga con mi hermana pequeña no es el fin del mundo. No importa lo que ambos piensen." Alexia tells Ona.

I would have rather been told at the beginning, but Ona dating my little sister is not the end of the world. No matter what you both think.

Ona very nearly crumpled to her knees as Alexia's arm wrapped around her shoulders, her captain would never understand how much respect Ona had for her.

"Alexia. Gracias. Prometo cuidarla y amarla lo mejor que pueda." Ona promised her and Alexia chuckled slightly.

Alexia. Thank you. I promise to look after her and love her as well as I can.

"Bueno, tal vez quieras recordárselo, porque echarla no es una forma de demostrarlo." Alexia suggests and Ona's eyes widen in realisation.

Well, you might want to remind her of that, because kicking her out is not a way to show it.

Alexia chuckled as Ona grabbed her bag and raced out of the door, Coco letting out a confused whine as Ona left the building, leaving Alexia to shut and lock her door, placing the key in the key safe, before walking back slowly, home.

Knowing full well, Ona had driven and if she took the long way the couple would get back to Ona's before she even got to her own home.

y/n woke up from her nap at the sound of rapid knocking on Alexia's door, checking her phone she saw it was seven pm and groaned as she pushed herself up and to the door.

"Okay, okay!" y/n yelled at the still rapid knocking which suddenly ceased. "Jesus, ¿quien murió?" y/n questioned as she opened the door.

Who died?

y/n rubs her eyes, trying to push the sleep from them as the person on the other side of the door lets out a shaky sigh. Ona's eyes filled with adoration, finding y/n so sweet when she was sleepy.

Her cheeks were red and her hair was no longer in the neat braids she had put them in for lunch with Mapi and Alexia, instead strands of hair had come out and her baby hairs were pushed around sporadically.

Here eyes were half closed and there was a pattern on her face - pressed in from what Ona could guess was a pillow which she had clearly fallen asleep on.

"Amor." Ona sighed softly and y/n instantly tensed.

Love.

"Ona." y/n breathed as she looked at her. "Come in." She said softly, opening the door further and stepping aside to let Ona in.

y/n stepped away from Ona, moving around the other side of the kitchen counter as she fiddled with her fingers and looked at them, too afraid to look at Ona who was watching her sadly.

"I uh, had a visitor." Ona said softly and y/n hummed nodding her head. "Ale dropped by." Ona continues and y/n looks up confused.

"She told me she went to see Olga." y/n said confused before she sighed. "Hijo de puta mentirosa." y/n said with a small laugh.

Lying motherfucker.

"Supongo que tenía una mentira gratuita para usar, de verdad." Ona said and y/n chuckles dryly.

I suppose she had a free lie to use, really.

y/n watches as Ona bites at her lips, almost as if she was trying to break the skin, maybe hoping the pain would make this interaction less awkward.

"I'm sorry Oni. I should have warned you." y/n finally sighs, her head dropping into her hands as she squeezes her eyes tightly shut.

Ona lets out a noise of sadness and rushes around the counter to bring y/n into her arms, the two folding together perfectly as Ona's head rests on y/n's collarbone, the Putellas being nearly four inches taller.

"Las dos tenemos la culpa de mi amor, reaccioné terriblemente." Ona promises her.

y/n sighs, her hands moving down to pull Ona up and around her waist, the woman's legs wrapping around her as y/n sets her on the counter and slides her head onto her shoulder.

Ona smiles into y/n's hair, sometimes forgetting that the two were two years apart as y/n carried herself with such age and confidence, but here in Ona's arms her youth was shown as she breathed in her girlfriend's scent.

"Eres una romantica, si?" Ona asks with a small smile.

y/n shook slightly, a sniffle coming from her as she pressed a light kiss into Ona's neck, relieved they were back to how they always acted, the two hardly ever fought.

Ona smiled softly, pulling y/n away from her neck, and looked down at her, eyes filled with love as she lent forward and softly placed her lips against y/n's.

The kiss was soft, and yet so intrusive, it infected both of them with need as y/n's tongue pushed past Ona's lips, sweeping her mouth in a desperate want to mix their breaths.

The kiss was deep, attentive, filled with love as they finally pulled away, small pants coming from them both as their noses brushed each other.

"No debería haberte echado. Lo lamento." Ona whispers quietly.

y/n shakes her head again, pressing her lips to Ona's once more to stop the woman talking, Ona instantly forgetting the rest of her apology as y/n's hands grip at her sides.

"No más disculpas mi amor." y/n tells her softly.

No more apologies my love.

"¿Qué tal si vamos a casa y pasamos la noche haciendo lo que deberíamos haber hecho en el momento en que entraste por mi puerta?" Ona asks, mischief swimming through her voice.

How about we go home, and spend the night doing what we should have done the moment you walked through my door?

y/n grinned and lifted Ona onto her hips, running at the door which made them both chuckle, Ona hopped down and the two moved to her car, y/n locking Alexia's door with her key.

Just as they pulled out of the driveway, Alexia came into view and y/n smiled as she rolled down the window and blew a kiss her sister's way, Alexia smiling and catching it, placing it over her heart as she moved into her house.

Ona's hand rested on y/n's thigh as they drove back, a thick silence now filling the car as Ona pulled up in her parking space and the two walked quickly into the apartment.

The door had hardly shut before Ona was on y/n's waist and pressed against the wall, lips connected tongues between each other's mouths.

Ona moaned as y/n pulled at her bottom lip, smiling at the sound as she went back in to taste her again, she tasted of peppermint tea, something she only drank when stressed.

Ona's tongue curled around y/n's, the woman's hands tugging at y/n's shirt, trying to pull it from her body. y/n walked them to the sofa, Coco huffing as he scuttled away to sleep in the corner.

y/n couldn't help but lean down and start trailing soft kisses down Ona's neck, the woman's hands gripping at her arms, hair, waist, wherever she could grab as y/n settled over her.

Chishiya tried everything to get you into bed with him. He tried seducing you, gaslighting you, and of course his manipulation tactics didn't work either.

All you were focused on was trying to fix the phone from last night's game. It was still on, so you thought it would be easier to get into before it powered off.

Every time he'd call your name, you'd brush him off. Mostly because he always used a certain tone of voice you've become far too familiar with when he tries to get what he wants.

All he wanted to do was kneel at your feet to tell you exactly what he wanted. To tell you he just wanted you to hold him, to tell you all he needed was your attention.

But he couldn't. He never has been able to ask for help, or ask for anything without feeling vulnerable for that matter. He was closed off, that's what people knew about him; that he didn't show those types of emotions in fear of being belittled.

Chishiya could feel his eyelids getting heavy and his eyes burning from keeping them open, but he knew no matter how hard he would toss and turn; he wouldn't be able to sleep without you.

It was pathetic, he'd admit that. It was a loop he found himself getting stuck into, and found there was no way out of it. He hid it pretty well, though. Through late nights where you'd fall asleep alone and wake up to him beside you. You truly had no idea he struggled so much.

He was so tired. He'd do anything if you'd just stop and sleep already.

And he found his last option, the one thing he dreaded the most.

"Y/n?" Chishiya whispered, his voice husky as he climbed out of bed and walked towards you with slow steps.

"What?" You hummed in response, never peeling your eyes away from the task at hand.

"Please," He spoke underneath his breath in an almost incoherent whisper as he stopped to stand beside the chair you sat in.

"I don't know what you want, Chishiya. No one is keeping you awake." You sighed, watching from the corner of your eye as he stood by your side, rubbing his eyes with his palms.

"You're keeping me awake." He murmured, watching your hands as they played around with the device's motherboard.

"How?" You said in defeat, finally turning your attention to him. You looked up at him with your hands thrown in your lap, clearly waiting for his response.

He let out a huff as he looked around the room; avoiding eye contact. When he finally looked at you, his eyes were soft and glassed over.

His next sentence was incoherent.

"What?"

[inaudible]

"Chishiya. Speak up, please." Your words were soft as you stood up from your seat, placing your hands on his upper arms.

"I can't sleep without you." He finally spoke, his words finally registering in your mind.

When he realized you had finally heard him, he felt like he could say anything. And with his new found confidence he continued to speak.

"Why is it so hard to ask you to touch me?" He breathed, letting his head fall onto your shoulder.

You smiled at his soft demeanour. You knew how hard it must've been for him to admit something so close to himself, especially since it was about you. You've found a new side of Chishiya you haven't seen before.

You brought a hand to comb through his hair as the other scratched up and down his bare back, "I'm sorry, Chishiya. I should've just read your mind." You whispered against his shoulder as you held him close to your body.

Your words were an obvious tease, trying to humor the situation at hand. Which did make Chishiya snicker.

"You should have. You've always been able to." He muttered, wrapping his arms lazily around you.

You smiled warmly as he spoke, pulling away to drag his hand towards the bed. You climbed in with him closely behind you. He waited for you to get comfortable, before he joined you under the covers to tangle his limbs with yours.

"I'm proud of you, Chishiya." Your sultry breath hit his forehead as you mumbled against his skin.

He stared down at the way your bodies fit together, processing your words with a smile he knew you couldn't see.

"Now go to sleep, 'm here." You spoke once more into his skin, kissing his forehead and massaging your fingers into his scalp.

His cold fingers danced around your bare skin, trying to bring himself impossibly closer to you before his body fell limp into a night's sleep.

TBB S3 E11 Reaction

I’ve watched this episode multiple times already but honestly it doesn’t get any easier. Here we go I guess 😩

- This droid guy looks like the one from episode 4. They’re kinda cute

- The return of Mel! (And Phee 😁)

- Both of them are in a mood 😆. What trip did they just get back from to make them so cranky? Love the throwback to Skara Nall too.

- Noooo not CX-2 😭

- He’s a sneaky boi

- I knew that Phee would inadvertently be how the coordinates to Pabu would be found 🥺🥺

- I’m just now noticing that the back office is playing music and that’s probably why Phee can’t hear the alarm go off. That is hilarious and also very frustrating 😅

- Of course the droid thinks it caused the alarm somehow

- There’s no way downloading someone’s flight log goes that quickly but okay

- Ooooh my girl knows something is up! Her spidey pirate senses are going off. Aghhhh if only she had been a second sooner!!

- If CX-2 ISN’T Tech there is zero reason why he would have stayed behind to watch Phee leave before he snuck off. Also how is he so incredible at hacking into and decoding things 👀

- Ugh I just want a show of Phee and Mel adventures around the galaxy!

- Why is his ship so freaking cool. These maps are incredible.

- Reallyyyy wanna get CX-2’s helmet off 😭

- Aw Pabu is so beautiful in the sunset

- Ha! I knew the boys would try to leave after Ventress warned them it was too dangerous to stay on Pabu. Hunter might be slow sometimes but he’s not completely stupid guys

- The little clone cadets outfits are so cool!!!

- Not going to lie, the first time I watched this was the closest I had cried all season. Tech’s goggles and Lula being placed in the Archium is so heartbreakingly fitting 💔

- Wrecker and Gonky banter 🤩🤩🤩 Gonk is such a part of the family I love it soooo much

- Okay seriously how is CX-2 able to both know he’s tripped a proximity sensor AND turn it off?? Come on

- I just realized how he knows where the cave is too. If he tracked Phee’s flight log it must have shown exactly where she normally landed

- Ugh that gold and purple is just too beautiful. Can Pabu be a real place that I can go to?

- Hunter’s spidey senses are also on alert. And I love how close he and Crosshair are again, their pre-Order 66 bond has been restored and is even deeper. Crosshair is attuned to when Hunter’s senses go off. And their helmets sitting together on the cart is so cute 🥹

- No NO no NOOO Nooooo. This moment was ruined by the Star Wars marketing team so it honestly didn’t hit as hard as it would have otherwise, but 😭😭😭. RIP Marauder. You will live on in our imagination

- I still can’t believe that they somehow heard our outcry about what would happen to Gonky, Lula, and Tech’s goggles if they blew up the Marauder, and decided to save EXACTLY those three things 🤣 (and Wrecker. So glad Wrecker is “relatively” okay, poor boy)

- Hunter’s slooow helmet turn until we see the starship above the island. Phew. And the Imperial March coming in.

- Omega comforting Batcher 😭😭😭

- Having LAATs swoop down into a town like that would be terrifying

- Man, where’s Maarva when you need her. Fuck the Empire

- “Search every domicile until you find her” is going to go down in Star Wars quote history

- I was genuinely afraid they were going to burn the whole island

- I’m sorry but I just can’t take the backpack clips on CX-2 seriously

- Batcher baby no! (Also genuinely thought we were going to lose her for a second)

- Damn Hunter. Nothing makes him shine like hand to hand combat and other things 🥵

- He’s never been hotter honestly

- Alright how in the world is CX-2 so good at *everything*. I’m honestly getting a little annoyed at it.

- Crosshair’s face 😭💔😭 he’s never looked more scared and pleading than when he says his baby sister’s name

- I’m kind of surprised that they didn’t just burn down the town anyway. Either CX-2 is just trying to be super efficient/he doesn’t care past accomplishing his mission, or the Empire gets much more petty and cruel by Kenobi and Rebels

- It’s so interesting to me how touchy CX-2 is with Omega. Why all the shoulder pushes? Shoulder touches are very much a form of affection and communication among clones. Has that impulse in him just been turned to violence?

- Sooo…we basically will never get wet hair Hunter 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll take this much dripping and cute Batcher scratches compensation though

- Okay. I’m just going to say it. The way they chose to have Crosshair miss the tracking device was so disappointing to me. Not the fact that he missed, but how he missed. Having him be distracted and fend for his life and be late for the shot was great. But I wish they had brought his hand tremble into play here as the main mechanism behind why he missed. They’ve been building that up all season and it would have made perfect sense. Instead he rushes and like trips and just shoots too early? So out of character. I didn’t like it and still don’t :(

- Welp, Omega seems to be less worried than we are. We’re in the end game now folks 😳 this music is awesome too

Now the sorcerer from the past, I would say that he would be the most chilliest and sweet boyfriend in Luxime to say.(no favoritism I swear)

His is like the most softest boyfriend like Ahhhh.

He would do ANYTHING for you (not a simp) Whatever you would ask he would do it. just not anything that would cause harm ofc, his first priority is you and your safety.

Anyways for the nicknames: Babe, baby, darling (when hid sleepy I'd say), cutie(to tease you). I would say babe would be the most used nickname out of all of them.

Also cuddling him would be the most softest thing and kfjsgahaj, like his a sorcerer right? So you don't need a blanket if it's cold you could just ask him to warm you up (not in that way, get you head out of the gutter) and HE will comply to it. Aghhhh, or if it's too hot just ask him to like do sorcery magic to cool you down and he WILL do it.

Moving on, spending days will consist of just mainly sitting around your house and chilling, maybe play some games, or watch a movie.

Speaking of watching movies, imagine just laying around the couch with a random movie on. And he would just let you lay on is chest with his arms around you hugging watching the movie, it would be so comfortable like jdshksjaj.

Now moving to jealousy: I think shu isn't that much of a jealous person like I said he is the most chilliest boyfriend, I would rate it 3/10 he rarely gets jealous because he trust you enough and knows you can handle it fine so jealousy isn't there. But if he is tho HOHO that would be interesting, he wouldn't show he is jealous if for example a person is flirting with you and he saw you very very uncomfortable with them. He would walk up to you and just put a arm around your waist and smile at them (scary) before greeting them and introducing himself as you LOVER, he would then make an excuse so both of you can leave, leaving the person behind.(rip)

Now if YOUR the one who is Jealous: Of course as your boyfriend he should know you better than anyone, and that includes your emotions and how to deal with it. He would notice it right away because his a sorcerer and your boyfriend. He would reassure you and whisper sweet nothings in your ear as he hugs you, comforting you and telling you that he only loves you. (Especially if you have major insecurities like me)

Anyways for cooking I believe he is decent with it, not bad but not that fancy like some certain people. Imagine cooking together like that's so sweet.

He would let you play with his hair if you want to (as long as you agree he would do the same for you) you can style it whatever you want and he would keep it for the ENTIRE day. Even if it's gonna be hard to untangle but anyway, if he is the one playing with your hair he would ngl use his sorcery magic to make it very pretty and maybe sparkly just for you.<3

When his streaming he would let you sit on his lap if you want, (especially if your touch starve) and he would stream like it's normal. If you feel sleepy he would let you lay your head on his shoulder and sleep, his voice is so soothing he can just make you sleep.

Now for dates: dates would be mostly in your house either watching random movies or just spending some quality time together. But if you both go out he would take you to like a restaurant or in the park for a nice walk. If you want to go to a place, then ofc he would agree (his curious and he wants to spend time with you)

If your having a bad day: He would look at you concerned before opening his arms for you to lay down, he would soothe your back before asking what's wrong. You could rant to him and he would LISTEN to every single damn word staying quiet to let you pour down your feelings and what made you upset. Or if you don't want to say it then he can just continue to soothe you while whispering sweet nothings in your ears.

WOW - what a fun few months it's been - Not really done too much work on this scrap boom for a while (just because my brain is always in 50 places at once ahaahah!!) - had a few problems the with the scanner at my local library again (but it was still fun trying it out !!) - i am aware a few of the pages look rather... blank - I may go back and add to them soon- I think today it was just a "oH MY GOD I NEED TO GET SCANS DONE AHDHJHDFDHFJD !!!" and I BATTLED WITH THE SCANNER AND SCRAMED A LITTLE INTERNALLY BUT HERE WE ARE--- WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

prited out a few of my fave jackie / viridian screenshots- also a few solo shots of my best girlie !! also went mad with stickers because you can NEVER have too many of them !! also collected the cinema tickets from when i saw john wick 4 and across the spriderverse ~

hand written note on the first page is from my dear friend bluefayt (linked her caard) - above that is a picture of me from comic con last year (taken by my fantastic irl bestie @withoutyouimsaskia <333 i love you aaaaa - we saw a bunch of star wars cosplayers and this person cosplaying as darth vader was posing for photos - they LARPed with me for a moment anf that photo was taken mid LARP - oh what an experice that was ~) sorry if you cant see it very well because of the damn contrast settings (tried to edit the scans but they ended up looking worse... so just posted the raw ones!!)

The xfiles tea packet is from @beastlybeverages !! I bought a pack of the xfiles themed tea last year after going to comic con - its a tea I really really enjoyed !!

The fith page - on the right - the postcard with the black and pink squares !! thats some serious art but my irl bestie Tim (aka 1710.film) - the post card was from an exhibition that happened when we were both at uni!!! Tim is not on tumblr- but please do check out his work- He is a photographer / conceptual artist - and one of my best dearest and lovely friends <3 you can find him on intagram here

sticker of the iron bull on page 4 is by @seonysketches - the manga ladies on pages 4 , 6 and 7 are by @pinkapplejam (find her esty here) - most of the other stickers i just had laying around - or picked up random packs in charity shops !! post cards and art cards too !! i found a whole pack of fairyloot(?) prints in a charity shop for like £2.49 and was like YOOO NEED - the art on the first pahe on the left side is of one of the main characters from these violent delights by chloe gong (WHICH I AM HOPING TO START READING SOON AGHHHH!))))

I suck horribly at actually talking to people but I NEED to make it known how much I've loved and enjoyed your jade fics!!! Every single one has been a total banger., i've been fed so well.

I absolutely loved the readers lack of autonomy in your japanese folklore fic (im typing off memory so my spelling of everything will be off) they didn't have a choice in anything. fish wife <3 I'll admit I was a little confused with the Garappo, i truly thought it was some weird suicide until Jade later mentioned it. And why Floyd mentioned his brother dying to one, (I honestly thought it was supposed to be jade creature)

AGHHHH fish wife??? really?? fish wife??? the ending was so delicious, i could almost visualize it. so lovely. the fear, lack of autonomy, the loss of all they've known, never knowing what's real and what's a fantasy. I'm not sure what you envisioned for their future, but I can imagine that lack of autonomy will be more of a pressing issue than it was. God, the view of that though!!! Someone you only remember when you're too hazy to be in the real world, someone that's been with you throughout your life, someone that's wanted you since you could remember. isn't that so romantic? Finally together where the sun can't part you, under the water.

i dont know how to really explain what im feeling, or what i think, but i feel like it's such a poignant visual to be killed by this Jade in that way. It feels like watching a puzzle you've been working on be completed, or reaching a new plot point in a game you like, it's this feeling of intrigue, anticipation, idk. I always get that feeling reading your fics and also HOLY FUCK THEYRE SO LONG!!!!!!

and dont think i've forgotten your other fics LOL im ready to talk about those too holy fuck. I don't have that much to say unfortunately, I really enjoyed them just as much but I'm far more speechless. The Jade fic based off of Mera's god! Floyd was... really nice. The altar scene felt like Jade was punishing them for something. That's just how the bee crumbles, though. "sadist" might not rhyme with "jade" but it's basically the same word anyway... I loved watching Jade's opinion of Reader change over the time skips, he goes from mild annoyance/hate or, idk, repulsion (?) to interest, to love (menace style).

The reader fulfilling nothing in the end was certainly something. I loved it.

I've never really had a family, so I can't understand reader's motivations in your "crowley finds a way to send Yuu home" fic, but it made me wish I had one. I enjoyed the ending, the usage of the ghost camera. Poor Jade, really. I don't have much to say, because I'm not personally a fan of angst.

I feel like I can safely say you're my favorite writer, even above Mera. (who i now know you're also a fan of!!! which is neat!!!!!)

i know i probably could've DMed you but I feel like an ask is more appropriate >:) i hope you enjoy the long ask, as an artist myself this is kinda like tags on my art, and i really feel like you deserve that happiness. not good at talking, my bad!!!!

okay to answer the first thing about why Floyd mentions his brother got killed by one!! the entire point of him going there is to check if his future sibling in law opinion on yokai, his brother’s lovesick so Floyds on the case

he had to make the reader let him stay!! the idea of the garappa outside is more terrifying to the reader than letting in a stranger & he mentions his brother dying to one (falsely!!! he’s lying ofc!!!)

bc the reader’s like oh that sounds familiar for him to have a brother, that fits into place — doubled with the bath salts, it’s an ease slip inside the shrine

“the fear, lack of autonomy, the loss of all they've known, never knowing what's real and what's a fantasy.” dude why did you write Sundo better than me??? why did you write the whole thesis of Sundo in a more poetic and all around better way that i ever could holy shit

the altar scene in Psilocybin was definitely a mixture of punishment and accepting them into his world — he’s always going to be salty that he does not know what fear tastes, smells, looks like upon the reader! (〃´∀｀)

i’m a HUGE momma’s girl so that’s where the theme of Schism came from haha and i love Tool’s music — thank you for saying u like the ghost camera usage, i was worried the audience might not get this BUT reader does not end up leaving; that end scene is specifically with the fragment of her soul from the photograph on Jade’s desk

So honestly I think I've seen each of the movies like...twice for Mockingjay 1 and 2 and three times for THG and CF. The movies are basically an opportunity to have gifs displaying events in the book more than movies for me. But here we go:

The Hunger Games: 2.5. I like the opening with the interview with Seneca Crane and then transitioning to Prim's screams. I overall like the casting--they should have gone for POC Seam characters, but Woody and Jen are at least good in their parts and Gale could have been played by a cardboard cutout for all I care about him (which is basically what Liam Hemsworth was). I do like the Crane and Snow peeks. Dislike: Shaky cam. Terrible, nonsensical bread scene. Cutting out Madge. The gruesomeness of their injuries being sanitized. Cutting down Everlark. Peeta lost his cheekiness and endearing qualities (not Josh's fault, it's the script/direction). The cave scene is disappointing. Get Gale out of my face during the Everlark kiss please. Taking out how desperate Katniss was to save Peeta and reducing her to rebelling and him to being an idiot in love was AGH. The ending is also super rushed. And cutting out Peeta being an amputee!!!

Catching Fire: 3.75. I love this movie from the Reaping onward. There are little things I'd change, like Peeta giving Katniss the pearl after the beach kiss so he'd recognize she was still planning on dying for him. But again, good casting for new parts, good expansion with Plutarch/Snow, they kept up the tension and shot the action really well. Dislike: Too much Everthorne (SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE KISSED HIM BEFORE GOING TO THE QUELL AGHHHH). Softening Gale too much (having him save a woman from a whipping instead of being caught poaching, reducing the fight he had with Katniss and his pettiness about Peeta and Haymitch to him just wanting to fight against the Capitol). Not even referencing Haymitch's games was a bummer. And a repeat of Peeta not being an amputee in the Games. This is definitely the strongest out of all of them.

Mockingjay Part 1: 3.25. I like for the movie that they replaced Fulvia with Effie. Jen and Josh are at their acting peak in this movie. Snow taunting Katniss during the rescue and the quote "It's the things we love most that destroy us." Dislike: Once again things are too sanitized. Cutting out the prep team being abused by 13. Also too much Everthorne. They needed to add more rifts between them as it was in the book.

Mockingjay Part 2: 2.5. It's shot well. Um. Idk, it follows the plot of the book so for me that's always an automatic 2 points at least. Donald Sutherland shined in this one as Snow. Dislike: This is when things being sanitized bothers me the most. Katniss should be absolutely DESTROYED at the end of the war, as should Peeta. They screwed up Everlark post-war. Katniss returning from hunting when she first sees Peeta instead of emerging from the worst of her depression and PTSD and grief was a misstep, as well as Everlark not sharing even a kiss post-war. The filmmakers were just cowards when it came to Everlark.

Personally I'm still advocating for a THG animated series. The movies had a lot they were trying to cram in for a movie runtime and were limited in terms of timeline. Maybe if TBOSAS does well Hollywood will come to return to an established property.

You mention ao3 and I can't help but remember the fact that there is already an Would You Love Me if I Was A Worm fic. (worm dorks) It is Cater's influence on Riddle but the other way around? Hm... Riddle's a very doting person to animals and the worm being his boyfie? yeah he'd take the question extremely seriously and swear his loyalty to worm-Azul. The orange peel test... yeah. Less of a 'test' and more 'Riddle's just not used to peeling his own oranges'. Like he gets a craving for them and royally messes up his first attempt so Azul does it in his stead. After laughing at how bad he is, of course. (But stopping right before he gets too upset about it. I think Azul would be very careful with boundaries, considering his past with bullying and his abilities to read other people's cues.)

Azul is bigger than Jade and Floyd in their merforms... tiny Riddle. I think he'd be shocked to see just how much bigger this previously only 5'9 slimy businessman is. and it'd scare Azul.
