The Fourteenth Step

AN: This chapter contains protective Andromeda Tonks, mentions of past sex and Andromeda calling Sirius an idiot.

Andromeda slammed a book down onto the table in front of Sirius causing the Animagus to jump in his seat.

“’Dromeda…” He began reproachfully with an angry glare.

Andromeda held up a finger, “No. I’m going to talk now. My daughter convinced me to give your relationship with (Name) a chance and at the cinema when I saw how you acted with her, I was happy to be proven wrong and I stepped back. Now you suddenly decide that you don’t want to be with her? What in Lady Magic’s name is wrong with you?”

“I just wanted to do the right thing.” Sirius growled as he clenched and unclenched his fists. He looked up at her, “You were the one who highlighted the age difference between us.”

Andromeda groaned and threw herself into the chair, “That was not what I meant. If you recall correctly, you were bragging about your sexual conquests and nobody at any age wants to hear a relative bragging about that,” Andromeda fixed Sirius with a glare as she continued speaking “and while we are talking about what we want, I want a cousin who doesn’t behave like an idiot but we can’t always get what we want.”

Compared to Andromeda, Draco’s voice was quiet. Sirius didn't even notice him enter the room. “(Name) deserves someone who will commit to her. If you can’t do that, let her know now, and don’t string her along. However, if you see a glimmer of hope for a relationship, grab it with both hands, and don’t dare let go... If you don’t fix this, I’ll curse you.”

I’ve see a lot of posts today about how Potterheads don’t support trans-people, or trans-people will not trust Potterheads due to JKR’s views, so to all my trans followers and trans supporters, hear me out.

I support you completely. 100%.

Harry Potter is my childhood, and I’ve grown up being mystified by the wonderful universe that JKR has created. Up until a year ago I wasn’t even aware that she was homophobic, and to be honest that truth hit me so hard. I ended up thinking that those were lies.

But I re-read it, and I realised that there is no homosexual appearance in the series. I lost a lot of faith in JKR. But I haven’t lost faith in the series.

I still love Harry Potter with all my heart, and I’m probably one of the biggest Potterheads ever. I do not support JKR or her ideas on homosexuality even the slightest bit but I will never stop loving Harry Potter.

When the discussion comes up to buying merchandise and spending money that helps JKR support her views even more, here’s what I have to say: I haven’t bought any Harry Potter merchandise since 2017. And I would encourage you to stop as well. Because the merchandise does make us happy, it makes us proud to belong to such a fandom but eventually it’s not going towards a good cause. It’s hurting people, it’s hurting their right and it’s hurting their existence.

So as a conclusion: I support homosexuality. I support trans-people, trans-women, trans-men, trans supporters. You are safe in my blog. I do not support JKR’s views at all. I think we should stop buying HP merchandise because it’s harming others. But I also support the Harry Potter community, Potterheads, fans who have the same views as me. We are people who love the books and the world created by the words in them, but we do not love the person who made it.

Barely dodging Dolohov’s curse, movement caught your eye and you heard Bellatrix scream out the incantation for the Killing Curse but you didn’t see who she was aiming for. You just knew that you had to stop her somehow.

Desperately, you moved your wand in an arc and Dolohov flew backwards into Rudolphus Lestrange, catching him by surprise and causing him to stagger backwards.

Right into the path of his wife’s Killing Curse.

Everything fell silent and the Death Eaters who were still fighting fled as one.

You turned to face Bellatrix with your wand still raised even as she lowered her wand and the madness faded from her eyes only to be replaced with horror.

“Oh, Morgana. I just tried to kill my Head of House.”

i feel bad for Harry because he barely gets any freaking privacy at hogwarts! It’s such a challenge to deal with rumors and paparazzi (ahem rip collin) and like everyone knowing absolutely everything about u and then ur just like wtf 🥲 I feel like Harry isn’t accustomed and will never be to this behavior and being in the spotlight in general he seems to really enjoy his own quality time and being able to share things personally with others!

I also believe that the Weasley twins are supreme ✨ ✌️ 😌 but that’s just my opinion totally not the decision of the entire Harry Potter fandom-
