I've been telling anyone who will listen to me for years how I never believed Fiona's universe was just a genderbent version of Finn's bc the personality changes would be too drastic sometimes and I know adventure time is partly written as it goes along but let me have this !

Fiona isn't even a Finn multiverse variant, she's BASED off of Finn. Where as the rest of the multiverse is made by wishes, so I see it kinda like making a clone of a clone, Fiona's universe is "hand made" so to speak. Something I find interesting is, everyone in it, instead of having the deep lore and backstories as the OG universe (the one they were based off of) they seem to get the simplified "what a viewer would assume/all they'd get to know in the first few seasons of watching adventure time."

Fiona and Cake aren't referred to as sisters, even when their universe had magic. When it went without, cake turned into her pet cat. Similar to how as a little kid watching the first season, you just thought Jake was Finn's talking dog.

Fiona didn't get the last name Mertins because in her original magical universe I'm betting the human Island, bio parents' backstory, deep lore about the mushroom war and the vampires just don't exist there. Similar to how when you were watching the first seasons of adventure you don't really question how Finn got there, or all of ooo. It's just boy in magical land.

Also I am willing to die on this hill Gumball/Gary and Princess bubblegum have next to nothing in common. Even in his first appearances in the main series, Gumball was acting snooty and prissy, what young veiwers thought princess bubblegum to be in the earliest seasons. Gumball/Gary in the new series has very few of Princess bubblegum's traits, especially a lack of being a scientist or abrasive bluntness, or a whole list of things. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying he's shallowly written compared to her! Just different, easily embarrassed and a writer instead, infact! All his lil candy ocs.

The character with the biggest differences though?? Cake and Jake. These are two COMPLETELY separate personalities to me.

So to tie this back to my earlier point of this universe being "hand made" and the more intriqure details being more naturally unique and simple than a carbon genderbent copy, I think Prismo put the least amount of work into Cake. (So her as a living creature developed a personality naturally, not that she doesn't have one bc Prismo didn't give her one manually)

Prismo and Jake were friends, I'm sure he's mourned him and misses him. So why would he torture himself/Disrespect someone he knew personally by making a new one? That wouldn't be fun, and that's arguably the whole reason he made Fiona's world. To have fun making something. That's why I think it doesn't have that depth and darkness Finn's world has, it's just "girl in magical land."

I was rewatching season 6 of Gumball when I camed across The Anybody, then this scene happened:

After this, Darwin points out Clayton and they move on. But then I wondered something. Usually Darwin is the one to comfort others, and Gumball the one to cut these kind of situations so they don't get too sad (for the show), but here it was the opposite, Gumball puts his paw on Tobias to comfort him, wich made me think of something. What if Gumball was the one to comfort him because he went through the same? Remember the episode The Robot? where Bobert steals Gumball's identity and everyone loves more this Gumball than our Gumball? well, in that episode, when Gumball tries to get in the house, he can't, so he looks through the window, just to see his family loving more this new version of him than the real him. Isn't this too similar to this scene from The Anybody? even if we compare both scenes they are quite similar

So, I believe that the reason Gumball was the one who comforted Tobias the most in that scene is because he understands what Tobias is going through right now, he knows the feeling of being replaced by a fake and the people you know loving more this copy of you more than the actual you, he must have felt pretty bad for him. Just a thought I had while watching the episode

The Coin “Boss” (Blaseball)

• The Coin is the physical embodiment of capitalism. She was a sentient coin who implemented many new rules upon Internet League Blaseball, and eventually suffered deicide at the hands of over a dozen Blaseball teams that rushed the mound. She served as the antagonist for seasons 12-24 of the Beta, also known as the Expansion Era. After the players killed the Shelled One, she took over as the new boss for Internet League Blaseball (distinct from the commissioner, who was Parker MacMillan III, IIII, or IIIII, depending on what era it was). She pushed Internet League Blaseball into a new era of peace and prosperity, with a focus on profits. A number of these resulted in expansions of the snacks, and one of the most controversial was the decision to vault players, locking them away from our plane of existence or understanding. She later introduced Consumers, which looked suspiciously like sharks. As teams became weighed down by their players' Soulscreams, they were more likely to be attacked, resulting in players having their stats reduced. Chorby Soul was perhaps the biggest victim of this, being attacked by consumers over 100 times and being incinerated three separate times. Soooo I'm gonna try uploading more of my AU to tumblr since I can make much longer text posts than I can on insta!! (though if you wanna see ALL the art over the last year of this AU's growth, I'd suggest going there!! But this piece kinda will help explain it a bit!! Prepare for A LOT of rambling ~

Sooooooo; I've been into TAWoG since 2013 right around when Season 2 was getting new episodes, from the moment I started watching I absolutely fell in love with this show, fixing on it for about 2/3 years (2013-2015) and while I slowly fell out of the fixation, the show never truly left me, ya know? It saved me as a child, helping me get through the roughest year of my life which was 2014.

As I got older, I had so many moments where I'd go back to it (I remember it being like every other year; 2018, 2020, ect.) but then the end of 2022 I was spiraling really bad and just not doing well, and TAWoG came back into my life again but this time it STUCK. (Saving me, yet again).

This time around I made next gens; Caspian and Pearl. Made on November 10th, 2022. (I remember it being 6 AM too lol) This piece for this post was drawn one year later; November 10th, 2023. ^^

Cas being a Penball child and Pearl being the adopted daughter of Darwin. When I first got back into the show I knew I wanted next gens but I hadn't delved into the show, wasn't really caught up but as a kid "the Shell" episode made me pretty excited so I was like "what's an easy gumball ship? oh yeah, Penball!" so that's how Cas happened. Pearl happened because I knew I wanted a "pet come sentient" companion for Cas and I LOVE axolotls so I knew it was perfect.

(Mind you, I stopped watching mid season 3 and only watched again when I heard about Darwin's origins episodes!! (He was my fav as a kid and I remember hoping for an origin episode for him so when that was announced I was so excited). As you'll see, I wasn't really planning much, I was just like "I love this show, I want next gens!" I had no idea a whole AU was gonna come out of it LMAO. I didn't think too hard about what I was doing. So; I had seen some of season 3 but I didn't know about the whole Rob arc or really anything about him. (I had seen "the pony" episode when it came out because it's season 2 but I was a kid and didn't pay attention to the one time he had his first 'role' ya know?)

ANYWAY, I was looking into this "Rob" character, saw people making "void Gumball" designs / GumRob next gens and I have no idea why but I was like "I want one" and that's what led to Zip's creation. He was made just 3 days later on November 13th, 2022 and if it weren't for him; this whole AU wouldn't have even started getting developed. See, I love Cas and Pearl but they were meant to be more "casual oc's" - I really didn't think I was going to keep using them or get as attached as I have. (honestly not understand my neurodivergence at the time either didn't help. if I had known that a hyperfixation could happen like this, I probably would've changed stuff but that's a tangent for another day.) Zip's story, as well as my AU started out COMPLETELY different than what it is now. It was dark/edgy, I knew nothing about Rob so I opted to make him the overarching villain and it just.. it was so bad. (Remember, I was at a low point so.. kinda makes sense the story was so.. yeah.) But as I started looking more and more into Rob I realized how wrong I was, like I could NOT have been more wrong, AND on top of that, looking more into the GumRob ship / watching their dynamic in the episodes... I kid you not; that ship grabbed me by the throat and has held me in a chokehold ever since. GumRob is genuinley my OTP and I cannot explain how much that ship means to me but, I'll ramble about them in another post. Overall; my AU started out differently than what it is now, but I'm happy that I changed it. It went from this dark, kinda edgy story to a lighter, fluffier (more romance-based) arc that plays HELLA into the cartoon-factor of the show. My AU is filled with dumb jokes like that, 4th wall breaks and just the silliness of the show - which I love. That's what I wanted and I've worked hard to get it there. (Yes my AU still devles into serious topics but I try to handle them carefully and still make it somewhat light since I play into the cartoon aspect, ya know?) Sorry for so much rambling, I just.. really love this show, my AU, my characters and I've worked SO hard on this AU (with help of my friends too) and I'm excited to talk more and more about it, without the fucking TEXT LIMIT ON INSTAGRAM. Hazbin Hotel: Trace the primal light

This will be part 1/3 Of my hazbin hotel rewrite

Edit: this is a safe measure to vivziepop's stans that happen to come across my silly post

I just did a rewrite of a show i thought have so much potential, viv's ideas is good, great even and i respect her (though not support her) because of how far she has come. Shes a great animator and artist, i just wanted to expand her idea in another way unlike her way, its just a silly little rewrite you don't have to take it seriously.

Tldr: I am a bored teen who see the potential and decided to expand on it im not attacking Viv im just critisizing her work, all writers, artist, creator go through that (even me) its just a part of making creating for other people to enjoy. So lets be respectful.

Lets start of with the big fish, the tonal problem of Hazbin Hotel.

I feel like Viv can't decide whether its a serious story or a comedic story, everything feels so unbalanced, one thing the viewer is supposed to make fun of a character the next you need to sympathies with them in one scene to another.

Im not saying comedic shows cannot have a serious setting once in a while, see for example: the amazing world of gumball or heck even my little pony A SHOW MADE FOR KIDS THAT MEANT TO BE LIGHTHEARTED

But ofcourse, Hazbin Hotel have this problem, so lets change it shall we?

In my rewrite HH is in its core a semi-serious show, it has mature theme that is handled seriously and it doesn't make fun of a character in their more character driven moment

Ofcourse, HH still has their humor and allat, it just doesn't interfere with the over all tone of the show

now we move on to season 1 (-ep 9)

In the original series, hazbin hotel has 8 episodes, i wouldn't blame them because their an indie production but i think it should be extended to 9 for good measure

Ep 1 focuses on the setting, tone and introduction

Ep 9 will lay out the stary of the conflict in season 2

And lets just say, the Pilot of HH did a pretty good job of standing in for Ep 1, it has the setting, the characters and how they interact. I particularly liked the introduction to charlie at the start of the pilot, when its the end of the recent extermination and she's essentially "waking up" the rest of hell.

It captured Charlie's motivation and role so perfectly and nicely, it shows her status as princess, and her motivation to end the extermination for her people. All without a single dialog only her song.

Season 1 of my HH rewrite will lean onto more episodic elements, each episode after ep 1 will introduced a new character that come to the hotel and want to be redeemed.this will be the perfect chance for viv to showcase her designs and push the premise forward.

What about sir pentious? Hes a guest yes, he's a guest in ep 1 and will be more of like the core cast along season 1

My rewrite will probably look like this:

Ep 01: Prolog

Ep 02: a guest related to greed

Ep 03: a guest related to gluttony

Ep 04: a guest related to wrath

Ep 05: a guest related to sloth

Ep 06: a Guest related to lust

Ep 07: a guest related to pride

Ep 08: cast centric episode (maybe angel dust)

Ep 09: epilog that will lay out future season

I will talk about ep 9 later after i talk about the villains in part 2

But kira how about the main cast? How about their development?

Good question and i have an answer to you

Each cast or more will handle the said guest in every episode, for example Charlie will try to calm down a rouge wrath guest or Husk will try to help slmeone with the gluttony problem and so on and so forth.

The guest will contrast the cast very much, and this will give you how they interact with someone outside the main cast

Now how about the main cast itself? How do they interact with each other? Through the episodes ofcourse, found family dynamic that build up slowly but surely. Like angel, who don't care about the hotel at the start but slowly warming up to the others

But how about their personal development or trauma? Yes, beacuse season 1 focuses alot more on episodic, developing a character through episode is hard but plausible, so i guess in season 1 we will get a little development in the show don't tell format while in season 2 we will push to more character driven story and story driven story episodes.

how about the main characters?

Ofcourse we gotta start with the main cast

Charlie morningstar

Charlie in my rewrite is nice, sweet and often times pushing herself too much, she has her pride and will do anything to protect it, even if it harm herself. Shes down to earth and thats why she gets brushed off so much by her people because she doesn't earn their respect yet

Her development in season 1 is all about her trying to gain respect and all the while pushing the inner conflict of herself for working herself too much.

And her flaw is shown in one of the scene where she lashed out to her fellow main cast beacuse of her pride as in only her method is the right one. But through out the said episode she will try to fix that part of her in the guidance of her friends.

- prideful

- Headstrong

- pushing herself too much in the cost of her own self or even her friends

- get jealous fairly easily ( not in like a posessive way but in like of how dare you're better than me way)

Yes i did rewrote her name too because what the fuck is Vagina.

Anyway-

The problem i had with her is the fact she doesn't have any and i mean Any character outside of her being "Charlie's girlfriend who is an angry latina stereotype" so we gotta fix this

In my rewrite, shes a pretty serious and headstrong woman, often being the "straight man" inside the chaos of Hazbin Hotel. While she look like she's made from stone, she actually has a pretty soft side more to her friends.

She's only acted aggressively where she deemed the situation is calling for it or she sense danger arising.

Shes a very good fighter and has been with Charlie for a long Time, though they never outright have a relationship. Their romance is a slow burn one, scenes here and there like lasting glances or playful flirting throughout season 1 that build up to season 2.

She has a pretty good, enemies to friends dynamic with angel dust, and out of all the main cast she's the closest to him by far (platonic!!)

We can easily showcase her character in a show don't tell format like simple gestures like putting a hand in front of charlie when she danger is coming or reassuring the other main cast calmly while holding their hand if need be

Angel dust in my hazbin hotel rewrite is a confident and flirty man, he's confident, charming and sexually active man though he does fake his emotions a whole lot.

He stand in the middle of a string between overconfidence and self loathing at the same time, even if he's tired he'll often push all of his real emotions inside and stand proud in his drag queen persona.

He is an actor after all.

He has a very heavy trauma history with Valentino, and beacuse of valentino he develop his eating disorder and self loathing tendencies.

His interaction with main cast starts from him using them as means to escape valentino to him genuinely caring about them

Hes a very complex character over all

- caring (he doesn't want to admit it)

- he'll often accidentally invading others personal space because of his flirting (he'll work on it)

Husky dusty my lil meow meow (hes a grown man) Just kidding!!

Husk in my rewrite is often times dismissive, petty, and overall a not fun person beacuse of his " i don't care" attitude but surprisingly hes a pretty good listener and a very detailed observer, he has street smarts and will sometime spit out uncharacteristically good advice.

His relationship with alastor will be dived in more deeper in season 2

Over all he will be that one idgaf bartender that has surprisingly good advice

Ah yes, the hyperactive skrunkle

she's honestly...a very interesting can of worms, she acted like a child but in that one episode she displayed in this sexual setting that made me ick for a little bit

Her character is basically nothing outside of the sociopathic, hyperactive silly goober

In my rewrite she's more reserved while still holding on to that hyperactiveness of her, shes a clean freak and kinda a sociapath often times.

While she hold on to that shes a rather friendly and approachable character, shes like that one friend you would talk your problems with all the while she offered to get rid of the problem (in more ways than one). While she has her flaws with her, it wss established that she was not aware that what her doing is wrong, because in her human life she never thought about right or wrong

And yes in my rewrite shes a rather young gal (maybe high school age?), how did she met alastor? No one knows

And she's ace btw, it just doesn't accured to me she will be the type to think about romance, let alone sex.

In my rewrite he is an polite and old timey man, he is a gentleman and quite a charmer. Hes smart, observant and confident.

He'll probably will be the only character in my rewrite to not swear once, instead he will passive aggressively critisize someone with his signature gentleman words for example:

Okay! Finished Helluva Boss season two! I should've listened to the people telling me not to watch it.

This post is inspired by @kittenface40 after they said they would like to see my thoughts on season two. This is a very long post, just a little warning.

Sooo let's start off with the things I like, don't worry there's not a lot. Well the animation is really good as always, they gave more depth to Fizzarolli and Ozzie and they actually became my favorite couple and Fizzarolli is now my favorite character. I liked Blitzo in this season, particularly his interactions with Fizzarolli. I think they have a very sweet friendship. Millie and Moxie were lovely as always. And I really liked seeing Blitzo vent about his frustrations with Stolas in "Oops!" He wasn't even wrong, but now the show is trying to say Stolas cares about Blitzo when nothing showed that. But I'm supposed to be talking about the stuff I like. We find out Moxie is bisexual which is really cool! Striker is also an amazing villain, and I'm prettyyy sure he is ace, which again is really cool! Now onto the stuff I disliked. Everything else. Just kidding. Mostly. Well I hate the way they try to make it seem like Blitzo is the abuser, while what he did to Stolas in season 2 episode 1 was not cool and definitely a new low for him, that doesn't make what Stolas did ok!? Two wrongs don't make a right?? It feels like they only made that episode to victim blame Blitzo, which is never a good look. And now they are trying to insist that Stolas has feelings for Blitzo when like nothing showed that? He always treated him like a sex toy, talked down to him, embarrassed him in public, and continued to call him Blitzy when he knew he didn't like it, but apparently, that's fine! We never see him slowly treat Blitzo with more respect and actually value him as anything more than a sex toy. He always treats him the same all the time, and we're just supposed to believe that Stolas loves him? I'm not buying it. And Stolas getting badly hurt, while it was satisfying deserved and long overdue, did nothing to advance the plot? It seemed like it would be some big emotional moment that would have serious consequences but the next time we see him he's completely fine? Just walking and talking like everything's normal? Huh? It was just filler for the sake of filler. Very few episodes actually advance the plot and while most of the characters are lovely, most of them. That's not enough to make me not realize the filler. Now, I do know a show does not need to really have an ongoing plot, some shows want to be shows you can jump into without needing to watch previous episodes. And that's fine, one series that did this really well was The Amazing World of Gumball. But the thing is Helluva doesn't know what it wants to be, some episodes will be filler for the sake of filler then it will randomly have super plot-heavy episodes? What? I do see potential in this show, like how I did with spop, and I don't think it's too far gone. Hopefully, it gets better but my hopes aren't high. Leona Kingscholar: This mf rich kid-He was a Pokémon kid and he had every card known to man kind,Probably has them in those card display binders or whatever their called,Hasn't touched em in years but the moment Cheka tries to touch them all of a sudden he's all like "Dont touch that!"

Ruggie Bucchi: NOONE EVER KNOWS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT WHEN I MENTION THIS SHOW BUT THIS SHOW WOULD'VE BEEN HIS SHIT:

Jack Howl: Oh i just know hes a Proud Family enjoyer,His favorite character was Sugar Mama or Trudy.No inbetween.

Jade Leech: Oh I know he was into Gravity Falls.He knew the entire story before anyone else could even put the pieces together.
