remember my Apocalypse tawog au? i did a "redesigning" thing ab rob in this au(?).. it looks like shit, really, i prefer the old design, but i just...i just cant draw.

Rob and Penny are super friends. Penny even considers Rob like a brother and Polly loves Rob very much too. Penny helped him cut his hair in a way that covered the static on his cheeks (it worked amazingly, but he's really uncomfortable with the hair on his face)

he is trying to find a way to make a vaccine for those infected (The apocalypse is about the void) and wants to try to save everyone

Rob, during the time he stayed with the survivors (including Gumball), ended up falling in love with Gumball, Which is sad because Gumball thinks Rob is one of those to blame for the apocalypse...

He tries his best to save and find some survivors, infected or not. However, most people were afraid of Rob being another infected person or a zombie because of the glitches and static, so Rob became very insecure and even started hiding the static on his body.

I don't really have plans to.. explore this AU too much but, with all the MLP AU's going around I really wanted to do one with TAWoG so, here's a long recap of the idea;

Basically; everyone and everything falls into the void and it closes. Rob yells at everyone saying that they should've listened to him!!! Now they're stuck in limbo, with no clues on how to get out. No one knows what he's talking about but it seems he's right, there's literally no way out, at least that's how it seems.

Time goes on though no one knows how long other than by how the kids are aging; as that happens though, everyone starts getting depressed and unsure of how to go on, the void is incredibly scary and just.. it's a lot of existential crisis' ya know? Richard decides he wants to try cheering everyone up and so he gives Gumball and Darwin a hug. A very specific hug…. you know where this is going.

The joy virus begins to spread and Rob (who hadn't seen or heard of it at all) is terrified. (Ms. Simian knew right away and when seeing her reaction, Rob runs to her side, asking her what's going on. She tells him they need to get somewhere safe and she'll explain. He gets her to a higher platform, seeing as the infected don't understand void physics quite yet.) She explains everything, telling him to avoid them at all costs. Rob looks down at all the smiling faces and shivers. Of course other survivors made their way through the void (like Small, who got used to the 'physics' pretty quickly.)

About a week or so into this infection, Rob found himself running from a hoard of infected, when he trips and in doing so, he spots something. Rob finds the universal remote. "But I thought….. *he hears laughing behind him* no time!" and he uses it to (hopefully) open a way out; it only opens to Elmore so he just decides to go through with it. (He was hoping for another channel or somethin' LOL.) Rob goes to close the portal but Gumball and Darwin leap out after him. Rob points the remote at them to get them away but when he does, nothing happens. He clicks a few more times only for them to snicker.. wait they're not laughing?? and why do they sound normal…?

"Gonna keep clicking that?" Gum raised his eyebrow with a smirk.

"Wha- b-but you're infected!?! How are you talking?!?!"

"What are you talking about? We're not…" they realize that somehow, they're not infected, despite their eyes still being shiny. A permanent change to their designs.

Because he was so focused on them, he didn't realize that the rest of the infected had gotten out of the void and made their way into town.

"Oh great, they got out."

The virus seemed.. different though.. now with everyone out of the void; things started changing. Characters began showing static patches amongst the rainbow saliva and big eyes, but the more infected you are, the more void-looking you become. (the eyes stop looking "cute" and become more soulless). Body parts become changed and more void-like. Infected cry out in pain, saying that it hurts or that they just want to be normal again, except; don't fall for their wails, it's their way of just trying to get you close enough, it's really hard to determine if they're 'conscious' and in 'pain' or if it's just a tactic, no one wants to stick around to find out.

Rob figures out that Gum and Dar are 'immune' in a sense because of plot armor. They're the main characters, of course they're safe… why wouldn't they be. Rob is slightly confused why he or Darwin is immune since really it's Gum who's the "main" character but.. nonetheless, they're around. He figures "Gum probably couldn't handle this alone.. guess we're here to help em'." Also, since Gum's got no one else from his family, he becomes very protective of Darwin. The two stick close to Rob since he's got the remote and seems to navigate himself through chaos pretty well. (Rob's tried using the remote on the infected but it doesn't work. He can only use it to blast them a few feet away to get a chance to run. The power button doesn't do anything.) - Some Notes:

Any survivors left are either still in the void or hiding in the town, no one is really trusting one another anymore

Another Note: The infection mutated because it starts in the void - making it an actual infection, and not something as simple a curable virus like in the episode. It's also very unsettling for Rob. He hates that he looks like it (because of his glitched appearance) bUT ultimately that's what helps 'save' him.

Gumball starts using the name "Zach" because as time went on, he begins feeling more guilty, thinking that this is somehow his fault. It's 'his' world after all so he must be why this happened. (Rob and Darwin also live with guilt but for their own, undisclosed reasons.)

I wrote on the drawing Rob cuts his har, but Gum def. tries to help when he can. Darwin does as well but Rob usually just does it himself.

Darwin wears his 'nemesis' hat because it reminds him of their old life, how 'simple' things used to be. Happier times.

Gum is more short tempered, whereas Rob had to become the more logical one to keep them all in check. Darwin is the worrier but also keeps the peace whenever issues arise.

Gum is almost always getting into trouble which is why he's the most scuffed up. Darwin is well taken care of, due to Gum's overprotectiveness. Darwin is protective too but Gum doesn't really listen to em'.

Rob's static is there (I just didn't add it to the draw 'cause I'm dumb). It's almost always dark. Only on rare instances will his static look normal or go light (like it used to whenever he was happy.)) Similarly, Gum's ears are almost always down. It's rare they ever perk up anymore. (Whenever they do, it makes both Darwin and Rob a little happier.)

Penny is (sadly) too far gone infection wise to be saved; Gum did not take this lightly. He will eventually gain some feelings towards the cyclops but keeps them buried deep, deep down. In this kind of world, romance is a bad.. idea.

Aaaand that's about all I got!! Honestly this AU is open-ended and I still haven't exactly decided how the infected look, nor do I know if I ever even will design them. I'm not the best with Zombie AU's but I wanted to try!! If you guys have suggestions I'd love to hear em'!!

Soooo I was thinking about an AU I came up with back in January so I decided to doodle it again!! This is not canon to my main AU (obviously) and just is it's own AU entirely!!! This is called the "History Repeats" AU. An AU centered around Caspian, a Penball kid and his antics with his family. If I were to give it a more "show-like" name, it'd be; "The Captivating World of Caspian." (Pearl, Lilith and Kid are still in this AU as Darwin's kids, but obviously.. all my GumRob kiddos, are not. Idk who I'd put Darwin with in this AU but it's not really important lmao.) In this AU Penny and Gumball got engaged right out of high school (so like 19/20) and accidentally end up pregnant. However it was a lot of stress being so young so they broke off the engagement but still wanted to co-parent. A couple years later, Gumball ends up with Hot Dog Guy (and they have a daughter named Brisket, Cas' little sister in this AU.) Penny is still involved in Cas' life though!! Meanwhile, Rob ends up falling in love with none other than Chi Chi, someone who also despises Gumball. I do want to say, that is not the ONLY reason they get together. It's something they related to with one another but isn't the sole reason they get together. I kinda hate that trope. So no, Rob and Chi Chi fell in love with one another for their own reasons, not just over their distaste for a certain Watterson. Anyways, this little lad is their son, Xin. As the title of the AU suggests, history ends up repeating itself as Xin grows up with an intense dislike towards any of the Wattersons but especially Caspian. Seeing as Rob only believes their world 'went on' because of Cas' birth and that everything is still completely centered on the Wattersons. Well Xin doesn't like that, he wants it to be fair. NO ONE should be the 'star' and they should all get to live in a world that's fair. He will eventually find stuff about the void and the universal remote to make Cas' life hell, but.. will history repeat in the same way that Rob allowed Gumball to live? Or is Xin different than his father in getting what he wants and going to the ultimate extreme to get it.... Also I changed Xin's wording on purpose. Not just everyone Cas loves, everything. (I just didn't want it to be the exact thing Rob said so.. yeah idk) - EDIT: Adding the 3rd image because I have too. I like to joke that no matter how many AU's I make, there's always a "discount GumRob" ship somewhere. So yeah, I had too LMAO ~ I have no idea how often I'll draw this AU but I was thinkin' about it so I decided to doodle it. (that 2nd image is only added to show when I made the AU / first time I drew it lmao) One day I should make a post about every single AU I have with all my OC's because there's a few, but anyway, ye!! Xin and Brisket are actually from their own AU (which still needs a name) and are actually shipped together. But that's not relevant so I won't go off about it here. :P

To put it simply, god doesn’t like Rob. Bro really said “mmmyeaa this one is kinda boring” and sent him into the void (literally). Miraculously he got out, but his home, familly and basically everything he cared for is gone. Not to mention he became physically deformed in the process. This 13 year old little boy is now homeless without a purpose. And no one seems to be concerned for him. Please give this boy a home, he needs some good parents to take care of him and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

But god. genuinely I think having your entire body reformed, at 13, would definitely mess someone up. and no one really talks about how fucked up post void robs existence is I think.
