Brain Rot: TWST Cast with Saitama! Reader

OCTO NOTE: College has been absolutely brutal. These headcanons were worked on bit by bit these past few months :(

I saw some TWST fics that used pre-exsiting characters to based the MC off of and I wanted to try w/ one of my favourite characters.

WARNINGS: NOT PROOF-READ, OOC Behaviour, this is so cringe but very self-indulgent, mc is the most sane person in this universe, you decide if mc is bald or not, yandere if you squint hard enough.

Life at Night Raven College would be much more peaceful if MC had Saitama’s strength lol

Problems would've been solved quicker as well.

At first glance, you don’t seem to be a threat.

To most, you look like a regular, magic-less human on the outside.

And that’s what makes you so dangerous.

Don’t fuck around and overblot unless you have a death wish.

The Overblot crew definitely had one when MC swung their fist at them.

The whole prologue would be shortened.

Fun fact: You accidentally put too much force on the coffin door to get out, thus smashing Grim in the process while he was prying it open :D

Grim, the Ramshackle ghost, and Crowley were the first group to witness your impressive strength.

And by impressive, they mean terrifying.

To Crowley and Grim at least.

The ghost were shocked but very much amused after a couple moments.

God knows how the Ramshackle Dorm was still in one piece after that.

Grim is very happy to have a strong minion to protect him

Just don’t hurt him like you did with the ghost pls. And the door lol

Crowley would be most likely absolutely be afraid and made a mental note to keep track of you.

Especially since you were almost successful to killing him in his ghost form. He’s making sure that Ramshackle gets fixed quicker.

Crowley: “Great Sevens… How do they have such monstrous strength... This stowaway is just a magicaless human! My…what have I gotten myself into?? *sobs* OH IF I WASN’T SUCH A KIND AND GENEROUS SOUL I WOULD NOT LET THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR BE PRESENT ON MY CAMPUS” *more obnoxious sobbing*

You and Grim: 😶😐????

Despite scaring and almost killing the shit out of the Headmaster, you still start off as a janitor lol.

Fast forward to the Mine Incident with Ace, Deuce, and Grim—

You basically massacred that monster.

A monster that probably injured many Mages and Wizards

You destroyed it in one punch.

On that day, Ace reminded himself to never piss you off again. Ever.

He loves cherry pie, but would rather not become the filling itself, thanks.

Deuce probably was gawking at you after the shock.

Not in a bad way

But in a good way y'know?

But he’s too shy to ask for advice for now.

This is basically the start of Deuce idolizing you and your strength.

Brain Rot:

Ace, Deuce and Grim are your self-proclaimed bodyguards.

At least THEY like to think that they are.

Listen, they know that you are MORE THE CAPABLE protecting yourself in fights or in any physical confrontations.

But that’s it.

You’re basically shit at everything else.

From completing your assignments to even showing up to class, it seems like in the trio's eyes that you NEED THEM to take care of you. You all are like family now!

So they all make an effort to help you out when you need it.

No really, if you keep forgetting to submit that one potion essay that Crewel keeps smacking your shiny ass head to complete, you’re going to get left behind.

They’re more like secretaries than bodyguards lol.

The post-overblot Spelldrive tournament was an absolute nightmare.

Well, at least for everyone but Ace, Deuce, and Grim.

They were GLOATING about how they were in the lead and challenged anyone to try and top them like the smug, over-confident assholes they are.

The only reason why they were in the lead was because of you. Simple as that.

The Savannaclaw gang put up a good fight

For the first 10 minutes in the match.

All Leona could do at that moment was strategize how not to get his and his teammate’s heads chopped off by the disc you kept throwing at them.

You are quite fond of Ruggie

More specifically: you were fond of Ruggie’s haggling skills.

If were had a choice to trade your god-like strength for his haggling skills and techniques, you wouldn’t hesitate one bit.

And y’know it wouldn’t be Ruggie if he didn’t take advantage of this. He would offer you advice and tell you if theres a huge sale going on at a near-by grocery store if you promise to lend him a hand whenever he needed it.

You were so tempted to say no

Not because he was shady and overall untrustworthy

You’re just lazy

This is his way to spend more time with you but he would never admit that out-loud.

If your MC is bald, instead of Floyd squeezing you, he will smack and ‘dribble’ your head as if it was basketball.

Jamil and Ace especially are amused.

God forbid you ever get a bad tan on the top of your scalp

You will NEVER hear to end of it.

Floyd also is your biggest bully.

Yeah he knows that you could probably kill him with a gentle tap

But when did that ever stop him?

He mainly does it because he wants to see your reactions

You’re so plain looking and your nonchalant voice and facial expressions do not help as well.

But remember only Floyd HIMSELF can do those things to you, okay? Only him.

If he ever finds out that some random NPC student was doing the same thing to you, You’re going to be finding that NPC tossed in a corner somewhere with almost all their joints mangled.

You like how generous Kalim is.

You probably helped him fan the fire off his ass in the ceremony

He’s was incredibly thankful and was able to remember what you looked like.

I mean, you literally saved him!

How could he not remember you?

You don't remember him but let’s not go there lol

Because you saved Kalim from being cooked, he always makes sure that you had enough food for the month!

He would practically beg, like BEG Jamil to make extras so you won’t go hungry.

Especially after experiencing what type of living conditions you were dealing with in Book 5.

Poor Jamil, not only is he working overtime for Kalim, but technically serving food for the person who ruined his plans back in Book 4.

Kalim also begs Jamil to let him deliver the food to you.

He can’t help it! He really enjoys seeing you happy when you receive something from him and Jamil.

You never complain about.

Free food = Saving money.

I mean, if you're being gifted something, why be rude and deny it?

Some students say that you were taking advantage of Kalim because of how easily you accept his gifts without anything in return.

And y'know they could be right

But Kalim doesn't mind.

As long as you're happy, he's happy :)

In Vil’s eyes, you are an enigma.

It’s like he can’t wrap his pretty little head around on how he feels about you.

On one hand, other than your god-like strength, you’re nothing special. When he first saw you he only disregarded you as another potato that’s not worth his precious time and effort on.

But on the other hand, Vil sees you as a blank slate. Something that ASKING for him to put his smooth and perfectly manicured fingers on. Someone that needs his guidance and skills.

He doesn’t care if you’re bald or have hair, it doesn’t derail him from the fact that despite you sticking out like a sore-thumb, you’re still so…plain looking.

You probably said some off-hand comment about how ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’ to Vil and just walked off.

It might not meant anything to you

But it meant a lot to Vil.

When it came to the overblots and eventually Book 5, he felt as though he was in a spiral of questions that he himself must find the answers for.

And what were the questions that caused Vil’s current state of disarray about? You obviously.

He’s going mad

He can’t stand it.

You said that beauty is in the eye of the holder? Fine then.

He knows that he could do something for you.

Something marvellous, something beautiful.

For you and himself.

You had a new nickname for Malleus every time you guys end up running into eachother.

Malleus would always look forward to meeting you solely for the nicknames.

I believe that Saitama genuinely does not care enough to remember other people’s names that much

So that will be a trait for MC in this.

Malleus probably thinks this is a way humans show affection to each other.

In reality, you cannot for the life of you remember that weirdo's name.

Malleus: *Appears out of thin air in front of the MC*

Malleus: Greetings, Child of Man *smiles*

MC Thinking: ‘Why does this rando keep coming back? What was his name again?’

Malleus: *Anticipating their response with excitement*

MC: Uhhhh..

MC: Wassup…Horton? :D

Malleus: *Smiles at his new nickname*

It took a while for you to come up with a permanent nickname for him but he doesn't mind

In his eyes, it's your way of showing him how much you wanted to become closer companions.

Jack and Epel are always on your ass about “How to become stronger” and when you actually tell them the routine that you did at the beginning of your journey, they literally fell in disbelief.

They couldn’t believe it.

It was basically a simple workout routine

Both still believe that you’re hiding the secret of how you got to your level of strength.

Thus, joint workouts became also a thing within the NRC Campus and you are the leader.

Not by choice however.

Jack, Epel, and everyone else involved were really curious as to how you train.

I mean, look at what you can do! And you’re not even a Mage!

The first meeting was terrible due to the fact you almost obliterated the school.

One flick and the gym could’ve been in shambles.

That’s why Jack and Epel made sure to do it somewhere far and secluded.

And even then, you still created a lot of damage with minimal effort.

It’s incredible to those who look up to you.

Throughout the story, you gained some admiration and recognition along the way.

From Heartslaybul to Diasomnia, you unknowingly grab the admiration of those who either want to become stronger or see you as a hero.

Some might say that they see you as the messiah who was sent to protect the school.

But let’s not go that far.

You wouldn’t notice anyways

In your eyes they're all a bunch of weirdos.

OCTO NOTE: Hopefully you guys enjoyed these very terrible brain-rot headcanons. I always found Saitama’s character interesting so I wanted to try out something new.

Dorm Leaders with an s/o chosen for the bride of a ghost prince!

Hi! As much as I want to do all dorm leaders, I’m not extremely familiar of a few of their personalities as well as my 3 character limit so I’ll only do the ones I know a little better!

pairings: Riddle, Leona, Idia x f!reader (she/her pronouns used)

cw/tws: light misogyny from the prince in Leona’s part.

Note: The “ghost prince” in this post does not share a very similar personality with Eliza, I am not saying that she acts like the prince in this post during the Phantom Bride event. There are also differences in this post compared to the original event story because some dorm leaders were either absent in the event or part of the group that were stunned by Eliza’s slap, in the case of Idia it’s because he was the one kidnapped.

Riddle Rosehearts

You were out walking to the school store for ingredients with Trey for the next unbirthday party when you saw the ghost prince looking for his “bride”.

He spotted you and immediately ran up to you and declared to his retainers that he has found his bride and they dragged you off, Trey tried to fight them but a 1-to-however many he was no match.

Running to the Hall of Mirrors, he went to Heartslabyul and informed Riddle to which he was furious about.

Stealing THE Riddle Rosehearts’ s/o AND forcing her into marriage?! He was not having ANY of it.

Definitely informed Crowley about it first tho, to which he was given the same explanation of his kingdom being destroyed without him being wedded with a smile on his face.

It was…awkward trying to get you back, he needed to attempt to woo the guards at the front of the cafeteria just to get in, he didn’t even need to woo you like this.

He saw the prince presenting you to his retainers as if you were just some trophy and Ace had to calm him down from doing anything to the prince that might ruin the entire plan.

Thought about giving the prince a second death right then and there.

But he couldn’t help but swoon a little though when he saw you in the wedding dress that the prince had picked out for you, it fit you perfectly, the colors complemented your hair, skin, and eyes to a T.

He thought about marrying you after this whole situation was over actually, seeing you carry your dress to walk towards him with a smile made him think about how he wants your wedding with him to be like.

Leona Kingscholar

The audacity you must have to steal from Leona Kingscholar himself.

It was a weekend so you managed to drag Leona off his bed to go outside and wander around the campus, that’s when you met the ghost prince.

The prince and his retainers tried pulling you off him but Leona had a mean grip on you, the ghosts only managed to get you after Leona’s arm on you weakened for a single second. Taking that advantage they pulled you and dragged you away from the better prince.

Only told Crowley after attempting to get you himself twice and failing.

Crowley only told the story of the prince now and he was mad on how the Headmage never even thought of informing anyone.

Busted through the cafeteria doors with no hesitation and did not give a shit about the prince yelling at him.

“C’mon, you’re also a fellow prince, right? You must know the importance of having a queen by your side, like to have an heir or—” “Do you want to die”.

He made sure you were safe in the corner of the room while he helped the others fight Puffy, he was definitely even more angry when the prince realized his feelings for his guard.

Please give him more cuddles that night, he got scared he would lose you to someone else though he won’t say it out loud.

He definitely hugged you tighter than night and didn’t let you go until you had to forcibly remove him from you because you wanted to eat breakfast.

Not one to think of marriage despite his age, he just wanted you back that entire day and was REALLY grumpy throughout the whole situation.

Idia Shroud

“Huh? What happened to Ortho?” Idia said to himself seeing that Ortho was sending distress signals and using a lot of his magic which was something he rarely did.

Idia connected with his brother and saw that he was…fighting ghosts? And that you were being held by one?!

He is not going to let this slide, he may be a nerdy shut-in but no way is he just going to stand and watch as his girlfriend is in danger.

Putting on a pair of shoes as quickly as possible, he darted out of his dorm room to the Main Street where this commotion was being held.

As he came out of the mirror of Ignihyde, Idia bumped into his brother, his eyes looking at him panicking.

“Brother! (Name)’s been kidnapped! I saw them bringing her to the cafeteria, all those ghosts were strong and they just kept reviving every time I attacked them!”

Enemies that can revive themselves? Is the world being serious? Is he walking into a boss fight unprepared right now?

He peered into the cafeteria’s windows using small drones connected to his tablet, all he saw was the prince being all lovey-dovey towards you.

‘Hey! I should be the only one doing that!’ he thought, realizing what he said in his head the ends of his hair burnt a small pink.

After the situation settled and you were saved from the ghost prince, he saw you walk oh so elegantly towards him in the midnight blue dress that the prince picked out for you.

He looked at you in awe, eyes sparkling as if he was seeing the best view in his life, because he was.

“Idia, thanks for helping save me, that prince was a real bother trying to make me marry him, we all know who I really want to marry” you huffed in frustration at the memory of the prince.

Although he knew the answer, Idia still asked

“It’s you of course! No one’s a better person for me than you, Idia” you grinned.

♧ it had been one hell of a week.

Have you ever thought of the imposter au with the staff of raven College? I could just imagine Crewel being the reason the reader is summoned to twst while not fulling knowing it (Probably coming in at the end to safe then after realize shits going down). That and maybe Crowley and Vargas going full mad dog and just chasing the reader like crazy. Maybe Trein tripping over his cat while chasing and reader/imposter feeling bad about it. Along with Sam using shadow creature to track the imposter down. Just a fun ideas I've been having, feel free to ignore.

I have thought about it before. I believe I even once mentioned that I would make a separate post for it eventually. Recently been thinking about platonic yan staff, so like fatherly type stuff for those of you with daddy issues.

Platonic yan Crowley! Wants to be your father figure so bad. Why won't you let him take you under his wing? You'd be his little fledgling! Ah, he must do his best to protect you! He is the headmaster of a prestigious school with unfortunately many arrogant troublesome students. Often he'll dramatically lament, inquiring why you don't wish to spend time with your dear old father? When you reply with a deadpan, "You're not my dad, Crowley." He'll break out into a melodramatic wail, oh woe is him that his own child does not wish to partake in any activities with him! Ah–– a way home, you ask? Well, during one of his many hours long searches in the library to find you a way home, something he adamantly assures you he's been doing, he had the most profound idea which he shall so graciously share with you! Why not stay in Twisted Wonderland and allow him to formally adopt you? Then you shall be his child and he will be sure to provide you with all the love and care you need! Isn't he a genius with such boundless benevolence?

Platonic yan Divus! Probably believes the whole world is out to get you. You poor little thing, far from home, lost and afraid, with no where else to go. Eventually he'll begin to doubt that Crowley is taking proper care of you, and deem his efforts as inadequate. Look at this wretched place, an old dorm filled with cobwebs and ghosts is supposed to be your home? An old oversized uniform and a handful of cheap worn clothes from the shop are all you have to wear? And your classmates, his own students, oh he knows what they're like. A bunch of ruthless mischief making pups! This is unacceptable! Divus will spoil you like his own. He has a soft spot for you, so when he's improving your conditions and getting rid of the old dirtied items, you hold up that feral monster cat and go, "Can I at least keep Grim? Please?" Ah, the puppy eyes. How could he say no to you? But that cat is getting a bath first. Oh, and he's incredibly wary of all the students. In his eyes, none of them are good enough to be your friends, and he's beginning to suspect all of them of trying to take advantage of you. Listen here, darling, you are not to trust any other men besides himself, are we clear?

Platonic yan Vargas! Oh god, not another one. Somehow, he's worse than the other two dads you've acquired. Especially because he thinks your escape attempts are some sort of crazy athletic training regimen. He's come to think of your monthly escape attempts as survival training, so not only is he enjoying himself but he's more than capable of keeping up and capturing you. Then dragging you back to NRC with a proud grin, boasting about how you got so much further than last time! "Let me go! Let go of me!" That's the spirit, he cheers. Seems like you're raring to train again, but now's the time regain your energy for next month! Eagerly tells you stories about his youth, how he was the strongest and most popular! He really wants you to look up to him, and he likes to think he's your favorite dad. Especially when it comes to Crewel, let's say they have differing opinions on how to properly care for you. While his counterpart prefers to pamper you, Vargas believes you need more activity and excitement in your life! Wouldn't you agree with him? Come on, give him a smile now!

Platonic yan Trein! The only real dad on the list. He has two sons that are already full adults now, and he believes you'd get along wonderfully with them. You would be their new younger sibling. "That's kinda... dumb. I'm not their sibling though." You comment, as he responds, it is not foolish to want all three of his children to get along. It's a bit annoying that you can never really get on his nerves, despite him being notoriously strict and a little intimidating with his stoic look. But like most of the dads on this list, he too has a weak spot for you. He still expects you to be a well-behaved though. No matter what you're like, he can handle it. After all, he's been a professor at NRC for so long, that he's seen and taken care of countless students. If you're looking for quiet time, he's probably the best to be with by far. He'll let his feline familiar Lucius sit on your lap as he serves you a platter of cookies with a hot beverage. When you do try to get on his nerves for whatever reason, it never works, so you end up plopping down beside him on the couch in defeat, angrily opening a magazine as he calmly continues to read a book. Now that the opportunity has present itself, he'd like to have a word with you. You should know that you are his pride and joy. That being said, should any of his students be pestering you, inform him immediately and he'll handle it promptly.

Platonic yan Sam! Most likely the best one to be with. It doesn't even feel like he's trying to be your dad, he's more like a cool but still concerning weird uncle. But if you had to classify him as a dad, he'd be the chill one. Although it is scary that he seems to know way more about you than you ever told him about. You suspect it has something to do with his friends on the other side. Whenever you're not with him, you have spied an oddly moving shadow or two... But the upside about that is, he always seems to know what you want. If it's small, he'll offer it for free. If it's a bigger item, he'll let you have it if you work the shop with him for a few hours. What's say you, huh? Sound like a deal? He'll entertain you a trick or two while you're here! Sam likes to call you his little good luck charm, because you tend to bring in more customers and just put him in a good mood. He choses to trust you, more than the other dads, probably because he knows you can't escape because he's always watching you somehow. You go on ahead, just be back by dark, you hear? He wouldn't want to send his friends to force you back home if you stay out late, m'kay?

Yuu's in a box. Not just any box though, it's a coffin, they're trapped in a god-damned coffin. Today was supposed to be a normal Tuesday, Yuu wakes up, eat breakfast and go to school. But instead, what happen was their sleep-deprived ass got snatched up in the middle of the streets by an emo carriage.

Yuu was kidnapped by an emo carriage and is now trapped in a coffin.

Gee, they wonder if that even is a considerable reason for them to miss the Calculus exam that was supposed to take place today. Ah, fuck it, Jason's grandma "died" literally like five times last school year and still graduated. Who's to say Yuu won't?

Dire Crowley, the esteemed headmaster of Night Raven College, is in a wild and confusing predicament right now. Somehow, a month before even the new school year officially began, A student somehow arrived in of the coffins.

In all of his years being the headmaster, such thing had never happened. Great sevens, this situation had never once even crossed his mind as a potential problem! Did the Ebony carriage have a problem? Perhaps even the mirror itself? But both of that would be impossible!

"goodness gracious, where is that child" he muttered to himself, a hint of worry lacing his voice.

Dire Crowley was just finishing his stack of paperwork when a distressed and confused ghost school keeper barged into his office informing him that one of the coffins received a student. The headmaster rushed to the scene right away only to find a busted coffin and a missing "student".

This all leads to him, along with squad of ghosts, scurrying along the school grounds to find the wayward child.

"Headmaster! I found them!" Bobby, one of the ghost staff that manages the cafeteria, shouted with glee and relief "they're at the top floor of west wing's tower!"

He hurriedly rushed (again) to the scene and found the teen in a complete daze, their eyes focused on the ocean's horizon. Crowley cleared his throat and the supposed student immediately snapped their attention on him.

"The island view is breathtaking, correct?" Crowley began, trying to ease them "it's one of the boasting qualities of N-"

"..island...stein.." they mumbled something but Crowley only manages to make out a few words.

Excerpt: Of course, of all the people to find him out here it had to be a goddamn cop. Dean’s dumb fucking luck. Exhausted as he is, Dean pushes himself upright, muscles tensing for a fight. One that he’s in no shape for. A running mantra of ‘I should never have come back’ loops continuously through his head. “I can’t believe it’s really you.” The man’s voice, deep and low, softens even further. “Of course, you must be here to see your father.” Dean drags his attention from the pressed navy shirt, the gold badge, the holstered gun, to the cop’s face. It takes a moment for the cogs in his syrup-slow brain to click and whirr and make the connections, then he finally realises who’s standing in front of him. A wave of emotions crashes into him. Tumultuous and devastating. He sways on his feet. There’s no way. No fucking way. He wouldn’t have. Not after everything that happened. Unconsciously, Dean hugs his arms around his ribs and defiantly juts his chin upwards. “Castiel Novak.” Cas smiles, stiffly, unsure. “It’s a long time since you called me Castiel.” “It’s a long time since we’ve seen each other,” Dean points out, ensuring not a hint of friendliness enters his voice even though the frostiness in his tone plunges shards of glass into his own heart. Cas’ tense smiles strains even further, uncertainty wrinkling between his eyes. Still deeply blue. Still pretty. “That's true. Too long, Dean. I’ve missed you. Everyone has. Sam. Your parents.” Dean snorts. “Yeah, I don’t think so.” “Dean…” Dean isn’t sure what Cas is about to say, something patronising or pitying no doubt, something he refuses to listen to. “I need to go,” he says, cutting him off sharply. “Oh. Of course. Your dad. He’s doing well, I hear. He’ll be thrilled to see you.” “Hopefully not too thrilled under the circumstances,” Dean can’t help saying wryly. “Wouldn’t want to give him another heart attack.” He would laugh at the resultant flustered expression on Cas’ face if he was currently capable of feeling any emotion beneath his brittle shell of shock. Shock and betrayal. He moves to leave on feet that seem to be mired in lead. His eyes stray to the badge on Cas’ chest again before he catches himself and snaps his gaze back to the hospital door. “Dean.” Cas reaches out as Dean edges past him. His fingers rest lightly on Dean’s forearm. “If you want to talk about your dad, or just to catch up, or…anything, you know I’m here for you.” Dean smiles, northwind-cold, eyes like ice. He pulls away from Cas’ touch. “I don’t think so, deputy.” Cas’ hand jumps to the gun at his hip as though he’s forgotten he’s wearing it. Dean catches a flash of something that looks like hurt in Cas’ eyes before he turns away. He ignores Cas calling after him on the interminable walk to the hospital entrance.

HI BESTIE I DO INDEED. not the word window somehow but i do have water! ...a lot actually because. holy water and all that. but here's a snippet with the word water that is not in fact related to holy water.

this is from an unpublished fic you asked about months ago actually but i shall give the premise again for ease: the fic (freudian theory and complex humanity) is post-final fifteen and it's just crowley hanging out with his duck friend that he met at st james's park in 1967 and made immortal—not illegal if no one knows!. the duck is called esther, and it's explained in the first chapter that crowley named her after queen esther (may not be a biased decision stemming from the fact that esther is my favourite book of the bible). the whole fic is just crowley going to meet esther at the park and they talk shit about each others' tragic lives because ducks have struggles too or whatever.

the context of this snippet—i'll shut up soon—is right after aziraphale leaves and esther loses one of her children (because she's old as hell), and crowley starts to feel guilty for making her immortal. skipped some parts in the middle because it's very long. and also it's unpolished because this was just written in my planning doc lol

"Do you really want this?" Crowley asks her, his voice just another ghost haunting the heavy air around them. "You'll see all your children die. Your grandchildren. I could reverse it all for you, if you wanted." "No one knows me like you do," she says in reply. "That won't matter when you're gone." "No one knows you like I do," she counters. "That would matter when I'm gone." "And whose fault is that?" Crowley asks bitterly. "It's not your… your duty, your burden, to hold onto the things that matter to me. Surely you can't live just for that." [...] She pushes on. "You said just now that I can't just live to make sure you have things that matter to you. But why not? It's always such a joy to see you. It's such a joy to love and know you are loved." To love. Crowley recalls their meeting, ages ago. That late morning sun and early spring wind, a duck and a demon and an angel. "What are we but the things we love," he murmurs, remembering. Esther hums. "Nothing," she says, just like she had said that day. Crowley inhales unsteadily, squeezing his eyes shut. He thinks of an angel. Esther hops onto his lap, pressing close against him. His tears soak into his jacket and her feathers. She feels sad. For him, and for herself. To her, it all just feels like water.

Alt Scenario: Ghost Bride Event

Yo, after seeing this post I got an idea for a slightly different premise for how Yuu swoops in as the final contingency plan. This could work for an ambiguous Yuu, but imma lean towards a f!Yuu just because it plays into a stupid trope that I like to see in shows or movies with romance subplots. Spoilers for Ghost Bride event

So it's time for the last team of bachelors to go and it's NOT going well. Crowley has no more suitors to throw at Eliza and Yuu is their only hope. He suggests making them a suitor even though "none of this princely shit is working, Crowley!"

Oh, but wait. We got a flickering lightbulb here. "Crowley, use your magic to give me a wedding dress!"

"W-what? Why? What are you planning to do?"

"Just shut up and do it!" Crowley groans but conjures a beautiful wedding dress for Yuu. Yuu slips on the magic ring and books it towards Eliza.

The final bachelor has just been paralyzed and Eliza insists on marrying Idia. Poor boy But Yuu bursts through the door, pretending like they just ran a marathon.

"IDIA! YOU BETTER NOT BE HIDING IN HERE!" All the paralyzed boys are staring in shock as Yuu angrily stomps inside, fully decked in a lavish dress, veil and all. Eliza is confused and dismissive. Why is another bride here?

"Excuse me, who are you? Can't you see I'm trying to start my wedding with my husband to be?" Meanwhile Idia is having a nervous breakdown.

"Excuse me?? Idia is MY fiance!" Yuu shows off the ring and improvises a story of them being engaged for months and Idia promising to marry them. Eliza is outraged and asks Idia if it's all true, but before he can answer, Yuu goes up to him and calls him a Two timing cheater who made them believe he loved them. Idia is SO confused meanwhile Yuu is giving their best crocodile tears.

"But that wasn't enough, you had the AUDACITY TO ROPE ANOTHER WOMAN INTO THIS!? SHE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY!" Eliza is almost speechless that Yuu is kind of defending her too, but now is angry her dream prince for "having an affair."

"THATS IT! UNEXCUSEABLE!" Eliza slaps the shit out of Idia and it's taking Yuu and the bachelors every ounce of restraint not to burst out laughing.

Yuu continues on between fake sobs, "and to think that I was your one and only! I bet you never even loved me!" Eliza gasps and slaps Idia again.

"And then you take advantage of this beautiful princess and made HER believe she was special!"

SLAP

This goes on until Idia starts glaring at Yuu who's obviously having way too much fun with this. Yuu turns to Eliza and apologizes to her for all the trouble their "lying groom" put her through. After all, "you seem like such a lovely soul." First Yuu defends Eliza's honor and now feels remorse for hurting her even though it wasn't even Yuu's fault? Huh...

Something's...different about this person.

Yuu then slips in some more compliments while asking Eliza if she's okay since she's been through a lot. Eliza can't help but feel her heart flutter. They start hitting it off and the bachelors can't fucking believe their eyes. Is Yuu actually taking a LIKING to Eliza?

Yuu sighs and says that they should head back. "It was nice meeting you Princess Eliza," Yuu takes Eliza's hand and plants a soft kiss on her knuckles, knowing she's absolutely eating this up. "I wish it were under better circumstances though. Perhaps we can meet again. In another life?" Oh god, Eliza fucking loves the cheese of that line and can't help herself.

"Wait!" Eliza clasps Yuu's hand and asks for their hand in marriage. The boys are losing it in the background.

Yuu agrees and takes the ring off their finger. "Idia gave me this ring, but I don't want to associate it with heartbreak. If it's okay with you, I'd love to give this ring a new meaning, with you." Eliza nods happily and Yuu slips it on, reciting the spell. "I vow to love you for as long as you live."

"Thank you." Eliza smiles and disappears in a myriad of sparkles. Soon after, the ghosts follow and all the paralyzed bachelors slowly regain control of their bodies.

"Oh my god, she ate that shit UP." Yuu breaks out in laughter. "Did you guys see that? I had her wrapped around my finger!" Yuu proceeds to rub it in all their faces that none of them got game.

I'm sorry, I love the two women who were philander-ed by the same guy become friends to lovers trope.

ok so obviously. They are a ghost. But they weren’t supposed to, well at least he shouldn’t be on the neutral plane

There IS a plane for ghosts but that’s obviously not Ghost Host (or on that same note, Rubem for example) is, and that is due to uh… interplane technical problems

But there’s no way anyone can know that so any ghosts that get trapped on the neutral plane just assumed they became a ghost bc they died and it is what it is yk

BUT Ghost Host is a menace. A little bitch if you will.

Don’t let his cool ass design fool you, he is NOT a good person (ghost, person, whatever, you get it), but oh boy he got soo much worse when he became a ghost, they never did anything bad but he saw not being alive + being able to pass through stuff + "teleporting"/flying + becoming invisible as a cool opportunity to he wicked

so the story until now: they were alive yeah ok BAM they're fucking dead and plans are kinda weird rn so my bro becomes a ghost on earth?? Oh my God so cool that's a great moment to do shit and be evil tm, how you ask me? Technical issues I mentioned were out of their hands but they figured they could make the damages smaller if they took any ghosts that got trapped to the right plane (which I'm still working on)

So yipee!!! Ghost Host is not on earth anymore!!!!

im wondering because ive seen a few posts about cas ghosting dean and the only times i can think of that he does that are season 6 fighting the angel war, season 8 running off with the angel tablet, and season 12 going behind his back to steal the colt. which are all situations where hes doing something dean disapproves of/will try to stop him. idk you can debate whether cas was right but it feels very different from this idea that he never answers dean's calls because he just cant be fucked?

ok a few things:

the post was not about the intentions of either character. it was simply highlighting how dean has been "ghosted" and ignored by people he cares about and left to worry for days / weeks / months, not knowing if they were alive or not and how this is a recurring theme in his life. always left waiting and worried / terrified he'll never see someone again. that's all. no one is saying cas is a horrible, Bad, evil, malicious person for doing this or that he ignored dean for the hell of it. simply that his actions, regardless of his reasons, unknowingly hurt dean in a very specific way that mirror's john's actions, unfortunately.

re: intentions, yes most often cas's reasons for not contacting dean are because he's doing something behind the winchester's backs. most often with good intentions! from his POV he thinks he's doing the right thing. cas always wants to take things on himself, and that's part of his own trauma from being seen a tool for heaven for billions of years. he always wants to "prove" his worth. he always wants to come back with a "win" for the winchesters. but that's not something dean puts on him.

and all of those times you listed are times when dean expressed he wanted to help / work together. when cas was fighting his civil war dean asks cas to come to him if he needs help. dean always wants to help / be in the loop so he can help. that's part of why cas fucking off to do his own thing and not telling dean is often perceived as "ghosting." like, good intentions aside, cas often barrels headlong into things that he Knows might not be the "right" thing. Half the time his decisions backfire too. Like going to crowley / opening purgatory + swallowing the souls. running off with the tablet? cas was the one who decided to go off alone and not trust dean. dean wanted cas to stay with them and figure things out together. the colt? dean wanted them to all work together, cas decided to go on his side quest.

back to intentions again, cas always believes he's acting on good intentions, and well, the same could be said about john? like, from john's POV he thought he was doing the right thing, he thought he was keeping his boys safe by keeping them out of the loop. he ignored them for so long in s1 because he didn't want them getting involved. similar to how cas knew dean and sam wouldn't approve of what he was doing or would want to get involved in something cas believed was his job to solve, john also knew dean and sam would want to get involved in the hunt for azazel so he pushed them away and kept them in the dark. he personally had "good intentions" and his "reasons" for ghosting them, but regardless these actions still hurt them. and then add in all the times john failed to check in when they were kids, dean was constantly worrying john could be dead, as a child and as an adult in s1. and living with that kind of constant fear leaves scars imo which unintentionally get reopen every time someone dean cares about goes ghost for whatever reason.

and well, i'd say it hurts even more when it's cas because sure, john's a piece of shit more often than not, but cas is dean's best friend (and love!) and to be ignored / left in the dark when most often dean just wants to know cas is okay or so they can work together to solve whatever problem is going on? it hurts.

so, yes cas had his reasons and his intentions were often good! no one is saying they weren't. but the lack of communication, the bare minimum of any relationship, still hurts dean.

it's not unreasonable for dean to want his best friend to let him know he's okay / alive periodically, especially when they live in a literal supernatural horror fantasy show where they can get dead at any time. i don't think anyone is really saying cas is just ignoring him for no reason. sure he has his reasons. and regardless the lack of communications still hurts.

but also. the miscommunication is very delicious to me personally as a viewer.

tldr: anyways i don't think cas ghosts dean for no reason. i think he has his reasons. and still ghosts him bc he wants to come back with a win / doesn't want dean to get hurt / or stop him. but the ghosting still causes dean to worry / think he's dead / triggers a deep-seated anxiety and fears he's felt his whole life starting with john etc etc

I just read your Ramshackle fics?? Heascanons?? For Twisted Wonderland and oh my gods I am invested. All I can imagine is MC, livid and in tears, storming their way through campus to the headmaster’s office (where maybe a prefect meeting was about to start, like they were waiting on MC or something) and MC is pissed. Throwing a diary at the headmaster, cursing him out, claiming he killed them (the previous ramshackle students). Of course everyone is like “wtff 👀” staring at each other before MC takes another diary out of their bag and begins to read the entries (specifically about how they barely have any money for food and such, and that one kid who started the school year with a round healthy face is now very pale and thin). I’m sorry I can’t. Like it never crossed my mind that those graves could belong to previous students and the fact that it’s “covered up” especially in your story. I can also just imagine MC cleaning the gravestones afterwards like you said and the rest of the students checking up on MC. And like how would they react to all the diaries ending on the same date (especially if it’s fast approaching??). But like how would they other students react to the things MC discovered about the Ramshackle dorm in general.

But anyway, I love this. I love your story. It got my brain going, my brain thinking. Take you time, sweetie, but holy fuck I need more. Like shit this is so good!! Like I want to know more. I really want to know more. I can just see Ace, Deuce, Grim, and MC just going on little adventures uncovering the secrets of Ramshackle dorm, like holy shit. What if they found a journal about another student like MC, as in magic-less and essentially coming from a different world/dimension. Keep up the good work sweetie, my mind is completely blown.

I am so glad you loved it, bestie! And oh yes, I've come up with so much ramshackle brain rot and the whole there was another MC tidbit, I'll go into that with my own Mc, but I don't want to spoil anything.

I have it all but its all unorganized in a Google doc But here is a little snippet:

Crowley turns a blind eye to most things, especially when money and more acclaimed are involved. What's the cost of a few nobodys who can't do magic disappearing? They're just ghosts.. shadows, a blink and they're gone. Only a few remember those faceless, nameless students, and the memories they do have are of them being pushed down stairs or being forced to dance in hot iron shoes. Many of the NRC alumni have fond memories of being sorted into their dorms, making new friends, skipping classes to take a dip in the lake.

Sadly, for the students unlucky enough to be sorted into that dorm overlooking the hill, it was a death sentence. In the past, the dorm residents just dropped out after the first few months, not even making it to the first exams. However, enough stayed one year to warn teach the incoming first years. Most of the teachers were there for the check, and only a few cared about their students. For the ones who cared, seeing the life drain from some of the brightest minds they've seen was gut-wrenching. There was nothing they could do. Crowley turned his back as he counted his money, and all they could do was the same.

I absolutely love it when Disney let's Yana make the twst world dark, even if it's just little sprinkles. Like the gem mines and the two OB dwarfs, or what Leona went through back in the afterglow. I have a lot of stuff that I've written that I don't post much of because I let the intrusive thoughts win and shit gets dark quick. It's the implications of how TWISTED everything is, gets me going.

The ghosts don't remember a lot of their previous lives, but they feel a calling. So maybe doing that calling would help them remember so they can move on. They're not working because Crowley can cheap out; they're working because it's where they feel the safest. The librarian ghosts are there because, in some long forgotten past, they remember hiding away in the deepest parts of the library.

I like to play that the whole house is alive trope, but not in the way Casita is, but the way the house from Monster House is. Ramshackle is aware of everything and it's letting Mc solve the mystery of its forgotten past.

Mc didn't need to read the rest of the diaries to know how things went for the other students. They only needed to read one. While flipping through the pages, they noticed dark splotches littered the later entries. They thought it was just a way to censor the lives this school ruined, as the stain always covered the date or a name.

The log books weren't any better. Mc took note of how every few months the penmanship would change. Neat and flowing cursive to thoughtless and stiff chicken scratch, either the writer would change or they were reading someone else's devolve into insanity.

Day 45-

We were given our monthly budget … only 300 modals to split between 20 students. I asked the Headmaster if he could increase our amount but all he said he was stretched thin with the building of the new calaseam everyone's budget would be low for the coming months.

Day 49-

I asked around the other leaders and they said their budget had been the same… each of them getting around 3,000,000 modal.. That is 5 times the amount we get. We can only buy bread with the amount we're given.

Then at some point the log book changed from budgeting and general grievance to count how many students they'd lose.

Day 112-

I watched as two of my first years walked into the woods with five Scarabia third years following close behind. only the third years came out.. 18 students remain.

Day 195-

I sent two of my dorm members to collect papers from whoever is the current Savanaclaw dorm leader. It was a mistake as it's been three days and they have yet to return. 14 students remain.

Those are some of the things of note that I wrote for Ramshackle Lore. Tho the one thing I disagree with is Crowley part bestie... Sure, Crowley can be an ass, but he's shown that he cares about his students. Like during Chap 2, he could have ignored the students getting injured, but he didn't, so he went to the person he trusted the most to solve the case. Crowley knows that if he goes around asking questions, the students will get scared because if the Headmaster is calling the students getting injured into question, that means something bad is happening. Word got back to Leona that he would have to lay low, throwing his entire plan into the fire. So, by getting a student to do the questioning, the culprit would be caught. He also disregards leona's title and reprmands him for his dirty tricks.

I believe the previous headmaster(s) turned a blind eye to the treatment of previous ramshackle students. But it would be a great scene..

An angry Mc bursting into his office during a dorm leader meeting throwing a book at him while spewing vitriol at Crowley because, for all they know, he's been the headmaster. They blam him for the deaths of the students. He knew what was happening and he looked away, and he's going to do the same to them. Crowley shuffles through some of the pages. He can see why Mc would assume the worst. While waiting for them to calm down, he will explains himself.

Ramshackle had long abandoned when he became headmaster. It wasn't like he also wanted to know the history of the decaying dorm. Why do you think he meets with the ramshackle ghosts? Every time he thinks he's getting close to the truth, fifty more mysteries appear. It's all just a misunderstanding. He knows he can be irresponsible and let money blind him. Anyone would do that, but he'd never go as far as to let students hurt others just for the hell of it.
