One thing I love about Zuko and Mai as a couple is how snuggly they are with each other!

Like look at them!!!!!!!

They’re all over each other constantly, and it’s so adorable!!!!!!

Even in the beach episode when Zuko is being snappish with Mai and there’s a strain on the relationship…

…they’re still cuddling the whole time!!!!!

And with the family situations they grew up with they’re probably both super touch starved…

…so they seek out physical affection with each other because they don’t get it anywhere else!!!!

It’s so wonderful seeing how much they care for one another in their body language, especially since neither of them are good with words!!!!

I've seen this before, somewhere (i can't remember where I saw this), but I think about this at least once a day. I believe it's Diamond of the Day: part 1 where Merlin ends up losing his magic. So he goes to the Crystal Cave and eventually does get his magic back. However!! This man, is literally magic itself. He his literally the most powerful sorcerer ever to walk the Earth. He could have made anything, literally anything in the world when he got his magic back. But what does Merlin create? A butterflie.

He creates a butterfly and I think that is just about the most adorable thing ever.

Ask game. Most of us miss source more than anything, but let's take a moment to appreciate where we're at right now. What's something in this world that you didn't have in source that you appreciate? Mine is Google Documents—it's amazing to never have to write in cramped lettering until my wrist hurts.

The fact that Vaggie knew it was a HORRIBLE idea for her to go to Heaven because there were so many things that could go wrong and so many bad memories there, but her girlfriend needed her and she couldn't say no to her cute face; the fact that the headstrong, optimistic, determined, powerful Princess of Hell knew she couldn't handle taking this huge step alone and the only one person she could imagine being by her side in that critical moment was Vaggie.

The fact that even when she felt so hurt, heartbroken, and betrayed and tried for a second to deny it, Charlie never stopped loving Vaggie, still referred to her as her girlfriend, and had full faith that she was completely succeeding in her task (getting detailed sensitive information from a weapons-dealing Overlord) while Charlie herself was struggling and failing with her own.

The fact that even with Charlie so upset that she intentionally threw a painful commentbat her (a comment with a subtle double meaning, though Charlie herself was definitely NOT thinking clearly enough to realize that implication and only meant to make a jab at the secret-keeping), Vaggie still wanted so desperately to protect Charlie out of love that she regrew angelic wings despite having been in Hell for years.

The fact that one gesture from Charlie told Vaggie everything she wanted to say to her, and that mutual understanding was so complete that she didn't hesitate to run to her knowing she would be accepted because her girlfriend still loved her and forgave her.

The support, love, and intimate understanding these two share even when things are hard and painful is so beautiful. They've been together for years; they've been through so much; and it's wonderful to have that respected and portrayed canonically instead of dipping into that easy, fan-craved trope of dramatically heavy relationship angst. I'm glad they left that angst itch to be scratched by fanworks instead, because these ladies aren't that type.

They are powerful; they are determined; they balance and complete each other; and most importantly, they are so head-over-heels and experienced in their love for each other that it took one day for Charlie to deeply consider everything and fully reconcile with Vaggie, who never doubted her even for a second. Their relationship isn't just established; it's stable, and I love to see that for a wlw couple. <3

I’m just gonna say this, the main reason people don’t like Damian Wayne as a character is the same reason people didn’t like Jason Todd back in the 80s

People don’t like either of them because their favorite Robin (Tim Drake and Dick Grayson) got replaced by them.

Damian and Jason are both really interesting and complex character, objectively more complex than both Tim and Dick, but some people (cough, obnoxious Tim fans, cough, and Dick fans who over sexualize him, cough) don’t see that and just want their little blorbos to never grow into their own character apart from Batman.

Kataang is such a beautiful ship, and it’s because Aang teaches Katara how to be a kid!!! So many people want to put Katara in a sexy adult relationship with a boy older than her, but that’s not what she needs!! She’s 14 years old and emotionally stunted from the trauma of growing up in a war zone, she’s never had the chance to be a silly and immature child! She’s had to grow up too fast and play the part of the responsible mother figure in constantly stressful circumstances and that’s not good or healthy! And I don’t have any firsthand knowledge of this, but I’ve heard it said that brown girls are perceived to be much more mature than they are and are rarely treated like the age they are, and I have a strong suspicion that the fandom is treating Katara this way! Aang, on the other hand, is a sweet optimistic boy with a young soul and a playful nature! He coaxes Katara out of her circumstantially-imposed role of mother and caregiver and teaches her to let go of her fear and anger and just be a kid and it’s so beautiful!!! They have a cute, blushy, awkward, middle-school romance together and that’s what Katara deserves!!!!!

i enjoy how in the percy jackson fandom whenever the demigods are being drawn they are given outfits and accesories that play homage to their godly parent (e.g nico with ghouly tshirt motifs, percy with shell bracelets) when in canon these demigods are wearing an assortment of shirts and pants that they find at the bottom of a bargain bin at target, whatever that has not been destroyed in the recent war or camp shirt.

there are certain things i will not mention to any outsiders of Night Vale as they are. well. terrifying. but, a general lack of privacy is something you get used to. Night Vale is fundamentally anomalous in nature.
