Jack:

Jack is the perfect person to help you handle your autism! He remembers all the sensory things you hate the most, and which ones are the best stim for you. He keeps you out of upsetting situations as much as he can, and will listen to you infodump all you want. It makes him happy to see you happy, so he'll do everything he possibly can to accommodate your needs.

Ian:

Ian's a bit like a nervous animal. So when you get loud because you're upset, he sort of shuts down a bit. But he'll try to soothe you with things he knows you like and will let you vent all you need, even if it scares him. And afterwards he'll reassure you that you shouldn't have to change your emotional expression for his sake. He also loves to hear you infodump! It gives him an excuse to make heart eyes at you!

Shaun:

Shaun is the best listener. Whether you're upset or excited, he'll very happily sit and take in everything you're saying. He'll even ask questions when you seem too frazzled to know where to go with your chatting! He makes sure to take note of what things you do and don't like, what sounds and textures and tastes bother you and which ones make you happy. He's very sweet and supportive!

Nick:

He couldn't be happier to listen to you infodump. He finds himself forgetting to pay attention to what you're actually saying because he's too busy swooning over you, but that just means you get to explain everything to him again! He'll help you find satisfying and safe ways to get out your anger when you're upset. Generally he's pretty good at helping with emotional regulation.

Joseph:

Joseph is another one who'll happily sit and listen to you for hours. Loud voices can make him nervous, but he's pretty good at setting that aside to comfort you. He likes to ask you questions about things he knows you love so he can listen to you infodump. He also tends to take notice of the things you avoid, especially foods, so he can make sure not to accidentally offer you things you don't like.

Jean:

He's very observant. He takes note of everything you do and all of your reactions. Not necessarily for good reasons. Sure, he'll let you infodump at him while he zones out, but he's much more interested in finding out what things bother you. What situations he can put you in that'll upset you and have you running to him for comfort. What things to punish you with when you act up.

Rory:

Food is his jam, so he obviously puts a lot of effort into making sure to cook you safe foods. He'll figure out the patterns in what you do and don't like so he can recommend new foods you'll like. He'll happily listen to you infodump, and he's not bothered in the slightest when you get loud out of excitement or anger. He's go with the flow, so he's not bothered by any quirks of yours.

Barry:

Barry will keep an eye on you to figure out what things set you off. He loves to know what makes you tick so he can put you in upsetting situations and enjoy your reactions. The louder and more upset you get, the happier he is. He's not particularly interested in listening to you infodump, but he is interested in finding out what textures you hate so he can adjust the uniforms to be worse for you.

Bo:

This dog has autism. I mean, imo they all have autism, but Bo doesn't bother to mask in the slightest. So when you start to infodump, he just wags his tail and happily listens to you before infodumping about his own special interests. He's particular about all sorts of things, so he's not put off by how particular you are too. And when it comes to volume, his ears are sensitive, but he's also loud.

Slowly, I think I’m getting a handle on this…I tried studying the character art from my favorite dead MMORPG, Maple Story 2, and I think it helped me find a style for the shading and rendering that’s more dramatic but still sort of cartoony.

Plus, I’ve been doing a bit of script writing, which always helps me figure things out. ^^ So please enjoy the additional work I’ve done on these character concepts.

-Between these two, Magolor definitely needed the most work: you can tell because I basically drew a full character design sheet, which is something I almost never do because I don’t like repetition. XP But it doesn’t feel repetitive when I’m totally lost to begin with. ^^; I think I got a little too abstract that first time I drew him, so my focus here was to figure out the specific shape of his body and rebuild outward from there. In stark contrast to my usual Magolor designs, he’s very tall and muscular, with an imposing silhouette (especially with his cape on). Yes, he IS hiding something under all those purple bandages, but we won’t talk about it today. ;)

-I also like that his outfit gets darker the further inside you go, from the solid white cape and glittering chains, to the silver armor and gray scarves, to the skintight navy blue fit underneath. Symbolism??? Perhaps~

-Blade’s design was already pretty solid, so I just adjusted her cape a little, and then dove straight into the Rainbow Malady concept art. ^^ Phase 1 has her sprout a second eye and wings on one side of her face. Her head catches fire, as the power of the Rainbow Sword attempts to ‘burn away the darkness’. In this phase, Blade is already in a lot of pain, but remains fully conscious and can even speak, when she isn’t coughing up multicolored blood. She can recover from this on her own with a day of rest. Phase 2 is much more serious, forcing her organs outside of her body, and growing star-shaped welts over the rest of her skin. At this point, she can no longer recover without Magolor’s help-- essentially, he uses magic to shove all her organs back where they belong and stitch up the open wounds. It’s like setting a bone after it’s broken-- just as painful as the injury itself (if not more), but necessary for proper healing…which takes about a week. Phase 3 is the last and worst, transforming her arms into elongated wings and her whole body into burning plasma, on top of all the issues from Phase 2. Thankfully, she can’t really remain conscious in this phase-- she’s usually delirious from fever, blood loss, and her brain literally burning away. ^^; Storywise, she needs about a month to recover from this, so she doesn’t use it too often…of course, as the 'player', you can put her through it as many times as you want. =T

-Fun fact, I guess: So the primary love language between these two characters is food. ^^ I was musing about what I could do with a protagonist arc centered around worsening illness (which is…surprisingly rare), and I thought, “so what do you do for sick people? You put them to bed, you manage their symptoms, you clean and comfort them…and most importantly, you feed them.” And then ^that little doodle basically came to me in a dream, and from there evolved the idea of Magolor showing kindness to Blade by cooking for her.

Most of the time, the little affection Magolor shows to Blade is…basically performative. Think of it like a hammy supervillain petting their cat-- it’s more of a character stim than anything else. ^^; The way Magolor talks to Blade (and especially the way he talks about her…) makes it clear that the hand-holding and headpats don’t mean much.

But on the other hand, giving Blade food and watching her cutely devour it, especially during the times when she’s bed-ridden and he doesn’t see her as often…I like to think that might genuinely endear her to him a little, enough to make it a sort of stand-out gesture. Like, if he strokes her forehead when she’s sick, that’s whatever; but when he spends 5 hours making a Maxim tomato consommé for her to eat, that’s him trying to say he cares. Maybe it’s just a tiny bit, maybe it’s just in that moment, but a small part of him truly wants her to be happy.

Of course!! I meant to publish a request yesterday!! But forgot due to college life!! So, this is an I'm back post!! By the way, I will be publishing one request a week! This is kind of how I dress, love wearing dresses, wearing makeup, and doing my hair! Come ride the fluff choo choo train!! Also thank you so much for your compliment on my writing!! LEONARDO

Leonardo knew you loved dressing up, wearing makeup, and doing your hair, unlike April who was more of a tomboy, and had more of a sporty aesthetic, you had more of a cottage core mixed with a vintage aesthetic, wearing dresses rather than pants as it gets hot rather quickly.

You typically bought a dress once a week, so he often tagged along for the adventure, due to him wanting to tag along so often, you went shopping in the hidden city to look for either new accessories, clothing, or makeup that is friendly towards human skin.

So, when you found the perfect dress to wear to your date that was happening tomorrow, Leonardo was not there, and it was perfect since you wanted it to be a surprise, it was white with blue flowers and birds (I actually have a dress exactly like it), it was gorgeous. So, you bought it.

Leonardo stared, as you showed off your new dress, it complimented the curves you had, and despite wearing a tank top underneath it (since you don't like showing your boobs, believe me, I don't either lmao), he kept staring during the entirety of the date.

DONATELLO

Unlike Leonardo, Donnie hated shopping, it was exhausting, and quite overstimulating sometimes with the loud noises, so he often stayed home, and you would text pictures of what you got; he did shop with you every now and then when you were shopping during the quieter hours of the day.

He also knew how much effort you took into getting ready for the day, you would spend a good two hours just getting ready, which included doing your hair, makeup, and getting dressed. It gave you time to wake up and get used to the business of the family day, you visited every Friday and often spent the night.

It was also that day when you wanted to find a dress for your one-year anniversary with Donnie that thankfully he couldn't shop with you, it was a lavender dress that didn't show too much and didn't have that elastic waistband that you detested, it was a sensory thing.

Donnie had heard from you that you felt like you were being squeezed with that waistband. You were so stoked to find the dress, Donnie would be impressed finding that lovely lavender dress. He started to stim happily when he saw you in that dress, he knew that dress needed to be worn every anniversary date, so it hung ever so happily in your closet.

MICHELANGELO

Mikey, like Leonardo, loved shopping with you, he was sort of your personal stylist, and little bodyguard when men would start flirting with you, so it's like a package deal when it came to those sorts of things.

He knew how much you took getting ready seriously, you would always get dressed and would always do your hair and makeup after eating, cooking, or baking with Mikey, these dresses were often gifts from your grandmother and mother that were passed down each generation. So thankfully you were pretty girly.

So, the day that it was pizza night, Mikey didn't come with you, you wanted the dress to be a surprise for him, because you nearly had every color in your wardrobe, except for orange, which not only frustrated you but also him.

So you were pretty excited to find the dress that was sunset orange, every other dress was colored like that bright fluorescent, highlighter orange dress, you nearly ran Donnie over, racing over to Mikey, yanking out that sunset colored dress, "Hey Mikey!! I finally found it!!" You had said, both pumping your fists in the air.

RAPHAEL

Raphael was... the rough houser, ambushing his siblings basically everywhere, but made sure not to hurt you or his younger brothers, especially when you were all dressed up, he didn't want to face that smite again when he got mud all over you and your dress, it took you and Donnie nearly four hours to get all the mud out. That's almost as long as you take getting ready for the day. You wake up at like 5 am so you're all dolled up!

He never came with you to shop for new clothes, makeup, or accessories for your hair or jewelry, so he was surprised to see them tried on when you got home. He was always nervous about breaking something, which I don't blame him, the first attempt at shopping with you, he was like a bull in a China shop.

So you shopped with April, who liked shopping with you, she got a dress every now and then but preferred wearing jeans and a T-shirt, but today was pretty special, it was your birthday date with him, so you needed to find a red dress, but every single one looked like that red homecoming dress from freshman year.

So when you found that gorgeous wine-red dress, you showed off your prize so proudly, Raph was often the quiet cheerer, but on the inside, he was stoked that you finally found a red dress that you can wear every now and then for special days.

mc convinced him to start a business on the side bc they could tell how much he loved doing their hair

beel loves kids and they love him, he's a jungle gym

levi used to (and still does) go mute when he's overwhelmed, luci and mammon taught themselves sign language in case they need to communicate with him

luci was ridiculously overprotective of the brothers when they fell, but the longer they stayed in the devildom, it was less obvious bc his pride didn't allow him to show those emotions outright

asmo can change his genitalia at will depending on his partner's needs/desires

all the brothers are some sort of neurodivergent, and so is (my) mc

this is kinda canon but all of them are queer and luci is the only cis one out of all the brothers

mc helped them become more comfortable with stimming both in the main tl and in nb bc they do it a lot themself

mams, barbatos, and luci are the best to go to when your anxiety gets bad bc they all have it and know how to handle it best/take your mind off of it

idk if this is canon or not but luci advocated for a hybrid-like rad so levi would be able to take some of his classes virtual when his anxiety gets too bad

mc has touched everyone's tails/wings out of pure curiosity once everyone was comfortable enough around them

mams always carries around crow food and birds are almost always following him around bc of it

luci and dia fucked before the fall.

mc started singing wade in the water whenever luci made them do shit and now mams does it too

mc rarely left their room after the lesson 16 incident and everyone but belphie checked up on them

lucifer forbade him from going anywhere near them but he still tried to at least see if they were ok

lucifer is *almost* physically incapable of apologizing bc of his sin

mams rarely uses his powers to their fullest extent, he did it once not too long after they fell and vowed to never do it again out of fear of hurting the people he cared about

satan's powers are equally fueled by wrath and grief

satan was with lucifer from his creation, god didn't wanna make both of them bc he knew satan would be the catalyst for a war

asmo and solomon almost dated but asmo pushed himself away bc he's scared of committment

levi had to physically hold mammon back from *seriously* hurting belphie after the lesson 16 incident

solomon is lilith's son

solomon is actually a decent cook when he doesnt try to experiment...but he always tries to experiment

magic can't even fix whatever he makes when he cooks

simeon can't see for shit but never wears his glasses

beel had and still has a lot of body image issues, his gluttony worsened them and he works out nonstop to cope

belphie listens to white noise on the rare occasion of him not being able to sleep

simeon would've fallen with luci if he found out what was happening and had more time to think, part of the reason why he was so ok with being demoted

dia wanted to be the closest to belphie when they first fell bc of their shared interest in humans and was hurt when belphie was standoffish

luke will be one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, angels in history

i feel like he was a human and he died when he was really young and became an angel after

mephisto is a kpop stan and ults stayc

he compensates for his low self esteem and jealousy of luci and dia's friendship with the newspaper position

he also has a crush on both of them but wont admit it to himself

raph scolded the brothers so much bc they were his favorites, he didn't want them getting caught by god

felt guilty for letting the brothers fall alone, but not nearly as guilty as simeon

thirteen is a lesbian and i love her and we're married <333333

she hates solomon bc he was one of her assignments and she failed bc he's immortal

familial issues bc of the failure, she's the baby of the family but was still outcast

mc taught mams how to play spades and he's terrible at it

What I think disability aids made by Borderlands gun manufacturers would be like. CW for mentions of systemic ableism and weight loss.

Atlas: Sleek and fancy, but also expensive as hell and prone to accidents. Sort of like IRL fancy prostheses or wheelchairs - they seem cool but are actually kinda sucky and very pricey. Don't expect the average Promethean to afford one. Though in this case, it's because they're often loaded with purely experimental tech that was probably shipped too early.

Hyperion: They make a few prosthetic and implant models and that's it. Pretty much all their stuff is aimed at their own employees trying to get "ahead" and not actual disabled people, so give up trying to find one fitting your particular needs. At least they're pretty fucking sturdy (but not against hacking). And no, they haven't thought of adopting those exoskeletons their engineers use for other needs.

Maliwan: Similar to above, but aimed at their general customer base instead. These guys are hipsters who try marrying form and function, and in many cases that means augs of some sort. I wouldn't really call them transhumanist though, that implies respecting bodily autonomy, human rights and not being ableist; these guys would sell arms with tracking chips and neural interfaces that fry your brainstem if you don't pay the subscription fee. And then tell you to lose weight with the new fad diet their marketing department cooked up. The hoverchairs and flavored chewelry are pretty great, tho.

Dahl: They wouldn't. They claim to be reliable but they're actually the biggest cowards in the Six Galaxies. If one of their soldiers loses a leg or something that's grounds for being (dis)honorably discharged. What exoskeletons or other devices they make are purely for war. Plus, the one Dahl employee we see having a prosthesis (Helena Pierce) doesn't seem to have a Dahl brand one. Aside from weird metal rank implants and funky gun-inspired fidget cubes they don't do much in this department.

Torgue: Expect everything to be painted like a Hot Wheels toy and probably explode somehow - either on you or on your enemies. All the mobility aids have jets attached for either smacking ableists with great force or speeding through town. I think Torgue himself wears a hearing aid (from all the explosions) and it looks like a fucking microphone with car parts on it, complete with exhaust.

Jakobs: Steampunk baybeee!!! Of course, the subgenre of said steampunk depends on the quality of the aid. The most basic ones are IRL Victorian era metal arms: flat, spiky, inhuman, but still quite ornate. The ones custom-tooled for execs and their families (looking at you, Alistair Hammerlock) are more "sleek" steampunk, with fine chassis of signature Jakobs brass and filigree engravings. They also make genuine wood canes with organic rubber grips that will outlive you if you take proper care of them... which is definitely shown in their price tags. The Jakobs stim toy line is half weird gear contraptions, half competition with Dahl's fidget cubes.

Vladof: Heavy, clunky, dieselpunk style. But damn if they aren't effective. A standard Vladof boostchair could break through a wall and be completely unharmed. A Vladof AAC device looks like an electron tube supercomputer that you have to haul around in a cart. That's all I really have to say here.

Tediore: I have no idea.

I'm without internet but fuck it, TWSTumblr hear me out on this one.

I see a lot of people Hc Jade as autistic and Floyd with ADHD and although both r amazing Hcs, I can't help but remember just how entangled with genetics those are.

So... AuDHD TWEELS

First reasoning for this is that those r really entangled with genetics, and since the twins are identical twins that meant that they were a single embryo that sit up into 2 people (per human logic, not considering how merfolk might work in this specific case).

Second: Although Jade fits into a lot of autistic traits and Floyd ADHD ones, some autistic and ADHD traits overlap each other in certain areas. And it is quite tricky to nail down which one one has, specially considering that only on recent studies and research did people actually understood that 1 person can have both.

Jade AND Floyd both show high, long lasting interest in specific topics. Jade's being Mountains and Mushrooms, while Floyd is fashion, more focused on the shoes aspect, and seemingly cooking. I don't think it is a stretch to say how he enjoys cooking, since it it almost feels second nature how much he knows about it and can deduct or do with that skill with ease. (We can see how good he is at deducting what to do food wise on his Culinary Crucible vignettes).

Both shows deep emotional knowledge but a sort of disconnection to their own emotions, something that I as an Autistic person can say 100% fits the criteria. Jade is very good at reading others emotions, but can be noted as detached when it comes to showing this to others, which he clearly uses to his advantage to seem polite and as approachable as he can be. Floyd on the other hand, is very in tune with others emotions (tho most times he doesn't put them into consideration), and is relatively good at expressing his owns although in a very intense way, but he lacks the self control and self preservation skills, noted by his rather bluntness when saying what he wants and also how he doesn't hold back from dropping whatever he doesn't want to anymore in a blink of an eye.

Jade is particularly noted to eat a lot, and as much as people do the canibal Jade theory, that can be just a form of anxiety reducing mechanism, much like stimming. More common in the ADHD aspect in my experience, some people may need multiple sensory inputs to keep themselves grounded in during a taxing day or task. For Floyd, since he does seem to have a deep interest in cooking, at least more than Jade in my view, his relationship with it is very much involving expanding his horizons. He doesn't seem to have a particular problem with texture, flavours, appearance or smell, but he does have a problem with things being too much of the same, and so repeating dishes a lot of doing something straight out the recipe feels taxing and boring. His way of dealing with food is by making something different to keep even the same ever dish interesting. (Again for proof of this, his Culinary Crucible vignettes are a great way of understanding this side of his.)

I can go on more and more, but I don't want to use all my data for a singular post.

- i think he's a bit more strict as a cg, more sound boundaries and rules. just because he doesn't want you hurt, he cares about you and puts your safety and well-being first.

- things like candy/sugar limits, how far you go when you play outside, bedtimes/routines, no swearing, etc. small things but, more yk?

- he tries his hardest to not laugh when you do swear when regressed because, come on, it's funny!

- you're all puffy, getting mad because he said no ice cream for breakfast (when really you're just tired) and so you tell him 'f you!' and he just smiles.

- it sounds so silly with your baby voice, but he just smiles and tries to calm you down.

- I'm not very familiar with lycans or how it works so I won't touch on that too much bUT he does like to chase you around playfully in his human form and tell you how the big bad dada wolf is gonna get you! you're just giggling and squealing and running from him, but end up getting picked up and spun around by him!

- cuddles you into his chest and likes to curl around you and rub your back n stuff!

- he's very soft with you and he's very observant, he knows what you need before you do, often times.

- offers his hair for you to play with, like he'll lean his head down for you to play with his curls.

- any sort of stim like that helps you when you're fussy or having a meltdown

- so he'll offer his hair, or his hands or a stuffie for you to play with

- it's almost like a reminder that he's real and there and youre okay, y'know?

- likes calling you baby wolf and little one mostly but uses a lot of petnames!

- he's a good cook so he makes all the meals, and he's good at it too.

- cuts your food into bites though, he doesn't want you to choke!

- plays with you in the floor for hours on end

- most of the time he cleans up while you're napping but sometimes he'll have you help.

- he wants you to be as stress free so he'll just do it for you, he enjoys doing it though!

- like he'll just put on an old record and go around and clean up the house while you're napping in your room.

- wakes you up from naps with soft coos and sweet forehead kisses!

- likes giving you his sweaters/shirts to sleep in bc they're comfy but you like how they smell like him!

Everything Under Control, Growing into Autistic Young Adulthood

I’m turning 20 this year, I live at home. I’m working through community college and planning to transfer to a four-year school.

It’s set quite clearly what my pathway is: get good grades, transfer, live at home until I graduate college.

Then, I can start to branch out into proper independence, maybe live on my own, or sort out living with my partner, something of the sort. It’ll be my decision.

I’m passive in discussing it all. In the loving words of my girlfriend, I don’t seem “too jazzed about it.”

And they’re right.

I’m passive for a reason, I’m letting it go on by me because what I want doesn’t make much sense, at least to my parents.

In a completely ideal world, I would work a library job and be able to write on the side, maybe free-lance or journaling, I haven’t decided.

But I can’t tell a person I’m an English major without the dreaded, “Oh, so you want to be a teacher!” talk (I’m not discrediting teachers, we need them! It’s just… always the first thing people think when anyone says they’re pursuing English, and my parents don’t help with that, necessarily).

I’m held back in redundant ways because I’m on the spectrum. I wasn’t trusted to cook until recently, just as one example. Recently. I’m going to be 20 this year.

I’m second guessed constantly, even about things I know as facts. My own interests are a big one, anything I say about my own special interests, my parents have my sister fact-check. You wouldn’t fact check a mechanic about cars, would you? Why are you fact checking my knowledge? (The ironic thing is that outside of my family, I’m completely respected in my knowledge. My good friend @turniptitaness jokingly calls me the Ambassador for The Politician, and while that title is said in a joking manner, I’m at least not second guessed in a thing I’m known for knowing a lot about. That’s only one example.)

I have to walk this line, too, this line between “too autistic” and “not autistic enough.” Which is hard, because I’m autistic no matter what. I’ve learned quickly that stimming or infodumping are frowned upon in my home, so I don’t do them. But that bites me in the ass because then I’m “barely autistic,” whatever that means. There’s a redundant measurement of my autism that’s been put on to me.

By other people. I don’t even get a say in my own autism advocacy or my own autistic joy, because in my house, autistic joy rarely exists. It’s only ever brought up as a negative. “Morgan struggles in school, she’s autistic.”

The writing achievements I’ve gained throughout school, for example, even when being about special interests, have nothing to do with autism. But they do, inherently. Writing an analytical paper about a special interest, recalling scenes from memory, was due to my intense passion.

It’s a terrible line to walk. I have to take pride in not having accommodations because it helps me to “blend in” more.

No one has considered whether I really care about blending in, appearing “normal.”

To a degree, of course I do. Of course I want to present myself in a respectful way.

But I, me, Morgan in my own mind, do not care if I get weird looks from people if I stim.

I don’t care if I “look autistic.” I am autistic. There is no look.

In myself, I’m proud of talking about it. I don’t want to hide it.

And I’m not going to lie, I have moments of sensory overload, sometimes bad sensory days in total. Where I wake up and can feel so viscerally uncomfortable in my own skin that I don’t want to get out of bed and become overwhelmed by the smallest of things.

But I can’t express that, either. When my disability, is disabling, I can’t talk about it.

Walk that fine line.

Everything under control.

A lot of it out of my control.

When it’s my life at the end of the day.

a/n: look, i know there is a small minority of us in the jjk fandom that believes nanami kento is autistic, so this post won't appeal to the masses. if you don't like this, nor agree with it, that's fine (that's why fanon and au's are cool). just don't be a dickhead and leave mean comments. also, this was co-written by my beloved sibling @lesbian-choso. go check out his blog; they make lovely traditional art.

Flat affect — no explanation needed.

Stims: jiggling his watch, cracking his knuckles and other joints, pacing around.

This man cannot stand loud noises, though controlled loud sounds, like listening to his screamo playlist, is totally fine.

I firmly believe he sleeps like a dead person at an open-casket funeral. His bed sheet is in a straight line across his chest, with his arms lying flat on either side of his torso — Back Sleeper™️. Best believe he can't sleep unless his room is 18°C, with his bedsheets and duvet even on each side of the bed, and a fresh bottle of water on his bedside table (in case he wakes up and feels parched).

Whilst he isn't a fan of journals and diaries, Kento makes sure to regularly update his calendar on his phone, as well as the one attached to Outlook.

Spreadsheets and to-do lists, he thrives off of these. How else is he to keep up with life?

He is very aware of the fabrics and textures that make contact with his skin. This is why his wardrobe is predominantly made up of soft materials like cotton and cashmere. If he has to wear anything woollen, a lightweight layer of clothing goes underneath; he can't stand the itchiness.

Kento doesn't like mixing cold and warm food, and he tries his best to keep the food on his plate from touching each other (this doesn't apply to food like fried rice).

He irons his bedsheets and underwear — don’t ask. Kento also regularly washes his curtains and steams them once they’re dry (no creases, he hates them).

Exclusively purchases one type of deodorant; it has something to do with the smell and texture. He can’t stand aerosols because of the intensity of their smell (it gets into the back of his throat), and the gel deodorants feel uncomfortable on his underarms. Kento also isn’t a fan of perfume, though, there was one he liked that he stocked up on. Sadly, he hasn’t been able to find anything similar.

“Don’t come in the kitchen whilst I'm cooking.” — Kento to Satoru when he senses him about to step in. He can't share the space, it becomes claustrophobic.

Baking is his special interest; he has an absurd amount of information about this art form stored in his noggin. Dare I say he would own a bread encyclopaedia if it existed. Whilst bread is his favourite form of baked good, from time to time, he attempts to make confectionary, specifically those made of phyllo pastry. On the rare occasion, he might bake a pie or cake.

This man owns a lint roller because of his pet cats; he is not a first-time cat owner. Whilst his home is relatively clean, he can't help but feel the need to pick up those stray cat hairs. He doesn't want to accidentally get any in his mouth.

Speaking of his home, Kento's apartment is relatively minimalist, though the colour palette is warm and welcoming (lots of blues and browns). The only part of his home that is “messy” is one nook in his living room. The bookcase is overflowing with unread books, some sitting in neat stacks on the floor, whilst others are in cardboard boxes acting as surfaces for his potted plants. There are a few old newspapers and magazine recipes strewn on his desk, a cold cup of coffee, and two pen holders jam-packed with various dry markers and inkless pens. It's a sort of organised chaos.

He exclusively wears slippers and thongs/flip-flops indoors. He can’t stand walking around barefoot, it’s uncomfortable, and he doesn’t like his feet being cold or picking up any hair, lint, or crumbs that collect on the floor (despite his home being borderline sterile).

Sweet Tooth Character Questions (part 1)

On the discord server we have a lot of people ask for scenarios on how the Sweet Tooth cast would react if (insert thing) So i've decided to share some of those questions with you all! Of course if you're interested in joining us, the link is on the pinned message, or here

Questions and Answers under the cut!

"Sweet tooth cast bad habits?"

Andre has a lead foot, drives too fast and too recklessly. He also rarely sleeps and mixes coffee with energy drinks.

Casey chews his lips sometimes or even his hair when he gets nervous. Recently Kieran bought him one of those chew stim toys though.

Chrys yanks her collar when she gets nervous, stretched out a few shirts from that.

David bounces his leg when he's particularly anxious. He also puts the worst things he can find in his coffee, anything to keep him awake, he cant sleep, shouldn't sleep, he wont allow it. He also smokes and has a drinking problem,,,

Eddie, like his father (Brook), chews his nails or picks at scabs. His posture could use some work too. Phelo (another one of his dads) claims he swears too much but he thinks "Phelo is a fuckin pussy for not swearin so much" so who knows.

Kieran smokes typically when he's stressed... which is quite often. In the past he used to tug on his hair a lot, now a days you'll see him run his hand through his hair. This usually shows he's going through some bad shit.

Noble is amongst our smokers, only smoking more products than the other three. Anything that could get him high enough to not feel it going in him, no matter how. Kleptomania is another habit he needs to kick. Someday.

Zach is the last of our smokers, probably smokes more than Kieran, but not as much as Noble. Most of his other bad habits include fidgeting, lying, and saying 'yes' to everything

"How do the Sweet Tooth cast go about winning over their crush?"

Andre is big on cooking so obviously he's going to try and win them over by showing off how much he can feed them. Based on how much they can feed him then that means he can support them financially so therefore he should be the best choice right? Also food. Its mostly just cause he likes cooking for people.

Casey is going to gift them all sorts of sweets and take them to his favorite places. If they dont have a Sweet Tooth then he makes sure to take them to restaurants that they might enjoy. He wants to have all sorts of experiences with his crush, good or bad. He just wants to be near them.

Chrys is a big foodie herself, similar to Andre, she'll try to impress them with food. Of course, she's not as shy as Andre so she will flirt as much as she can within her crush's comfort level of course. Whatever her crush's interests are she's researched just so she can understand what they're talking about and how to respond accordingly.

David being quite tsundere tends to insult his crush a lot... but in order to impress them he tries to show off how much power he has- not realizing that maybe showing his softer sides like how he cares for his bunnies might be the ticket.

Eddie might try to take them on nature walks or show off his knowledge of the forest or The Intrepid. Maybe he tries to impress them with his survival skills so they feel safe with him.

Kieran is going to show off not only his talents but his body. Typically dressing in particular ways that his crush might find attractive along with being closer to them. He'll flirt and be quite forward with what he wants, thinking that if he appeals to their lust rather than romantic interests that that is the ticket. Hes learning.

Noble bakes as much as he can for his crush, spoiling them whenever he can. He takes photos of them, showing them how beautiful they are and making sure that they know it. If his crush is more on the wild side he would he more willing to do risky feats... and in general...? Well lets say his competition has been thinning out.

Zach typically tries to show off with his art, drawing their favorite characters or animals. He might show off his knowledge with astrology and astronomy, comparing his crush to some of his favorite ancient stories. Constellations were made to help with navigation, and whenever his crush is around he cant help but think of them as the north star or his own personal constellation, knowing he never feels lost with them.

"What does jealousy look like in the cast?"

Andre isnt one to get jealous very easily. He trusts his partner wholeheartedly... but he doesnt trust other people... some people he's okay with them being around, for example he wont get weirded out of Chrys is joke flirting or teasing his partner as he knows that she tends to do that with most people. Now Kieran...? Ohh... oh he better stay away. Especially Noble too.

Casey is a bit insecure about himself. He's shocked that his partner even wanted to go out with him! Him! Of all people! There were better choices out there but they picked him... hems so flattered and touched but... what if they move on...? He simply watches it happen. If his partner pulls away from the person flirting with them, he sighs relieved. But if they flirt back..? Even if its in a way that is meant to trick the other person, well... he cant help but feel a bit upset. Casey is also the type to not stand up for himself but god be damned he will fight for his partner though. If someone touches them, well Kieran sure taught him where and how to punch.

Chrys will get handsy and lean on her partner, try to fluster them and remind them who they belong to and that she belongs to them. This is only of course if she sees someone persistently going after her partner, or if someone she doesnt trust has started talking to her partner. Your lap is now her throne. Good luck~!

David is a gossip king. He'll spread rumors about the person in question who dared to talk to his partner like that... He's hesitant with his partner speaking to Eddie, but he does trust them with Andre, Casey, Chrys, and surprisingly Zach. Anyone else is a definite no. He's probably maybe just a biiit... overprotective and possessive over his partner. Call him crazy all you want but you are his.

Eddie will cause arguments with the person who decided to talk to you like that, how dare they?! Right in front of him too! They dont even to deserve to look at you like that! If it escalates any further well... Eddie is coming home with a couple or several bruises. He's proud regardless, asking for your praise cause he fought for you and not realizing he fought OVER you.

Kieran might try to intimidate or 'seduce' whoever is talking to his partner, trying to take them away from him. He'll make them feel as little as he can and crush their heart with his words. If that doesnt work, well, a little bit of boxing never hurt anyone right?

Noble will be as 'gentle' as he can be. Playing up a sickeningly sweet smile as he takes your hand, pulling you away from whoever you were talking to. If they dont seem to be too much of a threat then he might allow you to talk to them. But if they appear like someone who could ruin what he worked so hard to get? He's going to make sure they dont see you anymore, or another day to be more precise...

Zach was always sure that the people in his life would leave him. Use him up and move on. People are mosquitos, parasites. They always have been. But you... you built him up... you helped him grow... he cant watch as someone tries to take you away... it taking everything in him to be improper and handle the situation immaturely. He talks to you, voicing his insecurity and apologizing for his feelings. But if whoever is talking to you persists, he might not be able to hold onto the little patience he has left and throw a few punches. He doesn't seem like the fighting type but he hits hard

Charlie thoughts I have that aren’t big enough for their own post!

His favorite food is eggs! Any way they’re cooked is his favorite! He likes to hold them, paint them, and look at them! (He can’t make them himself but Ernest can)

His favorite animal is a cow! He likes western movies and books and he likes to look at pictures of cows and cowboys. He really wants to meet a real cow one day 🐮

When he gets nervous he wrings his hands! Sometimes he pulls stitches in his hands from all of the wringing and needs to be repaired…

He’s very round as well! He likes that he is so roly poly! When he needs to, he can be a cushion for someone more delicate 🛌

They like to help people too! Even if someone is rude or mean to him, he’ll want to help them. Phoebe for example doesn’t like how silly and worrisome he is, but he still guides her and reads for her when she needs it

He can read! Not very well, but just about as much as his owner can! He likes books with lots of pictures in them! He likes to read with Ernest, since he’s a great reader and doesn’t mind helping with harder words

He can count up to 29 (it’s hard without fingers…)

They can eat as well! In a round about way I guess! He doesn’t need to but he likes to put his face to food and “eat it” in little tiny bites. His mouth doesn’t move or open when he does this, the little bites just get all over his little face

His hair is very soft! His hat can come off and he has a nice mop of hair! He has to brush it semi-often since he gets tossed about sometimes

His favorite music is ones with horns and drums in it! He likes listening to folk and orchestra since they’re so… soundy!

He’s afraid of confrontation! He would rather hide than have someone be angry with him

Charlie likes to dance, but he isn’t very good at it! He is good at tricks and flopping around, but dancing is a no

He likes to stim by pacing and squealing when he’s excited! Lots of things can excite him, so this sort of thing happens a lot!

Atticus-

Libra; born September 30th 1885

Full name is Atticus James Finch

Autistic (i could make an entire post about this)

bisexual

gives great hugs

Writes calligraphy! all of the kids birthday cards and other cards are handwritten from him

Has attempted to cook, but almost burnt the house down so Cal doesn't allow him in the kitchen anymore. for being as smart as he is, he is awful in the kitchen

Is very in control of his emotions, but when he does get emotional, his emotions are very big

he copes with negative emotions by reading or listening to the radio

He usually only listens to the news on the radio, but sometimes he enjoys listening to music

really likes swing music

Cracks his knuckles a lot

Not very religious, goes to church every sunday but as he got older began to question religion more. When he was younger he was very religious because his family was religious

Always had plans to get a dog with his wife, but because of having two kids and then Miss Grahams death, it never happened. He still thinks about getting a dog after both of the kids are out of the house

Wakes up at 5 am everyday without fail, then spends the first few hours of his morning reading before he gets ready for the day

Scout-

Aries; born April 12th 1927

Autistic

If she knew what being trans was, would identify as transmasc

but considering she lives in Alabama in the 1930s, she likely has never and will never hear the term transgender or know its meaning

Accident prone- often comes to Cal with little cuts and scrapes. Cal always tells her to be more careful but takes care of her injuries no matter what

Keeps a journal, though she didn't take it very seriously until she was a teen and then would make sure she journals daily

Hates Halloween after the incident. the year after the incident she stays inside for the entire evening of Halloween and snuggles with Atticus

Very artsy. Loves writing and drawing and fills her journal with little doodles relating to her day

Jem-

Taurus; born May 14th, 1923

Almost always angry about something

Just an angry little guy

Needs glasses but doesn't get them until he's around 18

Absolutely adores Scout, more than he will ever admit, but he'd do anything for her (usually. they still bicker a lot)

After Halloween, the first thing he said when he woke up in the morning was "is Scout okay?"

Jem used to love Halloween, but is cautious of it after the incident. it takes him a few years to enjoy the holiday again

Takes after Atticus in his love for reading. as he gets older, Atticus lets him barrow books with increasingly mature themes and they'd bond by discussing them

Ends up playing football in highschool but gets injured. he plays all throughout highschool despite his injury, but once he's in college he stops playing and decides he prefers watching the sport instead

Keeps the things him and Scout found in the knothole for his entire life

Maudie-

Gemini; June 19th, 1891

Lesbian

No one knows except for Atticus and her late husband

Her husband was a gay man and they married mainly for protection

despite not loving each other romantically, they were incredibly close friends and Maudie mourned the loss of him for a long time

She sees Scout and Jem and even Dill as children

She was friends with Nathan Radley when they were younger, but once Nathan moved to Pensacola they lost contact, and even when he returned they just never reconnected

Boo/Arthur-

Virgo; September 12th, 1897

Autistic

Always stimming in some way, most common stim in scrunching up his face or full body twitches

Scrapbooks and uses his scrapbook as a journal of sorts

Not very close with Nathan and often avoids him as well as he can, considering they're both in the house pretty often

Funny enough, Boo was a nickname arthur was given as a teen by his friends

He was never really a bad kid. He was just an autistic kid who struggled to make connections and when he met his friend group, they'd goad him into stupid things and he'd do them because he'd never had friends like that before

The incident where he stabbed his father did happen, but he did it not out of nowhere, but because Mr Radley was drunk and acting aggressive and it scared and frustrated Arthur so he stabbed him

Oh my god. Where do I beginnn. Opening up the little notes app doc I keep them on

Bulleted list obviously

Keito is autistic, Kuro has ADHD and Souma is the AuDHD poster child

Kuro has a bag that he carries around with him full of safe snacks and noise canceling headphones and fidget toys for all of them when things get bad in the sensory department

Keito and Souma go on morning jogs together. Kuro wants to join them but he sleeps in.

This one is technically canon but. Sleepovers at Keito's house. Souma and Keito drag Kuro out of the futon by his ankles at 6 am

Kuro has a super warm body, and Keito has the heat retention of reptile. He's almost cold blooded. When it's cold, Souma and Keito will stand closer to Kuro/huddle near him to use him as a heater. They do it unconsciously, and though Kuro notices, he doesn't say anything because he thinks it's cute :)

Kuro's sister thinks Keito is boring and lame.

In order to get Souma to check his phone more often, Keito has gotten him a virtual pet app. Souma's virtual pet is very well maintained. Kuro's is dead.

Because Kuro usually helps Keito into outfits, Keito sometimes just stands around pre-interviews/shows, expecting someone to put his coat on for him before he realizes Kuro isn't there and does it himself.

Kuro believes in the philosphy of Anything can be fixed with a good smack. He did this with the TV in the common room, and now there's a big black blotch in the corner from where he "gave it a good one"

Kuro often chews the backs of his pencils and straws, so Keito bought him a chewy pendant and pencil attachment. He worries about how much lead Kuro has consumed.

Souma shakes his head and hands to stim. He keeps slapping people with his ponytail, though.

Keito just needs to do things with his fingers to let the happy energy out, either adjusting his glasses, hair, gesturing, or stretching them.

When Keito is on his own and reading a good book or manga, he'll kick/bounce his legs to stim.

Kuro has sleep fought Souma (who was also asleep) Keito, who was in the sleeping bag to the left of them, felt mortal fear.

Keito's dorm with Hajime and Hokuto Reeks of Lavender and Sandalwood. Hokuto would Like to say something about it, but it actually isn't so bad.

Kuro listens to Doja Cat. He thinks it's neat. He doesn't understand the lyrics very well.

Keito has Banned Doja Cat from the office Playlist. He cannot Get into It (Yuh!). 'It' being his paperwork.

Souma will never know what a Doja Cat is. He thinks Kuro must be hiding some sort of feline in the dojo.

Keito is very good at baking, because he's good at measuring things and following instructions

Kuro usually goes with his gut when it comes to cooking and it tastes great.

Souma has excellent memory and recreates Niki's dishes almost perfectly.

Kuro does his sister's hair and practices new styles on Souma. Sometimes, he'll put clips and things in Keito's hair when he's asleep or intensely focused.

Kuro snores extremely loudly. It's horrible. Dad snores.

Keito will often fall asleep immediately after a performance and Kuro has to resist the urge to pinch his cheeks/draw stuff on his face. He has failed to resist on more than one occasion.

There occasions on which Souma regrets telling Kuro and Keito to include him when discussing things, because this has now extended to the pettiest of arguments. "Kanzaki, tell Kiryu that he needs to put the dishes in the sink as soon as he's done" "it's not that big a deal, danna. Right Kanzaki?"

Akatsuki photocards and promotional materials aren't selfies, but rather pictures that they took of eachother.

Kuro and Keito walk around ES with eachother non-stop. When Keito is in the office, Kuro drops and him off and picks him up.

Kuro tries very hard to get Souma in on his dad joke sense of humor. It has only partially worked.

TMNT Headcanon time (2012) ☺️

Parts might or might not be projection lol.

Mikey: Autistic and ADHD. Stims constantly. Always moving. Rocking, flapping, wiggling his fingers and toes, chewing on things, food. Hoards thing he loves and nests. Trans, genderqueer trans boy, (oriented?) aroace, complicated relationship with gender and orientation. Part time mobility aid user (I have seen this boy hit so many walls and I'm only ten episodes in. He has to have chronic pain 😅 also what kind of effects could the mutagen have? Getting turned from a turtle to a turtle person has to have lasting effects lol. He sometimes uses his forearm crutches on patrol and always wears afos but his other mobility aids are mostly for at home use. CVI (this is projection but I am blind and i'm rubbing my grubby disabled paws all over this character lol. And I always see blind Leo. So my headcanon is blind Mikey. Because mutagen). He has trouble with his brain processing what he is looking at. He has trouble with depth perception, identifying objects (especially unfamiliar ones), takes him time to id objects, clumsy because his lower visual field isn't great, trips over things on the floor and runs into walls because he can't see them, but he's really good at compensating for it so sometimes he even forgets he's blind. Uses a white cane sometimes, mostly in new places (it's a super cool folding one Donnie made him in his favorite colors). Mikey loves bright colors because they are easier for him to see. (he's not totally blind. And his vision fluctuates depending on a number of factors).

Apraxic. Situationally mute. Mostly nonverbal, makes a lot of noises but doesn't really have understandable self generated speech anymore. Can repeat things he's heard before but it's not 100% under his control. Every so often he can ramble like he used to, but he has to be not stressed and comfortable. Aphasia. Sometimes wrong words come out if he can talk or they come out wrong (wrong order, slurred, gibberish). Closest thing to words that come out of his mouth are sounds that sound like words to people who know him.

Multimodel communicator. He has a speech generating device that Donnie built him and it sounds like his body voice or he can choose what it sounds like. Has a fuck ton of different apps and vocabularies. He really likes PODD and LAMP because of how they are arranged. He also has low tech AAC (his favorite is his custom one page opening PODD book that Donnie somehow made bullet proof??? and totally waterproof. Mikey doesn't get how it works but he's glad it does because he has dropped it in some gross stuff 😅 but he can just rinse it off and go about his day. Fucker has literally used it as a shield against the Kraang's blaster fire, not a dent to be seen. All the turtles know the signals Leo uses during patrols but they also use a ASL modified for their three fingers. And he loves picture cards. He'll be hanging out with his brothers and just hand one of them a no card to be obstinant. His fuck you (playful) card is his second favorite. His picture cards stay at home because they are easy to lose because small and hard to transport because it's several thousand 1.5 in square cards with velcro on the backs. He does have a small binder with a few in it for patrols, just in case.

Dyslexic and has a hard time reading print between that and his vision. Needs enlarged print, a magnifier, or braille for reading.

He has some sort of hearing impairment /might be deaf but he doesn't know what's going on exactly. He just knows he has a hard time understanding speech especially if there is a lot of background noise. And he can't hear well while he is actively focused on seeing (CVI).

More about gender. He's a trans boy bu he's also a demigirl. He's bigender. But he prefers masc pronouns. Or neopronouns.

He loves food. And he's also kind of a walking hazard to himself (clumsy much) so his brothers prefer he be supervised while cooking.

He's 5" even and the shortest of all of them.

He sticker bombs everything he can get his chronically grubby little hands on.

Chronic migraines and photosensitivity. He has a special mask ge keeps on him that doesn't have eye holes and is made out of light blocking materials so if he gets overwhelmed by the light he can just put it on and rely on his other senses. His ability to fight without thinking really comes in handy for this.

He is really fast with his forearm crutches because they make him more stable.

I finally posted a little something!

Little Rain helps Mountain make dinner!

Wrote this in 20 minutes with barely any editing.

Glad to be contributing fics to combat the lack of little ghoul content.

Rain was helping Mountain make dinner. Sort of. He was little, and Mountain didn’t want his disaster baby to be handling tools or hot pans. But Rain wanted to help really bad.

Rain looked up at Mountain excitedly with his innocent puppy-dog eyes.

Mountain gathered himself and looked around for something to keep Rain’s attention.

“Here. Rain.” Mountain handed Rain an onion. Rain took it into both hands gently. “I need you to watch over that for me.”

“Okay,” Rain said softly, looking at the onion.

Mountain turned his attention back to his cooking meal- well, some of his attention. Parenting Rain had turned him into an anxious helicopter mother.

Rain was pretty quiet for the next ten minutes. He hummed quietly to himself, swaying on his feet, but held onto the onion with great care and concern.

Eventually Mountain turned to Rain.

“Okay, bring that over here.”

Rain walked up to Mountain with the onion. Mountain made sure to hold him back from getting too close to the stove.

“I’m gonna add it to the sauce now.”

Rain looked down at his onion and held it up to Mountain.

Mountain took the onion gently from Rain and began peeling it over the counter.

“Thank you for helping Rainy,” Mountain said as genuinely as he could.

Rain was already proud of himself for helping, but Mountain being thankful for his help made him feel even better! He smiled and stimmed to himself.

Mountain began chopping the onion as he thought fondly of his baby’s perpetual puppy-dog eyes. That boy doesn’t even know what he does to Mountain. He’s too adorable for his own good.
