A breath to fill your lungs trying not to cry as you smiled up at the man in front of you. The one you were going to marry and have a life with after you both finally graduated. But this moment couldn't wait. This magical moment after a year. Some say it was fast but you supposed it was called love at first sight for a reason.

Or at least it was supposed to be. A wedding was nothing if a groom never showed up for his bride leaving her humiliated by the alter and missing the wedding entirely. Only to show up after everyone decided to call it quits and leave for the night. Waiting for you with baited breath and a guilty look on his face. He wasn't even wearing a tuxedo. But better late than never.

"Ian! There you are! Where have you been? Y'know what? Nevermind! The priest is still here. We can go inside and still elope even if everyone left already!"

Smiles turned to him exceedingly and in joy-

Reality shattered. Gasps wracked around. Silence fell.

Your eyes blinked at his guilty face. "I-...What?"

"I'm sorry, Y/n." His hands released yours as he looked down. "But I can't go through with this! I-... I've been having an affair with you behind someone else's back. Someone whom knows and left me a year ago."

More gasps were had. A bouquet of flowers dropped from your hands to your feet. Time seemed to slow before completely freezing.

"I really did try to make this work! I thought if I forced myself to invest time with you I'd forget all about them but I couldn't and I still don't. I still love them!"

Your world shattered as humiliation, guilt, regret, anger all swirled about behind shock which was the strongest emotion. Keeping you from saying anything as Ian without looking up at you took off his ring and without saying anything pushed it back into your palms.

"Here. Take this. You can sell it to get some money. I-It's the least you deserve after what I put you and them through. I'm-... I'm sorry, Y/n. I really am."

He then left the bride standing there. Nothing but white on her body. Tears on her cheeks. And crushed flowers at her feet. No one but her lonely self for comfort in the moonlight so late at night.

First things first, until there is a confirmed paternity test, Ian isn't saying or doing SHIT about this. Because what are the odds?! What are the fucking odds?

Tho I mean, cmon man kinda some fucked karma for cheating on your partner of so many years who you've known like..your whole life but whatever.

Ian wouldn't tell you about the pregnancy until that paternity test comes back a match, he's desperately clinging to hope that this isn't a conversation he's going to have to have with you but

It's cut and dry on ink and paper. Ian is a father to be with a woman he ruined your relationship with while trying to nurture a budding career in acting. Initially he's shell shocked about it, and that cold viscous feeling of immense regret and guilt flood his system.

Bad enough when he called you to confess to cheating, by some miracle you decided not to block him-shit even if you only kept his number because you were technically on the lease, any reason was a good reason to Ian but how the absolute fuck was he supposed to tell you this? He was skating on thin ice as it was just trying to keep a piece of you in his life.

What makes this worse is that really? Ian wanted a family with you, have kids that were a blend of your traits, raised in a nice home, by loving supporting parents that would be you and Ian. And now? An illegitimate child with a one night stand in a moment of weakness and stupidity he'd be paying for the rest of his life.

Ian does tell you, he can't not tell you, but it does take a stripe of time for him to try and cobble together how he tells you and really? There's no good way to do it. There will never be a good way to do it and so he just resigns himself to that this will likely be the last time he has any interaction with you.

His voice is shakey and somber when he tells you he has more to admit to, he'll come right out and say what's happened peppered with the usual admission of guilt and that he "fucked up". At first he thinks he's doing okay but that quickly goes down the drain when he hears you crying. Again. Because of him.

"I can't keep doing this. Why do I keep letting you hurt me like this? Why did I ever trust you?" You're understandably very upset and whether you decide to keep Ian in your life or not is a decision he'll do his best to respect even if you don't exactly believe him when he says that. (I mean really, bud. Cmon)

While Ian won't want anything but a basic coparenting relationship with the child's mother, Ian would want to be present in his child's life and would want to be a good dad. It isn't the kid's fault, Ian knows that. While Ian hopes you'll be by his side to be a good step parent, he can't blame you either if you don't feel comfortable for a while to interact with his child

If you even decide to stick around of course. He can't force you but he would try or do or say anything in hopes to persuade you, beg, cry, Y'know somehow more desperate than the voicemails after he cheated on you

In all honesty, Ian's a good dad. He loves his child, the circumstances were far from ideal but Ian does his best to provide the best he can in all capacities and as his child grows- so does Ian.

He learns a lot in regard to emotions and patience. Ruminating a lot on how things could have been so very different, could have been better, if he'd only just been more emotionally available to you and patient. If he'd really put the work in the way you had, if you could see him doing it now. Was it too late for him? For you?

Ian is a doting father and should you decide to stay with him you'll see the impact this child has on him; his emotional acuity, his patience, his adapting to newfound responsibilities...there are some ways that this situation impacts him for the better however it certainly leaves him with a fair share of scars as well.

If you're still around, the child's mother will be contentious. She will still vy for Ian's affections and wouldn't be above doing petty things and using her child to do it either. On top of that, she'd also be the type to revel in court appearances and try to change the goalposts when it comes to parenting and custody. It isn't easy on you by any means but you stand by Ian and as always, lovingly support him and the child through the ordeal and Ian does his best to make sure you're alright too. You've been through so much and he wishes you weren't still paying the price of his poor judgment

If you arent around, Ian will forever mourn your absence and still cling to a small sliver of hope the two of you may have another chance in the future. He still won't be romantically involved with the child's mother, his resentment to her will only grow from that point and he'd be reluctant to move on in dating even if you already have

Ian's focus would be his child and his work and if that's all he has, well... he knows that's by his own design and no one's fault but it's own. If he even deserves that much will be a question that keeps him up late into the mornings along with tearful memories of you and the family you could have been.

Well I decided to do something different, a crossover, so I hope you like it.I had this idea last night so I decided to write it hahaha, I decided to make the characters from the game Something's wrong with Sunny day Jack interacting with the reader with some characteristics of some characters from chainsaw man .

Ian realized what you wanted and suppressed the laughter in his throat.

"Sure love! Let's go!" Spoke the happy redhead.

With a few steps the two of you arrived at the ice cream parlor, people looked at you with fear, not because they knew of your ability, but because you were a demon, but you didn't care much, Ian didn't like people's attitude towards his romantic partner, he soon ordered the flavors of ice cream, and as soon as it was ready you left.

The redhead stared at you tenderly, for you had a silly smile on your face, and you looked at him and gave one of the most beautiful smiles he had ever seen.

" Would you like to try some of my ice cream?" You offered him some.

With that he took the part of the ice cream shell that you weren't holding, and brought the frozen treat closer to your mouth, he just took a little "bite" of the tip of your ice cream, you were happy with that.

"Would you like to try some of my ice cream too angel?" you nodded at Duff's question, then you did the same as he did, but you got some ice cream smeared on the corner of your lips, Ian's eyes sparkled at that scene, he didn't hold back and gave a seal of a kiss on the corner of your lip as a way of cleaning the ice cream smear, he didn't care much about having his life stolen by you.

Well that was quick, you looked at him in horror, because you didn't expect that.

"You idiot! Do you realize what you have done?"

I made bad choices and stayed up sketching.

Honestly Ian in my opinion doesn't get as much attention as a potential yandere in the game. Thanks to #Yukidragon and their theories for the game and the teasers that Sanccpop Studios released, I have developed a deeper interest into Ian's character.

Like dammmmnnnn. Man their stuff is like oh -bleep-. They do a great job laying out the information and bring so much in that before reading I didn't even know. Gosh I could gab all the rest of the night about their post on SDJ. It feels like Game Theory when they explain it.

Is it okay to request a reaction of the boys (SDJ, Bo, Elias and Taylor) seeing their beloved in their clothes (Like a shirt or something)? Either in public or private if that's fine!

Can't Speak:

Ian fully short circuits at the sight of you in his clothes. Especially if it's like a pair of his sweatpants and a graphic tee of his for a lazy day in. He's also immediately hard and trying to hide it.

Taylor's mouth goes dry and he stares. He can't really figure out what to say. The most you'll get is a hoarse "you look good" from him before he makes excuses to leave so he can jack off.

Elias doesn't really know what to say. You look so good and there's a thousand words pressing at his tongue, trying to come out. But he can't settle on any one thing to say, so he simply stares.

Nick isn't used to getting close enough for people to take his clothes like that. But he loves it when you do. And he will make sure you know just how much he loves the sight of you in his clothes.

Shaun's heart skips a beat and it takes him a moment to really process it. But once he does, he's absolutely teasing you about it. After all, clearly you missed him so much, how cute~

Bo has no sense of self control or of appropriate timing. He sees you in his clothes and immediately tries to mount you. The whole time he's growling about how much he loves you wearing his scent.

Priorities

Ian loved going out, getting dressed up, talking to people, networking, having some drinks with you, and going home to fall in a heap together on your bed. Fixing the collar of his shirt, running his hand through his hair to make sure it was coiffed just so, Ian turned his head from side to side- giving himself one last look over in the mirror before coming out of the bathroom. He'd been going out more often as of late, sometimes without you-- which you swore to him up and down that you were okay with. Ian was starting a new chapter of his life- being accepted into a highly acclaimed school of the arts, being signed to a company that wanted to use him, getting a manager to help him navigate these new waters.

It had been a lot to say the least, a whirlwind of events that sometimes threatened to overwhelm him. But there you were, as you always were. To steady him, to ground him, to comfort him through it all. The gentle way you'd coo to him with words of comfort, how your fingers would card through his hair until he felt himself dozing off, the feel and smell of you pressed against him in a tight hug. Where would Ian have been without you? Your encouragement and support had helped propel him to embrace these dreams and aspirations that were coming true before his eyes, success withing his grasp.

"(Name)...? Are you almost ready?" Ian calls down the hallway as he tugs his blazer on, it's a polished casual look he's going for. He'd tried a few looks before settling on what he had. A boy next door sort of charm with a little edge in his long hair and sometimes introverted demeanor. Really, he was simply shy sometimes but people liked a person better when it was reframed as "mysterious". Or so Ian had been told.

You're coming down the hallway not long after, dressed in an outfit you'd chosen for a party the pair of you attended a few weeks ago. You gave him your usual grin, "Yeah, sorry. Couldn't find my shoes." Ian purses his lips, he likes your clothes, how your hair is styled, the accessories you've chosen, really--he does but. "Oh, you wore that outfit before, didn't you?" Ian knows the answer, he knows you do too, and he knows his manager certainly would too. You give a little shrug, not picking up what he's putting down and instead make sure you have your phone wallet and keys.

"I like this outfit." You say simply, "You picked it for me." Either you don't care or don't know but either way, you're ready to step out the door and Ian doesn't want to be late. Maybe it'll be fine. Maybe nobody would notice. The pair of you get an uber into the city to an upscale building, bustling with well dressed people entering and valets scurrying. Ian helps you out of the car, lacing his fingers with yours. The more he looks at you, a little giddy to mingle and have a good night, the more it softens his anxiety as he gives your hand a fond squeeze before gently butting his head against yours. A soft bashful smile breaks his lips as he meets your gaze. "I'm really glad you're here." He murmurs against your hair. You press a chaste kiss to his cheek as you walk in together.

The night presses on, draped in ambient lighting and ornate decor, a dj plays their music set to loud thumping bass while chatter is scattered about the sprawling venue, caterers mill about with polished trays of hors d'oeuvres and flutes of champagne, a crowded bar is at the back with several well dressed bodies pressed upon it with cocktails in hand. For now you're seated beside Ian on a couch you're positive costs more than your apartment, his arm is around your shoulders and you're murmuring conversation and jokes back and forth. A few drinks do miracles to relax you both an an atmosphere you're still getting accustomed to. A few people stop by to chat with Ian and introduce themselves to you kindly, some carry a conversation with him for a while and you're happy to watch.

Ian, the once shy nerdy boy who hid his hentai under the bed was now a charming conversationalist, at ease amongst his peers and soon to be coworkers. You were proud of him, you were happy for him, and you couldn't help the smile and warmth that blooms upon you. As the pair excuse themselves from you, Ian catches your gaze and blushes a little. "Wh-what? Did I say something weird?" You knock your head against his shoulder.

"No. It's just..." you chuckle a little and pat his thigh. "I'm just really proud of you, Ian." Your words are as genuine as your smile and if it weren't for thr fact you were in a crowded party, he may have gotten misty eyed but his heart still thrums wildly in his chest at your words. Ian doesn't think you'll ever know just how much that sentence means to him. Or how much he loves you. Down to his bones, he's never felt more loved or accepted than in the time he's spent with you. You give his thigh a squeeze and push yourself up from the couch. "Where are you going?" He blurts, he doesn't mean to sound so needy but you can't just say stuff like that and leave him, not before he thanks you.

"Just to get a refill. I'll bring you back one too." You bend to collect his empty glass, little sneak you are- you steal a brief kiss that has Ian leaning toward you for more but he's left teasingly hanging as you weave through the crowd to the bar. God, you are just...incredible. Through and through. He loses sight of you as you reach the bar and relaxes against the couch cusions again before weight dips on his other side.

"I've told you before, it's in your best interest to come to these things alone." Oh, goddammit. The sharp clip of that voice belongs only to one person, his manager. His posture straightens, almost like that of a scolded child as he looks over to them. Dressed sharp, teetering on over dressed and exuding authority and refinement. "Every time you bring them, you don't mix and mingle enough." Their gaze pins Ian to his spot. There's a blend of disappointment in him and accusatory in their tone. Ian shifts a little in his seat, this feeling bubbling in the pit of his stomach isn't entirely unfamiliar, it almost feels nostalgic though in the worst possible way.

"I've talked to lots of people tonight." Ian defends himself feebly. "Besides, I feel better when they're here." And it's not a lie, Ian can fend for himself alone at these events as he has before- the smiles plastered to his face, some bullshitting and ribbing, he acts his way through those nights. But when you're here, he can be more himself. He can enjoy himself, with you.

His manager clicks her tongue, fiddling with an expensive watch clasped around their wrist. "They're wearing the same outfit from three weeks ago. You don't repeat outfits at these functions." They cut, glancing disapprovingly at your back. "Ian, you know at some point you're going to have to make a choice about what you want. Do you want to be a star? Do you want to be a celebrity, have the fame?"

"Of co-" Ian is cut off by a glower and a raised finger.

"I'm not finished." They cut coldly, "Do you want all those things you've dreamed about and worked so hard for or do you want them?" The tone darkens in reference to you and Ian swallows thickly. "Do you want some cheap apartment and a ten year old car or do you want better for yourself?" Frankly, he doesn't know why he can't have you and his dreams. He doesn't think it's particularly greedy of him either. Ian doesn't want better just for himself, he wants to give better to you. To share it with you. To spoil you. To give you the life and love you so deserve.

The pause seems to soothe his manager, a little anyway, as they reach to adjust the lapels of his coat. "I won't expect you to answer me now, you've been drinking." Ian waits for them to ask what but they let it slide. "People love single people, the idea they can fantasize about having them. There's an allure about that, and about you being new and fresh to this scene." Their eyes lift to see you approaching with two drinks in hand. "Think about it, Ian."

You return with drinks in hand to see Ian's manager sitting beside him as your boyfriend tries to quickly mask his anxiety. "Oh, hi! I didn't know you'd be here tonight." You've always tried to be amicable with his manager but you've also always been aware that they didn't seem to particularly like you. It didn't bother you, you only saw them a handful of times af best.

They look at you and then drop down to the crystal glasses in your hand. "...I hope that's a vodka tonic. Ian has to watch his diet for auditions." They clip and you resist the urge to roll your eyes just giving a tight lipped smile. It's very clearly a brandy old fashioned that you hand him and your preferred drink in your hand.

"It totally is, how did you know?" His manager rolls his eyes and fluidly raises from the couch to leave before casting a look you can't quite decipher to Ian, before turning on their heel to blend into the crowd and check on their other clients. "...what an asshole." You huff, settling next to Ian and giving him a little smile. "You alright?" You know they have a penchant of running Ian a little hard and you hoped they hadn't spoiled his night. He inhales, stirring the garnishes of his drink for a moment before gingerly taking a sip and setting it on the table. Never a good sign. Sympathy creases your brow as you reach for Ian's hand that feels a little limp, his fingers stalling before closing around yours.

Ian exhales and forces a smile back, he doesn't like acting for you. He doesn't like lying to you. But he doesn't want to ruin your night either. "You know how they are. I'll be okay. They're just...looking out for me. In their own way." Ian nods, almost trying to convince himself as their words whisper in and out of his head. You seem satisfied, at least for now, and don't press the issue. Eventually the tension fades, the drinks keep flowing, and you & Ian become that saccharine sweet couple people envy.

It's the wee hours of morning as Ian leads you out of the building, an arm tightly around your waist as you comfortably press into his side, pressing the occasional kiss under his ear, thanking him for a fun night and how much you love him. Exhaustion is evident in your voice and Ian is looking forward to cuddling up in bed with you. As he flags down your car home, you both slide into the back seat while the driver navigates back to your apartment. Ian smiles softly as you doze off against him as he strokes your hair lovingly. You're perfect. You're perfect and there's nothing that will tear him from you. You guys will make this work, long distance, long hours, Ian will make this work. He refuses to sacrifice you for anything. All that's good in this world, you deserve. And Ian will do whatever he has to in order to provide that for you.

Happy New Year! I wanted to give a little something to you all as a little thanks for all your love and support this year! I love you all, and hope your having a safe wonderful night!

You decided to throw a new years party for all your friends and loved ones, and so far it was a big success! Everyone seemed to be having a great time drinking, sharing food and stories, and gearing up for the new years. Except one thing seemed to be missing. You knew who it was and you were determined to find them before the ball dropped. Luckily for you; you did, but the problem was everyone was already starting to count down, and he was all the way across the room! You knew it was now or wait till next year. You didn't want this year to be a repeat of last year so you began to quickly make your way to him pushing away anyone you got in the way.

Sunny Day Jack

After everyone yelled out five you called out “Jack!”

He perked up at the sound of your voice, and quickly scanned the crowd to find you. When he did he began to head your way as well a friendly smile on his face “Hey Sunspot!”

Around you; you could hear the people counting down to one feeling panicked. You quickly pull the man down by his jacket connecting your lips when everyone yells Happy New year.

You could feel him stiffen at first then melt into it pulling you closer to him. When the two of you pulled away all you could see was the dreamy look on Jack’s face

“That was…..wow sunshine.” He looks down at you with a smirk now crossing his face “Can i have another?”

Ian

Everyone was yelling out the count down when you called out “Ian!”

He was quick to turn to you, and without much thought made his way to you. A smile spreads on his features when he reaches you “Hey y/n”

You weren't even sure what the countdown was at, but you didn't want to miss your opportunity so without much thought you grabbed his face pulling him to you and connecting your lips. You could hear everyone cheer while Ian goes completely still causing you to pull away.

However right when you were about to pull away he pulled you back giving a loving kiss in response. When the two of you pulled away red faced Ian let out a quiet chuckle

“What a way to start the new year.”

Shaun

You had reached him when everyone called out five. You tugged on his sleeve calling his name “Shaun!”

He looked down at you and smiled “Hey!” before he could say anything more you wrapped your arms around his neck, stood up on your tiptoes, and connected your lips with his.

As if waiting for this moment Shaun wasted no time pulling you as close as he could his hands on your hips kissing you back. The cheers erupted along with the sparks between you two, and when you finally pulled away all you could see was each other.

“I've been waiting for that for so long.”

Nick

You waved your arms and called “Nick!” as soon as everyone yelled six.

Luckily that had caught his attention and he immediately waved back before excusing himself from the people he was talking to, and meeting you in the middle of the crowd “hey n/n”

You could have everyone yell out the count down making Nick turn so he could see the ball drop, but before he could you pulled him down by his shoulder, and kissed him on the cheek when everyone cheered for the new year.

He turned to you surprised before smiling down at you pulling you close “I think you missed love.” connecting your lips together in a sweet kiss

Joseph

He was already making his way to you before you could even call his name “Joseph”

“Hey doll, I've been looking for you.”

You blushed at the new nickname, but before you could respond he pulled you close, and as every yelled one he asked “may i?”

You nodded quickly and he sealed the deal as soon as everyone cheered. You melt into the kiss with your hands on his chest. As the two pulled away you could feel disappointment coarse through the further he pulled away. You wanted another kiss.

He chuckled before leaning down for another one. Many more were shared that night. Even more years down the line. Who knew?
