So I go by she/her but I’m questioning…. I can’t tell if I’m weird, or projecting but I think it’s really cool when I see people go by he/they or (especially) she/they. I think it would be cool to go by she/they? I don’t think I have any other reason? Is that ok? Is this ok to ask on non-binary? I’m so uncertain about it all. Sorry.
That’s totally fine! You don’t need a reason to use different pronouns, as long as it makes you happy to be called that, use it!

If this post gets:
100 notes I'll explain my gender to my friends and tell them my pronouns
500 notes I'll explain my romantic orientation to my friends (they think I'm aroace, I just identify as ace) ✓
1000 notes I'll come out to my sibling (they're agender, I know they'll support me)
10 000 notes I'll come out to my sister (she has pronouns in her discord bio, it'll be fine)
100 000 notes I'll tell my best friend I love her
1 000 000 notes I'll come out to my homophobic, transphobic conservative Christan family that I live with (they still talk to my agender sibling, so it'll just be very awkward for the next few years...)

So something that's kind of a pain for me being nonbinary is that my first language is incredibly gendered and none of the like... neopronouns fit me. well okay, there technically is a gender-neutral pronoun but a) I don't want to be called it because it feels infantilizing and b) none of the other words have gender-neutral forms. (I could theoretically come up with them but that's hard and that language is difficult enough.) I can't even say I sat down without indicating my gender! But I don't want to stop using the language completely. it feels like I'm just running away from my problems again...
Yeah it can be difficult to find what works in gendered language, I also have that problem, but I hope you find what works for you!
