explaining my "other" vote on that last poll if that's ok: i'm intersex & have always felt intersex, pretty much, and transition didn't change that at all. my gender is a bit more complicated but has always been "intersex", so transition was mostly unrelated
thanks for sharing!

*casually = "men/women" & medically = "male/female"
here's some example sentences to make it easier to clarify:
"Men don't have to worry about periods."
"Women can't imagine the pain of getting hit in the balls."
"Males don't have to worry about periods."
"Females can't imagine the pain of getting hit in the balls."
**this means: if you're transmasc, it would be worse to hear sentence 1 and 4. if you're transfem, it would be worse to hear 2 and 3.
**this means: if you're transmasc, it would be worse to hear 2 and 3. if you're transfem, it would be worse to hear 1 and 4.

*Monosexual is someone who is attracted to one gender, so lesbian, gay, hetero, etc.
** Mspec stands for multisexual spectrum, and it includes bisexuality, pansexuality, etc.
*** for example pre transition you were a lesbian, and you're still exclusively into women, just now you identify as a hetero transmasc/transman

oops i sent in the representation in pop media poll, a couple comments mentioned it reading like argument bait so i just wanted to apologise if that was causing any issues or anything, it was totally intended in good faith (i was just interested in to what extent personal identity influences how often you perceive a group to be represented)
i figured the same - that it would be interesting to see if there was a significant difference between groups. you're all good! if one or two people are just cynical and choosing to read the question in bad faith, i wouldn't worry about that lol
