(because i'm sick of only having angst on my feed)

so lets start off with the basics

geordi is the BIGGEST cuddler like

ever

when hes next to cutie on the couch or the bed

IMMEDIATELY wrapped up beside them

and its the cutest thing on earth

like hes got blankets pulled up and asking cutie if they want snacks

hes the whole package

Pairing: Dmitri Antonov x Reader / Enzo x Reader Summary: What it says on the tin. Warnings: Mild angst for some questions and some really mild suggestiveness. It’s pretty chill for the most part. Note: Gender neutral reader, or at least gender’s not emphasized. I’m also trying out a new formatting style that I picked up on another blog of mine that I like, but anyway. I wanted to put something out since I’m swamped in coursework and I’ve been meaning to get back to my long-fic on here. I’m pretty sure these lists have been done before, but I have my own headcanons so why not. Of course, these are my opinions so your milage may vary. I also altered some questions since I didn’t like/vibe with them. This can also be taken as a reader-insert, though sometimes I use ‘you’ in a non-specific way. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! The spicer version will be up in a day or so!

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

He’s more affectionate than his first impressions might make him seem. Early into knowing him, he might be a little distant physically, but eventually he might get more comfortable with showing affection. In a platonic sense, he tends to go for quick pats–a hand on a shoulder as he passes, throwing his arm around a shoulder if he’s feeling playful, a reassuring squeeze on your shoulder if he’s trying to be comforting. In a romantic sense, he can be pretty affectionate. Especially in private. Pulling you in for a kiss by a piece of clothing, hugs, lingering touches and caresses. Though, regardless, he’s a little awkward about PDA and is more reserved on that front.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Loyal, a kind of ride-or-die type of person. Dmitri’s lost a lot of friends and family over the years for various reasons, and his parents both had hard upbringings and lost a lot of people. While he isn’t exactly icy about it, letting someone in close to him is hard for him at points. So, if you end up in a ‘best friend’ situation, Dmitri has definitely opened up to you and trusts you deeply. While he’s not prone to coddling or is the best shoulder to cry on at points, he’s a very solid friend and he’s there for you in ways that matter.

As for how that friendship would start, it would start kind of slow unless a situation makes that unlikely. He’s kind of charming, witty in a pretty dry sort of way, and can hold a conversation decently enough. Dmitri isn’t bad company, but he’d end up being the type of person you’d see and talk to every once and a while. That is, until you manage to catch him in a moment of free and stress-free time and once he realizes he likes your company too, he’d start to go out of his way to interact and things would progress from there.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

As much as he’d struggle to admit it, yeah. It kind of ties into how he is with affection, so he’d be more prone to do so in private. Having your weight at his side while sitting beside you or you leaning back into him can be comforting for him. He doesn’t really acknowledge it or even fully grasp the feeling for what it is, but solitude is something he’s become very numb to. So, it is often a nice reminder of how nice it can be to have someone he can actually be like that with.

As for how, it depends. If it’s upright, he’ll rest his arm over your shoulders or upper back and likes it when you lean your head on his shoulder. Dmitri’s got restless hands, though, so he might end up playing with bits of your clothing (strings, zippers, ect) or hair as he does so. Laying down/sleeping he tends to prefer to be the big spoon, starting out with an arm wrapped around your middle and legs tangled with your own so your back is pressed against his chest. Though, once he’s fallen asleep, he either ends up rolling onto his back or just kind of slings an arm over your middle.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? What would that look like?)

Yes, in the long run. Though, he wouldn’t fully know what that would look like. All he knows is that he’d like to be doing a different profession and be able to be more involved with his son, otherwise a lot of it would end up being compromises with you. While he certainly wants/needs money, it’s mostly so he can leave (be that the life he currently lives or his home country in general) but in the long run he just wants to live somewhere calm (and preferably where the government isn’t watching your every move, but y’know.)

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Face-to-face. If it comes to a point where things are unsalvageable, he’s definitely made that known beforehand and has tried to fix things. He’d end up hating himself if he broke things off over the phone or something, as painful the process would be in person.

F = Fights (What are arguments like with them? How do they resolve disagreements/fights? What are some things they would have a hard time forgiving?)

Dmitri’s temper is pretty slow-building–if anything, he seems pretty calm if not a little biting and it can be a surprise if he gets physical. He definitely has had his moments, though with loved ones he tries to avoid physical confrontations and has tried to break people apart if he senses that fists might be swung between family/friends. If you were to get into an argument with him, Dmitri kind of closes off. Tight expression and body language, clipped answers, bitter sarcasm before trying to distance himself or physically leave for a while if he’s able.

As for resolving issues, if it’s something he is solely at blame for, he’ll try to approach it and talk about things when tensions aren’t running so high. If it’s something you’re both at fault for, it can be a little more difficult to navigate but in the end he just wants it resolved because the stress will get to him after a while. If left alone for too long, it’ll shift into bitterness and/or resentment and he doesn’t want that.

In regards to what he finds unforgivable, that can be a bit of a gray area. He’s done his fair share of morally questionable/objectionable things in his life, and he would be way too aware how hypocritical it would be of him to get on a high horse about some things. Yet, he has lines he doesn’t want crossed. Harm to him or his family is pretty major, he won’t stay in a relationship with someone who’s cheated on him, etc. His forgiveness could be earned in some situations, but others he would struggle to let go of.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

This can be another sort of gray area, given his (former) profession but one-on-one he’s more gentle than you think. He won’t really treat anybody like they’re made of glass, but he has his moments of genuine tenderness both physically and emotionally. Yet, it can depend on the situation. If it’s clear you’re under some sort of emotional distress, he’s not going to go out of his way to make that worse and he’ll try to be as gentle as he can be. That can be echoed physically, too, unless the situation doesn’t allow him the time.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

(I’m going to sound like a broken record but–) It depends. Sudden hugs from strangers or aquaintances that he doesn’t know well, he wouldn’t be a huge fan of being hugged by them. Though, with people he’s close to, he actually doesn’t mind them and will usually return them. In a platonic sense, he doesn’t mind a quick one in greeting, but if you’re in a deeper relationship with him then him initiating them might be a little more common.

In general, his hugs are tight. Not rib crushing, but enough to not make you feel like he’s waiting for it to end. Gives your shoulder(s) a shake when he parts if it’s a particularly excited one. If you’re seeking comfort from him, he’ll hold you closer to him, a hand on the back of your head or just wrapped around your shoulders. If he’s seeking comfort from you, Dmitri acts more reluctant and almost embarrassed he’s putting you in that situation, but he’ll relax almost as soon as you return the embrace and hold you tight. Probably doesn’t say anything for a good while.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It takes him a while. Dmitri married quickly before he really understood if he actually loved his wife at the time or not, and he’s not too inclined to repeat that. So, once he ends up saying it, he means it and it’s probably after a good while into your relationship.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

His jealousy is a lot like his anger, though he’s not prone to jealousy too often. However, he definitely has his moments. It’s not to point where he’d lash out or try to ruin anything, but he gets quiet and closed off. He doesn’t say much if you interact with him and he can get pretty agitated when he can’t leave the situation. Eventually it fades and he’ll shake it off as him being childish, but from time to time he might get a little peeved or, if you’re in a private and more intimate relationship, he might make it hard for you to pay attention to anybody other than him for a bit…

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Firm, confident. He cups the sides of your face/head while he does so, especially if it’s just a quick one. Sensual ones are slower, more drawn out and he likes to pull/hold you close to him. He tends to go for your lips, naturally, but he enjoys kissing your neck and will kiss the back of your shoulders, shoulder blades, or along the spine if your back is to him. On him, Dmitri really likes to be kissed along the jaw, below his ear or down his neck. If you want his attention, that’s a good way to get it. Sometimes, he doesn’t mind being kissed on the chest, palm/hand, or shoulders.

L = Little ones (How are they around children? Would they want one(s) of their own?)

He’s pretty decent around children, and younger children he entertains pretty easily enough. Dmitri enjoys it in short-term interactions, but he wouldn’t exactly want to run a daycare out of his home. Given his experience with Mikhail, he’s at least somewhat familiar with being around a child and is more relaxed than he was in the first month or so after his son’s birth. Older children/teenagers is where he struggles, though, and feels intimidated from time to time (and would rather take that admission to his grave.)

As for wanting more of his own, Dmitri’s pretty happy with Mikhail. Given him having to leave him behind while he fled to America, he would be too focused on getting him to safety to really think about having another. When things are settled, though? Maybe!

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them? What is it like to wake up with them?)

Dmitri’s an early riser, it’s rare that you wake up and he’s not already awake or starting to wake up. If there’s nothing to do, he might stay in bed with you, even if he doesn’t fully fall back asleep. However, if there’s something to be done, he can get a little too restless to just lay around for too long. Catch him in the right moment, though, he’ll probably be open to cuddle in bed for a while before he has to shower and get up fully. Mornings can be particularly restless, so he can be a little hard to convince to lay around for a bit.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them? What is it like falling asleep with them?)

Usually it’s relaxed dinners (unless the situation says otherwise) and he’s more likely to spend more quality time with you at night. Unless he’s just exhausted, but even then he might hold out until he can pull you to bed with him. Pillow talk is pretty common and he takes the time to catch up with you or gets pulled into a prolonged conversation. As the night drags on, he gets more cuddly and kind of space-y, and loses his train of thought pretty often once he gets tired enough. At that point, he probably just pulls you into him and mutters his goodnight, leaving you to drift off or listen to his breathing even out.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It takes a while for Dmitri to really open up about himself, and most of the time you get to know him in bits and pieces. He picked that up from his family, considering even as an adult he still doesn’t know a ton about his parents or his family line, even though I headcanon that both are still alive. However, it’s definitely a sign of trust if he starts talking about himself at length, especially if he dips into childhood, his time in the military, etc. He’s more prone to listen to other people’s stories than he is to share his own. So, it takes a while before you hear more personal details about him.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

While he doesn’t exactly have the patience of a saint, he is not all that quick to anger. He’s learned how to act that way, but in reality it takes a genuine effort to actually piss him off. There are a few buttons he doesn’t like pushed, but it can be hard to move him from scoffs and sarcasm to his quiet anger.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Dmitri’s a details guy, but he’s not exactly a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the people he knows in his life. He definitely remembers the important stuff, the deeper conversations, but sometimes he may forget something in passing or get a detail about it wrong. However, he does remember an impressive amount of details about certain people, memories, etc.

R = Romance (How romantic are they naturally? Is it part of their personality or do they have to try? Do they have any specific love languages?)

Dmitri’s not exactly a born romantic, but he’s certainly charismatic enough and he definitely puts some thought into any romantic gestures. He’s primarily a ‘physical touch’ person when it comes to love language, which does clash with both a sort of insecurity in him about that along with a bit of a cultural thing that he picked up from his mother and father. From time to time, you may know he’s actively trying to be romantic, but other times it might just happen as he goes.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He’s pretty protective, though not exactly overbearing. If it’s clear that you’ve got yourself in a situation that could turn sour or dangerous, he isn’t likely to just stand back and watch. More often than not, he’ll try to get between you and another person/group, but he’s also willing to back you up if you need him to. As for how he wants to be protected, he doesn’t really want to be in any specific way. He’s very appreciative of support and assistance if he needs it, but he’s a little too headstrong in a certain way to let himself hide behind you or anybody else.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Dmitri definitely tries to put effort into the things he does, especially if he’s doing them for you. Well, his smoking is gonna catch up to him in his later years if it hasn’t already. If we’re talking personality or lifestyle habits, Dmitri can oversell his confidence in a situation and it can lead to poor judgment of character or missing red flags that he always kicks himself over in hindsight. He can be overly biting in his remarks if he’s angry and can be a little rough with his teasing/sarcasm, which is usually him not feeling the room or situation before speaking.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not overly so? He does groom himself and takes care of his appearance to an extent, but there were plenty of points in his life where he couldn’t really afford to put much thought into his appearance. Plus, he’s worked mostly in places where he’s wearing a uniform, so he’s not really cared too much about clothing style and hasn’t explored much until he has the time and freedom to do so. However, he does maintain his facial hair and his hair in general.

W = Wedding (Would they pop the question first? How do they feel about marriage?)

Yes, possibly. Again, if he’s even thinking along those lines, he’s probably been in a relationship for a good while and is sure where he stands with his feelings. Though, you could take him off guard and ask first if you wanted, but with his experience in jumping too soon into a marriage he might be put on the spot. Dmitri is not bitter about the prospect of marriage, and while he’s lived for a while with the idea that he might not end up married again, it hasn’t left him cynical all that much. Of course, his previous relationship has complications, but if the feelings are there then he may be open to getting married again.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

All the books Dmitri got smuggled in that are in English are written all over by him–seemingly disjointed notes in Cyrillic in the margins, underlined and circled words in the text, etc. This is because he used them a lot when teaching himself English, as finding someone to speak it with was a challenge most of the time. It took him a lot of time and patience to get his fluency to where it is.

So, all of this to say, if you wanted to learn how to speak his native language, expect writing to feature pretty heavily. Though, he’d be a patient teacher.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Dmitri isn’t prone to staying in overly toxic relationships–if there’s more fighting than he can handle, he won’t stay and will break it off. He values confrontation and airing issues so they can be settled, but if nothing changes, he just figures he’s not a good match. Given the tension he’d experience in America during this time period, hostility and suspicion doesn’t get you far with him. Jealousy can be a hit or miss, as he can understand it to a degree, but it might eventually bleed into the first bit about fighting and incompatibility.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

If given the choice, Dmitri tends to settle into sleeping on his stomach, pillow over his head or his arm curled under it. If it’s comfortable for you, he doesn’t mind you using his back or shoulders as a pillow or you resting against him in that position. He can be a light sleeper sometimes, but the closeness can be comforting to him sometimes.

you hadn’t really noticed the snow until a delicate flake settled on your cheek, melting and running down your face along with the few trails of tears beside it. chifuyu sat next to you, head resting atop yours, making a mental note to apologise for crying into your hair and wetting it slightly. you both were cold, chilled by the cool concrete stairs touching your legs where you sat on them and the sparse snowfall began to get heavier. peke j had found shelter under your boyfriend’s hoodie, only peeking his little, pink nose and mouth out to lick the hand chifuyu held tightly. you found the rough swipes of the cat’s tongue strangely comforting as the already grey sky had begun to deepen in colour, nightfall beginning to make itself known to the city.

“y’knew he’d be here, didn’t you?” your voice was quiet, trembling due to the cold and your soft sobs that were beginning to subside. “think he still comes here to see if kei’s come home yet.” he murmured, also feeling tired from shivering in his minimal layers, knitted hoodie not doing the job he thought it was going to do. chifuyu reached over to where the black cat was licking your hand to stroke the warm fur on his little head. “‘s not coming home, j… not this time,” a mewl left the fluffy animal, “i know… miss him, too.” you hadn’t expected chifuyu to show up at your door on the morning of an unpleasantly cold winter day. he’d made multiple attempts to get you to come on a walk with him, seeing as you’d hardly left the house since the 31st of october but every time you’d rejected his proposal.

chifuyu had come to realise that he missed many things at the moment. he missed going on little strolls in the evenings with you, sitting in the park wondering if it would start snowing whilst you were out in the late hours of the day, coming home and cuddling whilst he sat and told you about the new manga series he found. chifuyu missed you, and he missed baji. although less than usual, he’d still seen you through the dull month that had been november, and he knew that he could still call you if you really weren’t in the mood to see anyone. he understood that, and he was okay with it. chifuyu was more than happy to give you the time and space you needed to somewhat recover from what had recently happened. he knew you were still there, he could still talk to you. he couldn’t speak to baji anymore, though. he can’t see baji anymore. neither of you can, no one can. he’s gone and no one can bring him back to him. talking to that tall stone surrounded by flowers was starting to get tiring. he’d never enjoyed it in the first place, but he just wanted a simple reply from his dear friend. a single phrase, a word, anything. things probably would’ve felt somewhat better if kazutora hadn’t gone and put himself back in that dismal cell.

amongst all this, chifuyu had also missed his cat. everyone knew peke j was important to chifuyu, especially you. you knew that cat reminded him of baji with his thick mass of fur and striking yellow eyes, feisty and playful in nature. you remembered the pair getting on like wildfire when they met each other, and baji had almost put the kitten in his pocket before he left. neither you or chifuyu had thought it would be possible to form such a human-like friendship with an animal, but he had done just that. such a close friendship that peke j would take the odd stroll over to his house and sit and mewl at the window. more often than not you would be sitting in baji’s room doing homework together and hearing a familiar pat pat pat on the glass before your friend slid it open and took the cat into his arms like it was his own.

“yeah, but you knew he’d be here.” you peered up at him after blinking away the fresh tears brimming in your sleepy eyes. he was so cute. his little nose was ruddy from the cold and his cheeks were dusted with the same light pink colour. his lips had dark red splotches placed in particular areas where he’d bitten and picked at them, and his hands, one of which had come up to dry your eyes, were still warm and his knuckles had that similar dusting of ruddiness on them. “hm, surprised you didn’t.” the few loving kisses being pressed to the crown of your head was enough to make the welling tears spill over again. through your blurry vision you looked down at the remainder of the stairs that you sat atop. “d’you think he’s walking up the stairs right now, ‘fuyu?” you sniffled and jerked a finger towards the grey steps, “d’you think he’ll show up at the bottom of these in a second?” chifuyu’s shoulders deflated with a deep exhale. “they’re always doing stupid things, aren’t they? kei and kaz… always playing stupid pranks on us and stuff…” you could hardly keep your voice from wavering as your bottom lip quivered. “think they’re doing it again? they are, aren’t they… assholes… not fuckin’ funny are they, ‘fuyu?”

he didn’t respond so you craned your neck up to lay your gaze upon him once more. “are they?” your voice broke. you knew that wasn’t true, that they were playing along with another one of their childish jokes. Nice to pretend that it was, though. “no,” a sob left his mouth, followed by a dry, bitter laugh, “not fucking funny at all, are they?” his red yet still warm hands cradled you into his chest, peke j snuggling further into your hand that he still held. You whimpered something in response but he couldn’t quite make it out. “they’ll stop playing around soon, yeah? promise they will.” he knew you knew kazutora wasn’t coming back for a while, baji at all, but sure, it was nice to pretend for the evening.

chifuyu had practically dragged you to his room, whispering something about needing to get you warm. before you knew it, you’d been wrapped in one of your boyfriend’s huge sweaters and a pair of his joggers that were definitely ill fitting, not that it mattered much to you. the lightning was low in his room, the lamp on his desk softly illuminating his living space as you both cuddled into a mass of pillows and blankets on his bed. a hand had been nestled in your hair, messing and playing with it in a comforting manner whilst you lay your head on a firm chest. “you, asleep?” chifuyu asked, noting that peke j’s purring seemed to be dying down as he gave in to his own fatigue. “yeah… almost,” you forced out, feeling slightly annoyed at the fact that every time you were about to drift off, chifuyu would have something to say or ask you. “sorry… jus’ checking.” he smiled as he tugged the blankets up further until they reached the very back of your neck, drowning the pair of you in them. “g’night, love.” chifuyu hesitated slightly, feeling bad for talking more, but it left him as soon as you gave him a sleepy ‘love you, fuyu.’

You Think They’re Gonna Hit You

Includes: Izuku, Bakugou, Todoroki and my lovely Mina baby!

Warnings: ANGST but with a happy ending bc im baby, nothing too detailed though. Gender neutral reader <3

You had been in an abusive situation/relationship prior to your current relationship. You had yet to tell your partner.

You two were simply playing around, something very common in your relationship.

You were in his dorm, both of you going back and forth between tickling each other.

Your eyes were closed as you blindly search for his sides, your breath coming out in shrieks and gasps between you laughing so hard.

One you feel your lovely boo move so they’re hovering above you, rather than beside you and tickling the shit out of you, you open your eyes as you try to catch your breath.

However, once you see their position your breath gets caught in your throat, and your entire body freezes up.

They weren’t even in a very threatening pose, their face held a bright and playful grin. Yet, all you could focus on was the hand positioned like it was going to slap you.

It was practically coming for you in slow motion, you thought for sure your lovely partner was getting ready to slap you.

Without even thinking, you automatically flinch, hands coming up to protect your face, your body trembling in fear.

Izuku Midoriya

Izuku’s face changes from playful to concern very quickly, not that you can see from your tightly closed eyes and arms covering your face.

“Baby?” Izuku says softly, leaning back so he’s sitting cross-legged in front of your form. “(Y/N), baby, look at me please.” The utter concern and fear in his voice had you peaking your eyes open, looking between your fingers at the teary-eyed look he’s giving you.

Your body reacts before your mind really catches up to what the fuck just happened, and you sit up, crossing your legs as well and fiddle with your hands in your lap, looking anywhere but at Izuku’s gaze.

‘He’s gonna be so mad- he’s gonna yell and scream- I shouldn’t have reacted- if only I had just-’ Before you can even finish your rambling, terrifying thoughts, Izuku speaks up.

“D-did you think I was gonna hit you?” His voice comes out slowly and softly, but there’s not a hint of judgment. Only concern.

You slowly meet his gaze, continuing to fiddle with your hands. “N-not really you- It’s just what I’m used to so I just assumed-” You hurriedly try to explain before he speaks up again.

“Baby, you’re used to? How could you be used to- who did it? I’ll kill them, I swear!” Izuku leans forward slowly, as to not startle you anymore before pulling you to him, hugging you comfortingly, protectively.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, (Y/N). I promise. If I had known I wouldn't have done it. I'm so sorry baby.” Izuku reassures you genuinely.

Izuku continues reassuring you, comforting you and caring for you softly as you tell him about your past. Obviously you couldn’t spill everything out all at once, there would be more of these conversations in the future. But it was honestly nice. To just be able to get it out in the open, to have him comfort you.

“I will never hurt you, (Y/N). Let me be your hero.” Izuku says after you had cried out all your tears and fell asleep on him. He places a gentle kiss on your forehead, before laying down with you and falling asleep himself.

Bakugou Katsuki

Bakugou freezes as the genuine fear he can clearly see on your trembling form. He’s quick to sit against his wall on the bed, pulling you into his lap as he comfortingly pets your hair.

You bury your head in the crook of his neck, a flurry of painful memories causing tears to build up in your tightly closed eyes as you grip onto Bakugou as if your life absolutely depended on it.

“I-i’m sorry- I didn’t mean too-” You try apologizing, but he’s quick to shush you, his voice gruff but gentle in his own Bakugou way.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, dumbass. Jus’ breathe.” Of course, Bakugou doesn’t blame you, but he also feels you thought he was going to hit you simply because of how angry he can be, he didn’t know of your past of abuse.

“I know i'm always angry and shit, but- fuck-,” His voice breaks, and he holds you the slightest bit tighter, more protectively. “I’d n-never hit you, (Y/N).” He tries to keep his voice steady but it breaks again as tears well up in his eyes. “I love you so much, I’d never do anything to hurt you, okay, baby? I swear it- fuck.”

You continue to grip onto him desperately, opening your mouth to speak even though you know your voice is gonna be hoarse from your crying, “I k-know you would’t- it just made me think about when it did happen and I-I just reacted. I k-know you’d never, Katsu- I’m s-”

“No. Don’t be sorry. Just talk to me. Please?” He says sternly, but giving you the option object, to just stay within his arms protectively.

So you tell him some of the things you had to endure. He drops the name ‘dumbass’, giving you soft nicknames and encouragement to continue when you started crying too much to continue talking.

Aside from his encouragements, and hushing of your apologies, he just let’s you speak what's on your mind. It’s freeing, and honestly you feel a lot better when it’s over.

“Thank you, Katsu. I love you. So very much.” You whisper tiredly as you finish your hours long conversation. Bakugou shakes his head as he continues rocking you comfortingly.

“I'm here for you through whatever, babe. And I plan to keep it that fuckin’ way.” He says, the determination in his voice caused a small smile on your face.

You eventually fall asleep, Bakugou humming gently as he continues rocking you comfortingly. Honestly, you couldn’t be happier in that moment, with the love of your life caring for you with no restraints.

Todoroki Shoto

Todoroki’s face instantly drops as he watches your reaction. He knows that reaction. He’s had that reaction too many times to count.

He lays beside you, cuddling into your side, rubbing circles over your sides in a comforting manor as your breathing eventually returns to normal.

“I’m sorry, (Y/N).” His voice sounds so remorseful, so genuinely hurt.

“It's not you- It’s just muscle memory- I know you’d never actually do anything to hurt me Sho.” Your voice comes out quickly, you turn over to hide into his chest as he rests his head against yours. He moves his hand so it’s rubbing your back soothingly.

“Talk to me?” Todoroki asks, and it makes your heart swell. He’s not the most emotional person, you loved him regardless of that fact obviously, but the fact that he’s offering to listen without you bringing it up first makes you a bit happier.

So you talk, telling him about different situations throughout your life that inevitably lead to the muscle memory reaction. Todoroki didn’t talk, preferring to just listen. He’d switch between rubbing your back, or running his hands through your hair, occasionally kissing along your hairline or kissing your cheeks softly as you vented.

Once you finish talking, genuinely too mentally and physically exhausted to continue, Todoroki speaks up.

“None of that was your fault. Those people- they were at fault. You had never done anything wrong, (Y/N). Thank you for telling me. Thank you for trusting me enough to talk about this. You’re so strong and brave. I'm so proud to call you mine. I love you, (Y/N). Thank you for allowing me to help.” He ends his mini speech by placing a gentle kiss on your lips.

You smile at him tiredly, before pulling the blanket from the end of the bed bed and covering you both with it. You snuggle into his chest, leaning your head up to place a kiss on his jaw, before allowing sleep to take you.

Mina Ashido

Mina pauses at your reaction, confusion taking over her features before the realization slowly comes to her.

“Babycakes, no, i’d never-” She says quickly, jumping to straddle your lap, wrapping her arms around you reassuringly as your thoughts turn dark.

“It’s okay, cupcake, I’m here for you, jus breath, I've got you.” She reassures as your wrap your arms around her, cries slowly leaving your throat while she nuzzles the crook of your neck.

Before you can even open your mouth in an attempt to apologize she starts talking, “Don't you dare apologize. It’s not your fault, love.”

You can’t help the chuckle that interrupts your sobs, she knows you through and through.

“You want to talk about it, babycakes? I’ll listen. Let me be here for you please,” She pleads, just wanting to calm your painful sobs, just wanting to put a smile back on your perfect face. Her own eyes start to tear up, and she sniffles quietly.

You hug her a bit tighter, nodding your head. Once your tears calm down a bit, you tell her. You relay some of the events of the past that have scarred you to this day.

And with everything you say Mina continues to reassure you, kissing all over your face and hair. She continues holding you, not letting up for even a second. It means the world to you, just the fact that she’s being serious about it for you. She’s genuinely trying for you, and it makes a small smile light up your face as you finish retelling your past.

“There’s that gorgeous smile I love to see!” She says, a bright grin lighting up her face which just causes you to smile more.

“What would I do without you, Mina.” You say lovingly, as she wipes your eyes for hopefully the last time of the night.

Her smile turns loving as she gives you a small, gentle kiss.

“Let’s not find out, babycakes. You’re just gonna have to be stuck with me.”

Well, you couldn’t complain with her on that note.

A thought crosses his mind and he finds himself grabbing on to it. He carefully moves up in his bed, turning on the side lamp sitting on his nightstand. He grabs his phone and opens a recent text thread. TK: [11:17 PM] Are you awake?

TK can’t really sleep after he’s discharged from the hospital. One night, he goes searching for comfort and a shoulder to lean on. He finds both.

TK is no stranger to insomnia.

He’s been dealing with it on and off since his parents’ divorce, trying to come to terms with it. It was hard at first, he’d find himself lying wide awake in bed, thoughts racing as he tossed and turned, sleep never finding him. Other days he’d have a hard time waking up, or he’d wake up exhausted, almost like he didn’t sleep at all.

It got better with time, though. Some remedies helped along the way, as well as talking to his dad about it and working through some of the thoughts that had kept him wide awake, lurking in the depth of his mind.

TK would say he’s been doing better overall, aside from a few nights here and there where sleep had proven to be difficult or he’d be restless, he’d come a long way since he was a little kid.

Until he got shot. And for the nights following his release from the hospital, he found himself transported back to when he was seven years old, staring up at the ceiling. He can’t even burn off the restless and anxious energy with tossing and turning due to the stitches in his still-sore chest.

It doesn’t take a genius to connect the dots between the shooting and the insomnia TK is experiencing. He can’t remember the events, but there is still something nagging at him in his gut, keeping him awake. Keeping his mind switched on.

TK would sometimes find Owen still awake after a round of fitful sleep and they’d talk about anything, falling into a light conversation that would help ease TK’s mind and quieten his thoughts.

But TK had convinced Owen to go back to work once he was settled at home, and Owen was currently halfway into a twenty-four hour shift. TK isn’t the biggest fan of Owen’s well-meant hovering, it sometimes making him climb the walls, but if the firefighter was also being completely honest, the house is too lonely and silent for his liking in this moment. He could use a little bit of comfort or someone to talk to.

TK: [11:17 PM] Are you awake?

TK places his phone next to him, worrying his bottom lip as he waits.

His phone pings a minute later.

Carlos: [11:18 PM] Yeah.

Carlos: [11:18 PM] Everything okay?

TK’s anxiety starts getting the best of him, and his mind is suddenly searching for ways out.

He aware he’s taking too long to answer when another message comes through.

Carlos: [11:22 PM] TK?

Carlos’s growing concern is palpable through his text.

TK: [11:23 PM] Sorry. Yeah, everything’s fine.

Then TK realizes he owes Carlos an explanation.

TK: [11:23 PM] I can’t sleep.

Carlos’s reply comes immediately.

Carlos: [11:23 PM] Are you home alone?

TK: [11:24 PM] Yeah. Dad’s on shift.

TK draws in a deep breath and continues to chew on his bottom lip.

TK: [11:25 PM] Can I come over?

TK’s face starts to heat up as the anxiety continues to brew in his gut, watching the three grey dots appear and disappear a few times. He’s starting to dread he’s asked for too much.

He doesn’t know where he stands with Carlos, especially when it comes to a request like this one. He’s gone to Carlos’s place multiple times before, but when the officer had asked him to come over. TK’s never asked himself and he’s worried he crossed a line.

They haven’t talked about what they are, and TK hadn’t even given Owen a straight answer when his father asked. Owen put one and one together when Carlos stood in the doorway of TK’s hospital door with tear-streaked cheeks, figuring out that there’s…something between him and his son, but even after some playful teasing from Owen’s side once TK woke up, the younger man still hadn’t given him much. He didn’t deny it, though.

The truth is, TK is falling for Carlos. And it scares him. Confusion has been his one constant feeling since he woke up in the hospital, feeling like his entire life was turned upside down. Not only was he still healing from what happened in New York, but he had absolutely no intention of starting or getting into anything until he got back on his feet when he moved to Austin.

Then Carlos Reyes strode into his life and effortlessly began tearing down the walls TK had built around himself. After attempts to run and hide and the failure of said attempts, TK let him. Because even a part of him couldn’t deny that it felt right with Carlos, it felt natural. It was a tug of war within TK, the desire to build his walls back up with cement and the desire to let Carlos in. And TK certainly didn’t expect to fall for the other man as quickly as he did.

That doesn’t change the fact that he still doesn’t know what he and Carlos are and where they stand. He felt a shift in their relationship in the couple of weeks prior to getting shot, with a lingering impression that this thing between them might be going somewhere.

Then a bullet to the chest gave TK a run for his money and halted all. It circles back to confusion for TK, about who he is, what he wants to do with his life. And all that confusion inevitably ties in with Carlos, and the nature of their relationship.

The fog of confusion had been growing more and more in the days after his hospital release, as TK began to doubt everything.

TK may not remember getting shot, but he certainly feels his life crumbling in the aftermath.

So yeah, he wasn’t exactly sure how Carlos was going to respond to his request. And he couldn’t really make an educational guess either. He knows Carlos has a kind heart and a warm soul, but everyone has lines and limits, and TK isn’t sure where inviting himself over to Carlos’s place falls on the officer’s. He prays he hadn’t crossed either.

But Carlos is safety, and TK will hold onto that for as long as he can.

TK doesn’t have to wonder about Carlos’s response for much longer because another ping brings him back from his thoughts.

Carlos: [11:26 PM] Of course. I’ll leave the front porch light on.

TK feels a weight lifted off his chest. A small smile tugs on the corner of his lips as he types back a reply.

TK: [11:26 PM] Thanks. I’ll be there in 20.

After throwing on a hoodie and sneakers, TK orders an Uber and waits outside. The car arrives in a matter of minutes, and he finds himself heading to Carlos’s in under five minutes from sending the last text. He sends a message to his father this time, telling him that he’ll be at Carlos’s place.

Carlos is wearing a black t-shirt and grey sweats when he opens the door for TK. He smiles, stepping to the side to let the firefighter in and locking the door behind him.

TK lingers close, hands stuffed into the pocket on the front of his hoodie as he shifts his weight from one foot to the other, bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet, nervous as he watches the officer.

“Would you like anything? Food or water?” Carlos asks TK once he’s sure everything is locked and the lights are turned off.

“No, thanks, I’m good,” TK replies. “Thanks for letting me come over. Sorry if it was a weird request, I just—”

“TK, it’s okay. You’re welcome here anytime, and I’m glad you reached out,” Carlos’s smile widens a little, reaching his captivating brown eyes.

TK reciprocates, albeit with a smaller smile than Carlos’s and then his eyes go a little wide when Carlos extends his hand towards him.

“I was about to get into bed,” Carlos explains, his face soft.

TK nods and takes Carlos’s hand, letting the slightly larger man lead them up the stairs. The warmth radiating from Carlos’s tough helps calm TK’s racing heart, the touch grounding him and offering comfort. The comfort he was searching for.

TK unconsciously tightens his grip on Carlos’s hand, trying to hold onto that support for as long as he could. Carlos gives him a quick look over his shoulder, and something in his features tells TK he’ll have it for as long as he wants.

They enter Carlos’s bedroom, separating their connection as the officer walks over to his preferred side of the bed. TK makes his way to the other, tipping off his shoes and removing his hoodie. Carlos pulls the duvet back, plugs his phone into the charger and climbs into bed. TK watches him for a few moments before following, crossing his legs on the mattress, sitting criss-crossed now and drops his hands into his lap.

“You okay?”

TK shrugs.

“Have you been sleeping at all since you got home from the hospital?” Carlos asks, having noticed the black bags hanging under TK’s eyes and the exhaustion written on his face.

“Few hours every night,” TK whispers.

“TK…” Carlos sighs.

“I know,” TK looks at Carlos. “But I just can’t sleep.”

Carlos’s response is interrupted by TK’s phone pinging in his pocket.

He fishes it out of his sweats and reads the new text.

“It’s from my dad,” TK says. “I told him I was coming here so he doesn’t worry.”

“And?” Carlos wonders, suddenly nervous himself about Owen’s reaction.

“He said okay and to call or text him if I need anything,” TK answers.

“He’s not surprised,” Carlos states rather than questions.

“No,” TK chuckles weakly. “He knows, about…” he makes a back and forth gesture between him and Carlos with a hand. “He kind of put one and one together. Asked me about it when I woke up. Not directly, though.”

Carlos raises an eyebrow at TK, intrigued about that conversation between father and son.

TK playfully rolls his eyes. “So, he’s been seeing this Psychology professor, head of the department actually and he didn’t mention anything before. And she was at the hospital with him when I woke up. Later I ask how long he’s been seeing her, and he said he’ll tell me when I tell him how long I’ve been seeing the cop. His words.”

Carlos winces slightly, but still a slight blush colors his cheeks. “Yeah, that’s on me. I stopped by after you were out of the surgery.” With tear-stained cheeks goes unsaid.

TK nods. “Yeah, dad mentioned. That’s how he connected the dots.”

“I’m sorry if that made it uncomfortable or anything, or if you weren’t ready for your dad to know about…I just wanted to see you. I was getting updates from Paul but it wasn’t the same,” Carlos confesses.

“No, no,” TK shakes his head. “Not at all. I get it, don’t worry about that. I…wanted you there.”

“I was just…really glad to hear your voice when you called,” Carlos expresses, his voice gentle.

TK gives him a small smile. He had called Carlos after he woke up, and the cop’s heart had soared and the fear lifted upon hearing his name tumble out of TK’s mouth once again. Perhaps his favorite time TK had said his name since they’ve known each other. Carlos stopped by the house once TK was settled in, and now is the second time they’re seeing each other since TK was sent home.

They don’t bring up their relationship status or what they are, both sensing that the other is tired and drained and it’s not really the time or place for said conversation. TK knows they’ll eventually have to talk about it, but for now, he’s satisfied just being close to Carlos. They can deal with the rest later.

“You can sleep, I don’t want to keep you up,” TK speaks. “I’ll probably be up for a while.”

Carlos shakes his head. “I’ll stay up with you. I don’t need to be up early, I have tomorrow off.”

TK gives him a grateful smile in response, happy for the company as they slip into comfortable silence.

It’s Carlos who breaks the quiet. He lifts his arm for TK while moving closer to the firefighter.

“Come here,” Carlos murmurs, an invitation which TK accepts.

TK gets closer to Carlos, and careful about his stitches, glues his side to Carlos’s. He rests his head against Carlos’s shoulder and Carlos wraps an arm around TK’s. Carlos runs his hand up and down TK’s arm, to help sooth and relax the injured man.

“So, there’s something I’ve been thinking about,” TK begins. “Since I got home. My insomnia is definitely related to what happened, falling into the pattern of it getting worse with stressful situations. I can’t remember a thing from getting shot, no nightmares or anything but I keep thinking about the kid.”

Carlos tightens his hold on TK, more instinctively than anything else. And TK’s words take him back to that night.

Carlos could immediately tell it was Judd speaking, his words echoing through the radio, the Texan firefighter’s usually steady tone laced with panic as he reported, dispatch, we have shots fired, firefighter down, I repeat firefighter down…and Carlos will never forget how his heart dropped into his stomach, his gut twisting and turning and there was no way he’d know who was down from the team, not yet, but it’s almost like he sensed it. Like he felt it. He had already driven away from the house and it took every ounce of his control to not take the first u-turn and race towards the hospital.

And when his phone had continuously vibrated in his pocket, Carlos’s heart sped up in his chest, fearing that his gut was right. The caller ID was all the confirmation he needed.

“Is he okay? He’s not…” Carlos had wasted no time after answering Paul’s call, trailing off, not even daring to utter the last word in his thought process. Because if TK was okay, he’d be the one calling him or would have sent him a text.

TK’s voice seeps into his ears and brings him back to the present, Carlos’s grasp on the younger man never faltering or loosening. He knows they both need it.

“That poor kid,” TK continues. “I can’t even imagine what he’s going through. I can’t even remember and I’m struggling with it, how heavy this must be for a little boy…”

Carlos leans in, closing the distance between them by brushing a kiss to TK’s temple. He then drops his head a little, touching his forehead to where he planted the kiss. TK leans into Carlos a little more, as much as he can without pulling at his stitches.

“I want to go see him, the kid,” TK reveals. “I think it’s going to help him, to see that I’m okay and to know that I don’t blame him.”

Carlos pulls back to watch TK, and he notices how his green eyes are glassy with unshed tears.

“That’s very thoughtful and kind, TK,” Carlos softly speaks. “I think you should, too. And I also think it’s going to help you, as well.”

TK turns to face Carlos.

“You’re healing from something you don’t remember happening,” Carlos says. “That in itself is taking a toll on you, it’s tough to deal with. But I think seeing that boy is going to help you come to terms with what happened. I think it’s going to make that weight sitting on your shoulders lighter.”

TK draws in a deep breath at Carlos’s declaration, letting his words sink in and just then realizing how much he needed to hear them.

Without a word, TK cuddles closer to Carlos, resting his head above the officer’s heart and draping an arm over his waist. He closes his eyes, taking even breaths guided by Carlos’s steady heartbeat.

“Do you think it will come back to me? That I’ll remember it?” TK asks, his voice barely above a whisper.

“Maybe,” Carlos replies. “Only time will tell.”

“I don’t want to feel this pain again if I do remember it one day,” TK swallows against his throat.

“I can’t promise that you won’t feel the pain,” Carlos admits with sadness coating his voice. “But I can promise that I’ll be right here for you. You’re not alone, TK.”

TK sniffs, a tear rolling down his cheek.

He wants to stay here and not move, engulfed in Carlos’s arms, his touch, his scent. In Carlos’s safety. In his heart.

He hears Carlos’s voice from above.

“Get some rest, TK.”

And contradictory to his earlier statement, TK is already drifting off, his mind calm and heartbeat even. He finally feels at peace.

The kiss Carlos presses to the top of his head is the last thing TK feels before falling asleep.

And for the first time since he was discharged from the hospital, TK sleeps through the night.

“Did we just give relationship advice?”

a/n: Hi lovelies! Omg this closes out the two weeks of Jinnie! This fic is kind of just a slow subtle one that shows Jin and Poopsie’s growth as a couple. When Jungkook has a fight with his girlfriend, and he calls Jin and Poopsie for help. That’s really is, that’s the drabble. As always I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading! :))

LYING on your side atop your bed, you brushed through your boyfriend’s hair with your fingertips, the man telling you all about his stressful day at work.

He had come into the room not even five minutes ago, returning from the studio, falling onto the mattress and immediately taking refuge against your body. His head was resting against your stomach, his words muffled against your clothing, with his arm slung over your hip.

“They changed so much of the choreography,” he complained, you frowning in response. “It’s just-” he groaned in frustration. “I just barely starting getting the moves down and then they changed a bunch.”

You hummed, continuing to sweep your fingers through his strands. “I’m sorry, my love,” you sympathized with him.

Letting out a sigh, he nuzzled further against you. “I’m just tired.”

“Go to sleep,” you told him gently, flattening your hand against the side of his head, lightly scratching his scalp in hopes of helping him relax.

“I won’t,” he lazily protested.

Giggling, you peered down at him. “Why not?”

“I will not,” he said again, adamant.

“Ok, but why?” You asked through your light laughter.

“I’m cuddling my woman,” he told you, you scoffing, but fond.

“You can cuddle me when you’re sleeping,” you noted, Jin shaking his head.

“Nah uh,” he mumbled, looking up at you just as his phone dinged, notifying him of a text. The phone was out of his reach but within yours, so you grabbed the device off the pillow and held it out for him. “Who is it?”

Looking at the screen, you read, “JK,” out loud, dragging out the “ayyy” sound to mimic the way Jungkook and the members jokingly say it.

“Ah, I spent all day with that kid, what does he want?” Jin teased. “Read it to me.”

Unlocking his phone, you cleared your throat in a mock professional manner, pretending to make an important announcement. Jin chuckled tiredly at your act, but as your eyes scanned over the message you sat up a little straighter, dropping your fun attitude.

“They had a fight,” you said, Jin craning his neck to look up at you with confusion. “Hypothetically speaking, what the fuck are you supposed to do when you just had the biggest fight you’ve ever had with your girlfriend and she asks you to leave?” You read, Jin sitting up in response to the message.

Taking the phone from you, he read over the words himself, you leaning over to rest your chin on his shoulder as you read the message again. You watched as Jin typed out “What happened?”

The three dots signaling Jungkook’s incoming reply was instant.

JK: Long story short, I’m an asshole who doesn’t let my girlfriend relax or breathe.

Your eyebrows scrunched together as you read the message, Jin looking to you with the same confusion etched into his features. “Ask him where he is,” you nodded to the phone, Jin quickly typing the message.

The dots were instant again.

JK: The dorm. Should I be here?

JK: I’m freaking out, I don’t want to lose her.

Jin looked to you, you staring at the phone. “What should we do?”

You thought for a moment before looking up at Jin with sad eyes, your boyfriend having to hold back the small smile that tugged at his lips due to your concerned expression.

“Would you be mad if I said we should go over there and talk to him?” You asked, Jin letting the smile form, accompanied by a small chuckle.

“I would be shocked if you said anything else, love,” he noted, you scrunching your nose before biting his shoulder lightly in embarrassment of your softness for these boys. “Hey,” Jin complained cutely, gently wiggling his shoulder. You watched as he typed, “We’ll be there in a bit. You’re going to have to tell us what happened.”

The dots appeared quickly again.

JK: Both of you?

“I don’t have to be there if he doesn’t want me to be,” you told Jin. He typed out, “Is that ok?” Both of you understood Jungkook didn’t necessarily like opening up, especially when it came to his insecurities.

Jin leaned toward you to place a kiss to your temple, you leaning into the touch of his lips on your skin.

“You’re too sweet, you know that?” He complimented, you groaning in response. Jungkook’s message came in and you both looked to the screen, Jin letting out a small laugh at the message.

JK: Preferred actually.

“I swear, I raised the kid and he still likes you more,” Jin playfully complained, you giggling as you patted his thigh.

“Keep trying, maybe one day you’ll be the favorite,” you jokingly boasted, Jin scoffing as you both stood to go see your favorite youngen.

Making your way inside the dorm, you both looked around at the empty dorm. Everyone was with their girlfriends, well and Tae was with whatever his “Peaches” is to him. You both approached Jungkook’s bedroom quickly, you gently knocking on the door as Jin called out a “JK.”

The door swung open and the image of the man was devastating. His eyes were red and glistening, not with his usual sparkle. He sniffled as he looked at you both before turning away and making his way to his bed. You and Jin both watched as he sat down before your boyfriend stepped inside the room, you following behind.

Jin stayed standing, looking around the bedroom for a moment as you made your way to sit next to Jungkook.

“Kookie, what happened?” You asked gently, Jin’s eyes quickly looking to you and his younger member as you both awaited Jungkook’s response.

The boy took a moment to pull his thoughts and emotions together before letting out a huff. “I don’t even know.”

As you watched Jungkook carefully, your eyes scanning over his features, observing the emotions expressed in way he chewed on the inside of his lip, the bounce of his leg, and how the tears started forming in his eyes, gathering along his bottom eye lid, Jin’s eyes were on you.

Jungkook stared at the floor in front of him, almost in a daze and you were sure he was replaying the fight in his head.

“Jungkook,” you spoke softly, leaning forward to place yourself in his peripheral. His head snapped to you for a brief moment before he averted his gaze to his hands.

“We were both moody and stressed and she was writing an essay but I was acting like an ass and trying to get her attention and then it just escalated,” he explained.

“Escalated how?” Jin asked from a few feet away, both you and Jungkook looking toward your boyfriend.

Watching him stand there, his face full of concern as he attempted to understand the conflict was only making you fall more in love with the man. His protective nature for those he loves and his desire to support those closest to him was not only something you loved about him but also something you admired.

It was a bittersweet moment, falling more in love with someone while another person you loved was experiencing some of his first heartbreak.

“She said she feels like I hold her to a standard of perfection and she’s scared of ruining that,” he said sadly, a tear slipping down his face as he wiped it away, sniffling again. “She has a fear that if she shows me imperfection, I won’t love her anymore.”

“Did she say how she got that impression?” You asked, Jin stepping forward before taking a seat on the floor below you and Jungkook.

“I praise her for being perfect and I nag,” he said simply, taking a deep breath.

“Even if you do praise her for certain things, you still love her completely,” Jin commented, you nodding.

“Yeah, it’s not like you don’t love the imperfections,” you added.

“She doesn’t feel that though,” Jungkook pointed out, his face contorting as his emotions began taking over.

“Oh, Kookie,” you cooed, wrapping your arms around him as he cried against your shoulder. “Have you two ever talked about this stuff before?”

Jungkook shook his head against your shoulder, you looking to Jin sadly. He gave you a sad expression, taking a deep breath.

“Jungkook,” your boyfriend called out, pulling the younger man’s eyes to him, you watching the interaction carefully. “Have you ever opened up to her?” Jungkook looked at his older friend for a moment before Jin clarified. “I mean, have you ever told her about your insecurities or the things that sit in your mind that you can’t really push away?”

Jin and Jungkook’s relationship was always so teasing and playful that you sometimes forgot how observant they were of each other’s habits and struggles. You watched the two men intently as Jin’s gaze stayed on Jungkook’s, the younger man thinking about the question.

“I don’t want her to have to deal with all of that,” Jungkook noted quietly, sitting up. You moved your hand to sit on top of his shoulder as you massaged the spot soothingly. Jin gave Jungkook a knowing look. “She said I’m always ok and that makes her feel like she can’t falter.”

“But you’re not always ok,” Jin commented. “Of course you’re not.”

Jungkook let out a breath of air at the comment, shaking his head.

“Do you want her to know that side of you?” You asked. “The side that’s not ok?”

Jungkook’s next breath was shaky as he nodded.

“You have to open up to her,” Jin told his friend. “She’s not going to feel comfortable showing you all of her and in her worst moments if you don’t do the same.”

Jungkook’s gaze was frozen on Jin as he mulled over the words.

“There’s strength in vulnerability,” you told him, both Jungkook and Jin looking to you, Jungkook’s eyebrows pulling together as if he was realizing something, Jin’s face being overtaken by a small smile. “I think it’s normal to worry about being a burden when you share your burdens with others. But she’s choosing you and your burdens. Let her be there for you.”

The words you advised Jungkook with were all too familiar to Jin, the man having to hold back his growing smile. They were very similar to the words and sentiment he had spoken to you several times throughout your relationship.

“You don’t have to protect her. All you’re really doing is keeping you both from connecting and having that person who just gets you. You two could have that,” you finished, Jungkook nodding slowly as he gained control over his emotions, looking more determined rather than broken.

“Did she kick you out?” Jin suddenly asked, Jungkook shaking his head.

“No, she was finishing her essay and said she wanted to talk later,” he told you both, you and Jin both nodding.

“Go back tonight,” Jin told him. “Whenever you feel is best, you know her. But show her you care enough to come back and figure it out.”

Jungkook nodded, stretching his arms out in front of him, looking visibly calmer and more in control.

“Are you good?” Jin asked, Jungkook giving a single nod of assurance. “You’re going back tonight?” Another nod. “Ok,” Jin chuckled slightly. “You two will be just fine, JK.”

“You will be,” you assured him, Jungkook turning to give you an appreciative smile.

“Ok, we’re gonna go,” Jin announced, you standing up from the bed, Jin holding his hand out in a silent plea for you to help him stand. You took his hand, attempting to pull him up though he was no help at all, giving you dead weight to tease you, you giggling as you tugged and strained.

Jungkook let out a small scoff mixed with a laugh, watching you both in slight amusement. Finally, Jin helped you help him to stand, you rolling your eyes when he wrapped his arm around your shoulders.

“Let us know how it goes,” you told Jungkook before pushing against your boyfriend’s waist to get him to move toward the exit.

“I will,” Jungkook muttered, watching you both walk away. “Thank you, guys,” he told you both genuinely, but in embarrassment as Jin prepared to tease him, you already sighing.

“Looks like I’m still raising you,” Jin smiled jokingly, you and Jungkook both groaning. Jungkook let his back fall to the mattress, holding up a hand as he shooed his hyung away, Jin’s squeaky laughter resonating in the room before you pushed him out through the exit.

“Go get your girl,” you yelled out to Jungkook before shutting his bedroom door.

The car heater was on low, the hum of a playlist echoing through the cab. Jin had one hand on the steering wheel, the other reaching across the console to rest atop your thigh casually. He hummed slightly to ‘Easy’ by Mac Ayres, you simply listening peacefully.

Suddenly, Jin’s humming was interrupted by a small breathy chuckle. Looking over at him, you observed his smile, a smile of your own forming.

“Did we just give relationship advice?” You asked, Jin smiling even wider in amusement of your question.

“Crazy, right?” He prompted, you staring at him from across the car.

“Wild,” you responded, resting the side of your head against the headrest as you continued to watch your boyfriend. “Look how far we’ve come, my love.”

Jin looked over at you, a soft expression on his face as he squeezed your thigh. “Who would have ever though we had it in us.”

You were even more motivated than ever to get ready for that blind date. Your fight with Yoongi from 4 hours ago was still fresh in your mind. You needed to get your mind off of things, and this date provided the perfect escape. You looked down at your phone that flashed with a new message.

After ripping through every dress in your closet, you finally settled on going for a sleek, deep wine-coloured, silk gown that hugged your curves, but also loosely flowed to your feet. A slit ran down your left thigh up to your ankles through which your black lingerie stocking was sticking out. Yes, you’d chosen black lingerie for the night. It was the one you felt most confident in. Your hair was pinned into a simple, elegant, low bun, some loose strands of hair framing your face. You wore a simple chain choker, some elegant bracelets, shiny black pumps, and tiny pearls on your ears. Your lips were tinted in a gorgeous wine-shade, and your eyes were lined with a black liner. You knew your bear arms would feel cold, but you felt confident in your looks for once. But sadly this much reminded you of how your mother would dress. You pushed all these thoughts aside and grabbed your clutch, before you could make a tardy first impression.

You stood before the building, drinking in the beauty of the exterior. You weren’t too surprised as you had worked at a 5-star restaurant for the majority of your life, but you were fairly nervous as you had never been on the receiving end of such ambience, ever since you had run away from your family’s wealth when you were 16.

You walked in and were immediately greeted, “Good evening ma’am, how may I help you?”

“Ummm… I have a reservation for two under the name Mr. Kim?”

“Okay, I’ll check that for you.”

You looked around and observed the luxurious decor of the place while the hostess went through the registry. She finally cleared her throat and spoke up, “Yes ma’am, Mr. Kim has been here for 2 minutes already, if you follow me, I shall take you to your seat.” She said smiling.

Your palms start sweating as you follow the hostess to your table. Why were you so nervous? Was it because he was rich? Was it because he’d treated you to such a fancy place just for a blind date? Was it because you were afraid to break it to him how you were only expecting to have a good time, and not a committed relationship?

Your brain most definitely started malfunctioning when you saw the hostess motion you towards a man sitting at what you presumed was your table. You took small strides as you made your way over to the intimidating man. He pulled back your chair for you and seated himself in front of you.

And when your friends said this man was devilishly handsome, they weren’t exaggerating. His skin was clear and almost glowing. He was dressed in a fitted black blazer and trousers to match, along with a classic white button down underneath. His eyes were deep and intriguing, making you want to sit and stare into them all day. His lips were perfectly curved and looked inviting. You noticed two cute moles, one below his lip, and the other below his nose. His hair was a gorgeous jet black and was gelled back. A single strand cascaded on his forehead making him look even more suave. His poise held confidence, his shoulders held high, which seemed intimidating enough to you.

“Good evening Miss. Y/N.”

You thought his looks had attacked you enough. But that wasn’t the end of it. It’s when he spoke that you melted. His voice made goosebumps travel down your spine. What had you gotten yourself into? There’s no way this man was going to give you just a night of fun! What was Jackie thinking?

“G-Good evening Mr. Kim.” You said trying to cope with his formalism.

“Can we drop the act?” he asks, your eyes widening in surprise.

“Pardon?”

“I meant I know I’m intimidating, but like this is a bit much isn’t it?”

“Wha… but you…”

“Jackie said, and I quote, ‘You got money right? Flaunt it!’.” He says smiling.

“Oh god.” You say trying to hold back a smile and failing.

“Sometimes I wonder how Mark tolerates her.” He says giggling.

“They do love each other a lot.” You say sighing.

“Hey ummm… Y/N?” he says.

“Yeah?”

“Wanna get out of here?” he asks, eyes shining.

You were sweating and panting as you held onto his shoulders.

“Taehyung, go slower, you’re killing me!” you yell out.

“Jeez what are you? 60?” he scoffs.

“Ayy you try walking in my heels!” you roll your eyes.

You were both currently walking up the stairs to an old skating rink that overlooked the entire city. Taehyung held a takeout bag with 2 simple diner style burgers in them, while his other hand was clasping yours, helping you get up the last flight of stairs. You finally reached the spot he told you about and gasped at the sight you saw. You could see the entire skyline from here and it was a gorgeous sight to enjoy while eating the perfect comfort food.

You both sat down and Taehyung handed you your dinner. “I much prefer these burgers than some expensive ass Pacific Bluefin tuna.” He says with a mouthful of food.

“I’m surprised at how humble you are.” You say sincerely.

“Yeah, the key is to never forget your roots.”

“Sometimes people need to forget their roots…” you whisper unconsciously.

“What?” he asks.

“Uhh… the burgers are delicious.”

“I know right? Mark doesn’t like them.”

“Well Mark can go jump off a cliff.”

“I couldn’t agree more.” He said smiling wide, as you admire his beautiful smile.

“To be honest I never thought you’d be such a breath of fresh air when I first saw you.”

“I tend to leave such a first impression.”

“Umm… actually… I just wanted to clarify.” You say as you finish your burgers. “I don’t wanna lead you on. I’m not looking for anything serious.”

“Well you’re lucky, because I’m not either. I tend to travel a lot. And I tend to fool around here and there and not stay emotionally grounded with anyone.” He says shrugging.

“I hate commitment too. I just like to have a fun time.” You murmur.

“Want me to show you a fun time?” he asks smirking.

30 minutes later, you were back against the wall of your apartment, as your lips were engulfed by Taehyung’s. His tongue felt hot, clashing against the walls of your mouth, as you shamelessly moaned into the kiss. His blazer had long been discarded on your floor, and your hands were tangled in his soft black hair. His hands roamed on your body rather daringly. His hands travelled up the length of your leg, causing goosebumps across the skin of your exposed thigh. His long fingers gripped around the meat of your thighs before he lifted you up. You wrapped your legs around his waist and gripped onto his shoulders to balance yourself.

The kiss was sloppy and heated with none of you willing to stop for breath. His hands undid your hair and let your curls fall around your shoulders. His fingers thread through your long locks and he pulled on your hair, biting your lip as he broke the kiss. “You’re gorgeous.” He murmured shakily. You gave him a sly smirk and pulled his neck, connecting your lips again. He broke apart again, and stared into your eyes. His deep brown orbs were completely blown out, drowning in lust, and you were sure you matched it with the same darkness in your eyes. His voice was breathless as he said, “Why is the god damn zipper so tiny?”

You couldn’t help but giggle at his urgency. “What’re you laughing about?” he asks furrowing his eyebrows.

“It’s just you sound like those guys who struggle with a bra clasp and end up giving up in frustration.” You laugh out loud.

“Oh I’m not giving up. You best believe I’m getting that god damn dress off of you.” He says, his voice husky.

He turned you around and dropped you on your bed. He climbed over you, his leg landing between your thighs, his hands working on taking off your dress. He devoured your lips with an almost animalistic hunger when he’d finally exposed your lingerie to him.

Your chest was heaving as you stared up at the white ceiling fan. You had a déjà vu from about 2 weeks ago, from one of the many nights with Yoongi, where you had watched him leave after satisfying both your needs. You turned your head to see Taehyung’s angelic face next to you, as you catch his eyes already on you.

“Why’re you staring at me like that?” you ask smiling.

“I’ve slept with a lot of people ‘for fun’. But trust me when I say I’ve never wanted to stay back and cuddle as much as I do with you.” He says sighing.

“Don’t fall in love with me Kim.” You say rolling your eyes.

“It’s next to impossible, but I’ll try.” He says sarcastically, receiving a playful nudge from you in response.

“Pillow talk has never been part of my routine…” you speak out, sincerity lacing your tone.

“Me too…” he whispers and what he does next shocks you. He places his head on your chest, his face burying into the crook of your neck, and his arms wrap around your waist, sending shivers across your bare skin.

“W-What’re you doing?”

“Don’t think about it too much, just relax.” He huffs out, his breath running against your warm neck.

You relax under his touch and involuntarily find your hands wrapping around his head as you nuzzle him closer. You let out a shaky breath as this reminds you too much of your college boyfriend. “Do you have to leave tomorrow?” you ask in a daze.

“Sorry but yes… but I have a feeling I’m not gonna lose contact with you like I do with other people I sleep with…” he said smiling.

“Me too…” you say letting your tired eyes flutter shut.

You wake up to a different sound everyday it seems. Today you woke up to the sound of what sounded like empty plastic bottles falling. Your eyes met with Taehyung’s, who came stumbling out of the washroom. “Sorry if I woke you up, I accidently dropped the shampoo bottles on your counter.”

“No it’s okay.” You say smiling as you got up and put on your robe onto your naked form.

You watched Taehyung, as he was folding the sleeves of his white button down to his elbows. His hair cascaded over his forehead in a messy, but still intimidating manner. He looked up at you as he grabbed his coat. “Well I should get going, my driver’s downstairs.”

“Oh okay…” you murmur softly.

He walks up to you and lifts up your chin ever so lightly. You meet his warm smile and you instantly melt. He leans in and lands a soft kiss against your lips. “I left my number on a note on the night stand. Promise me, we’ll stay in touch.”

“Sure.” You say sighing, with a sad smile.

“Hey, I meant to be friends, not for just hooking up again…” he says chuckling lightly.

“Oh…” your eyes were wide.

“Well I have to go now, bye Y/N I had a great time…” he says walking away, his hand slipping from your hold.

You watched as he left your place, and you went to take a shower. Somehow this time when you heard the familiar click of the door, you didn’t feel hurt. Even though Taehyung was gone, you didn’t feel sad. Did it have anything to do with the affection he had shown you, besides the lustful sin you had committed?

Yoongi walked up the stairs of your building. His hair was a mess, his eyes were swollen from not getting enough sleep. He didn’t like the way he had yelled at you yesterday. He wasn’t in the right mind and he was just angered when you had told him that the memories he held dearest to his heart were a mistake. He finally reached your floor at 9 am in the morning, hoping he could resolve a few unspoken issues. Confrontation was always Yoongi’s go-to method.

But Yoongi stopped in his tracks when he saw a man with tussled dark hair close the door to your apartment. He could only assume the worst by the sight in front of him. The man passed by Yoongi, bowing out of courtesy on his way to the stairs. All his obsessive thoughts started coming back to him. Maybe you didn’t want to go back to being friends. Maybe you should stick to the deal you had made. The slight bit of confidence Yoongi had when he was making his way to meet you was wiped away as he turned on his heel and made his way towards the exit.

He needed some time. You needed some time. Alone.

The next whole week had gone by in a blur. Yoongi was procrastinating on whether or not to talk to you, ultimately deciding against it. You had continued to ignore Yoongi’s presence in your workplace the whole time. He didn’t walk you home every night since. You had also begun texting Taehyung from time to time, and you both had settled on being just friends, since you learned you both much enjoyed each other’s goofy side. Your life was in a constant loop, going to work, ignoring Yoongi, reaching home, and sleeping, only to repeat the same schedule every other day of the week.

But today was a bit different. It was a Saturday night, and tonight was important for you, and every other employee. Tonight, all the heads and managers of the other branches of this ambiguous chain of luxury restaurants, were here to dine. Along with the CEO of this chain. You knew you were a waitress, but you had assisted in cooking tons of times before. Tonight they had all the experienced heads, like you assist in cooking, while they assigned the newly trained rookies as hosts and hostesses. You were all told to be super attentive and to make your nerves worse, you were being supervised by your head chef and manager Kim Seokjin.

But the timing was completely wrong. Today your thoughts about your personal life were unnecessarily heightened. Seeing Yoongi working his fingers across the monochrome keys of the sleek black piano, he himself being dressed in an all-black suit and shirt tailored to be strained across his firm chest, was extremely distracting. You tossed the meat into the pan, aware of the powerful gaze of Seokjin standing in the corner of the kitchen.

You tried to vaporize the alcohol by doing a simple flambé. You had done it tons of times before. You tilted the pan so the fire could catch the alcohol and a flame could erupt in your pan. But your mind being lost elsewhere you were shocked when the flame came on, and failed to move out of the way in time, burning your exposed forearm in the process. You yelped in surprise and pain as Maya took the pan from you for relief.

“Chef, focus! This is no time to slack!” Seokjin’s voice rang through the loud kitchen.

You huffed in annoyance and took the pan back from Maya explaining to her you’re okay, and began tossing the meat, ignoring the searing pain in your arm and the mark that was beginning to darken. As soon as all the dishes were made, you were given a 5 minute breather, till you waited for new customers to arrive. You stood in the corner, your hands cupping the burn on your hand in pain. You looked up in surprise when you heard a slam on the table in front of you. You watched Seokjin walk away, as you looked down at the ice pack he had left for you on the table. You couldn’t help but land a small smile as you iced the burn on your arm.

It wasn’t 10 minutes later, and you were already pan frying zucchinis and slicing cherry tomatoes. Your break had barely lasted 2 minutes, before you had been called in to make a very important dish for the CEO’s family which had just arrived. “Move it! Move it! We don’t want to keep Mr. Kang waiting!” you heard Seokjin clap his palms together.

What didn’t help your sense of urgency and added to the pressure was Yoongi entering the kitchen, as he stood in the corner having a chat with Seokjin. You knew that they were close, but you never knew Yoongi was close enough to lay a hand on Seokjin’s shoulder like that. You immediately placed the dish onto the counter, your mind distracted by Yoongi’s presence.

Before you knew it there was a sharp call of your name leaving Seokjin’s lips. “CHEF Y/N?!”

You rushed towards the counter, scared out of your wits. You watched as Yoongi’s eyes met yours in a sense of panic. “Y-Yes Mr. Kim?”

“DID YOU DROWN THIS SALMON IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND PLACE IT ON THE CEO’S PLATE?”

“N-No sir…”

“IT’S SALTIER THAN THE BOTTOM OF THE PACIFIC! YOU KNOW WHAT COULD’VE HAPPENED IF WE SEND THIS PLATE OUT? YOUR HEAD IS NOT IN THE GAME CHEF! WE DON’T HAVE ROOM FOR AMATEURS IN THIS ESTABLISHED CHAIN!”

“I-I’m sorry sir…” you said trying not to let the humiliation get to you.

“You are one of my trusted employees so this is a warning, but if this happens again, I’m gonna have to let you go, you understand that chef?” Seokjin finally calms down and says.

“Y-Yes sir…” you feel everyone’s eyes on you.

“Retire for the night chef. You’re too distracted. We’ll fill in with someone else. You can leave.” Seokjin announces before leaving the kitchen. You take off your apron and before any of the others can ask you any questions, you stride out the back door. You sit down on your heels in the dark alley and hold your head and pull on your hair in frustration.

Damn you Min Yoongi.

Your cheeks stained with long gone tears, you held a cigarette up to your lips, as you tried to calm yourself down. You heard the door to the kitchen creak open.

“Don’t try to ask me if I’m okay Jackie because frankly I’m n—” you speak out without looking.

“The name’s Yoongi, Min Yoongi. Not Jackie.” A low voice echoes down the walls of the alley.

All you can do is let out a huff of frustration and crush your cigarette under your shoe. “What do you want from me?”

“I don’t want anything from you… just wanted to check on you…”

“Since when do you care about my feelings?” you ask rhetorically, not expecting an answer.

“Since last month I suppose, since when we walked to your apartment that night.” His straight forward answer surprises you.

“What are we doing Yoongi?! What the hell is going on with us?!” you ask frustration lacing your tone. “We’re supposed to be fuck buddies. And we haven’t even had sex in 2 weeks! And before I know it, we’re sharing deep secrets with each other and talking to each other like we’ve known each other for years, and kissing each other like we’re in love—”

“Because I am in love.”

Yoongi stops your little rant and shocks you with his words. You weren’t expecting such a direct answer to leave his mouth. You stood up, brushing out your skirt and muttered softly. “W-What?”

“You heard me. I’m in love.” He enunciates.

“But why?” you ask, oblivious. “I’m damaged goods. I’m toxic. We both are in a toxic relationship.”

“But I’m willing to work to fix that.” Yoongi says with soft eyes. “I want to fix that gaping hole that the bastard left in your heart 6 years ago.”

“Listen I really like you too, but I don’t want to… hurt you…”

“You would never intentionally do that…”

“I-I’m not ready…”

“I’ll be here for you when you’re ready. This is new to me too! We can work through it together, please Y/N just trust me.”

You sigh loudly. Before you could think you grabbed his collar and landed a kiss on his lips. He stumbled, but eventually his arms snaked around your waist, holding you so tight, afraid to let you go. You broke the kiss and looked into his beautiful deep brown orbs. “You really wanna do this?”

“Yes.” He smiles and lands a small peck on your cheek.

You smack his chest playfully and say, “You’re creeping me out, what happened to the Yoongi who could never even give me a straight compliment?”

“Well I’m afraid someone changed him…” Yoongi says after thinking.

“Oh really? Who may that special someone be?” you smirk playfully.

“This woman at work. I’ve known her for 4 years, but never got around to talking to her until about 2 months ago.” He says chuckling.

“Wow what a coward.” You scoff.

“Well I don’t care, because I proudly simp for her now.” He says, his precious gummy smile making a rare appearance.

You tug his collar, and smile as you look into his eyes. You lean in painfully slow, your breath ghosting his lips, but never coming close enough to touch them. “Quit playing me like that.” Yoongi whines making you giggle.

“Well maybe I should—”

“Miss. Y/N— oh sorry, please meet me inside, I need to have a word with you chef.” Seokjin says from behind the door.

You immediately shove Yoongi away and walk back into the restaurant, your cheeks on fire. “Yes sir?” you say once you’re inside facing him.

“I’d expect you to be a bit more professional. I didn’t peg you as the type of person to have a romantic rendezvous behind your workplace, but go off I guess.” He sighs. “Well getting to the point, I just wanted to say that, please maintain your work ethic. Your professionalism is something I’ve always respected, and something that made you stand out in this field. And I’d love to keep you in this kitchen, so please focus on your job.”

“Yes sir.” You say softly, feeling a bit relieved.

“And… I apologize for over reacting a while ago. I was not in the right head space. It’s just the CEO never stops pestering me on the tiniest details, and I wanted to prove him wrong, and show him that I can run this place. So if he received an overly salted plate, he would hold that against me my whole life.”

“I understand sir. You don’t need to apologize. I’ll be sure to maintain my work ethic and never make a careless mistake like that again.” You say smiling.

“Great. Well have a good night chef.” He says before bowing in courtesy and exiting the empty kitchen. You noticed that all the dishes had been done, so you went back to grab your coat and exited the restaurant to your new life waiting for you in the dark alley.

You were pretty sure you made the cab driver uncomfortable, but it’s nothing he hadn’t seen before. You both had long forgotten the sweet kisses and passionate hugs you guys had given each other merely 30 minutes ago, when you confronted each other, and now you were busy devouring each other’s lips, your tongues twisted in a feverish make out session.

You stumbled into a familiar apartment, not yours, but in fact Yoongi’s. It had been 3 weeks since you’d last been here. You wasted absolutely no time as you both hurriedly discarded all your clothes onto the floor. Yoongi gripped your hip, with enough force to bruise it, as he lifted your form across the house and dropped you onto his bed. You drank in the familiar scent of Yoongi’s sheets around you, and the sight of a hovering Yoongi above you. His eyes mirrored yours, drowning in lust. His hair was disheveled and he looked at you with hunger. His lips landed on your neck, as you tilted your head the other way to make room for him to explore as much as he could. His hands ran along your sides as your hands raked his back. Your eyes fluttered shut, as you let out an uncontrollable moan, when you felt his teeth nip into the skin at your collarbone. You felt his warm tongue lick the mark he had made on you, as he continued his way down your torso.

“You sure you wanna do this?”

“Bitch, we’ve fucked 15 times before!” you laugh out loud.

“Jeez woman, I’m out here trying to make it romantic, and you just rail me like that?”

“Just shut up and do it. I need you right now.” You whine, which seems to turn him on.

Your eyes flutter open and you’re surprised that you aren’t woken up by any displeasing noises. The sunlight partially blocked by the semi see-through blinds, cast a dim light in the room. You found your head resting on Yoongi’s chest, a soft rhythmic breath leaving his chest, sounding like music to your ears. Your hand laid across his naked chest, while his hand was wrapped around you, his palm laying across your bare back. You yawned and suddenly flinched when you felt Yoongi’s lips on your forehead.

“Good morning.” He said, his voice raspy and gruff.

“Good morning.” You reply smiling.

“I’ve never wanted to wake up next to someone this badly…” he sighs.

“Why’re you so cheesy? What happened to Yoongi? Who are you?”

“I don’t know Y/N… but I’m open to change.” He says smiling, looking down to meet your eyes.

You chuckle in response. You watch as his fingers run across your hand which is laying on his chest. His fingers brush your knuckles and he looks as though he’s in deep thought. “Where’s your ring?” he asks unconsciously.

“I took it off last night. It’s on your night stand.” You say smiling.

“Oh… well I hate to break it to you, and I know it’s a Sunday, but I booked us a brunch reservation at a nice café down the street.”

“You really didn’t have to…”

“But I did. We’ve been sleeping with each other for 2 months, and I haven’t taken you out on a proper date, like ever!”

“Well food does sound like a good idea, I’m starving.”

“Well then get your tiny tushie outta bed.” He says playfully pinching your cheek, and jumping out of bed to freshen up.

After you both had showered and gotten your clothes on, you were wearing your heels by the door, when Yoongi walked out of his bedroom, “You forgot this!” he says handing you your silver ring. His curious eyes watched, as you took the ring from him, and slipped it into your purse instead of putting it on your finger. “Come on let’s go.” You said grabbing his hand, unaware of the wide smile your bare hand had brought onto Yoongi’s face.

Brunch was delicious. And so was the dinner date you had a week later. 2 weeks had gone by, smooth sailing for your new relationship. Your fingers remained naked, no ring in trace, in the entirety of the last 2 weeks. It was a cold Friday night, and you were now sitting at the piano bench, in an empty restaurant. You glanced over your shoulder to see Yoongi’s eyes, focused on the keys in front of him. For once in a long time you could truly say you were happy. Your life was blissful.

“Y/N…?” Yoongi says interrupting your thoughts.

“Yeah?”

“Could you sing…?”

“Sure.” You said smiling, as you already knew which song he wanted you to sing. You cleared your throat as you begun the first verse of ‘My Heart Will Go On’.

There you both were, all alone, doing the things you loved, with the person you loved beside you, and you couldn’t have asked for more. No more did you feel lost. No more did you think of love as a myth. You had finally found someone to keep your heart safe, in this cruel world. And you couldn’t be happier, that your savior was Min Yoongi.

If you want something more specific I will never have enough serpent trench travel with Sabin and Celes in the World of Ruin. Give them chocobos and off they go. Figaro chocobos are also good. Chocobo anything.

Phantom Train: I have no particular thoughts here but what better exchange than Trick or Treat for the Phantom Train itself? Exploring more about it whether it's just it or throw characters at it. All cool.

Celes and Sabin: as stated I'm an absolute sucker for world of ruin travel with these two and anything more is good. That said if you want to focus on just one of them or one of them with someone else that's great too. I've only lumped them together for sake of convenience. Sabin in Figaro? Sabin with another here? Celes travels in the saved world?

Interceptor: Does he interact much with any of the rest of the party? Or... dog and chocobo... Or just you know can't go wrong with Interceptor and Relm things ever

Relm: Any interaction with anyone here. Leaning on her Sketch ability would be cool. Mimic paint off with Gogo?

Gogo: Gogo's just neat. More of them good.

This is coming off as Curse of Monkey Island-centric (it is my favourite) but it doesn’t have to be. It’s just because of the chickens… and Murray. But mainly chickens. Anytime from the previous games, or future or off to the side is good too.

There’s also an interesting connection between Elizant II and Leif I’d be interested in seeing more. Leif’s out of his time but holds memories of Elizant I. Elizant II is a more direct connection he’s otherwise lacking and it’s nice to see how his opinion of her shifts and grows as she grows.

And of course individually they’re interesting in their own roles and I’m always down for more.

Mueller: Of course anything with Olivier is good in my books. I’m running under the assumption that since he shows up with Olivier in the triumphant not-dead return, that he wound up at Valleria while Olivier recovered and I would be very soft for any moment taking placing during that time period. But when it comes to those two sky’s the limit. I’m good with platonic or ship. Mueller having some interaction with either Priscilla or Alfin would be great too!

Valimar: Given his history and knowledge it’d be interesting to see a conversation with Olivier or Alfin given also their family name Cedric’s positioning and, well, all the history there. Alternatively I love his interactions with Mint and how respectful of her he is, so anything between those two yes please. Or just something exploring him by himself in some way would be cool too.

Mint: I’m particularly interested in her during CS III and IV times and with Valimar as above. However, any Mint shenanigans is a fun time. She’s doing her best!

-Man radiates big bro energy, and if you don’t know it right now, you WILL know it when he takes you in his arms. They’re warm, strong and protective.

The kinds of hugs he tends to give vary between being playful or protective. If he’s feeling playful, he’d probably hug you from behind and murmur teasing, loving remarks in your ear. He’s particularly fond of nuzzling his cheek in your hair.

-Man’s also got big hands, great for holding your waist, along with other things mhmmm~ ;)) they’re great for making you feel even more secure than you normally would, and that’s saying a lot

-Great during Winters, but the Summer... welp. Run MC. Other than that though, he gives great bear hugs.

-He’s so huge, he literally dwarfs any and everything under that hugeass coat. TBH you’ll either hate it or love it, depending on how good your blood circulation is lmaooo

-Man likes giving back hugs when in a teasing mood, but when he’s feeling more romantic, he prefers you to be facing him. Odds are, he’ll be pulling you into his arms, hand tucking the back of your head into his chest.

-His bear hugs are reassuring, those broad arms and strong chest doing wonders in making you feel safe and secure. Depending on how tall you are, he’d pull you into his chest or the crook of his neck. ... And did I mention that chest? Damn Daddy.

-Odds are, he’s gonna smell like tobacco too. If you don’t like that sorta thing, that could be something of a turnoff. Man’s a giant too, so odds are you’re going to be an armrest half the time, rip.

-Like his personality, his hugs are playful and endearing. He LOVES cuddles and by Jove, if Arthur Conan Doyle wants cuddles, he WILL get cuddles.

-It’s practically canon that, like a puppy, he wants your attention on him ALL THE TIME. So eye contact is a must, lots of small kisses peppered across your face to make you laugh; your laughter never fails to make his heart skip a beat.

-Skinship is practically a requirement, it’s Arthur’s love language. Up there with gift giving.

-He loves holding your waist while breathing in your scent in the crook of your neck. He wants to be enveloped by you, your presence assures him more than anything. But that doesn’t mean the hugs are a one-sided thing, either.

-If in a particularly good mood, he’ll hum some random English tune while swaying you side to side. Sometimes, that swaying might evolve into a full-blown dance, with him twirling you around the mansion floor with laughter.

-With you, he always wants you to feel as good as you make him, for you bring out the best side of him.

-If he’s particularly excited, he’ll be playfully swinging you around after. You getting dizzy? Tooooo bad, maybe after a couple more minutes. As long as you don’t throw up, babe~

-Man may be a doctor but dammit, he has the right to cuddle his honey, too! Hmm, this sounds familiar. Must be a doctor thing.

=Nose boops and cheek rubs. All that disgustingly cheesy and playful shit that makes anyone watching gag from the diabetes.

-If he’s feeling mischievous enough, he might bury his nose into the crook of your neck to blow hot air on your skin to make you squirm. It never fails to make him giggle.

-His main focus is making you laugh and have a good time, nothing else matter.s He likes the way laughter makes your eyes crinkle juuust right~

MID-TIER HUGGERS

Dazai:

-A surprisingly decent hugger.

-One wouldn’t think him capable of giving hugs with such genuity and emotion, unless you were the person he were doing it to. These special hugs are especially private, reserved for the irreplacable person in Dazai’s life.

-Despite his appearances, he is a compassionate person deep down, and wants to see you happy. Especially as the one who taught him to care for his own life.

-Like Arthur, he likes making you laugh. With his arms encircling your middle from behind, he likes giving surprise tickles to make you squeak and jump, promting his own quiet chuckles. Your reactions never fail to amuse him.

-His hugs are literally breathtaking, because you’ll be too busy squirming with breathless laughter to escape out of his arms. It makes his eyes light up in a way that’s startlingly different from the smile he shows the others; the closest thing to a true smile.

-For more somber moments, he holds you like he’s never going to hold you again. You can feel how much he cherishes you with how gently but securely he embraces you. He likes doing it from behind so you don’t have to see the pained expression on his face as he holds your hand for comfort.

-The only real downside is that again these hugs are especially private, so no one else gets to see. A shame too, or not, depending on how you look at it. uwu

Isaac:

-Awkward Blushy Boi #1.

-Bc he’s so awkward and shy, his hugs are gonna be stiff af at first. He might not even respond at all, depending on how startled he is. Or how fast you let go of him

-If you do let go first, he’s gonna be lowkey highkey disappointed.

-Good thing is, because his hands are so used to delicate work, his touch is gentle and precise. So if you’re sensitive to physical sensations, he’ll pick up on that. If he does manage to brush against a sensitive area, expect a ton of stammered apologies and red cheeks.

-At first, his initial touches are shaky and unsure. But when he starts to gain confidence, his hands are curious and careful.

-Give him some time to let the hedgehog bristles come down a bit, and you’ve got yourself a teddy bear. Unfortunately, his hugs are going to remain awkward for some time bc-

-wHAT IF HE HOLDS YOU FOR TOO LONG, WOULD YOU GET ANNOYED??? DOES IT COME OFF AS TOO CLINGY, WHAT IF- ***incoherent anxious screaming into the void***

-Similarly to Isaac, he’s super standoffish at first, especially with the whole ‘don’t touch me, you’ll get dirty blah blah blah’ spiel sHUT UP AND LET ME LOVE YOU.

-Don’t expect him to ever initiate hugs, not at first. It’s a long work in progress with this man. But pls stick with him, he is so, so worth it.

-Jeanne isn’t a person that gives away affection lightly, so whenever he hugs you, expect him to mean it. You will be weak-kneed at the sheer compassion and warmth behind his actions, even through his gloves.

-But if you do ever hug him, even though it’s hesitant, he’ll never fail to hug you back bc he’s a soft boi that doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.

-Despite having the tendency to push people away,his hugs are gentle and protective. They let you know you’re safe and not alone. Giver #2 of great comfort hugs.

-Once he’s comfortable, he’ll like the feeling of your bare skin against his palms, so he’ll start hugging you with his gloves off.

-Develops a habit of gently rubbing his thumb across the back of your hand; he likes how small they feel in his own. It makes him feel protective, renewing his vow of keeping you safe.

-Unfortunately, he gets points deducted for never initiating contact at first, as well as his hugs being rather stiff for a long time.

Sebastian:

-Hugging? When you could be WORKING?? It’s more likely than you think.

-Man is normally reserved, and not one for physical contact. But his touch is surprisingly gentle and reassuring. Particularly if you’re feeling upset or stressed.

-He’s fond of back rubs and closeness as he’s holding you. Tucking your head under his chin, his hold is gentle but firm, reminding you of your good qualities and what he loves about you.

-Because he’s not as remarkable as the other men in the mansion, he might need some extra reassurance that he’s good enough for you. He’ll appreciate it if you rub his back, especially after a rough day.

-Under those gloves, his hands are rough and calloused from his work as a butler, but the way he embraces you couldn’t be more deliberate or careful.

-Sebastian considers you his little miracle, the fact that you came from the same timeline as him gives him a new level of comfort as a piece of home away from home.

-Despite his strictness during work, he makes sure you know how much you really mean to him. While he disapproves of PDA in front of the residents, he doesn’t mind sneaking a cuddle now and then... in privacy of course.

-But despite these qualities, the problem with Sebastian’s hugs is that they hardly get a chance to happen.

-Man is too busy working himself to death helping the mansion residents, and has an 18-hour work schedule everyday to spend time with you. Someone save him bls. You’ll be doing both of yourselves a favor.

LOW-TIER HUGGERS (I’m so sorry)

Theo:

-Ah yes, Hondje fetish man.

-Like his brusque personality, his grip may be a tad rough, but the way he holds you is protective and gentle. Likes holding the back of your head close to him, arm secure around your waist; he likes the feeling of you belonging to him

-Theo doesn’t really do comfort hugs. Unless your life was in danger or something, he’s much more likely to just pull you in when he feels like having cuddles hugs. Processing emotional depth greater than familial love is a bit of a learning curve for the man. He’s trying.

-His hold is possessive, but affectionate. He likes pulling you in close by the hip when in public; man claims he’s not big into PDA, but he’s proud of his girlfriend and WILL show that off, dammit.

-Also claims he’s not clingy, but he’ll hold onto you for as long as physically possible until he has to let go. So you’d better not be thinking of going anywhere Hondje, not when you have your Master to please. Yeah, sure ok sounds fake but ok.

-He doesn’t initiate hugs often, but he likes holding you in quiet moments when you’re alone. Not that he’ll admit that out loud. Like Vincent, he likes touching foreheads with yours to stare into your eyes. They’re like the perfect works of art to him, a masterpiece he can stare at for hours. He likes how expressive they are, the way they light up in so many different ways whether you’re happy, angry or excited.

-Honestly, despite the loving shit I give him, he’s only barely in this tier for a couple reasons. But one of them is that he’s not really an affectionate kind of hugger. Theo’s the kind of guy that expresses his love through uh... other physical means. If you catch my drift~ >3

-All in all, his hugs are protective and strong, but also a little rough. Perfect if you want to be assured of your relationship and loved, but not really recommended if you’re looking for something comforting and soothing.

-TLDR: His hugs are warm, but not versatile. Honest Tsunderes die if they are killed

Mozart:

-Awkward Blushy Boy #3. The holy trinity is complete.

-Unfortunately, I’m gonna have to rank Mo as the worst hugger of the mansion guys for a couple reasons. One being his lack of human contact.

-Like Isaac, his hands are very careful. He cherishes you, and wants you to feel the devotion he has for you, so he often handles you as gently as he does his violets.

-But the stage to get there is unbearably long. Like, Jeanne kinda long. In fact, Mo is someone that, (even after he gets together with you), thinks that people only approach him when they have an angle, something to gain from him. But that doesn’t mean he holds back with you.

-His initial hugs are awkward at best, the but number of ways he hugs you is as innumerable as his compositions. A loving, encasing hug for a declaration of affection, a passionate intense embrace when recovering from a close call, entwining of fingers in a quiet moment... you’ll have it all.

-He sometimes hums some songs in your ear while holding you, particularly if you’re upset. His hand will also be rubbing soothing and gentle circles in your back. Mozart is a passionate, empathic man deep down, and will accept nothing less than your complete comfort.

-Unfortunately, while his hands are beautiful and practically close to perfection in appearance, they’re awfully cold from poor circulation. Doesn’t help that he’s a literal vampire.

-The temperature difference is bound to make you jump a little, but he makes up for it with his gentleness. It’s also why he likes stroking your hair, entwining his fingers together around your waist so you don’t feel the cold as much.

-But the big reason points get deducted off is-

Shakespeare:

-D.... do i really need to explain this? ;;

-Don’t get me wrong, the man is very romantic. He never fails to whisper sweet words to sweep you off your feet. Hushed poetics and compliments flow out of his lips with ease, making you feel like a princess in his arms.

-However, like Mozart, his hands are cold from poor circulation. Not to mention... do you smell a hint of blood, coming from him? No, it’s just your imagination, he swears.

-Like the man himself, his embraces are very passionate. He loves holding you close by the waist, making sure your bodies are touching as much as possible. He’s rather fond of bringing a lock of your hair to his lips, kissing it with the flutter of a butterfly’s wings.

-He’s also rather... possessive. When he’s feeling particularly sly, he embraces you sensually from behind, resting his chin on top your shoulder. The way his arms slowly rise to curl around your waist feel like the sweetest trap you can’t bring yourself to escape.

-He’s also one that silently demands eye contact. As he keeps a hold of your waist, he likes to cradle your cheek tenderly, the mismatched wild yellow and blood red faze staring into your soul. The way he searches your eyes for your secrets steals your breath away, as the devotion he pours into the act belies any falsehoods he might’ve told.

-Again, this man is very devoted. Loves you to the point of obsession, really, But would I recommend hugging him personally? Aha ha ha haaa... gimme a while on that one. When the knife he has in his pocket isn’t poking my stomach. And NO, I don’t mean the one you want.

Overall rating: Romantic until someone dies/10 (I SEE those knives sticking out of your coat pocket Shakes, I want your arms, not the damn Iron Maiden).

Faust:

-Man wants you as a guinea pig. Why would you want to hug that.
