Two Kinds of Forgiveness with People
For Christians, there are two kinds of forgiveness. The first is unconditional and the other is conditional. Unconditional forgiveness is one sided. It is given by the one who has been offended, even if the offender does not seek forgiveness or cease his sinful ways. This one sided forgiveness may also keep others at a distance so as to mitigate further harm against us and to avoid their…

Half Atonement or Just Plain Ignorance ?
They call the fact that we do not believe all of mankind’s sins were forgiven at the Cross, “Limited Atonement”, but this conclusion of theirs is certainly nothing but myopia at its worst, as they obviously have not thought things through logically (as per usual).
I never thought “all of mankind’s sins having been unconditionally forgiven at the Cross” as a form of atonement, especially as most…

"Why would you need to ask for forgiveness from a god who has unconditional love?"
Divine forgiveness is both meaningless and immoral.

and then it dawned on me that i can’t eradicate the parts of me that are human. i can’t eradicate the need or desire to eradicate the parts of me that are human, i’m human and i’m messy and inside me will always exist self hate and self love and an insatiable desire to make them join hands and dance

Whoever will not love his enemies cannot know the Lord and the sweetness of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches us to love our enemies in such a way that we pity their souls as if they were our own children.

Agape Love in One Piece
First One Piece devo of 2024 (cue thunderous applause)! This time, I talk about another character who displays another attribute of God. Read on to learn more about the characters in the featured image.
It’s the first One Piece blog of 2024! Sick of these yet? Well, unfortunately (or fortunately) for you, this series won’t be stopping anytime soon. I may take a break in May/June to focus more on topics related to those months, but that’s further down the line. Anyway, onto the actual post.
One Piece obviously has a lot of characters that stand out for various reasons. Whitebeard’s no exception.…

I twist myself away from their judgmental words and their blazing eyes, and I beg you to do the same.
I hear their laments, their sneers, their disdain. I hear their false defense of me, their derision for what we are. What we are, still.
“How could you?” They said.
“He’s not made for you”, They said.
“He will only hurt you”, They said.
And you did.
You did.
And then you didn’t.
You labored and looked at me.
You made a choice, and it was me.
I made choice, and it was you.
But they keep whispering. Oh, how they whisper… sounds just like screams.
“It’s wrong!” They said.
“He made you feel like you’re nothing” they said.
“So are you!” I cry.
“You all do the same, too!” I fight.
For they defend me in one breath and disparage my feelings in the other.
For they claim that I deserve better and but refuse me the man I want.
For they pretend to love me truly, but hate who truly love.
They tried to make me feel small for something bigger than I am. So, I straightened my back and let them shiver.
I keep walking the path in which my forgiveness and your redemption matter.
I will not judge past versions of you through the lens of who you are now.
I will not turn away from who you wish to be.
So, let them, my love.
Let them judge.
Let them erase my voice.
I only need you to hear me.
After all, what matter the most?
Their self-righteousness or my will?
We are ever changing. We are ever fighting the tides of your pain, your mistakes and my failures.
We are ever forging ahead.
We might not have always be a “Yes”.
But we were never a “No”.
From Anonymous.
To all the believers.
To all the lovers.
To all the shippers.
In the name of endurance.
In the name of patience.
In the name of kindness.
In the name of forgiveness.
In the name of life.
In the name of love.
