Cognitive techniques are strategies used in cognitive therapy to help you identify and change negative thoughts and beliefs. These techniques should be practiced regularly so that they become habits.
Cognitive Restructuring: This involves identifying and challenging negative or irrational thoughts and replacing them with more positive or rational beliefs.
Thought Stopping: When you notice a negative thought entering your mind, you can mentally shout "Stop!" This interrupts the thought process and gives you a chance to replace the negative thought with a positive one.
Mindfulness and Meditation: These practices help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings in the present moment. When you observe your thoughts without judgment, you gain insight into negative patterns and choose to let them go.
Journaling: Writing down your thoughts can help you process and analyze them. With time you can identify patterns and work on changing negative thought cycles.

These are very simple descriptions and examples of cognitive techniques. I listed the ones we can put into practice on our own. There are more in depth methods and practices used by doctors on different fields of study and practice. I can list, as well as add upon the information listed here.

before i thought and probably your case too AND I HOPE THAT IT’S NOT ANYMORE  that time had anything to do with the loa, manifesting and stuff. that the fakest shit i’ve ever head. literally all is based off your mind and your assumptions.who tf decided that manifesting a house should take months? when time doesn’t even exist. LIKE TELL ME WHERE TF IS THE LOGIC?  like just sit there and think about it, time was human-made and the law is just the law, so why would you make the time a law? like why tf would you even just consider time ?j just think about an answer.the law isn’t logical itself so why would you even try to make it logical by putting it together with something thats considered logical? just ask yourself. why tf would my penthouse in new york would take months to get to me? whats the answer to that now?
FORGET ABOUT TIME, about deadlines or whatever stop counting days like you were in fucking jail. the only jail you’re in is you’re mind.

nothing has value, you’re the one creating value and putting things on a pedestal. do you know what’s worth more between a 1$ and a 100$ ? if you say the 100$ you really understood nothing did you? it’s as easy to have the 100$ than the 1$ as it’s the same thing to manifest a big fat miami house or a small condo in tokyo and if you think otherwise you haven’t totally let go of those limitings believes yet. why do you think money has so much value? it really is a piece of paper with a print. would you give a piece of paper with a drawing of an old man any value? no. THEN STOP GIVING VALUE TO MONEY OR ANYTHING IN LIFE.you think you could attract a person you don’t care about but not your crush or you desired friends? when those persons are worth the same and as easy to get as the other? the second you consider that everything you want is absolutely worthless and as easy to get as the oxygen you’re breathing right now, you’ll manifest.
the second you’ll pull out this bullshit that we instill in your brain of «  value, worth, bigger things, harder to get, longer to get » you’ll instantly get it. THE SECOND YOU’LL KNOW THESE WORTHLESS THINGS ARE ALREADY YOURS, YOU MANIFESTD IT!

fresh out of the shower, you're sitting in your living room idly scrolling on your phone when moon crawls towards you—gaze intently focused on your hands.
"what's up?" you murmur, the gentle glow of his eyes painting your clothes in ruby. the lights are out for the evening and the moonlight filtering through your open windows adorns the walls with an angelic touch.
he doesn't say anything, just tilts his head and reaches out to take hold of your free hand. you let him, curiosity at his actions taking root in your stomach as you watch him run a smooth, metal finger over your own. once, then twice, then thrice.
"wrinkly," he says, low, after a quiet moment of observation. you raise an eyebrow at him, then realize he's repetitively brushing over the same distal spot on each of your fingers.
"well, yes," you chortle and set your phone to the side so you can show him both your hands and their fingertips. "they're all pruned from my shower. see?"
he hums, leaning forward slightly so that his clothed chest comes into contact with your knee. in this manner, with him squatted on the floor before you and his back hunched in the shape of a question mark, he's a bit shorter than you. he uses it to his advantage, slouching further into your space. his forearm rests on your thigh.
"how long does it last?" he asks, his larger hand enveloping your own so his thumb can run up and down your index finger. he is, for all intents and purposes, utterly captivated. his gaze does not stray from his ministrations.
you make a contemplative sound. "eh, not sure. 's not too long, though. maybe a couple minutes. it has something to do with blood vessels constricting, i think." you shrug lightly. "my toes do the same thing."
you wiggle them as he leans back to peer down at your bare feet, then yelp and nudge him with your knee as he moves to pick one up with a cold hand. "hey! no touching!"
moon snickers and relents, slipping forward once more to lean across your lap. he plays with your fingers, then slips his between your own to hold your hands together. you breathe easy, marveling at the difference in size—metal and flesh, resting flush against one another. unnatural in a way that makes something in your stomach clench.
"ugly." he grins sharply up at you, squeezing your hand gently to let you know he's teasing. you stick your tongue out at him and let out a soft laugh.
"yeah, yeah, silly human with silly skin." you roll your eyes in good nature and squeeze his hand back.
and the two of you sit like that, hands interlocked as the stars rotate across the night sky—two puzzle pieces joined together for a moment of peace.

Reframe Your Thinking: Writing Exercise 💭✨
If you catch yourself thinking negatively, try to think about something better right away. Ask yourself, "How can I make this thought more positive?"
Think about a few thoughts that aren't very good or helpful. Also, think about any beliefs you have that might be stopping you from growing. Write down those thoughts on one side of a piece of paper. On the other side, write down how you can make those thoughts more positive.
Here are some examples:
Limiting Thought: I'm not good enough for this job. Revised Thought: I have the skills and qualities to excel in this job, and I'm going to give it my best effort.
Limiting Thought: I'm always so disorganized and messy. Revised Thought: I can work on becoming more organized, and I'll start by cleaning up one area at a time.
Limiting Thought: I'll never be able to lose weight. Revised Thought: I can make healthy choices and gradually reach my weight loss goals with determination and patience.
Limiting Thought: Nobody likes me. Revised Thought: I have friends and family who care about me, and I can make new friends by being open and friendly.
Limiting Thought: I'll never get out of debt. Revised Thought: I can create a budget and a plan to gradually pay off my debt and improve my financial situation.
Limiting Thought: I'm a failure because I made a mistake. Revised Thought: Mistakes are opportunities to learn and grow; I'll use this experience to do better next time.

the thing I keep coming back to about TAZ Balance, I think, is that there's heroes — lots of them, even — but there's not really a hero, not a singular one. when our characters try to save the world all on their own, and oh, do they try, their arcs — while eventually culminating in happy endings, for the most part — are, at the time, cast as tragedies. lone heroes, in TAZ Balance, are invariably tragic heroes.
Lucretia can't gather all the Grand Relics and defeat the Hunger on her own. Barry can't find Lup, much less sway Lucretia from her plan, on his own. Lup, crushed by guilt, sets off to neutralize her greatest mistake without even facing her family as she leaves, and that decision sets the story into motion in the first place. their intent to spare their family, to shoulder the burden alone so no one else will have to, fixes little and leaves them isolated. lonely. trapped.
even Magnus, rustic Folk Hero of Raven's Roost, fails to avenge the community that took him in. he sets off on a solitary mission to do so, never opening up about his pain to even his closest friends, but he never sees Kalen again. yet, maybe not too late, he learns, or rather, remembers — the strength to protect and avenge others comes from the strength to ask for help. the last thing helping anyone is trying to do this alone.
Lucretia assembles the Bureau, and as soon as she sees a way, brings Tres Horny Boys back under her wing. Barry, the very same day that Lucretia recruits them, sees the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet surface, and realizes it's time to put his trust in his family again — he shows himself to them soon after, and even with him putting up a facade, that's progress. and Lup, with endless time to reflect, is possibly the first of all of them to see where she went wrong. she won't be making that mistake again.
there's not a singular hero of the story, because taking on the burden of saving everyone is no task meant for one person. there's "our heroes," Tres Horny Boys, and there's the secondary, "secret," but no less important heroes who complete the ranks of the IPRE, but none can defeat the Hunger — nor reunite their family, nor vanquish an old foe — without leaning on each other, and on the new bonds they forged on this cycle. leaning on Johann, Kravitz, Team Sweet Flips, and the whole ensemble; every single connection that convinced them not to flee but to fight.
accepting that none of them can, that none of them should, be the hero alone — that's what averts the tragic end. the Hunger, terrible as it is, is wholly united, sharing and amplifying each other's despair. the only way to victory is to rely on each other, to care for each other, to learn how to be cared for, and to let your loved ones grant you hope.
